Jedi Jet graced us with their presence on Mo's Ferry more than once... most recently with their mini album 'Little Things' including remixes. Somehow, the two Croats always make the right combination of rocking house grooves with funky Frickelsound treasures, which they gather at the wayside. With 'Two Side Story", they celebrate their minimalistic weirdness on a fully packed 4-tracker 12inch. UKbased producer Tom Ellis (Trimsound, Minordust) contributes an easy-going, reduced, but tremendously swinging remix of the title track. The flip continues with quirky rhythms supported by a punchy kick drum. It simply rocks!

Studio Mule drops “Anthologia”, the final chapter of a close look on the work of the Tokyo born DJ and producer Takayuki Shiraishi, a jack of all trades, that sways through Tokyo’s vast music scene since the late 70’s, a time when post punk grooves called the tune. As part of the band BGM he released in 1980 the album “Back Ground Music” on the legendary Osaka based underground label Vanity. Last October Studio Mule reissued BGM’s no wave, free funk mini-mal treasure. A few Month earlier Studio Mule already published “Missing Link”, a thrilling retrospect on Takayuki Shiraishi's unreleased material from the late 1980s, a creative period of which only a little ever saw the light of the day.

And now “Anthologia”, a record that is dedicated to his work during the years 1990 to 1996, a time span, in which Shiraishi moved on to produce house, downbeat and playful electronica. In 1995 he released the ambient/techno 12inch “Spectral Colours” on the R&S sublabel Apollo under the alias Planetoid. Two years later he manifested his techno leaning creativity under his given name on the album “Photon”, a record that helped launching Japan’s techno scene. It was followed by two more long players, that display his wide musical taste with ambient, house, breakbeat and other genre blending styles. Besides producing, Shiraishi was also a prominent figure of Tokyo’s club nightlife, DJing alongside Jeff Mills as well as Krautrock icons like Holger Czukay.

“Anthologia” features three unreleased tunes of this lapse of time, as well as highlights some work Shiraishi produced together with his friend Jun Sonohara as Musica Nova and a hidden gem he tuned in for the “Isolated Audio Players 1” compilation, published by the Tokyo based Pickin' Mushroom Recordings label in 2000.

The three unreleased tracks display his love for diversification. “Distant Thunder” is a drone driven ambient voyage, that slowly melds into a gentle rhythmic sensation driven by loose hi-hat patterns and a soft chord crescendo. On the opposite, “Lapis Lazuli” comes around as a mellow melodic downbeat trip enlarged with twisted rhythms and cosmic infiniteness. “A Voy-age” shows his love for house music with a grooving arrangement that comes close to the kinky house gems of contemporary producers like Lowtec. Also, the already known “Isolated Audio Players 1” compilation tune “Flicker” is located in the house spheres, delivering nervous jacking minimal vibes emerging from a precise produced dance of melodies, grooves and sound effects.

In comparison, the four Musica Nova tracks show again another side of Takayuki Shiraishi’s many musical talents. “Birds in Paradise” is an elegant triphop tranquilizer, while tunes like “Nocturnal Tribes” and “Green on Green” express his passion for electronic arrangements that think out of the box with airy melodies, slow-motion big beat rhythms, jazz particles and an overall cosmic sound complexion. The tune “Shifting Sand” goes the same direction, while adding esoteric reverberations and a touch of Drum and bass.

Together the eight tracks turn “Anthologia” into something more than just an anthology of Takayuki Shiraishi’s work. In association, all compositions work like an album that overwhelms with a reasoned story-arc, who slowly rises to a hypnotizing peak, from where all downswings to a calm finish, that makes you want to start all over again.

UNDERMEDVETENHETEN is a simple, science fantasy game for 1-12 players, with a focus on atmosphere, storytelling and player cooperation - perfect for newcomers to live action role playing. It takes 2 minutes to set up, lasts around 30 minutes, and no two games are ever the same.

Players take on the roles of humans aboard a vessel on an endless journey into the depths of space. They are not lost, but all hope is, as they hurtle stricken into the void. Your only access to the universe outside is through the ship's altruistic artificial intelligence, Mima.

As immersive chapter cards are revealed one by one, players must interact with Mima in order to shed light on the universe around them, indulge in fantasies of worlds past, or attempt to right the ship's blighted trajectory.

Mistress Recordings welcomes Anthony Rother, one of electronic music’s most prolific producers, who will release two records on DVS1’s sub-label later this month. For more than 25 years, the legendary producer from Offenbach, Germany aggregated a vast musical canon that reflects his unique career as a sound researcher exploring the aesthetics far beyond the boundaries of electro, techno and pop music.

While "Mistress 12" features completely new electro techno endeavors including "Technic Electric" from DVS1's Fabric 96 mix, the second 12-inch is a re-release of Rother’s Datapunk classic "Back Home" that comes with new vocal-centered interpretations, a never-ending acapella loop and two club edits by DVS1.

We’re extremely excited to have Scott Featherstone’s Beyond A Void project for our second release in our Secret Sun series.

On the A side of this multi colored piece of vinyl we have the track: Something Sinister. A brutal Drum & Bass collaboration between Fragz and Sinister Souls proving once again that Snares can be at least as powerful as kick drums. Tons of energy in this track and a massive drive!

We are delighted to welcome Hito to Footwork.

The talented unofficial ambassador of Japan’s sub-culture has created 2 bangers marked with her own distinctive sound. “White Tower” takes a Techno trip down memory lane, rolling out a sweet melody on a fat bassline. The melodic journey continues following an impactful path of 303 inspired elements on “Sonic”. Ultimately, we round off this EP with a massive, experimental remix of “White Tower” by Cologne-based producer Patrik Berg.

The third in the releases where label favourites are represented for today and backed with a remix / version by a contemporary producer of repute, presents 80s leftfield pop-rock band In Embrace. Appearing here are two versions of The Living Daylights, the original long version and a re-recorded live take, plus additional versions by Timothy J Fairplay.

Coming out of the midlands Post Punk / fanzine scene Gary Knight and friends formed the original incarnation of In Embrace in 1981. Picked up by Glass Records, the early, edgy live recording were re-proposed as Knight developed his 'non-musicianship' with an interest in the possibilities of the studio.

The original "Uncut" version takes it's anti-war themed vocal and lays it over a Jah Wobble inspired bassline and tense electronic rhythm. As it builds, the pressure mounts a visceral sense of oblivion of 9+ minutes of deep dubbing and repeating refrain.

Next to this the "Live In Studio" version sees the later 3 piece band replay it out in an energetic raw form that makes a worth addition. Handing the versions, plus backing tracks to Timothy J Fairplay offered a radical departure. His brooding Redub and Bonus mixes take the track to a darker place, drawing out the induced, relentless madness Knight always intended.

Delsin's Mantis series expands its remit with the arrival of Italian duo natural/electronic.system. Already well-established as connoisseurs of deep techno via releases on Tikita and years of DJing at places like Labyrinth festival, Antonio Giova and Valerio Gomez de Ayala present four luxurious sound baths that occupy a space between techno and ambient - always propulsive and rhythmical, but with a huge emphasis on space and harmony.

Tresor Records celebrates the return of Psyk on its catalogue, with his new album 'A Moment Before'. This is Psyk's first long player since his debut "Time Foundation" on Luke Slater's Mote Evolver imprint.
The Spanish producer released his first single for Tresor, 'Works' , in 2015. Four years later, the production of 'A Moment Before' comes as natural progression, within the cosmos of the Berlin techno mothership for Psyk.
The album is undoubtedly Psyk's most advanced piece of work to date. It dialogs with practices in reduced forms of techno, as originated by artists like Robert Hood, through the recently re-released "Internal Empire" on Tresor.

Tripeo collaborates with fellow Dutch artist Cadans on his self-titled imprint with three original cuts entitled ‘Non Perfect Drone Replication’.

Over the years, Darko Esser aka Tripeo has become a truly respected figure within the techno world. Widely known for helming his acclaimed Wolfskuil Records, BALANS and self-titled label where he’s released an array of his own impressive productions, Darko continues to edge out a corner of the techno sphere through a regular gig and release schedule that’s been of consistent quality for over 20 years. ‘Non Perfect Drone Replication’ marks Tripeo’s first release of the new decade seeing him link up with Dutch producer Cadans who has releases on Clone, Neighbourhood and Hardgroove (when not producing drum and bass as Icicle).

‘Drone’ begins with tense atmospheres and haunting leads underneath the humming percussion and oscillating synths that surge as the track progresses before ‘Non PC’ employs energetic rhythms underneath wavering modulations and spectral tones that keeps this peak-time cut enticing through till the end. To finish, ‘Perfect Replication’ offers up an electro cut that’s peppered with a nostalgic yet modern feel through breaky grooves, alleviating pads and stabbing tones.

The third chapter of Overbalance continues the journey through versatile techno shapes with 4 cuts from Unbalance, where signature sounds migrate from rush-hour energy to gloomy off-beat grooves and hypnotic textures. Conceptually balanced, emotionally overbalanced.

ZwaarteKracht are very proud to present the 3rd edition in the series, inviting some very unique and forward thinking artists.

The very prolific Zagreb-based producer Ivna Ji kicks off side “Z” mercilessly grooving a bassline down your spine like an itchy virus. Followed up close by Errorbeauty, who has been pushing boundaries through her own label Arkada Records (which she runs along with XOR12). Her track here displays some geniously organic machinerythms into an eerie dystopian escape.

On side “K”, Arsonist Recorder hosts this record with an invasion of microbug machinery in a heavily rocking track that continues to sonically outline the reactive views of this label, only to prepare the listener for UK-based producer and dj Kim Cosmik’s industrialised funk-anthem which concludes this release, masterfully drilling the beat into the floor with a rumbling subbass-message to society.

Distorted Sensory Perception is back with a journey of deep space exploration in the form of their 2nd Various Artists release ‘Outer Solar System’. Featuring a diverse selection of deeper Electro and Techno of the broken beat variety.

The A-side boasts a nostalgic stripped back yet progressive cut ‘Persistence’ from Maltese duo Moodex. Next up, a deep ethereal musical statement ‘Early Morning Hours’ from fellow Maltese producer Sound Synthesis in his unique style.

The B-side opens with the moody, new school heavy hitter ‘Impulse Control’ from French producer and label co-founder Oshkossh. The penultimate track ‘Brainacid v2’ comes in the form of dusty machine music from Italian newcomer Caramel Chameleon that is reminiscent of AFX ambient works. Last but by no means least the record is brought to an epic conclusion with the frantically emotive and intricate ‘Grny89’ from France's Foreign Sequence.

This new one on Art Of Dark comes from two sureshot producers with oodles of idiosyncratic flair folded into their sound. First up is Santiago Uribe, whose "This Is Only A Test" works some cheeky samples in amongst a massive rubbery bassline and some acidic stabs. "Momento Tenso" switches things up with a crisp break and some more melancholic synth work. Z@p then presides over the B side with some freaky, sharply executed techno spiced up with a melodic twist. "Phenomenology" brings the kind of weirdo groove Z@p is best known for, all wonky bleep lines and erratic synth wriggles over a solid rhythm section.

Phase presents two striking, no-nonsense techno cuts for TOKEN85. Each side of Suspended Animation delivers the special kind of face melter that manages to remain sincere without being overly self-serious. Stroke B favours the sensational approach, with a bright and playful lead playing against a hi-hat frenzy in the breakdown. Stroke C is more introverted on surface level, but offers pure chaos instead from its depth.

Dutch techno duo D&S - or Dennis & Stephan to their parents - hail from Rotterdam and have a penchant for the classic sounds of Detroit. Their previous releases on SK Black, Orbis Records, Indigo Aera's AEX compilations, ARTS and Girada Unlimited have earned them support from the likes of Adam Beyer, Marco Bailey and Ilario Alicante, and this tasty new EP for Abstract Reasoning looks set to find similar favour.

The pitter-patter of classic drum machine hi-hats drive the title track along with swooping, filtered pads and gentle licks of acid, the track gradually evolving into a veritable bubble bath of 303 goodness and gated synth swells. Incidence continues the theme, with gentle cymbal rides splashing over continually evolving acid blips and bleeps while mystical waves of chord melody envelope your senses in a foggy haze.

The second half of the EP flips the script beautiful with two broken beat tracks that show they have a real prowess for melody as well as rhythm. Lost In Sequence's thumping kicks are punctuated by the rolling tribal percussive elements and looming, sorrowful pads. Intricate rhythms and beautiful use of reverb and other FX create a dreamy atmosphere throughout. Partisan sees a morphing, resonant synth motif pulse over another pleasingly thick kick rhythm, and swirling, ethereal layers of atmosphere. All in all it's a superb release that has something for the dancefloor as well as the home stereo.

Some five years after re-launching his Crayon label via a fine EP of vintage "Tracks From The Vault", original 1990s tech-house producer Mark Ambrose serves up more gems from his bulging archives. The quality threshold remains dizzyingly high throughout. Check first "Nightshift (Deeper Mix)", where gentle, alien synth lines and deep space chords tumble down over a heavy analogue bassline and locked-in beats, before turning your attention to the slamming techno beats, looped electronics and mind-mangling TB-303 motifs of "Dusty Acid". Also impressive is "Space Animals", a deliciously dubbed-out affair rich in sub bass and drifting, deep space chords.

Releasing his first ever vinyl release 'El Sunset' on James Holden's, Border Community back in 2007, Chilean producer Ricardo Tobar has since been held in high regard by the seminal UK producer. Intricately constructing his way around the parameters of emotionally-lead, highly atmospheric electronic music, Ricardo has brought his sound forward to grace the rosters of Jennifer Cardini's, Correspondant, ESP Institute and MUSAR Recordings. Continuing to extend his already significant discography, he now returns to MUSAR Recordings for a third time with the 'After The Movie' EP.

Ricardo's 'After The Movie' EP forms a selection of cuts that have been held in his locker for quite some time. Uncovered by MUSAR Recordings label head, David on a podcast from way back, it seemed only natural that this unreleased music from Ricardo would find its home on the Amsterdam-Tel-Aviv label.

"This EP is quite special to me because it reflects a long timeline in my work. The 'After The Movie' track had been in the vault for ages until David from MUSAR found it in an old podcast; it really takes me back to those first steps in recording music." Ricardo Tobar

Across his EP, Ricardo plays with varying textures and arrangements that in turn provide a cross-section of his sound that has expanded and developed over time. 'After The Movie' presents the experimental ambience synonymous with his early works, whilst 'Parques' brings an idyllic, cinematic feel with strictly crafted synth arrangements riding high, post-rock influences also show through. 'Regain Your Power' represents a change of course, whilst also channeling a political message punctuated by social unrest taking place in Ricardo's home country, Chile. He abandons experimentalism in favour of tougher 4x4 elements, allowing his machines to run riot.

Stepping up on the remix is a pair whose names are etched into the history of UK electronic music, Andy Turner and Ed Handley a.k.a. Plaid. Reworking title track 'After The Movie', they produce an emotive, soundscape complete with droning basslines and ex-terrestrial flourishes.

One of Poland's freshest exports, if you don't know already, this is Sept and with his 'Mental Statement' EP for our 6th edition. 3x XXL bombs complimented with a heavyweight Joe Farr remix.

Warsaw's Sept is undoubtedly ready for a busy future, emerging well respected from his local scene to becoming an international talent. This ep is an example of some his best pieces to date, in fact they are beasts for the dancefloor. The title track Mental Statement, holds a kinetic energy with an infectious and menacing hook line, along with a taunting vocal 'Live, Die, Repeat'. Bristolian Joe Farr reworks the mayhem in his signature style, adding distortion, hooks and a multitude of devilish drops.

On the flipside more WMD's for the bag, 'Exhale' is a relentless naughty stomper that will slide well into any peak time. As will its dark horse counterpart 'Unleash', never more appropriate has been the saying... last, but not least. This is the type of carnage we endeavour to deliver in our movement, already this track has erupted many a rave played by a select few, with its 90's Jungle like break down, its been begging a track ID for time and now it's out there...

SC016 sees the re-issue of four tracks taken from a little known cassette only release ‘Diet Of Germs’ by British artist and friend Adam Oko. Originally released in 2015 on the now defunct Astro:Dynamics label the four tracks were recorded in Adam’s bedroom studio overlooking Clissold Park in Stoke Newington, London.

Now based in Tokyo but having spent most of his life living between London & Canterbury, as well as producing music and running a regular radio show on NTS radio, Adam also makes mixed media artwork and designs installations & interiors.

All instruments on ‘Diet Of Germs’ were performed by Adam himself except the solo on Suketo which was played by Raven Bush - Kate Bush’s nephew & was actually recorded in Kate’s old studio in South London.

10 tracks by Japanese ambient musician Toshifumi Hinata. Right on point!

'Broken Belief' brings together a selection of recordings by Japanese multi-instrumentalist Toshfumi Hinata drawn from a body of work originally recorded between 1985-1987. Attending Berklee College of Music after spending time living in both the United States and the United Kingdom, Hinata would study under the tutelage of pianist Patricia Laliberte, graduating from the esteemed American school in 1982. Returning to Japan after becoming disillusioned with his classical training, Hinata experimented with many different forms of music. Moving away from depending simply on acoustic instruments, he would instead become entrenched in the possibilities of the latest analog synthesizers being developed at the time.

Toshifumi Hinata's initial idea was to make his first album with just a Prophet 5 and Linn Drum Machine. Tweaking filters and creating intricate sequences, Hinata would record various sounds on analog tapes and overdub many different layers; recording violin, piano and other accompaniments separately later on. It would become a method of working for the musician which he would apply almost entirely throughout this period. A deeply submerged process; one in which he would seek, as he himself puts it, to "weave musical images".

Toshifumi Hinata would go on to record several more albums released only on CD throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, after which he focused mainly on music for TV dramas, commercials and documentaries. Now living in Tokyo he is almost exclusively focused on creating music for documentaries. The period of work released between 1985-1987 is one though that was not only a rich moment in the history of Hinata himself but of Japanese music and electronic music in general.

Transparent Sound founder Orson Bramley and now solo artist delivers a powerful come back in 2019 with a strem of stong releases coming on Orson. Electrix and Pressure Traxx. Ideal Audio presents the fourth and final instalment of Oliver Huntemann and Dubfire's seminal ELEMENTS series. These techno heavyweights have worked together on numerous projects over the years, but it is their Elements collaborations that have shone impressively as a complete body of work. AGUA is the final piece of the music puzzle and completes the series that first saw the light of day back in 2010 with the scorching FUEGO. 

2011 brought us TERRA, firm and powerful with its devastating breakdown. 2013 saw us breathe in the mystical AIRE, harnessing the elements of the previous tracks to build a fresh and magical moment. AGUA, as its name suggests, flows effortlessly, helped in no small part by the sultry vocal of Xenia Beliayeva, but kicks in equal measure. 

Signing off in such style has also lead to Ideal Audio drafting in some heavy weight talent on the remixes. Carl Craig, under his C2 moniker, dives straight in to strip the original to its core. A single drum beat, siren, clap... and then the kick. Petar Dundov twists the original's elements into a bubbling acidic stream that washes over us.  An impressive package for an impressive finale!

Debuting on Rekids, Laurent Garnier & Chambray collaborate for a colossal single entitled ‘Feelin’ Good’ featuring two outstanding remixes from label owner Radio Slave.

Having supported Rekids for many years in his sets across the globe, it only made sense for Laurent Garnier to drop one of his finest productions to date on the label. Although the legendary Frenchman has kept busy producing movie soundtracks (‘Paris Est A Nous’) and remixes in recent years, this is his first full release since 2017. He’s joined in the studio by Chambray, a Berlin-based producer known for releasing on Figure, Unknown To The Unknown and Jimmy Edgar’s Ultramajic.

Opening with sporadic battle cries, stabbing claps and powerful bass sequences before rapturous piano melodies come into effect – ‘Feelin’ Good’ is undoubtedly one of this year’s biggest tracks. On the flip, Radio Slave assembles two contrasting remixes that do just as much damage: the first is an atmospheric
number that marches forward using precision kicks, rattling percussion and rising pads, whilst the ‘Revenge Mix’ cranks things up a notch with its crunchy breaks before introducing the original’s blissful keys.

Having made initial waves on Cold Recordings and Osiris, Eric Baldwin returns now to Tectonic to release his eponymous album ’Cocktail Party Effect’, bringing his South London roots to Berlin for an all-weekender, under strobe lights.

Drawn by his appetite for powerful rhythmical forms and inspired by the likes of Daphne Oram, The Residents and Captain Beefheart - Eric takes uses background in sound design, knowledge of hacking VST software and adapted spring reverbs and other hardware, to create a truly unique vision of contemporary electronic music. It sits somewhere between Jeff Mills, Aphex Twin & Squarepusher - held together by a connective UK Bass Music spinal chord. A weird but intriguing beast.

We open the track with Japanese cocktail recipes, before moving into the only vocal track of the album, ‘Talking To Bricks’ featuring Bristol vocalist Redders on fine form - charged with disjointed energy and run ragged across a technologically charged dancehall style beat. The LP progresses through the rolling breaks and bleeps of ‘For The Memory Exchange’, into an IDM side-step in the shape of ‘Brutalism’, moving into the gentle, beautiful flickering glitches of ‘PDA’, before we get to the hyperactive twitching alien charge of ‘War On Codex’.

Taking a leap in another direction, we reach ‘Cause For Bad Shelving’, which sounds a bit like Squarepusher when he was on late 90s, immaculate form - taking the tempo up a few notches, while building melancholy. ‘Lack Of Wrong Format’ then gives us a moment to breathe, before diving into ‘Deerhorn’ which brings us right back to the dancefloor. Things are then turned inside out with the jittery wonder of ‘I Get It (Lost Banknote)’, redirected via the industrial clangs of ‘Low_Rise’, before rounding off our sonic adventure with the ponderous tones of ‘Loner’ - which leave you glowing and drifting off into space.

A bold album that’s just brim with a strong sense of originality, direction and grand narrative. From international dancefloors to post-clubbing ear-worms, Cocktail Party Effect is just getting started and you’ll be hearing his name more and more now.

As Juno so nicely put it. “There is little to nothing that we know about the enigmatic Facket Strejkar, but what we're hearing is certainly placing the producers firmly onto our radars, and we expect plenty of imitators to come busting through real soon”.

Here they are once again with no shame attached. You can call it what you want but they put out everything from synth-pop to proper techno bangers in their own way. This time they deliver a tune that is more ebm than ebm should be. Proper basslines with killer vocals and a twisted “Brighton techno” riff. Old meets old meets something new.

On top off that they have scored some brilliant remixes. First off is the legendary green haircut guy from the Depeche101 movie who we call Oliver Chesler aka The Horrorist. Bringing the 909 hardcore back to where it always should have been.

Second up is the magnificent diva Bizz O.D. whom we haven’t seen since the mid 90´s when she got lost in new york running the classic Temple Records shop. But she keeps on sending us lost DAT tapes and come and play for our parties from time to time. Diva funk.

Last but not least we have the wonderful Blush Response from the Aufnahme + Widergabe and Sonic Groove fame and lately also been working as a part of Front Line Assembly. Mental Cuban industtrial digital punk, yes its a genre from now on, at its best.

Tight well produced Berlin techno by Oleg Mass and Mike Dehnert. Oleg, the ideological representative of Ukrainian techno-flow from Donetsk makes his label debut (incl.Mike Dehnert Remix) on Fachwerk Records with a heavy rotation EP

It's almost hard to believe that the original series of "Planetary Funk" 12"s by Planetary Assault Systems dates back to the early 1990s, given the continued relevance of this hard-edged suite of tracks, and their ease of integration into present-day techno sets. Characterized by their unflagging momentum and by almost militaristic deployment of techno's atomic particles - submachine-gun handclaps, acid-soaked bass patterns, the icy chatter of ride and hi-hat cymbals - the spirit of these tracks has never really vacated the club scene. The 21st century re-activation of the Planetary Funk moniker isn't a nostalgic look backwards so much as an expansion of its original mission.

Leading off the proceedings on this first volume is "Dungeon," a 1997 original from P.A.S. which already shows this unit transitioning from the fierce, frantic atmosphere of the earlier Planetary Funk EPs into something more akin to the project's present-day approach: not more "laid back" by a long shot, but more mesmerizing and loaded with anticipation. The repeated slow fade-in and detuned drop-out of a wasp-like hum is just one fascinating feature of this eerie track, which also includes other ephemeral activities occurring on the perimeter and a glassy rhythmic figure which snares your concentration and refuses to let go.

The Ø (Phase) remix of "Dungeon" also takes the listener to a dark place of uncertainty and possible hidden dangers, but with more vigor and percussive intensity added to the mix: with an extra (over)dose of vibrato added to the signature hum from the original, with more force added to the kick drums, and more variety in the dialogue between other percussive strikes, listening to this paint-peeling, stomping creation is an exhilarating man-machine experience like snaking a motorbike at high speed through gridlocked traffic.

Not to be outdone, Ben Sims appears on the scene as well with a re-envisioning of "Gated," from the first Planetary Funk A-side. Retaining all the controlled chaos which made this track a classic, Sims adds more of his own fuel to the fire by downtuning the bass, re-adjusting the tempo and adding extra distortion on the slamming kicks. Utilizing a full complement of additional tension-building techniques, Sims doesn't try to upstage the original but does try to show a definite evolutionary process at work. In fact, the whole record is a celebration of this evolution, showing how Planetary Funk has naturally adapted to strange new times, but has kept its soul and character intact.

Techno partisan #1 Sev Dah comes back with another trio of trademark no-nonsense techno tools. 1999 takes you back to 1998 with its subtly funky, bleepy groove, the kind of track that will just always work. Rumble adds a playful touch with its ever changing patterns, and Numbers rounds out the EP with yet another powerful tool, aided by a hypnotic vocal loop.

With 25 years of mercurial electronics under his belt, it's a joy to welcome Edinburgh's Dave Paton for Dream Ticket's fourth release. This is a clear-cut case of big things coming in small packages: on the A, both slices of elegant pressure level up mid-track into their evolved forms; while on the B, Miami bass and Texan electro continually mutate into ever more extravagant versions of themselves. 2-for-1 never sounded so expensive.

Ninurta" is a combination of classic deep house vibes & contemporary sounds that transport you directly to a typically hot summer night on a Barcelonian dancefloor driven forward by a irresistible groove.

The B side "Enkimdu" is a slowed down techno burner with a powerful electric bassline designed to get that party started.

The Norwegian duo Trulz & Robin (Full Pupp, Eskimo, Cymasonic / Cymawax) has remixed "Ninurta", converting it to a of more than ten minute dub techno journey with a groove that invites you to move.

On the other hand, Pablo Bolivar has made his particular vision of "Enkimdu" bringing the issue to the center of the dance floor with his deeply personal mix of house and techno.

After only a tiny time-out Cómeme can't help but remain restless and return even more internationalist than before, since this EP brings together artists from Moscow, Medellin and Cologne, as well as guests from Spain. First album in 8 years from legendary Dearborn duo . Windy and Carl have been crafting inner space electric guitar and bass vistas for nearly three decades now, but their latest feels as vital and vaporous as any peak opus in their vast catalog. Written and recorded across six years, the songs swirl between shoegaze minimalism and stargaze drift, over which Windy Weber whispers veiled poetic narratives of transformation, isolation, and escape. Allegiance and Conviction is their first album since 2012's We Will Always Be. The six compositions are something of outlier in their catalog, shorter in nature than most on their previous releases. All of the tracks are saturated with Hultgren's signature guitar work, intimate constructions of murmurs, drones and his trademark layered filigree, gently amassed into alternately lighter and heavier than air atmospheres. There are so many elements and layers in Birdsmakingmachine Remix of ¨Natansa¨ that make this such an infectious listen. Music just for fine listeners.

Natansa Bala Original is essentially an eight-minute loop, it's the kind of cut you could play from start to finish in the right setting. Intricate drums, a live-sounding bassline and a analogic effects combine for a perfect banger that will surely be getting rinsed for some time.

This Decemeber sees Marc Miroir release his second album entitled 'Identity Kit' on Paso Music,
featuring Elif Bicer, Adam Schilling and Hard Ton for eight immersive originals.

Berlin based artist Marc Miroir has garnered much praise over the years as a DJ, producer and label boss.
As a DJ, he has ranked highly in annual DJ polls, leading to bookings by Frankfurt's Cocoon Club and
Space Ibiza and as a producer he's featured on labels such as aras, Enough! and Bondage. All the while,
Marc Miroir has kept himself busy at the helm of his own label too, Paso Music, which he launched in 2005
with Sebrok & Jo Spallek, featuring seminal releases like David Mayer's 'Fortune', Distale's 'Freee' and
Marc Mirior's own 'Kraft'.

The bouncing 'Love Me Again' featuring Elif Bicer kick starts the album in style with sultry vocals and

with spacious atmospherics to create a celestial mood.

'Tenacity' marks the half way point with a hypnotic bass line and eerie vocal triggers kept in place by driven
909 rhythms before 'Intakt' offers up a robotic sounding, techno tinted slow burner. 'Persis Dance' fills
grooving atmospheres with off-kilter chords to create a feeling of emotional suspense, then 'Integrity'
presents firing 4/4 beats submerged by dark and deep underwater textures. To conclude this lucid and
visceral album is 'Action Painting' featuring Hard Ton, which trades in aquatic sounds for a heady acidic
feel.

Release number 3 for the techno side of WHERE WE MET, SPAZIOTEMPO. The Italian crew invites an iconic duo, the lovely Elisa and Gary aka Station Rose from Vienna.

The mini LP starts with 3 avant-garde bangers restored from the past. Gunafa 2000 merges early '90ies techno with psy elements and irresistible grooves, then Telepresence kicks in with its trance ish melodies and tunneling grooves. The third one on the side is Moto Tataete, a pure acid banger!

The B side contains 4 new tracks that marks the evolution of Station Rose. Tacke is an hypnotic techno tool, followed by the mesmerizing dub grooves of Alto. The trip continues with 809, that takes your mind to further places, and ends with OTreggae, an electro ride that brings you back to planet earth.

Between the vast flatlands of Western Ukraine and the Pacific shores of Vladivostok, a new quirky techno underground has been racking up hefty grid rhythms below the radar. Initially free from the weekend routines of the established club circuit, producers from Etapp Kyle to Stanislav Tolkachev have been experimenting with the possibilities of shifting grids in their post-socialist bedroom studios. The interconnecting conduit of these geographically isolated minds has often been the radio show of Nikita Zabelin, a Moscow-based DJ mining the local torrents for treasures. Vladimir Dubyshkin is one premier example of how this culture yields wildly exciting finds. Listening to how sweepingly effective his de-centered vision of techno is, it's hard to believe that this actually is his first fully fledged vinyl release. Hailing from Tambov, a city of 280.000 souls 460 km southeast of Moscow, Vladimir Dubyshkin is a regular of Zabelin's show and has contributed tracks to two compilations on Nina Kraviz's TRIP label - another major force in bringing great techno from the fringes of the former Soviet Union to the attention of the world. The "For Various Reasons EP", coming in two separate installments, now shows the full picture of Dubyshkin's special talents. Highly energetic, rave-infested analog techno with de-tuned melodies rubbing against take-no-prisoners basslines. There is an intense emotional component present at all times, typically missing in Western grayscale techno. And once again, the great promise of participation of techno has been proved alive and well, with the freshest contribution coming from the least expected of places.

Amsterdam-based duo Wanderwelle presents their fourth full-length album titled A State Of Decrepitude. Inspired by the many aspects of impermanence and facets of decay, the duo composed their most intrinsic and detailed production yet.

After two successful albums on Silent Season and a recent collaboration album with Bandhagens Musikforening on Semantica, Phil van Dulm & Alexander Bartels have applied their talents to create a mysterious soundtrack focussed on the countless faces of deterioration. Recorded in 2018, Wanderwelle's first electroacoustic album is an anthological approach to a theme that is inseparable from our current global crises.

Her return was imminent. Now she's back, and like her current rise among the industries elite, Amelie Lens delivers an astonishing three tracker of her signature pulse pounding expeditions. Pair that with a massive remix from the legendary Perc and you've got 'Stay With Me', an EP headed straight for the charts. Right from the start Lens dives into the ethereal with 'Follow Me' which could be her deepest cut to date.

As atmospheric shimmers dance around endless spaces, her smooth and seductive voice coax you to follow her, close your eyes and give your trust before a booming low end and relentless percussion forge a dreamy trek into the unknown. Following 'Follow Me' is the perfect response as Amelie embraces her affinity for the heavy with 'Stay With Me' where swirling acid lines and gargantuan drums lead you into a trance like state of absolute frenzy.

Flipping to the B-Side we see the fabled Perc deliver an absolute monster remix of 'Stay With Me' as he tightly loops the vocal & lays it over a pleasantly brutal beat and dazzling rises of white noise to create a track that will demolish dance floors for eternity. Wrapping things up is 'Winter' named after Amelie's mischievous little feline who most know via social media as her 'studio partner'.

Like a cat 'Winter' retains a playful and energetic pace with a dash of frisky trouble all while maintaining the seriousness of Amelie's signature sound. All in all, this release is a monumental attest to
Lens' meteoric rise as one of Techno's most promising new faces.

Electro elegance from the masterful Carl Finlow on his third outing on Craigie Knowes with 4 deep and unique electro tracks. 'Descent' bringing us below he waterline while 'Undertones' drags us down on a colourful journey to the uncertain deep, turbulent currents roll through 'Cascade' before reaching the twilight zone for the fantastic 'Displaced'. Carl Finlow has built a reputation on taking listeners to the stars and the future, but this record beckons us to the icy deep and the distant past. Third time is the charm it seems.

For the second instalment, Deepspace takes us down from the neon skyline to the hum of surface drones and tesla waves seeping through the circuit boards of the megacity. It's the slogan for our new robot overlords as we punch into cellular devices. The gradual seeping of billboard acid frequencies into the bloodstream as mutants whistle out from ventilation shafts. A hazy bygone recollection of biological matter as we sink into concrete, junk and mechanical S&M.

Next Libertine featuring Madrid talented artist Do Or Die who delivers a very interesting album with various shades of his style from techno to acid and italo-disco influenced tracks.

"I and Donato always send each others the tracks we make and exchange feedbacks on what we do, but when He sent me this music for the first time for me it's been love at first listen in a way i had never experienced before with his music. i wasn't even thinking i would be the one to release it back then...i just totally fell in love with these tracks when i heard them and was overly excited to the idea of playing them out, that's it. The funny thing is that till now i have been the only one on this planet to play them, Donato himself hasn't played out any and i was reporting to him on a regular basis and almost in real time the reactions of the people on the dancefloor when i would drop Cleo as last track on my sets and on how people would fall in a state of total ecstasy (not the drug, but the state of mind) while listening and dancing to it...i would tell him: "Donato...i don't think you quite realise what you have done...this stuff is just something else, it's beyond...the people are just melting when i play it!". So these tracks have grown in me in a very personal and deep way, and despite the fact that they are of course made 100% by Donato i almost developed a sense of emotional ownership towards this music, not in a way that i claimed the right to release them...(i have actually never asked him to give them to me) but in a way that i was feeling these tracks so much, that my love for them almost became an extension of the tracks themselves...and i think at some stage he felt this himself and one day this summer after that, again, for maybe the 20th time, i told him how amazing it was when i played them in my last set at the time he just told me "I think it is right that you release them, Marco. they are for you, they belong to you"...so as far as i'm concerned these will always be forever my very own Dozzy tracks, and it's a real honor and and a landmark for me and for my label to be able to release this record." For our next release we joint forces with our friends from the 31337 Crew. The three tracks from Echoton unite drifty grooves and organic minimal accents. The second and third piece are collabo tracks with Sven Laux and Pachyderme and they focus on laid back hypnotic groove - like a trippy somnambul session through badlands. Keep an ear on the creative output of these great guys! Yarn Records' third release comes hand stamped in a recycled paper bag with a sticker and a length of 27 minutes. After 1/2 GOTT comes GOTT. Once again, Sneaker from Dresden/Berlin and Scannoir from Zurich have locked themselves up in the studio to translate their love for EBM and dark synth pop into striking dance floor material. The successor to their debut EP on Uncanny Valley, which introduced open-minded dancers to the self-proclaimed New Swiss Wave last year opens up with TOTAL KOMMANDER, a hard rocking drum workout that makes you want to march ahead of a demonstration after you'll leave the club. EN BLICK UFS MATTERHORN is a tribute to playful Minimal Synth and a declaration of love to the fun that two like-minded people have when producing music. And then we have PASSION, a 15-minute monster of a track, that carries all the qualities of GOTT to the extreme: unique arrangements with a surprising build-up, whipping drum work and an atmosphere that can be both intimidating and soothing.

Once in a while, music with such profound audio spiritual healing qualities, combined with the essence of funk, arrive from the cosmos.. This time round, Helen Copnall becomes the conduit for AER, delivering a deeply powerful set of emotive, moving frequencies that are unrivalled in their honesty & integrity.
