Two years in the making, with tunes recorded in 4 different countries, Can't Help It aims to be a modern prototype for further directions in future r&b and soul music. The brain-child of Los Angeles born globetrotter Brian Gibbs. Born in 1978 to a Motown-addicted single mother. Gibbs absorbed the music of Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles and Sam Cooke before he could even walk. Growing up in California led to a deep rooted and abiding love for Disco, P-funk and ultimately Hip Hop. On discovering bebop and then free-jazz, Brian swore to apply the improvisational techniques to modern technology. Early works included eerie sonic predictions of things to come in the now globe conquering 'west coast beat' scene - including, on the infamous PCH label, a 13 minute opus that took us from latin jazz, to afro cuban funk and banging downtempo rhythms. Later Gibbs would move to Tokyo, turn to techno influences, and begin to release 12 vinyls at a frenzied pace! Since 1999 his projects have been diverse and undefinable, yet remained consistent and unmistakably original. June 2012 brings Echo Park's 'Cant Help It' - the first ever full length album on Disfigured Dubz. Currently relocating back to the United States from Chile, Brian himself describes the current Echo Park direction as 'freaky bass driven hip hop and soul music with a touch of 'Nintendo noir'.

Oxia's classic 'Domino' gets reworked for it's ten year anniversary - in 2 vinyl parts. A decade after initially seeing the light, Oxia's now classic 'Domino' get's reworked to celebrate it's anniversary. The new release features a new cut by Oxia himself as well as several remixes by none other than Frankey & Sandrino, Robag Wruhme and Matador. The EP will be released through Agoria's newly found record label Sapiens on February 24th. Ten years ago the track made waves in the international dance music circuit, striking up chords with techno, trance and house DJs alike to quickly become an all-time classic. Having never expected the track to reach the status that it his, it's a very dear project to Oxia and he needed quite some persuading to give in and let Agoria and his team create something that was worthy of the original. The set of tracks are the first officially commissioned remixes by Oxia ever. "Finding remixers took some time, the amazing Frankey & Sandrino who's track 'Acamar' is my absolute favourite of 2015, Matador that just launched his Rukus label as well is the multi-talented ex label mate at Kompakt Robag Wruhme. This release features the most seminal output by Martin Bonds who truly is one the most underrated Techno artists from Detroit and often remain not credited when it comes to the history of Detroit Techno, although he has been an inherent part of it since the early years!

Bob and Marcia were a Jamaican vocal duo, that consisted of Bob Andy and Marcia Griffiths.

Griffiths & Andy achieved international fame with their rendition of Nina Simone’s “Young, Gifted and Black.” The song resonated deeply with audiences in the UK, selling over half a million copies and earning Bob & Marcia a place on Top of the Pops.

It reached the number #5 spot in the UK charts.

Carol Douglas is an American singer known for her contributions to the disco music scene in the 1970s.

During this time, she was signed with Bob Reno's Midland Records where she recorded a string of successful hits, including “Doctor’s Orders”.

This new compilation record showcases the best of Reno's four-to-the-floor 70s productions and remixes, remastered and pressed on fluorescent pink vinyl.

DAF (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft) is an influential German electropunk band from Düsseldorf (Germany). The band claimed not to target anything while writing lyrics, but to surround around Delgado-López's fascination with the sound of particular words. While recording their album Für Immer, the band split up. After four years the band got back together and released 1st Step To Heaven , which was (and still is) their only album in English. DAF received a lot of acclaim after this release. John Peel called them “the Grandfathers of Techno” and House music pioneer Adonis stated that the album was “House before there was House”.

1st Step To Heaven is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on translucent red coloured vinyl and includes an insert.

Markus Roberts fügt hinzu: „Amerikanische Musik verkörpert das amerikanische Leben: Flexibilität und die Fähigkeit, kontinuierlich etwas zu erschaffen und neu zu gestalten“. Hope und Roberts sind über die Jahre oft zusammen aufgetreten; mit dieser Aufnahme
faszinieren sie einmal mehr durch einen exzellent musizierten Dialog zwischen Jazz und Klassik.

Danny Elfman, film composer, classical composer, singer-songwriter, and recording artist, has garnered international recognition for composing over 100 feature film scores, as well as compositions for television, stage productions, and the concert hall. Elfman has been Tim Burton’s composer for more than 35 years, having scored 17 Burton films such as Batman, Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Big Fish, Alice in Wonderland, and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, as well as music, lyrics and songs for  The Nightmare Before Christmas for which he also sang the part of Jack Skellington. Elfman was also the lead singer and songwriter for the LA rock band Oingo Boingo for 17 years.
