Mike Storm is one of the true exponents of cosmic and advanced techno, his relentless output has seen the light on the best labels around and has been a favorite for dj's like Jeff Mills and Oscar Mulero to name but a few.

In his first output in our label, both physically and digitally he offers a total of five cuts, four on wax and five on files.

His sound has not changed during the years, always pulsating, cosmic and abstract. With a high BPM rate and continuous and unpredictable structures and arrangements.

This is the soundtrack of a cosmic voyage out there where there is no atmosphere nor barriers, the music score of a timeless space adventure.

Skillful dj's will love this work, perfect to be use as layering tools or to stand on their own as proper club tracks.

Definitely not for everyone this is an a-temporal statement on how proper techno should be.

Hamburg-based, Stimming and Dave DK have built their experience through uncountable tracks and performances. Turning the lights off and playing it loud is what they are best known for. On this special occasion, painting the vinyl specially dark is what they were desiring and the frame brings together two superb tracks: Frankfurt Main and Saida222.

Stimming has built in a sneaky percussion with an enormous engaging touch. Buoyed up by a textured bass, Frankfurt Main reaches the center of what an in-depth track aims to be.

Saida222 takes us on a contemplative, introspective and melodic journey, a route usually explored by Dave DK in his previous and acclaimed works.

Both tracks are pushing a refreshing and windy vision that, far beyond from being "just obscure", gets us closer to a wise enlightening experience.

This time Repeat Repeat Repeat is bringing you a Darragh Casey release which was originally released in 2010 on the Irish Antiqua Recordings. Listening to the whole material one is soon wondering why this artist hasn't released more music. Xuri EP features a nice mix of darker and lightsome sounds which is topped by a superb Kris Wadsworth remix. Darragh, it's time to get back in the studio!

Savage Grounds return to the never ending warpath with their new EP "Body Weight Compressor". After a one-year break, which was used to collect ideas, machines and material, they are releasing six titles with brooding melodies, sounds from the factory, diystopian texts and authoritative marches. Technoindigenous Studies is the newest outlet of producer/composer Gabriel Reyes-Whittaker, aka Gifted & Blessed, serving as a platform for his many alter egos and side projects. As the name implies, Technoindigenous Studies is the union of modern musical technology with the ways and intentions of the ancestors.

The first release on the label is from one of Gabriel's lesser known monikers, The Reflektor. We know The Reflektor as half of the west coast electro funk duo POLY, and since then he released an EP with Kyle Hall's Wild Oats label titled Las Ruinas Mayas, which paid homage to the ancient Mayans. This new EP, simply titled Taíno, is a tribute to his own indigenous Caribbean ancestors. Each of the 4 track titles is taken from the Taíno language. Call it techno, electro, music to move to, whatever you wish. There's room for your own personal interpretation. That's what makes the Gifted & Blessed sound what it is.

Donnerstag. In German, day of Thor, the Scandinavian god of Thunder, where the strength of this curious EP lies. This vinyl travels along a path of different textures of sound and style. Starting with Mirnha's -the label's founder-dancefloor techno to open a second door to Omar Amo's -AKA Magoo- groovy techno. The B side delights us with touches of excellent acid by Diego Cid (ARG). Both artists are members of the notorious group "Urban Groove", which has edited in solid labels such as Kumquat Records, Illegal Alien Records, Beathey Recordings, among others. The disc tops off with progressive techno in charge of Lucas Vazz (CL) -Inherencia's resident- impregnated with fine and cosmic Berliner sounds."

Otherworldy sounds on Boulderhead's Craigie Knowes debut. 3 space-age mutations that traverse the space between techno, minimal, and breaks.

David Temessi is back on Neuhain, after his last solo EP in 2018 he has supported Marco Ginelli and Kamil Van Derson for his new release.

In addition to an original version of "Function", there are also remixes by Atze Ton, who recently shone with publications on DSR Digital or miniTek Records, the Hamburg-based Claas Herrmann and Domla Records label boss Dolby D.

After debuting on Mr. G's Phoenix G imprint in 2016 with the Unfamiliar Territory EP, Jayson Wynters makes an appearance on DBA for this, his second release, backed by a Kowton remix.

Jayson Wynters is a DJ that is able to combine many genres in one set and make it work. Wynters was first known as a garage MC in Birmingham, before rising to prominence in the city's underground radio and club scene, where he showcased an impressive knowledge of rare groove and house music. As he got older his taste for music began to mature, his collection began to grow, and he soon began to DJ. Using music as an outlet for expression, whether in the form of DJing or having fun on some drum machines and synths, is one of the most defining features to Wynters. He continues to fuel his passion by keeping an eye on the future rather than the past and striving to remain different.

Over the past few years, the Techno world has seen the incredible rise of a young Brazilian artist, Marcal. Having released on some of the most heavyweight record labels on the scene such as RSPX, Uncage, Sam Paganini's JAM, Ramon Tapia's Say What? and now on Suara - his music is quite rightly occupying the highest positions in the charts with support from the likes of Amelie Lens, Richie Hawtin, Marco Faraone, Charlotte de Witte, Enrico Sangiuliano, Len Faki, Monika Kruse, Adam Beyer and beyond.

Across 2 x 12 inch 180g vinyl, ‘Time Is What A Clock Reads’ showcases just how accomplished a producer Marcal has already become. Intelligent drum programming, considered synthwork and choice sampling make for eight tracks of blistering techno that are destined to cause serious damage on the dancefloor. The music speaks for itself - there is no doubt that we are witnessing the growth of a star.

Comprising Marco Simioni, Mattero Mazreku, and Francesco Pio Nitti, Qualia are a group of Italian producers who have never met in person. Due to the covid pandemic, they had to colaborate in the cloud, yet the results are impressively coherent.

Having previously released records on Detroit Underground and fellow Utrecht label 030303 between them, they arrive on U-Trax in April 2022 with their eponymous EP of four deep tracks taking influence from a range of genres, including acid-techno, ambient, noise, and beyond.

Leading the release, 'Perception' brings beautiful strings, funky 808 drums and acid tones for a deep and moving opener. The track clearly reveals the inspiration Qualia got for this release from the early Gescom releases. Stretched across the A2 is the ambient bliss of 'VV Cephei A', which brings Boards of Canada-esque drones and tones.
On the flip, the title track 'Qualia' brings a headsy dose of braindance to the mix, recalling the early experiments of Aphex Twin with merciless 303 squelches and distant reverberations. Closing track 'Until I Break Apart' leads with dark, moody strings before a pounding kick introduces a stark tempo shift before deep ambient atmospheres engulf the final minutes.

The musical exchange between Paul Rose (Scuba) and Luke Slater began last summer when the Hotflush boss put his touch to Slater’s 1997 classic ‘Love’, dedicating it to London’s Kings Cross raving institution Bagleys, where he first heard the track. Slater’s gift back to Scuba is similarly stirring, taking his hand to the glistening This Is For You’, an early 2020 highlight.

The ‘Luke Slater Long Version’ serves as a proper electronic jam session charting a course from dubby techno climes, to ecstatic string-laden builds, jazzy introspection and dreamy pads over a thrilling 22 minutes. Epic in every way.

Starting off with his collaboration with Jules & Jesaya +4 BPM edit of heavyweights Âme's 119 BPM, where hefty, pumping low end and slick, rigorous hats set the pace for a brutal but sexy bassline guaranteed to demolish any dance floor at any moment. Jimi Jules & Domenico Ferrari's 'Parkuhr' follows up with a focus on slick, low slung minimalism as a seemingly simple groove is highlighted with playful vocals, wobbly sonic effects and a real life conversation interjected as the break.

Changing gears, Jules takes a dive into the past on his remix of Egopusher's 'Flake' where cinematic storytelling and flickers of Italo Disco seem to blend seamlessly creating a timeless composition that will shine for an eternity to come. For the final cut of the EP, Jimi takes us back to a place we seem to know him best on his remix of Ed Ed & Petja Virikko's 'Sundroina feat Jinadu' where he creates wildly sexy cuts with his signature organic percussion palette, lavish keys and starry eyed vocals.

Cymbol is the brainchild of a twisted mind-meld specialising in various forms of sonic manipulation via techno and fragmented electro. Formed in 2001 by former members of Wave 7 as a reaction to the generic club music of the era, their style is a fusion of intense polyrhythms and intricate synthesis composed with a combination of software and electronics ranging from harmonic electro soundscapes through to dissonant 'baby in the blender' doom montages.

Continuing with our ‘Limited As Fuck’ series of 12”s, Cymbol have come out of the shadows to unleash their first full release on the label after appearing on our ‘STAY TUNED Sampler Vol. I’ V/A triple vinyl album with ‘Transient’ a couple years ago.

Back from the wilderness. Synth in one hand, long-range camera in the other, techno's most enduring naturist Eulberg returns to Stephan Bodzin's Herzblut.

'Mimikry & Mimese' is every fathom as deep as you'd hope it to be... Both sonically, conceptually and how they draw their influence.

‚Mimikry' is classic Eulberg, several tales bound together into one immersive narrative where melodic phrases that at first appear disparate, gradually correlate with each other by way of delicately placed rhythmic elements and FX. With spiked melodic hooks, the elements display signs of danger, but the heart and soul - like all Eulberg tracks - is warm and friendly.

'Mimese' takes a similar twist to 'Mimikry' in that the melodic arrangement is based on distinct themes that gradually align, morph and complement each other. Deftly developed over a looser drum arrangement with much denser cosmic pads, its yet another unique story told in Eulberg's inimitable way.

Two whirling immersive narratives, two camouflage concepts that reveal, upon closer inspection, that all is not what it seems. Eulberg's adventures into the wilderness continue...

Having been one of the most in demand names across Europe and even further afield for quite some time now, KETTAMA has his sights set on cementing his status as an electronic big hitter entering 2021. Emerging from a crowded crop of producers in Ireland and in turn putting the country on notice to a crowd of hungry ravers and fans, his new label G TOWN looks set to bring those rough and ready sounds together in one place, while putting himself and Galway at the tip of everyone’s tongue in the process.

Launching with a robust three track EP that showcases the tougher elements of his production capabilities, we get a good idea of what we’re going to be hearing from G TOWN as a label itself.
Following on from a stacked catalogue of sporadic drops of more experimental and varied tracks over lockdown, GTOWN001 is a statement release from KETTAMA, with three of the most in demand tracks of the year finally seeing the light of day. Despite the lack of club play, plenty of airtime on Rinse FM and beyond have given each track more than enough time to familiarise themselves with a receptive fanbase, while looking to leave a dent in dancefloors globally come next year.

All and all, GTOWN001 is a new beginning for one of electronic music’s most prolific and effective artists of the past couple of years, one that is going to kick off an expansive chapter in the months and years ahead.

HC Records, had previously published four compilations in digital formats with artists who fully matched the conceptual and musical ideals of this collective. Blueprint welcomes Token's Kr!z to the label with his second ever solo EP.

Kr!z, hailing from Ghent (Belgium) has always had a strong empathy for the gloomier, dark, raw sound of techno with artists like Jeff Mills, Surgeon and James Ruskin playing a major influence in the 90's, helping him to define his musical taste and develop his own identity in the Techno scene. As a respected and established figure in Belgium for almost two decades, his DJ schedule takes him all over the world. In 2007 he launched his own label, Token, which he's rapidly established as a firm fixture with its timeless and powerful sound.

In 2019 he released his debut solo EP 'Mantra' on Token, and with James Ruskin being a big supporter we now come full circle with the release of his 'Neutrino EP' on Ruskin's own Blueprint.

Mickey Nox is a techno enthusiast, label owner, DJ and producer from Melbourne, Australia. His impressively unique style and attitude towards his constantly evolving productions and DJ sets is dark, menacing, and always maniacally exhilarating as he becomes progressively more entangled within his heavy hitting hardware.

This 2 x 12” vinyl has five original tracks and three insane remixes from a trinity of head bangers. Devoted to music from a very young age, Nomad has been writing electronic music and DJing for the last three decades. His DJing skills earned him gigs at many of Scotland’s top clubs and in Europe, eventually taking up residency at Edinburgh’s legendary ‘Dogma’ where he helped shape the infectious club with his rampant track selection and turntabalism. However, 2015 saw him change direction, craving something other than DJing in clubs, which resulted in the spawning of highly successful radio shows and record labels under the RIOT banner.

Toma Kami returns to Livity Sound for a third EP of provocative, experimental club gear. At the helm of his own Man Band label the French producer continues to explore a hybridised style which favours fractured beats, playful samples and occasional psychedelic flourishes.

Compared to the busier sound of previous releases, minimalism informs Toma’s approach on LIVITY053 as he sits his crunchy drums and weighty low-end in a tangibly spacious mix on ‘Amapicante’. Even within a stripped-down context, his unique approach shines through as ‘Later To The Bone’ progressively ramps up in scratched and scuffed sonic interference and ‘Mzecal’ trips over its own fragmented found-sound drum formations.

Livity Sound is a label set up by Peverelist in 2011 as a vehicle for a raw and exploratory strain of UK techno, rooted in the heritage of UK dance music and sound system culture. It has since become one of the UK's foremost protagonists for cutting edge underground electronic music.

We are proud to have ‘Oleka’ apart of the Green Fetish brand. He brings his signature sound across 3 original tracks and really amplifies his own originality. All 3 tracks warp and distort the common sound of “techno” with sharp polished sound design stabs driven by break beat and off beat drum sounds. He really pushes and stretches different sounds past it’s limit but in such a unique way that it still fits into a realm of dance floor tracks that will keep the rave going. Adding diesel to the release, we have saucy remixes from Mickey Nox and the infamous ‘Lag’. All up this 5 Tracker is stacked with power start to finish. #fuckinghammers

Three years after his last studio album, Orson Hentschel returns with a multi-outputted visual album. Heavy Light, the title of his fourth album project, consists of three parts - a 3-channel film installation, a visual live-performance and the album itself. Hentschel expands the format of the conventional album to an audiovisual experience by merging elements of film, dance and music in a synthesis of arts. The project evolved in the time of Corona, which first affected him visually when the city (Berlin) turned into a ghost town during the first lockdown. Light became the most vibrant element in the city, which influenced both picture and sound. Metallic, sometimes harsh and electrifying, surroundings of the urban life are landscaped into eclectic pulses.

Born in the US, Avernian grew up in a household that was a melting pot of cultures. With his mother being German and his step-dad being Peruvian, he was exposed to many different kinds of music from a young age. Cumbia, Afro-Peruvian and even Guaracha were constants in his life.

Fast forwarding to his late teens, Avernian moved to Germany to study and get in touch with his German heritage. By doing this, he discovered his love for electronic music and delved into producing. Over the years, he found that the UK sound resonated with him in ways that reminded him of his childhood and so he decided to move to the UK and immerse himself. Avernian’s music pays homage to all of these influences that have played a part in his journey. Elements from these influences can be heard clearly in his output. A sound that cannot be pigeon holed or defined by a singular genre.

Now living in Manchester, he runs his own label and party series by the name of Lurch, regularly inviting down friends and artists he feels a personal connection with in their music. On this debut album, Avernian wanted to showcase every different influence in his music; from Cumbia, Dancehall, UK Funky, Techno, UK Techno, Shaabi. It’s an accumulation of 2 years work also features samples from family recordings & videos to show the connection between Avernian’s music and childhood.

The 8th offering in the PRRKWHT series is a 4-track counting slab of wax which offers both some top names from the Rotterdam scene as well as international house hold names within Techno music. For the A1 Rotterdam based artist Ben Buitendijk offers a dubbed out Techno cut that fits this branch of the PRRUK operation perfectly. ARKVS offer a staggering and deep Techno cut that would soothe any dance floor situation. Echologist and Matrixxman open up the B side with ''Threshold'', a funked out Techno cut that uses immense chords and a thumping bass. Steve parker closes down this well balanced VA with the excellent ''Destination Moon''.

East Man returns to HI TEK SOUNDS with something a little different… A foray into stompy mechanical Techno, as well as his own hybrid amalgamation of Grime and Techno, 8 Bar Techno, which he has honed over the last few years.

The titular track, Underground Software, opens with a burst of static noise before launching into a stomping kick drum and stab combo, gradually adding hi hats and snares as the track progresses, building into a funky mechanical groove.

The second track is something of a signature tune for East Man, bringing Techno and Grime together to create the hybrid genre of 8 Bar Techno. It fires out the gate from the off, doing exactly what the title implies. This is one for the Grime dances and the Techno raves.

The last track is Primary Source. A slower beat with a plodding thud that folds into a squelchy Techno groove. Full of funk and flavour this EP covers a wide range while maintaining a coherence that few others manage to pull off.

I started this album simply writing a script, I think it is important that an album has a continuity that gives the album a cinematic sense, basically this must to tell you a story. For this time I chose the topic of: the development of human evolution in the future.'
I find it interesting to experiment with the sound and textures of the classical music, but not with the idea of how to adapt a techno track with classical instruments, I prefer to writing scores from scratch for each of the instruments and adapting synthesizers as part of that orchestra. I think that all this brings us an epic ingredient, that from the beginning I think it was the link between classical and techno music.
Besides the classical music, I have been experimented with different kinds of recording and synthesis, also I created almost all the sounds from zero. I have included different fx sounds, developed it with techniques as morphing and overlapping layers of sound, all to setup the tracks with a complex and rich textures, but with care about do not obtain something pasty.
I worked a lot with the space' in the tracks, trying to place each sound in a particular three-dimensional situation with clean reverbs, also the feeling of tension' is highly significant in this work, but ultimately the most important thing has been to build on a script written -as I said before- so that the narrative is a fundamental part of the album.

'non' is the dance imperative incarnation for high-end tool techno. Raw analogous sounds for the underground with no regret.

Khaliphonic 15 is the first full length release from Japanese experimental dub duo Undefined. Well-established as a live act since 2014, and releasing on their own Newdubhall label as well as ZamZam Sounds since 2017, it’s well-past time that their expansive and immersive sound be allowed to span the length of an LP, and this set is nothing short of a triumph.

The powerhouse duo of keyboardist/programmer Sahara (formerly of Heavymanners) and drummer Ohkuma (formerly of Soul Dimension) create an absolutely unique form of dubwise firmly grounded and rooted in rockstone reggae principles, while focusing intently on expansive spaces, subtle inflections, and exploratory minimalism and abstraction - deep dives into the heart of rootical riddim and space. Luminary vocalists Paul St. Hilaire, Rider Shafique, and Ras Dasher were invited on the journey, and the resulting set is absolutely timeless, a crowning achievement in the rich history of reggae, dub, and dub techno in Japan, and the world.

With “Defined Riddim” the two-man band has created something ruff & rugged while somehow delicate and utterly elegant throughout. Undefined honors the roots while taking them in an deeply personal, unconventional and unique direction unburdened by cliches, follow-fashion or any other concerns beyond creating an honest music - dub from the heart. Words fail when trying to describe the richly saturated color and tones of Sahara’s keys & bass; Ohkuma’s drumming is muscular, lithe, incredibly tight & subtle. The two together are nothing short of a force, a single spirit of riddim moving through two individuals with a fully-unified vision, the vision magnified by E-Mura’s (Bim One Production) masterfully restrained mix.

It’s an absolute honor to release this album in physical form, including a bonus 7” featuring the heartfelt vocals of Ras Dasher, who passed away suddenly before he could celebrate the release with us. Undefined and Khaliphonic/ZamZam Sounds dedicate this set to him, and to dearly-departed Naoki E-Jima, whose Disc Shop Zero was the heart of the scene in Japan until he left this plane in 2020. Naoki was also an early, enthusiastic, and steadfast supporter of ZamZam Sounds & Khaliphonic, and we are forever grateful to him and his family for the love they showed us and so many others.

For the last years, we have been a recurring platform for the music of the founders and few label adepts, welcoming old school overseas artists as well as talented ones. We will continue our sound research, releasing electro- acoustic music and ambient albums with our sister label Pregnant Void. An heartfelt thanks to every artist, friend, supporter and promoter for supporting and believing in our vision and love for music during last 10 years. The compilation will be released in digital format with a single tracklist while on vinyl it will be split on two records.

Strange anomalies are scattered throughout the world. Things that could not possibly belong to the time period or place in which they were found. These so called out of place artifacts baffle historians & archaeologists up until today and have inspired producers Vril & Rødhåd to write a collaborative concept album.

As a result the two producers got together in the studio with the idea to subvert the expectations of their previous work. They experimented over two sessions in 2018 and 2019, resulting in a record showcasing a different palette of sounds and tempo.
The album is suited for deep listening and exploring aforementioned concepts or introspection in general. A mystic tone is set from the start, and grips the listener throughout the whole run time. Each track encapsulates this notion in its own unique form, blending sonic ambience and complex beats that reaches spectral heights.
Both producer's styles shine individually, but the collaboration achieves something greater than the sum of its parts.

A Sagittarium returns to Rekids this May with ‘Strange Brew EP’

Fresh from the label's second release 'Robot Romance', supported by the likes of Laurent Garnier, Fred P, Jane Fitz, Jennifer Cardini, Rossko and more. David Agrella returns via his spaced-out house EP 'Freedom Unfolding'. Remixes are delivered by London favourite N-Gynn (Pleasure Club) known for drawing on left-field, ravey sounds and esteemed German live techno act and Muller Records/Acid Orange boss Beroshima.

Elastic basslines and tumbling percussion unfasten the A-Side with 'Walking Loud' as sinister synths convulse around the beat before N-Gynn provides a frisky reshape with sharp snares, golden keys and subtle, loopy vocal samples on a chuggier tip. The eclectic experience continues on the B-Side with title track 'Freedom Unfolding' as swinging basslines carry dream-like pads and fluttering samples, while Beroshima's acid-infused, broken beat rework provides an anthemic finale to the release.

Especial presents a 2 EP live concept collaboration with Berlin's Giraffi Dog. With live tours cancelled due the on-going changing world, the idea of bringing their live set to vinyl - an opera for your innerspace, while constrained from outerspace - was born.

Setting up Doom Chakra Tapes with DJ Deflektorschild in 2016, Max Webber's project first released the L'Existence Du Reve cassette album as a blueprint for the Giraffi Dog sound, with some tracks appearing on the acclaimed vinyl debut for Aiwo Recs, before a split 7" for the WARNING label series followed.

Teaming up with friend Max Heesen (Dessous, Poker Flat) to take the project live, their backgrounds in punk and hip-hop shine in their take on breakbeat driven club culture.

Cut as a continuous mix, tracks like Concorida, Jam X and Multiverse, are a manifestation of their sets dropped from small basements in Berlin to fields in the outskirts of Paris, this first EP acts as a hypothesis for the parallel, the other, the alternate, the infinite.

Originally from France and now based in Berlin Isolated Material has dropped a steady run of heavy hitting releases on labels including; Brokntoys, Haws, Ukonx, 909 Connection and Mind Controlled Rectifier before joining us for his debut EP on 20/20 Vision.

'Hidden Node' kicks off the wax with a jarring excursion of futuristic breaks and abrasive sound design firing on all cylinders with complex drum patterns, bleeps and glitches. 'Asynchronous Funk' sees Isolated Material serve up an abstract slice of electro funk with a solid broken beat groove peppered with unexpected moments of off-kilter magic.

On the flip side - title track 'Hidden Node' offers up a dose of Drexciyan inspired funk primed for a set on the dark side of the moon with; high octane breaks, quick fire drum programming, intricate synth patterns and ominous undertones. Wrapping up the EP 'Unmarked Sequence' is an equally potent chaser for the wide eyed deep space traveller in need of body jerking breaks.

A fresh but already affirmed face, Joannes likes his techno solid. With Noordster he gives us a showcase of a certain aesthetic, which on a certain day, for a certain ear, on a certain floor is simply the shit. Spartan in his sparsity, varied in diversity, Joannes knows what he wants. With 3030 he takes us into a Millsian orbit warp, Whisper lands us on Hoth where ice and wind abound. Tripyness is the chugger here, deep and beautiful, like the sea in a storm. Wake goes down the quirky path, with small audio-phonic nuances piercing the air and the riddim holding the groove. And then, out of nowhere comes Ghetto bird, as soft and gentle as the Nightingale and the Rose. Wilde stuff. To top off the package, we go south, to the lands of sun, sea and dance with Housey Yo! Nice tribal atmospherics and smart Four Tet-like melodies. This one has that B-side moment. Let’s make it happen. All in all, a welcome addition to the label, bring on the sounds Johnny boy.

When it comes to floor-filling tracks that balances smart drum programming with pure melodic bliss, you can always rely on John Beltran to deliver. Throughout his career, Roger Semsroth has followed a deep intuition for experimentation in sound, wrapping club music around eerie microtonal motifs and industrial sensibilities. This new work for Tresor takes a step forward, as the first true techno album from Sleeparchive, where his previous LPs have exhibited themselves more conceptually, or under di erent names and his Nord Vest label.
Semsroth has been active in electronic music since the late 90s. He received initial attention first for his electro productions under the alias Skanfrom and the 80s minimal synth inspired Television Set. These projects echoed his love for these sounds, which the East Berliner had steadily immersed himself with after the end of the GDR. Upon hearing the bleeps of Mika Vainio and Plastikman, he began to engage with his strain of techno. Over the last decade, he has focused on his Sleeparchive alias, which dates back to 2004. Alongside close friend DJ Pete, he performs live techno as TR-101. His relationship with Tresor began in 2011, first releasing the Ronan Point EP and following up with the crucial A Man Dies In The Street series in 2013.
With this new album, Sleeparchive's impact on the techno sound is ever more relevant. Awaking in constant locomotion, locked-in, unrelenting and dry. Sleeparchive’s churning loops etch visions of tight minimalism at times densely frenetic and others serenely galactic. This predilection continues throughout the four sides on the album, eschewing conventional arrangement styles with gradual probabilistic change. Tracks such as 'Needle' and 'Peccant' o er up precise, sinewy techno. 'Leave' recalls the Detroit sound of Terrence Dixon, with its cascading synth tones and droning atmospheres. The album closes with a di erent version of 'Trust' to that found on last year’s Revised Recordings EP released on Tresor, with its now-familiar nerve-inducing pizzicato strings even more at the fore with its mechanic delivery.

'AGAMA' is the music project and alter ego of singer, composer, producer and multi instrumentalist Cassandra Gurling. Born and raised in Birmingham and now based in London, Cassandra is a classically trained vocalist and choir director.

Her sound is classic yet contemporary, a dense mix of styles in which her operatic and earthy voice is simultaneously rooted and floating above - soulful, jazzy, slightly psychedelic with touches of electronics and a dramatic twist. Welcome to Bernard Fevres universe.

* Blessed Initiative is a project by Yair Elazar Glotman, which suggests a dissonant, coexistent state of extreme highs and lows. The album attempts to articulate a mental state of simultaneity, in which equilibrium is fleeting, fragile, and its scarcity is embraced. Opposite states coincide, contrast and reflect, creating moments of uncertainty and insecurity. Absurdity and at times even bliss are possible results, in the attempt to channel anxiety into creative forces rather than debilitating ones. In an environment where personas are the sums of the images they project, sounds are also no longer evidence of invention but of ever-changing combination, curation, and editing. The final persona is a sum of the chosen and the deleted, as well as what may be projected from outside, creating a confusing and conflicted self. The sounds collected here are attempts to compose on these uncertain grounds, and to reflect the anxiety released in all these sources' meeting and interaction. As a singular project, Blessed Initiative stops to comment on the conditions that inform Glotman's composition before and after it, and to acknowledge it as a non-linear, ongoing process.

* The focus on process and uncertainty is apparent in the album's phrasing, re-articulation and cycles of repetition and deviation. The pieces were composed from sounds generated on the KYMA system, personal foley recordings as well as tape manipulations techniques. Minor sounds on major scales and micro-tonal tuning suggest an ambiguous harmonic sphere. These were then integrated within idiosyncratic rhythmic structures, at times integrating real spaces and resonating bodies as reverb and augmented echo chambers. Concrete, almost-recognizable organic sounds contrast with these abstract spaces and connect them to tactile experiences. These textures and structures are a palette that reforms and deforms as it cycles throughout the album.

* The photographic series "Relax (blue)", 2004, by the artist Josephine Pryde was chosen for the album's cover as a materialization of tension. The two images represent a closed cycle of energy and unfulfilled release.

* Yair Elazar Glotman is a classically trained musician and sound artist based in Berlin whose previous works on Subtext include the LP 'Études' and a collaboration with James Ginzburg titled Nimbes.

Ancient Trees vs. Skyscrapers is the is the techno/electro moniker of producer Brad Peterson and is planned to pull from his 20+ years of archives, plus current work, as it goes ahead. Keep an eye on this project as he adds his tracks into the mix of producers such as Derek Carr, Octave One, Reedale Rise, John Shima, Dan Piu, G-Prod, Dan Bell, UR, Drive Train, Stehpen Lopkin, Rob Belleville, DJ Bone, Juan Atkins, UR, Mihail P, Drexia and the many others on that stream.

In the spring of 2019 Void and Tucker convened at Void’s Demna Studio to record two days of modular improvisations. Using their individualised modular cases they connected the two configurations to create one whole system where they could integrate and meld sequences, beats, drones and samples. Key to the duo’s process was bringing the organic textures of guitar, cello and voice together with machine rhythms, creating a balance between circuitry and the human body.

The duo edited down the raw recordings into their crucial moments, expanding upon the improvisations into eight cohesive pieces.

After lurking on the internet as an outlet for Dreamlogicc's solo and collaborative work, cheeky Peak Time Dance Music launches its physical imprint with a half dozen tracks of drum-driven madness. Drawing raw rhythms and rugged sound design from gqom, integrating elements of electro, grime, and techno, these flexible beats absolutely stomp. While the core sound remains, the moody grooves from his Kimochi Sound releases and bassy halftime from Main Drain Studios take the back seat here: it's a 12" for the club.

* Emptyset present a live recording of their performance project Signal, which explores the effects of atmospheric propagation and transmitted sound.
* Developed between Bristol and Berlin over the course of 2014, the performance took place in Berlin on February 1st 2015. The project worked with long distance high frequency radio transmission in order to bounce audio composed of sine wave structures across the atmosphere, in a process that ornamented and shaped the signal in accordance with physical fluctuations in the ionosphere, atmospheric noise and solar radiation patterns.* The signal path for the performance transmitted the audio across a real-time 2000km circuit, routed from Berlin to Nauen 40k west of the city, where it was transmitted from the oldest operational transmission station in the world, received by the 1950's French radio base Émetteur d'Issoudun and from there retransmitted and received at the performance space in Berlin. The multiple atmospheric bounces imprinted into the audio introduced complex transformations of sound.

* Natural patterns of organic life make the most efficient use of space and surface area and in permaculture design one observes natural patterns in a landscape and plans details accordingly. Taking a self-occurring pattern like the veins of a leaf, contour lines, or the spirals of water and letting that guide interactions with the surface of the earth. The ethos is to work with natural flow and processes rather than to impose.
* Mirroring this idea From Patterns to Details draws from the sense of a deeper underlying order. It sees continuity between environment and individual, continuity between external bodies and the internal emotional landscapes that music can communicate beyond the affordances of language. The album embraces technology as something that is not in conflict with the organic processes of nature. Technology is treated as life in a different state. Human beings are gardens in a different state; all temporary forms of the same thing. From Patterns to Details imagines states of alignment with all, and harmonious design, a complete integration between personal and external systems whether organic or technological.
* Fis composes physical, spirited, exploratory electronic music inspired in part by his work as a permaculture designer. Initially developing his craft on the sound systems of his birth country New Zealand, he went on to a string of critically acclaimed releases on Tri Angle Records and Loopy in recent years.

* Continuing Subtext's exploratory electronics and devastating sonics is the expansive Ego De Espinhos, the debut full-length from twenty-two year old Porto, Portugal-based artist Gonçalo Penas.

* Described by Penas as a series of 'self-exorcisms,' Ego De Espinhos is the cathartic outcome of a highly introspective process. Shaped by opposing forces and instincts, the LP touches on themes that are at once intimate, yet omnipresent. Splendor confronts destruction; id confronts super-ego.

* Created solely with digital instruments designed and built by the artist, Ego De Espinhos is the result of Penas' improvisations. Tracks such as 'Introdução, Umbigo' and 'Tecto Falso' were recorded in one take, and evidence a stark, dramatic emotional palette.

* The release begins as Penas chooses to reject rigidities, customs and conventions of experimental electronic music. Of his process, Penas says: 'Personally, I feel that creation should come from a completely free act of will. It is a place where there should be no rules, no expectations, no rights and no wrongs.'

* In Ego De Espinhos, Penas turns away from his own technical background, and towards a journey of forward experimentation. This follows his education in Music Production and Technologies at Porto's School of Music and Performing Arts. For the first time, he finds the freedom to articulate himself sincerely, unearthing beauty and acceptance amidst wreckage and devastation.

In demand drummer for Melt Yourself Down and the Owiny Sigoma Band, Tom Skinner, steps out of the spotlight from his recent worldwide successes with these acclaimed collectives and a recent EU tour with Owiny Sigoma Band supporting Atoms For Peace to release his new EP Revolutions as Hello Skinny. Swiftly following on from his acclaimed and self-titled debut album, Tom Skinner's Hello Skinny project ratchets back into view with the genre-blurring EP/mini-album Revolutions.


Side A of this new 12" comes in the form of two brand new Hello Skinny tunes, Revolutions parts 1 and 2, written and recorded with live band members Hugh Jones and Shabaka Hutchings.


Side B begins with Zero 7's minimal techno take on Crush from last year's self-titled Hello Skinny LP. Followed by two further remixes, a take on Knot Blue by fellow Slowfoot artist (and member of Hello Skinny's live band) Crewdson aka Hugh Jones and then capped off by Skinner's Melt Yourself Down colleague Pete Wareham and his midnight reverb reworking of Bump.

Subtext presents ​Hydrangea, the debut album from writer and artist ​Holly Childs and artist ​Gediminas Žygus formerly known as J.G. Biberkopf.

Initiated in 2017, ​Hydrangea grew out of a series of performances emphasising conspiracies and the designer realities that they generate. Navigating a tangle of digitally induced subjectivities and relationships, ​Hydrangea sees Childs & Žygus amidst a continuously evaporating world in which narratives dissolve, leak, fold in on themselves and loop.

Childs & Žygus ask: As individuals are siloed online, can rifts in reality ever be reconciled? Is history a form of science fiction? And are narrators ever reliable? The process of creating ​Hydrangea was defined by the search for a form to bind fiction, poetry, and musical experience. Its narrative is influenced by technical instructions, lectures and whispered conversations, in which slippage and floating focus can create new meanings in the listener that weren’t intended by the speaker.

Childs & Žygus employ a musical language that layers their cumulative practices and experiences. The compositions are cinematic and spatial, working with the illustrative qualities of Disneyesque string melodies and taking cues from Maurice Ravel’s impressionistic piano works.

The work is also influenced by both artists’ lifelong experiences of rave culture, beginning for Žygus during childhood in newly independent Lithuania, spending time juggling Disney and happy hardcore cassettes on the family stereo, and for Childs as a preteen in Australia, tagging along with her sisters to doofs and warehouse parties. Initiated while the artists were both working between Amsterdam and Rotterdam in 2017, the work also draws on Dutch gabber music.

Hydrangea’s development has been influenced by collaboration with artists and filmmakers ​Metahaven, who created the album art.
Holly Childs is a writer and artist. Her research involves filtering stories of computation through frames of ecology, earth, memory, poetry, and light. She is the author of two books: ​No Limit (Hologram) and Danklands (Arcadia Missa); and has presented her work at ICA (London), Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam), Trust (Berlin), Elam School of Art (Auckland) and more.

Gediminas Žygus is an artist working within the fields of sound, documentary and performance. Their practice assembles a spectrum of influences deriving from architecture, ecology, ethnography, science studies, and media theory. As J.G. Biberkopf, their releases have found homes on Knives and Danse Noire. Žygus has performed at Barbican Centre (London), Berghain (Berlin), Sonic Acts (Amsterdam), and Centre Pompidou (Paris), among others.
