Thema 46 was hatched from someone so deeply ingrained in the underground that he barely needs an introduction. From the hell scorched, pitch bent echoes of "The Final Revolution" to the lo-fi groove antics of "Distress Signal", DJ Spider proves once again that no one can do it as perfectly weird as he can.

Qalomota records is back with a release from the 2 foundators of Qalo-Mota. As usual QM is large and offer you different type of House. For This Cocktail EP you could dance on 'Hard to get' this track really influenced by NYC club scene. The old timer will pleased with 'Too far gone' reminisence of several tracks from Dj Pierre or Eric Kupper and as said Adonis 'Too far gone and no way back!'. Much like its associated club, Live At Robert Johnson not only features seasoned veterans, but likewise emerging talents and those already paving their way with quality productions. Victor’s production style tells much about his ongoing collaborations with one of bespoke veterans, Gerd Janson, providing countless remixes and edits as a tag team on labels such als Running Back and Permanent Vacation.

Taking their inspirations from a sonic array of UK Synth Pop, Balearic beats and Italo Disco, Victor Shan’s LARJ debut 4-track EP reveres nights spent at the Robert Johnson club: from the dancefloor to the studio. Lush detuned synths, deep basslines sometimes lingering down below, and upfront beats—they all catch the vibe of a wooden dancefloor to be found at Nordring 131 in Offenbach.

Alex Breitling opens the MAKASI EP on Monaberry with a wide groove in combination with a sparkling and dynamic arrangement. Bright breaks, lovely percussions, hypnotic flutes and powerful synths elevate MAKASI to an inspiring narrative. Angelov's "Jungle Vision" picks up the soul of the original and turns it into a catchy tune with an exciting voodoo outfit. David Mayer illuminates the deep side of MAKASI and converts the track into a pulsating road trip through the glowing hot club savannah. The second original track SIMBAWA by Alex Breitling rushes in a darker mood towards the sunrise and immediately invites some synth friends from the 80s to celebrate like never before.

30/70 and Rhythm Section team up once more to deliver their most ambitious remix package to date. Call outs to friends and family of the label and collective offered up a selection of some of the most exciting electronic music producers in the scene and the fruits of the collaboration have arrived.

The remix package continues 30/70’s practise of rebirthing their music in a contemporary club sound but this time takes that intention a step further, veering into unexpected and more experimental territory for the band, calling in a new era for their musical endeavours.

The record opens with a duo that need no introduction, label legends Chaos In The CBD work their magic on TLF, playing on Josh Kelly’s drawn out noir-esque sax notes and Allysha’s whispering tones to create a sultry and sophisticated house number in their typically infectious style.

Next up Utrecht native Carista enters with the sound of the Netherlands for a new wave electro trip fresh off her BBC Radio 1 residency.

Tornado Wallace takes us straight to a hot pink sunset on the long lost festival floor with his Red Face Mix of Tastes Like Freedom.

Closing out are the cerebral and ethereal sounds of Yu Su’s Midnight Blossom Remix, where the Kaifeng-born composer, DJ and sound artist continues her exploration of ‘fourth world’ ambience and left-field dance music.

Over the last few years, 30/70 have become something of a supergroup: with Allysha Joy, Ziggy Zeitgeist, Josh Kelly and Matthew Hayes all soaring as solo artists and band leaders. Individual talents aside, there’s nothing quite like the 30/70 collective united as one unstoppable force; and the synergy is
palpable in this tantalising tour-de force.

It’s ten down for Haŵs, and what better way to celebrate than to have Adam Pits step up for ‘Element X’, a relentless, cutthroat EP that will no doubt leave you gasping for more. With three killer originals and two first-class remixes on the menu, the musical craftsman and his guests deliver a rally of transcendent dancefloor moments exploring the true power behind tension and release.

The inaugural ‘Gazza’ – made in memoriam of the talented selector and Adam’s late friend Alex T – is a murky, cunning opening containing a rumbling bassline that plumes outwards like the smog over a late-night crowd. ‘Solar Wave’ provides a trippy fusion of acid and euphoria, cresting and diving with an irresistible peak-time groove. On the titular ‘Element X’, the pace slows right down to a nonchalant meander, taking delicate melodies and slinging them above a surly-faced beat.

Moving onto the remixes, DJ Central dismantles the exultations of ‘Solar Wave’ and revises it into a techy, taut number with a new magnetic drive. Priori’s final offering is delightfully subversive to Adam’s sound; his take on ‘Element X’ is both pensive and anthemic, with a keen sense of space and the sort of epic mood that could easily crown a culminating set.

All in all, no nonsense goodness from Adam and his team. We couldn’t think of any other way to celebrate this milestone. Indeed, the night is always darkest before dawn.

There is not much information to be found online about Bliss Inc., whose Hacking the Planet EP comes out on Radiant Love this summer. Beyond the fact they’re named Alexander and hail from Saint Petersburg, the project is cryptic – somehow this is fitting for a set of songs that could’ve fallen out of an obscure 1994 catalogue. This is the year of Robert Leiner’s Visions of the Past, Opus III’s Guru Mother, and Paul Oakenfold’s BBC-1 Essential Mix: an aesthetic region in which tech and new age spirituality braid together, a time before this synthesis reached Silicon Valley; while it still lingered in the rave, incredibly sincere, everything sounded kind of wet, and the efficiency of spirit was means to no end but a state of bliss.

What keeps Hacking the Planet from falling into pure nostalgia is its tuning – the palette of 1994 has been lifted and run through a delicate sensibility. The title track is a piece of buoyant, airy trance, with orbiting filters and a set of loopy, very vocal synths. It bumps along at 130 BPM, but feels slower because of the ease and clarity with which the track progresses. “Infinite” has got the aquatic motifs and soft, panning cymbals of a set-opener, or a comedown jam. The break that swings in after a minute-thirty feels less like a punctuation than another stream of sonics joining the flow. Picking up the pace a little, “Transitions” opens with a whir that could issue from a field of crickets or a stack of hardware. The entrance of the bassline was the first moment in this EP one could call nasty. But its drive and weight is also tempered, played against by a clever drum break, a run of piano keys, and the ethereal reverb-washed vocal sample we expect in a piece of classic mid-90’s trance – absent, however, is any kind of signalling to Goa, “exoticism” or indigenous aesthetics. (1994 was also the year of Jean Paul Gaultier’s Les Tatouages collection, which, for all its romantic nomadism and deft tailoring and syncretic spirit, has no need of a 2020 update).

Bliss Inc.’s songs stream, rather than track – one gets a sense that the elements flow in and out rather than ride a structure. Sansibar, who provides a remix of “Hacking the Planet” to round out the EP, is solidly a producer of tracks: often electro-derived ass-shaking material that hits, and hits in recognisable sections that progress serially. His version of the title cut brings in a hefty acid baseline, jungle-style stretched vocals, and kicks out of the 4/4 grid. But let there be no mistake, this is a producer also quite capable of coaxing delicacy out of hardware. The chimes of the lullaby-like breakdown halfway through the remix sound like nothing but a ghost in the machine.

Here’s something that will get your senses tingling: a 4-track release by Colombia’s number one house prodigy: Felipe Gordon. His ‘Highly conductive rhythms’ EP has the talented producer showcasing the depths of his sound with classy compositions ranging from jazzy deep house to funky acid.

Felipe is someone who you might call a prolific producer: he’s had 6 releases last year on labels like Shall not Fade, Local Talk, Lost Palms and Toy Tonics and this year he’s already dropped a handful of releases including his spectacular album “A landscape onomatopeya”. Despite this crazy release schedule, Felipe has made sure to deliver a stunning record for Heist, something he’s been dreaming of ever since he started making music.

The lush opener ‘Highly smooth tone’ features the jazzy work of Cuban horn player Julio Rigal, who delivers a sublime performance with his crackling trumpet work reminiscent of St. Germain’s 2001 album ‘Tourist’. There’s a deep bass and fine synth work to give the track some weight, which balances out perfectly with the chopped keys and loose drums.

‘Highly deep and conductive’ takes things even deeper. It’s warm pads and crunchy sub bass support a snare loop that feels like a marching band on its way to the nearest club. The subtle vocal chops (You’re gonna miss my love) are on point in defining the melancholic character of the track. The mid-track arpeggio and bumpy synth hits make for a perfect changeover in a track that breathes deep house to the fullest.

On the flip, Felipe delivers the acid drum workout ‘Highly corrosive acid’. This might seem like unfamiliar territory for the producer, if it wouldn’t have been so expertly crafted. We can almost feel the sweat dripping off the walls of the clubs this will be played in. If this is acid Felipe Gordon style, please give us more.

The final track of the EP is ‘Highly rhythmic pace’: a classic bumpy deep house track with chopped keys, bells, chants and a fair amount of grunt in the bass. This is a groovy finish to a well-crafted and amazingly varied EP. We’re glad Felipe got to release on Heist and this might well be the start of something great.

The sixth instalment from London imprint Nuances de Nuit continues their run of interesting electronic music with four new cuts from exciting artists, James Andrew, Nathan Pinder, The Trip and Tip Top.

Heading up the EP is Nothing But Nice co-founder, James Andrew. Following stand out releases on his own imprint and music on Voigtmann’s Subsequent he provides the groove-filled pumper ‘Reality Call’, packed with bouncy energy and heaps of attitude. Next up is Nathan Pinder’s ‘Stutter’, lush synth lines accompany spacey delays and energetic organ stabs, perfect for a mid-set energy raiser.
On the B-Side London duo The Trip drop a huge hit of peak time energy with ‘Big Trouble’ before Tip Top closes on ‘Control Alt Defeat’, a raw downtempo fusion of low swung analogue bass and spaced-out soundscapes.

In just a few years, Josh Butler has firmly established himself as one of house music's most revered talents. 2016 saw the launch of his label Origins, with Josh welcoming the likes of Marshall Jefferson, Todd Terry, Robert Owens and Santé to the imprint since, scoring his second Beatport #1 through his and Bontan's stand out 'Call You Back' in early 2017. Add to the equation EPs on Kaoz Theory, Rejected and Defected, collaborations with Kerri Chandler and Darius Syrossian, and remixes for industry heavyweights Carl Cox and Joris Voorn, and it's clear to see that Josh Butler is only just getting started. No wonder that Nick Curly and Gorge are very proud about his debut EP on their 8bit Records imprint.

Burnski's Constant Sound imprint continues its fine run of form via a rock-solid EP from prolific Romanian duo NTFO. Continuing the vibe of the pair's original recent releases, opener 'Metodic' sits somewhere between driving European tech house and chunky, melody-rich deep house - all restless bass, spacey aural textures, reverb-laden lead lines and crispy drum sounds. Flipside opener 'Adjuvant Register' opts for a warmer but no less impactful or hypnotic blend of tech-house and deep house elements, while closing cut 'Candva Cumva' is a forthright and funky take on the more intergalactic end of the tech-house spectrum.

The first solo EP on Nuances de Nuit comes from label co-founder, T. Jacques, featuring three original tracks and a remix from Small Hours boss, Youandewan.

The third entry into our catalogue is provided by our very dear Traumer. The frenchman has proven himself a true force in the electronic music community, seamlessly weaving his distinct sonic designs into memorable, ageless rhythms. His latest offering follows a prolific run of singleminded records, each one further developing on the minimal house theme he is laid out for himself. This EP features a condensation of those findings. Starting things off with >Diplo Douce Prima< and «Plastica» both explore the heady mindset to their fullest. To celebrate 20 since inception, Sven Väth’s Cocoon Recordings is serving up a special 15 track collection that brings together new and exclusive tracks from artists that have been a huge part of the journey. Presented as a deluxe 6 x 12" box set with a silver foil cover and paper insert with individual sleeves and luminescent paint, this is a suitably spectacular collection that pays homage to one of techno's finest operations.
20 years is a long time in any facet of life, but in techno it is eons. The genre evolves so quickly that staying relevant for even half that time is some achievement, so to still be recognised as one of the genre's most iconic and influential labels after such an extended period is testament to the vision of its founder Sven Väth. The popular character, much loved DJ and always innovative creative force started out with an early rave techno sound back in the late eighties that he has steered into much broader realms ever since. Thanks to carefully A&Ring a mix of red hot new talents and plenty of his original pioneering peers, Väth has ensured Cocoon has always covered all points of the spectrum: there have been hundreds of thrilling dance floor 12"s, a treasure trove of full length albums that have brought plenty of detail and depth to techno and multiple mix series including the annual Sound of the Season which distills Ibiza's latest trends into two vital CDs, and the annual alphabet compilations which showcase the label's finest moments.
Then, of course, there have been the parties, which have taken many forms over the years, from selfrun festivals like Green and Blue & Cocoon in the Park to carefully curated label nights at the world's foremost clubs via, most famously, their flagship and globally recognised Monday night parties in Ibiza at super clubs such as Amnesia. These very much introduced the White Isle to techno and in the 20 years since the first party have become family gatherings that have solidified the sound's presence on the island for ever more, thanks to the world class line ups, out of this world production, colourful characters and fantastical themes that have made each session so legendary.
Cocoon's unique brand of techno has always been at the heart for the operation and now, these brand new and exclusive tracks confirm that once again. Rampa kicks off with the jittery broken beat techno of '2000' and Emanuel Satie keeps the melodic vibes alive with his wistful 'Departure' and then Diynamic label boss Solomun serves up a rare new production 'We Will Never Have Today Again' which is a dramatic and epic groove with majestic synth work lighting up the bold drums. Gregor Tresher slips into a more slick and funky drum work out with 'Nostalgia (is The Enemy) and Joseph Ashworth's 'Eavesdrop' reaches for deep space with its distant synth swirls and astral atmospheres. Ninze & Okaxy`s "Blurry Mind" , a frame of their impressions & work , as sine qua non for every listener, and a memory of all their travels over the past year. For the last half a decade NINZE & OKAXY have been establishing a significant and experimental sound, self-branded Ketapop, by creating a spherical, yet melancholic atmosphere with a distinctive deepness and complex sound patterns. As part of the Laut & Luise family, and working their magic with side-project WIDE AWAKE.The Blurry Mind EP contains three unreleased tracks and plus the Soundcloud hit Four that is now officially published.

Nachtamt’s third EP embodies the same grainy texture, contrasting transitions in mood and tone, and intricate percussive sequences that are becoming the trademark of Nachtamt as a label.

Noone’s return to Nachtamt begins with the astronomical Digital Observation (A1), a mind-bending amalgam of pounding kick drums, oscillating synth stabs and industrious hi-hats. The surging bassline at moments develops an acid-house like quality to it, at times subduing to make way for gritty soundscape.

The topically named Brexit (B1) spans a dubby bassline, a techno oriented percussive sequence, deep pads, melodic bleeps and glitches. This track is a continuation from Digital Observation’s stylistic use of aural texture to convey atmosphere and mood.

At 128 BPM, Andre Kronert’s Brexit for noone (B2) is a heavyweight remix of the EP’s B1. Portraying the same atmospheric mood, this remix substitutes the dubby bassline of Brexit (B1) for a hard-hitting kick drum progression to create an aural quality reminiscent of an after-hours warehouse party.

The big man is back! Stefano Noferini, the man behind the Deeperfect brand. On this EP he is joined by the Florentine newcomer duo, Looad. Together the three collaborators deliver a four track EP of the finest quality club weapons. ‘Floating’ starts off in a manner that is instantly recognisable as a tough cut of Deeperfect’s signature stripped-back minimal. A solid beat is punctuated with sprinkles of tribal percussion and underpinned by a pulsing sub line. The second track, ‘Machine’, opens with a tight pushing beat that is joined by a rising bass riff that gives a definition to the groove and flow to the composition. The third and forth tracks “Cobalt" and “Wolf” completed the ep stripped back and hard hitting drum grooves paired with syncopated sub bass and carefully selected percussion sounds. A funky, energetic vocal weaves its way into the groove and is expertly affected to create tense moments of fun and excitement, which quickly suck back the dominant, pushing groove. The ‘Floating EP’ is both very unique and exceptionally functional and delivers a extremely original take on modern club music. A must have EP for a huge range of DJ’s and music fans alike.

Lopasura, on only its second release is evidently becoming a force to be reckoned with. Benedikt Frey's distinct rugged aesthetics toy with some conceptual ideas for each contribution; flirting with Greek mythologies, romantic legends and the idea of intricate layered meanings and rhetoric's for the EP as a whole. Gebrüder Teichmann's third album, - Lost on Earth , merges transcultural collaborations and electronic music between 90 and 130bpm. The album was recorded in a multitude of cities and countries including Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Nigeria, Kenya & Germany and features guest artists Abe Duque (NYC), Mc Psychotek (Bulawayo), Wura Samba (Lagos), Santiago Rodrigues & Signal Deluxe (Mexico City), Sasha Perera (Berlin), Max Turner (Noland) or the Kibera based art collective Masai Mbili. Crafted by jams and recording sessions round the globe, Lost On Earth captures the essence of a rough, pure and direct mix highlighting club, hip-hop, African influenced and deep tracks.

Brothers Andi & Hannes Teichmann, aka Gebrüder Teichmann, are electronic musicians, DJs and cultural activists, rooted in Berlin's techno underground and DIY-culture since the late nineties. The duo have performed at Berlin's premiere clubs including Berghain/Panorama Bar, WMF, Watergate, Bar25 and have hosted regular nights at Suicide Circus Berlin since 2009.
Over the years the brothers have collaborated with numerous artists across a variety of genres. Collaborations have included hip hop, contemporary, traditional and experimental music with collaborators including Ensemble Modern, Decoder Ensemble, Embryo, Joachim Irmler & Gudrun Gut, Foremost Poets, rRoxymore, Teknotika, Jahcoozi & Modeselektor or their father, multi-instrumentalist Ulrich Teichmann.
Andi and Hannes have put together several projects in cooperation with the Goethe-Institute, like TEN- CITIES, BLNRB & SOUNDCAMPs in Sri Lanka, Pakistan & Mexico, and established the intercultural electro ensembles KARACHI FILES (Pakistan/Europe), BLNRB (Nairobi/Berlin) & MONDMASCHINE (Mexican/Central America/Europe). With their label NOLAND they are compressing this diversity.
Their musical activities from DJing, giving workshops and playing live sets have taken them to over 60 countries as far as Afghanistan, Honduras, Sibiria or Angola.
Home in Berlin they've been curating several festivals, such as the - From Inside To Way Out at HAU Hebbel Am Ufer, the African Music Convention 2014 or parts of the WORLDTRONIC Festival at Haus der Kulturen der Welt.

Murat Uncuoglu, a prominent figure in the Turkish electronic scene for over two decades, delights us with four tracks that fully represent the current state of contemporary dance music inclined to overcome genres and characterized by great melodies and atmospheres of intense suggestion.

As we slowly creep out of social isolation, Isolate remain where they’ve always been: in their own unique lane, serving up majestic electronic music from their Istanbul HQ. And for this particular trip, the labels tenth and their first vinyl release, the Isolate bosses are
driving: Murat Uncuoglu & Alican.
‘No End’ starts the march. Stately, uplifting and just the right amount of triumph. It’s loaded with spiralling hooks that make you reach further than your arm’s length, make you look further than your eyes reach, make you hope more than conventional reality usually

‘Patchwork’ follows. A darker, prowling slab of pristine synth drama with a plucked bassline and all kinds of flourishing twirls and diversions, within seconds it ensures heads are down and bodies are locked into the groove. Don’t believe the title; this one’s seamless….
And so is the grand finale track ‘Big Wishes’. Signing out with a powerfully positive piece; ‘Big Wishes’ takes all the weirdness and tension of the last four months, screws it up tightly into a strange trippy ball then throws it so high in the air it turns to dust in the
atmosphere. A true set highlight that will have your crowd wondering what hit them.

Pleaxure's debut EP, "No Such", leads us down the rabbit hole of a guided LSD therapy session
formatted to a half hour of psychedelia-infused techno. Keeping one foot in Baltimore and the other in Brooklyn, "No Such" drops as the first release on NiCE1, a label collaboration between Pleaxure and Broke City's Jordan Ehr. With remix blessings from New York underground artists Anthony Naples, MoMa Ready and Bergsonist, the EP rounds off as a special exploration of crafty fodder for dancefloors and heady listening alike. This summer, My Favorite Robot Records release another of their excellent and immersive full lengths, this time from German production outfit, Rework.

The trio of Daniel Varga, Michael Kuebler and Sascha Hedgehog AKA Rework, describe their musical aesthetic as "cabaret-independent-house" and combine icy minimal structures with catchy euro-girl vocals, Anglo-French funk antics and a dash of dance floor melancholy. Playhouse, Meant and Items & Things have all released their work, which includes three albums before now. This latest is another musical adventure filled with surprises.

This is an effortlessly diverse album that brings a wide range of influences to the table and ties them all together with Rework's unique sense of style and cool.

Traumer makes his long-awaited return to Infuse as he delivers his four-track ‘Portable’ EP.

One of the scenes most distinguished talents, known equally for his quintessential studio productions and he is his expertly crafted, hypnotic DJ sets, Paris-born talent Romain Reynaud, aka Traumer, stands today as one of the most in-demand talents within house, minimal and beyond. Releasing signature productions via the likes of Berg Audio, All In and his own Gettrau imprint, whilst gracing the booths of the world’s most prestigious institutions including fabric, DC-10, Club der Visionare / Hoppetosse, and his home venue of Rex Club, he now makes his highly anticipated return to FUSE sister imprint Infuse following on from his 2018 collaboration alongside fellow countryman and house legend Point G – delivering his expertly crafted four-track 'Portable’ EP this November.

Title cut ‘Portable’ opens proceedings as the Parisian favourite weaves together a slick web of fizzing synths, skittish drums and lo-fi synth melodies, before diving deep into the trademark rolling, laser sharp organic drums and slinking basslines found throughout ’90Stig’. ‘Duality’ opens the B-Side in emphatic fashion, raising the tempo and introducing a powerful combination of scintillating electronics atop of punchy kicks and resonant synth stabs, before closing things out via the sensual melodies, dubby pads and early morning grooves of the classy ‘Dueton’.

With two standout singles under their belt, Fur Coat now deliver their highly anticipated 12 track album, ‘Polyphony’…

‘Polyphony’ is a term specifically chosen by Fur Coat to emphasise the celebratory concept behind their new album. “Firstly, poly means many, and we are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year,” explains Sergio, “so it was important we reflected that milestone in some way. Beyond that we wanted to create a project with many layers that captures the perfect spectrum, ranging from experimental sounds through to more familiar dancefloor tracks. Whether blending a cinematic feeling, infectious groove, indie vocal or slower BPM electronica, we used multiple layers and patterns to create a textured, forward thinking soundscape. ‘Polyphony’ really does say it all in a single word.”

To further the theme of ‘many’, Sergio and Israel also open up their studio, inviting friends in. From the haunting, indie beauty of ‘Hurricane’ with Running Pine (already a Beatport chart topper), to infectious melodies created alongside Julian Wasserman, Hunter/Game and Sly Faux, or Delhia De France’s seductive vocals, the duo generously and effectively demonstrate the benefit of collaboration.

This is not to say their dedicated compositions should be overlooked, quite the opposite, which they are rightfully proud to point out, “This is our second album and we really wanted to deliver something that showed our musical influences and the evolution of the Fur Coat sound. Yore welcomes IBEX to the Yore Family. Tony Ollivierra aka Ibex, who is no stranger at all to the world of Detroit House music, known for his outstanding releases on Carl Craigs Planet E or his hot gems on 3rd Ear and Rushhour, returns in full effect on our 26th release.

Though Moving Vision is the fourth EP the Japanese producer-and-DJ has released on Yore, it arrives more than four years after the appearance of Tokyo Connection and five after City Soul and Butterfly - even more his return to Yore keeps bursting with fresh energy. A powerful, seven-minute argument on behalf of Kez YM's sound, 'Extended Sunset' bolts from the gate with a steamy house pulse that oozes soul and splendour in equal measure, and luscious synth chords and funky bass lines add significantly to the music's allure. Much as he's done in the past, Yamaguchi threads crowd noises into 'Moon Light Leaves,' a move that bolsters its party spirit and 'live' club feel. In a cut that's even more resplendent than 'Extended Sunset,' the producer works vocal accents and acid-techno boogie into the tune's charging house pulse. Unbelievably, the roaring throb of the third Track 'Weekend,' which pushes the EP's hard-charging vibe to an even higher level. Rounding out the twenty-five-minute release the 4th Track, 'Fixer' that's no less steamy as the track turns out as a pure feverish dancefloor monster powered by South American rhythms, percussion, and horns. Kez YM easily proves that he hasn't lost his touch.

Robert Fleck steps up with a 4 track EP straight from the Well Street mould. Glitchy broken beat rollers and a dubbed out minimal dnb trip are topped off with a remix from elusive Dutch producer Gasometric Run.

After Brexit, we thought it would be a brave attempt to snatch the Queen's interpretational sovereignty over the colour purple. So, we have named our new record just like that. Of course, this is only half the truth, as we named all six other UV050 compilation records after colours as well. The purple one, this one right here, is the second to last, completely with the wonderful artwork by Leipzig's Doppeldenk and four tracks to dance your ass off to. Krakow's Chino shows us how to balance perfectly between straightforward urgency and mystic playfulness. His acidic FORBIDDEN VOICES sports just the right amount of chaos to make you go crazy on the dancefloor. Being a spiritual brother for a long time, it's actually the first time Berliner Johannes Albert releases on Uncanny Valley with his VISION UTOPIA, a subtle House bomb, that pushes just the right buttons to trigger your desire to escape into cosmos. Also from Berlin comes Lake People, who does what he does best with ROAMING THE STREETS: A subtle and razor-sharp track that points out that good dance music can sweeten your life everywhere, not only in the club. Finally, RVDS, one of Hamburg's finest, blesses us with MOON OPERATOR, a deep and masterful dive into sonic sceneries that no one has ever listened to before. Except of course for your expert friends, who claim to have heard even the most obscure dreamy Acid track.

With its debut mission flying out in its first day, Space Tours is back for an eagerly awaited second trip. Mitch Wellings brings three more out-there originals, before hugely talented Parisian producer, Nemo Vachez, takes the controls for remix duties. All who wish to board will be treated to another scintillating array of future-focussed delights, with nods to all things great about the past.

First up, ‘Break It Down’ expertly morphs from wild, summer infused house to wobbly garage, seeing blissed out chords become contorting basslines. Locked.

‘90 Steps’ offers up an amalgamation of classic UK and deep Detroit flavours. Premium fusion.

‘All the Stars’ takes the listener on an introspective meditation. The stripped back, 2 step approach allows its emotive soundtrack space to breathe, while cementing its spoken word vocal’s empowering narrative.

Forest Ill label boss Nemo Vachez delivers an enchanting remix of ‘All The Stars’, taking it into euphoric dancefloor territories with ‘Nemo’s 4/4 Sunset Dub’. The right heads will be turned, that’s for sure.

Italian mainstay Leon makes a long-awaited debut on Hot Creations with Disco 3000. Set for release on 9th October, the three-track EP draws inspiration from a range of influences, most notably the early American house scene.

As the title suggests, Disco 3000 kicks things off in a feel-good fashion with punchy kick drums and an echoing lyric that states “making it for sure.” Groove It makes an appearance next, as spacey synths conjoin on a no-nonsense, up- tempo bassline to form a real peak-time dance number, before T-House rounds off proceedings with a fast-paced kick-hat backbone and infectious, echoing vocals.

A regular in the electronic music scene for more than a decade, Leon is no stranger to producing dance floor ready house music, having released on the likes of Relief, Defected and Crosstown Rebels to name a few. Performances at places such as Sunwaves and Pacha have helped cement his standing as one of the true heavy-hitters, whilst his recent releases, including those on Crosstown Rebels and Moan Records, have further confirmed his reputation.

Phuture only released a handful of tracks (plus an album a full decade after their debut), but have remained a legendary act in the development of Chicago house for their stomping 1987 single "Acid Trax", the track that began and defined the acid house sound. The group was formed by DJ Pierre, synthesizer fan Spanky and Herb J in 1985 as a recording entity to produce records for Pierre to mix into his sets at several crucial Chicago clubs. After being turned on to the high-pitched squelch of the Roland TB-303 synthesizer (marketed as a bassline machine for solo guitarists), the trio emerged from the studio with a track they called "In Your Mind". Ron Hardy previewed the track at his legendary club the Music Box - where it became known as "Ron Hardy's Acid Track" - and Phuture re-made the cut with production by Marshall Jefferson. Released on Trax Records in 1987, the single created a dividing point between the Chicago sound before and after it, with hundreds of "Acid Trax" imitations flooding the local market. After it caught on in Britain as well, the single soundtracked the wave of club madness which coalesced in the rave movement by the end of the decade.

Re mastered for 2014 and re released in original 1987 artwork. Released in conjunction with Trax / Harmless.

After a brief hiatus, legendary record label Large Music returns with a new installment of their celebrated vinyl series. Brimming with solid up-front grooves, Wax Weapons 3 featured the top artists that are currently a part of the Large roster. The A side opens with the melodic shuffle of True Blue from Scott Diaz & Timmy P then closes with the supreme funk drive of United by Never Dull. The B Side features a retro flavored deep outing from Finest Wear aptly entitled That 90’s Groove followed by the filtered Chicago Jack of One Night In The City from ColorJaxx.

London based House label Inermu brings the eleventh in their Vinyl Only series in the form of this 4 track release from JHNS, including a remix from Label boss James Dexter

One of the most talked about remixes of 2019 gets an official release as Camille Luciani’s stunning rework of The Temper Trap’s 2008 global hit ’Sweet Disposition’ comes out on Renaissance Records / BMG on 13 December.

Camille Luciani, one of France’s brightest new dance talents, creates a stirring and highly atmospheric update of the Australian indie rock outfit’s seminal 2008 anthem, which has achieved cult status in recent years, featuring in the film ‘(500) Days of Summer’ and clocking over 260 million streams on Spotify alone.

“I’d been a fan of the band for more than 10 years”, explains Camille, “Their music was always there for me; one day I just decided to give them something in return and chose Sweet Disposition, which is a timeless track that I always wanted to bring my vision to. So, initially it was more for fun than an official release. It was only after sending it to Dougy and Lorenzo - the band themselves - that things began to develop. I’m delighted it’s now getting an official release.”

The remix takes the listener on an emotional journey, emphasising the brooding percussion alongside clever layering of the blissful vocal. The poignant piano refrain and swirling, intense beats result in a beautiful, yet powerful reinvention, perfect for peak-time dance-floors, which has already received many ID requests on social media. Major support has come from globally-renowned duo Tale Of Us who have played it as their closing track on many of the world’s biggest stages, including Printworks London, Gashouder Amsterdam and Ushuaïa Ibiza, each time receiving a euphoric, ‘hands in the air’ crowd reaction.

Electronic music label Sheik 'N' Beik announces SNBV012 the 'Vaadhoo' EP from Mr. Dello. This EP is the second release in series aimed at celebrating the diversity and history of New York and its boroughs.

As Sheik 'N' Beik's hometown and source of constant inspiration. The label focuses the spotlight to pay homage to the Five boroughs of New York including Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island and The Bronx. Each boroughs flag is given a modern and colorful twist via the cover art and design of each outer jacket. The first release in the series, Manhattan, featured local NYC heroe and co-founder of Voodoo Down Records, N'conduit.

The new EP from Mr. Dello is an example of dedication artistic freedom. Three different and powerful slices of contemporary techno, Mr. Dello explores the deeper, darker recesses of his psyche drawing on emotions, moods and feelings to portray his vision. With his own history seeped in Greek mythology, he is no stranger to celebrating civic pride, and the 'Vaadhoo' EP packs plenty of punches from the Kathisma resident. 'Maureta' powers into life with insistent low end and spacey sonic nuances, making way for deep pads to lift the mood. 'Aige' features some exceptional drum programming and a repeated vocal sample to whip the crowd into a frenzy, and finally, the title track 'Vaadhoo' utilizes a solid bassline and clicky percussion to create an energetic conclusion. SBIRE begins. The newly founded label is curated by Swiss artists Isolated Lines, known for his edgy and razor sharp productions (on Tommy Four Seven's 47, among others), and Gaspard de la Montagne, who has been perfecting his sculptural and curiously optimistic vision of techno through his EPs on Creaked. SBR001 is a well-rounded compilation from their inner circle spanning from Grime over Raw House to Techno.

The opening transmission is from La Vie C'est Facile: A colourful and unpredictable, broken-beat cut that fuses elements of instrumental grime and hip-hop with a striking melody and spacious production. Gaspard De La Montagne (as GDLM) takes a more direct approach: His track builds slowly with a swing to the beat, leaving cavernous bass reverberations and stretched out, droning pads to pull you further in.

Isolates Lines' 'Lift' picks up where the A-side left off, mining a similar groove to GDLM's 'Larson' to equally stirring effect. The drums skip around a rubbery bassline as the track phases with sleight of hand progressions. Ockham & Soloporunbesso's fine contribution brings a Detroit edge to the record, closing it out on the crunch and sci-fi squelches of 'Hanche'. It ends a bold and neatly-executed EP that promises high quality and signals to the diverse intentions of the label.

Tiny Planet is back in business, Volume 3 returning to the geographical roots of Planet Euphorique. Four genre expansive tracks, hot-off-the-press Canadian content bringing all new artists to the PE sphere. The record is split from East to West, Montreal to Vancouver, providing an array of audio delights primed for diverse dance experiences.

Starting in Montreal, the A side hosts a deep, sensual dripping opener, “Gutted Honey Dew Project” by duo Mutually Feeling. Steady, rolling breakbeats slung behind melt-in-your-mouth vocals of silk, the blooming bassline forming a modern day classique. The flirtatious essence carries to the A2 with Pascale’s “Fly Zone”, bubbling into an irresistible, bouncy analog jammer. Lights flashing; surging stabs of colourful harmony. A sleek, smooth and playful track ordering you to la discotheque stat!

Heading West to the B side, the mood swing is sinisterly jacking in Vancouver. Sludge laden “Are You Done Yet” by Overland showcases a hot and distorted acid hypnosis, weaving in and around a driving repetition of drum-work, deceptively low tempo for the momentous percussive progression and evolving sonic squelch. Sigsaly busting in to finish it off with the fully fledged hammering techno hit you needed, “Carve” B2-big room, XL rhythmical head-rush. Stomp to the beat!

The second EP on Travellin Music is a collaboration between Bucketround's head Costela and Prakash. Two very deep cuts plus a remix by Detroit deep house legend Rick Wade.

Having recently appeared on Bosconi Records and Altzmusica, Daisuke Kondo is a producer on the rise at present. This outing on Vibraphone adds fuel to that particular fire with four distinctive cuts that push to the outer edges of house music without losing sight of the groove. "Hold On To Love" is, on the surface, an upbeat, disco-infused house jam, but there's a certain trippy approach Kondo takes in the processing department that edges the music into a different head space. "Life" meanwhile gets gritty and bass heavy at one end of the frequency range, and airy and melodic at the other. "Feelin Blue" gets even dustier and scratchier with its sample treatment, and then "Fallen Star" lays down some unflinching machine beats with wonky, distant piano licks.

Already doing the rounds and the damage for a while, Unleashed Tapes Vol. 1 is finally officially available. A special treat from the Tiger's lair with a different and darker twist, that seeks out the darker and more dodgy discotheques on the side streets and in the backyards, where the trough has no flush and the mirror balls have never been cleaned. Automatic rhythms and electronic dancing sound made years after the future. Make up your own mind!

As always, the return of Ruede Hagelstein is inevitable and with each return he ups the ante tenfold showcasing his ever growing prowess behind the studio door. It seems as if, with each Ruede EP, the amount of elements utilized shrinks while at the same time the sound grows in power and dominance and that could not be better exemplified than here.

Consisting of two originals and a remix from the one and only Martin Buttrich, the EP is a gross display of well thought out, mature dance floor jewels. Opening the short player is Hagelstein's 'Dematerialize feat. Justin Evans' where a sinister yet soothing vocal sets the tone for the entire track, laying the groundwork for a gorgeous bass drum and shimmers of distant percussion carry us into celestial spaces. 'Forward Vision' is up next and follows suit by relying on a brooding minimal groove to drive the shimmers of glistening atmospherics and sparkling sonics optimal for dizzy and delirious club moments.

Last but certainly not least we turn to the legend who is Martin Buttrich to twist the original 'Dematerialize feat. Justin Evan' into a more straightforward composition with his signature stylings
opening the doors of accessibility to a wider demographic of disc jockeys resulting in a track that stretches the playability to a wide range of disc jockeys making it a stellar addition and ensuring
the perfect variety to quench all desires.

After impressing with his contribution to ‘Watergate 25’, emerging Spanish talent Upercent steps up for his first full-length EP on the label.

In recent years the Valencia native has emerged with releases on labels of the ilk of Kompakt, Diynamic and the tastemaker favourite microCastle Records. We got our first taste of his talents on Watergate Records when the superb ‘La Lluita’ featured exclusively as part of ‘Watergate 25 – Adana Twins’ compilation. Late last year he made his debut at the club, where his distinctive aesthetic connected naturally.

The new ‘Flor De Lotus EP’ exemplifies this style; a fusion of organic and analogue, Upercent’s productions are always thoughtful and emotive. ‘Somia’ is laden with cosmic synths, hints of the Mediterranean, and a dance-ready beat to boot.
The intricate percussion evident in ‘Somia’ carries through in ‘Pulcre’; another rhythmic piece infused with an enigmatic vocal and a pulsating bass that continues to build throughout. ‘Flor De Lotus’ culminates with a high-energy, late-night remix of ‘Pulcre’ from Romanian DJ/Producer BOg, who also graced the ‘Watergate 25’ compilation.

The dynamic trio of Yør Kultura returns from the Netherland wilderness with their new 4 track ep “Ours Is Yours" on Permanent vacation. After last year's magical hit "Shimming" that you could hear in every corner of the world and was found in dj bags across genres, they continue discovering new paths while perfecting their shamanic, percussive and hypnotic sound. It takes you to the nearest rainforest of your mind with no wishes left unfulfilled.

'EYA' continues to blossom as a record label. This time Norwegian artist and half of Blossy A:G presents four versatile and intriguing techno tracks. ...Don't sleep!

Day one is the first Asierhans’s EP, which consist in bunch of ideas collected during the last year, formed by 2 club-ready tunes inspired in a sound between House and Techno as well as sounds from Nu Disco, Balearic/Ambient in other tracks as Seville or Aderall. This is also the first reference of Noreple, a London/Madrid based label.

The Birdsmakingmachine duo is back with what could be the more extroverted Ep of the series. The birds are painting a more funky and psychedelic palette on top of their mechanical rolling grooves, with a hint of rave and acid.

Saturn Drive’s debut EP ‘Mousewalk’ featuring Frankfurt’s favorite, Christian Burkhardt with long time collaborator, Daniel Roth, along with a bumping remix by Politics Of Dancing.

‘Mousewalk’ EP is comprised of 4 track: title track ‘Mousewalk’ has the signature micro tech-house sound that put Christian Burkhardt on the map; Driving bassline, rolling percussion, and a dose of funk. Politics Of Dancing’s remix of the track maintains the essence of the original while offering a deeper, housier interpretation. ‘E-Search’ is the banger of the bunch, heavy low end and techy ambient make this a dancefloor hitter. Final track, ‘Sling’, is an introspective minimal tech track that explores the trippier, darker side of Burkahrdt’s sound.

Started at the age of thirteen with a crate of his big brother's records, Dj Matpat was introduced to an eclectic mix of music that has influenced his take on House Music.

Racking up releases from labels such as Madhouse, Exploited, Plant Music, W&O Street Tracks, as well as Derrick Carter's Persnickety All Stars label, Dj Matpat has now combined his passion for production and House Music to form his own label entitled 'Clubby Boy'.

With the artistic stylings of his Philly party Club Congress and a remix by The Bunker artist Justin Cudmore, the first release 'It's Time!' (Produced by the Clubby Boy himself) can be seen as a 'call to action' either for these current times or to lose yourself with-in the dance floor.

Manchester's Garth BE has long been associated with WOLF. Long time fans may be familiar with 'All The Thrills' released back in 2009 on WOLFEP003, a track that is still played by the likes of Move D today. The past seven years have seen Garth perfecting his craft and launching his Sweet Sticky label. The Seven Movements was his debut full-length in 2014 on the label. That same year, it was rightfully placed in the Top 5 of both Phonica Records' and Piccadilly Records' end of year lists, with very accurate comparisons to the likes of Floating Points, Theo Parrish, Kyle Hall and Moodymann.
Here Garth presents his first full EP for WOLF with six jams for the mind, body and soul.

Während Leistungsdruck und Produktivitätsstreben den Alltag beherrschen, spendet ein Powernap neue Energie. Als - staatlich geprüfter Hänger' reicht LUX jedoch kein 30 minütiger Mittagsschlaf.Die Aufnahmen zu 24/7 Powernap entstanden in nächtlichen Sessions mit den beiden Estro-Produzenten Cap Kendricks und Tom Doolie. Pro Nacht wurde ein Track geschrieben, produziert und aufgenommen. Musikalisch wird das Gefühl der Entschleunigung eingefangen. Die Instrumentals klingen unaufgeregt und traumversunken. Das Rezept: Hypnotische Samples, Basslines und Drumloops die nach vorne gehen. Dazu zeigt LUX einmal mehr, dass er wirklich etwas zu sagen hat. 24/7 Powernap ist deep, aber gänzlich unpathetisch.
