After a lot of persuasion by myself to myself I've finally decided to put out a solo EP on my label. Delving and diving into the depths these three original tracks visit outer space, the deep ocean and the heavens. Each track emitting emotive under and overtones while gently transporting you away.
Tim Green joins the party with his remix of ‘Satellite Girl’ which rounds out an EP that makes you feel like someone has put their arms around you and given you a loving and warm hug. Social distancing isn't required as it's a metaphor.

When Pig&Dan decided to join forces, they began a truly prolific production schedule establishing their reputation as producers of pulsating electronic music that straddled dark house and high-energy techno, whilst creating their signature style of twisted and experimental breakdowns.

Since those early days, they have created a repertoire that not many can match and have constantly been releasing their music on the most respected labels and playing at the best events worldwide.

Pig & Dan make their entrance to Drumcode with a full force, four track EP. The 'Mexico EP' encapsulates Pig & Dan's well known signature sound with each of the four tracks bringing their own identity to the release.

The tracks, laced with driving kick drums, modulated samples and thumping bass lines, come together to create a heavy yet dynamic EP that prove Pig&Dan are masters of their craft.

Finally Raumakustik are back on Grain Audio and ready for the open
air season. So the boys deliver their contribution in form of a double

'Despojos cósmicos' ('Cosmic Debris') is Julio Tornero's debut at Femur. A plea in favour of dark, sullen, wretched, repetitive and miserable music. Four tracks swinging between mechanical dance, decadent experimentation and a trip to that place, which was abandoned long time ago.

Revered Belgian DJ and producer Mugwump proudly presents his longawaited debut album on his Subfield imprint. An impeccable nine track LP, informed by two decades as a globe-trotting DJ, producing tracks that have inspired everyone from Andrew Weatherall to Mr. Scruff. A mainstay from the Belgian club scene, on the ground in Ibiza in the early 90's, behind the cult Food Club in the late 90's, now running his own Leftorium clubnight in Brussels, with releases on the highly influential Kompakt label but also on R&S, Gigolo, Cocoon, Gigolo, Eskimo, Permanent Vacation or Throne of Blood... Mugwump has the CV to deliver one of the year's most eclectic and inventive studio albums, a timeless excursion into modern-day, leftfield dance-pop and mutant disco with heavy New-Beat influences. COPY 2 follows up Waitress' first release on Tape Archive, offering three tracks of pure energy, blending modern tribal percussive journeys and epic acid twists. A record built for the early dark hours wandering in techno warehouses.

Mariano Mateljan enters his 11th year of releasing left of centre minimal with a new one on thisisnegentropy that shows off his considerable vision. The title track is all playful bass, clipped kicks and slow slung bass funk that really pumps. Then there is the dark, more straight ahead and menacing sound of 'Benefactor' before the dubbed out loops of 'Subterran' with their alien sound sources and razor sharp hi hats. 'DBLR' closes down with a delicate melodic touch perfect for those druggy back room after hours.

Session Victim's new label adventure Pen & Paper sets it's sails with the boys' first original track since their 2017 album Listen to your Heart. Puzzle builds an intense groove from an array of mechanical and organic percussion and chunky 12 bit chordstabs over a haunted pad and noise backdrop. Closing the A side, VRIL takes the tune far out into deserted wasteland, steering his drumloops over chilly soundscapes towards a lynchesque string horizon. With not one but two versions, Iron Curtis claims the Flip all for himself and, well, excels, excels twice. B1 hits with everything a breakbeat can hit you with and it brings that exact kind of bassline along. Euphoric retro arps flush everything into enigmatic breakdowns to bring it back out and further. Mr Curtis finally brings the record into classy House territory with his Passagen Mix, embedding the original in between a heavily bouncing rhythm and an irresistible string section. Naïf 009 is the second in a series of five ep´s that are released around the release of the DJ-Mix-CD also named - naïf which has it´s release in April 2018
The second strike comes with two superstrong Techno tracks: - Lean Forward is a contribution by Nihad Tule that wil burn the dancefloors. Followed by - Not Now, Not Yet - a scratchy track from the hands of one half of Cassegrain: RHYW.
Side B heads into trippy territories with a heady, sparse but seductive groove by Marco Shuttle followed by a track from Efdemin in a collaboration with his close friend and fellow Konrad Sprenger (PAN)

After more then three years of silence as a producer, Efdemin a.k.a Phillip Sollmann returns with a striking hybrid concept that merges the album format with the continuous DJ mix' format, presenting completely new material in a seamless manner. The CD-mix, named Naïf, officially reinstates his label of the same name and is a sprawling tour of inner space featuring 19 distinct tracks from fellow producers along with an additional ten that feature Efdemin himself (either as soloist or collaborator). The release condenses his decade-long DJ-ing journey and evolution as a producer into a single potent elixir of contemporary techno.
Naïf consists of completely unreleased material from both himself and valued collaborators, all of which will eventually manifest as EP releases: five on his own Naïf label and two more on Curle.

As the world collapses, dragging its unwilling inhabitants into insanity, a few things, fortunately, remain true. The man who's contributed to the development of the JAK sound on behalf of the Nation community from Lake Michigan to the Dutch west coast, where he became well known for several EPs released on Creme Organization Records, is back. After two full-length albums, dozens of EPs and action in the 2AM/FM project, DMC has gained well-earned respect as an underground artist. We are very pleased to bring this little return to the JAK beat style.'

Being heavily influenced by the house sounds coming from the U.S. past and present it should not come as a surprise that Red D‘s WPH imprint is launching a new 12” series on which his favorite producers from Detroit, New York, Chicago and beyond get to shine in all their glory. A whole slew of Detroit and New York friends of the label have already confirmed to take part in this series, so good things await us!

But to kick things off we are extremely happy to present label boss Red D’s collaboration with Reggie Dokes, who has been a WPH regular since the very early days. Reggie Dokes and Red D a.k.a. RD² team up for three tracks full of electronic soul and analogue dirt, ranging from the ethereal beauty that is ‘Sharing Angels’ to the minimal dance of ‘Beyond Borders’ and the tribute to their respective cities of birth ‘From D To Shining D’. To complete the E.P. Reggie contributes the solo track ‘Birth Day’, bringing his trademark deepness to the table.

Time will tell if there was a better way to start this new series on WPH, but we are pretty happy with this one as it is. Stay tuned for more and enjoy!

After taking some time off due to the pandemic, Moteur Ville Musique fires up its engine and delivers a roaring vinyl only release just in time for summer.

Side A kicks off with a sensational remix by Mike Shannon as he takes us on a journey of grinding psychedelic funk. The Mole switches it up and delivers a chuggy groover that is strictly for the heads, if you know what I mean.

Side B begins with a deep, hypnotic, psychedelic remix by New York phenoms J Gabriel and Chuffy Buffy. And closing things off, Detroit hometown heroes Ataxia kick in to overdrive with a true techno banger with their Re-dub that screams warehouse rave! The sound of summer is here!

Since its birth in 2002, Truesoul has grown into a solid, dependable label. Known as Drumcode's little brother, Adam Beyer has taken Truesoul and twisted it into a platform for new and emerging talent to be thrust into the world of electronic music. Each release has its own unique identity and each track brings something new and unique to the label. The quality of each track is paramount and that has been proven with previous releases from some of the finest talent within the industry. With future releases from some of the hottest electronic music artists on the planet, Truesoul is positioning itself as a label to be reckoned with. Kevin Over was born in the heart of the Ruhr Area (Germany) in 1991 and began spinning the turntables when he was just 14 years old. Kevin's musical output is embossed by the warmth of the 90s and alongside rough house and techno cuts, creates unpolished groove buildings. Over the past year, many of the world's key Loco Dice, Nic Fanciulli, Maceo Plex, Delano Smith, Claptone are among some of his fans. Kevin Over's debut Truesoul release, Broken Jam EP, is a four track release packed with uplifting tech house beats, loud and defiant basslines and heavy vocals. Loaded with samples, synths and snares, the four tracks are each colourful in their own way. Expect to be excited by this EP - Over has really excelled himself and this is one not to be missed.

The Analogue Cops are back on Memento, after their acclaimed remix of Francesco Farfa “Synchronicty 13”, with “Lucretio versus Marieu Vol. 1”.
This will be the first chapter of a series dedicated to a tidy compromise-less selection of their most groundbreaking club oriented tracks. On Lucretio’s side, “Accelerating Osc” is a minimalistic relentless techno cut that explores algorithmic sequencing and the boundaries of real-time delay manipulation in Kyma; pounding away, “Neon 3” is a furious peak-time ride with jacking drums, sharp hi-hats and worrisome hypnotic synthesizers.
Marieu’s side is a slower paced groove affair focused on his distinguishing seductive use of sampling: “Alterate Indigo” festive bass line and enthusiastic cymbals blossom with an enchanting blues piano and an handful of filtered quirks, while “Room Mate” combine hot vocal hooks and a funky bass-line with a massive kick-drum.

House music veteran Joeski is back on Crosstown Rebels with In Dub We Trust. The heavy-duty two track release showcases the deeper and dubbier side to the producers capabilities yet withholds the signature Joeski style.

First up Lessons Learned gets to work with chugging beats, lusty horns and reggae style vocals. A powerhouse of a track, varied keys stabs are intermittently placed throughout to deliver a hypnotic effect with powerful builds and drops designed for that peak-time dancefloor. Next up Faded takes on a heavy, distorted bass with broken, skippy beats and infectious vocals.

In the continually evolving dance music world where trends come and go, Joeski has stayed at the pinnacle of the industry, keeping true to the original values he learnt playing in front of crowds at Limelight, Tunnel, Paladium, Nasa and at his first residency, the “Together” parties at the legendary Roxy in New York. Since 2001 his Maya Recordings has gone from strength to strength and releases have been heard on dancefloors from New York to Ibiza and beyond. Alongside the label, Joeski has also produced for well-respected taste-making imprints such as Crosstown Rebels, Defected, Desolat and Poker Flat.

After some quiet years Stilleben Records is back. This VA 12" goes on in exactly the same style as earlier records from Stilleben. A mix between electro and electro disco. Many records are planned and in the making right now for the future to be heard. This 12" has a nice mix from E.R.P's more 4/4 and harmonic melodies to more stiff electro-funk from up north. Here we go...

We live in a dance music world that constantly cannibalizes itself. Since something that once was only a sound and a feeling, got named, re-named and categorized, it became easy to reference a time, a place or a movement in a record. But: if you wanna bake a great cake, you got to stick to the recipe. Alan Dixon’s La Danza EP follows that line very well. You get Italo-House waves that would make Irma and Calypso records proud, washing over you, arpeggiated disco bass lines, boogie swag and a beautiful ambient composition that makes you dance without beats. The London based debut for Running Back is at the same time joyous, carefree, smart, bold and bittersweet. Four tracks for almost every taste and definitely the icing on any dance cake.
