House Vinyl New Releases - News

THE NEXT INSTALLEMT IN THE SERIES OF MIDNIGHT RIOT 12' EP'S returns once more with a mighty line-up of productions from around the globe, taking you high,

then real slow with late night cuts, filtered boogie & deep electronic vibes.

EX-FRIENDLY is a DJ, producer and vocalist who channels his respect for the music makers whose contributions laid early groundwork for genres from soul, to R&B, funk and house

in his original compositions and edit work. 'Love Is Not Lost' truly is a bonafide Midnight Riot anthem.

PEZA is a producer, remix artist DJ, who has been making music for a long time, including releases with Cleveland City, Fantasia, Distance records, to name but a few. After a few years time out in the name of 'pro-creation', he is now back in the studio and out DJ'ing re-igniting the creative juices, and 'Do You Have Any' is the end result AND PICKED UP FOR THE NEW 'HORSE MEAT DISCO ' COMPILATION VOL 4 ON STRUT.

From Melbourne, INKSWEL maker of modern soulful beat music teams up with SUZI ANALOGUE on 'Like That'. One for the B-Boys & Girls, somehow slightly retro yet still sounding firmly futuristic. Although new to MIDNIGHT RIOT he is already an accomplished production force releasing tracks on Firecracker, Dopeness Galore, BoogieBash, & Hot Shot Sounds.

PANORAMA aka Rocco Desentis / Neon Rider, both of whom who have already been highly prolific on Electrique Music, go right out on the 80's down low with 'Don't You Know That'.

12records is here to introduce the 2nd album by Deep88, aka Alessandro Pasini.
This album is a collection of Removing Dust EP vol 1 +2 (available separately).
After some 12 inches released on vinyl only it felt right to collect some of the best songs released together with the brand new material and create an organic album, Supporting the album with a live setup (No laptop is involved).
Self made artist, up since 2004 with different projects, Deep88 decided to start his own label in 2011 in order to release his music with no care or attitude to trend or fashion sound, developing his own style, spacing house music from classic deep to extreme raw sample based, collecting historic music gears and hardware during the years and mixing them together with other new digital toys.
The result is an album where you can find some cheesy balearic songs together with some inner raw tracks, due to his eclectic attitude. It's all about the way he decides to create music, it can be either using just an old sampler and a turntable or using some analogue and digital synths and a computer or just mix these 2 points of view together.

Jimpster's These Times proved to be a successful release, garnering love and support from right across the board. B side track Can't Stop Loving sits proudly at
No.12 in RA's top 50 tracks for October whilst These Times got airings on Amé's Boiler Room set alongside support from the likes of Mano Le Tough, Bicep and
Roman Flu¨gel. Dixon is also a fan declaring that he wished he'd signed it for Innervisions and offering to do a re-edit.
Here we're very proud to present the fruits of his labour, as well as a stunning remix from Manuel Tur. Dixon keeps the original vibe intact but reduces the groove perfectly and extends the arrangement for a deep, epic vocal version aimed
squarely at the dancefloor. Manuel goes into the abyss with a darker, hypnotic feeling, pushing Jinadu's vocals to the fore and working up a stripped back groove punctuated with ring modulated chime FX.

LTD 300 Copies Pressing, so only 1Copie each Customer !!

Its his first album in 3 years and to a certain extent marks a change in direction from the predecessors, 'Working Nights' & 'In The Red'.
'Treat Me Right' follows an esteemed remix series of Trus'me classic tracks with treatments from Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Terrence Dixon, DVS1, Ryan Elliott & Vakula.
Here's what the man himself has to say as way of an introduction to the new album.
"Since 'In The Red' I found myself traveling as far as Japan and South America and experiencing new scenes and people that have influenced my sound both in the studio and behind the decks. Reaching 30 changes your perspective on life, so when visiting these strange but intriguing countries I have taken the time to stay for a while and take it all in. Airport-Hotel-Club and sometimes straight to the Airport can take its toll on you.
Travelling so much has forced me to change my way of making music, I would say now I have a more 'anoligital' approach to my production techniques. The final production stage will always remain an analogue process but the creative process has become more digital. You can't take all those lovely synths and machines on the road with you. The Laptop is always there where inspiration hits you whether it be on the plane or hours after you're finished in a club.
With 'Working Nights' I wanted to create a cohesive hour of music from start to finish, whereas 'In The Red' was a way to push myself and learn new engineering and production techniques, working with live musicians such as Amp Fiddler and Dam Funk. 'Treat Me Right' saw me move into the realm of synths, drum machines to create the sounds of the scene I had been submerged in over the last 4-5 years. Working on new music while on the road is hard, and fragmented sessions all came together once I was stationary in Manchester. The weather surely helps this, it's much easier to be influenced and complete an idea when the sun is not shining outside. I stayed away from the impulse of my love of sampling and musicianship and trapped myself in a room, so that the final outcome would be a true representation on the sound they call analogue."

Vester Koza will release his self titled EP on his new imprint Maslo early 2013. The release features four tracks that brought him to the attention of Workshop's Even Tuell and Lowtec, Ben Ufo, XDB, Madteo, Jane Fitz and Mitsuaki Komamura with a batch of demo recordings that circulated late last year. Comprised of four selected tracks written over a twelve month period in his East London studio, this debut EP is the first of a planned series on the label to be released this year.
The works have been mastered by Helmut Erler at Dubplates and Mastering Berlin.

Seaghdha have made a significant dent in the stripped down warehouse music world with the first two releases in their Celtic numerals series
A TRI continues the theme perfectly, offering up three more precision workouts for dark spaces
Pared down, atmospheric and totally absorbing grooves throughout !
Each release will be strictly limited to 300 - Vinyl only
The series will run to ten releases in total, titled 1-10 in Gaelic

WT Records makes another turn. This time aiming back at the dj. A beautiful and functional 3 part vinyl dj series: DJ Muscle.. No posers!!
3 records with 3 catalog numbers. Each part has a full color jacket & label art by Marion Guillet. The series starts with slow mo freaked out dance music from Serbia and moves on to space disco, freaked out emotional outsider house, and all the way back to wild African influenced electro dance beat. Hand picked by label head and music lover, Dj Speculator aka Willie Burns, the 3 part series will be a solid addition to any djs record bag and good enough to satisfy the collector as well.

Downtown Party Network from Lithuania have been behind some serious releases and remixes over the last few years
Combining Disco influences with a knack for crafting weighty and warm deep House of the highest order...
For their IIB debut they've produced a duo of dreamy, melodic and irresistable Vocal House gems which stand tall in their own right
As ever, the IIB team have drafted in some seriously heavyweight remixers
Veteran UK producer Richard Norris AKA THE TIME & SPACE MACHINE has delivered a truly superb rework of 'The Returning'
Bringing the live elements of the track to the fore and unleashing a dazzling ' eyes closed on the dancefloor' moment, and a bit of a classic in our humble opinion !
Finally Scandanavian Disco legend PRINS THOMAS takes on the same track and transforms it into an epic, spacious mix, underpinned by a widescreen Acid bass
and relentless, building groove

Human Nature is the new offering from Mark Gilbert of Stupid Human edit notoriety, this label will be concentrating his artistic musical endeavours of the eclectic kind and it doesn't fail to disappoint, first up is "Turn Me On" a rich tapestry of brooding synths that captures and draws you into world of lust and sexual wonderment. Over on the flip is "Searching" a beautiful deep sunshine groove with killer jazzy chords and boogie synth bass impressive stuff indeed.

RON TRENT with ROBERT OWENS, the one and only, inimitable voice of Chicagohouse music (FINGERS INC) paying tribute to the MUSIC BOX's legendaryRON HARDY. House music history on wax right here. Includes the main vocalmix and a dub of the song "DEEP DOWN". (FUTURE VISION)

Local Talk is proud to present yet another new and exciting producer John Mood. The title track on his debut takes us back to New Jersey where our buddy Fulbert jams together with Kerry Chandler, building a track based around a tight groove made up of a luscious chords, a deep baseline and a tight rhythm cutting.
Dial #903 starts off with deep chords and a smooth bassline but don't let that fool you! The track shifts and turns into something you'd find on an early Underground Resistance release, moving and shifting with a heavy flow. Finally, the Kontra Remix of A Basement Romance keeps the original tracks identity intact and skilfully churns out a pure dancfYloor monster using parts of the original to create a powerful track from start to finish.

NEW MCDE alert! Awesome gospel inspired 4 Track House 12" from THE brother from another...Motor City! TIP!
the label say " It was in 2011 when Danilo Plessow aka Motor City Drum Ensemble released his DJ-Kicks compilation to a stoked crowd, showing an unusual amount of wisdom for a producer that young. Now, he returns to his best-known moniker - having been on hold since that exciting remix for Midland's "What We Know" in early 2012 - with another reboot of sorts: choosing his own MCDE imprint as stage for the new record, Danilo directly confronts the legacy of his insanely loved "Raw Cuts" that brought the bounce back to Deep House, injecting a blueprint grown stale with much-needed emotions and rejuvenating DJ crates worldwide.

It is surprising, then, that the latest entry in the series is only the tenth release in a discography seemingly consisting only of classics, but as MCDE's A&R, Danilo & his partner Pablo Valentino (FACES Records / Creative Swing Alliance) intentionally kept the young label's artist roster small, focussing on quality output instead and giving the sound room to breathe.

While there are plenty of successful House templates floating around, none defined its roots in sampling as thoroughly as MCDE & Raw Cuts did, and it's happening again with these four impressive workouts condensing all we love about the genre, resulting in a show-stopping record sure to set even the most distinguished floors on fire. 2013 should consider itself a lucky year, because Motor City Drum Ensemble is back in the producer's seat and that's a very good thing."

Available on very limited hand stamped 180gram
vinyl. The result of a creative coming-together of
two very different producers, Breach and Dark Sky
present the somewhat unexpected sounding 'The
Click' on Naked Naked. As the fourth EP from the
imprint, which has seen the release of label boss
Breach's 'You Won't Find Love Again' and Breach
and Midland's collaborative '101 & Somewhere EP'
previously, 'The Click' continues to champion UK
sounds in line with the London imprint's aesthetic.
Long term admirers of each other's work, 'The Click'
originated after Ben Westbeech invited the Dark
Sky trio to work on his forthcoming album. With four
creative brains in the studio eager to showcase their
sound and a variety of production techniques to
match Westbeech's hardware-laden workspace, it
soon became clear that the results were feeling
more suited to his Breach project. And so, NKD004
was born.
Title track 'The Click' draws you into some seriously
dark house production with a clanging, muted
heartbeat introduction. The first vocal soon gives
way to an addictive, yet ominous, groove where
distant hisses, unsettling chatters and swarming
flies create an altogether disconcerting dance
floor....

After the success of their debut album 'Mind Over Matter' released on Crosstown Rebels earlier this year, Venezuelan duo Fur Coat return with 'Fall's Away'; one of the biggest cuts from the album which features the lush vocals of Mel Blatt and a killer pair of remixes from DJ Sneak and Just Be.
Deep warm pads, filtered toms and vocal chops open things up on the original version of Fall's Away and after the introduction of a groove inflected kick and bass combo it becomes apparent that this one is going to be taking complete control of the dance floor. This notion is accentuated even more once Blatt's soulful contribution enters the foray with its lyrical and vocal excellence.
On somewhat of a resurgence at present, house legend DJ Sneak does what he has done for the last 20 years and delivers a slice of up front house music straight out of the Chi-town text book. Fat kicks, swinging highs and a deep and driving low end are all in attendance, whilst vocal stabs and swirling samples lead to several hypnotizing climaxes. Clubbers beware: this one is relentless.
Just Be aka Bushwacka steps up for the final remix offering and stays closer to the original whilst bringing an otherworldly vibe to the party, with eerie synth melodies and cosmic sweeps taking centre stage. An infectious builder, the track picks up some serious steam throughout and is sure to have dance floors shifting by the end.

Going Good Records are proud to present their debut vinyl release the "Entropic Feelings EP", A dusted 6 track EP of analogue DIY House jams recorded deep in Atlanta GA by the mysterious Moon B, A bonafide hardware freak & $1 bin record digger par excellence. Moon has privately released 1 cassette album previously full of more grainy, Lo-Fi goodness which will see a vinyl release before the end of this year courtesy of Washington DC's dope People's Potential Unlimited label (PPU). Sometimes Moon's music makes you want to get on the floor & slam-dance, lost in the fog & strobes while other times it sounds like your box is chewing up your tape mid trip while keeping the beat. Both outcomes we find extremely rewarding but we'll let you judge for yourself.

Anton Kubikov, for more than a decade well known as half of SCSI-9, delivers with his solo debut a killer twelve inch for Pro-Tez Records. Limited to 300 copies, it is a reduced 4/4 dub vapored Ep that unfolds into a blissed out session and sounds like a cross between Chain Reaction's Fluxion and Rhythm and Sound's more bass-heavy emissions. Dub Techno heads listen up!

The first in an ongoing series of collaborations focusing on live improvised hardware based jams comes to us from bookworms and steve summers. 3 raw whirlpool techno / house tracks

Prague's Visky Recordings continues to present to you high quality music from its fellow producers, this time from the Essen based and highly with
talent gifted producer Kai von Glasow. You might know him from his past releases on Terpsiton or Mild Pitch. The Solid Roots EP features three deep
and diverse tracks including the interpretation of Solid Angle by the Moscow's hero Anton Zap. Play it loud!

Super strong M>O>S DEEP from this studio master! He's really killing it.... this one really shook the ADE crowd when Aroy Dee slammed it in his set there... Big ITALO style JAK trax...! TIP!
In the last 12 months, Marco Antonio Spaventi has produced alongside James Priestley on Secretsundaze as well as with Aroy Dee on MOS, and here he returns to said deeper than deep label with two tracks all of his own entitled 'The Jungle' and 'Insanity'.

After the success of Chubby Dubz Vol.1 in January 2012 closely followed by Vol.2 in May 2012, Chubby Dubz aka Oliver $ and Gene Siewing are back with the third instalment on loungin'.
After a chart topping year in 2011 where Oliver $'s - Doin' Ya Thang track on Jesse Rose's Play It Down label was No.1 charted track on Beatport 2011 plus was No.1 charted track of all time on Resident Advisor, we were over the moon when Gene & Oliver chose loungin' recordings as the home for the Chubby Dubz album project.
Chubby Dubz background and origins combine all manors of influences, as Oliver is native to Germany and Gene to the US. With this chemistry comes a fusion of minds that produces great house music with enough musical soul to have real longevity whilst still keeping the dance floors moving in the best clubs throughout the world. With releases on labels such as Om Records, Appeal Music and Undertones their unique style of house is enjoying great success throughout the world as all the major heads in house music are revelling in deep house currently. The result of this is that the music of Chubby Dubz is being widely championed by everyone from Ricardo Vilalobos, Baby Ford, DJ Rolando and Doc Martin to name a few.

Terrific house EP from the B-Tracks other half - moody, soulful, raw, catchy, bumping and elastic.

We're super stoked to have this killer EP out on Local Talk as we've been big fans of both C.R.S.T. and Chesus productions for good while now.
As these guys are down with both house music and the UK Garage scene we get served an EP that combines the best of both styles. The result is a jacked up house release that would work equally well at the classic New Jersey Zanzibar club or in your dirty London basement club. The first three tracks (Monster Munch, Newark and Life) takes us on a deep and jackin' house trip with a bouncy garage twist.
But to stir things up a lil' extra the last track (Special) goes all disco with some soulful philly samples...perfect for the Southport Weekender crews!

Tom Trago's Voyage Direct series welcomes another new Amsterdam artist to its roster. This time it is the up and coming MPC lord Overlast, who debuts on the label with a killer two tracker!
With this single Overlast is coming to a zone of his own. 'Alien' is a smooth, yet weirdly alienating house jam that hits hard. 'Range Rover' must be the next car anthem, especially for those who drive one (and have a loud sound system). A shexy, half time bass banger that takes it to the next level. Amazing stuff!

With a bit of delay, Delroy Edwards comes in hitting hard with this 2 track piece of vinyl ! - LTD
