The Pathway Traxx journey keeps pressing forward and once again brings a well curated EP of quality underground house. We are particularly excited to welcome back DJ W!LD to the label who once again brings his signature stripped back powerful grooves. Remix support comes in from underground favourite Giuliano Lomonte and label boss Niko Maxen.

Fabled duo VIKTOR TALKING MACHINE offers the next Monaberry release. Their track LINE briefly brushes the club with a colorful groove, catchy claps, and sweaty breaks. Intense synth chords merge with hypnotic ethno-vocals into a rich track with a rousing vibe. Italo Brutalo injects line with a shot of 80s House, thus creating a fluorescend remix for the hottest hours at the club.
JOKO moves straight to the dancefloor, mesmerizing all senses with a fairytale arrangement, goosebumpy melodies, and a warm synth line. Then After EP includes two tracks featuring Alex Who 'When we first met Alex there was chemistry off the bat. With inspiration of being young and free, the lyrics and vibe to "Why Not"came together with ease. As the production progressed, the darker tribal elements came to life.
We wanted this track to resonate with the free spirited. This track tends to be a favorite of night.
"Born By The River", A Happy Mistake. The vocals, the elements, the soul, all stemmed from animpromptu recording and this beauty was born. With a list of organic household recordings,accompanied by a warm low end, we aimed to create a track that defied all genres.
"Talky Talkie" is the most club oriented track of the EP, with a persistent groove and synth elements that work perfectly on the dancefloor.
"I'll Wait" brings our bohemian flavour to shine, a track that's comfortable being played anywherefrom Burning Man, lost in the desert to the deep warehouses of Brooklyn's underground.
The digital release will include a special remix by Superlounge, a German duo known for their smooth house vibes. This is a must have release, available first on the label's shop online;

The next EP to land on VL Recordings comes from none other than the label chief himself, Hector.
Reanimating the label with a solid three-tracker named 'Rogue Traders', this is the producer's first solo dispatch on the imprint since his inaugural 'Jacuzzi Killer' EP in 2016.
'Rogue Traders' unleashes a torrent of brooding club cuts. Kicking off with the title track - a moody, cold-blooded weapon, and finishing on the thrumming bassline that supercharges 'Self Made', we're left feeling hellbent on finding Hector behind the booth.

Lone continues to thrive on his newly established label, Ancient Astronauts, with its second physical release of the year, the ‘Not Seeing Is a Flower’.Steering towards a new studio album from the Nottingham-based producer, the three-track EP takes its name from a Japanese idiom (見ぬが花), which suggests that reality cannot compete with imagination. Lapping at varied shades of the psyche, ‘Glyphic’ kicks things off with a heavyweight tribal techno cut inspired by Cutler’s experiences at Bass Coast festival this summer, fusing 303 acid with sweltering piano lines and otherworldly vocals for a transcendental dancefloor experience. The senses are heightened with title-track ‘Not Seeing Is A Flower’, which reaches beyond reality with slowly spoken samples effortlessly melting into a lush ambient techno backdrop reminiscent of early work from The Future Sound Of London, Orbital, and The Black Dog. Finally, ‘Boketto’ sees Lone embrace the same tone of downtempo trip-hop detailed on his albums ‘Lemurian’ and ‘Reality Testing’ with rolling percussion and meditative chimes drawing close on some of the producer’s most lavish work to date.

The new JWB comes courtesy of Pattern Drama (Get Physical, Akbal) his first EP into the label, he teamed up with a talent producer and singer Jonny Cruz for a four-track EP overflowing with personality.

From the deep groove Sin city' with it's warm vocal textures and 90´s allusions is a perfect track for dancing on a rooftop and watching a city descend into the underground.

Albion Records drops its first record of the year and it's to make it's 7 years... and a bit anniversary. Celebrating with a various artists release, it's a 8-track double EP and it does not disappoint.

Moscow based Engineer is back with 4th release. The A1 Is a powerful minimalistic bomb by Engineer founder Wyro and Mobile Soul System, which is followed with a marvelous remix by the Romanian young star, Mihai Pol. On the B side there is a vibrant and rolling dance floor ready weapon by Farid Odilbekov plus a hypnotic groovy tool by the russian talent, Alfij.

SUPERFETT RECORDS serves up release number four and again knocks it out of the park with a slick track from SHAF HUSE.

Though relatively new to the scene, the Milan producer has won fans for his shuffling, tech-meets-house productions and remixes on labels like Avotre. He's also producer with Music On resident Leon and has had his 'Mavado' tune named as an anthem by Ibiza party Circoloco during last years closing season.

- Get Em Up' is a techy, bristling tune with razor sharp hi hats and nebulous vocals drifting and shifting about the mix. It's a punchy but loose groove that really gets under your skin and builds through percussive energy to an arresting peak. When it drops again, the club will go wild as the robust drums groove on. Raxon hails from Egypt, is Barcelona based and has risen through the ranks with a well-crafted and emotive techno sound on labels like Diynamic, Kompakt, Cocoon and more. Though he has made big moves in recent years, Raxon has been deeply involved in the scene for more than two decades.

KUSI Records proudly presents Livio & Roby on their 7th release. For the first time we skipped the remix on this one because the Romanian DJ Team delivers two dope originals you definitely shouldn't miss.

Widely acclaimed techno pioneer Nicole Moudaber has delivered the release of her 'Adoption' EP, a two-track production on Nicole's own MOOD label which sees the dynamic producer tackle two tracks from one of the most important innovators of dance music since the 90s, Moby.

First up she offers a uniquely dark and twisted rework of 'Like a Motherless child', pitching down Moby's vocals to create a deep demonic sound, verging into a range of immersive textures.

On the flip side Moudaber spins a heavy and grinding feel on her remix of Moby's 'Mere Anarchy', (taken from 2018 album 'Everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt'). Moudaber packs the mix with haunting melodies, with the subtle use of orchestral sounds adding a hypnotic feel to the release.

Nicole's MOOD has served as a home for an array of the most intriguing productions of recent times since launching 5 years ago, previously hosting names such as Carl Craig, Alvaro Am, Pan-Pot, Pleasurekraft and Carl Cox, who Nicole recently collaborated with for her milestone 50th release on the imprint. An event promoter, record label founder, radio host, and one of the most passionately followed DJ/producers in the world, Nicole Moudaber is a one-woman army marching her muscular take on techno all over the globe.

After a sold-out release on Courtesy of Balance which gained huge support and plays from some key DJs, Nat Wendell returns to his own imprint with another dancefloor heavy, 3track EP. "Reality" kicks of the 3 track EP with some pulsating stabs, mixed with trippy underlays over a swingy stripped back Deep House rhythm. Flip the record and you're presented with a bouncy, yet dubby adventure "Can't Stop". The title track "Renditions" doesn't let up with any of the deep energetic tones set. Here Nat teases out a deeper yet up tempo way to end the release.

forces once again, this time with a fiery three-part offering for Hot Creations.
Acid Terrace opens the EP - a rumbling roller that cuts a fierce groove
complimented by intriguing vocal samples. Shake It plunges in full power with its
heavy-hitting bassline and rhythmic beat. Closing the package, Jam Tight is a funky
number that chops and blends vocals alongside pads, adding classic house
elements that create a solid, dancefloor burner.

The pairing of Sammy W & Tobus first came to our attention back in 2011. Their
fresh approach to DJ sets has garnered support from some of the scene's top DJs.
They seamlessly blend and blur the lines between genres, creating their own sound
using elements of tech-house, funk and hip-hop. They've released music on 8bit,
Repopulate Mars, Roush, Mr. Nice Guy, Brock Wild, as well as running their own
labels Tobus X and Tobus Limited.

With his latest No. 1 success 'Don't Stop' Gorge proved again his skills and instincts how to create timeless dancefloor fillers. Nearly 10 months later he's back on his imprint with two more bangers to confirm his exceptional status. There's just no way around Gorge.

Volupso returns with it's 8th release courtesy of Luminer & Topper. Luminer are part of We Play The Music We Love organization based in Turin and have graced the booth with many a great name. Here they provide their production skills with two original tracks with Topper adding some Schoolbus touches to the remix of Nightware.

Dutch Techno master Orlando Voorn has opened up his archive for the second essential instalment of an ongoing artist focused series brought to you by new imprint Above Board Projects. The compilation will be spread across 2 double 12" volumes and will feature tracks from many of Voorn's pseudonyms including; Fix, Baruka, The Ghetto Brothers, Mute & many more. We are proud to introduce the first of a 2-part archival collection entitled 'Diligence'. Each track featured on the compilation has been carefully selected and programmed in conjunction with Orlando Voorn and the Above Board Projects team. Voorn has an extremely long and storied career in making music and is severely underrated as a producer in our humble opinion. His DJ skills are, of course, legendary, with him winning the prestigious DMC mixing championships in 1986 in his native Holland and making a career as one of the country's leading Hip-Hop DJ's. As a producer he has long been linked to numerous legendary producers and releases, counting labels such as Fragile, Metroplex and more as homes for his output. His association and collaborations with Detroit have been the stuff of legend since day one and some of the music contained within these compilations celebrate that while showcasing some of the more overlooked tracks from the man's more than extensive catalogue. Part 2 opens with the minimalistic bladerunner Techno of Voorn & Juan Atkins' Infiniti classic 'Game One', a true modern classic, also featured is the rolling, paranoia inducing late night groove of 'Dream World' from one of Voorn's more obscure projects Complex, all showcasing a wide variety of styles and sounds. Flawless selections from the early 90's sitting alongside later productions only go to show how diverse and talented an artist Voorn is and how fresh and vital his music still is today. Goodbye 2017, hello future! Monaberry proudly present their final release of the year with the one and only Upercent. New to the label but no stranger to our record collections, the Valencian artist has made a name for himself over the last few years on labels such as Diynamic, UponYou, Snatch!, Sincopat and Culprit among others with a spell-binding sound that's consistently rich in emotion and hypnotically heavy in weight... A sound that fits the Halle house label perfectly.

Proof is in the listening, 'Fastic' is an eight minute mystical movement that ripples with layers and dynamics. The shimmering percussion, the bluesy guitar twangs, the far-away vocal yearns, the gentle enveloping ebbs and flows with elements of tribal, tech and prog and fat dollops of cosmicity.

'Badarra' flips the groove coin with a much denser bass/kick relationship. Palpitating, pumping and progressively developing momentum element by element, key transition points include the molten chimes, the scattering percussion, the strange humanisations and the black hole breakdown that sucks deep deep deep into the silence before catapulting you back into the insistent pumps and added Spanish strums. Weighing in at almost nine minutes, once again it's an open and shut case of full immersion. And Monaberry wouldn't have it any other way.

The first artist other than label head Patrick Topping to release on TRICK , his Geordie compatriot Adamson delivers an eclectic mix of tracks. The EP opener and title track, ‘Electric Acid Tater Tots’ is an acid-soaked techno slammer, strung together by Elliots own robotic vocals. Skream then steps up to deliver the labels first ever remix, a trippy, high-energy workout, before the Electric Acid Tater Vox offers a stripped-back vocal version which is available exclusively on the vinyl. Over on the B-side, ‘NYC Dada’ is an infectious disco-house edit destined to fill countless dancefloors, then ‘11am in Brisbane’ delves into melodic techno waters.
“I don't recall writing the lyrics, but I like to believe they appeared in the notes in my phone delivered by some divine spirit via the medium of an Apple iPhone XR - cheers Steve,” Adamson jokes. “About four instrumentals existed for about four weeks and I would often find myself standing on the table at parties singing out the lyrics excitedly trying to explain that 'this is my song.’” - Elliot Adamson The record is also accompanied by two exclusive bonus tracks. Lesgo Lesgo Lesgo is a true techno odyssey and bonus purely for digital copies of the EP. Then, there is the Electric Acid Tater Tots (Acid Mix) , a secret dubplate that has only been sent out to a select number of DJs. A true weapon for the warehouses.

Amsterdam based Luuk van Dijk is welcomed into the Hot Creations fold this July with his heavy-hitting Parallax E.P. Chicago production wizard DJ Skull is also on board to rework the B-side.

Title track Parallax is set to cause a serious stir at festivals and clubs alike this summer. The smattering of high-hats elevate the track as the space-like beeps and blips add another facet. On the flip, Dimension applies an ominous vocal stab as the bass rumbles perfect for low ceiling basement raves. On the remix, DJ Skull adds a touch of Chicago class via some softer vocals, dubby chords and a pounding bass. At the tender age of 22, Luuk van Dijk has been signed to acclaimed labels such as VIVa Music, Roush, Food Music, Sanity and Lost Records. Championed by stalwarts such as Steve Lawler and Eats Everything, he has taken his sound to some of the world's most prestigious events.

Ron Maney aka DJ Skull became known for being one of the first DJs to play the new sound coming out of Chicago, honing his craft at the infamous Music Box and Power Plant. Releasing records since the early 90s, he later launched his own labels Hypnotic Tones and Wax Candy Records. Recent releases have appeared on Chiwax, Domina Trxxx and Mentha Records.

London duo Damian Daley & Danny Dixon aka OdD return to FUSE sister label Infuse to follow up their breakthrough Cold Fusion EP with a four-track EP titled 'Tones Of The 90s'.

Lead track 'Tones Of The 90's' brings together the core elements of the London underground scene. Snappy hi-hats combine with subtle tones and garage-like vocal samples and plenty of bass. A2 'Phone Home' starts with the famous ET sample. Once again it's the snappy hi-hats that take centre stage, working alongside a well-programmed loop that bubbles throughout underneath the surface.

On the flip, loopy drum patterns dominate B1 'Yes Yes' before the EP comes to an end with the pick of the bunch 'Pressure'. Low-end frequencies combine with a dreamy synth line, signing off the release in typical Infuse style.

Fast-rising Balcan newcomer Reblok presents his scintillating Hot Creations debut single Smile, released this October on the acclaimed label. The fist-pumping groove of Smile opens the release, driving hi-hats are introduced, bounding into anthemic pop-rap vocals, alongside playful keys that add colour to ignite the dance floor. On Roots the sense of fun is continued, snare-rolls combine with mouth-watering filtered synth and springy samples, creating a heads-down, hands up tool. Originally from Croatia but now residing in Serbia, Goran Paradinja also known as Reblok is one of the best newcomers to the scene. He has released an already impressive back catalogue of music on some of the biggest labels including Elrow, Viva Music, Suara, Toolroom, Repopulate Mars, Sola, Abode, Stereo Productions and Material. As well as recently touring across the globe in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Germany and the Czech Republic, his music has been played by some of the most respected DJs such as Jamie Jones, Steve Lawler, Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers and Seth Troxler. The rapid rate in which Reblok’s career is growing looks set to continue as the world discovers his incredible productions and DJ sets.

Default Records has returned with its second release after compiling a roster of artists who are committed to establishing presence in the scene by pushing boundaries and pursuing excellence. Camelia starts us off on the A side with *Transferring*, which presents itself in a light and airy atmosphere. Its playful percussive notes are juxtaposed against its hypnotic groove making for a warm and easy listen. Macarie follows with *Flu*, a vibrant and dance-inducing sludge of gritty, piercing elements that seamlessly blooms into an emotional melody that is driven by its tantalizing rhythm. Label boss Exander shows the heavier side of his creative spectrum on the B side with *Odyssey*. The fullness of this cut accompanied by its intriguing and directive vocal is only enhanced by its delicate features and attention to detail. Closing out the compilation is Lulla's *Distort Time* which reveals all its insides with a symphony of glitchy bleeps and blops all reinforced by a cadence of drums and groove that stirs it into an electric soup.

After ten years of not taking themselves too seriously the Groningen creative collective KopjeK thought it was high time for the next step. Their residents have grown from local-pub-DJ’s to (inter)nationally acclaimed DJ’s and producers, so starting their own record label feels felt like a logical move. KOPREC001 is the debut solo-EP of Nathan Homan and features two originals; the breaky, spacey and pacey club banger “CUL8TR” on A1 and the more smooth, sexy and laid back house stomper “Wapperwang” on the flip side. The EP is completed by two remixes; one slow paced, highly emotional and arpeggio-heavy rework of “CUL8TR” by Tjade, the producer who recently rose to fame with his “Koi Jaye edit” on Bordello a Parigi, and a heavy drum and acid infused rework of “Wapperwang” by Mathijs Smit, the latest addition to the KopjeK talent pool.

Photonz is the alias of Marco Rodrigues a DJ, producer and driving force of Lisbon's underground scene. For little over a decade now, he's been crafting his own deeply personal style of Portuguese house and techno. As a DJ, Photonz grew a reputation for deep crates and intensely euphoric sets and in 2017, together with Violet (co-founder at his Radio Quantica) and Lisbon's own Rabbit Hole collective, he started the now infamous Mina parties - a monthly, sex-positive, queer and intersectional-feminist techno party aimed at using the dissociative potential of intense raving to create a temporary space of suspension away from patriarchal expectations. 'Nuit' is Photonz?s debut album and a simultaneous reference the Egyptian Goddess of the Stars or Night. Marco was really swept away by the concept of ?freedom of form under the night sky?, the accepting embrace of Nuit. Ancestral, but also socially advanced and utopian; a deification of the night time. These ideas manifest themselves as eleven songs spread across two LPs that wax and wane like the moon. Photonz channels early techno, Drexciyan rhythms, balearic & atmospheric house; layering sounds, creating moments. All songs have been mastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. While Robosonic's extraordinary OFF debut - Worst Love' was paying homage to a specific underground rap record by the Dilated Peoples (actually without sampling the record itself), the follow-up now takes it way over the edge: consciously, of sound mind. Since their early vinyl bootlegs (2005) under various aliases and their critically acclaimed first album as Robosonic (2007), Cord and Sacha incorporate a certain sense of irony into their undisputed world class production work. For their next episode on OFF, the boys cut slices of hiphop sample history and flipped them into seriously soulful house music joints. Functional arrangements with plenty of musical references to golden eras and past times create the emotional depth of Robosonic's modern - hi-tech soul'.

- OVER' with its intimate feel seems less obvious than the famous hookline of - THE EDGE'. In fact Dr. Dre was not the first beatmaker to cook it up, so Robosonic probably aren't the last either. They just do what they like doing best. Funnily enough our praised creators anticipate critics and let Talib do the talking: - These cats ain't real.'

As the title suggests 'On Flute' shows us how diverse Tenderlonious's musicianship is as he embellishes each song with his signature flute sound. 'Ghana' sets the pace of the record with up-tempo afro beats, complimented by keys, strings, a distinctive lead synth and of course a soaring flute solo. 'Autumn Leaves' follows with a more UK broken-beat flavour, revealing a darker sense of atmosphere. Side A closes with 'Oedo Bushi,' a comparatively stripped back tune, a simple conga rhythm with flute and xylophone solos weaving in and out as if in conversation with each other.

Side B starts strong and steady with 'Song For My Father', an upbeat number fusing funk and disco to create the perfect dance floor filler that builds to a climax with one of Tenderlonious's wild flute solos (one of my personal favourites!). 'In A Sentimental Mood' follows and, as the title suggests, shows the listener how this producer came by his name. Tender flute inflections and sensitive lead synths, backed by quiet whispers make this the perfect accompaniment to an intimate candle lit dinner. The EP finishes with 'Dale's Corner,' another broken feel on this one with delayed Rhodes supported by tasteful flute lines throughout - it leaves the listener feeling uplifted and wanting more.

Terrence Parker (known to many as "TP") born and raised in Detroit, has become legendary for his quite uncommon yet skillful turntablism style of playing House Music. TP has also become widely admired because he uses an actual telephone handset as headphones. Terrence has performed as a DJ in 40 countries throughout the world and has released more than 100 recordings on his Intangible Records label and various labels including Sony, Defected, Nervous, Kingstreet, and Purple Music.
Terrence has top 20 hits with his songs "Love's Got Me High", "The Question" and albums like 'Life On The Back 9' and "Detroit After Dark". Terrence is also making his mark as a techno producer with his 'Alarm The Sound' track topping the 2016 Traxsource Top 200 Techno Singles chart at Number # 3.
'GOD Loves Detroit' is Terrence Parker's new album due for release June 30th on Planet E Communications (Detroit). This new album features TP collaborations with Coco Street, and additional projects with Merachka (who co-produced, co-wrote, and sings on the first single entitled 'Don't Waste Another Minute' which also features a remix by London's As I Am) released in February 2016.

Before an upcoming album in 2020 on Heavenly Sweetness, Mama is the first single. A track in which the balafon’s woody resonance, the meditative flute and the female choruses return to the Creole roots of David, recall the memory of his Caribbean grandfather exiled to New York but, above all, a title dedicated to his grandmother, who after the last soaring electro-disco, she comes to declaim the text on the ultimate measures. David Walters will have thought of it, conceived and realized in close collaboration with Patchworks. Then, in the wake of the single Mama released in the month of each of them took the title, isolated himself in the studio with instruments and machines to come out only with a total reinterpretation, but especially personal, of the title. Hammering bass drum and snare drum bursts, David has entrusted the direction of operations to the rhythmic, and it is one after the other that digital elements were invited to transform the original maternal softness into a boiling soundsystem. Synths their strings on the hum of the bass, the hypnotic power of the riddim remains.
Two remixes, two atmospheres. The Patchworks scene is set in a jazz-funk setting, an heritage from Roy Ayers and Lonnie Liston Smith. Powerful drum, enrobing bass, the Fender Rhodes becomes a soloist, motivated by this irrepressible groove, first become a soloist. And that the meshes leave the hands of the balafon player to pass in those of the vibraphonist.

Dutch underground acid-techno act Random XS strikes again with two rugged and authentic dance floor rockers. After a long awaited re-release of their Djax-Up-Beats classic 'Give Your Body' last year on Delsin, they return with a pair of fresh and unheard acid jams on the closely related MOS Recordings. Both tracks recorded in the early '90s, but only recently finalized and improved for heavy club impact. It's an EP full with gurgling 303 grooves and raw energy in the traditional and energetic Random XS way.

Mysterious acid rhythms, creeping from South America. ‘Eterna Procrastinacion’ has taken shape via the sounds of, Michelle. Off the back of her recent LP on ‘My Own Jupiter’ it is now her turn to show her cards on London’s OPIA. Accompanying her on the release is talented live artist and producer, Muten. Head first in to the deep end with ‘Virtual Analog’, no holds barred from Michelle, delivering a pacey number straight off the bat. Setting the tone for what is in store. Do not be fooled by the floating tones of ‘Clavia’, shortly in to the trip you will be transcended by an abrupt bassline, reinforced by a distinctive groove. Falling in to the dramatic synths of ‘Anomalia Armonica’ is an easy mistake to make, it simply can not be helped accompanied with the broken drums and acid rainfalls. A package coming from far outside the box is ‘Vlad’, Muten’s solo output on the release. An intriguing insight of his capabilities here. ‘Roll Tubes’ sees the pair explore new realms together, twisting and turning through the dark depths of ‘Eterna Procrastinacion’. No escape from this one.

Italian pairing Ruff Stuff have been living quite a charmed existence of late. Known individually as Nanni & Francois, this house-loving pair have rocked up on a host of well-renowned labels, including Quality Vibe, Neovinyl, Berlin Bass Collective, and King Street Sounds. However, it's their work on their own label, the aptly names Ruff Stuff Music Ltd, for which they're arguably best renowned. Their latest release, the sixth on the label, is arguably one of their best yet. Channeling classic house vibes throughout and calling on a remix from British man-of-the-moment Harrison BDP, it's an intoxicating listen that keeps the listener n their toes throughout.

Kicking off the release is the sounds of 'Ain't No Buddy'. The sort of up-tempo jam that would make Kerri Chandler blush, this one bares all the hallmarks of a classic Strictly or Nu Groove jam. Feeling a wailing diva vocal at its core, this is trippy house of the sort that's most definitely been made for the dancefloor. Absolutely spellbinding stuff.

The A side is then rounded off courtesy of another original, 'Last Chance'. The boys cleverly keep the energy intact on this one, with another banging track that follows a similar framework to what's arrived before. Another high energy cut with a raucous baseline, this one too is sure to elicit complete pandemonium on the dancefloor. The aforementioned Harrison BDP then gets the B side underway via a remix that's a far cry from the original. More restrained and atmospheric than its predecessor, it serves up a neat interpretation that nicely compliments the merits of the original.

Closing off the bumper package is the sounds of Ruff Stuff's 'BrainTrust'. As is often the case, the B2 here is an absolute weapon - and one that's sure to win the boys plaudits aplenty. A refined, timeless-sounding gem, 'BrainTrust' has 'class' etched firmly on its side. A stunning array of tracks that showcase just what this duo is about, the label's sixth release is definitely one worth savouring.

The Beeyou crew are back with an EP spring loaded with groove, soul and rolling baselines, Mystery men Xhz take control of the A1 with a timeless master piece, Jake Flory is the main behind the grooves on the B side. B1. 14th Groove is a beautifully pieced melodic roller & the B2. Distress is a striped back swing infected track perfect for creating an atmosphere.

Last summer during an evening spent with my friend Dj Topha, we came upon the everlasting subject of old versus new. 'I'm finding so much great music right now, and not just digging back in time but exploring our own timeline geographically too,' he said, 'The level of production these days is rising fast. You have to check out these snippets from a new label based in Casablanca.' m Not long after, in an interesting twist of fate, Driss Bennis and I began to exchange music: I shared his Soundcloud for the first Casa Voyager release, and he sent me a promo copy which I played out a lot. It seemed only logical to ask him for music for Basic Moves. Later that summer we met in Paris for a convivial back to back at Dawidu's shop, Te Iubesc Records and Sapology. It was as simple as that, and in a few weeks Basic Moves 04 was ready. Night Train and Overseas blew me away by their quality - the tracks are retro-esque yet fresh, and stem from a loose approach to electro. Their arrangements are very smart; not everything is revealed the first time round. The more you listen, the more you understand that the power of the tracks lies in the details. Together with Ailsa's artwork, Stefan's cut and Chris' mixes the release fell so smoothly into place.
I have come to realise how important it is for the scene to release recently produced music as well as treasures from the past. You can't build a community by only playing old records. It's about a combination, about finding gems that glide together. Old and new. And for that, I think both these DJ Booth tracks really fit the bill.

Legend has it that Brian Eno's concept of ambient music came to him while laid up in a hospital bed after an automobile accident in the '70s. A friend brought him some records, playing them too low to be properly heard, and Eno couldn't get out of bed to adjust the volume. While the record spun softly, Eno's idea for music you could ignore as easily as you could give it your full attention, like a sort of sonic wallpaper, was born. It's in that spirit of quiet isolation that Ghostly International, in association with Adult Swim, shares Ghostly Swim 2, our way of giving listeners a space to get away from the manic holiday bustle.

For those keeping track at home, Ghostly is wrapping up its 15th anniversary as an Ann Arbor/Brooklyn-based indie. 2014 has seen the company soundtracking video games (Playstation's Hohokum), collaborating with awesome companies like Warby Parker and VOID watches, and clearing 300 releases of forward-thinking music with records from Tycho, Com Truise, and HTRK. What better way to end this banner year than to revisit one of our favorite partnerships from the past decade and a half Released in 2008, Ghostly Swim was praised for its adventurous survey of exploratory dance and pop music. Our curatorial focus has shifted this time around, moving further inward (spiritually) and outward (as far as our roster goes) to reflect the electronic underground in all of its hazy and vibrant experimentalism. Ghostly Swim 2 is a document of textured ambient zone-outs and woozy, granular house and techno that will help you find some downtime away from The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. So sit back, lower the volume, and enjoy our selections.

A² returns after a couple of years and serves the "Resurgence EP".

Hailing from Ibiza, Beeyou makes its first outing as a label with a strong selection of up and coming talent. Laidlaw is first on the scene with a crafty little minimal number that certainly sounds tailored to the up all night crew with its heady atmosphere, playful swing and micro samples. Ben Ulrich's "Bedun" is equally seductive, playing a trade in stripped down electro that shuns obvious dancefloor moves in favour of pure hypnotism. Kesh holds down the B-side with two more maximal offerings that still align with the inventive, sleek aesthetics of the A-side tracks. "Enebodiom" is a feel good jam without ever resorting to cheesy melodies or vocal touches - it's a jazzed out variation on positivity in house music. "We Love You Michael" completes the record with a quintessential skittering, swinging house cut that keeps the freakiness in abundance and the drums as funky as possible.

On their 15th offering Maeve present you two originals from New Jackson, each backed with a remix by label head: Mano Le Tough.

After five years Patrice W. returns with a new vinyl on Delude Records. On these release are four brand new tracks with a lot of new fresh techno and tech house grooves.
On the A side are the track GRAVITY and SOLAR, very good techno tracks with nicely arranged tech house elements.
On the B side are the tracks RADIATION, a nice melodic tech house hot stepper with good synthesizer sound and COSMIC, a very beautiful dreamy track in PATRICE W. style.

Moon Harbour kick off 2016 with a very special collaborative EP featuring two essential tracks. They have been produced by label boss Matthias Tanzmann and fellow Leipzig-based artist Daniel Stefanik, and it is the first time in almost a decade the esteemed pair have worked together.

Stefanik is a someone who produces everything from main room techno to much more intricate and elongated tracks of minimal percussion, and he has done so most often on Cocoon as well as
Moon Harbour and Cargo Edition over the years. Coming together with esteemed tech tastemaker Tanzmann brings out some truly infectious grooves from both parties on this tidy package.

The excellent 'Volta' is first and is a lively cut with busy, bobbing drums making for a loose limbed, booty shaking groove. Edgy synths and smart filters add real drama and dynamism to the track as it twists and turns over the course of seven essential minutes.

The brilliant b-side is 'Swamp' which is a deeper, more firmly rooted and physical track. Wobbly snares come coated in reverb, curious stabs add a certain freakiness and rubber drums roll on
and on below. Some cut up vocal sounds and subtle diva cries add a human element to this most effortless fluid and groovy dance floor bomb and ensure that it will send all hands skyward when dropped into any set.

On this evidence, Matthias Tanzmann and Daniel Stefanik need to collaborate more often, because both tracks here are immediate modern classics.

Crosstown Rebels welcome Tochno Techno label owner Yulia Niko to release her first full EP, Paradise, a captivating three track EP featuring jazz bossanova vocalist Sil Romero and Italian talent Cioz on remix duty. Opening track Caminando encapsulates Yulia’s inspiration from walking on the White Isle of Ibiza where she spent the last year living. The hypnotising deep house melody of swirly synth pads and Sil Romero’s beautiful dreamy vocals wash over skipping percussion in an emotive composition. Cioz puts his own melodic stamp on the remix, creating a progressive club piece with bright keys over a reshaped bass line. Paradise continues the warm, ethereal atmosphere of the EP, bongos dance on hats as lush, relaxing tones fade in and out. Russian-born DJ, producer and label owner, Yulia Niko learned her trade in the clubs of her hometown before moving to the US to work as a resident DJ at Verboten, Brooklyn and Heart in Miami. Now touring the world, she is based in Berlin and runs a vinyl only label, Tochno Techno. She has also released on other esteemed labels such as Get Physical Music, Nervous, Heisenberg, Natura Viva and Dee-P-erfect.

Feliks peels off the skintight dolphin costume, looks deep into Mathias' eyes and says: "Halle Saale." The birth of the second album of these two guys from Halle is just as beautiful as the tracks themselves.

After "Heimatmelodien", intended almost exclusively for the dance floors of this and other parallel worlds, accelerated the pulses of the 4/4 Electronic Music fans, the pair are now venturing on deeper and more picturesque paths with their new album - and sometimes even disappear into the forest to pick some Pop. The needle captures the first mountains and valleys and can hardly wait to pass them on. A soundscape of unknown proportions begins to emerge. Opa Herbert breathes the first vocals into the vastness of space; we embark on an endless journey, accompanied by bells and fresh whole milk. What do we learn from this trip Cryptic titles which, after a while, become crystal clear to us and a cover that could not be more disturbing. A setting in which there are no rules. Neither time nor space is respected here and viewing habits are trampled on. If we follow the path that leads inside this setting, we will find the two at their favorite pastime and will never be able to tear our eyes away from them again. The laboratory, full of boiling and bubbling vials: Such was the nursery of the two astronauts Feliks and Mathias before they quit their jobs as air traffic controllers in order to amaze us time and again with their skills as a DJ act. For almost 30 years they have been one of the top acts on the electronic club scene and never grow tired of reinventing themselves and trying new things. Halle, also known as the diva in gray, was the model for the second album and reveals herself in all her facets. We are enchanted by her siren-like voice, carried by Lilou and Ponybande. She shows us her dirty thoughts and sends us back to the department of dairy products with a headbutt...
