Snakepiss is a Detroit, MI electronic producer. "Arson" features downtuned choral voices, four-on-the-floor rhythms and ambient soundscapes dragged through dirty alleyways. Frantic energy bubbles over on lead single "Set Fire To The Living," while "King" and "Wind/Water" return to Snakepiss' signature sound of dark ambient creep hop. Arson is both a reaction and a rejection to the dark emotional palette from Snakepiss's first EP, Toil. Arson is about taking your feelings you've confined and swallowed - the miserable dread of wandering - and burning it to the ground. "These are not my limitations. I reject this way of life."

Having featured international house heavyweights Kez YM and Andres on their previous release it's no surprise that the 'Late Night Blue Sound' EP was a monumental success with demand outweighing supply and a repress sought. However, as at the forefront of the house revival City Fly continue their quest in discovering and nurturing hidden house talent...
So for their seventh release City Fly are proud to present Bartellow aka Benedikt Brachtel. Hailing from Munich, Benedikt was educated in classical composition and has worked as a film soundtrack producer. Having found a kindred spirit in the form of fellow Munich-based producer Amos, the duo formed successful avant-garde electronic pop act 'Columbus' awash with analog synth stylings, infectious pop melodies and neo-futurism.
However, it's under his 'Bartellow' alias which has seen him gain further recognition as a visionary virtuoso. Initially appearing on Michel Baumann's (Soulphiction) revered Philpot label with partner in crime Roman Rauch, he has since gained the attention of influential tastemakers such as Gilles Peterson and Rainer Truby with his 'The Bartellow Thrill' EP. Last year proved just as productive too with a release on City Fly favourite Red Rack 'Em's 'Smuggler's Inn' imprint, a remix for Philly marvel King Britt and two releases on his own conceptual 'SVS Records' featuring the cream of Munich's mercurial production wunderkids .
Always on the lookout to showcase those left in the shadows, it looks like City Fly have unearthed another raw diamond in the form of Bartellow...

HUMMING BIRDS

Kicking off the EP is the title track 'Hummingbirds'. Starting off with stuttering hi-hats skipping over a kick-drum a la Theo, it's not long before synths and a bouncy, syncopated bassline drop in to add more depth. A dusty de rigeur male soul vox singing 'hummingbirds' then glides in, hovering over the bass and juxtaposing against the building complex instrumentation effortlessly. Add to this an arresting, ethereal breakdown with a dream-like yearning female larynx and you have all the ingredients for an inimitable style and distinctive flavour that's synonymous with Bartellow's productions - definitely one to take the dancefloor in a different direction...

HUMMING BIRDS (UGLY DRUMS ACID DUB)

Having been on their radar for some time, City Fly have finally snared producer du jour Ugly Drums to contribute to the label with a remix. The cologne native's inimitable production style has seen him appear on a diverse array of prestigious house labels such as Rush Hour, Freerange, Kolour, Black Key, and Fifty Fathoms Deep - not to mention his debut 'Saturn Memories' LP on the discernible Quintessentials imprint - and with an upcoming guest spot at City Fly's renowned club night, it was only a matter of time and natural progression that he would feature on their next release. On to the remix and as the title implies, Ugly Drums adds some Chi-town flavour in giving some acid-induced indigestion complete with 303 squelches, handclaps and cowbell that wouldn't sound outta place on an old, battered Trax record. Add some eerie synths and warbling vocal and you've got a typically idiosyncratic take on house that only Ugly Drums can concoct - from Cologne via Chicago...

RAW MATERIA

Commencing with a heavy, thumping bass and jittery hi-hats, as the title 'Raw Materia' suggests one begins to feel that the track is of a more basic, rawer ilk. However it's not long before warm, swirling synths interject adding a dose of more depth and dimension - intertwining effortlessly against the raw elements. Relentlessly building, the track culminates into an arresting crescendo with the synths going into overdrive and infiltrating the uncompromising bass. Like on this occasion sometimes less is more - time to get back to the raw...

RAW MATERIAL (FRED P RESHAPE)

Not content with just one remix, City Fly have enlisted the transatlantic touch of deep house deity Fred P to add further gravitas to the EP. Though a veteran of the scene, it wasn't until he started releasing tracks on his Soul People imprint under his 'Black Jazz Consortium' alias that heads took notice with his deep and transcendent productions. Along with fellow New York Natives such as Levon Vincent, DJ Qu, Joey Anderson and Anthony Parasole, he was a major player in helping revitalise the NY house scene and has since released on esteemed labels such as Undergound Quality, Strength Music, Esperanza, Mule Electronic, Finale Sessions and The Corner - also remixing the likes of peers such as Nina Kraviz, DJ Qu, Basic Soul Unit and Lady Blaktronica. With this particular reshape it's another soul-charged ethereal excursion full of depth and emotion - one to submerge the dancers into a dream state...

After the great release from label owner "Samann", Traxx Underground is proud to serve you a name that all of you will know for sure "NY's Finest" a guy from New York who did many releases in the 90's with different alias (Victor Simonelli, Cloud 9, Groove Committee ect) one track among the strongest "Do You Feel Me". Back now after 20 years with these three sensational tracks!

Die Roh are the legendary dj Octopus (Enlightened Wax/Hypercolour) and the mighty Sagat (boss of Noho Records). For the fourth release of Muscle Records they have hosted in the Brenta Studios a southern talented musician known as Okee Ru (Enetrbt/ Deependence). The fruit of their occasional encounters are 3 craggy dancefloor cuts of disco infected technoid shuffled 808 beats and quirky samples; together they have blended old-school uncouthness with modern lechery. Their dissolute country fellow Lucretio (Restoration/Machines State) has delivered a methane-fuelled remix of "Non è la Rai", adding illicit 90s happiness to the original beats. A remix that could easily cross-refer to his hard-to-find tunes on Warm Sounds..

One of the UK's most established and consistent deep house producers, Jimpster, is due to drop his eagerly anticipated Porchlight And Rocking Chairs LP on 20th May 2013. His first studio album in six years sees him continue where he left off on the 2006 masterpiece Amour by taking the blueprint of House music and infusing it with an attention to detail and musicality often lacking in much of today's more disposable dance music.
As Jimpster himself admits, much of the inspiration for Porchlight And Rocking Chairs came from the countless hours spent exhausted or hungover in airport lounges on the way back from gigs. It's during this early morning never never land that he would seek solace in his ipod or start creating tracks on his laptop. Anything too challenging or abstract would be an irritation. Anything too ambient could sedate to the point of missing flights. So normally it would be the kind of lo-slung, emotive, deep shit with enough groove to get into but also just the right amount of warmth and soul to keep spirits lifted in those tiring, and often solitary hours.
On returning to his studio we see Jimpster lean heavily on his hardware synths and drum machines, rediscovering their quirks and foibles after too many years working with convenient but sometimes sterile plugins. This hands on approach runs right through tracks such as Brought To Bare, featuring the vocals of Jonatan Bäckelie, where a simple, sparse and honest quality help make this one of the LP's highlights. Hold My Hand or Rollergirl show off Jimpster's innate talent for dubbed out, late-night deep house whilst elsewhere we find more raw and bass heavy downtempo tracks such as Cracks In the Pavement and The Glowing Embers. A true journey from start to finish, the LP draws to a close with an alternate LP version of Jimpster's recent single These Times featuring Beauty Room vocalist Jinadu. Here we see the producer incorporating acoustic guitar for the first time ever on a glitchy yet beautiful reworking of this future classic, making a fitting close to a fresh and forward-looking album from a long-standing yet still completely relevant artist.

After her incredible Changes EP on Crosstown Rebels earlier this year, new lady of house Francesca Lombardo continues to impress this time through the Rebellion arm of the enterprise with her Eyes of Nature EP.
'Eyes' is first up and opens with a slick percussive grove characterised by lots of organic elements coalescing to paint a mesmerising, ritualistic picture. Bells, shakers and cymbals rattle and echo while deep haunting synths climb and fall to create a real sense of drama. Francesca utilises her vocal training to devastating effect intermittently throughout the track, panning her own heavily FX'd vocals across the mix further adding to the suspense.
On the flip and Julien Riachi's vocal and a tabla drum riff set the tone on 'Wander and Wonder' before an ever returning woodblock melody signals the arrival of a killer baseline which takes the track straight to the dance floor. Exquisite production skills ensure that sonically and elementally the track is constantly going somewhere, whilst Lombardo's classically trained ear ensures that she can effortlessly make perfect musical sense of all the different parts within her tracks.

After a successful launch with tracks from Citizen and Ejeca, Loft Records returns with its
second single this March, entitled 'Ghana' by Dorsia, and backed with reworks from HNNY, Jay Shepheard and Roberto Rodriguez.
Dorsia is the collaborative guise of British duo Adam Reid and Andy Watson, both artists have been producing individually for quite some time, but have now joined forces and are set to release their debut single via Loft Records here. The pair create melodic, understated electronic music tipped towards the dance floor. Although newcomers under this title, working with such a promising young label and following the footsteps of Ejeca and Citizen, Dorsia are certainly ones to watch in 2014.
The original mix of 'Ghana' opens the single, a gritty, low-slung house number driven by raw analogue bass, crunchy rhythms, smoothly programmed reverb soaked vocal lines and tension building atmospherics to kick off the package in style. Let's Play House / Local Talk artist HNNY steps in first on remix duties next, reshaping the vibe entirely to generate a stunningly contrasting interpretation. The Swedish producer opts for ever-evolving saw wave bass, rugged drums, meandering melodies and a subtly blossoming dynamism to create a truly classy rework.
Then on the latter half of the 12'' we have two additional remixes of 'Ghana', first up is the ever onpoint Compost artist Jay Shepheard, who turns in a dubbed out house reshape, fuelled by stabbing bass hits, tension building strings and swirling echoes. While closing the package is Roberto Rodriguez, the Finnish artist delivers a stripped back version, which tips the focus solely towards the groove with bumpy bass tones and heavily swinging rhythms driving the track throughout.

Hot and 'clean' new album from JJ&J...TIP!
Two years after the artistic statement that was their expansive third LP, famed live act and hardware lovers Juju & Jordash are releasing another full-length on Dekmantel. Clean-cut, a nine-track affair, comes lovingly pressed to vinyl in autumn 2014.

The duo fully embrace the album format, creating a tight tapestry of emotive and danceable sound that reveals more detail and depth with each new listen. Textures range from organic and lush to synthetic and arresting. Deep-space serenity gets juxtaposed with more urgent and alien paranoia.

"Clean-cut is tighter, more honest and there's less hiding behind a hazy screen of FX," say the pair.

The new release marks a clear evolution in the career of these singular artists. Clearly, Clean-cut is another feather in the already resplendent bow of Juju & Jordash.

Boston Bun is back for 2015 with Just for Freaks, which is part 1 of a series of three EPs dedicated to unrestrained underground clubbing.

JUST FOR FREAKS 1 stays in the Chicago house revival that Boston Bun established these past 2 years. The right balance between deep and ghetto music.

A-side " PLEASURE " is a track that you can play very late in the darkest clubs. It drives us with unpitched voices and unleashed TR which succeed to a cut-up bass.

B-side " LEVITATE " flirts with lovely strummed music, almost nostalgic, interrupted by an harmonious and bouncy bassline. The lyric "You wanna play house some more" sounds like the anthem of a neverending party.

Kid Sublime's protégé J.A.N. drops his brand new debut 12''.
Amsterdam based J.A.N. got inspired by local DJ's in the Amsterdam nightlife scene at early age. Soon he started DJ'ing, and hooked up with fellow 'Amsterdammer' and DJ/producer Kid Sublime, who showed him the ropes of rocking a sampler. J.A.N. quickly caught the virus and invested in his own digital equipment, started digging for samples, and thereby widening his musical spectrum.

When Kid introduced J.A.N. to house music, he quickly felt drawn to the warm, deep sounds of the Detroit house scene. He describes his fusion style as B-Boy House, and incorporated this right back into his DJ sets.

With more than 150 releases and many of them considered classics by now we're really proud to welcome Frédéric Blais aka Fred Everything to the ever growing Local Talk family.
The atmospheric deep house builder Brothers & Sisters comes in two different versions and is everything we could wish for, deep, punchy and masterfully produced house music, sounding right at home on Local Talk.
The PM Atlantic version will do the work for the early sets and AM Pacific is the perfect end of the nighter.
Finishing off is Legacy, a track where groove and dedication is the keywords, a guaranteed weapon in any DJ´s bag in the coming months.
All in all, three tracks of the kind of nuanced deep house we've come to expect from the brilliant Fred Everything.

'Treat Me Right', the third album from Trus'me, featured plenty of modern club anthems and was lauded by a gamut of the most respected DJs around, including Ben Klock, Guy Gerber, Tini and Maya Jane Coles. Reflecting the Trus'me musical palette and chosen by him for this very reason, Prime Numbers has now put together an undoubtedly excellent collection of seven remixes by a stellar cast of friends and collaborators.

From the U.S with Luke Hess & Truncate to Sweden with Skudge via the U.K with Truss & Alan Fitzpatrick, France with Marcelus and Germany with Roman Flugel, together these remixers make up an impressive team from the forefront of Techno and House including both bonafide veterans and the vibrant new school talents alike.
With remixes on Prime Numbers, the label always ask the producers to wholly reinterpret the tracks and that's what has happened here to devastating effect, with each artist bringing their distinctive style to the table and providing radically fresh tracks rather than just basic revamps.

In inimitable style, Skudge mould 'Moonlight Kiss' into a deep analogue roller. They maintain the chopped vocal hook and the dreamlike feel of the original but drive the tempo with crackling snares and thunderous kicks. Marcelus brings the pain to 'Hindsight' stripping the piece right back to the bare essentials. His rework fizzes and pops itself into the darkness whilst the bass and keys ride out a mesmeric and hypnotic groove.

Both Alan Fitzpatrick & Luke Hess put their touch to 'I Want You'.
The Deeplab Detroit master Luke Hess turns out in much the same vein as his releases on FXHE and Planet E working the original into a subtler, more spacious groove. Whilst Fitzpatrick pumps the track with iron & steroids rocking some seriously insistent action for the wide-eyed, this is most certainly one for the top of the night and has all the right anthemic ingredients.

Truss toughens up 'Defunct', simplifying the track and giving it more friction for the dance floor. 'It's Slow' gets treated twice to Truncate's vision. Mix 1 is all minimal pumping Dance Mania type moves whilst Mix 2 is a nod to Todd Terry dubs with percolated bass and frayed keys.
Roman Flugel heightens the tension of the now classic 'Somebody' building the groove expertly with delay and a perfect flow very much in the style of his fantastic Jack For Daze release last year.

This limited triple vinyl release comes in a bespoke wide spine sleeve and includes a bonus CD featuring a selection of the remixes plus a few handpicked tracks from recent Prime Numbers vinyl releases including Fred P, Mosca, XDB & Adesse.

Veteran NYC synth master Gavin Russom joins L.I.E.S. with an outstanding three track ep. ...
Epic, tense, and driving Russom goes for the throat crafting beautifully produced functional club tracks that teeter on the edge of the deepest psychedelic realm. With hints of many different electronic strains creeping into his productions, we get the full specturm and see this talented producer doing some of his best work in recent times, the hidden gem being the b-side's closing track, The Telstar File.

180g Vinyl Music by Nicolas Jaar, Words by Thomas Kendricks
Nicolas Jaar has shared a new track from Chicago ghetto house/juke veteran DJ Slugo. It's called 'Ghetto", and it was produced by Jaar. That's it above via Other People. According to Jaar, it was made 'in light of recent events".

Special dub version of Mandingo's original track, 'Another Night on Earth." This is an extended alternate version of the original which appears on BC009_909 - Modern Underground V.3. It sounds like a spaced out house groove with some Chicago style stabs, Jamaica style rubs and Detroit style chords. This is a strictly limited one-sided 12' release.

Plus sized house hitmaker DJ Sneak has knocked together his second release for Exploited Records, laying down some serious swing on 3 club tracks which are destined to make dance floors sweat this summer, from Ibiza to points beyond. With Sneak's infamous grill and barbecue sessions in mind the "Night Dish EP" is a proper Doner Kebab and Satay Meal after a heavy night out in Berlin. Featuring artwork by Berlin-based street artist Nomad.

After a 12 year break the UK Techno label Solid Groove is back.
Kicking off with a collaboration with New York artist and Metroplex label manager Kimyon Huggins.


A1: Track one Sandy is a Detroit influenced track with noises recorded live by the man himself from hurricane sandy.
A2: Aubreys windy city remix is a more peacetime mix of the original with twists and turns and a dark groove throughout.
B1: Aubrey-Dust storm salsa, is a atmospheric journey with a hypnotic groove and has been tested at Panorama bar at peak time by various DJ's to great success.
B2: Kimyon's remix, taking a more dance floor feel with harder beats and driving metallic sounds.

Roma meets Running Back. Final Frontier/Pigna/Nature bossman, terrific producer, Italian true school Techno ledge and celebrated pasta boy Marco Passarani delivers new original material since his brilliant Statostasi EP.

Francis Inferno Orchestra is a name you may already be familiar with. The relatively young stargazer has been straddling the cosmic yet-invisible line of disco meets house with a string of tight knitted, warm productions across Kolour Recordings, Join the Dots, Under The Shade, Wolf Music, and Voyeurhythm to name a few.

Always surprising us with their A&R skills, Hot Creations are back with another outstanding release, this time from rising star Greg Pidock, who is soon to release his debut album on the label. 'Blame Game' is fresh and beautifully crafted with deep vocals and warm melodies, building effortlessly into sonic bliss. On remix duty, Minus favourite Hobo picks up the pace to deliver two on point reworks aimed steadily at the dance floor.

A formally trained artist, Greg received his BFA in Intermedia & Cyberarts when he was 20. Introduced to Jamie Jones and Lee Foss in 2012, Pidcock was quickly signed to the label and has spent the last year working on his debut album. Studying in Montreal he soon became the Creative Director at Montreal's legendary Cherry nightclub, DJing alongside legends. This led to the formation of Bad Pony Records with Tone Depth of Bedrock fame - a process, which firmly cemented his goals of creating music and art. Currently the resident DJ at the renowned Velvet Nightclub in Montreal and working with Turkish composer, Mercan Dede, as a sound engineer, Greg Pidcock is about to explode onto the international scene with his blend of passionate, sexy, heavy house.

Member of the Minus family since 2007, Joel Boychuk aka Hobo very much holds his own identity. With an early Detroit influence he has explored his own form of techno expressionism: sometimes dark and abstract, others more sample heavy and groove based. With a lot of time spent on his recently released album 'Iron Triangle', Hobo now plans to focus on DJing after being an almost exclusively live performer for 6 years. Both original and remix have been featured heavily in Jamie's recent sets..

2012 sees Detroit label, KMS Records, celebrating it's 25th Anniversary.

Founded in 1987, by Kevin Maurice Saunderson, his first release was 'Triangle Of Love' produced by, 'Kreem', (just one of his many guises), little did Saunderson know, at that time, that two and a half decades later, he would still be releasing music on his KMS label.

Let's go back to the beginning... Born in Brooklyn in 1964, Saunderson moved to the picturesque Detroit suburb of Belleville, when he was nine, a different world to the urban decay of the city itself.

Saunderson has an enviable dual reputation. To the dance cognoscenti he's one of the 'Belleville Three,' (with Saunderson being the 'Elevator', Juan Aktkins being the 'Originator' and Derrick May being the 'Innovator'), the trio of friends invented Detroit Techno.

The trio met at Belleville High School where, Saunderson befriended Juan Atkins and Derrick May, who introduced him to the eclectic post-disco playlists of Detroit radio DJ Charles 'The Electrifying Mojo' Johnson. ' Johnson played disco, funk, Prince, Parliament/Funkadelic, Kraftwerk, the B52's and Tangerine Dream, to name just a few. Saunderson already had a serious love for music, but he didn't realise he was going to produce music, until then.

In his first year at East Michigan University, where he studied telecommunications, he gave up football to become a DJ himself. He took inspiration from visits to Larry Levan's Paradise Garage in New York and Frankie Knuckles' Warehouse and Music Box in Chicago. Saunderson, Atkins and May, played at campus parties, until setting up their own club in Detroit, the fabled Music Institute.

Of the 'Belleville Three' Atkins was the first to make a record, with electro group Cybotron's 'Alleys of Your Mind' in 1981, then May, with Rhythim is Rhythim's 'Nude Photo' in 1987. Inspired by his friends, Saunderson bought some basic equipment and made his own debut in 1987 with 'Triangle Of Love'. 'I just had a good ear and a good heart for music,' he says. 'Juan Atkins led me into DJing which led me into making extra beats to play in my set. Then I started learning how to play basslines, putting a lot of work in, just elevating it from there'

Undeniably, Saunderson is a gifted producer (going under guises such as Reese, E-Dancer, Tronikhouse and Reese Project), remixer and a tireless international DJ. To lovers of great pop music he's also one third of Inner City, who made regular visits to the Top 20 in the late 80s with jubilant hits like 'Big Fun' and 'Good Life', paving the way for hundreds of underground-to-chart crossover records to come.

On a visit to England in 1988 Saunderson realised that a mythology had built up around the 'Belleville Three'. To his even greater surprise, 'Big Fun' became not just a massive club record but a pop hit. He also helped to revolutionise remixing when he worked on 'We Know It' by Wee Papa Girl Rappers. Over the following decade Saunderson would continue to produce imaginative remixes for the likes of New Order, Pet Shop Boys, The Shamen, Paula Abdul and the Lighthouse Family.

Even whilst travelling the globe, djing or touring with Inner City, Saunderson continued to produce and release not only his own tracks on his KMS label (with tracks such as 'The Sound' by Reese, 'Rock To The Beat' by Reese, 'Truth Of Self Evident' by Reese & Santonio, 'Let's, Let's, Let's, Let's Dance' by Keynotes and 'Colour Of Love' by The Reese Project), but he also released tracks by other up and coming artists, releasing classic underground gems, such as 'Flash' by Fix, 'Can You Feel It' by Chez Damier, 'Soundscape' by Kosmic Messenger, 'Definition Of Love' by Kaos and 'Use Me' by R-Tyme. The list is endless.

Fast forward to 2012 and it's hard to believe that KMS is still releasing records. With such a long history, what better way to celebrate than to release a special CD Boxset. The 'KMS 25th Anniversary Classics' will be released on CD, Digital (and for those vinyl collectors, there will be 6 x 12' Samplers). Each format includes a plethora of gems which have been released on KMS over the last 25 years.

What started with an anonymous CD handed out in a dark club to Serafin, found its way via Marcus Worgull to a mesmerized and raving Running Back office.

The EP received critical acclaim and found it way into the box of a diverse group of DJ. One of the most acclaimed DJ's and producers from Spain, Nacho's history is evident in his productions. He is as comfortable making a peak time acid track to making deep house tracks that harken to productions of Mr Fingers. Nacho is clearly influenced by the early sound of Chicago house and acid house and delivers a modern twist on what is a timeless sound. Patrice Scott and Chris Mitchell are back at it under their Modular One moniker. Segue One sees the duo pushing forward on their thematic journey into deep, interstellar techno. Adding to the fire, UK deep techno maestro, Aubrey blesses the EP with a remix crafted in his signature textural style.

This is the debut track from a young London based producer, inspired after a particularly intense Kerri Chandler set.
He explains the origins of this track in his own words:
"I actually went to the Kerri Chandler night a while ago at Plan B, where he played all night and the atmosphere in there was incredible. Needless to say, he utterly smashed it. I was coming home from work on the train a few days later and literally managed to get the main riff down in about 40 minutes and finished it off that weekend. It was a really quick track to write, probably about 6 hours in total but I guess I was super inspired."
Paul Woolford played the track on Space Terrace during the summer and it was the final house track played at We Love Sundays this season.

After featuring on the One Records VA released earlier this year with 'Besides', young Frenchmen Yamen & EDA are back on board the label with 'Planet Brooklyn'. Always on the hunt to recruit and push new talent, Subb-an and Adam Shelton have been quick to snap up Yamen & EDA to be part of the One Records crew, who will also be making their debut at Adam and Subb-an's famous Below party in Birmingham later this year. While only in the first stages of their career there is no doubt this talented duo are on their way to stardom with previous releases on Safari Numerique, Earlydub and their own Unpleased Records with more on the way.

In the lead-up to the release of 'Motion Sickness' on December 3rd, Domino will put out a three-part 12' vinyl series with each record featuring two highlights from the remix compilation. These releases will be staggered throughout November in December, the first of which is to be released on November 19th. Full details can be found below.
Bringing together some of the most respected names in dance music with the key players in the Domino roster; the compilation celebrates dance and electronic music. In this series these incredible interpretations will only be available in the format classically associated with the genre: vinyl.
The tracks featuring in the series include the Grammy Award-nominated Carl Craig remix of Junior Boys' 'Like a Child', Mike Simonetti's re-working of Blood Orange's 'Champagne Coast', the fluid funk of DFA's remix of Clinic's 'Tomorrow' and Joy Orbison's beautifully twisted and intricate take on 'Love Cry' by Four Tet.

Bring U Up originally appeared on Roman's Blackmale label in 1995 as a rumbling slice of New Jersey garage complete with gospel samples and Romanthony collaborator The Trojan Horse. It was a bit of a cult favourite with underground heads like DJ Deep. It wasn't until Roman completely re-produced and re-sang the song in 2000 that it fully took on anthem status. Out went the heavy kicks and hypnotic moods and in came James Brown horn stabs and a live beat that sounded like Bernard Purdie had joined him for the session (the drums were actually provided by Roman himself). The result was an instant club hit with everyone from Pete Tong to Francois Kevorkian that reached (a very respectable 74) in the UK national charts.
On this 12' PBR Streetgang deliver a wonderfully deep modern house groove, Toby Tobias delivers 2 mixes straight out of the 90s basement and Glaswegian wunderkind Barrientos offers a kind of sun-kissed Gypsy Woman style re-invention.

Prime Numbers are back with the next in their compiled EP series, once again selecting new tracks from producers who inspire & represent the sound of the label. This time it's a diverse outing, dwelling on the dubbier, more subtle side of things.

The release starts with Modini, Following on from their excellent Turk EP for Dixon Basement Jams here they flip the script.'Attack Warning' fuses new wave & nu-beat styles with an almost ZTT-like sensibility. It's big, bold & direct with chopped vocal samples, an acidic bottom line & rock hard snares.

Nick Sinna returns to the label with 'Come Again', a brooding piece with a distinctly UK feel. Various drum sounds are dextrously melded into a restrained afro tinged rhythmic workout.
Luke Hess brings his own take to the track stripping back & tightening the elements whilst washing it in a Detroit solution for a more intense overall feel.

Finally Hakim Murphy drops 'Synth Work'. Fantastically understated & ethereal the track draws you in with padded kicks, floating bleeps & squelched bass.

Ricardo has the potential to become a real rockstar in the electronic bizness. Living the vida loca between night life and bedroom producing. THE MESSAGE EP is his debut. Inspired by 90ies UK Garage, Voguing, New York (where he has spent some time), Marshall Jefferson, Kevin Saunderson, ethnic minorities and Soulmusic. Deep, funky, great. This is Ricardo's start - there is a lot more to follow.

After 'Take 1' comes 'Take 2', it sometimes really is that simple... Together with the 'Pre-Take' that came out before the summer this third volume in WPH's 'Our Beat Is Still New' project completes the 12 tracks that form the album.
More members of the core WPH family are on board here, but we also welcome some newcomers to the label.

The A-side opens up with what we have always considered to be the Dresden counterpart to WPH, the Uncanny Valley family of Jacob Korn, Credit 00 and Sneaker. With 'Drum Abuse' the provide the roughest track of the compilation, and one that will have techno DJ's play new beat again... The second track on the A-side comes courtesy of Jacques Renault & Mark Verbos aka Goodnight Moon, giving a serious New York rendition of new beat.

On the B-side we have Social Disco Club and Outlander, both no strangers to WPH, and both very much on point again here. Social Disco Club marries his trademark deep house sound with a new beat feel, and Outlander was pretty much there when new beat started, so he provides us with vintage machine slowness straight from new beat heaven.
Is this the end of it Well, you either know WPH or you don't...

Annanan follows up his strong debut on the Forbidden Planet label with another crunched up techno three tracker on the Pinkman label.

A new collaboration of unknown origins inspired by the mathematical works of Carl Friedrich Gauss. Aptly named after Gauss's birthplace, the Braunschweig EP kicks off this new project and label proper!

A track remixed by the grand master Reboot himself, which shaken the
things and brought this label into the spotlight. We awaited the
follow up and it came as a warm collaboration between this dynamic duo
(H&K) and the uber producer , DJ , vocalist , Roland Clark .

What i like about these guys is that they always adapted their sound
to fit in. This time they surprised us with a warm , deep , nu disco
sound , a richly textured Eastern European influenced black sea sound
. The Original Mix melds the soft melancholy of much Middle Eastern
music with the rapidly changing structures of contemporary music , and
works beautifully. And btw it gets more seductive with every listen.

B1 ... When you lose a friend is following the same line of slow , deep
, sexy , nu disco rhythm that this ep carries out . From what we
understood this track has a special story , actually being a tribute
to a long lost friend of Horatio. A grand master in martial arts that
was a mentor , a friend, a father figure that helped him guiding into
life. It brought chills on my spine when i heard it and for sure you
can feel a lot of emotions when you listen it.

B2 DJ Le Roi returns after his bomb release 'I get deep' offsetting a
remix with a more traditional electronic sound. His remix is a strong
statement: a full-bodied 4/4 cut laced with slightly deep synth and
half-sung, half-chanted vocals from Roland - all in keeping with the
Middle Eastern feel of the record. The Funky bass chords are perfect
for a dancing-barefoot-in the club because you are too sweated to keep
the shoes in...

The III Rivers juggernaut sets forth once again, release number 4 The Charivari EP, putting Voiceless in the cockpit and leading the charge.

Second Nature sets a dark, sultry and ominous tone as Voiceless deploys a plethora of sounds and moods that resonate with all the tense drama of the label's affiliated club night, Bohemian Grove.
Big laser beam synths dart through a thick pitch black haze while a factory line percussion section hammers on.

Always keeping a foot in the sonic warfare division, we get three locked grooves loaded and ready for battle, funky, electrified technoid wobblers that should fight off most opposition with ease.

Flip the disc and Opt-out opens with a controlled urgency as a barrage of kick drums sets the train in motion. Voiceless layers up rich, untreated piano chords against the backdrop of dark industrial chaos, percussion artefacts career around the mix and various elements are put through an aural meat grinder before the familiar and welcoming piano motif returns like a long lost friend, guiding us through the smoke hand-in-hand. A beautiful juxtaposition of soulful melancholy and cold, glacial machines.

Final track Charivari really hits the accelerator as a tough and mechanical rhythm jolts against blurred, radioactive pads and searing string lines before collapsing into a fractal breakdown introducing mystical, weaving high end leads. An eyes-down fist pumper of the highest order and one that commands excessive smoke & strobe light abuse late, late into the session.

One to close off one of their infamous soirees in style, hoards of mutant dancers leaving the industrial backdrop of the club's venue and crossing paths with the early morning dog walkers and Sunday strollers. Four releases in and we've lost none of the quality control, unique drive and free minded 'true spirit' (to quote Tresor's legendary catchphrase). The label goes from the strength to strength and with it, brings a whole new generation of techno shamans under their wing.

Woodsmen & Lady Log takes a new step into the future with this dynamic and impressive 12' EP from Anders Wasserfall. This norwegian producer has reached status as a solid and qualitative music maker with fine releases on Greta Cottage Workshop among others. His music on W&LL004 is no exception, on this piece of vinyl you find impressive skills, jazzy moods and bouncing beats in a pleasurable blend. Dont miss.

Perseus Traxx, aka Nigel Rogers, is returning to Photic Fields with a four track outing. This young Briton has time and time again shown his ability to sculpt soulful soundscapes using the building blocks laid down by Chicago House. Harmony of Elements is further proof of this.

G2014 is over and Downbeat records, is back with a new release.Jose Rico and Urtzi , come back again with another 4 tracks vinyl. "Memories from another life" and "no back memory" are two deep house pearls with minimal sequences and emotional synths made by Urtzi. At the same time, Jose Rico is the responsible for the mechanical and powerful "Aint", and the percussive and ethereal "small island" , probably one of his best tracks so far. And, as they did with that "space is the place" ep, they have made here a consistent release, setting their personal view of the dance music.

Oxford based Timmy P got a fierce House nugget that will drop hard in clubs where the mood is deep, dark and 100% raw.
The original track "What You Sayin" comes across like an ol' school K.O.T or Nice & Ripe house dub...the sick bassline alone will surely make you bump!
If the original doesn't do it for you we're pretty confident that our boy Chesus will deliver with his killer 90's inspired rework.
Last but not least Timmy teamed up with Stefano Esposito for a sweet and sweaty Garage jam to finish off this fine EP in style

Always hard at work unearthing interesting new projects or forgotten old gems, Opilec Music is now serving up a retrospective compilation of highly esteemed Chicago producer Jordan Field's best work from 1986 - 1991.

Field has been active now for some thirty years (on labels like Rush Hour, Headphoniq and Mo Wax) but his best work was arguably done in his first decade or so. Now Opilec boss I-Robots has been given access to a collection of Field's early recordings and has selected, compiled & conceived this project himself. It will be presented as a full-length album but will also arrive in a few select EP parts, with this being the first one.

Says Jordan about the project "This album is one of my most important works to date, as it contains recordings captured during a very special moment in my life circa 1986-1991. At this point I had much knowledge about DJ culture and the art form of house music, I was a product of my environment. I was young, but I had already experienced so much in my first 5 years of absorbing it all! While that may not seem like a lot of time, you have to understand House Music was not even a decade old at this point. What's important for me to explain is I had already gone through my baby steps by the time I was recording the trax that are on this album. This is the point where I was at the next level, chapter 2." Up first is the classic jack of 'That's How It Is' with its perfectly analogue synths and drums conjuring a warm, human and organic mood. Acid lines and slapping percussion all interact and ooze Chicago house authenticity.

'The Answer' is a much rawer and more dishevelled sounding affair with lumpy, rough hewn drums and crisscrossing percussion that screams to be played loud in a warehouse. 'Future Thought's' is alive with the sound of classic Roland cowbells and shuffling drums. It's deep and mystic and sounds as if it's come from somewhere far off in deepest darkest space. Finally, 'Rhythm of Romance' gets a little sleazy with its tight loops, thumping kick drums and mechanical metal hooks. They sound all out of control but are off set by some seriously sombre chords in the latter half.

Often imitated but never bettered, this is the true sound of Chicago house music in all its forms from one of its finest sons.

After five years of throwing parties under the name Green Villain, the label Green Village was founded in 2014. Their second release, Come Through For Me features a single from New York City based DJ/Producer, Policy. Following his two recent albums on 100% silk in 2013, and Rush Hour in 2012, this will be his last release for 2014. The flip features a more dance floor friendly remix by London based, Thefft which focuses on predominant percussion and off beat bass stabs.

The ICEE HOT label has never been busier, and that active streak is set to continue with another new addition to the roster: San Francisco producer Roche (a.k.a. Ben Winans). Having previously released music on Hieroglyphic Being's Mathematics imprint and 100% Silk, Roche comes to ICEE HOT with quite an impressive resume, and this two­ track outing is the latest chapter in what's quickly becoming an excellent body of work.

The a­-side offers an enticingly tripped­ out journey; full of swirling synths and twisting techno rhythms, "Depths" clocks in at more than 11 minutes in length, but every second is worth savouring. On the flip side, "Seers" brings the proceedings back to Earth with its snapping snares and insistently funky bassline, although the track's alien melodies do keep things enjoyably odd.

Cyber Dance Records are back on the attack with a fresh release from the legendary Perseus Traxx aka Nigel Rogers, a 4-track EP entitled after recent scientific developments 'An Apparent Horizon'. It's a firmly machine-based and totally jam-packed affair reflecting diverse sounds from the UK's own rich history of electronic dance music, with elements from the classic Warp "deep space sound" prominent as much as the more usual 303-jacking acid house grooves in the vein of Baby Ford or Bam Bam. 'Lost Dreams' opens the record with a floaty dream-like hipnosis from the depths of space and sets the tone in magnificent style, followed up on Side A with the irresistible roll of 'Reverse The Trend' that takes the groove harder, further and deeperstraight off to the beyond. Dark strings reminiscent of old LFO, B-12 or Autechre vinyls from the early 90s propel us into Side B on 'Darkness Stalks', and then we're transported onto the concluding track on the EP, 'Distances'; an epic closer that opens with beautiful reverbed claps and acid squelches before diving into an inky black void of timeless space-travelling and slow-building tension that could surely echo hauntingly around any M25 rave in the depths of a late 1980s night.

And by the sounds on this EP, she's someone to be noticed. Preceding her forthcoming debut on Ornate, Scott provides another four-track called Wave Sound for Inner Shift Music. It's the fourth release for the label this year and "We Love You" certainly earns its place as the record's A1; sweet and meaningful deep house. "Keep On" is a dubbed out, bassline driven tribal journey of drums and low-end rhythm completed by emotional chords that eventually takeover, while "Cats and Water" is on a funky, stripped-back and loopy '90s techno tip. And for some ambient fun that then turns house: "Sky In The Clouds" is a perfect B2. An exciting producer house communities worldwide should be talking about in the second half of this year

* THE SOFT - ICARIA. Icaria is this live pulsating jam that we've played in our recent gigs but have not had the chance to record. The track has changed hugely since we first played it out but we wanted it to retain the same atmosphere it had as a live piece, so it's grown exponentially. We recorded the track at home in London using both live samples and hardware. The track focuses on the more hypnotic aspects of electronic and dance music, and draws influence from Krautrock and Minimalism as well as contemporary electronic artists such as Walls, Jon Hopkins and The Field.

* KILLAWATT - AEOLIS MONS. My main inspiration for 'Aeolis Mons' was a load of random field recordings that I've had in a folder for the last 3 years that I never did anything with. Since the only brief for this project was that there was no brief, I just dived into a track without thinking about anything, it was very spur of the moment and natural. Structure wise, I wanted to create something that built up and up in terms of energy, building to a climax and then breaking back down and fading away into the distance. It actually felt like I was writing the entire process of an intense trip condensed down into a few minutes.

* THERMALBEAR - CARPE NOCTEM. We're not going to blow smoke northwards on this one, or describe the deep inner adventure the 'artist' endured to discover this sound. Carpe Noctem is a simple sequence of tones and frequencies presented with (relative) harmonic sense against a backdrop of solid bottom end.... And while there might be a slight overuse of his new studio toy in here, we understand he has to justify the purchase to his better half or he'll be out on the street. If you have eyes I would recommend checking the vid, and the following buzzwords may help any budding journos out there, analogue delay, restraint, filters, pensive, phaser, cassette tape saturation, BOC.

Strut return to the archives of seminal Chicago house label Dance Mania in January 2015 for 'Dance Mania: Ghetto Madness'. The follow-up to Strut's acclaimed Dance Mania label retrospective 'Hardcore Traxx' from early 2014, this new instalment places the spotlight on the raw, stripped back, hyper bpms of ghetto house and the rise of the movement's fresh generation of stars during the mid'90s including DJ Deeon, DJ Funk, Jammin' Gerald and DJ Milton.

The album tells the story of the evolution of Chicago's sound during the era as mix tapes circulated through local stores and DJs developed their own underground following, playing local parties in the projects. Crowds began responding to faster bpms and gangsta rap-inspired X-rated lyrics. As DJ Deeon remembers, 'it bridged the gap. It made it OK for guys in the ghetto to like house again and it brought the women onto the dancefloor too.' Dance Mania was perfectly positioned to capitalise on the new sound - many of the DJs came regularly into Ray Barney's record store and, as Chicago's most trusted and respected label owner, he was offered the best tracks for commercial release at an early stage.

'Ghetto Madness' brings together some of the underground classics and enduring favourites that earned Dance Mania the title of 'Ghetto House's Motown'. Tracks include DJ Deeon's party-starter 'The Freaks', raw DJ Funk cut 'Computer Sex' and Nina Kraviz favourite, Paul Johnson's 'Give Me Ecstacy'. Other featured gems from the archive include the dark early Steve Poindexter outing 'Computer Madness' and Tyree's in-demand jam, 'Nuthin' Wrong'.

Back from a brief hiatus from solo output, Lee Curtiss follows up the masterfully naughty 'Lunatic Fringe' EP with another heavy dose of dancefloor debauchery for own imprint Visionquest. Showcasing his undeniable flair for libidinous club music with a hint of the unusual, Lee takes time out from producing his upcoming album to deliver two killer originals for 'The Ride EP'. A­-side 'Drink Tickets' is a suitably dusky and contorted trip with a growling modulated bassline, pseudo-sinister vocal and kinetic groove while B­-side 'Dancing Girls', a collaboration with his Chicago partner in crime, Nick Bassett ­ is a simmering hypnotic summertime affair with a filtered 90s feel and dirty funk bassline combined with sonically sophisticated detail.

A veteran of the electronic music scene, Lee Curtiss has successfully straddled the industry's many contradictions, releasing hits as exquisitely crafted and mentally twisted as they are in global demand. As a founding father of Visionquest's forward thinking outfit and label and a DJ renowned for mining the depths of dance music's history at establishments such as DC10 and fabric, Lee Curtiss is a true eccentric and innovator guaranteed to deliver a sonic melting pot of humour, sex and funk.

Initially making his mark as a producer with releases on Spectral, Get Physical, Supplement Facts, and Wolf & Lamb, two of Lee's biggest hits, the Visionquest remix of 'Good Voodoo' remix and 'Smoking Mirrors' were in RA's top tracks of 2011 and out of the techno realm, Lee's remixed the likes of Tracey Thorne and David Lynch. Since then there have been massive releases on Culprit (Candy EP feat. Matt Tolfrey) and of course with the 'Lunatic Fringe EP' on Visionquest.

Nick Bassett is a true gentleman helping to shape the new chapter of Chicago's long history of dance music, a spokesperson for the futuristic sounds of modern deep house, and a devoted student of electronic music's past. Nick grew up in the academic cornfields of Urbana, Illinois, with extended visits to a village in West Africa. He's lived the last seven years as a proper Chicagoan in the Windy City. Nick's life has been influenced as much by art and design as it has by the explosion and reinvention of new house music and digging for classic 90s vinyls. Nick's music selection has been described as 'elegant yet understated...dripping with passion, sweat, and creativity.' Bringing these qualities to his music production promises to catapult his career another great step forward.

"What $ Love" is one of Romanthony's rarest songs. The original house mixes - only ever released on the fleeting US imprint Vinylmania - is one of his most sought after pieces of vinyl with pristine copies selling for upwards of £100. Roman did make an R&B version on his Glasgow Underground album but the house mixes with their low-slung dubby organ & bass grooves are the real dj deal.

The classic cut from the Vinylmania 12" (Roman's Remix) is included here, as are three new mixes from Supernova, Christian Nielsen and Those Beats.

Christian Nielsen delivers possibly the most club-friendly mix on the package, taking Roman's vocals on a tough, percussive, jacked-up house groove. Supernova add a touch of hypnotic beauty choosing to sample of Roman's voice and layering them over a sublime groove. Lastly, Glasgow's finest Those Beats add a touch of jazz giving this classic track the kind of workout you'd expect from someone like Pal Joey or the Rednail Kidz.

The house leaning off shoot of Fachwerk Records hits release number three here with a two track release from Reno Wurzbacher, the 'housemate cousin' of the crew who has already turned up on the label a couple of times. First up is the coy melancholia and pillow-y deep house of 'The Love You Got'. It's a grainy cut with grey scale textures and sultry voices contained with in the sparse groove. It strikes a nice late night mood before German master of the deep Sven Weisemann turns in his own remix. This version is more upright and weighty, with bulbous synth lines dropping into the mix, which is already awash with rippling pad puddles. Early in the evening, late in the night, either way both tracks here hit their intended mark perfectly....

Sometimes people from different environmental backgrounds cross paths with one another through similar interests, and they notice that they have more in common then a certain taste in music alone. Boris Bunnik (aka Conforce) is hailing from the small scenic Dutch island Terschelling, that can be seen as the complete opposite environmental background as the dirty streets of Rotterdam's South Side that drew the first guidelines for Frustrated Funk's watchword: Mad Drama From Everyday Life. Although the background is opposite, the drama and struggle of daily life seem to have more similarities then one would expect. Pink Skull is one of those delightfully weird and innovative under-the-radar acts that you'll wish you'd stumbled across far sooner. Beginning in 2004, based around the musical pairing of Julian Grefe and Justin Geller, Pink Skull has done its fair share of morphing over the years, working its way through experimental tech minimalism early on, becoming a five-piece live band playing electronic psyche-rock and alt. hip hop (racking up a collaboration with Wu-Tang's Ghostface Killah), and recently taming their multicoloured dance spectre into 303-hugging electronica and solid trip-techno, nailed on their 'Skin Game' and 'Braindance' EPs.

It's this latest Pink Skull incarnation that shines through in the group's bubbling, acidic mix for Clash, with electronica royalty like Aphex, 808 State and The Black Dog sitting alongside newer 303 warriors like SFV Acid (from ace Brooklyn label UNO) and Jared Wilson, putting in a fine, spooky and spiky take on Detroit techno. It's a cracking little selection, clearly chosen by a few informed musical minds.

A nod to Detroit as an ever-present - a marker by which others are measured, Bone's first track on The Detroit EP, Here To Stay (Won't Fade Away) makes a statement
above and beyond just being a fine example the music it refers to. The sumptuous melody that opens the track is accompanied by a substantial yet soft, almost warm, kick, a combination that somehow provides an atmosphere and depth way beyond merely the of the sum of its parts. More rolling percussion and drums are crisply ushered in before the Here To Stay (Won't Fade Away) vocal begins looping over the composition. Linear, straight up loops, grooves and rhythm give a consistent sense of railroad-esque motion atop of an ever-present vein of lush synth and melody. A track that is certainly hereto stay. A2. Detroit Is ... Soul With more of an emotional focus than symbolic this time, it's clear this one is from Bone's heart. Detroit Is ... Soul, ducks and weaves in the grey area between house and techno; the initial percussion that is brushed over the kick giving more of a house
swing than a techno groove. The on/off, cut-and-dry synth chords contrast with the looser fluidity in Here To Stay (Won't Fade Away), and gives a real sense of intent and desire. The real focal point however is the profound vocal that comes swirling over the top, "Detroit is what I love, Detroit is what I need, Detroit is where I'm from, Detroit's the air I breathe" No explanation necessary. B. Detroit Is ... Hard
Bone rounds off part 1 of his Detroit EP with aplomb. Where the previous two tracks have drawn on the emotional and symbolic significance of Detroit as a place and as an ideal, Detroit Is ... Hard, cuts straight to the chase. Utilizing the same vocal
sample as Detroit Is ... Soul, Bone feeds things through the grinder and comes out with a late night dancefloor destroyer that blends Millsian fury and Red Planet mystique with the archetypal Subject Detroit aesthetic. Chaotic arpeggiated melody, indignant claps and breakneck drums and percussion are the chosen company for Bone's words on this flipside to Detroit Is ... Soul. Detroit is ... Hard, undoubtedly to become a mainstay for
sweaty after-hours affairs the world over

Love or hate his infamous 'Twitter beefs' there is no denying the legendary status of this house music vanguard. With 20+ years of DJing and producing under his belt, this is DJ Sneak's first release on Exploited: A collaboration with Murk (Oscar G and Ralph Falcon). Back in 2003 Murk released 'Dark Beat' - a track that topped the Billboard Dance charts and became the underground smash of the year.
A few months ago we asked Sneak for a remix by mail but we didn't get a reply. After 4 months he suddenly popped up in our mailbox, apologized and said that he finally had some studio time. In the end he sent through some tracks to see if we like them. The rest is history as you're probably listening to one of the tracks right now. There s only one thing that matches a new My Love Is Underground 12 - a remastered pressing of one of the label s certified hits! Paris Underground Trax Volume 1 was one of the records that catapulted the French label into the spotlight - at the time produced anonymously, it later emerged that Mr Brawther was the man behind the four retro house cuts. It s a wonderful homage to the deeper strains of 90s New Jersey, NYC Underground and Sexy Thing Remix still smack of Kerri Chandler at his most bumping, with fat pads, sultry vocals and gritty basslines. The B-Side features uptempo gem Hardcore Deep House , while GTFO! glides along with warm, embracing chords. If you missed out first time round, don t make the same mistake again.

Over the last few months, the main focus in the Rekids camp has been on Nina Kraviz and the remixing of her 2012 debut LP. Now it's time for a change, and it's head honcho Radio Slave's turn to get in on the remix action, with his 2008 hit 'Tantakatan' getting a fresh makeover in the shape of Mr. G's 'Nightwatch Dub' and Prins Thomas' 'Diskomiks'.
On the former, Mr. G powers up his MPC and delivers that signature analogue beat-driven sound, tweaking the parts and including extra ideas to truly make the track his own. Cranking up the tempo ever so slightly, Mr. G takes the track into darker territory and adds a sinister rumbling bass line with more than enough low-end energy to make your guts shake. Like all of Mr. G's best tracks, his 'Nightwatch Dub' builds gradually, while never losing that trademark Mr. G groove. This one is going to set techno dance-floors alight.
On his 'Diskomiks', the prince of Norwegian 'space-disco' Prins Thomas opts for a more organic approach, re-creating the unmistakeable chord stabs of the original on an acoustic piano and utilising a traditional drum kit for that loose, laid-back groove that could only come from a live drummer. His track shimmers with white noise and reverb throughout, before treating us to a delightfully staccato synth bass that typifies the Scandinavian disco sound. Fans of his musical output won't be disappointed.
Here we have two supremely talented artists tackling the same task from different perspectives, showing that a simple, strong idea can go in one of many directions, and allowing us to indulge our love for techno and disco at the same time!
