Zavor proposes his first personal EP on Playful Science focusing his attention on the possible combination of elements and styles coming from his different musical experiences, from mixtures of jazz sounds and synthetic elements to the more marked and hypnotic rhythm.

The fourth installment in John Osborn's DRED RECORDS series will be from fellow UK producer Harsh Puri who goes under the moniker Reformed Society. DRED 004 consists of six tracks in total - three that will appear on the vinyl release, followed by another three that will be digital-only exclusives. Harsh Puri aka Reformed Society debuted in 2015 with this being his sixth consecutive release in order. Harsh's productions caught John's eye, or rather ear, after being sent to him last year and resulted in this release of six solid prime time deep house stompers. Packaged in an understated matte white sleeve with a black and white picture of Brahma (the four headed Hindu god of creation) handstamped on each cover by the label owner himself, this being a continuation of the human skull DRED logo. 'ONE LIFE' opens the 'DIMENSIONS' EP and is the track given to label boss John Osborn for deconstructing and remoulding into his own specific vision - each release will contain a rework from Osborn. If you are familiar with John's previous work you will immediately recognize his characteristic resonating percussion, the tune being a deep house sci-fi storm expedition driven by a full luscious kick covering the tracks of chords from unsettled pads. The EP's title track has ambient sonic rays flowing through it, being aptly named 'DIMENSIONS' - it is also the record's warmest adventure; distorted percussion juggles sparse subaqueous melodic moments, and from here we go into the 12s final moment, 'CHASING TITANOID". Reformed Society goes in with full yet silent force on this one. A warped bassline co-creates the groove with a particularly bouncy beat with sharp strings piercing though.

Cahoots Records continues to bring new house sound to light with respect to the past influences that have shaped it's history.  Volume 6 continues the Cahoots tradition of combining 4 striking house trax on one record. 

HOOTS006 kicks off by way of Harrison BDP, a young talent from the UK.  'Sole' packs the right amount of driving bass, spacey pads and aerial vocal moments, topped with an old school-tinged groove. 

A2 moves into firmer territory as Cahoots welcomes another U.S. artist to the roster, Jackson Ryland.  A talented producer and DJ, Jackson has performed at Cahoots Records events in New York and in his hometown of Washington, D.C. Ryland's 'Don't Rush Me' mixes a shuffling groove with hard hitting bass that tastefully challenges the routine four-to-the-floor flow.

Heat Vibes raises the temperature on the B-side with some raw and heavy house straight from Mexico City. 'Mind Rek' conjures up mind-blowing bass and drums that only Heat Vibes can deliver. The track's use of distorted sounds and straight-forward rhythms dish out serious attitude. 

Volume 6 closes out on a high note as Cahoots welcomes its first NYC artist, Greco. A talented producer and DJ, Greco has performed at Cahoots parties in NYC and maintains a busy touring schedule with gigs around the US and abroad. Greco's 'Dub In This Life' merges organ stabs, sweeping synths and a jacking groove with an old school New York flair.

We're all up for gathering friends, moments and feelings, therefore that's exactly what we did in order to come up with the script for the latest episode of "Tzinah on Black" series.
On our freshest release, Tzinah Family is represented by Adrianho with a laid-back afterhours tune, all dressed up in a moody atmosphere that floats on the dancefloor, bringing up lovable childhood flashbacks when we hear "Music through ages".
We're happy to see our crew evolve and grow bigger with the likes of two veteran artists - one of Netherland's best underground exports- U-More and, none other than NG Trax chief shaman - Nima Gorji. Mumbled "Sentences", percussive-rich rhythms and a deliciously sublime low-end dictate the flow of Nima Gorji's trip on Side A, while the odd textures and magic sonic elements are floating in space-time with U-More's "Aurora" on the B-side.
The story of our third V.A. is not finished yet, as Posh111 marks the first appearance on Tzinah Records, his sound guiding us through a thumping bassline and meticulous construction that are giving life to "Neagrade".

On the flip side, Han delivers a tool with layered hi-hats and percussions accompanied by futuristic sounds that create a solid groove to keep you locked in.

The Japanese-inspired Sentaku label pays tribute to its influences by signing Dixia Sirong for its first release. The Asia-based duo cooked up some tasty and hovering minimal house with clear references and sonorities from the Land of the rising sun. Full of funky flavours with some heavy and contagious basslines, 'Araki Murashige' EP communicates Dixia Sirong's distinctive sound to perfection. The four tracks deliver some hypnotic set of beats well-suited to lure the dancefloor into a special astral journey. With this scintillating atmosphere and the multiple layers and textures those tracks make this EP perfect to get the crowd to start moving or for some post-peak deepness!

Outstrip present their second release on their own label Outstrip Wax, a vinyl only project that launched at the tail end of last year. The Ukrainian duo bring punchy, club-focused house with a subtle, lightness of touch to 4-tracker Booben EP.
Title track 'Booben' is stripped back house, featuring swirling synths and squelchy beats. Fuse affiliate Seb Zito provides a cracking remix of Outstrip's 'Salat', opting for a low slung, hypnotic rhythm that permeates the brain. On the flipside, 'Pravak' is all tight percussion matched with a trippy, spaced out melody that will keep dance floor's moving long after peak hour. On remix duty, the highly underrated French-producer, Okain, accentuates the tracks trippier elements around broken beats and stuttered drum patterns.

GIANT RECORDS see's in the new year with a killer EP from a bright new producer from Poland - by the name of - MARIUZ KRYSKA - Mariuz offers up two peak time grooves here with remix duties falling on - SASCHA DIVE and GIANT head honcho GRANT DELL. The first track up is LOW JAM, which see's
the original mix dive into a deep drum lead swing - reminiscent of old Todd Terry beats, that have gone before, all topped off with a spoken word and tight hats and rides.

002.1 harvests energy from the crisp and simple kick pattern to break the steady rhythm into scarce drum rolls and haunting tones. Side B chooses the same phonic road. 002.2 shares Vincentiulian's minimalistic approach: visceral on the low frequency spectrum, a perfect foundation for the somehow familiar theme. 002.3 deconstructs even more, using as little resources as it can get: shadow like reverbs, glued together in a sketch that invites your mind in a twisted hide 'n seek game.

Dilated Pupils is a collective group of likeminded friends home-based in the Netherlands. Visionquest's Special Editions series returns this July with RILLS' 'You'll Never Be Alone', comprising four originals from the Italian artist. Turin's RILLS has been steadily gaining a strong following over the decade with his tracks being played the likes of Ar:Pi:Ar's Raresh, Daniel Bell, Dyed Soundorom and Cassy, and finding a home on imprints such as 8Bit, In Haus Wax and Esperanza. Here we see RILLS join the roster of Visionquest's vinyl only offshoot label, Special Editions, following material from Jorge Savoretti, Konrad Black and Quilla.
'Zorlak' opens the package and sets the tone of raw and dubby via murky atmospherics, swirling chord sequences and a swinging rhythmic drive, 'Yoda' follows and retains a similarly swung drum groove whilst introducing spaced out, unfolding pads across the composition.
'Stranger Freaks' kicks off the B-Side of the release, stripping things back to bumpy drums, heady resonant synth swells and hypnotic tension buildings drones before 'Paper Beatz' rounds out the package with smooth deep pads, modulating synth stabs and shuffling hats. RILLS' 'You'll Never Be Alone' is out on Visionquest Special Editions 7th July 2017.

Emanuele Luzzi, the man behind Onirico ("Stolen Moments") and Oneiric ("Blue Envelope"), comes back with one exclusive unreleased track, composed at the time of "A Tone Colour Of Onirico" (1992). Due to the hypnotic strings sample and emotional MiniMoog solo, "Aurora" hits the target at first listening, reminding happy sounds from that period. Man-D.A. - Calling 313 : This track was conceived in 1992, during a very prolific period when he was remixing songs by Juan Atkins, Underground Resistance, Blake Baxter for the legendary UMM label and the Detroit influence is evident ! remastered for Flash Forward. Julien Sandre and Mennie return under their Jarau guise this January with the 'Saturn System' EP, set for release via Visionquest's Special Edition sub-label. France's Julian Sandre and Italy's Mennie have both individually carved out quite the career over the past decade with the former racking up releases on BlindBox, Franck Roger's Home Invasion and E Wax amongst others, and the latter holding a residency at Tenax club in Italy and collaborating togheter on releases for Poker Flat and Housewax of late, 2017 also saw their collaborative debut as Jarau which came courtesy of the revered PLEASURE ZONE imprint.

Now returning for their second EP under this new guise the pair join the roster of Visionquest Special Edition with 'Saturn System' and taking the lead is 'Le Voyage', a snaking journey through billowing synth swells, jangling percussive chimes and organic drums before 'Dubhe' strips the vibe back to modulating resonant synths, shuffled stripped-back rhythms and lumpy sub bass tones.

'Adrienne' opens the flip side with the focus on a swinging drum groove as airy atmospherics ebb and flow throughout. 'Hypnotize' then rounds out the package and as the name would suggest relies on subtle nuances to draw you deeper and deeper into the intricately programmed percussion and smoothly blooming synth flourishes.
