House Vinyl New Releases - News

the big alltime classics by phil fuldner !!!
now repressed in the original sleeve !!!

Now this is what you can call great fun. Amidst all the numerous releases somewhere between funky house and uplifting disco arrives finally a record again that will reach consensus trans-cending genres. Already in April The White Lamp released their first 12" on British quality imprint Futureboogie. Back then nobody knew that this project consists of no one less than Darren Emerson (Ex-Underworld) and befriended singer Pete Josef from Bristol. This fact doesn't make "Make It Good" better. Because this is as good as it gets. At least if your intention is to bring a club to the point of ecstasy in the year 2012. The hypnotic bassline alone hits the bull's eye. But the way Josef's vocals make an anthem out of the track is classical dressage. And it's a matter of course that pro-producer Emerson provides an arrangement that simply just
works, everywhere and all the time.

Here comes 6th Volume of this massive serie. Michael Procter, Dj Mfr, Trafic, Ralf Gum... Great names for a big product!!! Including 3 previously unreleased tracks !!!

Sooner or later it had to come, and here we are: the cd celebrating the first ten years of the radio will be in stores from the end of October!Opportunity to introduce the new m2o logo, an evolution of that historic one, after 10 years gives way to one that reflects the growth of the network, but does not betray the nature. Especially for this special edition, which we called just m2o TEN YEARS we have created a multimedia product, not just a compilation...

Another Purple Music Club Banger Allstar Edition....

Berlin is multi-colored, multi-cultural and loud. Berlin is everything you want, if you want it. A city, which satisfies the autonomic needs of its citizens by offering enough space to drift away. You can find the big love here, as you can get lost in the endless nights. Nights, which dictate a communal 4/4-heartbeat and let you forget about everything. This untouched romance is one of the reasons, why Berlin evolved into a world-wide hotspot for electronic music in the last 20 years. The worlds best DJs shake hands at the airport, the most interesting releases are recorded in the local studios and the very well-known booking agencies, clubs and labels are only a few steps away from each other. Thanks to this network, we can host the Berlin Music Days (BerMuDa) for the third time. To bear this international festival in mind, we prepared a compilation, which lightens every facet of our colorful city as a double-CD: 'Day' and 'Night' - always a love-hate relationship. The day-edition underlines every pre- or after-hour with atmospheric tracks from Solomun, Materik, DeWalta, Fritz Kalkbrenner and many more. The night-time equivalent unfolds the dark pull of Berlins clubs with sounds from Elle

MOTHER RECORDINGS
In the heart of Berlin, at the foot of the Kreuzberg, we founded Mother Recordings, a record label full of warmth, home to artists whose hearts beat for the true house and disco sound, full of passion and love for the music. We think a label should be more than the name on a cover. That is why the same sweat and lifeblood we leave in the clubs of Berlin, of Germany, and the rest of the world is now fueling Mother Recordings.

Our little family of ambitious music maniacs is standing at the beginning, innocent still in our infancy, ready to fearlessly set off on a big adventure. Why Because we know she will be there for us, the mother, her arms wide open, offering protection - Mother Recordings stands behind us with this special mother's love that is made to last forever.

Sonny Fodera man of the moment comes up with these 2 jacking house re edits - jump on it

For the first time and only limited this massive remake is appearing on vinyl - soulfully sung and deep as the atlantic ocean - tech meets deep disco -stomping and powerful - made for the dancefloors of this modern world - over 9 million hits on you tube - this is a seller - stock up

Harry Axt takes you on a ride through the dimensions of sound. Begining deep Harry get's dirty with 'Dimensions' then delivers some top tier tech-funk with 'Drifting'. The third stop is '2 Faces', perfect for the remaining open-airs of the Summer with a melody that will stay with you long after the journey's over. With it's unorthodox vocal loop and a jacking four-to-the-floor-beat Harry takes those of you still 'Standing' to the final dimension.

'Autopilot' is the second single taken from the album 'Light of the North '. Miaoux Miaoux's flair for an insistent and imperious melody strides to the fore. A glittering synth-fuelled hymn to heartbreak, 'Autopilot' incorporates elements of bass and hip-hop, while recalling the stylistic flourishes of Boards of Canada.
The white label 12' EP is limited to 300 copies. The EP features remixes from Auntie Flo/ESA, Tom Furse (from Horrors), Echo Park & Discopolis.
Auntie Flo/ESA kick off with a straight-up, no messin', dancefloor banger African style: earthy conga loops, majestic sounding King Tubby tape delays and deep, dubby chamber reverbs collide to deliver that vintage,
big desk production feel.
Next up is Tom Furse from The Horrors. A simple phrase for you: jaw dropper. Tom goes supremely Gaian on this one, masterfully summoning exquisitely blissed out, choice cuts of shamanic synth work.
Man of the minute Echo Park (with trailblazing releases on Skream's imprint Disfigured Dubz) reverses the vocal Dubstep template and fashions a huge PA tune..
Support from The Revenge, JD Twitch and full review due in Mixmag.

The E.P has already gained huge support by James Johnston, Tomorrow is Now Kid, Kid Mark, Oli Furness, Scottie Deep, Jamie Trench, Lucas RawCulture, Sem Marini, Kool Vibe, Jeremy Underground, Tunde Adams Caspa, Bryan Agent Pepper, Skylax Records, Washerman & more

Swink Music Records will turn one this month and we are delighted to celebrate our Anniversary with our first Vinyl release :) We've recruited the tnwo Mancunian's Si Jones & Mike Morgan, better known as the duo 'Si'Ke DJ's', part of the exciting new breed of electronic artists that are emerging from the U.K with releases already on well established labels such as Applique Music and Say Ahh! Records amongst others. We're proud to have them join 'Swink Music Records' with their brilliant 'Snap Back EP'.

With lead track 'Snap Back', the guys deliver another trademark masterpiece. Hypnotic Organ riff, groovy shuffled percussion with deep haunting chords with a real 90's feel to it makes a wonderfully warm dancefloor trip, proving once again why the duo are on the rise this year and deemed 'ones to watch' by an array of big labels.

Tenament Yard craftily uses a "Sade" vocal which effortlessly flows through the track meeting big heavy chords with a killer driving bassline. Already their work has been recognised and supported by the likes of Bryan "Agent" Pepper and Washerman, this is definitely a peak time track that will get the whole club bouncing.

On the B-side Alex Agore's take on 'Snap Back' grabs your attention with the instantly recognisable M1! This perfect peak time weapon is engineered to lock you in the groove with a bouncing bassline, spacey pads and menacing Organ stabs. This is a smash right here - best of global daytime parties be warned!

Rounding of the EP is the remix from 'Malin Genie'. Another producer hot on the heels of Global success, this time from Amsterdam. Malin first caught our attention with huge tracks like 'Eye' and 'Aranoyas' both of which gained massive support on the underground House scene so it was an obvious choice to ask him to do a mix for us and he has not disappointed. A somewhat more relaxed approach that utilizes the parts well while catering for 2 step/garage fans a stripped back version of the original but still packing a mighty punch!

Limited edition, hand stamped white label 12" sampler from the "IT IZ WHAT IT IZ" CD.
4 dope tracks: "IT IZ WHAT IT IZ" feat DIZ, "EARTHRISE (MOON MIX)", "SENTIMENTAL LOVE (DUB)", "SEA OF VAPOURS".
A mix of Chicago house and deep techno all newly released on vinyl.

Legendary Dutch dance duo Chocolate Puma craft a two-disc mix spanning house, techno and everything in-between.
Gaston Steenkist and René ter Horst - aka Chocolate Puma - are two of Holland's most celebrated electronic producers. With a career spanning 20 years, 200-odd releases, two significant UK chart hits ('Give It Up' and 'I Wanna Be U') and countless remixes under their various guises they are a duo whose influence on the European dance music scene cannot be overstated.
Their latest project is an In The House mix for Defected, a compilation which represents the culmination of a life spent in and around house music. Including tracks from Chez Damier, Ben Westbeech, Claude von Stroke, Kraak & Smaak, Gregor Salto and many more, Chocolate Puma have remixed and re-edited almost every track, with an end result halfway between mix compilation and artist album.
