House Vinyl New Releases - News

Red Rack'em enters the warm embrace of RAMP with his latest 12 inch - Chirpsin / All Alone. Red Rack'em has been honing his skills over the past few years with a handful of singles on his own Bergerac label, which have been strongly supported by the RAMP office. As bass music has evolved, Rack'em's dubby, druggy take on house music has become more and more relevant - the signing to RAMP seemed fitting. Expect another 12' and an album over the coming months.

BillyonAir back on the 'Main' Labels. After his melodic Release on Mainrecords in 2011 Billy now delivered some dub-influenced Technotracks. We start with 'Flying North". Cold and Spheric sounds are combined in this Song but with the right amount of melodies. On A2 Martin Woerner remixed 'Where am I". A nice pumping track which will hit the dance floors. On B1 we have 'Klain Main' - Strange chord-sounds meets nice grooves is the best way to discribe it. And last but not least the Original of 'Where am I' which goes in the same direction like 'Flying North' - deep melodic Dub-Techno. For the Digital lovers we have another (stripped down) Version of 'Flying North' and a supercool Remix of 'Where am I' by our buddies Pascal Feos & Frank Leicher. Release comes in green-coloured Vinyl.

Schallbox inaugurates the Open-Air season and by doing so unmistakably calls out for a dance! The high spirits of the party held for its tenth release is still in everboby's mind - and the blaze is still burning! Yet team Schallbox around Steve Cole follows up by presenting Space Night astronaut, Saafi Brother and sound design artist Gabriel Le Mar with the spherically driving and playfully dreamy track "Deep Red Guitar". The unmistakable style of Gabriel enriches the spectrum of the Basel based recording label, yet fits perfectly its flow of exceptional club music for body and mind. The original version invites you to an expedition through an acoustic landscape composed of a smooth piano and a levitating guitar, through which a stream of ever changing and interacting rhythm and bass elemtents paves its way. Surprisingly the A-side is complemented by a remix by Julius Lagerfeld. After a long absence he ties in at the same spot he left five years ago with his remix of Chris Zippel on Elektrolux. Atmospherically true to the original, he subordinates everything to a swinging shuffle groove, that
gets intersected by an atmospherically appealing break - just to bring all drifted spirits back down to the dance floor after this. The second side is openend by beat pharmacist Brendon Moeller with a hypnotically pounding interpretation, whose continuing chordplay is being carried by a deep and warm bassline. The finale is being served by Smalltown Collective: a swim in a pool of artificial waves, in a body of flowing water with the irresistible pull of an embankment turbine. Percussive and tonal elements are being joined to form a whole, which invites to dance and at the same time to dive in and engross. As usual with Schallbox, there is a consolation for all those who have to do without the high grade black gold and will sidestep to the digital alternative - and the consolation this time turns out to be especially rewarding:

Nicholas Bussmann has shed his skin once again, now transforming into Nicholas Desamory to release "like you" - a House album of such warmth and rough elegance, it will leave the scene all excited. House has always been an open genre, allowing to sample, adapt and incorporate other styles.

Hamburg residents Jakob Seidensticker and Bardia Salour, together known as Seidensticker & Salour are hardly newcomers to the scene. Jakob has been producing music as one third of the internationally known Wareika, and Bardia has made a name for himself through playing regularly amongst the Hamburg club circuit. The two of them have come together in 2010 to release EPs on labels like VoidCom, Einmaleins, and URSL. The boys now host a regular event dubbed 'Dance For Fans' at Hamburg's most prestigious venue, the EGO club, and with impressive lists of guests to say the least. The two share a love for minimal / dub Techno that is evident in their productions as well as their DJ sets. They keep the vibe easy, chill, and relaxed. They have a knack for creating intricate music that is easy to understand and more importantly, easy to enjoy. 'Welcome To Our Ageing Chamber", their debut for WIR is a wonderful illustration of their talent. They have kept the soundscape free from overwhelming textures and effects, leaving room for each instrument. The piano in 'Golden Times' is a perfect example. Each element fits, as if they have been producing together for years.

Italian DJ and producer Slok is no stranger to Circle Music. In 2010 he released his great album "Rain" on Circle Music after the previous released releases "Funky Finger" and "Freak" in 2009. In 2011 he followed up a release on Circle Music, "Rocco's Hard Scene" incl. a stunning remix by Hermanez ,followed. For his first single in 2012 Slok, he invited brothers in crime "My Favourite Robot" aka Voytek Korab, James Teej and Jared Simms from Canada to sing the vocals. Lately these three guys had a release on Life And Death and were remixed by Art Department. On Top of this nice package we have Subb-An who had a few releases on Damian Lazaru's Crosstown Rebels or Culprit with several hits and finally label mate Lopazz from Berlins Get Physical together with his film producer CasioCasino.

3 amazing next level remixes from 3 of the hottest producers on the block! Remixes by Mr.C, Jordan Lieb, and Mikael

When it comes to and strikes you, it works. This is the only thing that rules Only300 Family's sound, an EDM label born in Milan in the end of 2011.Tech house with no strings attached is the reference point to start from and experiment with, together with the diverse influences of a genre in progress. Our musical research - coming from only300(milan) staff vision - goes beyond ideological bounds between means of production: no matter if it's digital or analogue, the point is the emotion behind the sound, even if it comes to your legs, heart or brain.O300F sees flying high records - not just dance floor/club/listening oriented - and it thinks that labels are just gilded cages.

have you ever played Jokari You definitely should!

Swedish producer Hakan Ludvigson's teams up with PurePureMusic Records, delivering a unique, amazing melodic 3-track deep house EP. Two children of 35 tired of life, indecisive if they should commit suicide or continue to produce boring and repetivie music. In the end the boring and repetitive pusic wins - perhaps because making house music is the best way to feel alive!

Excellent, atmospheric Deep House EP

After a string of successful collaborations and remixes - including an ace one one of ours, Nicolas Jaar's 'Space Is Only Noise', we are delighted to present Dave Aju's sophomore album, Heirlooms.
It's always exciting to hear new music from Mr. Aju, as he consistently offers a fresh approach to the usual dance music formulas with an undeniable sense of soul and singular artistry. This is especially true on his new album, where Aju has really outdone himself with his most diverse, expressive, and personal work to date. Crafted with vintage recordings and instruments inherited from his late father, Aju taps into his roots and musical background more than ever on Heirlooms, taking us on a ten-song journey through past and present influences and a variety of moods, from proper heartfelt tributes to spaced-out bliss and straight-up funk.

3 Years representing Vienna underground music. Hello TC Studio & Vid, welcome back Matthias Meyer...

You may be heard of a town called Kassel, a label called bespmusic, a infamous Club called A.R.M.,

Kassel / Germany in the early 90ies. After spinning the wheels for over ten years know, Zoka
founded the label bespmusic in 2009 and holds a residency at the infamous A.R.M. for years there.
Now it´s time for him to release Catalouge-No. 5 on his own imprint bespmusic named - 'Pasted
Arguments'. The EP is a classical three tracker and contains some dancefloor bombs as well as a
deeply rooted peace of Soul. This one, the title track - Pasted Arguments is a slowmo burning deep
house with a bubbling bassline, some fine balanced snares and claps as well as a piano licks synth-
cloud which makes ya feel like Vanilla Sky. B1 - Marvin, is totally oriented to the party crowd. The

Hauschkas first releases of 2012 come in the form of two stunning remix 12s that are pitched at the dancefloor and kick off a wider project of reinterpretations of his last full-length. Following Mays initial release (featuring mixes by Ricardo Villalobos & Max Loderbaur and Michael Mayer), EP2 sees another two hugely influential artists tackling the source material and combining to form a staggering 12 of immersive, visceral techno. This second vinyl-only EP runs in advance of a full album of electronically-angled Salon Des Amateurs remixes, which have been commissioned from a selection of producers - including the likes of Matthew Herbert, Vladislav Delay, Alva Noto, Ricardo Villalobos & Max Loderbauer, Patten, and Michael Mayer. Both Steve Bicknell and Vainqueur are very old friends of FatCat and little short of legendary names in the techno genre. London-based Bicknell is co-curator of the seminal, scene-defining Lost nights, which date back to the early 90s, where luminaries such as Jeff Mills, Basic Channel, Richie Hawtin, Suburban Knight, and Robert Hood gained their first ever UK bookings (and where FatCat founder Alex Knight frequently appeared as DJ). A close ally of Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins and Laurent Garnier, Bicknell also runs a number of labels, including Lost Recordings and Cosmic. His brilliant reinterpretation of Tanzbein is a dark, pounding, floor-friendly track that drives on a rotor-flicker and a deep kick-pulse and coats everything in a pumping, viscous, bass-ooze. Berlin-based René Löwe, under his moniker/alias Vainqueur, was a key player in the Hardwax shop/scene of the early 90s (back in the days when FatCat itself was a pioneering electronic record store, with the two shops closely linked, regularly trading records and ideas) and cemented his place in the pantheon of classic techno with several releases on the Chain Reaction imprint, as well as being one of the very few artists to appear on Basic Channel. Der Sommer ist da. Er riecht nach Holzkohle, Gras und Sonnencreme. Er zeigt nackte
Haut und blitzendes Lächeln. Er schmeckt nach Erdbeereis und kaltem Bier. Und er

Remixes from the acclaimed debut album 'Dollar Mambo - Melodivia'. Support by Luciano, Jackmate, Cesare vs Disorder, M.A.N.D.Y., Danny Tenaglia, Andrew Grant, Ron Shiller, Claudio Coccoluto, Terry Francis, Beaner and many others Dollar Mambo's 'Rounds Around' is a collection of remixes from tracks taken from the highly acclaimed debut album 'Melodivia' which was released in late 2011. It features remixes by Shadi Megallaa, Lump a.k.a Arttu (Soulphiction), Mr. Kaizen, who just released 'Tooth Of Wisdom' on Nice Try, and Sarna. Dollar Mambo is super-skilled, free of fear, bedazzled with hellish funkyness, or simply the man to convince you that jazz has the last word in the realm of the four-to-the-floor. Not for nothing, Stéphan Perrinjaquet has soaked up all that jazz, soul and blues from years of drooling at notorious performances at that festival. Rumours even uphold that once a glimmer shone on Miles' trumpet, and tinker-bell-wise zigzagged through that concert hall only to blind young Stéphan: to forever bind him onto his future path of clubby, eccentric playfulness. Ah, the
prophetic joys of music! You can bet your dollar on that mambo

Grey Series, an offshot of the already well established M_Rec Ltd., aims at celebrating the reclusiveness of techno, its core ideas, its attitudes and its most recent mutations. Traditions that while remaining, have allowed today's artists to conceive uncompromising and exciting sounds.
Its first release sees Juho Kahilainen explore dark and glacial territories.
"Epilogue " is the end of the darkest set, with its sinister piano moving slowly on a set of digital sounds meant to shut off any source of light. "We Heard it Coming" enhances stripped down techno with echoes of what seems to be field recordings from an unexplored locations. "Rotko " dims the light down with its flirty, crepuscular details. Acid and irresistible, it's a trip that carries you on and on. "The Less We Try " takes a dramatic turn, where a beat that pays tribute to acid sounds encounter a martial soundwave and its tense and dooming melody.
Grey Series is dedicated to everyone who lives techno today, who recognizes that there's a whole array of possibilities to explore, away from whatever the dancefloor requires.

This is a limited edition of special vinyl released by Russian label KOLOKOL. Release doesn't need any special presentation, because it contains a number of great tracks, remixed Babak Shayan, Paduraru, Jussi Pekka, Nikola Gala.
