DJ and producer Orlando Voorn has delivered the release of his club-ready EP, 'Positive Vibes', set to drop on NICEPEOPLE.

Opening the release with the EP-titled 'Positive Vibes', a slick record filled with strong tribal elements, the track is followed by 'One Day', an infectious after-hours rumbler. With Voorn also crafting a warm, driven mix of 'Matta', the EP is rounded off by 'Ghetto Techno', a synth-led track filled with the producer's rhythmic tones.

A slick display of the Dutchman's prowess in the studio, the new 4-track Positive Vibes EP is set for release on Wednesday 10th April via NICEPEOPLE.

To celebrate the launch of the enigmatic Dutch label, VDK, we present the debut release on their catalogue. VDK is all about letting the music do the talking, without any of the expectation associated with divulging an artist’s name and therefore knowledge of their past productions, therefore each artist remains anonymous.

We start proceedings with 001, a hypnotic journey with a healthy dose of retro-infused organ riffing that glistens over the top of a garage house beat, punctuated with hypnotic flute sounds and delirious vocal samples.

002 features fizzing top end percussion that carries the warping synth stabs throughout the mix. Distant chatter and indistinct snippets of heavily treated spoken snippets ebb and flow around the other elements of the track making for hazy evening atmospherics.

On the flip and closing out the collection is the B-side, 003. A progressive peak-timer, the percussion underpins a selection of discombobulating vocal arrangements that pan around to dizzying effect. Twinkling synth work dances around the upper end of the mix for the ideal set-builder.

Platform 18, known as one of Glasgow's most distinctive parties drops a solid no nonsense 4 track EP made for the dancefloor. Comprising of 3 original collaborations from the Platform 18 residents Ivan Kutz, Niz and Craig Hamilton backed with a remix from former Parisian turned Berliner Alexkid. The label set up to showcase the home-grown talents of the residents and collaborative efforts amongst friends.

'First Touch' a collaboration between Craig Hamilton and Ivan Kutz opens the EP with crisp percussive elements, solid grooves and trippy hypnotic leads. Before continuing with Alexkid's interpretation of the lead track, a more stripped back, dubby and somewhat moodier groove. Synth drones and obscure stabs add texture alongside scattered hypnotic tones, over driving rhythmic elements.

On the flip 'Reflections', marks a collaboration between long time Platform 18 selectors Ivan Kutz and Niz. Deep dubby drones dominate throughout over peppered percussive elements and layered key stabs. Carefully placed spoken word vocals lead us through the break rounded out by slick beats. Hamilton and Kutz close out the EP with'Dark Matter'. Gritty dark tones layered with arpeggiated keys over intricate percussive elements. Dubby analogue stabs and an uncompromising sub add just enough tension to drive the track forward.

2018 starts with EYE005 on Hommen's These Eyes imprint, coming from Amberoom - a project by house DJ veteran Ramin Nouyan, who has teamed up with the production duo Hoffmann / Tur.

Amberoom might be a new project still, but you definitely came across their two successful EPs on Josh Wink's Ovum label (Rhit + Minoo) in 2017. Now it's time for the third one: Orchesis EP.

Title track 'Orchesis' has been featured in several playlists since Off Sonar in Barcelona last year. Especially the lead-synth can easily get stuck in your head for a while as once again Hoffmann & Tur are showing the various kinds of outstanding productions they are able to deliver. B-side 'Laveer' is a very limited and restricted track which is an exceptional example of how you can build up a special vibe on a 117-bpm basis.

After welcoming a brand new name to the label with the last EP, Moon Harbour now invites back someone who debuted on it in 2013. That man is Sabb, a tech house producer from Kosovo who has eight plus years of experience of turning out infectious club tracks. He has done so on labels like Noir and Saved, and here serves up a great single that comes with remixes by Dennis Ferrer and Detlef.

His excellent original, 'One of Us' features Forrest and is a jostling, full blooded track with shimmering drums and percussive patterns unravelling over driving kicks. Smeared synths and subtle little drum fills flesh-out the rooted groove as soulful, whispered vocals add an intimate and organic edge. It's sure to be a winner this summer and comes with two equally refreshing remixes.

The first is from Objektivity label boss Dennis Ferrer, who is a pioneering US house producer and DJ with an enviable and storied history with house music. His version is more stripped back, deeper and more patient. The vocals take on a ghostly and pop-leaning feel, melodies are all trippy and spaced out. The track oozes emotive vibes as it flows on and will surely have you
singing along in no time. This one could well be one of the anthems of the summer.

Finally, Detlef, a Viva Music mainstay, keeps things raw, old school and house with his chunky remix. All based around fat drums and dry, cutting hi hats, it is a sweaty way to round out a hugely varied EP that really offers something for everyone.

A true techno auteur, Mathew Jonson earlier this year released his second solo album, 'Her Blurry Pictures' on Crosstown Rebels, encompassing a new evolution in his rhythmically complex and timeless approach over eight fluid and rich composition. Now soon to drop is a package of unmissable 'Blurry Remixes' featuring a trio of first class reworks by Dixon¨ Tale Of Us and Akufen
Innervisions boss and Berlin luminary Dixon turns in a storming reimagining of the atmospheric, electronic matrix of 'Level 7' where straight talking techno does the driving as layers build, get stripped back then steered onto a more melodic path underpinned by a rumbling deep bassline.

Taking 4 quality cuts to create a versatile Vinyl, once again demonstrating his skills in the studio, is also showing us his most artistic part with his artwork for the cover, with this initiative seeks to capture that magical connection between music and the art. This nuanced fusion of intellect makes it an innovative product, inspires the senses and creates memorable sensory experiences. It is precisely what Sebastian Ledher wants to achieve.

In the Various Artist, we will find new talents as well as some well-known names, a collection that goes from the Microhouse with deep / minimal touches. With a polished and blunt bass line. That surround with their elegant and minimalist groove, the tracks are focus on the groovy, which sounds along with deep synthesizers and with a light touch of acid, and atmospheres of pads and sequences of celestial chords that filter into the mix, together with heavy drums contrasted by light snares and voices that come and go with obscenely hypnotic LFO games, that complement them superbly. The tracks are a roller coaster of emotions.

On 'BAS008' Bassiani welcome Voiski and his uplifting take on techno. Cascading snares, dreamy melodies and a good dose of cosmically charged sounds make "Our Brilliant Future" a beautifully crafted ode to hope. The motive comes in many facets: starting off with "Sit Down Next To Me" and it's tightly knit melody, retrospective amalgamates with futurism. Then we dive into the roaring cave of "Chasing Shadows", where the bass is deep and the synths cheeky. "TearSystem" stays true to it's name: rave romanticism in it's crystallized form. Fading out on "Your Heart Starts To Race" Voiski closes on a distant note, nevertheless attuned with the cosmic groove.

Minim Records sixth release brings you a debut EP from a young Ukrainian producer Grec. Incredibly, 'Satellite' is Sam's first full-length album. Informed by his DJ gigs at legendary places like Berghain in Berlin and Cielo in New York, the album starts with a dystopian bit of sonic scene setting, as if a space ship is charging up ready to take off.

Prime handler of comet powder-fuelled floor heroics for the sun-dazed hours, Melbourne’s Escape Artist made quite the impression with his previous pair of EPs for Salt Mines and much enticing debut tape album for Couch Acid Recordings. Turning up on Kalahari Oyster Cult with his anticipated third outing, ‘Digital Natives’, the Aussie producer pulls out a quartet of old-school ravey pumpers, rife with the usual pack of patented Escape Artist tropes.

Kalahari’s 19th oyster is sure to get dancers wading knee-deep in their own sweat as EA takes care of whooshing us off to dreamier Utopian heights in one smooth movement.

Cutting a path of cyber-organic fascination, ‘Another World’ flies us straight off to fantasized tropics where warm swashes of bleached-out pads and roguish acid froth languidly lap at convulsive ridges of breaks-riddled drum programming.

Taking the original for a dive into swampy, Chain Reaction’esque depths, Canadian techno deconstructivist Flørist offers a moment of calm before the B-side’s storm. An all-out dynamic affair, ‘Digital Natives’ cranks up the heat a notch further with its heavy alloy of propulsive electro and ankle-breaking rhythmic outbursts, which shall wreak absolute havoc no matter the hour or place.

Rounding off the trip on a jazzy, laid-back after party vibe, ‘Inner City Pressure’ is a vivid mix-&-match of junglistic engineering and ethereal house-ism; a most spitting sum-up of Escape Artist’s playful and versatile approach toward production.

Roll the dices and brace yourself, this is some massive magic at work right here.

The A2 comes from Pablo Marco with his second addition to Banoffee after his breakbeat power track on their Black Label Series Imprint earlier in the year. Murmuring vocals and a swirling feeling with 'All About' - sure fire dance floor reset button included.
The B1. comes from Liem & Eddie Ness, who's split EP with ac$ on the earlier released BP005 analog acid record was enough to invite a return appearance this time with leftfield 'Fujiyama', and welcoming of K-Lone previously known for his involvement on the powerful Bristol label, Wisdom Teeth with a down tempo track with warm spherical sounds.

For their third release Magnonic Signals have recruited the exceptional talents of Aquatronics, a producer whose previous releases on Madrid's Fundamental Records and recently Germany's Jupiter4 show off a penchant for electronics that steer towards a drexciyan sound palate and ethos...

The EP kicks off with (+) Wave Gliders a bubbling electro burner with deep warm pads and fizzing 808 drum programming accompanied by thick hypnotic melodies, really sets the tone. (++) Ocen Myst takes us deeper into the abyss with a wonderful low end and glassy synth lines taking centre stage, beautiful and sorrowful electro. (-) Deep Horizons, the title track, is the kind of electro that takes you on a journey through the depths of the pacific ocean, lush warm pads and synths lines full of emotional content, wrapped masterfully over snappy snares and shimmering hi-hats, this track has it all. (- -) Twilight Dive closes the ep in great style, a fat low end over a cracking 4/4 to create a superb electro/techno crossover, a track that is sure to set dancefloors alight. From start to finish this is an EP of pure electro bliss and not one to miss.

Tanzen' begann, hat sich längst zur bekanntesten Plattform für elektronische Musik an der Saale mit bislang über sechzig Veröffentlichungen, eigenem Schwesterlabel (Musik Krause) und angeschlossener Booking-Agentur gemausert. Mit 16 Jahren auf dem noch immer jungen Buckel ist Freude am Tanzen heute auf dem besten Weg von der Adoleszenz ins Erwachsenendasein, doch dass dabei trotz gefestigter Strukturen zum Glück noch lange keine Langeweile Einzug halten muss, beweist nun die Jubiläums-Compilation SIX10 Jahre Freude am Tanzen.

On 2nd November 2018 Sven Tasnadi is back on Moon Harbour with a brand new and brilliant full length entitled Bridges'. It features a host of collaborators from Huxley to David Jach to Supernova, and showcases the German's always infectious house sound. Four of the 12 tracks will be released on an exclusive vinyl sampler, and on 5th October Sven Tasnadi serves up the tasty album single It's Your Love' with a brilliant remix from man of the moment, Dennis Cruz.

Tasnadi hails from Leipzig and is a master of groove. He distills his tunes to the core elements needed to get you moving and feeling good, and has done so over three artist albums and more than 25 EPs since 2005. For this album, though, he decided to work with a range of musical friends as a way of, he says, making a clear statement against the current worldwide trend of protectionism.'
The album is informed by the saying Build bridges, not walls', and as Sven explains, bridges bring people together. And only when we come together can we change things for the better. The house and techno scene initially attracted me 25 years ago as it was filled with people who were open-minded and versatile in nature, and I'm going to do my musical part to keep it that way.'
The album kicks off with the effortlessly cool and breezy house groover 'Nothing' with David Jach. Things get cheeky with the late night chords and rolling bass of 'My Soul' with UK master Huxley and then Italian titans Supernova appear on 'Keep Da Shit', a more edgy tech tune with smart vocal stabs to bring the energy levels higher. Sven goes solo for the feel good vibes of 'It's Your Love' with its heart aching vocal sample, and again for the tropical, exotic and melodically colourful 'Tequila' which takes us deep into the jungle. Filburt is the friendly connection on the deep, cuddly jazz keys of 'French Dress' and after a brilliantly loose hip hop interlude, Sven cooks up the sample heavy, party starting 'Get Down' with Mac-Kee. Two versions of 'Make It Right' offer heartfelt, raw house while 'Strings Rebirth' is a freaky late night cut with warped synths and naughty bass and 'Bug In My Machine' with Moses Mehdi closes things out in starry eyed and cosmic melodic house territory.

This is a superb album that explores many different house sounds, plenty of real emotions and well crafted melodies. The tracks become bridges and leave a lasting impression on your soul as a result. Build Bridges, not walls.

Poker Flat label boss and genuine dance music legend Steve Bug teams up with Langenberg for this excellent two track EP. Langenberg has released an unfathomable number of dancefloor fillers under various monikers on labels such as Drumpoet Community, Mule, Ovum or Styrax Leaves - and recently released his debut album 'Central Heated House' on Dessous. Langenberg is also one half of the project Ribn. 'Chord Cluster' has summer anthem written all over - deep yet euphoric, spacy yet danceable, and ultimately a deeply emotive piece of house music that will bring smiles to faces all year. The rhythm track is tight yet remains loose and funky, while the pads and synths dip into just the right amount of acid to keep the ravers lost in the moment. 'The Teaze' treads similar ground - arpeggiated pulses lead the arrangement, while a Chicago-influenced groove brings a shuffle to proceedings - the joy in the track is evident - it's clear the guys were having a lot of fun in the studio.

Subb-an makes his debut on Constant Sound. 2 dancefloor heavy tracks with a special remix from Relic (Burnski and Michael James).

Maceo Plex finally serves up a new single that has been huge for him in recent months: it comes from hotly tipped Irish pair Brame & Hamo with a remix from techno and electro specialist Steffi.

Brame & Hamo are new school, underground stars who can hold down intimate Berlin basements, festival main stages and large scale clubs with equal skill. They deal in house, acid, breaks and techno that is big on character and has come on their own eponymous label, amongst others. Here they link with Anthony Acid for a new single, which is only their second outside their own label since 2016, following as it does the hugely well received Feel My Bicep release, as well as the recent remix for Ninja Tune’s Counter Records imprint.

The fantastic and anthemic ‘It’s Time To' is a throwback acid house jam with dark, looped vocals that get you in a trance.
The serrated 303 is gritty and the punchy drums cannot fail to work the floor into a sweaty, writhing mass.

Steffi has long been an underground star with releases on Ostgut Ton and her own Klakson marking her out as one of house, techno and electro’s most atmospheric and assured artists.
Here she remixes the original into a rugged and propulsive house cut with soulful Detroit synths and melancholic chords that make for an emotional and powerful classic.

Hey fans and friends, the most people know his Snork Enterprises releases under his alias Laufmasche, the "Deep Lay e.p.", the "Foreign Funk" release or the "Talk like a fool" 12". He
also hit the streets with his tracks for Relax2000 records or Hamburg based Eminor, and played DJ or live sets from Frankfurt, Kassel, Berlin, Hamburg all over Germany or also up to
Peking which was really a special experience for him. Now he is back on Snork Enterprises, the first time with his alter ego Samuel Fach, which was born from his move from Giessen to
Berlin. New life means new influences, new people, new music, especially after a migration into Berlins´ world of music. Samuel Fach released several 12"s on labels like Tonkind or
Flicker. So Samuel Fach differs a bit from Laufmasche, a bit more funk and emotions than uncompromising raw Techno. His latest works combine a clear, minimal, dancefloor structure
fused with playful and funky tones and melodies especially for his new "Music don´t leave me" release for Snork Enterprises. 3 tracks with funk, power, groove and electronic soul. And
again he gets remix support from Jonas Saalbach, who already did a remix for him on Relax2000. Jonas stands for honest techno-music, permeated by powerful basses, graceful
arrangements and dreamy melodies - one might add a lot more attributes, but basically, Jonas Saalbach is refreshingly different. He constantly reinvents his music but refrains from
leaving out distinct nuances, which make his music unmistakable, which he has already also shown on Einmusika records from Berlin. So the new Snork67 is another snorky masterpiece
again! Get freaked!

Mandar are back on Oscillat Music following their stunning five-disc LP from last year, and the deep house super group are sounding as vital as ever. "String Theory" holds court over the A-side and promises to be the soundtrack to many a heart-stirring moment under starry skies this summer. The titular strings are a powerful force in this track, bringing a classy brand of emotion to the slinky dancefloor tones Mandar are best known for. "Poisoned Worlds" is a deeper club cut that places the emphasis on crafty drum science for after hours crew, providing a neat balance to the show-stopping tones of the A-side.

Magic sometimes happens with the wonders of the internet and digital age of the music industry. Lost Again is a great example of just that.The project started in Baltimore by Lomez and the singer Symbol. Then travelled to Florida to get the touch of Atnarko and ended up in Noir's hands (and studio) in Denmark before the beautiful song reached it's end result.

With pure Nordic love, Thorgerdur & A:G break out with their first EP together, setting the mood for their concept Blossy with a blossy EP. Radiant opens up the ride with an electric and uplifting atmosphere, before Allure takes over with some tambourine-driven darker techno. On the flipside, the title track introduces a fairly epic theme on top of seductive rhythms with a strong bassline. Coming full circle, Tingling touches upon the more minimal side, providing trippy elements on top of low-swung 909 grooves, created with a good after in mind.

Inspired by the early industrial pioneers, dead crooners and the unrelenting speed of change, Uncanny Valley combine homemade metallic resonators, pound-shop contact mics and sellotape synthesisers, with human error for unusual effect. Remixes come from the fantastic Manfredas and Mondowski.

Ghent's Muzi Cartel crew step into the label game with this assured four tracker from promising emergent talents. Viktor Udvari is up first with "For Our Love", a fired up but delicately executed techno jam with plenty of harmonic balance to make for the most satisfying trip skywards. Mrsch takes things deeper and groovier on "Pas Cu Pas", leaning heavy on the bass and leaving a little more space in the mix for maximum meditation. For the second installment on his new Extrasketch imprint, Andrew Rasse aka Butane returns to deliver the scintillating 'Sketch Factor', with the four track EP set to drop in mid-October. Following the launch of Extrasketch this July and the closure of Alphahouse earlier in the year, October is set to welcome the second EP in a series of Butane-only productions as the San Francisco based producer continues to dive deep into what he describes as his own exploration about what House and Techno should look, feel and sound like. With EX01 supported by the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Adam Beyer, Truncate, Magda, Dj Sneak, Alexi Delano and Ryan Crosson among others, Rasse's new creative outlet is set to become a quick favourite of many and a sure thing for underground quality and consistency. First up is 'Don't Stop', a stripped back, eclectic affair in which Rasse effortlessly introduces intricate organic percussion amongst bumping sub tones and murky background drones, whilst the sizzling lead synth keeps the track locked in a techno-hypnosis. Cavernous kicks reinforce shimmering hats and a snaking, meandering electro-tinged lead in the driving and dynamic 'Minimum Wage' to conclude the A-Side in fine fashion. Fans of Rasse's work will immediately be drawn to B1 'Go', as trademark Butane drum licks merge with infectious vocal shots to reveal a production born from hazy after-hour dancefloors. 'Ultramax' wraps up the EP with a quirky off-kilter feel as skippy drums work in a free flowing pattern amongst eerie vocal snippets, high pitched bleeps and subtle sonics, creating a hypnotic workout that ensures listeners slowly spiral amongst the productions methodical madness.

Sasha launches his new, limited run ‘LNOE Vinyl Archives’ series on his Last Night On Earth imprint, with ‘Vol.1’ dropping on September 13th. The release features gems like the definitive Hunter/Game ‘Canyons’, Sasha & La Fleur’s massively popular collaboration ‘Förbindelse’, Fur Coat’s recent ‘Babel’ and a new track ‘Maresme’ (Da Silva Mix), from Jon DaSilva and Jozef K. This is the only time these tracks will be available on vinyl, a must-have for record collectors and LNOE label fans alike. ‘Maresme’ drops digitally later in the year, so this will be the first chance for fans to snap it up months ahead of official release. This new series celebrates pivotal cuts from the label’s history, as well as fresh upcoming tracks.

‘The idea came to me when I saw the success of the LNOE100 Compilation. Demand was so huge, we had to do a re-press of the vinyl,’ Sasha says. ‘It seemed like a great way to give new life to classic tracks from the back catalogue in a different format.’ Each limited run release will feature three tracks from the LNOE back catalogue - a recent release, a seminal cut from the archives and a stand-out hit - and an exclusive forthcoming track.

Having spent the past few years quietly building up a dedicated crowd of followers and dancers as a club night, Scenic Route step out for their first offering as a label with three expertly crafted club cuts from Desert Sound Colony, an artist whose pumping productions have provided some of the parties’ most memorable moments. Since his debut release in 2014 on New York’s Scissor & Thread, Desert Sound Colony (real name Liam Wachs) has been refining a deeply personal club sound with releases for the likes of Futureboogie, Me Me Me, his own Holding Hands imprint and most notably of late, Nick Höppner’s Touch From A Distance. In addition to his productions garnering support from the likes of Midland, Raresh, Andrew Weatherall and Lena Willikens, Wachs himself is also a highly sought after DJ whose skills have seen him land bookings at some of the world’s most well respected clubs and festivals, including two stints at Berlin’s Panorama Bar already this year.

His prowess as a DJ has undoubtedly informed the music featured on the Cartographer EP. All three tracks are primarily designed for club use yet their intricate arrangements and undulating instrumentation ensure they remain captivating, despite the effectiveness of their functionality. The EP’s opener, “The Cartographer”, is a sleazy machine-driven odyssey, continuously building and evolving until snapping back into its original groove with a vengeance. “Gypsy Moth” sees Wachs team up with fellow Holding Hands affiliate Guava (real name Bradley Hutchings) for a dangerously syncopated drum workout doused in warped agogo bells, spliced vocals and a two-note bassline with a distinctly London flavor. Rounding the release off is “Budapest”. The combined power of the track’s interlocking kick and bass provide a solid stage for Desert Sound Colony to unleash an eerie arp and pads combo alongside a flurry of stuttering percussion and twisted samples while intermittently sprinkled with an unintelligible and downright ominous pitched down voice.

While Red Axes's ode to the sun is still running strong one and a half years after its release (it even made it into last year's top 50 at Resident Advisor), here comes the heavyweight remix package: German wunderkind Konstantin Sibold is hitchhiking the original into afro rave territories with vodoo percussions and a hauting bassline that will be hard to escape from. Fango from the Italian Degustibis family continues his string of strong remixes as he turns the original into a rough beat version just to drop the melody in the break for maximum dancefloor mayhem. And last but not least the Axes themselves come up with a tropical house version that works any time any place. And thus the sun continues to shine.

UK producer, programmer and DJ Datassette aka John Davies lands on CPU with a stunning braindance E.P. entitled 'Kestrel Manoeuvres In The Dark'. Four tracks of intricate analord-esque rhythms and melodies that will satisfy even the most discerning IDM fans.

I was thrilled when Joe Goddard asked if he could make an EP for the label and were even more thrilled when I heard it. The fact that he roped in the legendary Kool Keith to appear on one track just kept on bringing the thrills.

Here are some lovely words from Joe about this release - 'It's an honour to release some music for this label. I feel that due to the ravages of unrestrained and brutal capitalism, people across the world are finding life particularly difficult right now- both economically and emotionally. Capitalism is an insidious and elusive enemy and many people are currently turning to intolerance and hatred instead of recognising that at these times what we really should attempt to do is love and respect each other as much as possible. Therefore I support Keith's efforts wholeheartedly, and on a personal level I couldn't think of a nicer or more talented person to release an EP with.'

AF Trax's message is very simple. The far right ultimately wish for the destruction of our way of life and indeed the lives of many of the people we love. The message is love. It's a huge pleasure for Nick Curly and Gorge to welcome Oliver Schories on their label with his debut release for 8bit. Oliver is well known for his great output on his very own imprint SOSO and gained much respect with his Nubreed album on Global Underground end of 2017. Thanks to Jansons for such a fabulous remix he added to the release.

Amadeo Savio is next up on Vigenere, the label that has thus far presented a whole host of unknown names in the field of minimal techno all bound together by a shared classiness in their production style. Savio's approach is deep and dubby on opening cut "Isolat", one primed for the after hours. "Trance Later" has a slightly more forthright approach, but there's still plenty of mellow delights to be found in the synth department to keep you chilling. "Encor" heads into more typically minimal pastures, while "Kassion" explores broken beat patterns and fragmented samples with scintillating results.

Moon Harbour is delighted to announce the Autumn 2016 release of Momentum, the second full length album
from label boss Matthias Tanzmann. Arriving eight years after his debut LP Restless, the outstanding follow-up
impressively demonstrates that his artistic restlessness has not been decreasing over the last couple of years.
On the contrary, Momentum undoubtedly proves once more that Matthias' impact on the scene is still steadily
growing with an end not in sight and that his efforts to advance are ever moving forward.
Recent times have found Matthias having huge success via fruitful collaborations with the likes of Martin
Buttrich, Davide Squillace and Daniel Stefanik, amongst others, but now back on his own and more energetic
than ever, he is firing on all cylinders as a solo artist. Loosely rooted in a variety of house styles, Momentum
shows a subtle return to some of Tanzmann's earliest musical roots. Just as Matthias declares himself, It is stuff
to listen to at home, stuff I like to listen to away from the club', before adding that, of course, it also contains
tracks that are 100% what I love playing in my DJ sets.'
The ten track release is an impulsive and emotionally moving affair that offers a fantastic snapshot into the
current musical mind of the artist. With a process initially starting during his times abroad in Thailand and South
America, this most coherent and complete album has been slowly coming together over the last five years. In
customary manner, the album is quite different to a normal EP from the German producer, given that it features
plenty of deeper and more cerebral moments than most of his past works.
With a perfect mixture between listening pleasure and pure dancefloor material, Momentum contains tracks
ranging from deep and broody house style with warm pads streaming over infectious drums to serene and
atmospheric jams with real funk in their bones. Next to more downtempo sultry house vibes, the harder, more
freaky tunes will get floors bumping with their punchy drums, wiggling synths, drilling bass and loopy vocal
sounds. With more soul infused party grooves rounding up the experience, the release truly brings along the
whole range of carefully plotted ups and downs necessary for casting the listener under a hypnotic and heartfelt
spell of house music.

The album will be celebrated with a worldwide release tour from October to December 2016, highlighting once
more that only a few have the exact same sense of electronic music artistry as this man does.

Originally released on the legendary Pacific Records label outta London in 1996, 'EP #1' see the man Lee Renacre don his prestigious 100HZ pseudonym for a killer 4 tracker of rolling future-leaning tech housers. Tons of tones, flavours and styles on this slab of wax, EP opener 'Holic Soda' channels some tripping minimalism, cascading melodies intertwining over shuffling hi-hats giving everything an almost 'Robert Hood lost in London' feel. Ace. 'Foxy' is a very different proposition, it's all stripped back, jazzed out wiggly keys and someone's voice saying 'FOXY' over and over the skeletal drums while the bassline pokes us in the ribs, one for the movers!
The b-side goes scuba diving straight away, the first cut 'Southern Lights' takes us under the waves, to the ocean floor with it's pacey bleeps and incessant chords, easily one of the highlights of this EP and an altogether killer track, true school techno - London style.

'Shapes' finishes us off, a shifting narcotic jam that unfolds and reveals ore and more sounds in the deadliest fashion. In the right hands this (& the other 3) track could do some serious damage in the right space or on the right floor. A masterclass in vintage, late 90's techno and deep house right here - do not miss! MOTHER RECORDINGS welcome SIMION for a new tidy two track EP entitled XTC. This artist has really made a big impression over the last couple of years with releases on labels like Snatch!, Suara, Hedonism, and now he impresses on Mother.

The title track XTC goes first and is six minutes of face melting house with nice gloopy and reversed synth lines tugging you in weird directions. The drums are fresh and the perc sprinkled over the top helps drive things along as vocals pop out of the mix.

Then comes HAUS, a tougher house tune with wooden drum sounds, freaky vocals that are expertly treated and loopy sub bass that really pulls you in. Add some fire vocals that really set things off and you have a sure fire winner.

German DJ and producer ROBOSONIC is back with another of their party starting EPs, this time on MOTHER RECORDINGS. It comes after years of serving up sizzling tunes on labels like DFTD, Kittball and OFF Recordings and across two sweet tunes they really cook up a sonic storm.

PEACH (Original Mix) is first and is a juicy house tune with lovely warm, groovy chords - written together with Jan Weigel. It's a colourful cut with real soul and squelchy bass and is the sort to get the floor filled right up.

ICKE UND SIE (Original Mix) on the flip is another feel good tune, with well swung drums, skipping kicks and well treated vocals that bring a vibe feel. More great chords flesh things out and this is a timeless jam to close out an essential two tracker.

We close the books on 2019 with a dastardly slab of techno shenanigans from DJ Mountain Dad, a new alias of Lobster Theremin’s chief, Jimmy Asquith.

London tech-house stalwart Asad Rizvi continues the remarkable run of his Silverlining Dubs series with this, the 5th instalment, Silverlining V. The release delves into the vaults with a re-release of his 1998 smash Breezin' Thru for A side and then Asad gives his own take on another past anthem in Doodlebug's 'Loose In Your Mind' on the flip. Big tip!
