Who said that da new Long player must consist by Intros, Outros and Off-Tracks – that all lies in the eye of the beholder and depends on his perspective. It must be honest and has to odd pictures in the heads. DOMPE succeeded that in a perfect way. At the beginning of May, he will release his latest album named HIPPIE CRACK on his own Label JACKRUIT RECORDINGS.

HIPPIE CRACK – music is our drug – it makes us happy and gives us the chance to flee from the gray and ordinary daily routine. These 12 Tracks are highly addictively. Close your eyes, dance and time can be forgotten. Back to the roots – back to good old house music tunes, simple but not easy produced. The DOMPE Style has not to be described on more details; Again, and again full of different facets. These tracks are as always full of summer vibes und carried by lots of samples with plenty of old-school-sounds.

All tracks from the Album tell a story, can be listen to at home or also in the club. It starts with love and full of harmony, before it changes the chill mood the clubbing sounds. All in all, the complete package is very atmospheric. Like a good gig the sounds it goes harder step by step and at its best it comes to an end.

From the front till the back a project with a high intention – one of DOMPES heart wishes was a cover designed by BRINGMANN & KOPETZKI. The result is a perfect comic version of DOMPE and that's a banger. So, HIPPIE CRACK isn't only a musically hot shit, but also a visual highlight.

Faze Action return with Zeke Manyika to present "Kubatana", which aptly means "Together" in Zeke's native Shona. This second release, in a series of four 12"s, features live horns and flute with the lead track taking influences from the late 80s South African Proto House sound. The result being an uplifting slice of original African House for the modern dance floor.

Junior Executive returns to the record bag with another release, this time from New York producer / musician Bing Ji Ling. Give It To You delivers a peak time disco exercise and No Clue rides the guitar to Balearic land. Artwork by Atelje.

IIB celebrate their 50th release with Chris Coco dropping his Dinosaur Baby 12. Featuring the quirky vocals of Camillo Miranda. The OG mix is a hazy stoned out percussive groove dripping in mediterranean sunshine. The dub mix focuses on the hynoptic percussion parts and less on the vox. Rune Lindbaek creates a more electronic disco tinged affair while Luke Solomon creates a straight up deep house bomb. A great release to celebrate a half century!

Gianni Marchetti is one of Italy's best kept secrets...
A composer with a long and elaborate list of writing credits in both pop music and movie soundtracks.
He penned proper anthems in Italy's post-war melodic tradition. Amongst his large and varied oeuvre, in 1977-1978 he composed and recorded the original soundtrack for the skin flick 'Disposta A Tutto'
A slow-burning mix of funky clavinets, scat vocals, wah wah guitars and sultry tenor sax lines, all tied together by a distinctly Italian sensibility.

Rather than fading into obscurity, the soundtrack became a prized collector's item for DJ's and rare groove enthusiasts.
In 2019, Heristal and Danilo Braca (AKA Dany B) are very proud to present a new version of 3 tracks from the Disposta A Tutto soundtrack, edited and extended for maximum dancefloor impact.

The new Toy Tonics EP features four remixes of Kapote - tracks. New and exclusive works by FYI Chris (Rhythm Section Intl), Marvin & Guy (Life & Death), Art Alfie (Studio Barnhus) and French newcomer Real J.

Preceding the release of his debut album, Curses presents 'Gold & Silber', a five track EP led by a hypnotic, post-punk leaning roller, as well as four additional remixes from Antoni Maiovvi, Chinaski and Fango. For the title track, Berlin based artist Perel provides cathartic vocals on top of a drowsy rhythmic framework drawing influence from early EBM, synth music and new wave. Fango provides a more angular, computerised take on the original, whilst Antoni Maiovvi raises the heat to a peak time flow. Across two interpretations, Chinaski provides maximal 80s synth work on the ‚Painkiller bonus vmix' and trippy dancefloor energy on the 'Tech Noir' Remix.

'Window": HVOB explores the boundaries of music Music meets video meets installation: HVOB's new EP 'Window' opens a trialogue between artistic disciplines. The Viennese electronic duo HVOB has firmly established itself on the international electronic music scene with four EPs, a debut album and live appearances at festivals such as the Cape Town Electronic Music Festival and SXSW in Austin. The fifth EP, which was presented at this year's Parallel Vienna art fair and is about to be officially released, is the result of an artistic experiment by Anna Müller and Paul Wallner. Above and beyond the music, 'Window' is a complex art project. The EP is - like the electronic duo's follow-up album, scheduled for release in 2015 - the result of a trialogue with Vienna artist Clemens Wolf and the VJs lichterloh. At the heart of the project are materials and the processes of their transformation, addressed on all three artistic levels and wrapped up in a single work. Each track is therefore a self-contained piece comprising installation, music and video. The EP is made up of four tracks: 'Window", 'Oxid' and two remixes of the title track. HVOB has been fortunate enough to collaborate with luminaries of the music industry: Gui Boratto interprets 'Window' as a pulsating, emotive anthem to the joy of life, Acid Pauli places Anna Müller's vocals at the centre of an almost nine-minute journey through the HVOB world of sound.

Oh yeah, we love those tunes, we love the idea of this west (Mexico) to east (Lithuania) studio exchange, we love the jam style, we love the instant 'let's record it and put it on wax' feel! Italian electronic music mastermind ABYSSY and the Marseille underground hero DONARRA, share for the ALLEY VERSION's 4th release the split E.P. "CLOSE".

ABYSSY aka Mayo Soulomon has, over the years, released records of great interest for Mathematics, New Interplanetary Melodies and many other labels, marked by Detroit and Chicago influences reworked in his personal complex cut.
DONARRA comes to ALLEY VERSION after two beautiful E.P. for Skylax Records and La Chinerie, and recently spotted with its synth-dark-industrial-punk moniker Cardinal & Nun, on L.I.E.S.

The opening ABYSSY's "Close To Me", an obscure rough track totally jacked with the legendary rhythm sampler E-MU SP1200, is an instant cult.
In the following "Lower Michigan Ave", a hypnotic dark plot of analog synthesizers runs on a leftfield rhythm cut, while a whiny female voice condenses the air.

First track of DONARRA's side, "Nostalgie Futuriste", is a surreal sound voyage where are merged Chicago House and Zen atmospheres.
In the culminating Detroit style banger "Rivières Lumineuses", the trippy movements of percussions and synthetic melodies are pure magic.

Dark Entries Editions reissue series continues with a double A-side of the first two Helen maxi singles, 'Witch' and 'Zanzibar', as a 4-song EP. Helen was an Italo disco studio project that consisted of various producers, songwriters, and vocalists from Italy in the 1980s. The first line-up included popular Italo producers Piero Cairo and Massimo Noe, known for their work with Joe Yellow, Den Harrow, Pink Project, and Dharma to name a few. They were joined by prolific Italo session vocalist Elena Ferretti. 'Witch' was originally released in 1983 on Out Records, a label distributed by Discomagic Records. Signature Linndrum and Simmons drums create the driving rhythm track while Elena's powerful vocals tell the haunted tale of a witch and her magic. In 1985 the second incarnation of Helen recorded the song 'Zanzibar'. The vocal version was written by Ennio Ronchelli (Keyboards) and Roberto Barocelli (Guitar, Bass), with singer Daniela Paratici. This line-up was heavily influenced by the 'Afro' movement made popular by DJ Beppe Loda. 'Afro' refers to the Cosmic musical trend of slower disco records featuring African drums and rhythms. The 'Afro Mix' of 'Zanzibar' was produced by DJ Daniele Losi and Roberto Lodola, with additional live hand drums and sticks by Nigerian percussionist George Aghedo. All songs have been remastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The vinyl is housed in the original jacket from the ''Witch'' maxi single, featuring artwork by Elena Feretti. Adam is widely known for his work as one half of production duo - OMNI AM, along with Marky star and counts Derrick Carter and Evil Eddie Richards and a whole host of others, amongst their fans. Adam's release for Giant is titled - DAY2DAY and has all the trademark's of Adam's wonky,
left of feld, slightly of kilter grooves - DAY2DAY builds and snakes itself into a bottom bass heavy House jam - Chicago style keys mould the snare and hats into an infectious work out - with an alien like hook that keeps it all slightly wobbly. The
next cut is from the super talented CARL FINLOW under carl's RANDOM FACTOR guise, a beauty in its own right ! Super tight drums and a punchy RANDOM FACTOR bassline take's this mix on a journey through many shades of electronica - as the track swells nicely with warm atmospheric pads and sprinkles of emotive keys, with an electro style hook that keep's it all swinging in Carl's trademark sound. The next mix is from LA based producer MIEKA DU FRANX. Mieka's mix strips the original
down to the bare essentials and gives it a tuf minimal feel. The last mix is from ECHO OF GLORY, which see's Echo take the track on a Acid tinged work out - adding
dubbed out vocals and super subbed out bass.

12th Release from GIANT RECORDS is from BASEMENT UK - Abian Saavedra and Brando Morales are two young producers that hail from the Canary islands and both have a massive love and respect for the early UK HOUSE & GARAGE sound - hence their name. Their track - GANGSTA - lends itself to the above mentioned sound and could surely stand the test of time among those early classics and it reminds us of an early Grant Nelson Nice&Ripe groove, Wicked swinging drums and hats that all sit comfortably on a low sub bass and spoken word jam. The next mix of GANGSTA is from long time Giant favorite TOM GILLIERON - Tom's mix is dark and twisted with hidden layers that swell and grow through the track - his mix builds and builds with a subtle use of the original vocal which then turns into a trippy late night slice of dark magic - Tom's sound is 100% on the button on this mix - EXCEPTIONAL ! The following mix is from long standing Tech-House master - JAY TRIPWIRE - Jays mix takes us on a 303 Acid ride into a heady state of affairs, twisting and turning the dial until the point of break - a serious peak time killer. The last mix falls on DAVID HOLNESS - keeping the essence of the original but adding more punch and a heavy weight bottom end and sweet Techno pads - that will sure to rock many a dance floor. Following on the heels of the hugely successful Joaquin Joe Claussell Edits & Overdubs Lenny Williams Changes 12” comes another soulful disco 12” monster taken from the eagerly awaited forthcoming Joaquin Joe Clausell’s Edits & Overdubs
Part 2 Double CD + Limited 7” Vinyl coming September 2019. Served up this Nme is another dope Joaquin Joe Claussell Edit & Overdub of the not overly played soulful disco classic Ntled “Come Go with Me” by Pockets. Come Go with Me is an album cut that was never releases on a 12” and is another example of album songs that were a favorite at the Claussell family’s home growing up. This is destined to be another Unofficial Edits & Overdubs Classic.
Due to the winding, down of record sales during the summer months, this will be a Limited Release.

Welcome to the fourth chapter of the ELASTE series!

In this compilation I am progressing a style I am inaugurating: Vintage Futurism. The best metaphor for this genre is Charanjit Singh's 1982 album Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat in which he created a sound which mirrors, but more importantly pre-dates, the first acid house record by five years. It is no novelty record, but truly capturing the hypnotic potential of acid/house music. It became my key track for Elaste Volume 4.

Previous incarnations of Elaste have aimed to catch the spirit of the late 70's Italian Cosmic Discotheque, a place where the history of DJing was rewritten within this microcosm. For this latest instalment I was most intrigued by weird of-the-time (or 'out-of' as the case turned out to be) electronic disco, a vast genre!

Bringing together those progressive avant-garde tracks that were expanding the genres of house, disco, acid, new wave, and ultimately use Elaste as a vehicle to highlight those tracks that were ahead of their time. These legendary works ranges from 1978 to 1996, a wide spectrum of musical history, in which some of the older tracks may sound modern, and newer ones sound may sound vintage.

Many of these authentic back-to-the-aural-future moments were initial sparks for whole genres - Larry Heard´s Disco-D alias happened just before house music. Greg Wilson's 1984 project Equip was produced for a UK Electro compilation, but never made the LP, because it sounded simply too futuristic. Michael Rinder´s Gluttony can't be called Disco any more, not even Post-Disco. For Elaste Vol. 4 we have built Vintage Futurism as a home for these ultramodern mavericks. - Dompteur Mooner

About Dompteur Mooner
Mooner stepped into the limelight as part of Zombie Nation, whose 1999 smash hit 'Kernkraft 400' was signed to DJ Hell's Gigolo label and earned worldwide chart success. As one of the most knowledgeable experts in obscure vintage electronic music, Mooner however decided to do things a little less obvious from that point on: He left Zombie Nation and founded Erkrankung durch Musique, a label dedicated to releasing left-field electronica, from techno to experimental pop, old and new. He also a highly regarded DJ, known for his unmatched record collection and bootleg edits, such as his - Girls Girls Girls' Ep that combined great 80s girl bands as extented edits, or - Greatest Hits', an hommage to dance - orientaed Rock music.

Mooner just finished his fourth chapter of - Elaste', a compilation series for Compost Records that started the Cosmic Disco hype.

We got to know Dan Only, an exciting emerging artist from the Toronto underground, when he collaborated with Jesse Futerman on our recent 'Deep Love 2017 compilation. His debut record, released on Adam Marshall's 'New Kanada' imprint, introduced his deep instinct for electronic music and unique, boundless approach to deep house. An avid collector of old school gear you can hear the analogue warmth throughout this intricately detailed yet heavy hitting four-tracker. 'It's Clear' opens. A solid House jam, its thumping drums and resonating melodies follow a steady bass groove ready to heat up the dance floor. 'Be Major...Believe' leads in more gently before warbling key lines and synth details layer over gritty percussion pushing the mood closer and closer to bursting. This one conjures images of summer nights and distant coast lines. On the B, simmering vocals and tropical rhythms dance amongst straight forward house energies on 'Don't You Understand". Rich with subtleties, it's somehow smooth while seriously impactful. Finally we have 'Truffles". A very modern twist on Disco vs House it's an original Italo infused gem with an edit feel, that maintains the vibe of an 80s era hedonistic night throughout. Perfect as a peak time mood elevator or blissful, hands-in-the-air closing record. We're convinced Dan Only's future is bright and are overwhelmed by the quality and musicality of this, his first solo EP on Dirt Crew Recordings.

Younger Rebinds is a new project and imaginary band by the inimitable and unstoppable Benny Rodrigues. Maybe best-known for his Rod moniker and releases on Klockworks, Rodrigues embodies and keeps the candour, spirit and curiosity that made techno music stand out in its start-up years - and that's exactly what we have here. The "Retro 7 Ep" makes the most of the classic 707 drum machine, gnarly synths, ambient soundscapes, pianos and organs. Done in a way that is as much new wave, as it is electronic disco. Spread out over a double-pack with eight tracks (8!, get it), the Younger Rebinds hit the sweet spot between vintage DJ Hell aesthetics, Sterac Electronics and Trevor Jackson's Metal Dance dogma, if its choir would be muted. Loud pressing and hypnotic artwork included. Please don't look at it for more than 5 minutes.

With their next carefully curated release, the Opilec Music label begins to shine a light on the roots of Italo with the reissue of an ultra rare and obscure synth Italo disco track by A. Avenue from 1984.

This is a special Record Store Day 2016 release and of course, Opilec Music has remastered the original vocal and instrumental versions and here include I-Robots reconstructions and two Flemming Dalum's reworks.

This is a track many labels wanted, but only Opilec Music have been granted official rights to this cult re-release. Originally released on Discover Records, this is the only EP

A. Avenue (aka Dario Ancona and F. Feleppa) ever put out and it now fetches high prices on Discogs. Once you hear the music, you can understand why: The lovably naive and innocent vocal version is seven minutes of cosmic and psychedelic grooves with perfectly retro melodies and pixelated chords that take you into outer space.

Mid tempo drums are full of funk and drive and the two part vocal—one crisp and clean, one filtered and dehumanised—really lend the whole thing a special robot feel that is second to none. As well as a stripped back instrumental, there is a fine I-Robots Reconstruction that is quicker and more driving.

The vocals are also more prominent, soaring up top above reflective synths and rainy xylophone style melodies. It is a real Italo disco gem that is followed by a spacious and tripped out version from Danish DJ and producer Flemming Dalum, who has been devoted to Italo all his life and works with labels like Mothball, Bordello A Parigi and Disco Modernism.
