A gorgeous 6-tracker by Norwegian techno/electro/acid artist Retape. The EP takes off where Drexciya and related projects such as The Other People People Place left it in the early 2000s. The title track takes it away and is the most technoid of all with a driving bassline and open hi-hats while long stretched melodies finish it off; this one sucks you onto the dance floor as if it were one big whirlpool. The second cut "Coir" is a serene a downtempo 4/4 track that gets you overwhelmed with an otherworldly melody sneakily coming in about midway. "EMN" then, pulls you straight underwater with its hard hitting snares, plastic bassline and acid feel. The tempo goes up with "Cars", a delay-heavy spaced out acid track for unstable dance floors. The following track "Rotation" is a beatless excursion into the world of clinical synthesized sci-fi music. The incorrectly named "Moving Down" is the final track and a true upper: high speed melodic electro with a touch of melancholia. Six times lucky, this one.

Pets Recordings is pleased to present Friends Will Carry You Home Too..., the second installment of the celebrated compilation series compiled by label bosses Catz N Dogz. Marking the third anniversary of the label, Friends Will Carry You Home Too presents two CDs loaded with brand new exclusives from the Pets Recordings' established and up-and-coming family of artists.

Both tracks dealt with his favourite themes - the life of the American cowboy, the legacy of rock 'n' roll - mixed with the Parisian artist's electronic sensibility.
This contemporary western feel, both melancholic and polished, came to the notice of Quentin Tarantino - who used Black Strobe's cover version of I'm A Man for the trailer of Django Unchained - and Dior, who chose the same track to advertise their perfume Eau Sauvage.
And now comes the single Going Back Home, with two new compositions and a cover version of Rufus Thomas' Tiger Man, made popular by a certain Elvis Presley. Three tracks that allow Arnaud Rebotini and his gang to mix rock and blues guitars with electronic loops and dancefloor beats, all crowned by the silky smooth crooning of Rebotini himself.
The EP is the first taste of Godforsaken Roads, Black Strobe's second album to be released in September 2014.

Cornerstone of Roam's revival, aka Scott Boutin, talented & versatile San Francisco-based producer. Both tracks are mid-tempo, moody acid techno w/attitude. (A) edgy bass, gothic synths & fluctuating arps. (B) twisted horns & relentless acid.

Together Konrad Black & Art Department offer up the wonderfully deep and dubby 'Graveyard Tan', a record presented with two different version, both of which are build around a darkly soulful vocal incantation and searingly twisted synth riff. The A side presents, Version 1, a richly mixed, bass heavy affair that has you hypnotized from the opening bar with it's 6am audio aesthetic whilst the flipside offers up Version 2 with its intense FX brought to the fore.

After releasing 'Yearning' on DFA Records, arguably one of the most influential disco tracks in recent memory and 'Moments of excellence' with Holy Ghost! on Permanent Vacation Records, Black Van aka Kris Menace & koweSix return with hot new single, 'Inside' on a brand new label, 'Excellent Music'.

the new 3x12" vinyl album by tiga !!!

this track has always been without a doubt one of the biggest house anthems ever. This new Tom & Jerry remix might as well become the house record of the year !! contains the original mix !!! "I Rock, Tonight, Forever You and I" !!!

The vinyl, enriched by two remixes from Ampere and Stereofunk vs. St. Martinique, offers a myriad of stylistic features. The remixes stand fast at each end of a spectrum on which the original clubmix moved freely - already played by trick & kubic, john aquaviva and the hacker !!!

Full 3 years have passed since Indy Toureau released his last EP on Solee's imprint Parquet Recordings and after

remixes for Beroshima, Xenia Beliayeva or Johannes Heil he's finally back home on BlackFoxMusic.

"Melanchromantic" is a kind of "retro-new-wave-techno": melancholic AND romantic at the same time! With an

80s-infected electrotech-style, the perfetctly setted movie-samples and his emotional melodies the track pushes

himself on every technofloor to blow the speakers out and destroy it! In a crazy electronic suit a la Mr.Oizo

comes the remix of Stockholms Zoo Brazil: With releases on labels like Get Physical, Systematic or Great Stuff he

Save's 'Monsters And Fairies' is an abandoned hotel room located somewhere between England and Spain. It's real for some while for others it's just a fantasy. Who knows

Its in this exact same place that the american singer/vocalist Craig Louis Higgins Jr. (Paranoid London/Mutado Pintado/Black Daniel), the australian singer/composer Saskia Sansom and the fench electronic music composer Marc Nguyen Tan (Colder) got together to record these songs during the year 2012. However some listeners will find interesting to know, that until today, the three of them have never actually met in person.

Four tracks from this experience are available now on limited 10' vinyl with original artwork by London artist Sara Pope.

Opening things up we have Jamie Blanco again - he is definitly on a roll now what with his release on Berlins Love on the Rocks and his last LHT release got played on the essential mix by Jackmasters crew , and this one harks back to his first one I think she Thinks in that it is hard hitting deep dreamy analogue beast with a bit of a unique Blanco signature vibe to it

Next up is Facade -showing his hip hop roots this track was made entirely on an emu sampler ,and just tweaking a few knobs here and there shows you the Facade way of getting deep and ethereal while that consistent 4 / 4 beat maintains that dancefloor spirit

Then to side B and we ve brought back another LHT favorite with Fx Mchn who gain manages to combine darkness with light ! the track is truly mysterious up to the drop then wait for it ..he comes correct with some funky as hell beat programming.

LIMITED!

And finally our man from Power Vacuum - Bintus puts his Kruton hat on today - you may know Krutons sounds from Dissident records that s where I first heard him ,he really has a remarkable sound and his always sound big through the system , this is a tool with a twist and a tip of the hat to early breakbeat as well as a bit of italo

Following a couple of excellent EPs for Gold Panda's NOTOWN, pastoral electronica artist Luke Abbott has finally announced a follow-up to 2010's 'Holkham Drones' with second album 'Wysing Forest', due in June. Like his debut, the album will again see a release through James Holden's Border Community imprint.

Finally the second single out of Martin Eyerer's highly acclaimed debut album "Word Of Mouth". A huge peaktime clubmonster determined by that very different steel drums melody. With a great new Club mix from Martin himself and fantastic remixes by Robert Babicz aka Rob Acid, Daniele Papini and Someone Else.

Systematic boss Marc Romboy debuts on Rebirth with 'Reciprocity', a stunning track
featuring the beautiful vocals from Bajka.

Working in electronic club music for over two decades, Romboy has co-founded and built
internationally respected dance-music labels and projects, never tiring of coming up with
fresh and innovative ideas to push the limits of electronic sounds.

In 1994, Romboy founded his first label Le Petit Prince that quickly became one of
Germany's most popular underground outputs, and in 2004 started his second
label, Systematic Recordings.

The first release 'Every Day In My Life', has been coproduced by Booka Shade, has been followed by music from artists like Robert Babicz, Stephan Bodzin, Steve Lawler and Dusty Kid, and EPs from Robert Owens, Blake Baxter, Chelonis R. Jones, Gui Boratto, Spirit Catcher and Phonique.

Consequentially Romboy also released his artist albums 'Gemini' and 'Contrast' on the label to great critical acclaim.

'Reciprocity' is an hypnotic and atmospheric track with the distinctive Romboy's drum
beats, a great use of synths, pads that give an intense mood...and the beautiful vocals
from Bajka. Born in India and currently living in Berlin, Bajka is vocalist, lyricist, songwriter
and a poet.

A unique voice, bubbling, sensual, and soulful , Bajka has been recording and
releasing music for almost 15 years, collaborating with artists like Bonobo for Ninja Tune,
Beanfield and Ben Mono for Compost and Radio Citizen for Ubiquity records.

The package includes also a great version from Chicago master Tevo Howard, back on
Rebirth with his trademark warm deep acid vibe...and an exclusive to vinyl Reprise
version. Something very special for our ears !

Another limited edition picture disc with brand new remixes of the latest MOTOR single, taken from their recent milestone album 'Man Made Machine' is coming out on CLRX. The featured vocalist on this fourth edition of the series is none other than Gary Numan, a true legend and another undisputed electronic music pioneer. He is equally known for his chart-topping hits in the 70s and 80s as for his signature sound of heavy synthesizer hooks and massively processed guitars who inspired countless acclaimed musicians of our time. MOTOR feat. Gary Numan 'Pleasure In Heaven' is an encounter of two generations of gifted electronic musicians and could be considered a little piece of electronic music history itself. For this challenging task the Singaporean dj/producer Xhin and the South Californian Drumcell, two cutting edge techno artists have been called on the remix duties and have delivered highly powerful and thrilling versions of this song. While Xhin uses Gary Numan´s vocals predominantly as atmospheric elements, enriching and enchanting the deep and driving track, Drumcell´s mix is almost like an alternative full vocal mix with a slow and mesmerizing yet raw and uncompromising approach. Supremely honoring the innovative techno roots of MOTOR, both versions show a lot of the artist´s outstanding production skills and complement one another perfectly in their dissimilarity. Apart from the strictly limited collector´s item picture discs,

4/4 bass drive. The second release of the label Bomjbar consists of two tracks. It excels the first one in its obsession, efficacy and energy. Advanced Daddy contains a part of percussion bass, which accompanies the whole composition. A hard skeleton and high-pitch cry run through your body, especially when there is a high sound. Hoboken Hollow is softer, but only at the first sight. The composition consists of some parts, which mutually complement each other and it is necessary to listen it overall in order to understand it. Recording out tracks, we try to make a high-quality mastering that a listener can feel all details of composition. It is natural that it operates upon vinyl format !! Forever !!

EP in Sleeve with 3mm spine + download card Territories: World, Ex F,UK Tracklist : A We Got Soul B Time Bomb At the end of 2013, Boston Bun released his second EP, 'Flasher", on Ed Banger. The three tracks were hypnotic and tailored for clubs. They were played on the radio (BBC1, Le Mouv, France Inter) and also by the best DJs on the electro scene (2manyDjs, Skream, Duke Dumont, Erol Alkan, Surkin, Boys Noize, Daniel Avery...). Boston Bun's new EP, 'We Got Soul", is a great step. Vocals are more important than ever, it's club music with soul! 'We Got Soul' features Bear Who (DJ Sneak's voice) on vocal. It's an anthem-tribute to The Mongoloids, Boston Bun's main influence that adds a contemporary flavour to the special scene. The B-side, 'Time Bomb' (featuring the DJ/singer Piu Piu) is an emotional growing track, between pads and explosion. With such a unique and breakthrough sound, Boston Bun establishes further more among the French producers who really matter.

Riton's 'Lost My Mind' EP sees the former boy wonder of Techno release his first original material in over 12 months. Needless to say, a lot happened during this period, and arriving at this point was not easy. But like all good stories of loss and redemption, there will always be a moment where the protagonist must look back in order to go forward, a return to form in order to pave the way to the future. This EP, released January 2013 on Ed Banger records, signifies this moment both musically and creatively. Combining techno, house music, hip hop and electro 'Lost My Mind' EP kick-starts with the festival pumping Techno track 'Bang Your Head.' Then goes on to soften for a moment with the warm chicago house sound of 'Dance to Great Golf Ball In The Sky.' Both styles Riton has honed to-a-tee from touring and making music with Soulwax/2 Many DJs and also as one of half of Carte Blanche with DJ Mehdi. On the flip side we find Riton age 19. Having started his musical career as the back room DJ at the legendary UK club Shindig, Riton became known for DJ sets that chopped Hip Hop, Jazz, House and Latin music together. Taking this inspiration into a studio he started Switch Records which released his first material as Riton, and earned a recording contract with UK Hip Hop and Urban label Grand Central, whilst simultaneously running the counter at UK Hip Hop record store Fat City. Ritons debut album 'Beats Du Jour' was a lesson in music making that seamlessly blended house and urban music. Thirteen years later and the B-side of 'Lost My Mind' EP sees Riton returning to the place he knows so well; 'Lost my Mind' features vocals from Jay Norton, last seen on Symphony Halls 'One Night Stand', Ritons collaboration with Canblaster on Marble Records and UK Grime artist Scrufizzier makes an appearance, spitting a fire storm of a verse. Finally 'Girls In The Hood' sees Miss Kittin featured on this track inspired and remade from her own releases on DJ Heidi's, long time Riton coll

re-release!
Without an outlet for their more daring musical collaborations, Washington D.C. producers Chris Burns and Gavin Holland started their new label, MYSTERIES OF THE MIND with the generous contributions of wealthy art patrons from around their city. Unrestrained aural exploration of light and dark fantasy lies at the core of this label's ethos, without regard for contemporary trends, morals or popular social opinion.

Forbidding vocals and an eerie soundscape create a sleazy portrait in 'Malcolm X Park,' a track immortalizing the assorted vice, scandal and danger that lie within the infamous DC park. 'Heartstones,' with its tremendous climaxes and unexpected payoffs, is sure to bring smiles across the dancefloor. 'Arboretum' rounds out this release with a sun kissed combination of slinky fretwork and an otherworldly polyrhythmic foundation.

the first release on the sublabel from kosmo records !!!

2007 Klaxons did what pretty much no band have done since: arrive with a fully fledged ideology - new rave. It might be hard to remember now, but back then it was strange seeing a high street normally shifting outfits in various hews of bland flooded with weird neon clothing. On 16th June 2014, Love Frequency, Klaxons' third album drops. While their second record was perceived as a rejection of their dance influenced past, this is a return to it. Once again they've leapt to the front of a queue of none as the only group of people blending the euphoria of today's dance scene with the aesthetics, experimentation and instrumentation of post-punk.
