The new single from the Orb featuring Lee Scratch Perry - 'Ball Of Fire' - a slamming, positive dub house anthem adorned with the Upsetter's ebullient lyrical flow.
'Ball Of Fire' precedes, the release of new album, 'More Tales From The Orbservatory', the follow-up to last year's stellar collaboration between The Orb and long-time inspiration Lee Scratch Perry; 'The ORBSERVER In The Starhouse'.
Unsurprisingly the sessions for that album produced more music than one CD could handle, so Scratch, Alex Paterson and Thomas Fehlmann are returning in fine style with this new album. Released June 3rd on Cooking Vinyl, the set features further excursions from last year's sessions at the Starhouse studio in Berlin, plus new instrumental versions.
Ball Of Fire Comes complete with a killer selection of dubwise remixes from like-minded low-end explorers Dabrye, Deadbeat and Mad Prosessor, with the latter two delivering both vocal and dub versions.

DJing all over the world at many of clubland's most esteemed nights over the past couple of years and collaborating with an elite roll-call of dance music's most credible class, Victoria named the record Nocturnes because it is 'an album indebted to the night." Winning critical acclaim alongside rapturous responses from live crowds, Rudimental are a collective with strong musical heart (in the shape of Piers Aggett, Amir Amor, Kesi Dryden and Leon Rolle) who, like Soul II Soul, Massive Attack or Basement Jaxx before have come together to strike musical gold with a unique identity: sound- clashing live instruments, beats and soulful voices. Rudimental release their debut album Home , through Asylum Records on April 29th. . It follows the blaze lit by previous singles - the chart-topping 'Feel The Love', 'Not Giving In', with its empowering message for hard times, and the bittersweet street record 'Hell Could Freeze' - with New York rapper Angel Haze. The new song brings the summer festival season fast forward a few months - with a huge sing-along chorus seamlessly on top of a rolling D&B beat and the band's signature brass and Hammond organ.
The band will also take their carnival-esque live show - complete with extended Rudimental family of players and vocalists - on the road this April with a UK headline tour supporting the release of their debut album. Their tour kicks off in Glasgow on April 23. They will also play Liverpool, Nottingham, Manchester, Birmingham, Oxford and Norwich, taking in London's Electric in Brixton on May 2. The headline tour follows their slot supporting label-mate Plan B on his sell out arena tour, and Australia's Future Music tour (alongside Stone Roses & Prodigy), and a US tour taking in SXSW and a main-stage slot at Miami's Ultra Festival.
With a melting pot of influences stamped firmly across the brilliant and adventurous forthcoming album - soulful songs, live instrumentation and massive club tunes - the tour will showcase a wealth of new material and deliver the hits, including one of 2012's biggest hits - the Brit Nominated 'Feel The Love.'

"A good friend of ours said after hearing an advance copy of this record that ADULT. used to
sit on the sidelines and critique the idiosyncrasies of culture, but now we are on the inside,
sending our message out." So says Adam Lee Miller of The Way Things Fall, ADULT.'s fifth
album and a record that genuinely deserves the oft-abused music industry epithet "long-
awaited." Miller pauses before adding wryly, "We agree."
The Way Things Fall is an album that looked like it might never happen, because since the
release of Miller and his partner Nicola Kuperus' last record — 2007's Why Bother — the
duo have been largely absent from the world of music. "After a long world tour, we totally
burnt out," Miller relates. "We decided we wanted to do something completely different."
That something was a trilogy of films entitled the Three Grace(s) triptych, completed in
2010, along with a variety of other pursuits, including managing a major commercial
renovation and working on their visual art projects.
When Miller and Kuperus re-entered the studio in 2012, there was no intention of making
another album — they planned to record a 12" containing two new songs they'd written in
2012 for their return to live performance at the Detroit Museum of Contemporary Art. But it
turned out that the time away from music had recharged ADULT.'s batteries, and then some.
"We were apparently a dam that was ready to break," says Miller. "We were writing
frantically, as if in a frenzy."
The result is a record that sounds both focused and coherent, flowing with a conceptual
ease. "(The album) flowed efficiently and agreeably for us," says Miller. "We have never
worked better together. We believe this is because we exorcised all of our demons through
our past records, we have no baggage, we started anew. We left behind the self-conscious
adolescents." And indeed, ADULT. have never sounded so self-assured, so poised, and so
vital.

To coincide with its ten year anniversary, Domino is to reissue Four Tet's seminal album, Rounds, on 13th May 2013. The reissue will feature the album as well as a live set from Copenhagen recorded near the time of the original release.

Electronic music heavyweight Rex the Dog joins the Southern Fried stable for his latest single release, the stunning vocal anthem 'Do You Feel What I Feel', backed with remixes from Rex himself and Tiger & Woods and the energy packed b-side 'Bonn'...
London based artist Jake Williams AKA Rex The Dog has been something of a creative enigma since bursting on the scene nearly a decade ago. An obsession with classic synthesizers, and the Korg 700S in particular, helped define his early sound whilst a fascination not only with the music making process but all things creative led Williams to have a hand in everything from the artwork, to the packaging, to the videos that accompanied his music. Alongside releases on pivotal labels such as KOMPAKT and Kitsune he also ran his own Hundehaus Recordss and more recently launched a bi-monthly club night, BREED at East London's Dalston Superstore.
For his latest musical offering Rex The Dog has joined forces with vocalist Jamie McDermott from The Irrepressibles for a record that strikes a timeless note with its arpeggiated bassline and soaring vocal melodies. The package opens with the original version of 'Do You Feel What I Feel', showcasing Williams' deft production, weaving layers of retro synths, bass and drum programming around McDermott's falsetto vocal, the end result comes on like a modern day Bronski Beat, with real depth and passion dripping from every note. This is followed by another original gem from Williams in the shape of 'Bonn', an energy packed, pulsating synth affair that is certain to find favour with Rex The Dog fans everywhere.

Ten years ago, 'We Are Your Friends' reached our ears and pushed Justice to the front of the scene, a young French duo signed by Pedro Winter on the label he had just created: Ed Banger Records. The record that followed, †, was an album of condensed jerky electro, of disco reminiscences and heavy metal energy, with unstoppable tunes like 'D.A.N.C.E', 'Stress' and 'Phantom', and its videos, allowed Justice to follow the 90's French Touch and its filtered disco loop. Since the release of their debut album in 2007, Justice has been tirelessly touring the world by bus, road festival to festival and concerts all over throughout the planet. Since their first tour, the band developed a powerful stage design that they polished and magnified throughout the years and the gigs. The wall of vintage Marshall amps front of the stage, an imposing cross, impressive light shows, and the sound of Justice totally revisited for the live shows. In 2012, the Audio, Video, Disco took them from Australia to United States, Europe and South America. The duo - as laidback on rock festivals main stage (Coachella, Lollapalooza, Les Eurockéennes, Les Vieilles Charrues...) as electro ones (Ultra, Sonar, Melt...) - will perform a hundred of concerts which allow them to master their show. When the first notes of 'Genesis' rang out as an intro, you realized you had just embarked on a one and a half hour sonic roller coaster with their hit songs mashed into a megamix with an epileptic light show. Originally released as part of Netsky's award-winning second album "2", "We Can Only Live Today" will be familiar to Netsky fans from its former guise as "Puppy".

The title track from this EP is given a cheeky update with Belgian vocalist Billie providing a polished vocal hook, "We Can Only Live Today (Puppy)" is a hands-in-the-air anthem with uplifting synths, sing-a-long lyrics and plenty of dancefloor punch.

Remix come from Belgian electro talent Modek who shakes things up with a cacophony of fidgeting beats to bring the EP to an end.

OE 03 comes from the Superior Inferior and includes remixes of the title track by scouse stalwart John Heckle. Produced from feelings and insight although clearly taking inspiration from numerous genres such as minimal synth, wave, acid, techno, EBM and industrial.

Echelon XIII is a heavily synth based track with much Monopoly input, heavy 707 drums and raw percussion giving it a moody downbeat feel, however the unexpected acid hook throws a whole new dynamic to the track. Interstellar Acid Pzykosis is a much heavier track and its evident there is some EBM and industrial inspiration here. Spaced out Moog elements and a dominating 303 line make it left of centre.

The B side has been reserved for John Heckles remixes of the EP's namesake. Interpretation 1 certainly reflects the contorted nature of the original however it brings a new uplifting and carefree side to it also. The second interpretation is one one hand lighter with some of its synth elements than the original but constant acid pulses and ridiculously heavy kick patterns in parts set it in its own stride.

After 'The Power Of Now' and 'The Nickel Ride', Cómeme is again releasing a generous various artist 12'! Six tracks, as much as we could fit onto this vinyl! Featuring residents like Alejandro Paz, Christian S and Matías Aguayo, plus three artists new to the label: Lechuga Zafiro from Montevideo, Gladkazuka from Medellin and Carisma from Buenos Aires: the subversive 'El Untitled'.
The beautiful vinyl begins with the stroboscopic and technotic 'Muerte Instrumental' by Carisma (Carolina Stegmayer and Ismael Pinkler), a duo of producers and DJs from Buenos Aires, who intensify that legendary city's nightlife with their glittering, pumping, mysterious and love driven music. Gladkazuka, who appears on this 12 with the title track 'El Untitled', is the third artist from Colombia to release on Cómeme. Medellin has become a centre spot of Cómeme activities, Aguayo, Sano, Gladkazuka and the soon to be released Lord Byron Maiden, have been working there together on new music, that will soon be presented on Cómeme! 'El Untitled' by Gladkazuka is pure electric darkness! Pablo de Vargas aka Lechuga Zafiro is the first artist from Uruguay to ever release on Cómeme. 25 years old, living in the capital of Montevideo, where Marihuana has been legalized while the rest of the world is stepping backwards, he is a DJ and web activist who is sharing his tracks and edits generously, focusing often on the Uruguayan Candombe rhythms, which we can also hear in the subtropical 'Sapo The Manga', a track inspired by a song of Uruguayan legends Ruben Rada and Eduardo Mateo. Matías Aguayo is back for more and more releases this year! This is 'El transatlántico' a hand played cycling ode to the positive techno utopia. After having released one of the most played out EPs on Cómeme with his track 'Duro', Alejandro Paz is back and drops the bomb 'El House', in which he declares that as a grandpa he will still dance to housemusic, with his friends, his grandsons and daughters, and the nurses; Matias Aguayo jammed the 808 on this one. Finally, Christian S gives us 'Die Durch die Nase Lachen', an 808 tool worth gold to a real DJ...

Sense & a whole array of others. Thats some pedigree,..This album has been gestating for some time, almost 20 years (the
1st from '93). 'I was travelling back from a gig recently & had an idea for a tune. I was just jotting it down & thought, 'I've
been doing this for ages, I wonder where all the others are' So I went to find the remaining fragments & try & put them
together. Every one of these songs immediately takes me back to a place & a time where it happened.' Sorting through
corrupt discs, snapped 8 track tapes, withered floppy discs & the plain missing, part of the process of creating the LP has
been the search & in a few cases, restoration. 'Most of them have not been touched,' explains Andy. 'I've had to recreate 1
or 2 as they were on C90s and even if you like the lo-fi it was just too much but some were in great nick.'

This is a personal record through the mortal maze of dance. 'I did it for me, I was worried that anyone else might not have
the same feelings when they heard the tracks but I played it to some people & they seemed to get caught up in the journey
as well.' From squat raves to gigs in front of 100k people to arriving at an LA gig on a Camel. It's a history of the past 20
years through the lens of 1 person. Enjoy the ride!

Sie selbst bezeichneten ihre Musik einmal als Electronic Wildstyle. Das von IN TECHNICOLOR ausgelegte Netzwerk an reich verzierten Einflüssen ist auch eine direkte Folge des kooperativen Ansatzes von COMA: so ist es das eigene, seit 2008 in Köln geführte Studio, welches zum Austragungsort der vielen Gastauftritte gleichgesinnter Künstler wurde, darunter VIMES, ADA, ROOSEVELT und MITs Edi Winarni. Der beeindruckenste Part Daß das alles so gut zusammenhält, hin und her schwingend zwischem expressivem Songwriting und infektiösen Grooves, mit massiven Hits wie die Vocoder-Ballade MY ORBIT oder das sehnsuchtsvolle MISSING PIECE als Spitzen eines gewaltigen Eisberges. Die in sich ruhende Weisheit des letzten Tracks T.E.D. schließlich bringt das Album - und eines der mitreissendstenn Hörerlebnisse des noch jungen Jahres - zu einem krönenden Abschluss. Die Welt ist soeben ein bißchen besser geworden.

Vor einigen Jahren entwerfen die Kitbuilders ein Paralleluniversum, das aus den Bausteinen Electro, New Wave, IDM und Synthpop zusammengesetzt ist. Die Kitbuilders-Releases auf Labeln wie Electrecord, World Electric, Television, Vertical, Ersatz Audio etc.) bekommen weltweit Resonanz und das Duo, das aus Benway und Ripley (deren prägnante Stimme das zentrale Element vieler Tracks ist) besteht, wird von vielen DJs wie Hell, Andrew Weatherall, Maral Salmassi, Laurent Garnier, Chicks On Speed etc. gefeatured. Die beiden Kölner arbeiten hart an der Erweiterung des Electro-Themenparks und machen sich auch als energiegeladener, mit Analog-Synths bewaffneter Liveact einen guten Namen; sie spielten in namhaften Clubs in San Francisco, New York, Helsinki, Tel Aviv, Paris, Madrid, London (u.a. Fabric), Edinburg, Berlin, Istanbul usw und auf Festivals wie Roskilde, Benicassim, Sonar, Eurosonic und Arvika. Auf dem neuen Album - You Trashed My Tracks' haben Erstliga-Künstler der Techno- und Elektro-Szene Remixe und Neu-Interpretationen von Stücken des letzten Kitbuilders-Albums - You Trashed My Mind' (Groove: - ...Wahnsinn im tanzbaren Gewand') vorgelegt. Mit dabei sind u.a. Terrence Dixon, ASCII Disko, Radioactive Man, Ear Monk (aka RA-X), Salz, Bob Humid, Bolz Bolz und Falco Brocksieper.

Alessandro Parisi recorded this album just with a Roland TR-707 and a Roland JX-3P. The result is impressive. For Lux Rec it was worth the labelÕs first LP. The heritage from his home in the northeast of Italy is clearly present in the music of Parisi. Back in the late seventies and early eighties Pordenone was an industrial city with a vivid underground post punk and wave scene. Cold weather electronics. Fog and darkness surrounds the place to this day and deeply pervades this record: the history of a city called Draconia. Who will do wrong shall not be forgiven. Limited to 250 copies, it comes in a red vinyl double 12-inch outfit.

Die in Grenoble geborene Caroline Hervé alias Miss Kittin gehört seit Jahren zu den bekanntesten Künstlerinnen der elektronischen Musik. Zusammen mit ihrem Produktionspartner The Hacker wurde sie mit Tracks wie "1982" und "Frank Sinatra" weltbekannt, Kooperationen mit Felix Da Housecat, Sven Väth ("Je t'aime moi non plus"), Steve Bug und T.Raumschmiere machten sie zur gefragtesten DJane und Produzentin der Techno-Szene. Ihr drittes Soloalbum - nach "I Com" (2004) und "Batbox" (2007) - heißt "Calling From The Stars". Das Doppelalbum spricht sowohl den technoaffinen Hörer als auch den Indie-Pop-Fan an und teilt sich in eine poporientierte Platte und eine zweite, die eher von Ambient beeinflusst ist. Insgesamt wird Miss Kittin damit sowohl alte Fans als auch neue Hörer ansprechen. Dafür sprechen auch die potenziellen Singleauskopplungen: "Bassline" folgt einem Talk-Talk-Klavierlauf, der auf eine Depeche-Mode-Basslinie trifft, und so das Zeug zum Indie-Hit hat. "What To Wear" wiederum hat reichlich Radiopotenzial und wartet mit klassischen Popchören auf.
