House Vinyl New Releases - News

Adis Hotic, better known to the Underground Electronic Music world as Duky, has been in the forefront of cutting edge, timeless, innovative, daring productions, and this release appropriately entitled It's Getting Real' is no different.

It's no secret that Duky draws inspiration from other popular genres and effectively fuses them seamlessly into his music, resulting in something that can can best be described as deep, groovy, Minimal/House with a chunky Hip-Hop twist.

Starting on the A-side, this release begins a journey into human emotion and psyche, a journey that starts exploring a feeling of Reflection and Nostalgia with the originals It's Getting Real' & Endless Thoughts', Both showcasing a mesmeric melodic arrangement, which layers eclectic pads in perfect harmony with the groove structure of each of the original printed on this side. Add the use of a sultry vocal sample as showcased in It's Getting Real', the use of some exquisite organic Jazz instrumentation in Endless Thoughts' and that ever effective deep thick syncopated bass line, further contributing to the Nostalgic vibe....

On the flip side, Duky continues this journey into the exploration of the feelings of realization, acceptance & joy with the originals 4 Da Soul' & From The Beginning'. Both continue to showcase a flawlessly executed fusion of organic elements of Motown, Soul, Jazz and Hip-Hop in such ways resulting in two deep, chunky and groovy productions. A sense of joy and acceptance is explored in 4 Da Soul', when the sultry Motown vocals and a chunky 'four to the floor' beat hits syncopated ever so delicately with a warm round pluck bass line driving the composition through from start to finish, while sense of realization and acceptance, gets conveyed and further explored with From The Beginning', a smooth Hip-Hop instrumental, bringing this journey a befitting culmination.

A very Special release that promises to have you discovering something new each time you play or hear it.

DEVILS IN THE CLOUDS it is the main track of our 5th EP. The amazing way to mix choral elements with electronics made us in. This track moves you to the heaven, even if you listen it at a dance floor. That's why we've called it Devils in the clouds. We know you know that feeling

We are very proud of their exquisite fusion of the organic and the technological sides of the music. We love that.
The first listen leaved us with a huge smile on the lips and a thought:
Music does something for good, the rest almost nothing.

DOUBLE REALITY is a trip, we invite you to raise the volume, close your eyes and just enjoy it.

HATE THE GAME NOT THE PLAYA is an extra (digital) that we had to edit it to show the awesome versatility of Fausto as a producer.

13 is unlucky for some but this could well be the strongest Bokhari EP to date !Hardware fanatics Hiver illustrate the power of simplicity when matched with perfect production on their two hypnotic slabs of goodness.Lopkin's Theme from SAPL sounds like a missing cut from Autechre's classic Incunabula, and according to Laurent Garnier Speedbird Heavy is 'proper, deep moody Techno' What's not to like

"When winter comes, she disappears"

You have probably already lived a summer love story. Something short but intense,
where everything is destined to stop already from the start.

"Blow Up" perfectly describes this feeling.

Originally produced by Kid Francescoli, a french indie-pop singer from Marseille, this
song tells the real love story which happened between him and his singer Julia.

Melokolektiv and Konvex & The Shadow transform the original into an emotive
electronica track, combining hypnotic pads and chords with a syncopated beat and
cleverly chopped vocals.

This song will make you fall in love with it listening at home just as much as on a
festival dancefloor.

Shooting Star is a disillusioned, lucid and elegant reverie, an anthem to fragile and passionate love. Frag rewards us with multi-level of comprehension lyrics, stamped with subtlety and phantasmagoria. Some will sense the story of a man divided between his feelings, his desires and the reality of life, others will be moved by the poetic power of an artist whose lyricism enhances his doubts and his darkness. Konvex & the Shadow asserts its artistic vision made up with triturated, decomposed and recomposed living sound takes. It goes along with a solid groove and rhythmic and harmonic powerful patterns where the emotion is shaped to serve the Dancefloor.

Andre Crom pushes the limits of the DanceFloor with a captivating Remix which is in constant tension thanks to a full and magical baseline. The Djs will love this Peak Time oriented track, the vocal atmospheres keeping the poetic spirit of the original track without reducing the music energy.

It comes hard to say something about Spain's favourite duo Kyodai, the brothers have an impressive history of talent and timeless anthems, all impregned with their trademark finesse and their love for the perfectly crafted analog sounds. Paving their way to stardom with releases in Freerange, Local Talk and Exploited, they now deliver a pair of inspired dancefloor weapons filled with their flavor.

Marea EP

"Marea" is spanish for "tide", and as the oceans dance to the compass of our moon's gravity, their interpretation does the same with strong swaying dark synths creating a deep and hypnotizing climate perfect for the late night.

"Palma" goes even deeper as melancholic chords take on the scene building a rich melodic journey for the mind and soul. Arpeggios, a rich amount of analog sounds and a driving bassline play with the mind and soul.

The brothers have a special talent when it comes to making you close your eyes and fly to another dimension of sound. We are happy to have them with us!

It was in early summer 2014 when we released the first Nerdjack single and finally we have the possibility to continue our common journey. This time with the help of singer Robert Owens and remixer Detlef, who's release on Moon Harbour and ViVA have been big in Martin Eyerer and Rainer Weichhold's dj sets. This is smahing peaktime techno at its best, perfect to rock any open air stage.

Homegrown Label is back with their third release the Plan EP, from hungarian producer Reelow.
Reelow delivers three solid bangers with groovy basslines, raw drums & energetic effects which expresses his versatility as an artist but continuously staying true to his sound. We also welcome well known Chilean / Ibiza resident Francisco Allendes and rising Italian duo Just A Mood who bring us quality remixes to complete the release

First and limited yellow Wax from minimal kids. An initial showcase of a long series of underground beats cooked by the crew with a vector face on a yellow background.

With his long awaited debut album Madame' Sound Nomaden proves that his musical repertoire has far more to be revealed than just Electro Swing. He is a real traveller in the world of sound always searching for a new definition of music. The eleven tracks on the album combine influences of Swing, Jazz, Folk, Ska and even Classical Music with an up tempo club vibe and give us a new insight in the versatile work behind one of the leading DJ's and producers of the Electro Swing Phenomenon. As the consequence the album defines a new generation of electronic music where powerful synthesizer and heavy club beats fuse with acoustic instruments like accordion, piano, trumpet, violin, tuba, guitar, saxophone and clarinet.

WOW top house comp! Mantel Ramit and Piemont... TIP

Limited copies, vinyl only. Portugal's Helena label continues its run of deep-ocean expeditions with the latest release from Dutch producer Aleks.

QUIET DAZE is the softest cut, synth washes and dubbed out voices suspended over an all-enveloping bass pulse.

Choppy electro beats form the backbone for MOST U P as metallic notes and percussive hits spin off into the stereo field.

Beatdown is the name of the game on the flip, as PLUS and VIOLENT/MIND GAMES both ride a 4/4 thud under trip-inducing hats and dubby textures. Aleks' music is mirrored in detail by the beautiful sleeve art - this EP is the full package.

The 2nd single release of Alex Bank's debut album - Illuminate', like its predecessor features the inimitable Elizabeth Bernholz. - A matter of time' is an electronic dancefloor ballad. Shuffled kick drums and soft arpeggios make for a laidback groove while a warmly distorted analogue pad and corresponding bassline push the track forward into club twilight.

The record comes packed with a straight 4/4 remix by Frank Wiedemann of Ame and Howling fame, which unexpectantly evokes banging acid techno and its newer re-definitions. This is an evil Janus-head of an EP or should i say expect a brilliant Jekyll on A1 with a huge portion of Hyde on the Bside Either way, this record is definitely bipolar and gives you two for one.

2014 remastered version of this Carl Craig classic on Planet E.

As we slowly move towards springtime (hopefully) we wanna open the season
with a new combatant on the roster - Daniel Bortz. The young gun from
Augsburg is already known nationwide for his DJ-residency at the infamous
Rote Sonne Club in munich and his outstanding releases on Pastamusik.

Released on Damian Lazarus highly acclaimed Crosstown Rebels imprint 'Valor' tells a deeply personal narrative for Chilean born and Berlin based producer / DJ Dinky, her sixth album acts as a pinnacle to her steadfast and illustrious career and brought on a momentous change to her personal journey.
Esteemed for her work on labels such as Cocoon, Ostgut Ton ,Traum, Wagon Repair, Horizontal and Visionquest, and DJ residency at Berlin's infamous Panorama Bar for over a decade, Dinky AKA Alejandra Iglesias is a trained classical guitarist, singer and keyboard player. Her voice is an anchor to 'Valor', it's crisp definition loaded with intensity.
Tracks such as the driving single 'Casa' called out by US giants NPR for its 'gorgeously layered vocals' and the fragile layers of guitar and synths on cuts like 'Milk' make bold unions between sublime house and techno electronics and Dinky's live instrumentation.

Hissman jumps on for the latest Dog In the Night installment with four rockin house cuts. Known for his previous efforts on the Hardmoon London label, here we have Hissman continuing in the great House tradition with some massive dancefloor fodder. Go direct to "Paper Moon" for a shuffling discofied house monster or check the Power of God with its big juno bassline and 808 toms. It's all here with raw House elements in tact and the djs in mind. Big cuts!

In Mosca's own words, this release embodies "melting Miami, Rio, a field just outside the M25 and The Bronx into modern-day London."

Rebirth Records is happy to announce the signing of the brand new Pastaboys single 'Deep Musique' to be released in November 2014, to celebrate 20 years of their career.
United by a deep passion for house music, but especially by the desire to use the dance floor as an experimental sound (other than entertainment), Uovo, Dino Angioletti and Rame are working as Pastaboys since 1995, moving with confidence from classic music, to soul, blues and Latin jazz.
An intensive producing activity and numerous remixes realized with the collaboration of the most famous names: It would be enough to mention the rework 'I Love to Love' by Jody Watley with Roy Ayers, released by the prestigious MAW Records, or the various works on Strictly Rhythm and NRK or the super success 'Soul Heaven, produced with Bini & Martini as The Goodfellas. Or, just to arrive to our times, the remix for Stylophonic, Terry Brooks and the piece Joga Bola for the Nike campaign, and the inclusion in the Fabric compilation by the legend Carl Craig (who had appreciated the Italian trio for a long time), or the Eps 'Tribute', 'Limit' and 'Body Resonance' still discovered, loved and played around the world.
Also to mention the album 'Daylight in the Invisible World' released by Irma Records a few years ago with the collaborations from Osunlade and the vocalist Wunmi.
They are also running their label Manocalda and playing their personal sound in the most important italian and international clubs.

'Deep Musique' is a collaboration with Osunlade, an icon of the authentic 'spiritual' culture, and a Pastaboys supporter from a long time. A classic track that recalls the glory days of the 303, with glorious atmospherics pads, a penetrating bass and the catchy spoken vocals from Osunlade. Mancunian producer Trus'Me, owner of Prime Numbers, takes the original on a deeper hypnotic path: a simple and effective workout with techno influences.

Physical Therapy makes his debut on Spencer Parker's Work Them Records with a medley of club focused techno cuts.
Growing up in New Jersey, Physical Therapy later moved to Chicago, then New York, before finally settling in Berlin where he's quickly built a profile as a stand out DJ/producer.
Baktadust comes in the form of two tracks: the fast tempo main mix that combines peppy piano riffs and metallic effects, as well as a slower fried mix featuring cleaner chords and a sultry bassline.Push Me then demonstrates robust percussion, a rumbling low-end and eerie tremolo atmospherics before shadowy echoes and off kilter kicks conclude the release in Spasm.

Berlin's Ryan Davis has carved out a niche all of his own over the past 10 years, releasing exquisite melodic techno and electronica on revered labels Bedrock, Traum, and his own Klangwelt label. Along the way he's been championed by Sasha, Stephan Bodzin, Hernan Cattaneo and John Digweed, and collaborated with Max Cooper and Applescal. The 'From Within EP' marks his first original release on Anjunadeep following memorable remixes of Andrew Bayer and Olafur Arnalds.
The cinematic 'Paper Rockets' begins the EP in subtle fashion,
showcasing Ryan's talent for intricate production and mellow moods. 'Brun' a stand-out from last year's 'Anjunadeep 07' compilation has the hallmarks of an Anjunadeep classic, combining club-ready sounds with emotional melodies that tug at the heart-strings. 'Crawne' takes things deeper and darker, blending a chugging slo-mo groove with spacey atmospherics. Ryan takes things full techno on 'Undine' a peak-time cut laced with dystopian soundscape and driving drums. We return to cinematic ambience on EP closer 'Beyar', a stunning slice of deft melodies and vivid celestial samples.

Label mainstay Seb Zito provides the 'Ragg On EP' on the ever growing Fuse label. 'Run Along', the eps' vinyl only track is a superbly quirky roller and shows a side of the artist we've yet to see with a melancholic and thoughtful streak imbuing proceedings. 'Raggs' is a stripped back roller, flecks of affected vocals poke through giving the track a tripped out feel.
'Those People' round things off nicely, with it's chunky beats and skippy percussion bringing to mind the more classic side of Tech House from years gone by.

Sebastian Fleischer with his first release on Treibjagd-Records. Since the beginning Sebastian is a important friend and part of the "Treibjagd-Family", Sebastian is releasing his first own vinyl with a perefect cooperation of great Artists. D.Diggler, Sweet N Candy and Frank Müller aka Beroshima enchant you with their brilliant mixes and make this release unique!

Stephan Hinz is back for seconds and this time he's flying solo with his Throwl EP. These are two massive dance floor tunes that will surely find their way into every room scenario for the foreseeable future.

On the A side is the EP title track, 'Throwl' and Hinz does it again. Much like the huge hit 'Doch' from Hinz & Ruhmhardt's Panther EP earlier this summer, he's laid the groundwork with a giant kick drum, rolling bass and crisp hi hats, while a warm, distorted organ line relentlessly works into crescendo it never fully reaches. 'Throwl' creates a massive amount of energy by never going over the edge, but taking it right there. Another brilliant display of how real restraint works magic on a crowd.

For the flip side, Hinz goes peak time psychedelic with 'Ignite'. A big kick drum and tight hat lock the groove while a single note and pulsing pad build the tension until the main element reveals itself as just a few notes stuck in a warm, dizzying loop. As the lead intensifies, its repetition becomes increasingly hypnotic and the bass kicks back in. From here it's all eyes closed and all hands in the air.

Second State Audio präsentiert den ersten gemeinsamen Release der beiden Berliner DJ's Andreas Quiring und Frederik Laaser (aka The Reason Y), die beide seit Jahren feste Institutionen der Berliner Clubszene sind. "Creativity, craziness and Techno infused by pure genius are some of the key components of the duo "The Reason Y"." - Resident Advisor

An inconceivable selection of productions fused together into a unique and eclectic release, Re-Structured reiterates the undeniable fact that John Digweed and Bedrock records are musical visionaries, responsible for shaping and inspiring the paths of so many artists to date. Whether it be focusing on the future, or propelled by the past, John Digweed continues to be one of electronic music's most esteemed DJs, producers, and label bosses.

Driving forward from the releases of Structures One and Two in 2010 and 2011, John Digweed proudly announces his next showcase of all the styles and influences that have made Bedrock such an intrinsic element of dance music's tapestry.

Re-Structured is yet another exceptional milestone in the history of Bedrock records...

This the second of three vinyl samplers features tracks & remixes by Bedrock, Joeski, Montel & Electric Rescue....

Novoline makes music with equipment that was manufactured in 1988 and 1989, controlled via midi by two ATARI STs. As a sequencer he is using an algorithmic composition program that is 25 years old. With this program he creates sequences that he modulates live by shifting numbers and settings while recording. The process is improvised and contains a good portion of randomly generated melodies and drums, carefully selected and combined by Novoline. The Result sounds a little like something between a dark 80's sci-fi soundtrack and an endless marching New Beat Extended Version. Enjoy the ride !

Monika Kruse's label Terminal M was founded in the year 2000 and 13 years later it's now time to celebrate the 100. release. And we are very glad that our closest friends Andhim, Yousef, Paul C & Paolo Martini, Pele & Shawnecy and Darlyn Vlys celebrate with us with an exclusive track for this release. And also Monika spent some days in the studio for her very own submission to the compilation. Curious to hear your favorites...

A new member in the very small LGDZ-Family. Miajica is a young producer from Basel, who is known for being part of the also very young and fresh Alma Negra project. For LGDZ he made an Disco Edit of a well known classic on A and arabian-Bladerunner meets DAF track. MUSK did the proper 4/4 Treatment, to straighten this monster for clubneeds.
