Construction in situ uses raw materials at the site: colossal sculptures such as Naqsh-e Rustam, the Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Rushmore were built in this fashion.

Mittlerweile ist ein Jahr seit "Gott liebt die Geduldigen", dem letzten Release von Jaysus, vergangen. Als
letztes musikalisches Lebenszeichen hinterließ der deutsche Rapper griechischer Abstammung der
Öffentlichkeit das polarisierende Musikvideo "Tag des dümmsten Gesichts", das nichts Anderes als einen
amtlichen Diss seines alten Weggefährten Kay One darstellte. Offensichtlich war der Clip genau die richtige
Inspiration und Motivation für Jaysus, mit der Arbeit an "Sünde" zu beginnen, dem inzwischen sechsten
Album des in Stuttgart heimisch gewordenen Wortakrobaten. Denn was soll man sagen - Jaysus hat Blut
geleckt, und genau diese Haltung spiegelt sich in seinen neuen Stücken wider. Konsequent, kompromisslos
und schonungslos teilt Jasyus aus und gibt seiner aufgestauten Wut Raum zur Entfaltung. Das 17 Tracks
starke Album kommt in zwei Versionen auf den Markt. Die "Standard Edition" erscheint als Doppel-CD

Hintergrund: Zwischen 1917 und 1932 veröffentlichte Paramount von Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Ma
Rainey, Blind Lemon Jefferson und Johnny Dodds über Jimmy Blythe, Jaybird Coleman, Blind Blake und
Ethel Waters bis zu Alberta Hunter, Papa Charlie Jackson, Fletcher Henderson, King Oliver, Buddy Boy
Hawkins, Fats Waller und Coleman Hawkins das Who is who der afroamerikanischen Musiker. Nun bringt
das Label Third Man all diese Künstler wieder zu Gehör, und zwar in einer fantastischen Premium-Edition, die

The Space Lady began her odyssey on the streets of San Francisco in the late 70s, playing versions of contemporary pop music an accordion and dressed flamboyantly, transmitting messages of peace and harmony.
Following the theft of her accordion, The Space Lady invested in a then-new Casio keyboard, birthing an otherworldly new dimension to popular song that has captured the imaginations of the underground and its lead exponents ever since, with the likes of John Maus, Erol Alkan and Kutmah being devotees.

Of her early street sets, only one recording was made, self-released originally on cassette and then transferred to a home-made CD. "The Space Lady's Greatest Hits"(LSSN021) features the best of these recordings - mostly covers but with some originals - pressed on vinyl for the first time and features archival photographs and liner notes from The Space Lady herself. 'Greatest Hits' contains The Space Lady's personal favourites; her haunting take on The Electric Prunes' 'I Had Too Much To Dream (Last Night),' a frantic 'Ballroom Blitz' amidst other reconstructed pop music. Included are also 4 originals that easily match for the Pop canon. Following the release of this archive, The Space Lady will be issuing new material and travelling the world to present her message outside the United States for the first time.

In the mid 90s The Space Lady packed away her Casio synth and silenced her distinctive voice, retiring from the streets of San Francisco. Now, more than 30 years after her initial forays on Haight Ashbury, she has surfaced with the first ever official release of her timeless, startling music and, even more remarkably, has re-started her live career. Now in Colorado, The Space Lady continues to spread her message of peace, harmony and love.

Now imagine, if you will, some of this Eastern European brew sprinkled with a little bit of afro spice and then blended with a massive dose of classic heavyweight Stateside funk and you'll have some idea of what Dokkerman & The Turkeying Fellaz (D&TTF) are all about.

The nine piece band, lead by drummer Peter Zimon, contains a tight rhythm section, a tight horn section and the ability to lay down a bad-ass groove - which collectively results in a raw and dirty old-school sound that recalls the funky golden era of the '60s and '70s. And yet the band also has that which differentiates it from the likes of Ikebe Shakedown or the Menahan Street Band in singer Gabor "The Flame" Hoffer whose chants offer added Magyar rawness.
