The debut EP of new-born Junction Records begins with thorough exploration of driving and percussive techno sounds in the form of label head Cool Tiger's Warehouse for All'. From atmospheric, suspensive build-ups to warped vocals and glitchy fills, this intelligent production from Paris based producer is a sweet taster of things to come and stands proud and deserving as A1 on this release. Next up on this release we move to groovier territory with French duo M&C's Droofin'. Swinging percussion and warm, soft synths are undoubtedly the driving force behind this track. Old School grooves contrasted with luscious, slow-moving pads in the breakdowns combine to create an infectious and familiar house sound. In coherence with Junction's pattern, the final track on this release from German duo Dominik Fry and Skipio is as warm as you would expect. Hypnotising vocals, hovering subby pads and gentle arpeggiators characterise this melodic easy-listener.

About We Play House Recordings
We Play House Recordings - WPH - is the work of Belgian DJ & producer Red D. Started 10 years ago to release the music of his friend san Soda, the label had (and has) the aim to release house music in all its shapes and forms. WPH's house ethics date back to the days where house was just a name for music that was played in clubs. There is no such thing as tech house, no such thing as deep house or minimal, there is simply (house) music, good or bad.

'Mystic' Bill Torres is a producer that we feel deserves more props! A Miami born, Chicago dwelling artist who's output has gained total cult status among lovers of that deep, narcotic, late-night groove that he has made his own.
Bill's sound is everything that House music should be, it encapsulates the smoky after hours and throbbing dance-floors of darkened spaces where folks really get down. Fitting then, that a lot of Bill's music is seriously sought after by DJ's and dancers from all over, most of his records are at the top of the wants lists of House fanatics who truly understand the music. 'Classics from the vault vol.1' is one such record - Originally released on Cajmere's mighty Relief Records back in 1997 it wears it influences on it's sleeve proudly, track titles such as 'Late night at the music box' obviously reference where Bill's sound is coming from, but his style is completely original and crystallizes the energy and expression of Ron Hardy and Chicago's heady dance music history into something fresh and individual. In short, Mystic Bill is the shit and if you're not hip to his music you certainly will be once you get into this EP. 4 tracks of top shelf, late night weaponry right here - reissued with love and still sounding as fresh as it did on it's original release in '97!
