House Vinyl New Releases - News

'Cut Me Down' was the bi-product of this year's IMS Conference in Ibiza where Sasha was assumed the honour of creating the 2011 IMS Anthem in conjunction with Burn Studios. The track was then handed over to Layo & Bushwacka for the masterclass in remixing. Their stunning mix appears on the flipside with full L&B signature riffs, basslines and bouncy drums.
Sasha's first vocal track in over 10 years features the haunting vocals of New York based Swedish vocalist, Krister Linder over Sasha's hypnotic blend of epic, mind bending drums, gentle arpeggiators, combined with solid bass lines which forms this extremely worthy return to production on his new label, Last Night On Earth. This release also marks a return for Sasha in solo production mode. On previous releases including Coma, Who Killed Sparky, and the legendary Involver reworkings, Sasha has been working with his collective of Charlie May, Duncan Forbes and Barry Jamieson, however with time well spent on his own in his New York studio, Sasha has created this summer masterpiece.

'Last Night On Earth' will be Sasha's home for supporting exciting new electronic music talent and his new solo productions. Yes, there will be more to come, and as ever, the wait is most certainly worthwhile.

"Smooh's Raisin Theory", her debut for Dissonant, is the first of tINI's new productions and whilst the freshness of a new moment is evident in this funk driven number, her youth as a drummer and the early influences of a certain Moodymann, can all be heard in the warm rhythms of the original.

Visky Recordings is a Prague based label reflecting the love for house and good records.
Expect anything but no bad music from artists we appreciate in their work.

Parquet Recordings look to kick start 2012 in full throttle. As they look to the future, they also have one eye on the past as they revisit one of their most successful releases to date, Gui Boratto's 2006 smash "Paralelo," and deliver three fresh new reworks on what will be the label's 40th Vinyl release. Leading from the front is none other than Parquet label chief, SOLEE. Coming off the back of a successful 2011 which has seen him remix artists including Nick Warren, Cafe Negro, Slideshow Park and Tom Novy. Paying tribute to the emotional original, SOLEE bathes us in layers of warm synths and spine-tingling percussion. Next up is one of 2011's brightest stars, Der Turnbeutel label chief OLIVER SCHORIES. His emotive and powerful productions have seen release on the likes of Darkroom Dubs, Ostwind, Voltage Musique and of course Parquet. Oliver's mix of "Paralelo" is a perfect cinematic soundtrack, complete with mysterious orchestral break and and thunderous final third. Superb. Rounding out the package is fellow german BOSS AXIS, who takes "Paralelo" on a wonderfully warm and elegant trip. Deep, smooth and uplifting its the perfect winter warmer.

a strong minimal techno house bomb !!!

Mathias Bradler is a new face on micro.fon but not new to the game. Under his full name, he delivers exactly the deep and dark techno sound we are looking for. A strong collection of deep, dubby and bass-driven technojourneys, based on minimalistic soundscapes and dry patterns. On remix duties we got the infamous Pawn Shop People, known for their 12inch, recently released on Stylerockets LTD. They added percussion and funk to the original and turned it into a essential dj-tool, which guarantees full impact on the floor.Early support by Richie Hawtin, DVS1, Rapha Dincsoy & Slam

Stylishly launching their 'All Day I Dream' imprint last month with the double header from Audiofly and themselves, label chiefs Matthew Dekay & Lee Burridge step up to the plate again on 002 with another slice of beautiful orchestrated house. Taking inspiration from Lee's "All Day I Dream Of Her" DJ Mix, whilst also giving a nod to the likes of Kollektiv Turmstrasse, "Für Die Liebe melts your heart while still making you wiggle your hips.

supported by: Laurent Garnier, Patrick Bateman, Tony Rohr, Phil Kieran, Butch, Andrew Grant and more. FVF's first signing and one of the signature sounds of the label, Albert Dros, aka Reagen or Sjaakflut, releases FVF's first 12" of 2012 with the Searchlight EP. Under his various aliases Albert has seen releases on Leftroom, Sk Supreme, Monocline, Front and many more. His basslines and production speak very much for themselves and he opens his account for 2012 with a release aimed firmly at packed dance floors and peak hours. The 12" also sees Valencian duo Attemporal on remix duties. Attemporal released their Retrolight EP on FVF with Clement Meyer on remix in late 2011. Having clocked up releases on labels like TicTacToe, Resopal Schallware and Sleaze we are delighted to have them back in the FVF fold and on top form again.

The Deepness enterprise continues: Cologne artist ZIGGY KINDER is renowned for his distinct and crystal clear minimal funk, but already in 2007 he created his own personal parallel house universe with "Que Pasa Maria" on Souvenir Records. Since then he has systematically worked his way into the soul of his machines and cut back on speed and actions. First highlight of this development was his slowmo slapbass slammer "Assbomb", though his second new album "Barboom" takes deepness and moodiness considerably further. Instead of satisfying mainstream tastes trying to attract attention with common sounds and samples, Kinder returns to a wholesome "less is more" without being pigeonholed as purely minimal. He confidently leans back for he has found his perfect spot: "Barboom" is cool house, club, party, outside-the-box while being a comfy-groovy home in the swirl of triviality. The album will be available on CD, as a download and a four-track vinyl EP. Also watch out online for two snazzy videos: in his clip for "Meteoroid" a meteorite uses its magic forces to seduce a Cologne Carnival group into surreal midnight dancing. The super cool "Barboom" video features a liquid erotic dance cocktail of water and ink, which was not computer-animated but completely filmed and edited!

This is also the fourth (of five) manually colored limited and numbered vinyl editions.

what a nice track recorded in a small small french town beside the sea !!!

The time has come to welcome Jacob Korn from the Uncanny Valley in Dresden to the Mild Pitch camp. We've been eager to work out an EP with Jacob since his amazing live appearance at our label's first anniversary party in 2010 and at last, IT is here!

As the so-called independent, underground club music scene continues to self-police with market trends, unconsciously mimicking the mainstream music industry's demise, we try our best to ignore these unwritten rules and to take risks with unexpected output. In the T-Bet tradition, our latest 12" brings the first collaborative release from two established artists: Gabriele Carasco and Angelina Yershova, who offer the intricate, slowly unfolding Beyond Colors EP. Italian born, Zurich-based DJ/producer Carasco has already released a handful of solo EPs, most recently on Andre Crom's OFF Recordings. Meanwhile, Kazakhstani-born, Rome-based Yershova has a more academic background, having brought her experimental performances to festivals throughout Europe and North America. Does this mean suede elbow patches will become the new club fashion trend for 2012 We do hope this EP paves the way for more reflective moments on the dancefloor....

As in your face as its title suggest POW! is a mind blowing disco rave anthem that hooks you in with its thumping bass from the first beat. POW! combines forward thinking production with nostalgic electro flourishes, whirring high-powered rhythms and throbbing bass that all head in one direction, the dancefloor.

Apartment Record's 2nd release comes from Ireland's analogue-obsessed soul assassins, Tr One. On the A-side, Drum Dance is a fusion of beatdown with a minimal techno aesthetic, creating a hypnotic journey through the duo's machines.

Mule electronic happy to start 2011 with this fantastic new artist "benedikt frey".

CocoonClub-Resident SKAI and label scenery darling M.In acclaimed for his work on labels like Loco Dice's Desolat and OFF join the Circus Records family with the release of their Mediterranean flavoured Ultima Tromba EP. The release sets off a new era reviving the label itself in cooperation with Darmstadt based club Magenta, SKAI's home for his monthly event Re:Fresh. With a stunning original gaining early support from the likes of Alex Flatner and Mark Reeve the EP is backed with three remixes. Whilst Dragosh serves us with a reduced version of the original in his hailed Desolat style, Remerc's approach finalises with a Tech-House bomb in the way his recent productions on labels such as Trapez or OFF jar the dancefloors. Label-head Mikel closes the package with an accentuated make-over of the original version representing the House heads on this EP.
