The Nathaniel X Project is a name that is perhaps familiar to most of you by now. His latest release came courtesy of the wildly popular "My Love Is Underground" record label released in 2010 and then re-released in 2012. Nate's pedigree spans directly back into the thick of the 90's era with a multitude of productions with Vil-N-X on Island Noyze as well as multiple contributions on major releases ranging from house to hip-hop and everything in between. There is no doubting the man's prowess and we as a label are privileged to be able to release a new EP chalked full of his authentic deep house sound. This is a special, vinyl-only edition of our Undertones catalog. It will never be released digitally and will be accompanied by a commemorative record jacket that is limited to the first 500 copies and is pressed on 180 gram vinyl -
a true collectors' item!

Part 2 of the Limited Edition series on Club U Nite Records comes with 4 Deep House goodies produced in the '90s.Previously unreleased: First Goodie 'Free Your Mind' starts with awesome shuffle beats, classic house chords and some soulful samples. Second Goodie 'Wanna Take U For A Ride', an Old School Stomper from the E.P. 'Manhattan Project Vol.3' - really takes u on a ride!

Third Goodie 'Baby Let It Cum' kicks off on the B side with pumping beats and warm organ bits - let it come into your heart! The Fourth Goodie ends this E.P. full of gold pieces with 'Special', a previously unreleased production by Irie Thomas. Deep, warm and soulful.

Re mastered for 2014 from Oscar Gaetan & Ralph Falcon's original Murk DAT's for 2014. Fantastic re issue of these legendary producers early catalogue from 1992. Containing all the original versions and dub's. These will sound better than anything on discogs.

In terms of "legendary" House records, it doesn't get any better than LNR's "Can't stop the house".
Originally released in the golden year of 1987 the Chicago duo of Larry Thompson and Rick Lenoir (with a helpful production assist from the mighty Adonis and a dope remix from Steve "Silk" Hurley) crafted this anthemic slab of chunky, funked out jacking House. "Can't stop the house" is a straightforward, stripped back club track, no special FX - just straight up party music for sweaty dancefloors. This official 2016 reissue contains 4 mixes of this stone cold classic - The vocal mix, basement mix, house of trix mix and the rapid edit, all culled from the numerous pressings that came out in 1987 - 1989. In a sense, this is "the complete" collection of this cornerstone of Chicago House. The full set. All audio has been lifted from Rick Lenoir's private collection of reel to reel tapes from his basement and remastered accordingly. This reissue has been realised with the full involvement of Thompson & Lenoir and is 100% legit! Don't snooze, this one deserves a spot in any self respecting House heads record bag or DJ set, classic material made available again for 2016 - You can't stop it!

Vin Sol has arrived back on the scene with his outstanding and varied album on Dark Entries. On his debit Craigie Knowes EP however it's back to the gritty stuff. Acid, ghetto tech and slammin' house jams. It is an EP of club rocking beats from beginning to end.

1nce Again is back again, this is the first of two 12's containing one of our absolute favourite tracks from prolific producer Ken Duke aka DJ Duke.

Closer was orginally released back in 1994 on Duke's Power Music Records and the amazing Klubb Kidz mixes quickly found it's way into many DJs record bags, including label boss Mad Mats who rates the 'Flava Dub' as one of his favourite deep house cuts of all time.
If u ever heard Mats spinning a house set chances are big you've heard this mix blasted loud!

First up for remixes duties this time is Mark Seven, Parkway/Parkwest label owner, a true DJs DJ, a passionate music lover and record collector extrodinare.
The So Close Mix of Closer is deep house at it's finest, an homage to the classic Prescription sound keeping it ultimately atmospheric. The Stalker mix continues on the same vibe yet develops into something more meaty and pumping during its course.

Together with the original 'Klubb Kidz Flava Dub' and the Mark Seven mixes this release got everything a true deep house head needs.

International Gigolo Records are re-releasing Move D's & Thomas Meinecke's joint LP 'Work". For the first time it will be released on digital & vinyl. WORK is a four-letter- word Since the 1920's one could establish an etymological mix between the sphere of work and love, as the so-called 'working girls' (young, employed women, mostly employees in bureaus, who wore short skirts and even shorter hair and smoked in pubic), marked not only the first broad noticeable swing with previously unknown women who had sovereignty over their sexuality (not just in sociological sense), but also commonly working girl could also mean a prostitute. In a subcultural jive the word 'work' built up increasingly to a word for self-determined, often sexually dissident activities, until they become central term in the overly queer, mostly Latin-American subculture (glorified by Judith Butler and Madonna) of the vogue ballrooms, Spanish harlems. 'You better work' is the chorus of the super hit 'Supermodel' by the drag queen RuPaul and that was truly not meant as a call to the working moral of the Anglo-Saxon protestant (WASP) society of the USA (the accompanying video clip was turned in New York for its chiseled street walkers infamous meat-packing district). The 'Underground house music' of New York, Chicago's Booty Bass or Detroit's Ghetto tech uses the word until today in the context of almost loosely sexual metaphors (work my body over), that here often are coded as very bipolar, don't serve the (business)ubiquitous sexism, but (in the triangle of defamation 'race, class and gender') pose a critical potential.

After Profound Synthesis, Fundamental Sounds return to the game with another special EP, Warrios of Xian. The first emperor of China built the Xian warriors because he thought that those warriors could re-incarnate and return to life in this world or another. This record embodies that transcendental spirit, taking the ethos of that old Chicago sound and letting it live on through the new word of some of its modern natives and far flung global brothers. At its centre is the dance floor.

Here comes the long awaited 2 edition of My Love Is Underground' reissue compilation!!
When Jeremy Underground and Pascal Rioux met up they immediately shared a common longtime idea of bringing their favorite House & Deep-House underground classics back onto the wax format. The result was My Love Is Underground, a compilation made of 12 rare, underrated or unknown tunes, finely picked by Jeremy in his collection! Released in 2013, the album reached a strong success, and received great feedbacks from
international media such as Resident Advisor (Best Comp Reissue of the Year), The Vinyl Factory, or DJ Mag to name just a few.
Building on that success and that genuine love for House music' genres, Favorite Recordings and Jeremy naturally decided to follow up with a 2nd edition, and are very proud to present it today. My Love Is Underground (12 other House tracks selected by Jeremy Underground) will be released officially as vinyl gatefold 3LP.

'A Box Of Goodies' is a limited edition reissue of 4 brilliant dubs released on Club U Nite Records between 1996 and 1998.

It starts with 'I Need A Rhythm' (from the E.P. 'A Trip To N.Y.'), which represents a timeless house sound with deep bass, killer rim shots and easy jazz chords. The second track on the A side is the classic 'Saturday Luv' (from the EP 'Manhattan Project Vol. 1' catalog no.1), which keeps the dance floor moving with its pumping beats and a unique sample mix.
'Be Free' (from the E.P. 'Manhattan Project Vol. 2') opens the B-side of the Reissue E.P. with dope swingin' beats and chords, jazzy scat vocals and sax licks... We highly recommend this one for real House music lovers. Deep ends the B-side with 'Life's Like Good Music' (from the E.P. 'Manhattan Project Vol. 3'), a track that not only works in the club. The Ingredients: Deep Rhodes Chords, smooth Baseline, Rasta Vox and Hypnotic Sax Samples... whatta goodie!

All tracks have been transferred from the original DAT tapes.

Nomadic feathered dreamers Birdsmakingmachine are back with their 10th Ep in the series. Their usual mechanical rolling grooves are still very much in evidence here but now beautifully complemented with a much more psychedelic palette leaning on electro , breakbeat and a massive dose of Acid . A versatile EP very much in keeping with their trademark sound.
