New label from Brooklyn's Nathaniel Jay, also known for his Love Revolution label, and his work as half of Soho808. Original music by Casey Tucker, whose recent releases on Boe off-shoot, For Those Who Knoe, Inspired Jay to seek him out. On remix duties, Italy's underground don, Nick Anothony Simoncino, of L.I.E.S., Echovolt, Skywax, Quintessentials, and his own label, Hotmix, to name but a few. Nathaniel is promising big things for his new Love Notes imprint: "This is going to be the best thing I've ever done". We'll take him at his word until he gives us reason not to.

Roots For Bloom bring in four new faces for the seventh release. We see label boss Jamie Trench deliver an edit and remix of 'Daniel Curpen - Daddy Was A Thug', and David Moran teams up with Albert Vogt for their track 'Cut Loose' and then collabs with Mark Crumbs for 'Tha Bassment'. The A side see's Jamie bring a rolling dub edit to Daniel's original and then takes things a little darker for the A2 remix. David Moran's Cut Loose shows off the vocal talents of Albert Vogt which grooves along seductively, then Tha Bassment as expected brings things a little harder and more for those after hour spots.

Arbiters of the finest sonic skullduggery, Foot & Mouth returns with a slice of Summer Madness, featuring four highly effective fresh cuts of summer sonic edits from four clandestine movers and shakers.
The A side kicks off the super edit of PYT 'Addicted To Love' a monster of an edit by an artist with his own unique Vision. A2 is guaranteed to eat into your very soul with 'Big Portions' of Mange Tout.
On the flip and Russ Yallop delivers a sublime edit Oskar Offermans' 'Fluffer' heavily in demand and causing chaos on the summer dance floors. Finally H&T work their weird magic on Howard and try to get to know you!

Dub is one of the most overused words in dance music.

The word is usually used to mean an instrumental mix with perhaps the odd delayed vocal thrown in. But the rich history of dub has it's roots as far back as the 1960s when Jamaican pioneer King Tubby started to create stripped down versions of songs using just the 'Riddim' tracks with heavy use of echo and reverb effects units. Since then dub has had an impact and influence on every worthwhile form of dance music including House Music.

The Lost in Time series continues the story with its' own dub pilgrimage for the third release on the imprint. Heavy research into the techniques and methods first employed at Tubby's by co-creator Ralph Lawson led to a series of live dub sessions at Unblock Studios, home of Italian producer Tuccillo with Carl Finlow on additional keys. Recorded in live takes with all hands on deck using vintage analog gear and effects units the trio took inspiration from Dub Techno pioneers Basic Channel and the sublime Round series created by Maurizio and Chez Damier to attempt to produce new cutting edge electronic music in a dub style.

Three cuts all squarely levelled towards discerning underground dance floors continue the journey for dub as it finds an outlet in house and techno landscapes...

RON TRENT is back with production on this TKUMAH SADEEK jam. Already making rounds at festivals, "IN TIME" is dance floor tested now ready to be released to the masses. "I WILL BE THERE" is a lush vocal tune, something you don't often hear from RON, but he lays it out for any DJs playlist.

Ultra Knites return with their first release of 2014, the follow up to their debut from late last year which gained the duo much credibility and recognition from some the scenes leading players. UKR002 finally sees the release of a 'Extacy', a track that has been in demand for over a year having been used as a 'secret weapon' in the duo's own DJ sets. It has been described as genius, but the formula is simple - a stabby rhodes riff acompanied by an infectious vocal hook while a cleverly filtered pad weaves in and out until eventually, the filters open and the track erupts. UK veteran Danny J Lewis steps up for remix duties - a personal inspiration to the pair since the mid 90's who delivers his own unique stamp on the track. "In My Life" takes things into another direction, however the duo's trademark sound remains instantly recognisable - throbbing basslines, filtered synth pads, ruffed up beats and a keyboard solo. Once again this EP has something for everyone and as always, we bring it to you on 180g vinyl.

BRAND NEW DAY" by MISSING SOUL will surely get you moving with his house meets jazz flavor, a great tune to take the dance floor to the next level. B-Side, "LA SOLEIL ETERNEL" keeps the groove in tact with it's PAT MATHENY vibe and build up. This will definitely make you want to get on the floor.

The Skokie Intruder EP is the first ever release by the French / American producer Royer. His productions reflect astounding sampling skills and a penchant for Detroit style grit and groove. Skokie Intruder was mastered and cut by Helmut Erler at Dubplates and Mastering and will be a hand stamped red label in edition of 300. Featured on the release is a remix by Brian Leeds (Huerco S., Royal Crown of Sweden) under a new alias: Independence Ave. Orchestra.

The first sampler EP from GLENN UNDERGROUND's forthcoming album "BLACK RESURRECTION". The album is coming on CD and digital only but there will be several 12" vinyl EPs featuring tracks. "SESSIONS OF THE SOUL" b/w "MY LITTLE EBONIE" and "PLAY PLAY PLAY".

Russian house queen Nina Kraviz executed a mass seduction with her deep and sexy, spaced out debut LP on Rekids earlier this year. Now the label drops the single 'Aus' featuring a trio of stirring remixes by legends DJ Qu, The Rhythm Odyssey and of course, Matthew Edwards aka Radio Slave.

One of the deeper tracks on the album, 'Aus Feat King Aus On The Mic' is full of bubbling Rhodes, jazzy tones and organ melody interlaced with ice cool funk, while the incredible vocal, reminiscent of Foremost Poets, unfolds on the top line, penetrating the smokey atmosphere. The three remixers on board each deliver a more dancefloor ready interpretation with Rhythm Odyssey bringing more hiss and bass along with trademark wiggly acid permutations. Label boss Matt Edwards injects a sharp kick and transforms 'Aus' into a chugging drum tech roller while DJ Qu supplies a moody, fluid mix with trippy FX and deeply constructed layers.

The name on everyone's lips in 2012, Nina Kraviz is a star that can more than back up the hype - her unique expression, intricate production style and crate-digging skills earning her major attention from clubbers and industry insiders alike. Having wowed with EPs on home label Rekids, Underground Quality, Naif and BPitch Control previously, the eponymously titled album (on Rekids) cemented Nina's status as a true original andsaw Nina gracing the cover of leading music magazines and receiving near flawless reviews. Recently delivering a special BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix featuring many unreleased tracks and rarities, Nina has the dance music world at her feet.

After the huge success of 'Say No More' featuring Azari & III's Cedric at the beginning of the year, Birmingham bred Subb-an is back on board Crosstown Rebels to deliver yet another incredible release. 'Vapour Trails' is a solid, driving club track with that distinct Subb-an sound featuring highly captivating vocals from Amsterdam's The Million Plan. Also directed straight at the dancefloor with a deep hypnotic breakdown, the 'Terrace Dub' perfectly fits into the series of 'Terrace' remixes the talented producer has released lately. Specifically requested as remixer by Subb-an, legend Matthew Herbert delivers a completely new musical adaptation with fantastic use of the vocal that plays out as the track constantly evolves. On the b-side 'Oasis' leads with swinging grooves, progressing into prominent hats, a unique stabbing bassline and a trippy vocal from Whitney Fierce formerly of Hercules & Love Affair.

Now living in Berlin, Subb-an is a DJ, producer and one of the most exciting new British live acts of recent years due to his dedication and hard work. His prodigious studio talents have seen him release on Spectral, Crosstown Rebels, Visionquest and Cocoon. He also has another release forthcoming on his own One Records, now in its fifth year, which he co-runs with Adam Shelton. Last year he joined the Crosstown Rebels crew on the 10 Years world tour playing multiple dates. This summer has seen him take his new live show on the road appearing at the likes of Fabric, Warehouse Project in Manchester, Panorama Bar and Glastonbury where he closed the Genisys stage.

Willem de Bruin is one half of the The Million Plan whose vocals feature on the release. They are a duo from Amsterdam who are working on their first EP in electronic music. Musical genius Matthew Herbert ignores all boundaries. Playing the likes of British Sound Library for his Boiler Room show, he also recently took up residence with his band in a special studio in the carpentry of the deutsche opera Berlin to compose, record and mix an album from scratch in a week. A classically trained vocalist and DJ in her own right, Whitney Fierce is a tour DJ for New Order alongside DJing for the likes Dior in Paris, Nylon in New York and the Mayor in LA.

IR103 "The Jazzy Grooves EP", was the 3rd release in I Records history. Having already struck a nerve in house music with two vinyl compilations called "The Avenue Project", the label enlisted the talents of the now legendary duo "Jazz N Groove" to provide it's first all original artist EP. Delivering the firepower, the release featured 5 tracks and included the long awaited "Open Up". First released in the mid 90's,it was featured as an exclusive vinyl with full color labeling. This release has become one of the hardest I Records back catalog to find.

Part Four in the series sees Mosaic return to its signature sound of the late 90's : deep techno-tinged house.

First up is UK house legend Nail , who was in hiding in London and Suffolk for a while , but is now back in his bunker in Nottingham making music once again.

His offering, "Pharoah," was created on Boxing Day 2013 especially for Mosaic and contains all the hallmarks of classic Nail productions of the 90's whilst maintaining a foot firmly in the present. If you like your house deep and sample heavy this cut is definitely worth checking out...

On the flip we have two tracks from newcomer Annie Errez. Annie is a resident DJ at the Mint Club in Leeds and has been developing her production skills over the last few years with appearances on Holic Trax , Saints & Sonnets as well as a very fine release on Strobewax which she co-runs with fellow Mint Club resident Bobby O'Donnell.

If deep techno- house is your cup of tea then put the kettle on and listen to the sublime "Bell Curve" and the dubbed out bass monster that is 'Auguste." We are sure that you will agree that there is no doubt that she will be a producer to keep an eye on in the future ...

Mr Saag is back for his third release on Local Talk, 'In The Box' and this time he went all in.

This 12 provides a meaty affair with firm drums, well-treated vocal snippets, organ hooks and the works. p> The opening track 'In The Box' uses strong synth stabs to full effect and the marriage of percussive and crunchy rhythms in this track is Saag at his best.
It's so good we decided to include a drum track of it too !

'Suddenly I Woke Up' is basement house with organ hook, afro percussive rhythms and a bassline from the deep depths of Detroit.

As a digital bonus Andreas offers a heads down, 3am monster of a Dub of 'Suddenly I Woke Up'.

Its time for Local Talk to go local again with another Swedish producer, Eric Ericsson. With numerous releases out in labels like Planet E, Fragile and Freerange he's one of those producers with one foot in the techno scene and another in the more soulful house scene. Basically, he’s not a one trick pony!
For his release on Local Talk we would say he lands somewhere between classic Chi-Town house and thumping NYC house groove but without sounding too retro or washed out. Its simply real house music ! We begin with Love It, a real bumpy house track with analogue basslines and swinging fender grooves that will work both stateside and in the european house clubs.
The second track The Chi is as the title suggest a homage to Chicago with a slight old school Boo Williams fee. - dope!
But thats not all, to give the release a broader twist we got man of the moment Oskar Offerman (Berlin) to remix Love It for us.
Oskar goes more deep with his trademark sound and gives us a dark mix that will sound amazing in your favourite Berlin club of choice.
