After several releases on the Shewey Trax label, Delicate Instruments takes on a more psychedelic approach into the thoughts about escaping the fractured American world view. This is record one from the forthcoming full length LP "MEMORY-0". Memory-1 "MEM-1" available first as a single 180gram vinyl limited edition and will also be included with the album followup release towards the end of year. Part 1's theme: "Withdraw from the world around you, into your own innerworld..."

About We Play House Recordings

We Play House Recordings - WPH - is the work of Belgian DJ & producer Red D. Started 10 years ago to release the music of his friend san Soda, the label had (and has) the aim to release house music in all its shapes and forms. WPH's house ethics date back to the days where house was just a name for music that was played in clubs. There is no such thing as tech house, no such thing as deep house or minimal, there is simply (house) music, good or bad.

We Play House Recordings is lovingly led by Red D (real name Bart Van Neste), one of Belgium's leading underground music figures. Be it in his role as DJ, A&R, promoter, music panel host or general nitelife instigator, Red D does things with passion, humor and a healthy dose of keeping-both-feet-firmly-on-the-ground...with a twist...

WPH was started in 2007, so it takes no math genius to know that in 2017 the label is celebrating its 10 years anniversary. Running from the spring till winter 2017 this anniversary will be celebrated with special vinyl releases, a triple CD, a digital compilation, a Spotify playlist and a series of label nights all over Belgium and beyond. True to form the compilation will have WPH classics but also a BIG bunch of new material from core artists of the label like Locked Groove, San Soda, Kiani & His Legion, Fabrice Lig and many more.

London's Counterfeit Soul gathers some serious hitters for the labels 4th release. Full of the essence of Detroit, Label boss Frazer Campbell kicks of the A side with a Cloud 909 with the legendary Jorge Zamacona injecting the heat for Doom Dub. On the flip Jorge Caiado from Carpet & Snares creates a honey pot of smooth hypnotising chicago house with Ste Roberts closing the release with his signature rawness. A glossy yet textured elegance from these guys. Top tip for the Summer.

Chicago House legend Mike Dunn goes into the vaults to deliver a series of his own personal DJ Edits moving across jazz, funk, soul and disco.

Versus III features tracks from Dengue Dengue Dengue, Khalab, Penya, Planet Battagon, Blood, Wine or Honey, James Stewart and the uncompromising street sounds of Mnanda from Dar es Salaam. The two dirty birdies from Hageby are back with the Back In The Day EP!

The title cut flips a classic Brooklyn funk sample into a deep house burner, Last Night really gives it to us (baby), and Estrelar showcases the groovy disco side of the 'wo.

Rounding out the EP is a Daniel Leseman remix that reworks the title track into a completely fresh production, bringing the deep dance floor heat for which the FOUK member and Outplay Records co-boss is known. All killa no filla!

1nce Again presents the second volume of the DJ Duke Presents Freedom - Closer Remixes.

This time we have two stunning remixes from Sean McCabe and the Klubb Kidz Skool Vocal version remastered.
These two remixes for 1nce Again are on the money and packed with good vibes. The NY Garage Mix takes us into classic house terrain with it's bump and shufYle and the Club Mix is a joyful house-meets-garage monster with a healthy amount of soul.
A Yine example of less-is-more jack magic.
Last but not least and to bring back some classic flavour there's the Klubb Kidz Skool Vocal. 90s house magic!.

If an artist strives to leave a mark on music he must be more concerned with his character than his reputation. In that regard, Sander Mölder makes the perfect example. Hailing from Estonia, Sander has worked his way through a classical formation after thirteen years of cello tuition, which allowed him to perform at London's Royal Albert Hall as part of a chamber orchestra and at Red Bull Music Academy in 2012.

With roots in funk, garage and deep house, Sander style is not confined by genre barriers, but whatever he does, there's a definitive soul element to it. Originally surfacing in 2013 and played by legendary British selector Gilles Peterson and BBC 1 host Mary-Anne Hobbs, 'In Your Eyes' gets an official release on Rebirth in 2014 with a strong remix package. The first 10" part includes mixes from Eddie Fowlkes and Lay-Far.

Detroit master of Technosoul Eddie Fowlkes follows his hot 'Something Special' tune with a great mix, cutting the original vocals and synth parts and delivering a strong version, that sounds already hot for the summer days.

The Moscow-based dj and produce Lay-Far is on the B side showing again his talent for deep 'n slow disco vibe fusing deep rhythms, jazz, funk and soul.

For the 4th release ITF heads towards the summer. On the A side joining in on remix activities is Windows. Formerly known as dj WIndows XP. After their output on Who's Susan and Andarta this remix proves again their talent for creating smooth and sexy house music. The B-side consists of 2 original tracks where " Submarine" shows the more Detroit melodic side of ITF while" Just One Turn " shows the more intimate side of the label. After the successful re-release of Pluto the journey continues in the future....

Forgot 002 is the second release from London based record label Forgot. The compilation is comprised of four tracks by four different artists: Forgot residents Hoffy and Joe S both return, while newcomers Lavan and Cass Brooker also contribute.

Since its release campaign launched earlier this year, the Forgot 002 compilation has received a wealth of positive feedback from a number of revered and respected DJs such as Dom Servini, Asian Hawk, Jason Pulaski and Dr. Best.

The anniversary Mancha number 10 comes from label owner "Back For Good (Matthias Speck - - Specki ) himself. Two dirty - wavy tracks have been lovinly carved into vinyl and on top there is a brilliant remix by Rotterdam based DJ Overdose (Model Man) who is known by his popular releases on Bordello A Parigi, L.I.E.S. records and Créme Organization and of course for his activity on Intergalactic FM. Ovum's 20th birthday celebrations continues with the return of Pete Moss. An early staple on the Ovum roster, Pete Moss released 6 EP's from 1999-2003. We are very excited to have Pete back in the fold and he has delivered a stellar release in celebration of Ovum's 20th Anniversary. Philadelphia based Pete Moss knows a thing or two about house music. Having traveled all over the world in search of the ultimate underground dance floors, and releasing over 150 projects on top labels, he's only just begun leaving his mark on the dance music world. His first 20 years of being a D.J/ Producer have been nothing short of incredible. Releasing originals, remixes, Albums and Mix comps on cutting edge labels such as, Ovum, Dessous, ALola, Definity, Large, Seamless, I records, MN2's, Acryl and dozens of others, as well as his own underground Recline imprint, he's made his mark in the deep tech world and then some. Pete has delivered a hand's in the air summer anthem. Pete always a master of working a vocal sample has delivered once again. The infectious hook will stick in your head and drive any dance floor crazy. The track ebbs and flows building to a perfect climax. On the B side we have enlisted the legendary Karizma for the remix duties. K has taken a different twist on the track bring that classic Baltimore funk. Things get a little grittier with chunkier beats, beefier bass and and a funked up keyboard line. He has kept elements of the original but givenit that Karizma twist. What you have are two diverse mixes that should find their way into a diverse mix of DJ's play lists.

Falcon Black Ops returns to UTTU with more groove based but hard hitting techno jams. Recalling a tribal sound, not heard since the late 90s, the aesthetic is updated with more modern production values. Relentless, and aimed purely at the floor, these cuts are essential for all phunk edged, tool based DJs.

Warsaw-based Bartosz Kruczyński returns as Earth Trax to Phonica’s main label, following on from last year’s well received ‘L’Avventura’ 12”, this time in collaboration with regular production partner Newborn Jr.

The pair have created a string of brilliant records together, such as ‘Sax & Flute’ on Rhythm Section, ‘Mirage’ on Les Yeux Orange and ‘If You’ on Shall Not Fade. Bartosz also has a growing solo discography under his own name, along with a variety of aliases such as The Phantom, Pejzaz, and of course; Earth Trax.

The A side here leads with the title track ‘Truth’, in which rose-tinted reminiscences of the golden early 90s era of House music echo, with dubbed out diva vocals cascading over wide snares, 303 acid lines and that almighty bassline, appearing through shimmering delays and reverbs in a vision of bygone nights at the Hacienda or Shelleys. Next up is the ‘Back Alley mix’ or a traditional dub mix - everything you need from the main mix but less vocal and more plays on THAT bassline with dub effects.

On the flip, as its title suggests, ‘Old Way, New Way’ bridges the gap, combing the same bassline driven Chicago house stylings with the deep new age textures that have characterised previous releases from the pair, flutes and pads floating sweetly above jacking drum grooves, reminiscent of mid-90s Italo House. Finally, ‘And Then’ fulfils the transformation, with ethereal late night pads enveloping a more lofi rhythm section and more flute for a more subtle, end of night Don Carlos ‘Alone’ feel.
