Out of print for over 10 years, Fearless is re-issuing At The Drive-In's seminal album In/Casino/Out on limited coloured vinyl. Fan-favourite In/Casino/Out contains their much-performed tracks "Transatlantic Foe" and "Alpha Centauri", and sparked the band's rapid rise to prominence. The vinyl (colour TBC) will be limited to 1500 copies with a run exclusive to Europe. The release follows the announcement of the band's reunion, the quintet's appearances at both weekends of the Coachella Festival, Fuija Rock, Benicassim and Reading & Leeds Festivals will be their first live appearances since At The Drive-In announced their hiatus in 2001. A House Safe For Tigers is the soundtrack to one of the seven TV movies Lee Hazlewood made with the director Torbjörn Axelman during his period living in Sweden in the early 1970s. Hazlewood had moved there to lay low and to help his son avoid the draft, but wound up finding happiness and creative freedom. Many of the albums recorded in Sweden made their way no further than Scandinavia, but of them all, A House Safe For Tigers is the holy grail for collectors, often changing hands for hundreds of dollars.
*Originally only available in Sweden, this marks the first time Tigers has been reissued and available the world over. The movie was a 'semi-documentary' featuring Hazlewood and his friend Axelman, looking back to childhood and contemplating the meaning of life. In it, Hazlewood runs a marathon, tells anecdotes about a bum who cured his stutter and convinces a group of Swedish children to take sides against Richard Nixon. 'It's strange, very strange,' Hazlewood said, 'But we meant it to be strange.

Janko Nilovic is a pianist, poet and composer extraordinaire from Montenegro who has lived in France since 1960. He is one of those musicians who devote themselves to music fanatically. This resulted in a great number of published works, but most of them are on library labels not available for sale. His opus stretches from Classical, Jazz and Funk to Pop, Psyche and Easy Listening. He touches all these styles in a characteristic way.

Big Brother & The Holding Company might best be known for being the first band Janis Joplin sung in, a live recording like this one shows their prowess as a five-piece band. Their June 23, 1968 show at the Carousel Ballroom would prove to be legendary on a number of levels. The venue was owned by members of Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead and would later become the Fillmore West. Janis would leave the band only two months after the show to pursue her solo career, making this one of the last times the ensemble worked together. The show was recorded by Augustus Owsley Stanley III , a.k.a. 'Bear', soundman of The Grateful Dead and a masterful LSD-cooker, who also supervised the re-mastering of the recordings shortly before his death in March 2011. This is to be the first in a series of releases from his archive titled 'Bear's Sonic Archive', and it promises to be one hell of a ride. Though some of these songs have appeared on a 1972 Janis Joplin collection before in a very raw form, this is the first time these recordings are being released on vinyl. Dedicated to Bear, this live performance is a more than welcome addition to the Big Brother catalogue!

Flying Horseman is the band of singer-songwriter Bert Dockx. This selection of Antwerp's top musicians creates bloodcurdlingly beautiful albums and live shows. Think in terms of menacing post-folk and dark blues, with the emotional depth and soul-lacerating atmosphere that characterises Flying Horseman. Music is rarely given such a keen edge.
Flying Horseman will release their second studio album "Twist" on Unday Records (whose artists also include Yuko). For this album the band worked with producer Koen Gisen (who has also worked with bands such as Bony King Of Nowhere). Twist has become a dark romantic album, sultry and ghost-ridden, the ultimate soundtrack of the night. It builds on the atmospheric roots rock of the previous album, Wild Eyes, but its patterning is lush and its orchestration subtle by comparison. Influences such as Joy Division, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Bill Callahan, Talk Talk and The Velvet Underground come to mind and illustrate the cloth this band is cut from.
Debut album Wild Eyes has introduced this intriguing band to huge critical acclaim both in Belgium and abroad. Twist represents another bold throw of the dice.

In this highly anticipated reunion with Brian Eno (Bowie recorded his 'Berlin Trilogy' with Eno), The Long Thin Duke tells us the story of Nathan Adler, as he investigates 'The Ritual Art-Murder of Baby Grace Blue: A Non-Linear Gothic Drama Hyper-Cycle'. It's a dystopian piece, a portrayal of the end of the world, and what better time to re-release it than in the last year of the Mayan calendar Bowie and Eno recorded the album during improvised sessions, in which Eno would hand out flashcards as a guiding light. But the light was always distorted, and would for example ask the musicians to imagine they were 'the disgruntled member of a South African Rock band. Play the notes that were suppressed.'The original 1995 release had a very limited vinyl run, and because of that this has always been a very much sought after album. Music On Vinyl is doubly proud that this is their 500th release, it also contains a beautiful 8-page booklet filled with notes from Nathan Adler's diary...

'I'm not a girlie-girl,' claims Madi Poncia, sitting before me with an armful of body art, a nose stud and Dr Marten boots. The founder and front person of Brighton-based punk-pop/new wave band Dear Prudence is a disarming mix of feisty noir-ish pop songstress and charming girl-next-door. At her side are Rick Ahir (guitar/backing vocals), Alexis Nunez (drums), Paul Egan (bass/backing vocals) and Andy Highmore (keyboards).

'I got into Siouxsie, The Cure, Depeche Mode at school,' Madi says. 'Everyone else was listening to chart music and I was looking for something different. Those groups struck a chord with me. Their legacies are such an inspiration.'
Madi has an extraordinary, spellbinding voice, a giant, soulful siren that crackles with heartbreak and sadness, irony and elation. Lyrically, the songs have a bittersweet, lovelorn feel, a fact that Madi ascribes to events in her personal life. 'Songwriting is a form of escape for me. I grew up in a very quiet coastal town where I'd spend hours imagining the future. As I got older songwriting also became a way of dealing with the difficulties of things like love and loss.'

Powerful and dark, their recordings have a modern, mainstream pop flavour, underpinned with a strong undercurrent of moody '80s electro. It subtly reflects other inspirations, too, such as Pulp, Blur and The Smiths, and more recently Biffy Clyro, Lower Than Atlantis and Twin Atlantic.

Clearly a band with big ambitions, Dear Prudence is named after the '80s version of the song by Madi's heroes, Siouxsie and The Banshees. 'I love Siouxsie Sioux's dark glamour and feisty attitude,' Madi explains. 'I really admire her.' Bright, bold and beautiful Madi has an endearing charm and confidence that's likely to draw a crowd of her own female admirers, as well as cement her allure for a male audience. With their debut album due and a hunger to get out on the road, 2012 looks set to be a very exciting year.

Slaves and Masters is the thirteenth studio album by Deep Purple, and was released in 1990. Deep Purple went through more than their share of personnel changes over the years. In 1990, their lineup consisted of guitarist Ritchie Blackmore (who had returned to the Purple fold in 1984 after leaving the band to form Rainbow following the release of Stormbringer in November 1974), singer Joe Lynn Turner(who was once the lead singer of Rainbow), keyboardist/organist Jon Lord, drummer Ian Paice, and bassist Roger Glover. Longtime Purple followers where more than happy with the return of Blackmore. 'King Of Dreams,' 'The Cut Runs Deep,' and 'Fire In The Basement' are all classic Deep Purple tracks. Blackmore's guitar solos and Lord's keyboard runs harp back to the Deep Purple of old.The album sounds like a cross between a Rainbow and a Deep Purple album. Designed as the perfect vehicle to showcase her powerful vocals, Janis Joplin's Pearl was released after the singer's death in 1970.

She never got to record the vocals for "Buried Alive In The Blues", but she did manage to create gems such as Kris Kristofferson's "Cry Baby" and "Mercedez Benz" and her signature song "Me And Bobby McGee", which became a posthumous number one hit.

Pearl shows Janis at her best, and leaves the listener wanting more… Audio sourced from the original master tapes and with meticulously recreated artwork!

Rock n Roll Animal is a live album by American musician Lou Reed, released in February 1974 by RCA Records. In its original form, it features five songs, four of which are songs by the Velvet Underground. The album was recorded live on December 21, 1973, at Howard Stein's Academy of Music in New York City.
