Renowned Frankfurt-based producer Anthony Rother delivers an otherworldly release on Rekids offshoot, Stranger in The Night.
Very few electronic music artists stand the test of time but German electro pioneer and visionary, Anthony Rother, is one of them.

Whether running labels like Psi49Net, Stahl Industries and Datapunk or working alongside the likes of Sven Väth, DJ Hell and Kraftwerk’s Karl Bartos, Rother’s legacy stands tall. Having made recent appearances on DVS1’s Mistress or Danny Daze’s OMNIDISC, Rother now connects with Stranger In The Night, joining a tight roster of luminaries including King Britt, Fred P and label boss Radio Slave.

‘We Are The Future’ opens the package with sci-fi synths, a decaying vocal and arpeggiated highs, before ‘Super Future Metropolis’ continues the theme with ultramodern vocoding and industrial drum patterns.

Following on, ‘The Message’ sweeps in with laser-like stabs and a leading lyrical sample until two new perspectives conclude the package: the multi-layered ‘We Are The Future (D-Cut)’ with it's intricate keys and a ‘Space Mix’ of ‘The Message’ which widens
the audio journey with lightly flowing pads.

One of Italy's most revered producers on the global scene, Bottin is always ready with an invigorating palette of sounds and rhythms that stem from his endless thirst for invention. This new release continues that diverse legacy with Balearic-infused pair of Italo cuts. "Waterland," is a buoyant disco number. Its bass ebbs and flows with wave-like consistency, polyrhythmic drums percolate beneath, creating a type of suspended animation that propels motion with a tempered energy. The slow-burning crescendo of Respirare' begins with an airtight blend of tick-tock rhythm and minimal then the pace picks up and the synths pile on. Bottin takes the blissed-out enchantment of the Balearic and infuses it with the kinesis of Italo without the music losing its easy-breeze stride.

Recorded at John's last night at The Vagabond Nightclub in Downtown Miami during this year's Miami Music Week, 'LIVE IN MIAMI' features 37 tracks and nearly 4 hours of the very best underground electronic music, spanning across more than two decades.

An urgent, headstrong body of work, the LP uses the music as a mechanism for delivering ideas central to the group’s moral and political ethos. Vargas explores themes of power, identity, surveillance and environmental justice atop Rochman’s raw mix of rave synths, acid basslines, breakbeats and dembow rhythms.
While at times unpredictable, the album is unified in its fast and loose approach. A Mí Me Juzgan Por Ser Mujer (‘I Am Judged Because I’m a Woman’) is an anti-machista anthem, stylistically nodding to NY house. Though Vargas doesn’t identify as a woman themselves, they understand their experience as a woman in an imbalanced patriarchal society that excludes women, femmes and non-binary people. Habla Tu Verdad (‘Speak Your Truth’) emphasizes the need to overcome the stigma around discussing sexual harassment, offering courage and strength to those who may need it. Asegura (‘Secure’) deals with the unprecedented power of Big Data, which monetizes a surveillance based economy through its users’ data and behaviours. These themes are set to fierce unrelenting bpms, nods to gabber, and samples of a reality show where young men compete in a prison fitness contest. Caderona (‘big hips’), features a hardline perreo-tinged beat that carries Vargas’ vocals with refreshing ferocity.
Inspired by a cumbia song, Caderona offers a counterpoint to the male gaze, acting as an opportunity to demand space. Aquí describes the reality of a global corporate domination, where capitalist insatiability meets government inaction as we sit on the precipice of a mass extinction of our own making. Pelada hope to inspire critical self- reflexivity through engagement, building power, demanding space and action. Or as it is written in their liner notes: ‘ABRE TUS OJOS, LA BESTIA SE ALIMENTA DE LA EXPLOTACIÓN’ which translates to ‘OPEN YOUR EYES, THE BEAST FEEDS ON EXPLOITATION’.

Between the vast flatlands of Western Ukraine and the Pacific shores of Vladivostok, a new quirky techno underground has been racking up hefty grid rhythms below the radar. Initially free from the weekend routines of the established club circuit, producers from Etapp Kyle to Stanislav Tolkachev have been experimenting with the possibilities of shifting grids in their post-socialist bedroom studios. The interconnecting conduit of these geographically isolated minds has often been the radio show of Nikita Zabelin, a Moscow-based DJ mining the local torrents for treasures. Vladimir Dubyshkin is one premier example of how this culture yields wildly exciting finds. Listening to how sweepingly effective his de-centered vision of techno is, it's hard to believe that this actually is his first fully fledged vinyl release. Hailing from Tambov, a city of 280.000 souls 460 km southeast of Moscow, Vladimir Dubyshkin is a regular of Zabelin's show and has contributed tracks to two compilations on Nina Kraviz's TRIP label - another major force in bringing great techno from the fringes of the former Soviet Union to the attention of the world. The "For Various Reasons EP", coming in two separate installments, now shows the full picture of Dubyshkin's special talents. Highly energetic, rave-infested analog techno with de-tuned melodies rubbing against take-no-prisoners basslines. There is an intense emotional component present at all times, typically missing in Western grayscale techno. And once again, the great promise of participation of techno has been proved alive and well, with the freshest contribution coming from the least expected of places.

Will Saul is a key figure in UK dance music. Approaching his twentieth anniversary as a DJ, producer and label founder, Saul has helped break the career of key artists such as Leon Vynehall, Midland and Dusky via his Aus Music label, has himself played some of the world’s finest nightclubs and contributed to !K7’s storied ‘DJ Kicks’ mix series, which he also curates.

Finally returning to the production fold himself with his first full-length album in thirteen years, ‘Open Too Close’ is a condensed trip through the influences, discovery and sense of history that have helped shape his career and drive a forward-facing, unblinking passion for new music. The record’s concept reflects Will’s enormous skill and knowledge as a DJ, and as it’s title suggests, “"represents what I play in a club if an 8 hour set was condensed into 10 tracks.”

Having held residencies and made regular appearances at some of the world’s finest clubs including The End and Fabric in London, Panorama Bar in Berlin, Trouw in Amsterdam and Robert Johnson in Offenbach, Saul is uniquely qualified but this refreshingly straightforward approach. Eschewing the lingering, almost cliched expectations for a dance artist to create an album “that sounds good at home, as well as in the club”, ‘Open Too Close’ instead draws on the timeless futurism at the heart of the music that drew Saul into electronic music culture. Simply put, futuristic, melancholic sci-fi soundscapes meets stripped back raw sample driven house music, all executed with the precision and panache of an artist who truly understands how to move a dancefloor.

Dixon Avenue Basement Jams feel extremely honoured and stupidly excited to finally be able to announce this! After his first three EPs on the label, the much talked about debut album from Glasgows Big Miz is ready to drop on Dixon Avenue Basement Jams! From start to finish Build/Destroy really showcases his effortless feel for the weird funk. From the tweaked out organ solos on "Hammond Groove" and the live bass jam of "Straight Thru Cru" to the straight up brain rattler of "Gear Tension". South America scene raises hands with this two tracker EP of Castelar Discos. From Uruguay to Argentina, Martin Teysera and Alan Castro deliver two serious dancefloor bombs in the third split of the argentinian label.

The second release of the relatively newborn, Berlin-based Italian label Autarchy Records offers yet another various artists release, as for the first output, the label gives light to Autre and D Roots - both producers are near to the label - and invites relevant figures of the scene to reinterpret the original tracks, specifically Hiver and Juju & Jordash.

AU002 starts with a banging tune by Autre, a slow crescendo that turns right into an emotional synth parade - Autre is a Berlin-based Italian house DJ/producer, who recently released on XDB's Metrolux. Dekmantel affiliates Juju & Jordash rethink the 'Prima' track, revisiting Autre's dreamy concept adding some industrial-ish elements.

A whole different scenario appears when you flip the record on the B-side. Deep house Italian rising talent D_Roots drops a nostalgic flavour with the house-oriented 'ASMR', anticipating a solid, colourful closure of the EP which see Hiver's rework of the track, a yardstick that rounds things off just to the beginning of the A-side.

Marking a milestone for their fledgling label, Adana Twins present the very first Various Artists compilation to be released on TAU. ‘Spektrum’ comprises eight fresh cuts from a diverse lineup of artists representing the Twins’ community of friends and musical acquaintances. In keeping with TAU’s ethos there are lesser-known talents side by side with more established exponents of the underground. The VA kicks off with the Adana Twins themselves, delivering the melodrama on a cut named ‘Jumanji’. The rhythm is simple yet deadly, with a juddering low end and spinetingling synth lines. The tension builds gently, until we reach a crescendo towards the end of the track. Innellea is next with ‘The Things We’ve Accomplished Together’, a dark cut underpinned by a dour atmosphere. The main riff feels familiar as it increases the pressure, rousing you into a state of ecstatic energy. Ede & John Falke take us into dark wave territory with their moody cut, which feels as though it’s come straight from eighties synth heaven. Next we take a trip into the humid canopies of the jungle with Santiago Garcia & Speaking In Tongues. ‘Lost In A Jungle’ features a myriad of exotic sounds, tribal rhythms and percussion straight out of the Amazon. Enchanting mysticism and wild allure make this one a very special cut indeed.
Track 5 is Mulya & Sobek’s ‘Upfront Venture’, a simmering journey into the depths. A modulated low end grumbles and snarls, increasing the tension alongside a dainty riff. Steadily building into a breakdown that will send shivers down your spine. This is followed by more tribal-inspired music, this time from Nenor & Eyal Rob who use indigenous vocal clips and organic-sounding drums to create a mesmerising composition on ‘Odehya Nbiya’. Luis Junior plays with our minds on ‘Tuning Instruments’, a playful motif forms the main body of this cut, which is twisted and warped during an epic breakdown, before we’re treated to a soothing bassline. Last up, German don Daniel Bortz takes us ‘Down To The Moon’ with an exquisite roller full of dreamy atmospherics and laid back vibes. A fitting finale to an excellent collection of music.

Lemmi Ash is a Swedish duo comprised of producers Samo and Martinou, and their debut EP with ESP Institute, 'Osmin Uratoma', has been a long time coming. Samo has been a friend of the family since prior to the institute’s inception — dropping in on us in NYC, occasionally as a guest DJ at The Stallions’ residency in Chinatown — and ever since those halcyon days in the late Noughties, we’ve been slowly circling a moving target, poking at his potential contribution to the label. It wasn’t until recently, when fellow Stockholm depth-charger Martinou stepped into the picture, that stars finally aligned and Lemmi Ash was born. Now a steadily growing lovechild, the collaboration displays a finely balanced ratio of the duo’s DNA, complimentary in both aesthetic and character. Across four seemingly disparate tracks, we can sense Samo’s penchant for Dub is subliminally leading the way — from minimal organ stabs and off-kilter hi-hats on the relentlessly pounding 'Apsu', to the hybrid-Dancehall rhythm box and hazy familiar vocal snippets on the late night stormer 'To Dare Is To Do' — while Martinou’s masterful brush is a bit more broad and subtle, shifting the shape of Lemmi’s arsenal into a deep and ethereal Techno head-space full of warm pads, softened percussion and sub bass on both the iconic 'Lemmie Ash Theme' and the EP’s melancholy closer, 'Horror Vacui'. The artists explain that this music was “made with birds in mind” — a somewhat poetic and abstract notion which (to us) symbolizes their stoned veil of indifference, a carefree fluidity of influences, and an ease of traversing stylistic positions — alluding to the rewards of an effortless and non-compulsory collaboration, a genuine creative simpatico.

After the first EP, that you must have heard in clubs across the world - Laconica is back with its second. As with the first one, this release is all about the three solid cuts, which are made especially for the dancefloors. The first track 'Who Gave You Dis' is a deep groove in tandem with whispering vocals and powerful drums. 'This for B' is a perfect minimalistic tool for after-hour sets. Last but not least, 'Lil' Souvenir' (B2) is revolving around the Chicago house feeling with some classic vocals in it.

London-based artist and label boss Rich NxT returns with remixes from Oscillat co-owner Malin Genie and Argy, who most recently released on Moscow Records.
Graduating onto its sixth release, NxT Records celebrates by looking back through its catalogue while serving up some new, refreshed cuts from two of Rich NxT’s favourite artists. Both have been given free rein to choose from the back catalogue and remix a track of their choosing. First up Malin Genie is on fine form effortlessly showing why he is one of the kings of groove, taking on ‘Attery‘ from NXT004 which was championed heavily last year by Jamie Jones. Genie’s free flowing rhythm takes percussive and bass elements, gliding and rising all the way through.
On the flip the incredibly versatile Argy remixes ‘Sauna De Plastico’ from NXT002, rightly identifying the old DC10 feel as a starting point for a modern reinterpretation, bringing his influential sounds from the time bang up to date. Finally Rich NxT’s original of ‘Sauna De Plastico‘ is also included after it’s sell out second release, giving a second chance at owning this on vinyl only.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Dekmantel's goings on in the world of events, festivals, and great music, the team behind the label have been releasing a record a month featuring some of their favourite artists, as part of a ten-year anniversary series collection. Featuring acts close to the label's collective, debuts, and legacy talents the crew have always wanted to sign, the series has seen the likes of Gigi Masin, Call Super, Fatima Yamaha, and more. This penultimate EP, sees Dekmantel debut releases by Lena Willikens, Space Dimension Controller, and Dutch lo-fi star Betonkust and Palmbomen, in addition to a special cut by Bufiman.The EP kicks off with a new track by Salon Des Amateurs resident Bufiman — real name Jan Schulte — who also goes by Wolf Müller. 'Hymn to the Moonface' ensures that percussion comes first and foremost, in this upbeat, prog-breaks, jaunty, summer cut following up on his Dekmantel debut "Peace Moves". Dutch duo Betonkust and Palmbomen release their first track on Dekmantel with 'Onrust Bij Tihange' - an ode to the Tihange Nuclear Power Station in Belgium. Specialists in crafting lo-fi, nostalgic sounds, Betonkust and Palmbomen do what they do best, with a pulsing, analog, nostalgic electro track that sounds as if its been fed through a VHS player, a top of recording of Miami Vice. What happened at Tihange through is another question. Belfast-producer Space Dimension Controller, a.k.a. Jack Hamill adds some galactic, space-flare, mid-tempo, D-funk to the flip side. With a debut EP dropping on Dekmantel soon, SDC contributes one of his most beautiful compositions to date, highlighting his flair for melody, blending it astutely together with rich techno hat and snare combos. Concluding the record, is Dekmantel favourite, Lena Willikens. After so many appearances across so many of Dekmantel festivals, it's a pleasure to have the astute selector release a rare production on the label. Willikens' dark wavey cut is something one would expect to hear in one of her sets, sounding like a modern take of a long-forgotten, and unknown krautrock band.

Richard Burkinshaw & James Rial aka Audiojack's standing in electronic music speaks for itself, the pair have been heavily involved since around 2006 and have made quite the impact with releases for 2020Vision, Leftroom, Get Physical and of course their own Gruuv label where they return to here.

Over the past year Gruuv has unearthed material from some of the most promising young talents in the industry, such as Dale Howard, A1 Bassline, Copy Paste Soul and Coat Of Arms, a telling sign of the attentive nature and acute A&R skills of the brains behind the imprint.

Here we see Audiojack offer up some fresh original material, the first of which is title track 'Machine Code', the duo employ a production technique used in their critically acclaimed 2006 hit 'Robot' here, wherein every sound is generated by channeling the rhythmic elements through the same delay. The result is a gritty dancefloor focused cut, fuelled by glitchy effects, vigorous drum lines and baroque structural changes. Up next on the original material is 'Indigo', seeing the pair opt for a more refined, progressive groove this time, playing on vacillating background atmospherics, organic percussion and infectious bass licks.

On the flip side of the single we see two remixes offered up, the first of which is Paul C & Paolo Martini's interpretation of 'Machine Code'. The Italian duo turn in their signature up-tempo vibe with the mix, extracting snippets from the fray of the original and reshaping it into a bouncy and vibrant workout.

Man of the moment Alexis Raphael then closes the single with his remix of 'Indigo', the Hot Creations / Jackathon Jams artist reworks the original track into a dynamic, groove-led number with gritty 909 rhythms and dubby resonant synth stabs driving the composition.

Soul Of Hex's Vicario Musique is making a comeback in 2018, with Cedillo's most personal EP to date. The main track ''Tetro'' is a futurist, simple but effective track dragging influences of the highest order on Chicago, Berlin and Detroit. ''Shadow Aspect'' moves into a darker perspective combining analog and modular synthesis and clever drum breaks. On the bright side of the EP, ''Sun Compass'' a collaboration with his brother Anttares is reminiscent of a Paradise/balearic inspired track showing Cedillo brothers versatile style. To finish the EP, the melancholic ''There are no words'' is a dedication to the memory of Cedillo's grandfather. Tetro has been already being championed live on Soul Of Hex's Live Boiler Room session, and at Tim Sweeney's Beats in Space Mix by Zombies in Miami.

Captn K shakes his fist at the sky and gets old school with his 909 and trusty bass synth to let it all out. A rant filled bad-ass-belter that cranks you up and kicks out the bad vibes. It's funny but relatable. It's simple but it's big! Included is a dub version for the club when you want the wriggle without the rant.

On the flip we got Tonite We Flying, a sexy piano driven builder that launches into a vocal filled disco/house track. Amazing husky vocals from Captn k's mate, Britt Bro tell the story of a night out and the desire to be free. Chugging piano n bass, juicy synth swells n sweeps and funky percussion get jiggy with their long time pals, 909 kicks n claps! Together it creates an uplifting energy filled anthem that makes you want to soar into the night!

‘Approaching Skopje’ is a tunnelling slice of techno, landing with enough bass weight to drive a wormhole through any heaving rave, coupled with layers of trippy electronic textures that blend inherent heaviness with sheer hypnosis.

On the contrary, ‘Quantum Hypnosis’ sees an instantaneous swung-groove gradually blossom into a weightless electronic lullaby, wrapped in fluttering modulations and a sense of shimmering intrigue.

Finally, ‘Roots‘ builds a bridge between both tracks and bodies and minds beside; a loose breakbeat flirts a circling analogue signal, demonstrating the duo’s subtle craftsmanship at it’s most psychedelic and soaring.

Dusky are back with a new EP as we move towards the back end of summer. Following up on the massive release that was Life Signs Vol. 1 on Gerd Janson's Running Back Records, the duo now return to their own imprint, 17 Steps. The 'Imagine What' EP is their first 17 Steps release since the Aset Forever EP at the end of 2018 and marks the 25th release on the label. In their own words - "Imagine What is a personal journey through shimmering melodies, proto-rave vocals and shuffling drums, arriving at a deep, eyes-closed peak. L.I. takes classic electronica as it’s main inspiration, along with the deeper side of D&B. NYC collective Sheik 'N' Beik continue to bolster their catalogue and add to a slew of cosmic cuts from Xamiga, Derek Marin, Voiski and Peter Corvaia with the next installment coming courtesy of NYC newcomer Jeffrey Scott.

Having been a mainstay at the Sheik 'N' Beik parties across NYC and Ibiza, Jeffrey Scott is a long term friend of the team. He is an artist who has patiently cultivated a methodical yet free-flowing form of production that melds live instrumentation, warped and celestial synthesis with a healthy sprinkling of oddity that lends him perfectly to a release with Sheik 'N' Beik.

This - his debut 12' - is built predominantly with Hardware, Software and modular gear and kicks off with 'Under Aqua' that drives flat, whetted kicks through flexing metallic tones and pellucid clicks and snaps. Distant, reverberated signals are gently pushed in and out of the mix as additive percussion pushes momentum forwards. Panned and mangled spoken word hops between languages which, alongside a soft and rueful chord change builds a striking soft / hard contrast.

Allegorical in its progression, 'Down To Art' then opens up with layered Boards Of Canada-esque synth tones sat atop a buoyant pulse. Passages of twisted spoken word and clever sound design builds disquieting tension that never quite boils over whilst keeping the listener pinned throughout.

'Drum Morphing' then sets sheets of glacial synth tones atop clipped analogue drums. Patient and natural in it's progression, it slowly renders the moon's landscape and closes with playful use of delay, pitch bending and panning that caps off an impressive and daring debut from Scott and another fine addition to the Sheik 'N' Beik series.

The Mexico City native doesn't submit to the boundaries and limitations of genre to frame his musical identity. This ability inspires the conquering of differing styles of music without hesitation. The result is a pervasive sonic ngerprint evident in any of his creations. White Visitation begins with Maintain, a heavier-leaning track which evades abrasiveness while
remaining vigorous. The track, previously released on cassette, seems to smother a melancholic feeling desperately yearning for escape. CYEADOS is a ballad of distant war horns crying out in longing. It peaks with a barrage of brutalist ride cymbals which both pummel and soothe. Take it Again is an exercise in elegance and elation. White Visitation consummates an
atmosphere of sweetness without sacricing an ounce of depth. He balances layer upon layer until what stands is a house of cards constructed to resist the ever intrusive winds of monotony.

PBR Streetgang return to their newly launched KURTZ imprint this October to deliver ‘Acid Tools’, accompanied by Wilde Renate residents Longhair on remix duties.

Founded in Leeds but now found touring the international scene week in, week out, Bonar Bradberry and Tom Thorpe, aka PBR Streetgang, have cemented their position as leading names within the current house and disco landscape via a slew of stand-out releases on imprints such as Skint, Crosstown Rebels and Futureboogie, plus appearances in 2019 alone at Glastonbury, Love International, Printworks and a summer residency at Pikes Ibiza to name just a few. Launched earlier this year, their new KURTZ imprint quickly found favour amongst a who’s who of the industry’s leading names, from Andrew Weatherall to Bicep, Hot Chip to Soul Clap, and here we see the duo step out again on home turf to deliver the second instalment as they reveal their Acid Tools’ EP, featuring three versions of the up-front ‘Ron’ - each of which have been doing damage in their sets across the summer months - backed by a remix from Wilde Renate residents Longhair.

Up first and delivering the ‘Full Fat’, version one sees Bradberry and Thorpe introduce punchy analogue percussion arrangements in tandem with a chunky, menacing acid line at the production’s core, whilst infectious vocal samples and hooks ebb in and out of the mix to guide the production as it chugs along, whilst the ‘Half Fat’ mix strips back the vocals to reveal a driving and warping journey across six-and-a-half minutes. The always on-point and culturally significant Tuskegee Music is back with more essential music, this time from venerated American producer D’Marc Cantu. Over the course of a distinguished career, Cantu has contributed to everything from jackbeat to acid, house to techno on labels like Creme Organisation and Les Disques De La Mort. Always serving up raw-edged, uncompromising sounds, he does so again here on another standout EP. Opener ‘Beat The Move’ is an urgent, high tech piece of slick and supple acid house with 303 undulations, dark vocal loops and the sort of hammering drums that get the club locked right in.
The sublime ‘In The Forest’ is a tripped out bit of restless electro with skittish hits and rueful pads that gets right to your heart. Last of all is the militant, marching ‘A Narrow Connection’ which closes things out with crisp kicks and scintillating sheet metal drums that straighten your back and get you stomping.
These are utilitarian yet wonderfully unique club tracks from a real master of the form.

Manifested in Berlin‘s iconic club scene, Michal Zietara and Oskar Szafraniec quickly developed a friendship through their mutual passion for all things in electronic music.

After several b2b DJ sets across Berlin and Poland came about a time to put two musically talented heads together and work in the studio.

This first and not last EP from the newly formed
Loser Records in Berlin is a modern reconfiguration of minimal inspired voice of stripped back house music. A spiritual and bracing energy of active percussion throug- hout, ties in the „less is more“ repertoire without the clichés and all the originality.

London based label and party Butter Side Up follow-up a sold out debut release from Christian Jay with another helping of atmospheric house music, this time from Leeds based rising star Midge Thompson. The long time BSU associate serves up three tracks that are complemented with a rare remix from the legendary Titonton Duvante.

Opener 'Destination 2242' is a slick and spaced out broken beat groover. Sci-fi motifs wither next to a sprinkling of garage percussion and rubbery drum programming is brilliantly loose and body popping. 'Delta' gets even deeper, with skeletal drums knocking out an infectious late-night rhythm while dreamy pads flesh things out. Spacecrafts drift in the background to add some cinematic stylings and make it perfect for the more close-knit dance floors.

On the flip, 'Beeston Lights' picks up the pace with perfectly rolling kicks pulling you in as keys twinkle up top like a distant metropolis at night. It's smooth and breezy house music to carry you away on a blissful vibe. Remixing is Titonton Duvante, a long time influence on the Butter Side Up crew and a cult figure in heady house circles thanks to definitive work on his own Residual Recordings, Mosaic and many others. His chunky take on techno is hard to beat, as proven here with a remix that re-works the drums into busy, restless things that work the feet while the Americans's typically ethereal pads bring real depth.

Hell’s Club has been on my want list on Discogs for years and that prohibitive price really left me no choice but to reissue the damn thing. I have played it every single set since I got the new masters back and it is so effective at getting a crowd moving. Tech house at its absolute best.

Volume 2 brings in the four members who have remained at the core of FUSE history; Rich Nxt, Seb Zito, Rossko and Archie Hamilton, each collaborating with Enzo to create seven straight-talking dance floor cuts that have fuelled FUSE parties, capturing the essence and development of the “FUSE sound” over the last decade. This is the first time FUSE fans will see all five work together on one release and is a testament to the watertight friendships they have built. Rich Nxt and Seb Zito were by Enzo’s side at the very first FUSE party back in 2008, while Rossko and Archie Hamilton climbed the ranks up to the booth from the dance floor, starting as fanatic weekly ravers of the party.
Enzo and Rich Nxt set the tone for the batch of euphonic collaborations that follow, starting with ‘See you In Ten’ and the straight up grooves of ‘Enriched’. Rossko cuts in second to bring us the engagingly propulsive ‘Dreamers’. Archie Hamilton takes a deeper direction with ‘Aviva’ and ‘Direct Line’. Finally, Seb Zito kicks the gear back up weaving garage influenced elements into ‘What’s Going On’ and closing with low slung ‘What’s Happening’. All tracks testifying to each resident’s deftness in creating atmospheric gems with the mastermind behind FUSE.
