Following the big success of the TMNG001 catalogue, label-head Yaya strikes back on his own label with another wicked release. His second EP called 'Unconditional Love' also features the first Tamango remixer ever and we're more than proud to have 'Panorama Bar' lady Cassy on board. The EP kicks off the things with entitled 'Unconditional Love' which features Yaya's typical trademark groove with some extra great tribal-drums contaminations combined with a great Caribbean-oriented female chant, giving life to a proper dancefloor burner. A2 is about Cassy. She has been into the music industry since 2003 when she moved to Berlin and she's fresh of her latest album 'Donna' on 'Aus Music' last year. She provides a beautiful and heavier interpretation of 'Unconditional Love', adding crisp percussions and pure analogic spatial pad, creating a dreamlike dimension surrounded by the massif utilization of pitched endless vocals. The B-side contains the dub version of 'Unconditional Love' for the ones who need a precise and outspoken tool without the vocal part. Closing the EP is 'Lone Wolf' which is the prove to dispel any doubt on Yaya's producing skills: the track immediately approaches into softer sonority with nimble analogic and syncopated synths and rapid drums, with hi-hats and shakers only, for another Tamango unmissable chapter.

With Salsal and Felix joining the squad, we're ready to hit the streets. From Mainz over Cologne to Berlin: there is no future for the riot kids.

Half Baked have had a strong year with releases from Sakro, Shonky, John Dimas, and SIT, but now they present something a little more mysterious from db jam.
While the name may be unfamiliar, you get the impression this is an inside job from the Half Baked family, and the sound certainly fits right in on the label. The A side track, "I Met A Leprechaun In A Russian Forest" locks down one of those impossibly smooth house grooves Half Baked's identity is built on, and then drapes that groove in the finest silken pad sounds.

What makes the track stand out is the playful cuts and samples pinging around in the mix, adding to the jam notion of the record. "He Told Me Bullshit" occupies the same sound world but heads in a slightly darker direction, which Arno then refigures into a shivering broken techno refrain suited to more spaced out moments in the cut and thrust of the party.

Circoloco resident Luca Cazal teams up with Italian talent Andrea Fiorito as the pair deliver their ‘What Is Music’ EP on Infuse this June, backed by a remix from Mariano Mateljan.

An Ibiza mainstay, with regular appearances at DC-10 for Paradise and his long-standing global Circoloco residency, See Double boss Luca Cazal has established himself as a quality and consistent force within the minimal house scene and beyond. An avid digger with an innate ability within the studio, Cazal’s career has also welcomed sets at internationally renowned institutions including fabric and Club der Vissionare, with late June now welcoming a debut appearance on Infuse alongside fellow Italian Andrea Fiorito. An artist driven by idealism, with a sound palette that takes in influences and productions from experimental techno through to lighter more delicate and orchestral sonics, Bari-based Fiorito has himself served up material via the likes of Housewax, Broquade, Get Physical and Cynosure to date, and here we see the two talents combine for the very first time to offer up ‘What Is Music’, accompanied by Infuse talent Mariano Mateljan on remix duties.

A-side opener ‘Tornado Girl’ is a groove-fulled rolling production armed with slinking hats, evolving basslines and warping lead synths, whilst on the flip, title cut ‘What Is Music’ delves deeper into darker, more paired back afterhours aesthetics with slinking organic percussion and sci-fi electronics throughout. To close, Croatian favourite Mateljan’s lively interpretation welcomes sharp kicks, distorted vocal hooks and haunting melodies, punctuating the package in impressive fashion.

REPRESS - Brand new single from Ms Kraviz giving us a taster of her forthcoming debut on Rekids. For "Ghetto Kraviz" Nina looks for inspiration on the other side of the Atlantic with stripped down drum-patterns, hand-claps a plenty and her monotone vocals.

The Jane Antwerp, celebrating its third birthday this year, is launching 'The Jane Vol. 2 - Depth Of Focus'. The vinyl is limited and contains amongst others 2 tracks exclusive to this compilation (Sue Avenue and Frankey & Sandrino), the classic TonyLionni track Found A Place and Making A Living, a house classic from 1994 by The African Dream. Fresh from releasing 'Body Electric' EP on Running Back in July, Deetron returns with a new compilation; presenting Photon Remixes. Four stellar re-imaginings of Deetron's iconic track from Carl Cox and Gerd Janson, the new release on Character Records is due out on the 25th October.

Originally out back in October 2014 on the same label, the track Photon on Deetron's Theory Of Light EP was a breakout hit, with avid support from both Cox and Janson, this remix package is a celebration of years of friendship and support.

Gerd Janson delivers three remixes, twisting the essential elements of Photon, he manages to create playful and varied takes.

Carl Cox ups the tempo on his remix, piecing together a dance floor workout full of punchy drums and broken keys.

Until recently, the legendary Ricardo Villalobos was the only one to remix acclaimed Norwegian folk singer Mari Kvien Brunvoll. Ricardo s -Celestial remix- of the track -Everywhere you go-, has been widely played in the underground music scene this year. The Italian Dj,Producer Marco Faraone, who s music has also made it into labels like Desolat, All inn and Moon Harbour, loved Mari s voice, and decided with his friend Piegaja, to Remix a different song called > Something Inside<, just for fun, himself and in his own DJ sets. UK techno legend Mark Broom returns to Rekids in February to release four uplifting cuts in the form of his 'Break 97' EP.

Mark Broom's musical career is certainly something to behold - with over 150 releases over the past 25 years, on top of regular gigs across the world's most renowned institutions, there's no doubting his work ethic and his influence upon the scene. A prolific artist and true pioneer in the techno world, having worked with revered labels such as Warp, R&S, Ifach and Soma, and in more recent times Blueprint, EPM Music, Red Sonja Records and his own Beard Man Records, his 'Break 97' EP kick-starts 2019 for Radio Slave's Rekids as the imprint adds yet another outstanding name to its roster following the likes of DJ Deep, Sebo K, DJ Spider and more.

'Break 97' sets the tone of the EP with a fusion of techno and disco, delicately blending funk-infused chords and resonating kicks amongst groove-filled vocals, before 'Heart' delivers inspiriting disco samples, punchy low end and elevating strings to reveal an effervescent aesthetic throughout. 'EFB' takes things up a notch, offering a dancefloor focused cut balancing rattling highs, vibrant synth flutters and a muffled vocal line, until 'G Theme' rounds out proceedings armed with robust percussion, electrifying vocals and undulating, euphoric keys.

Tibi Dabo returns to Crosstown Rebels with his second EP of the year The Distance We Share. His third EP will follow in the Autumn in advance of his debut album forthcoming in 2021. Globally revered American producer David Morales turns in two outstanding remixes that demonstrate contrasting aspects of his illustrious career.

The Distance We Share sees beautiful melodies standing both individually and combined to create an ethereal atmosphere. Starting with golden keys that drop into a twinkling lullaby, rising and falling throughout the track before ending with danceable energy. Komorebi opens with melancholic chords, the bassline moves at a relaxed pace over a rhythm of hi-hats and cowbell, sensual distorted vocals and delicate chimes induce a feeling of romance. The first remix of Komorebi from David Morales sees him add his legendary Red Zone stamp of New York influenced house music, building tension with darker tones, chugging percussion and hypnotic loops. On the Diridim Mix Morales turns the vibe to that of his newest label, with classic soulful electronics adding a deep sense of warmth.

Still in its infancy, the Tibi Dabo project from Max Guardans has seen his unique emotive take on electronic music and sound design catch the attention of influential figureheads. His debut release the Ende EP on Sasha's Last Night on Earth imprint demonstrating his remarkable talent. With his determined attitude and unrelenting thirst for exploration impressing respected tastemaker Damian Lazarus, he was immediately signed to Crosstown Rebels. His last two EP’s Her Moon and Disbelieve on the imprint, initiating a run of unrelenting form that marks the start of big things to come.

Alinka makes an eagerly anticipated return to Crosstown Rebels with the outstanding Control Transmission, her last appearance on the label featuring in 2016 collaborating with Shaun J. Wright. This solo release demonstrates her versatile sound that is inspired by her experience in scenes across the world.

Control Transmission begins with robust 909 drums as the claps resound with force. The bass, a razor-sharp, distorted and filtered charge is introduced commanding attention, further electro inspired samples and effects are layered in this powerful track. Day Zero captures the spirit of the Mayan jungles, with synth that propels with energy, ebbing and flowing with mystical chords that give a nod to the famous festival spearheaded by Damian Lazarus.

Born in Kiev, Alinka has a unique power on the decks and in the studio, influenced by the city of Chicago, with toes tipped in Detroit techno and Europe’s key cities. Immigrating to Chicago with her family as a child she immersed herself in the scene, digging for records and becoming resident for Justin Long’s Dotbleep party at Smartbar. In 2012 an impromptu meeting with former Hercules and Love Affair vocalist Shaun J. Wright changed her life. The pair launched their Twirl parties and label whilst continuing to evolve their collaboration.

The result has been an impressive catalogue of material from, with music featured on Jackathon Jams, Crosstown Rebels, Leftroom, The Classic Music Company and of course Twirl. Now living in Berlin, Alinka has used this base to play at parties across Europe including the likes Panorama Bar and Circo Loco, whilst regularly returning to the US to play for promoters such as Ladyfag. 2020 will she Alinka’s evolution continue, with a packed schedule of releases and her newly launched label Fantasy Life.

Das Komplex joins up with the King Of Kong imprint to release four soul-infused tracks entitled ‘Reverse Hallucination’.

After spending years as a bedroom musician and occasional DJ Marcin Lukaszewicz, modest producer from North-Western Poland known as Das Komplex debuted four years ago on local FASRAT label. Since then he became one of the most respected Polish producers, releasing an album on Catz’n’Dogz’ Step label, as well as singles for Young Adults, Love On The Rocks or People Must Jam. His very singular, hazy breed of sample- based house-derived music made its way to sets of numerous high-profile DJs (from the late Andrew Weatherall to Axel Boman), eventually making its way to no other than DJ Harvey, who invited Marcin to play at his Pikes Ibiza residency, and included one of his tunes on his recent ‘Mercury Rising’ compilation.

Das Komplex comes to King Of Kong with a new package of mind-bending yet club-ready tunes, proving his skills as master of contemporary disco music with a romantic twist. ‘Maybe There’ starts slowly with a lazy, syncopated beat only to introduce a bass riff of mammoth proportions, which carries the track for its 8 minutes - by the end reaching a proper dancefloor momentum. ‘Stay’ starts with a piano melody and hazy synths to be transformed into an epic, 10-minute mid-tempo disco groove, with live instruments and angelic vocals, a neon-lit lullaby for early morning hours.

‘Lagos’ takes a slightly darker route, but even here a heavy, percussive groove is brightened by bursts of uplifting piano, while ‘Sounds’ keeps the hazy vibe going, with layers of unintelligible voices over a smoky groove..

We welcome Ricardo Tobar for his debut label release. It's an honour; Correspondant is the latest in an elite line of select labels that the cosmic Frenchman has worked with over the years such as Cocoon or Border Community.

Consistent in all compositions, it's another pristine trip into the interstellar unknown. Each track measured, weighted and laced with Ricardo's signature creeping dynamic. Unhurried, elements gradually make themselves known and envelop your senses without you realizing. Deep, mystic and singular; the perfect debut.

Something special: Frenchman Sebastien Bouchet is launching his brand-new Sebastopol project. New name, same deliciously deviant electronica: his debut is compiled with serious detail and a cool coherency of humanised textures, trippiness and barbed, shadowy soul.

'Assassin' shoots to kill with its pranged-out toplines, gloriously wonked-out bass hooked and slurred vocal elements while
'Manethon' trips out on a broken note and melts into one of Sebastien's most magically far-out breakdowns to date.

The remixers echo his unique creativity with two suberb versions: Alessandro Adriani whips up dense layers of psychedelic tech on 'Assassin', while Privacy adds a gritty physical crunch to 'Manethon'. Bringing the whole package together with a range that will resonate with all corners, this signs the start of a whole new chapter for Sebastopol. We can't wait to hear what he brings next.

Time flies when you're having fun! Now is the time to look back at the success of the last years, which have included a couple of overall number one records. The label has enjoyed signing and growing together hand in hand with some of the biggest names in the scene like Mat.Joe, Superlover, De La Swing, Illyus & Barrientos. A label from friends for friends! The tracks have been remixed and edited by Claptone, Purple Disco Machine and Audiojack to name some hightlights.

And here we are now, MOTHER 100 delivers two special and huge remix packages. Part 1 includes DANNY HOWARD and PHIL WEEKS on remix duty, enjoy! Dhaze featured on Metroline Limited 76 (with Sabe) as well as on Amam, Little Helpers, Body Parts & more - Remix from Spanish producer Medu (Dissonant, Wavetech Ltd) Short info: For release number 80 we welcome back Italian producer Dhaze. Hailing from Rome, Dhaze started his self-thought experimentation with electronic music in 1996 when he bought his first sampler. His productions have seen the light of day on several undergound labels such as Amam, Little Helpers, Bla Bla, Body Parts, Inmotion and plenty more! Of course Dhaze has also already released on Metroline Limited, with fellow Italian producer Sabe, on the stunning Metroline Limited 76, Full Force EP. The EP opening is the 'explicit' Subatomic Pussy. The groove shuffles away with a clever use of drum patters and crispy hats. The mood is dark and disorienting, almost sinister with some crazy cavernous Green Velvet-esque vocal snippets that make their presence felt every now and then. And if the dark grooves of the openeing track weren't heavy enough, the following track, Waterdrip take the tension up a notch or two! The track is a relentless groovy monster, one for the darkest moments of a tech-house set but also suitable for the most obscure hours of Berghain! Not for the faint hearted! :) This time on remix duty we welcome Spanish producer Medu. Having loved his latest productions both on Dissonant and Wavetech Ltd we though about asking him to rework Subatomic Pussy and the result is excellent. Medu stripped Subatomic Pussy down to it bare elements but menaged at the same time to re-create a similarly hypnotic and driving peak time techno number! As we like our EP's to be 'all killers' and 'no fillers', to close this release in style we decided to include the incredible track 'Hardware In Love'

This is the long-awaited second installment of the layer series by Eqwel and Jeff Thompson is to soon come. The fifirst release amd all releases that are part of this series is always minimally processed, using less compression with higher sample rates. The primary side has been cut with Eqwel’s original version, which carries on his style of artistic creativity. The track is layed with hard rhythm’d kicks with illustrious soundscapes incorporating sticky basslines. On the flflipside, track one is Eqwel’s answer to a club banging version of the original creation. This track starts strong and ends strong and the events that happen in between is beautiful and uplifting! This is defifinitely a banger for the clubs, that can be incorporated at the peakest of your sets. The fifinal track has been taken from Eqwel’s ” Audio Telemetry EP “. As always, these tracks are recommended to test and push your sound system!

Ferox welcomes the return of Alejandro Lopez's Hoax Believers for his second EP on the label. Following an EP for Spanish imprint Fanzine, Alejandro returns to Ferox with these four tracks of hi-tech funk, fusing Electro with the sound of Detroit via Madrid.

Bringing together two heavyweights of Techno was always going to result in something extra special and Systematic Recordings have done just that as label chief Marc Romboy joins forces with Tokyo based Ken Ishii on the epic Album "Taiyo." "Taiyo" with its cinematic atmospheres combined with futuristic Techno rhythms (as you would expect from them) is much more than just another electronic Album. It´s a trip, a journey, a catching dream sequence, with other words a long player expressing the concept to combine the creativity of two minds from two different culture areas, that is to say Germany and Japan. Marc: "Cooperating with Ken has been an incredible time and new experience to me. He came up with ideas, sounds, sequences and melodies I would never have had. The Daniel Avery supported Russian DJ Dimitri Veimar preps his debut 17 Steps release, the ‘Planet EP’.

Planet opens up with screeching atmospherics, chuggy percussion and a brooding bassline that works it’s way towards a breathless synth line perfectly suited for pre-dawn hours.

Dean Grenier’s classy stripped back and sped up flip of the title track retains a crisp four-on-the-floor rhythm tailor made for the Berlin clubs he calls home.

On the B side 'Snowfall’ carries on where the A side left off. Electro synths and muffled breaks portray the sounds of a UFO control deck transporting the listener to an other worldly utopia.

The closing track ‘Alps’ is a stunning downtempo club tool that ends up forming the emotional centrepiece of the EP.

Drumcode returns with its 6th installment of the internationally celebrated A-Sides series. Renowned for fostering a shared space between industry tastemakers and rising talent alike, the careful curation that goes into each volume is a fine example of why Beyer's brand continues to go from strength to strength.

Techno titan Adam Beyer has grown Drumcode into a force to be reckoned with; the label has become synonymous with forward-thinking, functional techno and even after 20 years, Drumcode continues to find new boundaries to push, and ways to solidify its legacy as the world's number one techno label.

2017 is no exception, with Beyer's imprint hosting it's first stage at Tomorrowland, not to mention the expansion of the critically acclaimed Junction 2 where the Drumcode stage is the centrepiece and Adam plays the key role of festival director. The Drumcode phenomenon continues to grow each week, chiefly fuelled by Drumcode Radio, Adam's radio show that's broadcast in 57 countries via 86 stations and to a global audience of 16 million techno fans per week.

The A-Sides series acts as a perfect vignette of Drumcode's cutting-edge sound; functional yet inspired techno, all tracks tried and tested by Beyer himself. Vol. 6 continues this tradition with a collection of 16 multi-faceted cuts from a mixture of both emerging artists and experienced label friends.

The heart-throbbing bass in Amelie Lens' electrifying piece 'In Silence' sets the tone for the dark and dance-floor-ready energy that Vol.6 carries the whole way through. Other standouts include Mars Bill's rough'n'ready 'Mohave'. Pulsating and precise, 'Mohave' has highlighted many of Beyer's sets recently as has Wehbba's monster track 'Fake', which fans have been anticipating the release of all year.

Label-favourites Dense & Pika also feature on 'A-Sides' Vol. 6 with their hard-hitting 'Just a Beat' and a huge track from Beyer himself who has joined forces with Enrico Sangiuliano to bring us their undeniably infectious 'Preset Heaven'.

With many more notable selections from the likes of Julian Jewell, Timmo, Tiger Stripes and Pig&Dan, A-Sides Vol. 6 is another impressive addition to the label's prolific release roster and a testament to why Drumcode remains at the forefront of the electronic world.

DUNGEON MEAT are back with the 2nd instalment of their Weapons Of Ass Destruction series featuring another 3 killer club cuts ready to detonate any dance floor . Featuring Honey Dijon's sleazy house jam sounding like the love child of Terry Francis and Derrick Carter while Desert Sound Colony comes in hard with a futuristic speaker freaker that will heavily wobble the bassbins and people's chins with it's killer bass line .... Then to round off the EP we have Slapfunk's Danielle Temperilli dropping a sleazy UK Garage stepper that pushes the sound further into the future and is sure to get those gun fingers firing all over the dance floor and a few rewinds here and there . Once again Dungeon Meat give the DJ's plenty of beef for their bag and deliver another chunky selection that will surely do the damage .

Banoffee Pies Records ninth edition to their original series lands on BP009 featuring Vancouver duo Plush Managements Inc. aka D. Tiffany, rising producer and label manager at the wonderful Planet Euphorique, and Regularfantasy of Total Stasis, with their sub heavy trance state track with rolling hi hats "Plush Egg” on the A1. The A2 comes from Kiev born techno artist Voin Oruwu who joins with futuristic break beat drum rhythms and swirling vocal hook on “After All". The B side takes a darker turn with raw and clean dance floor garage from another Bristol local, Hartta on “Trust Issues”. The B2 ends with experimentation from the classically trained UK musician Keppel, with game like soundscapes in “Atari”s accelerating cinematic instrumentation. Music for the floor. One love, BP x

Carlo Ruetz has built a strong reputation for his particular brand of precision tool techno. The Rostock-born producer and DJ has been making waves since taking the Beatport minimal techno charts by storm and turning the head of tastemaker Richie Hawtin. Welcoming him back to Oliver Huntemann's killer Senso Sounds, 'Hypersonic' is a four track EP of rare quality. 'Don't Know' kicks it off, a bruising, powerful cut that combines a tough-as-nails rhythm section with bubbling, acidic vibes. EP title track 'Hypersonic' ups the ante even more - driving drums provide the bedrock for expressive percussion and a devastating bass pulse. 'Simultan' continues the party - a tech-house monster with filthy sub bass waves and firing rhythm track. The digital bonus track 'Rover' is a stripped down burner of a track with laser cut grooves and thick, atmospheric synth stabs that echo around the audio field.

Today burgeoning band Drew X Hill announce details of their second stunning EP 'Bullets', revealing the first track by the same name, and the tracklisting for the EP in full.
2014 saw Groove Armada Deliver an exceptional Italo 90s piano house remix for 'Talk To You EP' which was heard at every festival and terrace during the summer...'Bullets' is slated for release in May on their label home of the forward-thinking Born Electric, which is headed up by DJ/Producer James Zabiela.
Lead track 'Bullets' is sparse, beautifully influenced by the likes of Royksopp, Moderat, Imogen Heap, Shlohmo & James Blake whilst Michele's vocal's are both haunting and compelling.
Hailing from Denmark and Cologne respectively, Michelle Drew and Philipp Hill's paths first crossed in an unlikely city on the South Coast of the UK. Their style is hypnotic, off-kilter and deeply rooted in electronica with the added edge of Michele's beautiful vocals; forming songs constructed from the heart that will later be complimented with some very special remixes made for the dancing feet.

Based out of Zurich, Switzerland, producer and DJ Idealist has become a respected figure in raw, dubby house and techno over the past six years via his releases on Echocord,Berg Audio and his Idealistmusic and Details Series imprints, picking up support along the way from the likes of Mike Huckaby, DJ Deep, Tini and Mandar to name but a few. After last years long player on Copenhagen's Echocord we see him again returning to his own label for the second EP of the Inverted Series.

Claptrap’s first release of 2020 comes from Longhair, a Berlin based project formed of two Renate residents Marko Pelaic (Homeboy) & Bene Bogenberger (1/2 of Peak & Swift). The release follows on from their 12" on Renate Schallplatten last year, alongside a previous EP for Bordello A Parigi and remixes for PBR Streetgang’s new imprint.
The Heatwave EP features 3 floor-ready original tracks plus a remix of the title track by Johannes Albert (Frank Music, Fine). The title track ‘Heatwave’ gets things off to a dreamy start with lush pads and a tight rolling tropical percussion. A2 '80s Haircut' follows up with a thumping four to the floor groove and hypnotic bass line to keep the floor packed. Johannes Albert’s take on Heatwave heads up side 2, turning the dreamy vibe into a more upfront euphoric prime-time house stomper. The final cut ‘Pizzamouse' a more relaxed slice of melodic house sees the release out in style with dancing rubbery synth lines which is sure to get those feet moving.
