GLENN UNDERGROUND, CVO, BIDI aka GU with the rare selection of some of the most wanted & rare CHICAGO HOUSE joints ever. "606", "PARTIES", "ALL NIGHT SLAM" & "THE WHEEL" were originally released on CAJUAL, RELIEF, & others.

From "Tomorrow" and back to plus thirty years, more precisely in 1987, a teenager named Thomas, Thomas Barnett the full name, released the track "I Can Feel It" mixed by Juan Atkins, one of the first mix by who became the main DJ and producer from Thomas's hometown, Detroit.

Today "I Can Feel It" is a very hard to find record that finally will be available for an official reissue via Omaggio, after a skillful re-master from the original source by Andy Toth former member of Detroit Grand Pubahs.

History says that the '87 was a lucky year for Thomas Barnett, who also written "Nude Photo" the second ever release out on Transmat, credited to Rhythim Is Rhythim, definitely one of the moment to define the genre. Well, we all agree to consider Mr. Barnett an originator of Detroit Techno. From there Thomas travels across the world as DJ and live performer and when at home he is a busy managing multiple labels and still an illuminated recording artist.

The Latest Rhythm Section International release comes all the way from down under and rest assured it is another BEAUTY! The record oozes jazz, lush orchestral experiments and downbeat, Detroit flavour house spread across 4 tracks of sun soaked productions from Melbourne Newcomer Prequel, who makes his debut on this hotly tipped Peckham Label.

U2XProductions presents, "I'm Yours" - written by Niko Marks and featured artist, Sadiqua. Niko expresses true Detroit deepness while allowing room for a sultry female vocal to carry a bit of melody throughout each mix. A1 starts off low tempo and very dance friendly while B1 delivers a very funky baseline and leans to a more aggressive beat. B2 gets really deep and plays down to a minimal pulse. This release is a definite Dj record with smooth and rich grooves that will make a great fit into your playlists!

Artist biography: Terry Tester first surfaced in the 00's as scratch DJ for local rap legend MC Einar as well as producer
and MPC-badman for several acclaimed Danish hiphop projects. As a solo beatmaker, his works of imminent soulful, boogie and jazz-influenced beats has landed him production credits for Jahi &
Dwele, BBE, Brownswood Recordings, a remix commission from Marc Mac for the Visioneers project (alongside heavyweights such as DJ Jazzy Jeff and Denz), and most recently a neck-snapping debut album 'Horses and Diamonds' (2012) and follow-up 'Short Suite' (2013) on Mixed Ape Music. Known as 'The Born Entertainer', Dwayne Jensen is one of the key artists who helped to shape the Detroit House sound and the new evolution of music we now call Techno.
A self-taught DJ, musician, producer and writer, the Detroit-born native started off as a Jazz drummer & percussionist before gaining respect worldwide as one of the true Detroit superstars.
We are also delighted that Geoff Pesche from Abbey Road Studios is back on the mastering and has worked his alchemy on the release.
A1: Ignition - Original Mix: Dwayne starts this timeless EP with a powerful and switched-on Deep Detroit number, rich with filtered pads and trademark drum sounds straight out of the 909.
A solid piece of modern House, this relentless, driving classic takes no prisoners.
B1: Deep Dive Dub - Original Mix: Dwayne really shows us what underground House music is all about with this moody, stirring number. Jazzy keys and funky bassline conspire with raw and tight percussion to produce a track which is off the fathom charts. A personal favourite of Mr Jensen's, this is a sure-fire crowd-pleaser guaranteed to warm up any dance floor.
B2: My People - Disco Nights Mix: Finishing the EP off with a bang, we are over-the-moon to be re-releasing the all-time classic, 'My People'. Originally released five years ago on a 12" compilation album, which only ever
made a small run, it's high time this track was given a full release. Fun, infectious and uplifting, if this isn't the track to get a party started, I don't know what is.
This solid EP mixes a delicious slice of past and present, and is a rare record not to be missed. Play it loud!

The Birdsmakingmachine duo is back with what could be the more extroverted Ep of the series. The birds are painting a more funky and psychedelic palette on top of their mechanical rolling grooves, with a hint of rave and acid.

Coming on 500 limited edition coloured vinyl is this new EP from Sierra Sam on Tomoki Tamura's Holic Trax.
Analogue machine loving Sierra Sam is probably best know as a techno specialist but this EP - made up of original tracks that were first produced 15 years ago - showcases his house music
side and does so in some style. One new edit comes from Sierra Sam in cahoots with Tamura, and the label head also turns out a great DJ tool edit to complete the package.

When you take it back to that essence, it?s really not so strange that graffiti writers call themselves and each other writers. With just a few letters ? a word, a name ? they write their mythology for a general audience. No huge vocabulary needed, just imagination and a need for expression. It can come as no surprise that those qualities extend to other disciplines as well. Graffiti has long been associated with musical styles (hip-hop, punk) that contain an abundance of imagination and expression. Less well known is the fact that graffiti writers have embraced the DIY approach of electronic music. Writers on Wax Volume 1 is a group exposition of beats and basslines, imagination and expression. Sometimes using a lot of words, usually none or very few. The dance floor has its own myths.
