Two of house music's rising stars Josh Butler & Bontan collaborate for the very first time to deliver 'We Found A Place', a future classic featuring the outstanding vocals of Josh Barry on MTA.

This sublime new single sees both artists return to the label after the run-a-way success of last year's highly acclaimed Ibiza anthem Josh Butler 'Got A Feeling' (Bontan remix), which went on to become a huge international hit and helped propel both artists onto the world stage.

'We Found A Place' is a fine follow-up with it's addictive Jackin' house groove, lush organ stabs and warm soulful vocals all combing to make this quality track a cut above the rest.

'We Found A Place' comes in two different forms, the 'Original Mix' and the 'Dub Mix', both versions make perfect ammunition for DJs across the house spectrum and are ready to ignite dancefloors from London to Miami.

The title of this EP is rather fitting, seeing as Paxton Fettel has already made the trip from Denmark's capital to London when he played to his 1st UK audience back in May at the 2nd Plumage Label Night in Hackney. The young Dane has been slowly but surely growing his profile with 3 previous EPs and now an outstanding debut album on the label he co-runs: Greta Cottage Workshop. His recent EP on Apersonal also made some serious waves amongst the deep house fraternity. Norm De Plume joins Mr. Fettel on the bill at Culturebox in København mid-July and then the two will reunite once again to play Norm's 3rd & final UK Plumage party for 2015 on 1st Aug and back in East London.

French producer Juliano delivers the next EP, entitled This Must Be...', on his own imprint That Place Records'. Fourth in line on the label, following on from releases from Visitors for Reworks, MZKBX (aka Sacha Mambo) and Love Comedy, the now Berlin-based artist gifts his very first EP to the collection. As a DJ, Juliano has spent the last 13 years honing his craft - first cutting his teeth holding down a residency at L'Ambassade, and then going on to play all over France and throughout Europe. Over a decade of digging and spinning has led Juliano to develop a refined palette and a knack for finding tunes that make the dance floor bounce. Strongly influenced by US house, 'Panaugust' is a real dance floor killer with its never ending synth. The more emotional 'Anthem For A Friend' is a real tribute, drawing inspiration from Chicago and Detroit such as 'The Real Mess' with its special Rhythm & Blues vibe. Finally, 'Cupid Mess' brings a touch of Japanese mood, evoking images of an early-morning rising sun thanks to the classic Juno6 sound. Juliano's ethos is that music should stay fun - preferring to keep things simple, but always real. Watch out for this one.

Following the raw and undiluted style of his releases and remixes for Clap Your Hands, Play It Down, Klasse, Made To Play and more vinyl imprints that preserve the raw energy of housemusic, Rafael Kakudo is raising the stakes with his new-built label. Soundwise it confirms what we all know: when Kakudo steps into to the arena it's time to jack it!

Paying homage to 909 drum and bass sounds, 'Panne AM'' adds even more rawness to Kakudo's style. But as soon as you feel under the spell of his jacking grooves, Kakudo turns on some familiarly nervous siren sound that unmistakably makes this a stand-out track to remember. No escapin' this!


B2: Padkiller
Like you love it... B2 tracks... known to be rounding up an EP with a different twist. Same over here, 'Padkiller' seems a hidden gem. Slowly gaining groove and drive at first. But when those searing synths hit, it's over... Reminiscing of Detroit sounds, Kakudo spirals the sound until you get lost in it's maelstrom!

After the late nite, neon-red funk of his last release 'The Digital Fantasy' (which picked up support from the likes of Benji B, Alexander Nut & Ross Allen), Quaid returns with a new ep: 'CFE'.AIn contrast to the strung out, hazy eroticism of 'The Digital Fantasy', here the heart rate has elevated and the signals pushed further into the red. 'Nightlyfe' best illustrates this with its rough hats, minor chords and irrepressible rhythm. BRAWTHER + DETROIT SWINDLE + HERCULES & LOVE AFFAIR = MEGA BOMB!!

Nearly two years ago we released Mys/Kela by a newish Stockholm-based producer who had put out a couple tracks on a couple labelsStudio Barnhus and Local Talkowned by friends from around town. That producer's name was HNNY and a lot has happened since then, both to him and to us. He's gone on to crank out more L.T. 12"s as well as some he's dropped on his Yummy and Puss imprints, we've gone on to unleash a couple dozen more records and see the list of talent we've hosted at our parties grow to astounding length. Somehow, through it all, we managed to stay close with HNNY, who's real name is Johan Cederberg, and even book him for a couple NYC gigs. The friendship that began so humbly and gently in 2013 has blossomed. So our timing to release the follow up to that classic collection of carefree, sun- kissed summertime grooves couldn't've been better. As we see the winter thaw into spring to expose greens below and blues above, we give you Solsidan/Alby, a sequel, of a sort, to Mys/Kela. Like the inagural EP, this one's got two originals, the first of which is heavy on smooth, looped-up vocals with no lyrics, and the second of which takes classic house tropes and romanticizes them to an almost saccharine point. Also like the first EP, there're two remixes included in this package. First one's by Avalon Emerson, a Berlin-via-San Francisco producer who's been making waves thanks in large part to a slew of impressive cuts for labels like Icee Hot and Spring Theory. The other's by Ana Helder, an Argentine from the Co´meme posse who has a penchant for injecting electro and disco and herky-jerky rhythms into her house tunes.
That first release was all about getting close and cozying up. This one's all about adventuring outside and exploring new corners and enclaves of our beautiful world. Enjoy.

Always at the top of their game, Hot Creations this time call upon Toronto's Nathan Barato for the next release on the label. The unique and fresh sounding 'Everytime I See You' is a real groover with a low slung bassline creating deep swing and flow with the vocals from Room 303 taking it to the next level. Brazilian Volkoder is first to remix, picking up the pace for the dance floor he adds a new killer bassline, stripping down the vocal but holding onto the groove. Last up Drumcode favourite Nicole Moudaber brings her techno touch to the release with her remix making this a wholly satisfying package indeed.

A Toronto favourite, Nathan Barato has been a staple of the city's underground scene for over 15 years. He began as a young pup, rolling with legends like Peter & Tyrone, playing at clubs such as Industry, Mad Bar and System Soundbar. His talent eventually progressed him into residencies at The Guvernment, Stereo Nightclub, and Footwork, as well as his own night, 'Weird Science' at the long-standing and legendary Comfort Zone. His releases can be found on the likes of Rekids, Cajual, Moda Black, Saved Records and his own Roots & Wings.

Producer since the age of 16 years old, Volkoder has produced music for major labels such as Kittball, Material, Snatch! Records, Street King among many others. His music has been championed by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss and they are happy to have him onboard the label.

Nigerian-born Lebanese star Nicole Moudaber is a force to be reckoned with who climbed the ranks with the likes of Carl Cox as a mentor. Last year she released her debut album on Adam Beyer's Drumcode which was Number 1 for a month on the Beatport techno, tech house and deep house lists. Touring all over the world last year she played for the likes of Marco Carola's Music On and played the final set at Space closing party.

Re issue of Romanthony's 'The Wanderer' on Black Male from 1993.Re mastered for 2014 and released in original artwork. Re issued in conjunction with the rights holders.

Legwork's 2nd single comes from another one of our Texas compatriates, the indelible Brett Johnson, fresh off some amazing work on Classic, Get Physical, Rawax and other killer imprints. The Mission harks back to some of our favourite dub-techno moments, but keeps it's own flare with Brett's signature robo-rhythms and chopped and screwed vocal cuts. On the remix tip, it's label head Lance DeSardi & Convextion bringing their own flavour to the table respectively, with Lance stepping to the chord memory, deep bass, and over sampled drums, and Convextion going all the way out into hyper space with his usual sub-aquatic space funk.

For those turned on by the far-sighted, sci-fi inspired sounds of Detroit deep house and techno, this EP from Michael Zucker's Finale Underground imprint (an offshoot of his Finale Sessions label) should be an essential purchase. With the likes of Patrice Scott, Keith Worthy and Luke Hess involved, you'd expect the quality threshold to be high. It is, of course, resulting in a quartet of killer tracks. Worthy's hypnotic techno jam "Tolox" is a definite highlight, though it pales in comparison to the analogue futurism of Luke Hess's brilliant "Cyclops". Best of all, though, is Scott's "Journey Into The Unknown", which bobs, weaves, bubbles and spits to the rush-inducing deep house sound of undulating synthesizer melodies and classic, Transmat-style Motor City rhythms.

A booming clavinet led banger from everyone's favourite disco uncles, Eric Duncan and Dean Meredith.Heavy on the lasers and scything hi hats with a bassline as deep as you’d expect from these fellers.Marcellus' trademark sound is all over his remix - sultry rhodes and sweet, driving funk, and The Central Executives version strips it to the bone, revealing not a skeleton but a robot.
A robot playing a fucking saxophone! Rock on, dudes.

Tribal Roots is the eighth and latest EP release from Batti Batti Records. It's a four-track affair once again this time featuring label stalwarts Owen Jay and Melchior Sultana alongside percussionist Antoine with an infectious perc-driven number, whilst Rai Scott (Inner Shift/Minuendo) debuts with the deliciously dreamy and enchanting Depth Of The Ocean. Both 1Dan and Marco Nega, meanwhile, make welcome returns to the label, the former with the twisted yet insanely groovy Recovery Process and the latter with the sumptuously soulful Inside Out featuring Leen Vivid!

Washerman is a story at it's best. The humble Gianni Siravo has been around since many years under different names. He released his first records in 1998 as SEQUEL on labels like Straight Ahead and Sonar Kollektiv. In 2008 he introduced us to his AZUNI project and released the album "City Look" on Agns' label STHLM Audio as well as 12"es on Morris Audio, Quinessentials and Drumpoet. In 2012 he decided to release his music as Washerman. His first single Kutz From The Basement EP for DPC became one of the most played records that summer/autumn and gained him a big reputation, followed up by countless remixes and releases on labels like Nite Grooves, Saft and Deso. He also started his own label DEEP DOWN SLAM, where he is championing music which is inspired by the early house groove of New York and Chicago. He has been busy travelling the world as a DJ and producing music, such as this honest raw album of quality house music. His first album entitled "Raw Poet" features nothing less than a 909, a Juno 60 and some other bits to create this unique groove we can not resist. It's simply underground dance music in its purest way and straight to the point.
