How do you stay true to your own sound without repeating yourself How do you free yourself from the burden of wild expectations Ultimately, how do you create a 'difficult second album' that bucks the trend and sounds at least as fresh and enduring as the first Rather than searching for answers to all these questions, Douglas Greed ploughs headlong into his second BPitch Control LP Driven, leaving needless doubts for dust in his rear-view mirror. Just keep on going! Someone else can do the soul-searching, he prefers to dedicate his heart and mind to new tracks. In any case, he was never short of passion or ideas. Douglas Greed has always been driven, and his nature rarely allows him to remain in one place on the genre map for too long. With a musical upbringing ranging from hip hop jams and drum'n'bass parties to the darker avenues of pop à la Joy Division, Depeche Mode or Radiohead, his recent years as a producer and live act have always involved thinking far beyond the usual framework of techno and house. The results of these thought processes, always incorporating the hours away from the dance floor, have already been laid bare on his debut album KRL (Freude am Tanzen) and singles for labels including Infiné, Acker and Gigolo.

Spaniard Javi Redondo makes an appearance on the superb Meant label with a new offering of tracks that come complete
With remixes from Bohemian Groove and Get A Room.
Javi has been DJing for more than 15 years but his production career is in its relative infancy, yet he has already impressed
With his fresh musical perspective with a few tracks already released by a couple of recognized labels. Meanwhile Remain's
Meant label has long established itself as a contemporary outlet for credible electronic sounds releasing music from the likes
Of Vosper, Rework, Alien Alien and Remain himself.
The opener and title track is a grungy piece of house with dirty guitar riffs and grinding drums setting a dark post apocalyptic
tone. Shadowy vocals and noir synth lines bring plenty of menace to this rough analogue anthem. Bohemian Groove turn in a
remix that is a little more electric and club ready, its still a moody affair with explosive synths and occult voices lurking in the
shadows, but this one is also married to a more direct and driving tech house groove. 'Motorway' is, as the title hints, a classic
bit of motoric house with a rolling guitar played bass line, crisp boom bap snares and plenty of dark wave synth and guitar lines
that conjure thoughts of DJ greats like Andrew Weatherall and Ewan Pearson. It's slick and gliding at the same time as being
delightfully angsty. Get A Room! Appear on remix duties and add in vocal traffic report musings, more disco styled synths but
also slow down the groove and allow it to spit and kick a bit more roughly than the streamlined original.
If you buy the release digitally you also get 'No Cool Night', which is a gurgling, dystopian bonus track with blurting synths,
malfunctioning machines and menacing moods all pervading from start to finish. This is an arresting EP of well made,
perfectly analogue electronic music that takes it cues from indie as much as techno and excels as a result.

limited 1-sided coloured 12" vinyl pressing !!!

Galletas Callientes & Monkey Tool are proud to present this fantastic project !!

Electro Tropical at its best... NEEDED ! Melting vinyl and electronic sciences to the traditional instruments of Cumbia, Batterias and street music... A melt of tropical electro, Ragga, techno, Batuccada, Dub, Merengue... Defenitly a masterpiece

It's Sound-Clash of the Titans time here, as DAFT and DEADHAU5 remix the massive new Chems track to deliver maximum dancefloor devastation - miss this at your peril !

Shenoda steps up to the plate for ManMakeMusic's final offering of 2013.

Having already caught the attention of Matthew Dear, Mattias Tanzamann, Skream and Martyn for with his earlier outings on Defected, Hypercolour and Losing Suki, Shenoda gives us a superb 3 tracker of hefty, garage-infused house.

The EP shows Shenoda's musical gifts alongside first-rate production skills and we predict that it will have many a winter dance shaking to the rafters

Ever since Digitalism played Boiler Room at 2013's !Melt Festival the internet has been asking what this track might be. There have even been bootlegs made from the audio, but the version we release on Vinyl was the one that lit up dancefloors from I Love Techno in Belgium to Genban in Tokyo, Output in New York and Razzmatazz in Barcelona. It's been a staple in the Digitalism DJ set for almost a year and a unshared gem until now. On the dawn of a digital only release featuring a Vocal version with remixes from RAC, Riton and Paul Woolford, we proudly present a very limited (250 copies) special edition etched vinyl of the original instrumental version. Got them whilst you can.

Copenhagen's infamous producer, songwriter & DJ wizz-kid just released his new album, entitled 'Fool'. In 2010 - while having already gained notoriety as a DJ and Producer - his album debut 'Standing On Top Of Utopia', con rmed his presence on an even grander level. Radio friendly, intelligent and feel-good electronic pop never sounded so fresh. Now with 'Fool' Kasper continues his wild and ecstatic journey into the future of music. The second single to feature from the new long-player is the casually cool 'Deep Is The Breath'. Now a permanent xture in Kasper's more song-based endeavours, ex-Murder and I Got You On Tape vocalist Jacob Bellens features alongside up-coming talent Emma Acs in the tantalising original. A typical mixture of throbbing electronic pop and heartfelt song-writing, this rst taste of 'Fool' is sure to alight your curiosities and even more.

part 1 of 2 from the vinyl series from the 2010 winter music conference in miami !!!

Exclusive Record Store Day 2014. Special hand-picked selection of early singles as well as previously unreleased on vinyl tracks by Alexander Robotnick (aka Maurizio Dami). The first single on the record is "I Wanna Believe" which was released under the moniker Gina & The Flexix in 1985 on the legendary Fuzz Dance label (an Italo Disco sublabel of Materiali Sonori). It is a rare 12" single featuring a dance-floor stomping beat, melodic synth leads and female vocals. The other single on the compilation is the 7" version of "C'est La Vie" which was released in 1987. Most of the LP is comprised of tracks recorded from 1982-1984 which have only been released on CD in 2003 on the "Rare Robotnicks" compilation (except one track from 2005's "Krypta 1982" and one other track culled from "Robotnick Archives"). The exclusive to vinyl tracks were hand-selected and display a diverse and ever-changing sound palette yet maintaining the unique and unmistakable Alexander Robotnick style which we have all loved through the years. For fans of classic Italo disco. Presented on high-quality 180gram tri-color transparent blue/purple colored vinyl.

Medical Records presents two exclusive releases. Compilation of very rare and sought after A + B sides (plus 2 more hand-selected tracks) of 3 Italo Disco iconic 12" singles that were originally released on the legendary Fuzz Dance label (a sublabel of Materiali Sonori). The first single needs no introduction to lovers of disco. Trophy "Slow Flight" (vocal + instrumental versions) was released in 1982. A very hard-hitting percussive track with very interesting production that is quite gritty yet smooth with it's vocoded vocals and synth melodies. The second single which is probably the most rare is Zed "Plastic Love" vocal + instrumental versions that were released in 1983. Sultry female vocals and pulsing electro sequences make these two versions absolutely essential. Clocking in at the third position on both sides are the vocal and instrumental versions of "Hesitation" by Mya & The Mirror which is a production by Alexander Robotnick (Maurizio Dami) with female vocals. Also included as bonus tracks at the end of side A and B are Mon Bijou's "Just a Lover" and Naif Orchestra's "Check Out Five". For fans of classic and the synthy side of Italo Disco (i.e. Casco, Sun La Shan, Amin Peck, etc). Presented on high-quality 180gram striped "Italian Flag" colored vinyl. Limited Edition.

Munich's JALLAClub has been going on for ten consecutive years now.
World music is what connected DJs Rupen Gehrke and Dimitri Voulgarakis when they
thought about putting on a smart party in an extraordinary location at Bavaria's capital -
the National Museum of Ethnology. Both of them need music as a daily diet and after
the first two parties their enthusiastic audience couldn't wait for the next one to happen.
Munich was getting into their thing: Crossing cultural boundaries and bridging
generations while having a lot of fun along the way was a new thing in a town used to
segregated club life and stylistic boredom.
JALLA WORLDMUSIC CLUB provides a special brew of world music and clubbing far
beyond mainstream party life. The audience is colourful in every respect, people get
down to clubby Ethno sounds, kicking Balkan beats, Greek grooves, cool Arabian pop,
Afro house and original Latin, with some up to date club sounds, HipHop and Cumbia
thrown in for good measure. The musical taste and immediacy of JALLA's DJs is a
sure-shot concept aiming straight for the dance floor.
Wladimir Kaminer, author and DJ of the renowned 'Russendisko' is a regular guest: - I
am a party guy since way back when, it's an essential part of my life. Most nights are
dark, loud and soon to be forgotten. It's the highlights which count. I remember most JALLAClub nights, though - and there quite a few! They are innovative, intelligent and
sparkle with an understanding of global culture. They could be the perfect road for
mankind, not leading from war to war but from party to party, while staying in the
collective consciousness.'

2014...das Ruhrgebeat...ein Ort ständigen Wandels...einst
Deutschlands Waffenschmiede, dann rückständiges
Industriemuseum und nun innovativer Standort
zukunftsträchtiger Technologien...Heimat der Kult - Electros von
THE ETERNAL AFFLICT, die im 25. Jahr ihres Bestehens aktiv
einzelnen Facetten auseinandersetzt - mal nachdenklich, mal
ironisch, immer noch kritisch und rebellisch -
Attribute, die T.E.A. begleiten und auszeichnen. Winus Rilinger,

menschlichen Lebens, mal hymnisch (Through Barricades, Napalm God), mal
nachdenklich in These Demons, worin Cyan sich mit seinen eigenen
Dämonen auseinandersetzt. In Revolucion sind T.E.A. wieder die Rebellen, Million
Shades Of Grey entführt in guter alter T.E.A.-Tradition auf die Tanzflächen der Clubs.
In der beinahe 7minütigen D.N.S. - Dark Noise Symphony bringen T.E.A. das Thema
elektronischen Balladen Requiem For A Day und The Last Call (philosophische
eigenen Studio arbeiten.

On an icy winter night in Berlin several moons ago, Discodromo visited Massimiliano Pagliara on Karl Marx Boulevard... They turned on their analog synths and drum machines, their space effects and neon lights, and fell into an electronic trance which went on and on like a twisted dream. . . gespannt . . . dann reinhören!

New with his Debut on Dusted Decks Records; BIRDEE! "Discoo" is a massive Disco-influenced Electro House Bomb and comes with huge Remixes by JAY ROBINSON, STEREOFUNK and GOLDEN TOYS!

Amazing Italo Disco anthem! Very obscure early Italo release previously released on the Italo Disco label Il discotto.
