With the guys from Wareika we picked another long time friend who allready played a couple of times for our club. Produced in a freaky, deep and super well deep minded way there come their track Propaganda. A journey into a style of music that you will never get bored!
Last but for sure not least is Micha Klang, the Master of our beloved Club Rakete in Nürnberg, who sent us a wonderful deep dub techno track that totally went inside our mind. Were happy to got this track to complete our new various artist.

KRTM is back with a solo EP for SSSPCR005. These new tracks are diving further into the vast spectrum of electronic music with an obsessive, yet playful tone. Although, throughout the entirety of this record, deranged and demented tendencies are hiding underneath the layers of electrical grain.

On this edition's artwork, Casimir is collaborating with the illustrator and graphic virtuoso Lukas Verstraete, forming a series of energetic and radical drawings covering the narrative nature of these tracks.

Inner Tension is the record label of Polish (Berlin-based) artist Blazej Malinowski which is an expression of his deep interpretation of techno. The label aims to provide an eclectic vision of dance music which reaches deep within the mind itself and projects atmospheric and warm sounds for the dancefloor.

The 001 sees a 4-track EP released January 2021 on vinyl/digital containing 3 originals by Blazej himself & a remix by Oscar Mulero.

The first release Inner Tension 001 called 'Katharsis' signifies the birth of the label and its sound & direction.

Katharsis (from Greek κάθαρσις, meaning "purification" or "cleansing" or "clarification") is the purification and purgation of emotions -- through art or any extreme change in emotion that results in renewal and restoration

The 4-track EP contains 3 originals by Blazej himself & great rework by Oscar Mulero. The A1, 'Katharsis' is a classic trippy and deep techno signature from Blazej. A2 follows with a more clubby track 'Behind' with a hint of psychedelic deep techno feeling. B1, 'The End' brings plenty of energy and without a doubt a peak-time flow; uplifting & high hats hitting.

B2, the Mulero remix of 'The End' captures a real twisted yet emotional journey with a long build up and subtle breakdown with a raw finish.

As a young person growing up in West Yorkshire, my experiences of true underground clubbing became intertwined with names such as Back to Basics, 20/20 Vision and Carl Finlow. That period in the early 2000's became a life-affirming time for my young self.

Frequent trips to Back to Basics, then held at the Mint Club helped forge my outlook on electronic music and how it should be played in a club environment. I would often hear stories about ""the Farm"" and the late night parties and studio sessions. The anecdotes and tales of US icons recording in the countryside with the local guys provided only a small insight into the creativity and fun that must have gone on during those years. Cut to now in 2017, whilst looking back to those times more than fifteen years ago, I can proudly say that the dots have been joined and the connections now formally established.

I'm immensely proud to say that Carl Finlow, the understated king of British electro, and I, have put together a selection of his works that provides a themed snapshot into his musical history. The music I have chosen with Carl may not be all of his biggest tracks but it is the music that is special to me. The selection has a vibe, one that is deep and emotive, music for the head as well as the feet - Hope, you hear it in the same way (...)

Dublin’s Woozy label premieres on wax with Radial, the debut EP from newcomer Coe. 3 dubstep-informed club weapons b/w a percussive rework from Or:la.

The title track recalibrates mid-noughties FWD> pressure, suspending us in an E-licked smog before puncturing the rave-lry with thrusting bass stomps and fervorous IDM-adjacent drums for an electro-id crazed stomper. Say (KL Tribute) flexes Coe’s wub mechanics, presenting computerised sound chaos before dropping a half-step hungry wobble fest, mounting the pressure on the ‘floor to a near combustible, skanking peak.

On the flip, 403 slightens the pace for a chugging techno/electro zinger with a faint dembow shell, sounding like the soundtrack to a sinister salsa dance. Or:la’s drum-tastic Radial rework sees us out, conducting an orchestra of percussive pistons akin to a ravey engine room for a mid-tempo grooving killer.

Recorded prior to Mills's departure from the project, Deep into the Cut marks a significant moment in the convergence of the classic industrial aesthetic and the emerging sound of Detroit techno. This reissue serves as a window into this unique moment, evoking both the transgressive spirit of European industrial music and the raw militant power of early Underground Resistance. The album declaims a message of sonic urgency across its 11 tracks, and still stands as a landmark statement of the industrial techno sound. Remastered in Berlin by Rashad Becker, this edition presents the full album as a double vinyl release for the first time.

Third number in the DDS split series after a pair of releases courtesy of Betonkust/Uj Bala and DJ Overdose/Sematic4, "DDS03" sees Budapest duo SILF (alias Farbwechsel chief-operators Alpar & S Olbricht) and Den Haag-based pair Intergalactic Gary and Pasiphae join forces on a quartet of elusive, unpigeonholeable power moves.

Four years after the drop of their debut joint EP on Biorhythm, "Made of Glass", I-G and Pasiphae are back at it with two left-of-centre hybrids of futuristic techno on a whirring electro-industrial tip. An off-kilter jam percolating fine hints of spiritual elation and post-apocalyptic anxiety, "Microwaves" gets the ball rolling on a dichotomous note. To slo-scudding flocks of loud, bouncy kicks supersede skeins of brittle chimes and rattling drums, all woven together by subtle tectonic shifts of moody pads.

A further hi-intensity affair, "Indistinct Chatter" drives that essential heavenly/nightmarish duplicity to higher spheres of consciousness. Fusing lighthearted, daydreaming tonalities with brooding, cavernous onslaughts from the depths, the track has us navigating in a zone of its own, deftly oscillating betwixt moments of mystique-imbued euphoria and darkling introspection. A choice exponent of the Hague-based dyad's capacity at busting antiquated patterns and limitations.

Having slept in the label's vaults for a few seasons, the two tracks composing the B-side emerge from their slumber in all their time-proof bravura. An in-your-face trampler, the ten-minute long "Mono Miner" takes no byway to get its point across, all set to smash basements and warehouses by the dozen with its electrifying compound of 909-emulated gut churn and spinning synth arpeggios circling like birds of prey over your sore, rhythm-enslaved carcass.

Closing the journey on a much softer, hazier vibe, "Aces" steers us towards a realm of ambient wonder, where slo-drip cascades of tapping percussions and elegiac synth waters flow into warm, glimmering summer beds. A most contrasting, tranquillising finale to an EP defined by its propensity to change colours and intensity throughout.

“Jacopo Benassi plays Jacopo Benassi” is a performance where the photographer plays his body with radio-controlled microphones then samples them. At the same time, he takes photographs projected on a wall in real-time. The inner need to produce sounds not knowing how to play any instrument comes from the work realized in his former club, BTOMIC, where he met underground artists from all over the world. The album that comes from this work was created in collaboration with two great Berlin artists, Khan of Finland and Jochen Arbeit: the first worked on the performance mixing live the sound of my body, then both produced a remix. The work will be divided into two parts, A side and B side, with the original sound and the two remixes. The fanzine with photographs taken during the performance will be found inside the album.

Ever since he first stepped in the production game in 2013 with his self-released debut, Newcastle’s Junes has worked tirelessly on establishing an identifiable sound, exempt from ephemeral trends and bound to withstand the test of time. The Berlin-relocated Englishman now escapes from his home platforms Galdoors and Dote to land a round of his typically atypical dub blends and elegantly pared-down electronics on KOC.

A crisp, opium-scented bassy tech number in its own right, “Witching Hour” kicks things off to the sound of rattling darbukkahs, chirpy hats and thick volutes of Prince of Persia-extracted synths. A2 “Vessel” keeps the mystery intact with its curtains of randomly cascading chimes and bloopy signals gone astray.

Flip it over and let the title-track “Shifting Sands” work its stealth magic on you. Whereas the original takes us on a speleological ride across mineral chambers and bottomless spectrum depths where weird machine monsters and their warped cousins reside in relative tranquility, Aarhus-based producer and Help Rec. boss Central drops the hammer with a shuffling, oneiric reshape primed for an all-organic workout in the wild.

Heavy, effective 1990s UK Hardcore/ UKG revival cuts from Soundbwoy Killah on his debut Sneaker Social Club 12"

In the process of relocating to Den Bosch's Willem Twee Studios, The Transcendence Orchestra let love slip deftly out of its gate and reverberate around the walls of the studio's main hall, a high ceilinged former synagogue in the city's old town. Working intensively to capture its echoes, they coaxed it to appear in pipes and strings, directed it through resonant circuits and shepherded it round the room with beaters, horns and rattles.

Having returned home with the recordings, a purpose began to emerge. Through a process of extensive reconfiguration and testing it became clear that the love contained within could transform perception. Under the right circumstances, and accompanied by appropriate technology, it could serve as a map for navigating beginnings and endings. Like some distant mesmerising chant or a psychedelic folk song, it could connect us and reassure us that we can pass through the boundaries and survive. Perhaps not intact but at least whole.

Here is that map, love soaked diligently into its lines, ready to guide those at a loss or reassure those willing to explore.

Renowned record label and events brand Renaissance announce the next release in their acclaimed The ReMix Collection - a scintillating reworking of Jaydee’s 1992 R&S classic ‘Plastic Dreams’ from one of the leading names in techno: Producer, DJ & MOOD Records label boss Nicole Moudaber.

Nicole Moudaber’s spectacular and atmospheric remix of ‘Plastic Dreams’ is already receiving strong DJ support, not least from Carl Cox, who has been playing it out as a highlight of his recent sets.

A track that Nicole Moudaber had always wanted to remix, when approaching such an iconic track as ‘Plastic Dreams’, she applied her trademark tough yet melodic sound, emphasising the jazzy bass notes and famous organ synthesiser refrain, to deliver a fresh and vibrant reworking.

On her remix, Nicole Moudaber said: “I didn’t want to lose the essence of this ground-breaking track. I kept the balance between house and techno and added a little touch of jazz. The System 108 anniversary record sums up the label's five-year work without words. The new collection is an impression of everything that the team has become during its existence. System 108 has matured nominally and stylistically, defining for itself three main directions: post-industrial, techno and break-beat, disco and house. Each of the three parts of the new collection reveals one of the musical trajectories of System 108 development: (Part 2) -- techno, breakbeat, old school trance by friends and residents of the label.

Antoni Maiovvi’s debut EP on Italo Moderni with four original tracks influenced by the Bakalao from Valencia in the 90’s. The so-called ”Ruta Destroy” was a direct hit to the “Movida Valenciana” and consisted of the largest clubbing movement in Spain. It started in certain aspects the clubbing movement in the country, and had long-term consequences on the form of nightlife in Spain. Including a remix by Jensen Interceptor and Cardopusher.

Ed DMX joins the casa voyager posse and for the first time, he is using his legendary computor rockers moniker on another label than his, bringing back the old-school electro flavors on CSV. Efficient, mechanic and computorized!

Smartbar resident Jeff Derringer takes the reigns for the latest Suara release, alongside remixes from Blueprint boss James Ruskin and German duo Cassegrain.

Hugely respected as a producer, Derringer unleashes 'Mercury' - a heavy hitting, expansive techno weapon. Analog weight and synth stabs intertwine, reverberating around this constructed chasm, whilst a booming kick, crunched up hats and modulated toms provide a dizzying spell of suspense and tension.

Up next, 'Apollo' is a gritty, glitched out emotive number. Beginning with an twisted synth line and pulsating kick combo it develops into an introspective journey, with Derringer panning percussion and distorted claps to build a dystopian soundscape in the mind.

On the B side, UK techno linchpin and Blueprint mastermind, James Ruskin, takes to remixing 'Mercury' - harnessing that 90's flair that has cemented him as a long-standing bastion of the UK's scene. It's a heavyweight slammer, injecting hydraulic hats and warped samples to give an almost primeval air to its makeup. An added sense of urgency and complexity, with moments of suspense and tension when required, showcase exactly why Ruskin is held in such legendary status.

To close out the EP, German duo Cassegrain turn 'Apollo' into a dark, droning atmospheric groove. It's frenetic, fist pumping stuff, with an underwater essence made ever more present by the sonar-like bleeps. A no nonsense closer, that deserves to be unshackled on the heaviest of systems.

What´s that coming over the hill!
It´s Moenster aka Lexy & Gunjah back on the floor after their latest releases on MusicisMusic and Microtonal. The record´s name is even program: two beautiful hypnotic tunes getting remixed by Robag Wruhme (Freude am Tanzen, Musik Krause, Vakant, Movida) and Sascha Braemer (Supdub, Stil vor Talent, Shaker Plates).

Oliver Schories & Jan Blomqvist present ‘Packard’, a gripping and emotion-driven piece, where they imagine ‘what would happen if the world stopped turning for a year’. Despite Jan and Oliver being friends for years now, it was when they both shared the booth at fabric London that the idea of a collaboration came up. Ultimately, both artists were tied-up on upcoming album projects and air-tight touring schedules. It was only when all concerts were slowly canceled in March 2020, that the notion gained traction until it materialized.

We are very happy to present the first part of the EP and the sounds of one of a kind underground producer and the man behind Arkada label artowrks Phausis also known under his Dj alias Agent2.

Born in London and raised on a mix of electronica and Detroit techno, Phausis doesn't put his head above ground to release music very often. With the occasional release on Earthlings compilation, acre recordings, Subgrade and the Anti- The Social Network here he presents two rare tracks of electro/acid especially brewed for Arkada records.

Second part of our EP presents the music of the Rome based most talanted electronic music producer JFrank.

Co-founder and Generalissimo at brainstormlab, and master General at Distant Future with well over 10 years of live gigs under his belt, JFrank is well known for his late night dancefloor breaks and has played everywhere from the arthouse to the doghouse – London warehouses and Berlin basements to Spanish squats and Roman ruins – with his special brand of space-age electronics. Along with a broad portfolio of releases, he currently has vinyl out on Pyramid Transmissions, Kaer'Uiks and The Irrational Media Society

On the second chapter of Arkada003 - 2 outstanding Electro/Glitch tracks of Julien which were also produced especially for the release.

That was the question put to Mark Gamble when the initial mixes of “Take Me Back” were delivered to Network in 1990.

Mark - he of the mad Mohican haircut - replied as low and dirty as you want. His subsequent definitive Bass Heads mix became the ultimate Dance Music With Bleeps anthem, causing chaos and literally carnage as bass bin speakers in clubs throughout the World were well and truly blown. Network had to get a lawyer on board to deal with compensation claims from outraged club owners as Take Me Back was hailed as an instant iconic classic.
A Robert Gordon edit “with extra bass” added Steel City credibility and that, plus promo copies on a spoof 0742 label, built up the myth that Mark hailed from Bleep capitol Sheffield.

In fact despite being a member of Krush whose mega “House Arrest” generated headlines hailing Sheffield as the UK’s equivalent of Detroit, boffin Mark was creating his brooding earthquake sonic booms from a tiny bedroom studio in his Nottingham house.

To celebrate Network’s 30th Anniversary, Mark searched for the master tape of his 1990 gem and has come up with a typically sound splat of a remix.

It’s Track 1 here and “Take Me Back” also features with a TJ edit of the Anniversary remix, plus the aforementioned classic Bass Heads and Rob Gordon edit versions.

There’s also the original versions of “Frequency” and “Demons” which each followed up “Take Me Back” and were also acclaimed as iconic Dance Music With Bleeps moments. The late great John Peel’s Radio 1 show hammered “Demons” which went to top the USA Billboard Dance Chart.

These frequencies still resonate.

The Belgian party organisation and record label De:tuned presents the final outing of their 10 year anniversary vinyl series. "DE:10.10" kicks off with a trippy Plaid remix of Humanoid's "sT8818r" track. The remix provides some more 3AM rave pressure for those sweaty basement parties. Erik Van Den Broek aka Shiver follows with a previously unreleased mix of "Primerose", an emotive late night acid track that was released on the 5 Years De:tuned box set in 2014. The B-side offers "Formulate", music straight from the soul produced by the physical embodiment of UK emotive techno and one half of B12, Steven Rutter. Lone completes the series with "Dream Ache", an exclusive track that graced Rustie's BBC Radio One Essential Mix back in 2012, finally pressed on wax.

Kevin Foakes (Openmind, DJ Food, Ninja Tune) created all the graphic work. Mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis Mastering. This 12" is pressed on 180 gr vinyl and is housed in a detailed silver foil sleeve to celebrate "10 Years De:tuned". Stay tuned!

The EON label's fourth vinyl release features an original from Birmingham producer Jayson Wynters with Chicago innovator Hieroglyphic Being on the remix.

Wynters - who along with label founder Adam Shelton has been at the heart of the Birmingham scene for years - has already impressed this year with his biggest EP yet on mighty Dutch label Delsin. Here he invites us ever deeper into his nebulous deep techno world with a superb new single 'Filtered Xploits.' It's a punchy but dynamic cut with lush ambient pads smeared across a cosmic sky while chattery percussion and lithe synth power onwards. It has a futuristic soul that recalls early Detroit techno and might be his best work yet.

Both Shelton and Wynters have long shared a love for the idiosyncratic sounds of Chicagoan Jamal Moss aka Hieroglyphic Being, the hugely prolific boss of Mathematics Recordings. He was one of the first artists they bonded over five or so years ago and that love only deepened when they caught him playing a standout set at Freerotation in 2017. After hooking up there, Jayson later hung out with Moss on a visit to Chicago before tapping him up for this remix.

In his hands, 'Filtered Xploits' becomes a brilliantly raw and textured track with layer upon layer of fractured melody and gurgling acid. The prickly, jacked up drums will make an impact on any floor, and as the chords shine through the mix they bring a sense of hope and optimism.

These are two more expertly crafted tracks from artists at the top of their game.

Connecting techno, EBM, acid and electro with vestiges of dub and experimental electronics, on ‘Endurance of Pain…’ Du Palais conjures an abrasive, intoxicating depiction of lust, hedonism, technological obsession and millennial alienation.

With the cruising techno pop menace of ‘Slow Steady Cum’, Du Palais introduces a nocturnal underworld. The descent is intensified by the mania and murk of ‘Glazed Disco Ball’ – a suspenseful dose of guttural low end, scowling spoken words, and crude drum machine clatter; if Gudrun Gut fronted Suicide. Then ‘Boys Tears’ elaborates on the dread and the sleaze with a horror show of gurgling synthesis, drubbing percussion and dissolute enunciations, halfway between John Carpenter and Unit Moebius.

From there ‘Up To No Good’ brings proceedings into a severe form of heat and frenzy, outlaying an exchange of raw jackhammer rhythms and vociferous punk chants that recalls Liaisons Dangereuses’ timeless underground classic ‘Los Niños del Parque’ if remade for 2021. ‘Smash The Mirror’ then finds room for scintillating dub recurrence and freakish machine funk before Sophie concludes the set with the sardonic electro-clash anthemics of ‘2001’, a provocative exploration of self, communication, and compulsion in the digital era. Miss Kitten meets Dopplereffekt for a technoid bonfire of the vanities.

Back from the wilderness. Synth in one hand, long-range camera in the other, techno's most enduring naturist Eulberg returns to Stephan Bodzin's Herzblut.

'Mimikry & Mimese' is every fathom as deep as you'd hope it to be... Both sonically, conceptually and how they draw their influence.

‚Mimikry' is classic Eulberg, several tales bound together into one immersive narrative where melodic phrases that at first appear disparate, gradually correlate with each other by way of delicately placed rhythmic elements and FX. With spiked melodic hooks, the elements display signs of danger, but the heart and soul - like all Eulberg tracks - is warm and friendly.

'Mimese' takes a similar twist to 'Mimikry' in that the melodic arrangement is based on distinct themes that gradually align, morph and complement each other. Deftly developed over a looser drum arrangement with much denser cosmic pads, its yet another unique story told in Eulberg's inimitable way.

Two whirling immersive narratives, two camouflage concepts that reveal, upon closer inspection, that all is not what it seems. Eulberg's adventures into the wilderness continue...

Jay Clarke's masterful BLACKAXON imprint returns with a shapeshifting EP from Davide Piras.

What began as a sonic sketchbook for Clarke to express his expansive view of electronic music, is evolving. The label is opening up to artists who hold a shared passion for creating dynamic and interesting techno compositions, with a few surprises here and there. Following last October's superb contribution from rising talent Yant, experimental techno artist David Piras drops a quadruplet of cuts to join the BLACKAXON fold.

Fresh off of a remix for Grimes’ “My Name is Dark”, producer Julien Bracht has been powering through CV19 studio seclusion on full-power, with a distinct vision for brighter days ahead. Bracht’s new album, “Now Forever One,” an emblem of dark analog synthwave, is set to drop June 11. Bracht’s first solo album under his own namesake is cut with surgical precision for the shoegazing astral sound travellers who long to break out of their pandemic quarantines, and reconvene for techno-induced ascension. The album’s first single, “Melancholia,” and it’s accompanying video, is already breaking hearts and charts. An exquisite sonic hybrid of communal revelry and profound introspection, “Now Forever One,” focuses Bracht’s multilayered craftsmanship on resolving this era’s angst with sensory exploration and optimism.



As a lifelong drummer, Bracht’s insatiable musical energy lead him to bang out his first 3 EPs within one year of first being signed in 2011-12. In 2015 he founded the band Lea Porcelain with Markus Nikolaus in London. Their hypnotic post-rock debut release in 2017, “Hymns to the Night,” gained instant acclaim from UK tastemakers Lauren Laverne, Steve Lamacq and Zane Lowe, to name a few. The lads broke back onto the international stage with dates on several major festivals around Europe, including the Leeds/Reading Festival, Great Escape Brighton and Latitude. Rich output combined with the inclusion of live drums in his solo live sets quickly gained Bracht recognition and slots on the global tour circuit.

“Now Forever One” forges Julien Bracht’s transition from techno djing, while continuing the explorations of texture and timbre over functional song structures from Lea Porcelain, to a more open-ended search for the aural sublime — the substrate on which music, life and light glide to create momentary nodes of meaning in an increasingly meaningless sociopolitical atmosphere. These are crucial themes to Bracht’s process and approach. “The intention in my music is to strengthen people’s awareness and minds… I want us all to gather in spirit and stick together.”

The album exemplifies Bracht’s hunt for elemental juxtaposition with the warm Prophet 6’s sawtooth howls and bright pads against chillingly indifferent pulsing basslines and percussion. Clocking in at just under 65 minutes, “Now Forever One’s” tracks are sequenced to take the listener through the full emotional arch of a 15-hour rave, with an emphasis on those moments of collective epiphany where heaving techno floors become the perfect microcosm for an idealistic and interconnected future. Interspersed with improvisational one-takes, the album submerges the listener in polyrhythmic meditations, of which “Streets” and “Nocturne” are standout examples, and soars on the vaulted synth melodies of future dance floor favourites “Melancholia” and “Dreams of Euphoria.” Sascha Ring of Apparat & Moderat puts it perfectly: “I played “Melancholia” the night I got it at Mutek Festival in Mexico City, and instantly knew it’ll shine on a big floor at the right time. It’s just the right balance of majestic melodic deepness.” The sounds are both triumphant and exploratory.

Greater than the sum of its parts, Bracht’s latest release hints at the artist’s emerging potential for nailing our moment’s zeitgeist; learning to live smaller while constantly seeking higher heights. Inhabiting the fertile ground between solitary rumination and dance-floor convenance, the launch of “Now Forever One’s” lunar expedition into the techno oblivion of pandemic lockdown is oddly fitting.

an advertisement of the UK government, suggesting a ballet dancer
called Fatima, should retrain in cyber security, that caught his
attention and initialized thoughts about the situation of artists during
and after the on-going pandemic. That's why he dedicated the title of
his EP to this fictional character, which stands for all artists, that are
left without much perspective or help or even any appreciation of
their government and the general public: „Fatima, The Struggle Is
Real!“ But in the end the message is clear, we will get through all this
misery, as long as we don’t give up. Artists where always a filter of
their environment and past has proven that it's been the tough times,
that pushed artists to reach their full-potential.

Conduit contains moments from the last two or so years of my life. There have been a lot of trying times and ups and downs in there. These moments are the exhaust of that life. Hailing from Georgia’s capital Tbilisi, Gacha Bakradze is one of the national scene’s leading electronic music exponents. He returns to Lapsus Records with his new album 'Obscure Languages', his second release for the Barcelona label.

Following the superb LP 'Word Color' Lapsus Records, 2018, which appeared in several ‘album of the year’ lists for publications such as Pitchfork and XLR8R, the prolific producer now presents 'Obscure Languages'. This new piece of work could well be described as a sound continuation from his previous album and maintains a powerful narrative at its core.

‘Obscure Languages' delves into the world of cinematic soundscapes, replete with microscopic details and fragments that showcase a luscious IDM style audio palette, laced with ambient, avant-techno, bass and sound design.

New school techno star Lee Ann Roberts continues to light up 2021 with another brand new single on her own NowNow Records. Her standout original is backed by remixes from MRD and D.A.V.E. The Drummer.

This year already belongs to South African-born, Amsterdam-based Lee Ann Roberts. Her new label has had high-profile support from tastemakers like Charlotte de Witte & Ken Ishii, and is already well known for its off-grid techno sounds. Roberts herself debuted only last year on Suara. She immediately hit the number 2 spot on the Beatport Hard Techno chart and followed up with more on Octopus Warehouse Series. She has played festivals like Caprices this year and is lined up for BPM as well as plenty more headline gigs.

The excellent 'Feel' is a nine-minute, hard-edged roller. The drums are flat-footed and unrelenting, the synths bring turbulence and dark vocals add dystopian unease. The edgy textures and caustic pads make for a visceral groove that is perfectly designed for shadowy warehouse spaces. An Acid Trip Mix sees the track erupt on wild acid lines that spray about the mix and cannot fail to blow up the dance floor.

Remixer MRD hails from Norway and has released plenty of EPs and an album in a short space of time. He has a ferocious sound that fuses new wave, hardcore and banging techno as evidenced here. His version is break-neck techno with trance pads lighting up the airwaves in euphoric fashion.

The second remixer is the legendary London techno titan and label boss D.A.V.E. The Drummer. He heads up Hydraulix Records and Apex Recordings and always brings the fire. His take on 'Feel' is a wall-rattling banger with oversized bass. Saw-tooth synths rip up the track while the stark, strobe-lit stabs and some buried vocals make the floor sweat.

Amsterdam's rising dark horse / talented misfit / rising talent mayo presents her debut EP for United Identities. ''Sad Violin Music'' holds three dirty jams, driven by her self-built modular synth.

A minimal, skeletal build builds hroughout to one of the most out-there breakdowns in recent rave-blotted memory, as the Axes slowly but surely rebuild their house to even more outlandish new proportions.

Terry Francis' name is synonymous with London's mid 90's to early noughties underground Tech-House heyday. “As Far As I Know” is the new project by electronic music veteran Eduardo De La Calle. Under this new moniker, Eduardo is exploring the roots of Detroit electro whilst sticking to his signature sound of trippy melodies and rhythms, which we were able to experience through so many quality releases over the last decades. This first EP by As Far As I Know, which also includes a collaboration with Nathan Surreal on B2 (Fact Speak Itself), takes us on a trip back to the future and deep into the realm of sci-fi related electro, IDM, and techno. As we continue on our journey here at Futurepast, we are pleased to welcome a trio that, for many years, we felt shared our vision, Frak! From Sweden, Frak have been founding an original hardware-based sound since the 80's, first via their own label Borft before collaborating with other labels over three whole decades.

On their "Formless Obstruction" EP, Frak have provided a window into the sinister twists and turns of their work. On the A-side, you see creeping Detroit stylings of "Scientific Bella" set against "Wrong Owl" with it's EBM underpinnings and industrial inflections.

On the flip, "Concentrated Feed" bubbles next to the razor sharp "Capacity Faun", both are filled with characteristic machine quirks and experimentalism.
