Photosong recorded live at the Roundhouse and the original version of Hit Hit Flop Flop.

VERSION)

Model 500's influence on music arguably looms larger today then ever before, with a fresh wave of fascination coming from a new generation of electronic musicians and fans alike, who's lust for the innovative, original sounds of the first wave of Detroit Techno knows no bounds.
OFI has already received the remix treatment from two big guns of the R&S stable, Space Dimension Controller and Bullion, who both applied their unique touches to the original in the 2010 remix release, and now it's the turn of Apollo - with five new mixes coming from Sei A, Shadowchild, Synkro, Indigo and Colonel Red respectively.
These five interpretations, although starkly different from one another, act as a perfect showcase of the contemporary Apollo sound - from woozy opiate soundscapes to chugging small room gems via soulful electronic oddities and bright, driving dance floor bangers. To remix the work of a legend is never an easy task, but all five artists come through with flying colours and stamp their own trademark twist on what is already a contemporary classic.

To celebrate the rerelease of the three classic to rococo rot records on City Slang between 1997 and 2001, we have asked two friends and fans to rework their favourite tracks of these albums. Four Tet's Kieran Hebden chose the brooding minimal collage 'he loves me' from the bands 1997 archetypal release "veiculo" and, like a prism in singular beam of light, his remix reveals the songs true glistening content. Mute label founder and longtime to rococo rot afficionado Daniel Miller teamed up with London based producer Gareth Jones to give "cars", from the bands impeccable second album "the amateur view", a compassionate modification into a ... well, let"s call it a "Krautrock Disco Truck".

Little album teaser for Legowelts amazing new album The Paranormal Soul! Including 2 exclusive vinyl tracks, and a loud 12'' cutting of Rave Till Dawn.

It's only been two years since Mumbai Science appeared on the music radar but they've managed to leave an unquestionable impression. Their tracks Ancova, Gold and Lotus got the support from all the big shots such as Boys Noize, Tiga and Brodinski, sending them on a surge to the EDM top ranks. The 2012 release of 'The Unified Theory Trilogy' confirmed their musical prowess and now they return to the plate with 'Unite', a new beat inspired record.

Now this is what you can call great fun. Amidst all the numerous releases somewhere between funky house and uplifting disco arrives finally a record again that will reach consensus trans-cending genres. Already in April The White Lamp released their first 12" on British quality imprint Futureboogie. Back then nobody knew that this project consists of no one less than Darren Emerson (Ex-Underworld) and befriended singer Pete Josef from Bristol. This fact doesn't make "Make It Good" better. Because this is as good as it gets. At least if your intention is to bring a club to the point of ecstasy in the year 2012. The hypnotic bassline alone hits the bull's eye. But the way Josef's vocals make an anthem out of the track is classical dressage. And it's a matter of course that pro-producer Emerson provides an arrangement that simply just
works, everywhere and all the time.

Auflage für DE/AT/CH: 100 Stück

Swiss producer ECHO 106 who 1st appeared on the "MUSIC FROM MATHEMATICS VOL 7" release sees an EP with 4 outstanding tracks. The title track calls upon the spirits of Chicago's jack past & is followed by "COPY INS DEL", a deep acid filled cut. "FROM BRUNNEN TO THE NILE" & "WAKAME STRINGS" bang da flip

'Are you ready for a journey into the mind of a girl who's dedicated her heart to music', Fran asks daringly on 'May I Introduce Myself', the first song of her anticipated first solo LP, Frantastic. For those following contemporary electronic music, little introduction is necessary: the 33-year-old psychologist is known for her dreamy house collaborations with husband and producer/ DJ Oliver Koletzki, with whom she co-wrote hits such as 'Hypnotized' and the successful album Lovestoned. The time has, however, come for Fran to bare her musical self and let the wild desire to create run free. Far from the totalitarian fist of the major labels, Frantastic was born in complete autonomy with the help of newcomer producers Oded K.dar (MiMi Müller-Westernhagen / Eddy Stevens - Moloko) and Martin Seyer (Krabbz Soundsystem). The result is an impressively personal journey through the mind of an intelligent, emotionally rich songwriter, pitched against a diverse sonic backdrop of pop, electronica and folk. Literally exploding, the aforementioned opener bursts of colour and confidence. Here, Fran's uplifting lyrics ethereally flow over poppy electronica beats, climaxing in a chorus that proclaims 'If you believe you can do anything!' - a tongue-in-cheek mission statement Fran is clearly out to prove on Frantastic. 'Sunglasses' starts with a crunchy downbeat as Fran's mesmerising voice lyrically considers the tension between anonymity and exposure in celebrity culture, while the song peaks in a piano-driven chorus.

Sooner or later it had to come, and here we are: the cd celebrating the first ten years of the radio will be in stores from the end of October!Opportunity to introduce the new m2o logo, an evolution of that historic one, after 10 years gives way to one that reflects the growth of the network, but does not betray the nature. Especially for this special edition, which we called just m2o TEN YEARS we have created a multimedia product, not just a compilation...

German producer Vertical67 debuts on Lunar Disko Records, with a 10 consisting of 3 deep & dreamy tracks, crafted somewhere in Berlin. The uplifting 'In Space' covers the A-side with bright and protruding soundscapes, glistening like stars in a far away galaxy. The B-side opens up with 'Craic Memories', portraying a house groove throughout, yet still retaining an electro mood amongst some delicate and twinkling melodies. Finishing up the EP is the affectionate 'Mutuality', displaying adept drum programming alongside a lush female voice which rises sporadically above dreamy melancholic sounds and a soft brooding vox...

Limited pressing in hand-stamped sleeve. 300 copies only!
This 7 follows Slugabed's critically acclaimed debut album 'Time Team'. It features amazing vocals from Szjerdene (pronounced 'JhurDEEN'), who adds sweetness to the Slug Man's twittering electroid synths and digital bottom end on this skittering wonky-hop roller. And if you're not into the vocals (!), there's an instrumental on the flipside. The track enjoyed over 2500 plays in just two days on Slugabed's Soundcloud page

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs has today announced the release of much anticipated single 'Your Love' impacting October 29th, available on i-Tunes now, with the promise of another top grade remix package to follow, details TBA.
Coming in the wake of critically acclaimed debut album 'Trouble' and a string of Radio 1 playlisted singles, 'Your Love' is another uniquely brilliant dance record from Orlando Higginbottom (aka TEED).
The son of a music professor at Oxford University, Orlando has already had an incredible journey in a short space of time, working with the likes of Damon Albarn, Lady Gaga and Hot Chip, releasing his first few records with Joe Goddard's tastemaker dance label Greco-Roman.

Futuristic-funk starchild Jimmy Edgar returns with the third single to be taken form his recent album 'Majenta' out earlier this year on Hotlfush. This time Edgar shoves is free-spirited sexual appetite in your face, with a slice of stripped-down, upfront electro-funk complete with J.G. Ballard-inspired lyrics of car-crash sexual fetishism.Alongside the original album cut, two alternate takes are reworked by a pair of producers at the very top of their game: Jon Convex and John Talabot. Whilst Talabot creates an eerie and downright epic re-imagining through his combination of Amazonian electronics and volume manipulation, the Convex cut enhances the dance floor potential of the original with bubbling, arpeggiated 303 bass.

Limited Edition Vinyl & Digital of the long awaited Remixes II package of Joe Goddards 'Gabriel' feat. Valentina. This massive package is opened by another brilliant Drum n Bass interpretation from Calibre. Rolling soulful Cailbre at his best. Hammered by big players such as Marcus Intalex, DJ Friction, Fabio & Hype. It also includes of course the much talked about Soulwax Remix which actually was a late xmas present from the Deweale bros to Joe and which has been championed by the likes of Erol Alkan, Rob da Bank & Riton. Finally we have a funktastic version from The Aston Shuffle complete with that calypso feeling. DJ support. Marcus Intalex, Friction, Fabio, Hype, Zane Lowe, Rob da Bank, Annie Mac, Kissy Sellout , Toddla T, Mistajam, John Kennedy, Eddy Temple Morris, Erol A, Boys Noize, Riton, Tayo. Groove Armada.

Berlin is multi-colored, multi-cultural and loud. Berlin is everything you want, if you want it. A city, which satisfies the autonomic needs of its citizens by offering enough space to drift away. You can find the big love here, as you can get lost in the endless nights. Nights, which dictate a communal 4/4-heartbeat and let you forget about everything. This untouched romance is one of the reasons, why Berlin evolved into a world-wide hotspot for electronic music in the last 20 years. The worlds best DJs shake hands at the airport, the most interesting releases are recorded in the local studios and the very well-known booking agencies, clubs and labels are only a few steps away from each other. Thanks to this network, we can host the Berlin Music Days (BerMuDa) for the third time. To bear this international festival in mind, we prepared a compilation, which lightens every facet of our colorful city as a double-CD: 'Day' and 'Night' - always a love-hate relationship. The day-edition underlines every pre- or after-hour with atmospheric tracks from Solomun, Materik, DeWalta, Fritz Kalkbrenner and many more. The night-time equivalent unfolds the dark pull of Berlins clubs with sounds from Elle

The forthcoming release adds another notch to what s been an impressive and prolific year for Funkineven, closely following that all-conquering Fatima collaboration Phone Line'and the Funkinevil record produced with Kyle Hall. The two track on it make for a stylistic about-turn from the TV theme funk of the last Apron release (and artwork of the year contender) Chips & Sweets, Dracula is the kind of stuttering 303 acid jam FunkinEven is an expert of, reminiscent of the brilliant Rolands Jam, while Cha! is a loose-limbed slice of proto-techno which goes heavy on the unfiltered analogue bass, driven forward with lolloping drum machine beats. Released on red coloured vinyl, the look & sound for a perfect horror movie soundtrack !!!

New single 'Professional Griefers', released on August 14th, sits on the tougher end of deadmau5's productions and features Gerard Way on vocals. Other collaborations include 'Channel 42' with Wolfgang Gartner, 'Telemiscommincations' with Imogen Heap, recent single 'The Veldt' featuring Chris James and 'Failbait' featuring legendary hip-hop outfit Cypress Hill. deadmau5, who recently headlined the Wireless Festival in London, returns to the UK to perform at Creamfields in Cheshire August 26th and has been confirmed on the bill for this year's iTunes Festival September 9th. Initial copies of the album CD feature a lenticular cover.

Previously only available as part of his subscription 12' series 'Mixed Fortunes', these two 12's heralds the first original material from Rory Phillips, following a 7 year run of well received remixes for the indie and dance elite, played by everyone from A Trak to DJ Harvey.
Named to reflect the stylistic range of the series, Mixed Fortunes channels the same spirit of musical adventure heard in both Phillips's remix work and in his genre-hopping DJ sets, with tracks both by Phillips alone in his well stocked analogue studio as well as some undertaken with a range of top secret collaborators.
This first digital release combines the first two 12's in one package, which ranges from arpeggiated disco (Chamber Music), through robot punk (Factor 50) and acid house (Cosmic Fluff), ending in Carpenter-esque suspense (Mover) while staying true to Rory's trademark sound, which he has showcased across Europe, Asia, the USA and South America this year alone.DJ Support has come from right across the board: Including, Erol Alkan, 2ManyDJs, Aeroplane, Prins Thomas, Brodinski, Headman, The Magician, Daniel Avery, Danny Daze, Mighty Mouse, Classixx, Punks Jump Up, Joakim, and Jacques Renault.
