House Vinyl New Releases - News

The Beeyou crew are buzzing around once again, this time with The Digger EP which sees the return of a few label mainstays as well as some new bees entering the hive. Laidlaw & Le Louche kick off the A1 combining for AH HA. Although the name may sound funny, the beat is anything but that with serious grooves and a wicked bassline. The dutch powerhouse that is Julian Anthony returns to the label with the driving thumper Zero Gravity, which also comes with a "dance floor destroyer" warning attached. On the B side Zach Murray & Jake Kav take us deep & bubbly with Force Of Nature before rising talent Harry Felce rounds things off with Tantrum, a solid rave inspired flavour that combines the best of the 90s with a new UK sound.

Stewart S. Walker's genuine techno works from his late 90's EP 'Abstract Symbols Of Decadence'. The extended version of 'It's Process Not Substance' brilliantly brings the best out of monotonity and rawness, while 'Something For You' keeps the release balanced with its warm and mellow vibe.

Density refers to how much energy is in an amount of space. Or wax. A space for people, music and ideas to grow together.

Sublee is the mastermind of this mission, after releasing digitally some of his ambient works under Caesura Limited in 2020.

He takes the 1st dance with three tracks meant to give some color to these uncertain times

The journey continues with Balinsky & Direkt. Early support from Sepp, Raresh, Mihai Pol, Ted Amber, Vincentiulian, Cosmjn, Vlad Arapasu, Barac, userUNKNWN and more...

Mint Condition - A record label focused on excavating the outer fringes of classic House and Techno. Unreleased mixes, classics, overlooked gems and never heard before material, mined from the last 30 years of contemporary dance music are the order of the day. From Chicago, Detroit and New York to London and beyond. Mint Condition have got their digging hats on to bring you exclusive heat and those rarer than rare jams that have been in your wants list for years. Dig in....

Set against the backdrop of Birmingham in1990, a 17 year old Peter 'Doggy' Duggal, inspired by Cybotron and Kraftwerk, would escape to his bedroom with the few pieces of musical hardware he'd collected, spending days eking out what sounds those machines could produce, thankfully Peter remained resolute and what resulted was his first EP 'Psyche' originally released on the pioneering UK label Rham! Records.

'Psyche' itself is an absolute gem, an infectious and unrelenting bass-line drives the track, while dystopian chords and strings populate the higher end. Next up previously unreleased 'Haze' heads into breakbeat territory, a sparser live jam recorded straight from the desk, but there's no shortage of bass bin rattling sub-bass, bleeps and emotion here. 'Dog Food's ominous intro gives way to pounding drum machine rhythms, more incessant bass, melancholic melodies and subtle breakdowns that keep the warehouse energy flowing. Rounding off this EP is the previously unreleased 'Psyche' (Alternative Mix), adding subtler bleeps, another genre defining classic that would give the original mix a run for it's money anywhere.

''Psyche' has been legitimately re-released with the full involvement of Peter Duggal and features previously unreleased tracks and never heard before versions that Peter has unearthed from his DATs. This is an essential archival piece, lovingly remastered by London's Curve Pusher from the original sources especially for Mint Condition. 100% legit, licensed and released. Dug, remastered, repackaged and brought to you by the caring folks at your favourite reissue label - Mint Condition!

Melbourne producer Pugilist hitting hard with a four track EP for these dark days.. As you may be used to by now on 3024, the artist showcases his wide ranging pallette of styles and flavors, and "Blue Planet" is no different. The title track is a slinky UKG informed dub roller reminiscent of early Shed. Acid Flange is a menacing 8am (or later) track for the deeper dancefloor or headphones. Pugilist's collab with Tamen is on a uplifting dnb tip and as a digi only extra we have "Quick Fix", a slinky Detroit electro piece.

Apotek Records takes a conversant and pliable approach to this Dialectic EP. Jerome Sydenham opens the technological fray with the title track "Dialectic". Deep swinging rhythms coupled with a deeply rooted dub vocal truly define its essential neoteric sensibilities.
Jerome Sydenham's remix of Macroism's "Drone" is a prime example of take no prisoners Berghain Techno - pure rumpus.
The B-side introduces the sophomore single from hot new Berlin talent Non Reversible. The track "Kuro" is absolutely unapologetic in its discharge of nebulous dark thunder techno. Powerful! On the last cut, Jerome Sydenham gets back behind the splicing desk, breaks out the razor blades and deftly edits the Echoplex classic "Pitch Break". The results is transcendent hypnotic techno bliss.

Already a well-established presence on the outlandish fringes of experimental, alternative and dance music, celebrated Israeli duo Red Axes make a surprise left-turn onto Phantasy with a three-track 12', 'Sipoor'. Unsurprisingly, the results are as pleasingly out-there as the occasion requires.

Following on from last year's self-released LP, 'The Beach Goths', 'Sipoor' immediately announces the Axes' uncompromising return to the front and centre of the dancefloor with the raw, provocative 'Bad Time Story'. Brazen, brash acid triggers this particular tale, as Red Axes briskly modulate their way through a ruff, tuff but never less than musical landscape of 303s and 808s.

'Sipoor' takes a more gradual approach to building offbeat rave tension, featuring an unknown male using his native tongue to request some kind of house, some kind of techno and some sort of release. His wish (and we hope, yours) is the Axes' command, as the music goes deep before seamlessly unfolds around a throbbing bassline and a playful, familiar keyboard sample, beckoning feet to the dancefloor and perhaps tongues ever so slightly to cheeks.

Concluding the 12', 'Teroof' takes each of Red Axes' signature ingredients - deeply rhythmic EBM-inspired drums, spiralling electronics, unapologetically odd vocal distortions - and reconstructs them amid what sounds like the Monaco Grand Prix, as high-velocity motors speed past the soundscape, kicking up some serious dust. Red Axes 'Sipoor' drops on Phantasy Sound in 22nd June 2018.

At summer’s peak, all-wise grampy Herbert delivers some fresh vibes and showcases the hottest discoveries on his ninth compilation. IVAN MASA from Italy starts off with NEON, a gorgeous melodic time-machine made of plain groove, 80ies synth-feeling, dreamy melodies, rich breaks and a fascinating bassline.

ACADO take you on a colorful ride on their ALPACA along the boarder to tangible reality, through thickly overgrown soundscapes and a lusciously dripping groove.

DARKSIDEVINYL’s TANZANIA combines a futuristic leadsound from another galaxy with relaxed percussions and takes you on a gentle glide over the dancefloor. ANDREA CARROZA throws in ABAYOMI, an ethno-mood-track that touches body and soul, packed with clear chords, a tight bassline and uplifting breaks.

The time has come for us to present you with what is probably our most anticipated record to date. Bearing the catalogue number DT004, Casiopepe EP was originally set for release in the Summer of 2020, but got swept away by the pandemic whirlwind of production issues and broken dreams. We couldn't simply let this one slide into ob-livion, however, and so finally here it is, every sound teeming with hope and joy. Casi-opepe is the lovechild of two experienced producers and good friends working between Warsaw and Berlin. Together, they create addictive, masterful and un-mistakably Euro-leaning dance tunes, as is evidenced on their eponymous release, where echoes of trance, acid, and continental disco are moulded together - with a touch of nostalgia, but with a decidedly modern execution. Big snares and big break-downs that melt hearts and spark real jubilation - what more could you want from a dance music record? The cover art - an exemplary exercise in typography - is the work of Artur Ole? (aka Chino). Fall in love to the sounds of Dom Trojga.

Head To Toe boss Ninetoes is next up on the famed Hot Creations as he makes his debut on the label this March. Geared for the dancefloor, Same Same is a solid two track release that sees the German native at the top of his game.

Title track and A-side Same Same is a bonafide feel good anthem that packs a heavy punch. Uplifting vocal samples lead the way over the rolling, minimal undertones. On the flip, Feel It kicks in with a deep and swinging bassline as subtle vocals drift in and out amidst dark, melodic keys.

Hailing from Stuttgart, Ninetoes arrived on the house music scene back in 2013 where his track Finder took Ibiza by storm. Releases and remixes soon followed on acclaimed labels such as Moon Harbour, DFTD, Crosstown Rebels, Avotre, Saved, Suara, Mobilee and Play It Down to name a few and were supported by the likes of Loco Dice, Carl Cox, Jesse Rose, Luciano, Davide Squillace and Koze. 2019 saw Ninetoes launch his own label ‘Head To Toe’, where the break out track for the label became one of the top 10 Shazam’d tracks in Ibiza that season. This year shows no sign of slowing down with a string of new music on the way.

Here we go with Keinemusik's newest release - it is already number 47 and going by the lovely title "Hand In Hand".
Rampa is starting things off on the A-side with "For This" - a collaborative effort together with Berlin born and London based singer Chiara Noriko. Then there's Reznik - up to this point being in the picture as the DJ only fella - chipping in "Schuhu's Groove". &ME is opening side B with "Fairchild" and yet another sophisticatedly laid out floor epiphany, showcasing his ability to shape monolithic yet soulful peaktime masterpieces. And finally we find Adam Port on B2, pursuing his knack for lost African treasures. Once again he finds the source material in an old traditional by Quim Manuel O Espirito Santo.

Who would have thought that Gerd Janson and Phillipp Lauer, aka The Tuff City Kids, delivering a 'Rocker' mix for Alter Ego, wich is not only one of their best up to this date remixwork, but also probably one of the biggest electro-summerhits in 2016. The Tuff City Kids production work is quite similary eclectic like in Roman Flügel and Jörn Elling Wuttke's original version. They know exactly how to juggle with different styles, until they come up with a fresh new sound that transforms an ordinary rave into an unforgettable happening. In this case they are mixing real performed krautrockdrums, 90's prototrance-balearicstrings and an unexpectedly new, enthusiastic way of working with Alter Ego's trademark melodyhook. This melody-theme is dripping formally out of every programmed bass and synthesizer line without beeing to cheesy, superficial or over the top. Even their 808 electro-remix for the track Gate 23 is keeping to the premise of the legendary New York punk rock band The Ramones, that a good party track should not illustrate the effects of psychedelic drugs, the music has to be the pill itself. The rich details and playfulness of the mixes are showing Gerd Janson and Phillipp Lauer as real fans of the original versions. In the same spirit, they are trying to melt pop-appeal, art-sensibility and clubhit-function in one piece of vinyl.

Turbo pulls out amazing vinyl-only remixes from Red Axes and Johnny Aux to go alongside a massive acid version from Martinez Brothers.

Informations : Samantha Poulter aka LOGIC1000 is back with a 4 new song EP „ You’ve got the whole night to go“ , mixing House, Garage & Bass. Her New EP is considered by medias such as Pitchfork as one of the hottest new releases of the year.

Whilst the club setting may feel detached from many of us at this time, Secretsundaze’s forthcoming release, courtesy of the Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange, will transport you back to the depths of the dancefloor’s energy. A three track EP which is sustained by Ziggy Zeitgeist’s rhythmic consistency on the drums – his scintillating live performance at Church of Sound in August 2019 caught the eyes of the label, leading to the fruition of this project.

Ziggy’s impressive artistry is demonstrated by his ability to inject club levels of energy into his live performance, bridging the gap between the jazz influences from his work in 30/70 and the broken-beat elements of ZFEE.
His sonically ambidextrous ear has culminated in this compelling piece of work. Having met Berlin-based artist Wayne Snow at a record shop in Neukölln, the pair started jamming together at a converted office space in a building that was attached to a techno club. Their afterhours sessions were mixed with spontaneous trips to the club, allowing Wayne’s soulful vocals and Ziggy’s broken drum patterns to seamlessly merge with the darker, more heavy textures of the club environment.

Wayne’s silky offering on Something Special allows the serenading seven-and-a-half-minute meditation to unravel gradually, enchanting the dancer with its harmonious house beat, accompanied alongside interweaving melodic layers, from Finn Rees on keys, that build its trance. The spaced-out quality of this joint is followed up by the more hard-hitting Kreuzberg Kix, which Ziggy recorded in Berlin with his Melbourne crew throughout a week in the summer of 2019. The congas of Javier Fredes dictate the track’s tempo, allowing the live element to remain felt on top of the bass of Matthew Hayes. Lewis Moody’s keys create a multi-palleted sonic landscape, echoing that of Yussef Kamaal, injecting a loosened groove that neutralises the song’s heaviness.

Long-term label friend and NYC-based virtuoso GE-OLOGY exercises his brilliance on a flip of Kreuzberg Kix. He uncompromisingly instills a murkier club sensibility upon the soulful jazz foundations of this track, allowing the deeper textures to dominate with a rhythmic ease.
This gripping project incorporates a sonic width that will simultaneously appeal to the house heads whilst resonating with the jazz folk too. Secret Sundaze have delivered with bold execution, interlacing faraway musical elements with an effortless poise. A deep hitter for the dancefloors that beckon.

While our lives are being set upside down due to a crazy amount of events, from climate change to eco-political re-assessment with crisis and pandemic emergencies a new spiritual era is approaching us. Rituals as well as magical practices are what we really need to learn how to go through this and be born again. We need to look inward and seek the truth that we can neither find in the outside world nor inside the digital one.

Recondite, a long-time friend of the label, returns for an introspective outing.

The German producer has a storied history with Afterlife, appearing on the early Realms Of Consciousness compilations and releasing the Rainmaker EP in 2018, as well as numerous performances at Afterlife events all over the world. With the Bird EP he presents two tracks with contrasting themes that complement each other, demonstrating his technical ability and emotional intelligence.

We salute our 20th release by returning to where it all began: with one of SCDD’s co-conspirators and the inaugural release for the label, Mall Grab.

Steel City Dance Discs Volume 20 dons four tracks packed with MG’s synonymous energy and attitude – serving as a beacon of light amongst the swamp that be.

The Stone Tape EP is the fourth record in Session Victim’s Pen & Paper series and sees Matthias Reiling’s first solo outing for the vinyl only imprint. Three original cuts betray Reiling’s fascination with the mystic and occult, elevating the listener’s perception and sending dancers into a spiritual and physical seance. Fellow Sorcerer Leafar Legov’s coproduction and Erobique’s enchanting Melodica on Tarot Nouveau and Ouija Dub add more layers of depth and an extra set of black magic spells to the whole. On top of that, italian beatsmith Broke One stuns everyone at Pen & Paper with his remix of the title track “Vibrate", boosting the original with an intense rhythm section and finally lighting up it’s dark path with warm and hopeful harmonies. Vital Sales Points: Matthias Reiling is one half of Session Victim and has released his solo material under his own name on labels such as Giegling, Retreat and XK.

Welcoming this vibrant duo to Afterlife, Yotto & Stephan Jolk.
With distinctive but synergic sounds, both artists are renowned for their ability to imbue their music with rich musicality and captivating rhythms. On 'New Era’ we are invited to join an odyssey into the infinite field of consciousness.
Dance music with pure soul at its core.

New label, Subterranean Odyssey kick things off with a bang with their 1st release. 3 huge tracks from the rising Slovenian producer Eliaz which perfectly sum up both the label's vision and the artist's style.
Eliaz' energy instantly manifests itself upon listening to this record. The A side is a powerful 9 minute journey followed by two equally strong club-ready tracks. B2 is cut directly from Eliaz' live act from summer 2019.

The music certainly does the talking with this one, enjoy!

Constant Sound strides into 2021 with a fresh four-tracker from Casey Spillman, a rising star of tech-house whose impressive releases on Infuse and LOCUS still get plenty of plays. As you'd expect, there's much to set the pulse racing across the EP, from the clandestine thrills of opener 'Up & Away'- all warped analogue bass motifs, brain-melting vocal snippets, sturdy kick-drums and jazzy percussive fills - to the skipping, bass-heavy shuffle of deep house/tech-house fusion number 'Let's Go'. Sandwiched in between you'll find the paranoid, slightly foreboding 'Big Steppers', which reminded us a little of Orbital's more minimalistic cuts, and the deep space tech-house shimmer of 'Right Order'.

Wow! records is back with a fantastic package featuring tracks from Coyu, Negru, Audiofly & Alex Celler.

Danism makes their debut on Noir Music with the emotional
'Reciprocated Love' featuring the vocals of legend Arnold Jarvis.
We fell in love with this stringled and super smooth song from 1st listen at the NM offices. Deephouse like it sounded 'back in the day' and in general just a timeless effort by the Cambridge based guys. Deetron, Deux Tigres and City Soul Project deliver the remixes and all of them are spot on quality with a more clubby edge. So instead of keep hyping this brilliant release.... Let the music do the talking.

INCLUDING THE EXALTICS, VOISKI & DYNAREC RMX Sometimes you have artists that can electroshock you with a very good 12" and then after that they are not able to satisfy your expectations. Dynarec is one of those who is capable to impress each and every time that he delivers a release. Coming from France,Dynarec improves on even the most advanced experimental electro as no one did before, giving it depth, awareness and knowledge, making it more rigid and linear. A journey into those post Drexciya atmospheres which reach some of the highest moments in a new.Electro history..... Romantic and complex, rich in detail and unlikely to be imitated or surpassed by others on the contemporary new electro scene.
