Comet Traxx is the new label of Swiss prolific producer Mirko Loko, best known for his musical output on Cadenza, Visionquest and Memento Records.
This new imprint is focused on cosmic grooves, with the aim to release quality timeless material.
The first release on the label is the stunning 'Twin Bang' album by the label honchos, Mirko Loko, delivering a modern sophisticated record with a very classic feeling, rich of collaborations with heavyweight musicians as Derrick May and Ursula Rucker. For the next chapters of these astral tales, we can expect a spontaneous organic blend of electronic genres joined with a galactic touch: releases are not going to come only by Mirko himself, but from interesting newcomers, as well as veterans as Guido Schneider who is in scheduled on the second catalogue number.

TWIN BANG - COMET TRAXX - 001:

"Twin Bang" is Mirko Loko third album, the first own on his own label Comet Traxx, and proudly host collaboration with Detroit Techno legend Derrick May, Philadelphia singer Ursula Rucker and the French/Italian duo Moody Preachers.
The Swiss producer has crafted with attention and devotion a pleasant collection of dance oriented tunes, charming and seductive
The opening track "Desuresction" (feat. Moody Preachers) is a slow and tripping rhythmic of the spectral envelopes exploration of a pitched down haunting voice.
"Mind Over Matter" is a faster elegant dancefloor track devised on rich harmonics stab, while "Mentors Heritage is an ethereal, romantic, space trip guided by the abysmal sexy voice of Derrick May. A classic 707 Chicago influenced drum programming gives swing to "Pylus Pylons System" and its vintage computers sequences and bleeps just before the stripped down synths progression on Ursula Rucker's touching spoken word of "It's like", where the percussion behind become dense as Ursula's mystical voice gets more and more evocative.
The dramatic tension of the album reaches a climax with the long
building "Astral Travelers", and as the beats get tight, "Les Champ des Possibles" maintain an hypnotic state with an acidic arpeggio
Finally, "Les Beaux Jours" discharge serenity and composure over delightful melodies and laid back whispers.

What Recordings present their new release the M-EP (What03)
with the original tracks - Muzic' and - Mentiv'.After the What members and label owners Tobi Neumann and Patrick Ense released their first two EPs in 2017 they had earlier this year already a highly respected release - What you doing'" in collaboration with Dorian Paic and legendary singer Eric D'Clark on Arno Einzelkind's imprint La Peña. They went back to their studio and came out with this two little gems. The track - Muzic" was already played by Ricardo Villalobos on several festivals during this summer.

Three electro powerhouses join forces and take on remixing honors for Kadebostany's melancholic summer ballad "Mind If I Stay". Leader of Republic Kadebostany, the main artist has previously channeled his output on labels such as Freude Am Tanzen or Fenou, a sublabel of Dapayk's skillful producer Mo's Ferry. Ensnared by the compelling vocals, the artists take it on as the focal point in their arrangements, each in their own unique and memorable style.


Berlin's Sebastian Doering aka lovebirds signs a glistening, disco-infused reiteration, stripping down Rhita Natta's vocals and focusing on a deep and playful layering. What results is a glitch-tinged highly melodic piece that's perfect for warm sunny days.

Hailing from Dortmund and bringing in his modern house Ruhr sound, Kittball's Ante Perry serves up a light-filled exploration, channeling airy pads and dreamy atmospheres.

Known for his instrumental-driven productions, Cocolino label chief SIS offers up an intricately deep journey laced with wispy strings and mellifluous chords.

The Silverlining series continues its output of deep, underground body music with this three tracker that features the sought-after 'Invisible Ink' track from his Reverberations days, 'Lessons in Jerboa', a brand new tracky modular frenzy, a re-edit of his track from the Mirai compilation, and closing off with 'Devotion', a previously unreleased melodic ambient track created for his friends' wedding in 1996.

Rotate's first release as a vinyl imprint comes as a collective sonic statement of seven chapters. With tracks from all the music crafters of the family, Rotate starts the year with steady momentum, in a collection of different-yet-unified sound that combines wit, fresh attitude and unique musical signatures.

Makcim & Levi Verspeek cut the ribbon with peculiar focus on groove, and a sizzling atmosphere to match. Their 'Chickens Night Out' (A1) works as a cradle for slowly building albeit steady dancefloor motions, without ever forgetting the balance that the use of intertwined warm tones can actually create. Mattia Lapucci grabs the gears of the (already moving) train and keeps it rotating with 'External' (A2), adding tips and bits of steady beat programming, joyful chords and filtered, unspoken vocals to a galactic sonic cauldron.

Gua Camole kicks the flip-side with 'Drop Out' (B1), a 4 by 4 excursion to a land of hypnotic rhythms, eerie synth pads and unrecognizable vocal samples that ultimately feed a atmosphere of already great mystery and idiosyncratic acid patterns. 'Tournikottipannacotta' (B2) is David Gluck's take on drum-machine experimentalism and full-toned low-ends in full effect, reminiscent of the early 00's signature micro-house movement where microscopic sample-cutting and shuffled hi-hats were all the rage.

Cleymoore's 'Endless Rotation' (C1) is a 15-minute journey through startling soundscapes, sweltering synths and his endemic, hand-shifted drum arrangements. Dialogues from a obscure french cult movie ebb and flow throughout the entire arrangement along with Photonz's pulsating synths, ultimately setting a hypnotic, provocative tone to the second record.

Loopdeville opens the last side of the compilation with 'Humo' (D1), a pulsating, almost cardiac low-end arrangement of kicks and bass stabs that rumble beneath a palette of warm chords and shamanic, humming vocals for pure mental thrill. Andrea Cichecki's 'Tethys' (D2) finishes Rotate's seven-part story with a fine exercise on sonic delirium and total loss of equanimity. Between the warm, yet slightly lunatic tone of her modular system melodies and soundscapes, there's a discerning attitude and sharp poise in her drum arrangements, as if making people dance while lost in time and space would be possible. And it is, they keep rotating.

Toxic is the name of the first lamp, in a series of more to come, on the cover made by Remy the Feyter - glass blower artist. The tracks are composed by Dieter Vorderhake and are a natural inspiration of 20 years of techno influence. Liroconite and Cornubite are natural stones with the same colors as the lamp, hence the names of the tracks. Tingeling, the name of the third track, is a Dutch word which will translate itself more or less into a ding-dong sound. This sound is one of the prominent sounds in the track which announces a change in the track. It is inspired on the sound the metro doors make in Amsterdam when they close. The metro is ready to continue its journey... so is the song.

Adult Contemporary have always focused on meticulous production and manufacturing throughout the catalog history. This time no different in that regard, but the approach seems to have crossed over to the visual aspect of their ninth release, a glorious offering introducing artist Invisibleland, as well as, a dazzling cover illustration synchronizing the entire package.
The headlining lead track is astonishing itself. 'Six months of no rain' is a way of life in L.A. come every September which is when this multi-dimensional masterpiece lands.

Following 2014's well received album for Third Ear under his :Brownstudy alias, 'Life Well Lived', Jason Hogans steps away from the mic to focus on an LP of flawless instrumentals. Hogans seamlessly combines strains of house, jazz and hip hop, as well as the futurist bass pioneered by the likes of LA's Brainfeeder collective, throughout seven perfectly formed musical excursions. An artist as versatile as Alex Krüger is a rare find these days, not only did he release numerous EP's and albums as Tigerskin or Korsakow since the mid 90s, he's also been on the forefront of the 'Dub Techno' movement since 1999 with outings on classic labels such as 'Raum...Musik", 'Force Tracks' and '3B/ United States of Mars". Now ten years after his last album on 'Opossum Recordings' Alex is back with this well crafted genre bending full length 'Caves & Cages". From deep techno cuts through rippling ambient excursions to funky reggae infused live jams with Haushausen this work is yet another milestone in the creative bubble Alex lives in (i.e. his studio). A predominantly analogue producer, Alex recorded most sounds for 'Caves & Cages' on his modular synths and vintage gear at Organic Domain during 2017 and early 2018. Throughout the album tension ebbs and flows effortlessly via syncopated subs, analogue improvisation, subtle chord stabs and sustained swells interspersed with textured field and home recordings. The ambient opener 'Intra' sets the tone for the album. Rich with alien atmospheres, distant soundscapes, out of reach voices and licks of live instruments dug up from numerous recordings dating back as far as 30 years, even before Alex started his electronic journey. The sojourn ventures deeper from there. Subaquatic dub techno is the mood on 'King's Cave", 'Helix' and 'In Air' only surfacing ever so slightly for moments of clarity where shimmering tops and glistening synth lines shed some light on the steady grooves. The tracks 'Future History' and 'Transition State CIV' border on deep house territory.

Moon Harbour is delighted to announce the Autumn 2016 release of Momentum, the second full length album
from label boss Matthias Tanzmann. Arriving eight years after his debut LP Restless, the outstanding follow-up
impressively demonstrates that his artistic restlessness has not been decreasing over the last couple of years.
On the contrary, Momentum undoubtedly proves once more that Matthias' impact on the scene is still steadily
growing with an end not in sight and that his efforts to advance are ever moving forward.
Recent times have found Matthias having huge success via fruitful collaborations with the likes of Martin
Buttrich, Davide Squillace and Daniel Stefanik, amongst others, but now back on his own and more energetic
than ever, he is firing on all cylinders as a solo artist. Loosely rooted in a variety of house styles, Momentum
shows a subtle return to some of Tanzmann's earliest musical roots. Just as Matthias declares himself, It is stuff
to listen to at home, stuff I like to listen to away from the club', before adding that, of course, it also contains
tracks that are 100% what I love playing in my DJ sets.'
The ten track release is an impulsive and emotionally moving affair that offers a fantastic snapshot into the
current musical mind of the artist. With a process initially starting during his times abroad in Thailand and South
America, this most coherent and complete album has been slowly coming together over the last five years. In
customary manner, the album is quite different to a normal EP from the German producer, given that it features
plenty of deeper and more cerebral moments than most of his past works.
With a perfect mixture between listening pleasure and pure dancefloor material, Momentum contains tracks
ranging from deep and broody house style with warm pads streaming over infectious drums to serene and
atmospheric jams with real funk in their bones. Next to more downtempo sultry house vibes, the harder, more
freaky tunes will get floors bumping with their punchy drums, wiggling synths, drilling bass and loopy vocal
sounds. With more soul infused party grooves rounding up the experience, the release truly brings along the
whole range of carefully plotted ups and downs necessary for casting the listener under a hypnotic and heartfelt
spell of house music.

The album will be celebrated with a worldwide release tour from October to December 2016, highlighting once
more that only a few have the exact same sense of electronic music artistry as this man does.

This year we got 100 releases , we never though that we will arrive so long with the label and also enjoying it as much as we do releasing all cain of artists and music always close to our Minimalistic mental sound. So to celebrate this number hundred we will release 2 vinyl one now and a second one at the end of the year ,beginning of next one having inside some of the artists that have released with us. The release will be a full Vinyl only with no digital release or promo. If you want it you get it in this format. Between the artists for this first one Bolumar , Juan Zolbaran together with Deep Mariano and label boss Eddy Romero. We hope this one makes you feel where we will go next year with our ten years of the label.

This mirror-like musical progression starts with lots of dynamics and harmonies which then continue with a more sonically tranquil section while heading towards a dynamic ending, thus completing the symmetry and binding both parts in a seamless album.
