Opéra de Nuit emerge from their long slumber to grace Dark Entries with the frostiest of reissues. Formed in 1982 in Valréas in the southeast of France, Opéra de Nuit only released 3 records throughout their career: EPs in 1984 and 1986, with a full LP following in 1988. But devotees of dark music will need no introduction to this band, who are almost definitional of the coldwave genre, and whose rabid cult following has each record readily trading for three-digit prices. Opéra de Nuit’s sound is pure hellish heaven: frigid synths, jangly guitars, and sorrow-laden vox. Check out the pummelling desperation of “Annabella,” the uber-brooding vibes of “Boris Transylvania Camp,” or the elegant anthem “Karen Lloyd” (and don’t forget to watch the video!). This reissue collects their entire newly remastered discography - thirteen lucky tracks. This reissue marks the first time that their work will be reissued on vinyl and digital, and is presented in gatefold jacket with lyrics and photos. Trondheim's progressive flagship Arabs in Aspic delivers yet another long-awaited release on the renowned label Karisma Records, marking their strong partnership with the brand-new studio album "Sorgens kapittel". This will be a highly special and emotional release for the band. The album is being released on what would have been the 50th birthday of the band's longtime organist and vocalist, Stig Arve Kvam-Jorgensen, who passed away suddenly in 2025. The album title "Sorgens kapittel" sets a deep and personal frame around the band's newest work, serving both as a processing of the loss and a tribute to his musical legacy.

A limited 45, lifting two of the most transportive moments from Manifest, the fifth studio album from BALTHVS, and pressing them together on a standalone 7". "Eternal Flow" closes Side A of the LP, a slow-building groove that became the lead single of the album campaign. "Pale Blue Dot" opens Side B, a meditation on smallness and the cosmos that stretches out over nearly five minutes.
BALTHVS is the Colombian trio of guitarist and producer Balthazar Aguirre, bassist Johanna Mercuriana, and drummer Santiago Lizcano. Over five years the band has amassed more than 140 million streams, performed in over 26 countries, earned a Libera Awards nomination, and appeared at Electric Forest, Austin City Limits, Outside Lands, Lollapalooza, Jam Cruise, and SXSW Sydney. Manifest, out 10/9/2026, marks their most adventurous work to date, reaching past psychedelic rock into drum and bass, Ethio-jazz, and trip hop.
This 7" is a collector's companion to that album, not a reissue of it. Both sides are drawn from the LP sequence and paired here as a standalone 45 for the shops and the heads who chase the format. Limited to 300 copies worldwide. The band supports the release with a US fall tour running October 8 through 25.

The group's goal was, "Let's go back to melodic tunes, let's be more of a proper rock band," Hozie explains. Sonically, the band aimed for "this late '80's/ early 90's Stone Roses- meets- Janes Addiction thing, with more riffing and guitar solos." Where the band's earlier material took a more explicitly sociopolitical bent, Hozie and Belfilgio's writing on 'All Inside Aquarium' is deliberately more concerned with the personal, poetics, and play. With each single from the album, the band have created a limited edition 7" singles series. Each 7" has a unique colour and individual exclusive artwork that corresponds to a section of the 'All Inside Aquarium' album cover designed by Nikki. BODEGA, passionate defenders of the lost art of curating B- sides, made sure that each disc comes with an exclusive B- side track that's not available digitally, or on the album. Emerging from New York's subterranean trenches, Content Blocks reflect the infrastructure of their environs through dark, prophetic future-punk songcraft. They present their true first full-length effort in Hard Out, a collection of cybernetic experimental punk through the bleak lens of ourtechnology-drenched existence. The attitude conveys the frustration of contemporary living, sonically reflective of the cold materiality and unsympathetic architecture prevalent in today's New York.

With Parallel Commutator, released via Turkish imprint Oroator, CZN presents two extended compositions, each unfolding over fifteen minutes. The project brings together percussionist and sculptor Joao Pais Filipe, composer and drummer Valentina Magaletti, and producer Leon Marks in a practice where percussion is approached as both instrument and material.

Elderberry Jak was and is arguably the finest rock band to come out
West Virginia. It is certainly an arguable case if its single album is an accurate indicator, as the recording reveals a quartet as strong as any number of its more well-known, more commercially successful hard
rock contemporaries--bands such as Free, the James Gang, the
Guess Who, and Three Dog Night--all with which Elderberry Jak shared a variety of sonic attributes. The band came together in the fall of 1969, with bass player Dave Coombs and lead vocalist Joe Cerisano (Silver Condor, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) as its co-founders. The two had previously played together in Coombs' outfit J.B. and the Bonnevilles
. The Bonnevilles formed in 1965 and developed over the next few years into the most outstanding and popular group in the entire state of West Virginia. Upon the demise of J.B. and the Bonnevilles in 1969,
the duo formed a new unit called Kaboose, which lasted seven months. Then, with the addition of Tom Nicholas on guitar and Joe Hartman behind the drum kit, they became Elderberry Jak, named after the elderberry wine made by an uncle of Coombs. The quartet had soon become a powerful unit, mixing hard-driving rock with invigoratingly tight funk. The band traveled throughout their home states, Ohio and Pennsylvania, for performances, eventually earning a record deal with
Kenny's brother Leland Rogers in Memphis. The result was the first-
rate Long Overdue, released in 1970

Former members of COWARD, an instrumental math rock quartet from Columbia, Missouri, Mikey Wheeler, Nathan Driskill, and Cody Mains began developing new material with former FAMINES bandmate Matt Cole in the summer of 2024. Dense, angular riffs underscore dynamic arrangements. Delicate melodies soften harsh edges. Core themes of death and loss juxtaposed against brief glimpses of acquiescence and hope... The GIFT HORSE sound searches for cracks in the dark where the light can come through. ABSENCE, recorded between June of 2025 and June of 2026, was produced, mixed, and mastered by Ian Dobyns at Element Studios in Kansas City, Kansas and Pachyderm Studios in Cannon Falls, Minnesota.

For their eagerly awaited third album, the Parisian trio Howlin' Jaws have teamed up with Swedish producer Kalle Gustafsson Jerneholm (bassist with The Soundtrack Of Our Lives and producer for Foals, The Hives, Jose Gonzalez and Junip) and have taken a major step forward, affirmingthe universal appeal of their explosive yet elegant psych-rock. This new album, Living The Dream, crystallises just about everything we'd ever dreamt of hearing from Howlin' Jaws. Here, more than ever, their dreams take the form of unifying choruses, transforming grief ("Troubled Mind") or separation ("Do What You Gonna Do", "So Sorry") into genuine bursts of hope. Rich in texture (with the Omnichord and Mellotron featuring on the spellbinding "Miss You" and the twilight-tinged "Up On The Roof" respectively) and in wit (led by the biting "Living The Dream"), the eleven-track album is equally diverse in its range of influences. Disco looms large on "Terminal Buzz", country creeps in on "Sunset Laundromat", whilst the fiery "Maximum Speed" is a joyful reminder of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard's trippy flights of fancy. The trio are stunning when they're in full swing, but just as impressive when they slow the tempo down. Behind its layers of cosmic keyboards, "Time Has Come" immediately sets the scene and subtly invites introspection. Like an echo at the end of the journey, "That Kind of Pain" rubs shoulders with the stars of the French Touch (the Air school), letting the strings of the Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra burst forth amidst its melancholic swells. All in all, whether he simmers his albums like an omelette or a beef bourguignon, Howlin' Jaws proves he's never short of imagination.

23. Oktober 2026 erscheint das außergewöhnliche Akustikalbum mit 17 Songs, die mehr als drei Jahrzehnte
Bandgeschichte in überraschend neuem Klang präsentieren.
Statt ihre Klassiker lediglich leiser zu spielen, haben In Extremo Stücke wie „Spielmannsfluch“, „Frei
zu sein“, „Störtebeker“, „Liam“ und „Feine Seele“ komplett neu arrangiert. Swing, Rockabilly, Ska, Reggae und osteuropäische Einflüsse treffen auf historische Instrumente und den unverwechselbaren Sound der
erfolgreichsten Mittelalter-Rockband der Welt. Eingespielt wurde das Album in einem kleinen Studio in
Dornbirn – live, unmittelbar und mit viel Raum für spontane musikalische Ideen.

La Dispute is an American post-hardcore band formed in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2004. The band consists of vocalist Jordan Dreyer, guitarist Chad Sterenberg, drummer Brad Vander Lugt, bassist Adam Vass, and guitarist Corey Stroffolino. Known for their intense and emotionally charged sounds, La Dispute has released five studio albums to critical acclaim, including “Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair” (2008), “Wildlife” (2011), and “Panorama” (2019). Their music often explores themes of loss, grief, and human relationships through a series of interconnected stories. La Dispute has developed a devoted fanbase and is known for their powerful, unforgettable live performances.
