Adelaide duo Warren Raww present a 12" that ups the energy of their July EP, whilst still delivering on their own brand of melodic, synth-laden house music. This time flanked by comrades Arthur Miles and Freddie Norwood, they add to the already high volume of talent currently emanating from Australia.
The A side offerings shift between the more low-end driven aspect of Warren Raww's production style, with off-kilter bass lines, punchy percussion and contemplative chord progression. The B side strips things back a bit further with a track each from Arthur Miles and Freddie Norwood. Gliding pads, raw percussion, broken beats and rolling drums all melt together to deliver an essential slab of house music.

Mr. Gene Hunt, Chicago house music legend, is back on LA Club Resource with the"After School" ep. Gene digs deep in his vast archives and unearths three hard hitting tracks for fans of old school house. Heard in the clubs and on mix shows back in the days, these tracks finally surface for the first time on wax. Limited to 300 copies and essential for the Chicago freaks.

Classic is incredibly pleased to announce that a certain man of the moment has joined the Classic family. 'One' was brought to the attention of Classic when it featured on vinyl only release late last year.

Ears pricked up and more information was sought. Who was this man from nowhere - producing music that was modern yet soulful, funky - and best of all coupled with his own vocal talents.

Luke Solomon then championed not only 'One', but the general excitement surrounding something that ticked all of his boxes. Reminiscent of the old Classic sound that reminded him of Iz and Diz, Losoul and the like... Seven was approached and not only offered Classic 'One' to re-release, but two brand new cuts featured exclusively here.

An EP aptly entitled 'Friends' is the freshest thing that has been around for some time - and Classic are proud to welcome Seven into their ever expanding family.

Lyssna Records is a newly formed label out of Stockholm overseen by Adam Stromstedt, Flord King and Mohammed Al Harbiti. Two of the founding members, Adam and Flord, join forces to create a deep, jazzy and delicately put together debut. A1 'Shakshuka' is a track driven by jazzy percussion and soothing chords on top and a slightly off kilter bass groove. A2 'Det Eviga Mysteriet' straight away hits you with a more hip hop and soul inspired touch with well thought out vocal samples on top of a bouncy beat. Flip side starts off with 'Foul' a slow pulsating track that is perfect for those late night shifts on the dance floor. Finishing off the EP we have Mr. Tophat's rendition of Shakshuka, weird and delightful at the same time, just like a Mr. Tophat remix should be, BLU.

After the last releases of M.in & Gunman on Cajual, Wow Recordings and Great Stuff, we are glad to welcome M.in together with his colleague Gunman on My Favourite Freaks.

These two tracks are timeless and perfect for the summer.

"The Voice" captivates with its cool vocals, a loose groove and a nice chord. This track brings a smile on everyone's face and awakens a summer feeling, which makes you want to dance imme-diately.

"The Groove" focuses on a strong groove and bongo samples but of course that's not enough. As a surprise, the track turns into its main part in a Monster, which lures everyone with his cool synth on the dance floor.

Dan Curtin needs little introduction; his unique blend of hi-tech funk & aerobic programming inhabits an unmistakable island of deep techno all to it's own. We journeyed to this island in search of long-buried treasure and struck gold: four energetic gems from Curtin's unreleased archive circa 1998-2001. Get ready to let loose.

As Pathway Traxx finds itself embarking on a dawn of maturity the now familiar colourful label welcomes in its 4th vinyl only release.
This bright yellow vinyl 4th installment welcomes on board relative newcomer on the house scene, Amir Maglajlija a.k.a. Espada. Originating from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Espada only began producing in early 2011 but as you will hear on this release his production skills far out weigh his years of experience. Amir delivers a truly sublime A-side with sprinkles of jazz influenced house and funk. He effortlessly intertwines melodic keys with jazzy horns whilst keeping things moving along nicely through his infectious drums and percussion.
The B-side of the EP see's Pathway Traxx return to more familiar ground with a stripped back deep rework by Mannheim native, ManooZ. Having released on the likes of Tomorrow is Now Kid, Swink and ALIVE Recordings to name but a few, its clear to see Manooz is a force to be reckoned with, and a name well-known for quality house productions.
And last, but by certainly no means last, in typical Pathway Traxx style, they've saved the heavy weight banger for the last track on the B-side. This out and out club ripper is delivered by close label friend and well renowned groove maker, Kezla. Expect nothing more and nothing less than Stripped back drums and a bone-shaking baseline!

A true techno auteur, Mathew Jonson earlier this year released his second solo album, 'Her Blurry Pictures' on Crosstown Rebels, encompassing a new evolution in his rhythmically complex and timeless approach over eight fluid and rich composition. Innervisions boss and Berlin luminary Dixon turns in a storming reimagining of the atmospheric, electronic matrix of 'Level 7' where straight talking techno does the driving as layers build, get stripped back then steered onto a more melodic path underpinned by a rumbling deep bassline.
Next up, the unstoppable duo Tale Of Us transport one of the more playful 'Blurry' cuts 'Kissing Your Eyes' into a brooding dubby sound bed of live sounding drums combined with rippling echoing synth melodies. Glitchy tech meets raw rolling drum beats in Akufen's 'Body In Motion' remix. As hypnotic, as you would expect from the Canadian mastermind, Akufen lures you into a trance and keeps you guessing, progressing from dextrous minimal textures to full on fluid jazzy piano interpretations.
