Tribal psychedelic tribe, at the Trancy frontier... with an experimental size awaking the hardness as well as the naivless scale. Difficult cult ! Enjoy ! And finally The Illusionist will reward the patient mlistenners with his kicker mental morphing. To seem simple is not so easy.
Led By Nigel Ayers And Caroline K, The Band Was One Of The First To Use Tape Cutting, Avant-garde Art, And Underground Video Works To Create A Stage Experience That Was Being Cultivated By Like-minded Artists Like Throbbing Gristle, Spk And Cabaret Voltaire.
Originally Self Released In 1988 On Earthly Delights, Spiritflesh' Is A Masterpiece And A Major Reference For The Early Drone/dark Ambient Minds.
By The Time The Album Came Out, Nocturnal Emissions Had Already Produced Several Albums Of Electronic Music Which Varied From Noisy To Funky. Displaying His Usual Perversity, Nigel Chose To Ditch Electronic Dance Music Immediately Before The Acid House Revolution And Produce A Series Of Utterly Compelling Atmospheric Albums Which Are Often Referred To These Days As Being 'ambient Industrial'.
"spiritflesh" Was The First Offering By The New Shape Of Nocturnal Emissions. The Record 'came Out Of A Long, Hard Thinking, A Personal Examination Of My Own Motives For Working Within Music.' Nigel Ayers Played Church Harmonium, Chime And Music Box On The Record, And Used Samples Of Chimpanzees, Cattle, And African And European Wild Birds. While Generally Ambient, The Music Is Not Like Brian Eno's Work; It Is Atmospheric, But Impossible To Relegate To The Background.
'there's Always A Dangerous Intrusion Of The Real World Into Our Music,' Ayers Said. 'we're Looking Into The Relationship Between People And The Environment, The Kind Of Feedback Which Happens Between People And Locations. Underneath It All, This Planet Has Got Its Own Message.'
Echocord's Colour sub-label continues this November with Seph's 'Teleport' EP, featuring three originals from the Argentinian producer.
Buenos Aires born producer Sebastian Gelante aka Seph has been kicking up a storm in the Techno world since the turn of the millennium releasing material on labels such as Dumb Unit, Harry Klein, Items & Things, his own Aula Magna imprint and now he joins the Echocord roster on sub-label Echocord Colour following recent releases from Luke Hess and Stephen Brown.
Across the 'Teleport' EP Seph delivers his signature smooth, dubbed out and intricate style andthe title-track takes the lead with billowing pads, bumpy off- kilter rhythms and choppy stab sequences galore before 'Delta' strips back the vibe to raw drums and murky synth textures while ethereal pads ebb and flow through the composition. 'Motion' rounds out the package on the flip side, taking a straighter approach rhythmically this time round to allow the snaking dub stabs, rumbling low-end tones and evolving hats to take the lead throughout.

Vactrol Park are Kyle Martin and Guido Zen. Besides responsible for 2 unforgettable eps on ESP Institute in 2015 & 2016 under this alias, Kyle and Guido are prolific producers, with Kyle being part of Spectral Empire (alongside Black Merlin), as well as half of Land of Light (with Johnny Nash) and more, while Guido has been producing under the alias of Brain Machine amongst others. Since Malka Tuti has been a fan of all of the above, it is no surprise the duo found its way into the ever growing family. With an LP scheduled later in 2018, this EP, self titled, is a door into the sound of Vactrol Park and its evolution - ever deeper, abstract, and mature. Always clear, coherent and flowing, never boring. Expect big things from this duo, as their live show, incorporating self-built modular synths and effects is destined for greatness....

Float and Balans producer Hemka joins Matt Edwards' Rekids Special Projects with three technocuts entitled 'The Portrait of Nina Sayers'.
Marseille born producer and DJ, Hemka is one of the most promising techno artists based in Paris. Her fast paced rhythmical sound has an emotional, psychedelic twist which has seen her release on Darko Esser's Balans and TWR72's Float Records, with support from the upper echelons like Rebekah, Dasha Rush and ROD. As a DJ she's shared the stage with figures like Len Faki, Surgeon and James Ruskin and is a regular at Parisian clubs like Concrete and REX, not to mention the French festival circuit, when not performing all over Europe. She now joins the Rekids Special Projects series, following artists like P.Leone, DJ Spider, Tripeo and DJ Deep.
'Doppelgänger' features a damaging kick under disjointed piano melodies to establish an eerie aesthetic, before 'Countdown' offers emotive pads and twisted bleeps that evolve amidst shuffling drums. Finally, 'The Portrait Of Nina Sayers' escalates in tension with an arpeggiated melody, pumping kicks and firm snares.

We are happy to welcome a true classic to our label, none other than Jeroen Search, a true veteran with countless pivotal releases on the best labels out there.
On this occasion, he has delivered four cuts of sci-fi techno, starting with the direct "Frontal Lobe", which boasts alien pulses, crispy hi hats and rides, and white noise galore. "Presentism" takes us paradoxically to the future: its synth bleeps, 909 classic beats and a lot of delay make it the perfect mixing tool.
"Time Loop" is a journey into robotic landscapes, with a high pitched sequence, the usual Roland drum artillery and the funkiness and rawness of the early Chicago days.
Rounding off the release, "Inward Force" paces down the beat, adds dreamy frequencies, resonant bubbles and an enormous tom on a spacey and floaty vibe.

The latest from the Galdoors stable: Cafe Nostalgia takes off, a pumping slab of bubbling bleeps and bass with creeping pads to chew on as you go. Conclusions Like Curtains keeps up the pace on the B-side - driving arpeggiator-tech with FM tweaks and washes taking it deeper. Looped-up rounds off, with layers of restless, twittering snippets wrapping you up in a wigged out groove. One-to-watch from Junes on his own imprint.

The four tracks on this EP represent a bit of a transitional phase for Louis Jaquet (aka Kid Who), marking a move from a basic setup with an MPC2000XL sampler and a computer to a fully-fledged hardware studio. The initial versions of these tracks were quick jams that he had made early on in this change, but which had lay dormant on his hard drive for some time, before being revisited and reworked for this release with the new equipment.
'Rhythm Code' began life as an exercise in using only freely distributed software synths, and the majority of those sounds are still there, bar some additional acid sequences and tweaks to the rhythm parts.
On 'ZF Cut' his focus switched to samples, in an effort to squeeze the most he could out of his MPC, which at the time had only recently been upgraded. The unassuming beige box gives colour to anything you feed into it (breakbeats in particular), and a host of basic onboard effects add further quirky character, in this case hollow drones and rumbles which are the core of the track.
One of Kid Who's early purchases was a cheap old Yamaha multitrack cassette recorder, which presents many opportunities for sound manipulation. Different tape speeds, tape types and manual manipulation during playback open up a world of noisy, woozy atmospheres, some of which formed the basis of 'Spool Night'.
Of all four, 'Timescape' required the least revising, and the version presented here is very close to the original, 100% computer-based draft. Although the beat was built with Roland 707 drum machine sounds, a staple of early Chicago house records, he wanted to juxtapose these with a more up-to-date techno aesthetic, with a handful of final touches added in the new studio to finish
Five cuts inspired by Research & Destroy's text of the same name, which circulated in the midst of a walk-out at the University of California in 2009, and underlined a crisis of autonomy in higher education. The label founder's second solo release on Brenda attempts to depict this anxiety, waste and make-believe.

of Liro and Etro Hahn. They disconnect from the massive and show the more verbose and subterranean side of the true Electronic Under Chilean formula. With the invitation of a great
artist like Luc Ringeisen, they close with a rhythmic Remix with flashes of sounds that refresh and accentuate the call to the track of a good club. This is an eclectically created Ep of Electronic Music for Electronic Ears.

Seb Zito is one of the essential pillars of the FUSE London crew and his productions always pack plenty of attitude. Drawing inspiration from rave records of the 90s, he returns to the label with The Source EP, a no nonsense two tracker.
The title track is razor sharp starting with a solid kick and a skippy pads before meandering through breakbeat at halftime. The One heads down a deeper road, but still pays homage to classic rave with a propulsive, low-slung bassline and soaring, dizzying pads remerging post-breakdown with a series of breakneck claps. Another great release from this great talent!
Belgium DJ / Producer ED1999 kicks off the debut release for his newly minted 'Porpax' imprint with 'Melodius Hubbub, a 4-track EP of hypnotic dark Techno saturated with modular wizardry. The release confidently displays ED1999's production power as well as the serious direction the label is aimed at taking. The music featured clearly inspired by the energy found in Tbillisi, Berlin, Detroit and anywhere else heavy duty underground music is celebrated.
'Path Of Hope' is a punchy mover heavy on the reverb, with washes of metallic gray atmospherics floating in and out of the steady analogue drum patterns. The track grows in energy throughout with additional claps, hi hats and melodies generating an absolutely effective tension building weapon.
Title track 'Melodius Hubbub' is pure hypnotic Techno at its absolute finest. Black as midnight elements drive the energy to dark territories. ED1999's perfectly positioned sonic peaks and valleys of thick musical textures ensure the dancefloor never loses a moment getting lost in the incredibly positioned hypnosis of sound.
'Winding Course' is centered around a gurgling synth ride which gives the track an uneasy and twisted vibe throughout. Additional melodic effects join the main synth, adding a romantic sense of danger and dancefloor movement. Akin to ED1999's brilliant ability to keep his music restrained and effective for serious club-goers.
'Sleazy Nook' is the darkest of the dark tracks found on the release, with shudder inducing effects and ice cold soundscapes residing alongside the winding rhythms. A truly intense breakdown midway through the track generates a clever sense of sinking, with only the kick drum returning to keep people safe from going under.
Erol Alkan invites two of electronic music's most exciting producers to expand on both sides of his first solo single in five years, 'Spectrum' and 'Silver Echoes'. Techno-mastermind Matrixxman adds serious pressure to 'Spectrum' on his remix, upping the tempo and utilising the original's halcyon synth line to create a high-energy version with moments of pure sensation. One of the most original and promising underground producers of the last few years, Machine Woman delivers two contrasting reimaginings. Going deep and psychedelic on the 'Minimal Machine Woman Remix' of 'Silver Echoes', and then on the 'True Machine Woman Remix' reversing the tempo entirely, reinventing the melancholy cut as a erratic freakout.

It's my great pleasure to announce the second release on LFT, and my debut record as my birth name, Jordon Alexander, 'THE HEART IS A LONELY HUNTER'.
These songs were written over the last couple months of what was one of, if not the most turbulent, formative and important years of my life. These songs are about self-discovery, who I am and who I want to be.
I thought they were the perfect introduction to all the new material I have coming in 2019, as Mall Grab, and Jordon Alexander.
'More Than I Ever Thought I Could' is an electro-esque excursion which has been serving as a last track in many of my sets and I've been waiting to share since it was recorded. The b side 'The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter' named after Carson Mcullers' 1940 novel, samples the film adaptation and is a melancholy instrumental journey recalling endless hours spent daydreaming looking out train and car windows around the globe.

A doctor by day and a musician by night, Leon x Leon has been producing songs in his
Parisian home studio since 2013, where house, italo-disco and boogie are mixing. When he
was younger, he was immersed in music by taking jazz drum lessons at the conservatory,
and especially by seeing his father, a sound engineer, who had been building his own
synthesizers since the 1970s. As a tribute, he used one of these unique synthesizers on a
title of the disc.
After a remarkable remix of Cerrone's "Funk Makossa" and several tracks on various from
'Red Laser Disco', he released his project My Solar Brass on the same English label in
2017. Organizer of many Parisian parties, he also participated in the founding of the
publishing label 'Good Plus". With the release of Rokanbo on Cracki Records, Leon x
Leon signs a mature EP with the influence of different styles.
The first eponymous title is a manifesto mixing Acid, House and Zouk. As soon as we
launch the track, the pop & acid 80's sounds takes us to another world... A UFO from the
Islands! The other parts of the EP don't leave us in the lurch! 'Formant Sweep' delivers a
soft and groovy bass that responds to an endless, spatial synthetic takeoff. On 'Red
Footpath', the harder kick cleverly blends with an atmospheric blanket and a bright, lively
flute solo straight from an abandoned piece of bamboo on a deserted beach. After that,
'Jungle Juice' lets a crazy keyboard solo resonate in the middle of tropical fauna and flora,
and finally on 'Horizon', the EP ends in beauty with an airy atmosphere. This last piece
sounds like a beautiful sunset at the end of a long summer day.
Through all these tracks, Rokanbo EP offers us a clever contrast between synthetic notes
and the warmth of tropical groove, and places our gaze towards the horizon, seeking the
groove to disturb its line on the infinite sea.
Matt Whitehead needs no introduction here on Super Rhythm Trax and for this outing, he's joined by No Data Available (fresh from a recent outing on Null & Void) and together they've come up with something super special.
'Sahara' and 'Temple Of Set' conjure strong images that match their respective titles with the mood alternating between majestic and mystical. Masterpieces.
These two tracks are sandwiched by the hypnotic and acidic tendencies of 'Full Resonance' and 'Panic In Flat 13'
You may be surprised to know that this is not the first time the two have collaborated on Super Rhythm Trax, and eagle eared listeners will be able to spot their previous collaboration.
This record is limited to 350 copies.

The second release on AF Trax, again with all profits being donated to Hope Not Hate, is the debut from Al Jerry who has the following to say -
I was initially picturing Al as an ambivalent character trying to evoke in his music deep issues and emotions related to Middle Eastern cultures, but not without a certain self-depreciating sense of humour and a questionable taste for stereotypical arabesque harmonies.
On a personal level, I'm from a family who is half-French, half-Armenian (from Turkey). I grew up with this sort of historical ambivalence in mind, born and bred in the relatively untroubled French culture but not completely oblivious (how could I) of the troubled past of my modern Armenian ancestry who had experienced the first genocide of the 20th century - which as you may know some people and countries still deny its very existence as we speak now in 2018. So, instead of doing something purely on my personal history and origins, I just wanted to celebrate/acknowledge the modern history of the both fascinating and chaotic Middle Eastern cultures.
When I introduced that vague idea of a project/alias to B with an early version of Sana'a Riots, he got instantly into it. The hybrid feel of the project really allowed us to experiment and mess around with odd tonalities and enthused solos. It was the first time for both of us that we manage to collaborate on an EP with someone else. We had never tried something together before and it actually turned out to be a lot of fun. More to come from Al then :)
AF Trax = Against Fascism Trax and is a new label project instituted by JD Twitch/Optimo Music. Its aim is to make a musical and cultural protest in opposition of rising far right politics and ideology in the world. Encouraging artists to make music intended to interrogate these toxic ideas, and with all label profits donated to Hope Not which campaigns to counter racism and fascism. Against Fascism Trax's intent is to provoke conversation, inform and financially support the opposition to fascist thinking. Its simple idea is that we must do something more than just talking. The moral thing to do is to act
BNJMN presents Body Reflections Pt.2 - the second step in his new, subdued and intricate sonic direction.
The highly textured ambient dance music that characterized the first chapter released earlier this year seamlessly continues onto this new reference.
Each track on the EP introduces symmetry and rhythm in the form of organic percussion. Whether lethargic and ethereal, blanketed with discordant melodies and arcing synth lines, or, more dance-oriented - with sophisticated interplays of percussive elements looping over soft harmonies.
Body Reflections Pt.2 is deeply illustrative of BNJMN's affinity for creating nuanced and delicately balanced layers, and a culmination of his vast experience.

'Everything is sound in the material world. You and me, we are vibrations' Sampling, strife and spirituality - three notions that form the basics of Eduardo's lifestyle. De la Calle is back on Forbidden Colours, again flaunting his connection with El_Txef_A. The release consists of three original cuts. On the A Side at 45 rpm is the energy and freneticism of 'Hobson's Choice': "Because a person may refuse to accept what is offered, the two options are taking it or taking nothing" On the B side, the sublime 'Paradox of Choice' leads with a strange kick loop and astral synthesizers followed by 'Transportation Forecasting', where a classic 4x4 kick is paired with analog recordings to depict a more colorful setting.

Jonas Kopp and Tresor have shared a bright and prosperous musical relationship for some years now, propelled further forward with Photon Belt.
Following Jonas' debut album Beyond the Hypnosis in 2014, accompanied by the Red Plented EP (2014) and the HHH EP (2015), the Argentinian artist delivers a new full-length to the Berlin's legendary imprint which will release on May 5th on double vinyl and digital formats.
This new opus is dedicated to a cosmic phenomenon our solar system experiences every 11,000 years. The photon belt is a band of intense light energy into which our star and its planets moves into for a duration of about 2,000 years. As part of the Pledian star group, our sun circles around the star named Alcyon, itself located at all times in the photon belt. Other stars, including ours, move in and out of it for varying periods of time, depending on their orbit.
Our way into the belt has already begun and will continue over the next five years. The result Mankind in its darkest hour paralleled with consciousness rising to further dimensions.
Expect a thoughtful and mature labor from Jonas Kopp's mesmerizing 10-track journey, on which the Argentine's contemporary methods in production meet traditional techno constituents. Throughout the album, different sidereal interludes arch over to his Telluric Lines side project, which he presented at the 2016 edition of the Berlin Atonal festival.
Crucial titles such as 'Galactic Core', 'Aile', the eponymous 'Photon Belt' and '5D World' are set to leave a large footprint in the continuous sequence of electronic music.

Unshakable integrity, adamant dedication and multi-faceted creativity are all characteristics that define the personality of french electronic artist Marcelus. Following an already fluent relationship with music and a string of single releases on Tresor Records, Marcelus - given name Cedric Bros - thought it would be the opportune moment to dive into his most intimate inspirations and produce Vibrations, his debut album.
This full length project naturally comes at a pivotal moment for Marcelus, his experiences and knowledge coming together to create a homogenous body of work reflective of his expertise as a musician so far. Vibrations is purposefully techno oriented. It is a personal journey through his proficiency in the genre, travelling from techno to house inspired dub techno to futuristic and experimental by the end of the three vinyls.
To calculate the dark, nonetheless melancholic energy of the record, mathematical datas of Pi and Phi were deliberately measured into some parts of the composition of each track. The result is an ever-evolving web of rhythms that redefines pre-established structures.
Through its rich sonic journey Vibrations proves, from A to F, that Marcelus is undoubtedly one of today's most interesting and dexterous producer in the genre, and pertinently lands on Tresor's 25th Anniversary calendar
Mental industrial psychedelic techno... Superb 4 tracker bringing rare sound on vinyl... with a loud cut and a proper pressing. DIG IT !
Tresor is proud to welcome Mønic to its catalogue.
Head of Osiris Music, Mønic is an accomplished producer based in the United Kingdom. His style can be dened as raw yet exceptionally rened, allowing for a certain industrial
inspiration to ooze from his productions and outstanding sound design.
'Parsons Hill' opens with tumultuous percussions that continue to escalate throughout the track as an eerie looming synth dances above the kicks.
Alternatively, 'Morse' reveals another side of the artist with a more serene attitude. Here, static passes through a magnetic eld with a constant palpitating bass. 'Hollow Victory' opens with thunderous clangs and a urry of ominous chimes that echo through the darkness swirling above a pulsating heartbeat.
Tresor Records proudly presents the second chapter in Mønic's musical journey on the label.
Head of Osiris Music, Mønic is an accomplished producer whose style can be defined as raw yet exceptionally refined, allowing for a certain industrial inspiration to ooze from his exquisite sound design.
'Four Sides Of Truth' opens a conversation between pristenely defined low frequencies and an infinity of fleeting, chirping synth layers. This discussion will continue throughout the record, taking additional drums into the exchange and swirling into 'Point To The Sun' in full panning effect.
On the other side, lower frequencies undoubtedly take over and win the argument in 'Self Doubt Is Worthless'. UK-based Kamikaze Space Programme contributes with a revisited version of 'Morse', initially released on the Parsons Hill EP. Preserving the abrasive textures of the original, KSP dramatically raises the track's thrilling factor.
To celebrate the label's 25 year anniversary Ferox brings you this three-tracker from label boss Russ Gabriel. The A side is Russ's classic "Peace For Thought" from 1993. Long overdue for a repress and one of his most treasured works, this track is a mesmerising journey of warm pads and strings. On the flip there are two brand new recordings from Russ. This release is available in grey marbled vinyl and is not available digitally.

Following a split tape with Ondness on Discrepant's imprint Sucata Tapes , Serpente returns to Tormenta Electrica after its debut with 'Rituais 101' . A circular suite in four interchangeable parts, 'A Noiva ' projects itself as a gateway into off kilter hypnosis summoned from ecstatic polyrhythms, jungle debris, dub tactics and the occasional 4/4 thump via free jazz streams of consciousness. A drawn out percussion workout around the communal fire. Come along. We're here.
Tresor Records is proud to welcome Shao Yanpeng, the rst Chinese artist to enter the label's star-studded roster.
Shao is based in Being, China, where he has been making electronic music since 2002, and pursues his career as a producer and successful sound designer.
With 'Doppler Shift Pt.1' Shao continues to experiment with various facets of electronic music. On the A-side, 'Sensi' dives straight into feverish synth work which halts into a suspenseful ascension to the climax.
On the Flip, 'Refection Pt.2' takes on a more serene atmosphere slowly building and adding textures as the track progresses into a meticulously built composition.

Detroit's most puzzling genius debuted on the label in 2000 with his first ever full length work - From The Far Future. It took over a decade for its sequel to follow - From The Far Future Pt.2 released in 2012 to great public acclaim.
This year, Terrence Dixon prepared a matchless four track EP, going ever further in his very own tenor of collided electronics and mesmerizing tones. Words can simply not describe.

Following contributions by DJ Deep and DJ Hell, Tresor Records are proud to present the third instalment in their Kern mix-series, this time headed by Berlin based producer Objekt, his first release following his 2014 debut album Flatland for PAN. In keeping with the series mission of showcasing a more personal approach to mixing Hertz describes his process as such;
Kern Vol. 3 is made up of tracks that I know I will play and love for years to come. Some of these records have been in my bag for years; others are almost as new to me as they are to you. A handful are by lesser known artists whom I admire and who I think deserve wider recognition. Planned, recorded, embellished, reworked, tweaked and chiselled away at over a period of 6 months, the mix was gradually carved out in a way that makes use of new and old techniques alike, presenting itself primarily as a DJ mix but settling in a sweet spot between live recording and studio trickery. The tracklist spans styles, decades and BPMs in an attempt to craft a mix that's unpredictable and compelling in equal measure - one that draws from the more adventurous corners of my club sets, but above all, one that's a pleasure to listen to.
Clocking in at 75min across 36 tracks, Kern Vol. 3 delivers on Objekt's promise, stitching together everything from the playful breakbeats of Beatrice Dillon's "Halfway" to Kirk DiGiorgio's classic techno "Nebula Variation" and the lightspeed IDM of Aleksi Perälä and Ueno Masaaki without missing a beat. A descent through ambient bliss, thundering cello drones and vocal contortions (courtesy of Anna Caragnano, Yair Elazar Glotman and Senyawa's Rully Shabara respectively) give way to the stoned haze of Sensational vs Sotofett and metalwork of Machine Woman and Skarn, rounding up a highly eclectic and adventurous mix which also includes previously unreleased tracks by Bristol's Shanti Celeste, rising Brooklyn producer Via App and accomplished electro technicians Clatterbox and Polzer.
Welcome to fifth Hardgroove bomb on KickMaSomaAss Records. This time we bringing you a Various Artists Compilation filled with four great and powerfull tracks from all over the world. We start with Almir Ljusa who is living in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is a great hardgroove producer. His track "Sturmgewehr 59" is one of his best. Powerfull beats, monster percussions, full loaded with extreme power for all clubs and partys. The second Artists is a Big Icon on Hardgroove music scene and every Hardgroove fan must to know him. His name is David Moleon from Granada, Spain. His track "4 Legs" is little slower as we are accustomed from his older production but its full loaded with "David Moleon Style". Bomb beats, bomb percussions and definitely one great track for every DJ to play. Next artists on our compilation is Fuma Funaky from Slovenia. In his track "Destormus" we can find elements of Tech-House and Deep House dressed into one great techno track with nice driving bassline and great percussions. Definitely one great track from him. The last and fourth artist on our compilation is Norman Andretti aka Quarill from Hungary. His track "Funkalike" sounds like you were on ibiza. Great tribal percussions, funky bassline, and "FUNKAlike". All what you need is summer, swimming pool, 2x2000W and this vinyl record to have little Ibiza home. Difinitely one great vinyl record worth all the money you pay for it. Enjoy!

Villa Abo is more than a band name. It is a former bank buliding in Johannishus in South East Sweden which was where Börft Records was founded and where the boss Jan Zwarre Svensson grew up. It was where the original location of Studio Styrka was and where the first important years of recordings by FRAK and Alvars Orkester was done. It was a creative volcano, and also a social meeting point for likeminded, teenage weirdos into electronic music. Villa Abo is the foundation for a lot of stuff still resonating today. The story of Villa Abo started in 1997 when the now collectable "Ticketiketas" 12" saw the light on Börft. Zwarre had done dance stuff before as FRAK but now blew our minds with this funky, experimental acid techno acid thing. Villa Abo immediately became an obsession for me. The same year the "Tagetes" 2x12" came out and it had some quite amazing house elements to it. Zwarre had been into cheesy Chicago house for years and was often found playing Strictly Rhythm 12"s at parties but it still came as a nice surprise. Today, FRAK has been active for a long time now releasing tons of records, Alvars Orkester is asleep but about to be awaken, and Villa Abo is the output for his addicion to deeper electronic dance stuff, with killer releases on labels like Butter Sessions, Dark Entries and Noise In My Head. "CARPET PROOF OF DAILY REPORTS" is a six track Long Player that takes you through underground techno funk to mindmelting "Brain Charter Disco". Step inside of the world of Villa Abo! You wont regret it.

A different transmission from LDDLM
When the strange and different has become the new normal, a certain normality, well... becomes our first straight techno 12'.
Danny Passarella needs no introduction, his death squad of shoegaze warehouse ghost being of non-fading memory. D'Marc Cantu (following Perc and Oliver Ho in a serie of collabs) does not either, hero of Nation and fine purveyor of American acid.
This is pure machine music straying from the eternal revival of everything vintage. It looks forward not...
As they say it themselves:
'The Future has A Silver Lining' title comes from the advertising for a high-end utopia promised in RoboCop's 'Delta City'. The track titles inspired by ASCII codes, represent the key elements that lay ahead in the film, or in today's society.
080 = P = Privatization
067 = C = Corruption
065 = A = Authoritarianism
068 = D = Dystopia
After many years of steady work Bristol-based artist JoeFarr created a well-respected profile on his own, He is now joining the label showing a side of his works that many never saw probably, and others always knew but never saw on a record. Development always takes time, and time is nothing when the art comes out in his true form. This is 'Dedicate' an very important record that represent something deeper than a peace of wax, label boss Emmanuel took the big responsibility to remix the title track and make his own view of JoeFarr's dedication.
Nick Klein is an artist making electronic music born in southern Florida and based in Brooklyn, New York since 2012. Upon moving to New York the concentration of his works output has been to mine and investigate the troped qualities in various forms of electronic music, and then to realize singular directions in how to communicate these ideas himself. Alongside Miguel Alvarin~o he runs the music imprint Primitive Languages.
His latest offering since the January 2018 EP "Lowered Flaming Coffin" (Alter) is a continuation of his burnt dance music explorations with "The Bathroom Wall" on Bank Records. As a totem to reflect onto with text, to rest ones eyes in blur, or to physically hold ones self up in the throes of intoxication, the bathroom wall takes and gives numerous gestures of use. Klein uses the symbology of the bathroom wall to construct five disparate wall scrawlings and hazed meditations into the compositional grounds for four meaner mid-tempo, rhythmic purges. Tracks "The Worst Band In The World" and "American Gut" take on the pulsing build of an intoxicated night out. The record divides in on and itself in tone with "Rather Be Your Enemy", an homage in title to the legendary Lee Hazelwood song, wherein the synthesizer convulses slowly conjuring the bleaker qualities of tinnitus taking the lead over your senses. Side B of the record throbs quickly with the blown bass drums and hissing rhythms of "Pushing Your Luck" and comes to a drawn conclusion with the ten minute come-down at sun rise burner of "Poor Me Another".
The record was recorded using a modular synthesizer to tape by Nick Klein and mastered by Josh Bonati. Design work taken on by visual provocateur Chris Norris (Steak Mountain).
NON Worldwide co-founder Nkisi rolls out an instant modern classic with '7 Directions' for UIQ. A masterful debut album informed by African Cosmology and Congolese rhythms, it's aesthetically comparable with music ranging from Æ's 'Incunabula' to The Connection Machine's 'Painless', Lee
Gamble hyperprisms and William Bennett's Cut Hands, but ultimately it's peerless in the (hyper)modern field...
Specifically referencing the writings of Kongo scholar Dr Kimbwandende Kia Bunseki Fu-Kiau and the African Cosmology of the Bantu-Kongo, '7 Directions' is offered as a gateway to hallucinatory mindstates via aerobic mysticism. Ultimately it is focussed on the idea that rhythm has the capacity to modulate and experiment with conditions of perception, and to disrupt predetermined expectations, and does so in the belief that new movements of energy can determine collective behaviour and generate new possibilities for knowledge production and dissemination - perhaps even supposing rhythm's potential for premonitory pattern recognition.
We fully concur with Nkisi's notions about dance music's potential for transferring and conveying energy, both negative/ecstatic, abstract/intuitive, so it's a rare pleasure to hear her limn those ideas so beautifully, effectively and open-endedly thru '7 Directions'. In each part she inimitably unlocks and retunes the body's rhythmic anticipation with breathless batteries of incredible polyrhythms that arguably make the majority of Western dance styles sound like rote line dance music for folk with little imagination in their bones.
In each direction Nkisi's drums writhe and rattle in a simultaneously ancient/futuristic style - ancient because they explicitly reference percussive traditions way older than Western
civilization, and futuristic because they've never been presented in this way before, alloyed with cosmic synth pads that draw lines from Detroit to the Lowlands and back to source, way out in the
cosmos. But rather than closed systems for study and analysis, Nkisi's trax feel like living, bristling organisms or virulent systems that only become activated with user participation, where those
ideas can begin to take root, grow and mutate via kinesis.
Even if you don't dance in public and save '7 Directions' for your living room/bedroom/holosphere, listeners will get the best out of this album by putting something in themselves, by shutting their
eyes and dancing with it.

George Thompson also known as Black Merlin has finally come to forgather with the prophetic spheres of Die Orakel. His three-track EP called 'Kode' comes with simple yet intriguing and hypnotic modular textures in loopy arrangements.
Eva Be has been a key figure on the development of Berlin underground club culture, going back to the 90s and her involvement with the Sonar Kollektiv crew that included the likes of Dixon, Ame and Jazzanova, to name a few. A highly talented producer and DJ, this EP on Poker Flat Wax showcases her skillful mastery of house music.
'Delight' kicks things off on the A side, a low slung groove wirth Chicago-esque percussion that pops out of the speakers. Some of Eva's love for dub and reggae is also present - vocals and chord stabs echo and shimmer across the track.
'Breathe' is a little more floor focussed - a hard knocking kick starts this off and the track develops into one of those deep, emotional and driving tracks that get dancefloors into a serious states of ecstasy.
Flip the wax and 'Pills' is the third offering for this release - precise-yet-wonky drums, breakbeats, deep pads and synth lines that gel together into a perfect, hedonistic whole.

Mikron return to CPU with their second album 'Severance'. The Corcoran brothers refine their critically acclaimed sound which has evolved to be more haunting than the last release. Radio Slave welcomes UK techno talent Roberto to Rekids to deliver the latest installment in the'Special Projects' series as he opens 2019 with his 'Let's Be Free' EP.
Based in London, Roberto aka Rob Kirkaldy is one of the latest names of note to emerge from the capital's ever-impressing electronic music scene having showcased his rich blend of deep and immersing techno via a host of esteemed imprints including ARTS, Fachwerk and his own label Fossil Archive, founded in 2015, in recent years. Following a string of performances across revered establishments including fabric, Tresor, Culture Box and Berghain, 2019 will open with a debut outing on Radio Slave's Rekids imprint as he delivers four entrancing techno cuts in the form of his 'Let's Be Free' EP, set to drop in late January as part of the label's Special Projects series.
'The Jester' opens the EP as Kirkaldy fuses slick, crisp percussion amongst murky swells and everdeveloping, dubby chord arrangements, whilst 'Tonic' continues this aesthetic as transcendental melodies meet deep kicks and delicate hats to reveal a captivating journey across six and a half minutes.
On the flip, 'The Days Are Longer Now' utilises a skillful balance of emotive synths and refined kicks to deliver the most up front production of the package, before title cut 'Lets Be Free' closes proceedings as resonant melodies and paired back organic percussion patterns ebb and flow amongst pockets of intricate sound design to conclude yet another impressive release on the Berlin based imprint.

In his latest composition, DOLOMITE DUB, the Vienna-based South Tyrolean sound artist Ulrich Troyer presents his perceptions of a several-day high alpine hike across the Dolomites transformed into a soundscape.
The more than 40 minute track DOLOMITE DUB leads the listeners through this landscape of heights transgressing different moods - in which autobiographical memories flash up as well.
Subsequently to the experimental dub trilogySongs for Williamand the EPDeadlock Versions, a cooperation with Vin Gordon and Didi Kern, DOLOMITE DUB features besides Didi Kern on drums & percussion, Susanna Gartmayer on contra-alto clarinet and Juergen Berlakovich on bass, both long-time ensemble members of the joint project "The Vegetable Orchestra".
Vaal announces the release of debut album 'Nosferatu' via new label Pale Blue Dot.
A dark, cinematic triumph, title track 'Nosferatu' was the first song to be released from the record, following a huge few years of touring and underground releases, including one of 2016's most ubiquitous tracks 'Wander To Hell' and 'Monument' on Afterlife.
Vaal has established a sterling reputation as one of the key members of the Afterlife family. Steadily cultivating a strong identity and sound, merging a crossover of techno and breaks, traces of 'Bachian' melodies and UK rave culture.
As Longitude is the illuminated brainchild of Eva Geist and Laura ODL. Together they explore sonic waves in an exiting world full of spatial drum machine rhythms and sequenced riffs. Some of those trips feel like earth bound rituals, while others seem to be nothing less than ceremonies of stratospheric magnitude.

Spacious, dystopian, and wonky driving electro and 90s techno!
Cititrax release Cherskogo Drive, a full length LP of 6 tracks from one of Moscow's leading underground electronic artists, Pavel Milyakov aka Buttechno. He may not need any introduction to some but to those not in the know, he's a unique, relatively new yet prolific musical artist who uses a vast range of instrumentation to create his sound. His music captures the listener in the most thoughtful, precise way.
Milyakov makes spacious, dystopian, and wonky reflections on techno that mirror the expansive barrenness and desolation of his high rise-dominated environs. Despite keeping a relatively low profile, Buttechno still manages to attract significant positive attention, whether providing 'spastic electronics and fireball ballistics' in one of the local Boiler Room event or creating soundtracks for European fashion shows. He has close ties to the area's design and fashion scenes, and his own artwork fleshes out a singular aesthetic.

The fifth release in the sonic saga of San Francisco's electric noise factory Squirrels On Film is the first solo EP from label co-founder C.l.a.w.s., and his first solo release since 2017's 'Stygian Morass' on Left Hand Path.
His distinctive, idiosyncratic take on Techno has found its way onto the Various Squirrels, and as half of Kit 'n C.l.a.w.s with Joshua Kit Clayton, but 'Splat City' is his party, and you're invited.
The dance begins with 'Into The Eyes Of The Zombie Queen,' its Liquid Sky cold-wave disco throb complete with laser zaps, Simmon's tom fills and drunk punk Moroder bass. This is C.l.a.w.s. in full-on Fun Mode, so feel free to break out the party favors. 'Pacific Fog Authority' escalates the mirror-ball Goth Drama to delightfully inappropriate crescendos. 'Slug Bait' gets a bit tougher, the motorik, leather-bar shuffle exploding in ecstatic strobe light seizures . 'Splat City' keeps things heavy and depraved, a sleazy nightmare smoke-machine Strip Anthem.
Your next late-night Cosmic Adventure has a perfect soundtrack.

Man Power's Me Me Me signs up long-time friend Ian Blevins for his long overdue label debut. Blevins's originals are backed by stellar remixes from Austin Ato and Kiwi.
Blevins hails from the North East of England and has released on ESP Institute, Futureboogie, Not An Animal and Culprit. The prolific producer was a long time resident of the legendary We Love Space in Ibiza and is an enduring favourite on the UK scene with plenty of musical tricks up his sleeves.
'Both tracks on offer showcase the mongrel sound that I hear coming out of the North East region,' Says Man Power. 'Partly tough, partly playful, not simply techno, not simply house, and certainly nowhere near the most common contraction of the two words.'
Innovative opener 'The Serpent' is a suitably snaking, slithering groove with acid twitches, rubbery drums and raw percussive energy. It pings about in dynamic fashion and really keeps you on edge. First up to remix, Austin Ato makes his return to the label after his huge 'The Sound Of' EP in summer 2018 and gives further credence to Man Power's suspicion of his impending super stardom. He takes the 'The Serpent' on a luscious and deep trajectory that would make Larry Heard proud.
The second standout original is 'Unse', a dark stomper with cosmic rays that strike right to the heart of the dance floor. It's menacing and absorbing music that is steely and unlike anything else. To remix is 17 Steps regular Kiwi, who is responsible for two of Man Power's favourite tracks of 2018. Here he continues his run of astounding form while taking 'Unse' in a tougher and more robust direction that will really make you sweat.
As ever this is a brilliant and stylistically diverse package from Me Me Me.
ndio was a short lived but influential trio of John Beltran, Sam McQueen and Seth Taylor. They released an album and three EPs of hi tech ambient techno on Derrick May's Transmat and the Rhythmic Tech label between 1999 and 2010. Here, three tracks from their self titled 2003 EP and one that was released on Styrax get put together, remastered and recut for the next Delsin reissue. Opener 'Winter Long' is classy techno cut that looks into the future. A symphony or gorgeous strings lights up the backdrop as scintillating drums dance and shimmery in the foreground. A Detroit sense of melody adds colour and ensures utter timelessness. 'Blue Fantasy' is another track that show off the power of machines to make music that touches your soul with its gorgeous strong stabs and masterful drum programming, and 'Inca' then slips more into a house groove, with busy, shuffling drums driving along beneath acidic twitches and broad, heavenly pads. It's slick, urgent and compelling and 'Nolita' closes things with more delicate dancing machines, rueful synth work and rubber bass. It's archetypal Detroit techno that sounds as good and forward facing now as it ever did.
After a career spanning more than 25 years John Beltran lands on the Belgian De:tuned label with the long-awaited follow-up album to his widely acclaimed classic 90s masterpiece "Ten Days of Blue". On "Moth" Beltran opens his heart by combining melody, emotion and soul with infectious grooves. As such he lays down the definitive and timeless Detroit sound with a clear nod to the early innovators. From 4/4 dance floor burners to tribal shufflers and ambient interludes, "Moth" is a well-balanced journey full of blissful atmosphere for both the mind and feet.
The matching artwork was designed by the talented Plastica from Spain. Matt Colton took care of the mastering duties to ensure the highest playback quality. The album will be released as a 180 gr vinyl double pack. A separate digital release will also be available from all the usual digital shops.
De:tuned would like to thank John and everyone that has been involved in the making of this wonderful album. Stay tuned!

Truss & Tessela team up on this 5 track monster! TIP!
Under their respective artist names Truss and Tessela, brothers Tom and Ed Russell have forged formidable individual reputations as producers. Defining tracks such as Truss' 'Kymin Lea' and 'Beacon' and Tessela's 'Rough 2' and 'Hackney Parrot' for the likes of R&S, Perc Trax, and their own Poly Kicks label, have encapsulated so much of what is exciting and vital in UK underground, electronic music.
Their new collaborative project Overmono, now sees Tom and Ed come together on record for the very first time,
In their own words...
Despite doing some live shows together and the fact that we're brothers, we hadn't ever really written music together and wanted to start something new. We decided to head to a remote cottage in rural Wales, near to where we grew up. The trip ended up being the most creative stint either of us had ever had and after a week we had the foundations for Overmono.'

Phreax was a project born out of the friendship of Ade Pressly and Guy Buss, two rockers-turned-ravers by the acid house and balearic explosion of late 80's London. The pair started off as dancers, frequenting Spiral Tribe's countryside raves, Colin Dale and Colin Faber's Knowledge at SW1 Club and the Drum Club at Soundshaft. Inspired by this new sonic palette, drum kits were traded for drum machines and the guys pieced together a studio with gear acquired from the then-defunct BBC Radiophonic Workshop. Between 1995 and 1997 Phreax penned three 12's of wonky, experimental techno for Charlie Hall's M.C. Projects imprint. The last, 1997's Jitterballz EP, was the culmination of their hardware explorations. Fusing Moog synth lines with classic Roland drum boxes and the complexity of arrangement allowed by Cubase, Ade and Guy forged a heady but floor-functional record that still stands out as a monument to techno experimentalism. Wafting synths, eerie melody and complex beat programming combine to form a refreshingly unselfconscious and timeless recording. Over twenty years later we are happy to again present this fantastic EP to the dance floors of 2018.

We are thrilled to welcome the talented young Dutch producer SAMA to Footwork for our 12 strike!
SAMA is a comet of a league of new wave generation' producers to keep your eyes on. Both tracks on Disturbance Of A Dream' EP forces an internal journey through melodies that touches the soul. The balance between sweet vocal cuts and synth melodies combined with strong banger kicks and bass-lines that can easily scorch the main stages, marks this EP as a multifunctional bomb.

Although Itta (Vocals, Harmonium) and Marqido (Analog Synthesizers) have been regular fixtures in Seoul's experimental music community for years, the vinyl release of Spiritual reflects the growing international recognition of their singular sound, described by The Wire as 'meditative synthesized vistas.' Spiritual certainly embodies the meditative element of their music, layering hypnotic modular synth with Indian harmonium drone and Itta's transcendental vocals. This is more than functional music for the metaphysically curious, however. Perhaps more than any of their previous releases, Spiritual offers an open accessibility, owing at least partly to the channeling of krautrock-influenced rhythms. Tracks like 'Luft' and 'Morgen Tempel' wouldn't sound out of place in any DJ set with kraut or psychedelic leanings, while 'Barabonda' and 'Dodeuri' dig deep into a more meditative place, serving as perfect expressions of the album's title and intent. Fans of Neu!, Kraftwerk, Laraaji or Klaus Schulze might find themselves in a comfortable yet unexplored place.
Spiritual was originally released in 2017 as a limited-edition cassette of 250 copies, produced in collaboration with Seendosi, an arts enterprise in Seoul Euljiro district, the city's heart of printing, packaging and electronics manufacturing. The cassette sold out within a year of its production, prompting Extra Noir, who had previously released Tengger's 'Breathe In, Breathe Out' on their Extra Noir Vol. 1 compilation, to propose reissuing Spiritual on vinyl. Working with Seendosi once again, the result is a beautifully produced piece of work. Closely attentive to the band's vision, the gatefold sleeve features rich landscape motifs that evoke Tengger's commitment to earthly travel and the less accessible places beyond. Pressed onto clear vinyl, the design of Spiritual has been carefully constructed to reflect the entirely unique music within: heavy ephemerality, dense transcendence and grounded wanderlust.
Full house on this third 10 Year Anniversary 12" for Dekmantel with Levon Vincent, Joey Anderson, Legowelt and Central... 7 to go.. TIP!
.
Five years after their first event, Dekmantel Records saw the light of day. Over the course of 2017 the label will release ten EPs from artists that are close to their hearts; artists that have shaped Dekmantel into what it is today and producers who never fail to inspire them.
Each EP comes in an unique full-color printed inner-sleeve, housed in a glossy outer-sleeve with logo punch out. Shinkwrapped, stickered and pressed on 180 grams vinyl.
The third EP in this series is from Novel Sound boss and New York techno don Levon Vincent, Dutch synth wizard Legowelt, plus label regulars Joey Anderson and Central. Vincent goes first with 'Untitled', a deep and rueful roller with his typically well crafted, future sounding synths and delicate glassy piano keys. Legowelt's 'Blue Austral Techno' is as cosmic and spaced out a track as you would guess from the title and is perfectly blurry and analogue in design, while Anderson's 'Opened Gate' is a deep and late night cut with jacking percussion forcing a groove as golden and majestic chords ring out into the night and truly zone you out. Last of all, Central impresses with his spacious sense of deep house groove, inventive textures and mixture of the synthetic with the organic in fresh new ways.

A1
Alignment kicks off the EP with 'New World', a heavily 90s influenced banger that showcases his trademark rolling groove. Teaming industrial stabs with a dreamy, emotive pad, this track is sure to set the dance floor alight.
A2
Alignment continues the theme from the A1 with 'Extinction', a deeper, trance-influenced banger. 'Extinction's urgency and eclectic sound design make this a peak-time weapon to remember.
B1
'Planet' showcases Alignment's deeper edge to his productions. Restrained synth-work combined with rough, distorted drums make this a highly effective mix tool.

For their first release ViGi, the new French - Belgian experimental label, entrusts two underground artists known for their subtle and refined productions - Anton Pau (Bulgaria) and Herck (Romania). Together they masterfully deliver Endless Light as a complete night/ after-hour EP.
Anton Pau brings his solid experience initially built on hip hop beats in 2000s, from where his sound has naturally evolved throughout the years to immerse in techno, minimal and deep.
From the release of his atmospheric In Space on DELOOPED in 2014, featuring artists such SUBLEE, MARIIN, or ALEXANDER KYOSEV (who remixed Anton's P-Loop two years later
for his second EP released on NORSE PROJEKT and was played by PETRE INSPIRESCU or CABANNE), Anton has continuously developed and refined his minimal, murky groove.
On his new Endless Light EP, Anton delivers his finest after-hour vision. On Endless Light, we find here again Anton Pau's unique touch: a groovy beat supplied by a smoothing wavy sound, culminating in a very classy and elegant unfolding, matching the
mental after-hour perfectly.
On his turn HERCK delivers his very own interpretation of Endless Light, which will undoubtedly grab all dancers in a beat ! He revisits the track and brings a wide, rich and musically complex display of pulsating sounds, with a rhythmic and bumpy beatline, supported by a wide array of small and intricate details to light up the dancefloor in a flash !
Separation of The Flower Power continues and completes the mystery of A-side like an absolute and natural progression. With its strong and imposing groovy beat, it progresses constantly and results in a fine, subtle and sombre composition of a brilliant and dazzling darkness.
Early supports by artists like PETRE INSPIRESCU, LIZZ, COSMJN, SUCIU, CALLY, POLARIZE, NU ZAU

Reclaiming her original moniker of Kittin, electroclash pioneer - formerly known as Miss Kittin - presents Cosmos, a continuous twelve-track LP of organic, leftfield electronica due 2 November on Dark Entries. Throughout her illustrious career, Kittin has carved a considerable niche for herself, assimilating references from New Wave and 90s techno to form an inimitable sound that resonates with electronic music fans the world over. Despite being most recognizable with 'Miss' before it, Kittin was in fact her original artist name - the prefix often added without her consent at promoter's will and eventually becoming the norm.
Cosmos is her most spiritual release yet, influenced by her time in the French countryside after a bout of touring exhaustion. She gives up any formulas from her past; verses/chorus, pop or club beats, to come to the essence of chords and textures, peeling away the non-essential to find joy in music yet again. In retrieving her chosen name from more than 20 years ago, Kittin also returns to the essence of her musical journey. By liberating herself from the constraints of formal structure she opens the door to a new set of aesthetics, exploring her influences without restraint. Sonically, the voice acts a central instrument, whilst the album drives continuously forward with no breaks, paying homage to her love for ambient and electronica whilst wandering calmly into the unknown. 'With Cosmos everything is energy. We go back to the core with curiosity and freedom.' - Kittin
BLK DRP #3 is the latest release on Michael Klein's own label imprint. This time he got his friends

Together with the original the A side delivers two highly energetic peak time tracks.
The B side is packed with two sexy groovers while keeping a dark and atmospheric vibe to it.

If All The People Took Acid, we wouldnt get much done. FaltyDLs second release on his own imprint Blueberry Records. And it sees him going back to basics.
Dance floor bubbling lead track If All The People Took Acid jacks you directly into an updated ACID soundscape. The tune also gets remix treatment from the inimitable Octo Octa, taking the acid squelching to an even higher level. Both sample someone
explaining their experience with acid from a 1960s documentary on Acid and its effects on the brain.
Flesh Of Acid & Scream Acid are both designed to catch you off guard on the dance floor, perhaps even terrify you. Its an energy thing, we believe clubs should be both safe and electrifying at the same time. That feeling of entering a club and not knowing
what the night will hold its the same feeling you got as a kid when you climbed a tree to high and thought, shit I might not make it down. But you always did, you always did.
EP comes housed in a beautiful sleeve designed by longtime FaltyDL collaborator, Tom Simon.

The raw jacking sexiness of Ghetto House has always played a big role in the Killekill universe. So it's high time to put out our first release which goes that direction. Italian Andrew Soul is an artist we have been watching for a while already. When he sent the demo with the extremely raw and dirty tunes that you find on the A-side of this 12, the decision was easy: Killer stuff which makes you bounce immediately - We want to put this out!
The B-side comes from Dirtbox, who is also one half of Snuff Crew and therefore has been part of the Killekill family for a while already. Actually almost from the start. Being the musical wizard he is, he can not only make house and acid music and anything else you could think of, but also class A Ghetto House. Maybe even more classic than Andrew Soul's side but ranging from the percussive style of SMMFD and Work That to the raw energy of Fukk it is definitely in no way less original.
Shake dat ass!

Second Vigram instalment brings us producing artist Dibek, who is half of Vienna's electro/techno group /DL/MS/ (Frustrated Funk, TRUST fame). Dibek explores some Spesimen-style electro on the A-Side, and goes into more bouncy and weird acid jack territory on the flip. Recommended!

Dino Lenny returns with a new dark dancefloor drop, ready to cause a stir after a string of on-point release over the last year on the likes of Innervisions, Diynamic, Ellum and Sapiens.
Title track 'Techno Is Dead' lands on his own Fine Human imprint and takes a play from people sentencing the end of a style, but the truth is the floors are having it like no tomorrow. Sonic wise, it's a 8 minute slice of driving, shadowy, electronic sound, with rumbling 4/4 beats and warehouse ready builds working in tandem for a truly standout piece of finely balanced sound, that will no doubt light up the clubs.Following up is ' Go Down To Mexico', with an array of off kilter stabs and trippy vocal elements solidifying Dino's dexterous production style. Expect to hear these across the clubs in the coming months.

FFT returns with his follow up EP to the impressive debut 'fft1' that was released on Uncertainty Principle. 'in-side' showcases FFT's refined approach to producing electronic music which rewards the listener with precise and dynamic songs. Whether you hear it in headphones, at home or on a dance floor, in-side makes for a compelling listening experience. The low frequency tremors and formant wizardry of Feil1.3-2 open up the record, giving way to the avalanche of sub-bass and fidgeting percussion of in-side 5(7) on side A. On the reverse, the glimmering, high-tech electronica of ohld 3 shifts into a more emotive mode. The two parts of orr din recall the best and most atmospheric sci-fi soundtracks and complete an immaculately produced EP.

Metric Systems is the name of a covert project of over 20 years duration. It has moved across multiple continents, under multiple names. The 8 songs that make up 'People in the Dark' were recorded between 2000 and 2016 in various locations across Sydney, Melbourne and New York. The bright-eyed sci-fi fascination of Australia's Clan Analogue collective intertwines with the more sinister facets of modern technology - echoed voices pepper the album like fragments of a surveillance tape collected by our digital panopticon. A pervasive sense of paranoia and unease winds its way through these 8 tracks that move between techno, downtempo and more abstract strains of electroacoustic experimentation. Fittingly housed in a striking sleeve by American photographer Trevor Paglen, whose MacArthur-winning work revolves around these same themes of omnipresent surveillance and data mining.
'People in the Dark' opens with the wordless vocals of 'Your Room', drifting over the unspooling synthesizer sequence that seems to swell and recede from the foreground like the ebb and flow of a lapping tide, lapsing into dreamy ambience before the drums come back in. The smartly programmed drums are the focus of 'Chinatown Warehouse', whose hip-hop swing gives a distinct 'nod factor' to the otherwise hazy mechanics of the track. On 'Laika', a 303 line weaves its way across the subdued mid-tempo groove, gently recalling the ambient-acid of Susumu Yokota's 'Ebi' project. The penultimate track, 'Stellarwind' starts with a dark, foreboding drone before shining pads arc over like a glimpse of light through the track's murky darkness, the tension between these two poles moving together as the song unfolds.
This record reflect just a small selection from a large archive of recorded materials. All songs written and produced by Kate Crawford and Bo Daley.
During these days where lo-fi analogue house productions seems to be the it thing, its time to dig out a release by one of the true pioneers of house music. Not an outsider but one of the names thats been around forever and thats known for several timeless house classics. Almost 20 years after its original release date we are happy to share this forgotten and overlooked gem by Roy Davis Jr. - Roy's Chicago Basement Traxx. Originally released as 4 track ep on Kumba Records, but we thought it was appropriate to shine some light on our three favorites, Chemical Warfare, Jack Da Rhythms and Broken Machines. Three dirty, raw, jacking and most of all intense tracks, that are among the best things that came out of Chicago. Jerking rhythms, hypnotic synths and live arrangements stripped to the bare essential! Endless respect to Roy Davis Jr. for being such a versatile and inspirational producer. Oh and this one is not changing hands for big money (which we see so often as sales argument). Untill recently it actually always used to be pretty cheap on Discogs ;-) ps. we thought of releasing this on Clone Classic Cuts, but this is what the word Jack is about... and despite the Basement in the title, our Clone Jack For Daze series dedicated to Chicago inspired tracks seems the only appropriate place for this!

Bearing traces from his earlier synth ambient project Sansernes Rus as well as his previous engagement in the danish noise and techno scene, this debut EP operates on the fringes of percussive techno, melodic ambient, and bass music with nods to several other styles including IDM and millenium trance. In other words Safe Following Distance' reflects a very adventurous approach to music making, offering four individually strong tracks out of which each one draws upon inspiration from different genres while contributing to an overall aesthetic perspective.

Thomas Hessler, Kas:st, Pär Grindvik, Glos, PVNV and Intimate Silence boss Silent-One team up for six alleviating, ambient cuts entitled 'Traces'.
The Stuttgart based label have been making rapid progression within the beatless techno community since establishing themselves back in 2016. In addition to releasing ambient soundscapes to the highest standard they hold a regular radio show on Rinse France which acts as a firm reflection for their intricate, drone- based sounds. 'Traces' includes tracks from a new wave of promising techno names who offered earlier contributions on the label including PVNV, Glos and boss Silent-One, as well as IMF's Thomas Hessler, French duo and Flyance label chiefs KAS:ST and Swedish figurehead Pär Grindvik.
Hessler's 'Pearl' kicks off with warm pads, winding synth progression and delicate atmospheres before Kas:st's 'Are We Alone In The Universe' delivers levitating ambience through tranquil chords, angelic leads and resonating stabs. Silent One's 'Snakes' then patiently deploys growling tones wonderfully balanced with tense waves of shimmering low end.
Pär Grindvik lightens things up with 'FZ Kolarbo' which fuses uplifting elements and mellifluous notes with alluring charm whilst twisting melodies and euphoric modulations become ever present in PVNV's emotive builder 'Squal'. Glos' 'Silk (Figurine)' then finishes things off by balancing calming voices, healing harmonics and trance-inducing softness.

Purely by coincidence, the 2019 Horo schedule commences in the same way as 2018 - with a release from Parisian artist Von Grall. Following up his debut LP 'Infinitum' for the label, the Three Waves EP probes new depths in shimmering, rhythmic obscuration.
Seemingly constructed under a thick sheet of fog, Three Waves is immersive Techno with taut, granular waves winding through it's construction, adding emotive touches sparingly, but with precision potency.

Astropolis Records' 8th release will submerge you in the very heart of an authentic rave. Biting, sullen, sharp techno produced by two cornerstones of the Brest-ish label: Electric Rescue (Möd3rn, Skryptöm) and The Driver (aka Manu le Malin), which nowadays form a distinguished duo: W.LV.S.
Following their previous 2014 The Wolves EP on Astropolis Records and most recently a release alongside JoeFarr on RAAR, the Two French rave militants are back on 3 tracks with this new EP. First batch starts with Misericordia, a wistful, sooty though really catchy track that grabs you without respite. Astounding and breathless, this black mass incantation drags you into a raging storm with haunting synth lines and chasing drums. Used as closing track for Mario Raulin's and Sourdoreille's documentary "Sous le Donjon de Manu le Malin" Misericordia already gained countrywide reputation.

36's music is often associated with and influenced by the futuristic, cyberpunk side of ambient music. His ability to transport and portray new worlds evident through his 2016 album for ASIP, 'The Infinity Room', or any of his self-released works. It's of no surprise then to see his return to ASIP take this exploration one-step further. However, instead of the more obvious themes that come with cyberpunk, such as technological fetishism or vapid aesthetics, Dennis has decided to focus on the isolation of individuals, using (and often abusing) technology as a means of escapism - a side of cyberpunk that often goes unnoticed when it comes to the musical depictions that come with it. Fade To Grey reflects on current social paradigms, where social media has become a weak substitute for human interaction. Rather than bringing people together, it often makes us feel lonelier than ever. As evident in the album's artwork, technology is shown to be far from benign. The soft, gentle elegance of watercolor is juxtaposed by the violent splatters of machinery. Every vice has its price. Considering the landscape of our own world right now, where a handful of companies control everything we consume, where convenience is more important than privacy, where personal choice is pre-determined by algorithms analyzing our behavior, and where the internet has become a battleground for influence and propaganda... It's not a stretch of the imagination to believe we're already witnessing our very own dystopia.

'BAPTISMA is 55 years old, lives in Nagoya and runs an art space and concert venue called Spacio Rita. He has never before released any music.
In the hot and humid Japanese summer of 2016 YPY and I played a show at Sapcio Rita, Shintaro was DJing and BAPTISMA played a short show, too. It was impulsive and driving while somewhat earthy and dark, buzzing with dense energy like a jungle yet spacious like the hall of the mountain king.
BAPTISMA's powerful sound creates strange places - as inviting as shady.
I was captivated. BAPTISMA liked the idea of a release and we embarked on that long journey that finally led to DISK16. Along the trip we proudly welcomed HODGE from Bristol as a stowaway. His unexpected remix well rounding this square project. Finally MARIA MENDES from Lisboa served as our beacon, providing a simple and beautiful jacket for this neat release!'
"Naura Records is proud to be back to present another strong release This time some lost archive material that goes back to the very beginning of his productions. Bleak delivers 3 cuts of his custom recipe but somehow adds new unexpected flavours throughout this Ep even though staying on his formal path. Starting with the A side, Dust (Mix1) takes off with an introspective journey with detroit and classic techno. A real head turner with a classy ride and functional feeling Dust (Mix2) more for the deeper realm, accompanied with enchanted melodies as a twist. Finally on the flip, "Element" samples the heartbeat of a even deeper state, where one is allowed to lose yourself. Get a hold of something solid, for this is a tune that communicates a lot of subtle changes and honesty."
coming this november via berlin based imprint micro.fon is dj emerson's third full length lp repetitive music'.
kicking off the journey is the extraterrestrial and ethereal 'Intro', which flows continuously to 'Manuka', a rumbling tool that sets the beginning of the onslaught.
tracks like 'Call It What You Want' (Album Dub) make room for emerson's never-ending affair with jungle and drum & bass.
- Baba , the third track, has an almost organic feel. The pulsing bassline throbs away like some sort of industrial human hybrid heartbeat as steam and oil keep the beast moving ever closer.
- String Theory is a deeper techno track with nice strings and classic sampled instruments.
from vast and mesmerising soundscapes, to soaring broken-beat driven tracks and dub influenced compositions, dj emerson layers abstract field recordings with detailed hyper-tonal elements and spacious rhythms to create a techno album of its own.

Building on the mission statement that was Ferdinger's debut album 'Gelande', comes 'Abbild', a 4 track EP and the second release on his 'Life In Patterns' label. The tempos are tweaked up and the sounds are honed and angled for maximum effect. 'Gegendammerung' is straightforward but manages a lyrical tilt, while 'Spiegelreflex' oscillates between moments of dry precision and epic dreaminess. With Abglanz the newly Paris based producer brings things back to the geological strata that characterized 'Gelande' - but now with a rawer edge and more reflective surface. Glos's remix of 'Gegendammerung' provides ambient and analogue textures, finishing the EP on a more introverted and melancholic note whilst maintaining the mechanistic drive of the other pieces.

New York residing DJ/Producers John Barera & Will Martin update their longstanding body of collaborative work with their first 2MR release since last year's exceptional 'Proceed To The Root' sophomore album... And it might just be their best work to date. Continuing the celestial theme of their last EP 'History Of Space'; the EP is the result of a whole new writing technique and heller time spent jamming on Will's Chroma Polaris synth. Comprising four tracks that simply ooze machine soul and loose-limbed groovemanship, 'Life, The Heavens & The Earth' is an ageless document that digs deep into the foundations while staring out into the cosmos. The tone is set by 'The Meaning'. Outer planetary electroid savoir faire; its crisp breaks are countered by the bulbous textured bassline throughout. It's followed by the title track 'Life, The Heavens & The Earth'; a spatial excursion built around a classic break and coloured with poignant arpeggiated cascades. Deeper into the EP we glide to strike warehouse gold on the venomous acid of 'In The Depths Of Madness', a layered analog jam that writhes and slinks dynamically in the spirit of Pierre, before closing with a track the duo feel is their most accomplished composition to date: 'Searching For Time'. Not just a title we can all relate to but a poignant emotional workout that touches your soul in the same way you first heard the instrumental of Information Society's 'Running'. Beautiful emotive electronica from a duo who keep getting better with every release. The journey to the root continues....

Rebar continue their geography-infused musical journey with the second EP, Lost in New York City. While the first release unveiled the majestic anthropophony of the Japanese capital, this release is centered around the city of New York. As in the previous offering, the three tracks all pertain to different styles, exploring different facets of techno, while carrying the common soundprint of the American metropolis. The first cut unveils a mesmerizing techno construction, while the second makes for a groovy interlude, rounded up by rolling techno in the third track. A mysterious and compelling affair, released on vinyl and digital at exactly one year from the inaugural opener.
Myles Sergé aka TRANSLATE's Calder City Development Corp. is back with its 4th release from the legendary FEROX records owner Russ Gabriel. The Relief Ep' is a 3 track exploration into the mind and soul of Mr. Gabriel. Deep cords and driving melodies guide the listener along the way... This one is not to be missed!

Russell E.L. Butler is a non-binary experimental artist and DJ based in Oakland, California. Originally from Bermuda, Russell has developed a process of improvisation that draws from a rich cultural history rooted in their island and the black, queer diaspora. Following releases on Left Hand Path, Jacktone Records, Black Opal, and CGI Records, Butler enters the Spectral Sound fold with Petty, a 4-track EP of pummeling machine techno. SPC-141, presented by its producer:
"This record is a bit more self-reflective whilst also being more formal. I wanted to create something thick, something bangin', something cathartic, something that makes you punch the floor. This is definitely my most 'functional' techno record to date, but I still wanted some of the sound design to have conceptual weight to it. The kicks are layered and meant to feel like you're dropping a cinderblock on a hardwood floor. The bass feels like it could push anything out of its way. The tracks feel like they've already begun before you even pressed play. I like this thread throughout my work. It's like you're a guest in my cognitive world and you're jumping into the middle of a tour I'm giving.
"The title, Petty, is a reminder to myself to reject the performance of respectability. As a light-skinned, educated, able-bodied, black person that grew up in financial privilege, there is an expectation that people like me should be 'safe' black people to interact with. Some of us can pass as white, some of us can code switch from one vernacular to another, depending on who we're around, some of us can perform the expectations of white supremacy, in order to get ahead in this world. To me, Petty is a rejection of this performance."

'In The Possessor Possesses Nothing Xosar tells the story of a tonal mutation. A montage of attractions. A straddled comment on organ systems. This album is a play. Broken chords suffocate in waves and get back on the scene.
Trying to control the world
I see you won't succeed.
T'ien hsia shen ch'i
The world is a spiritual vessel
And cannot be controlled.
Those who control, fail.
Those who grasp, lose.
Some go forth, some are led,
Some weep, some blow flutes,
Some become strong, some superfluous,
Some oppress, some are destroyed.
Therefore the Sage
Casts off extremes,
Casts off excess,
Casts off extravagance.
Xosar cites the above passage from the Dao as a key point of inspiration for her new album The Possessor Possesses Nothing and it's a more than apt bit of poetic philosophy, given that her album is about one girl's quest to liberate herself from oppressive forces.
The making of the record was for her an "exercise in decisiveness, action and liberation." This is music making in part as self-therapy - with Xosar cleansing herself "from my own fears" and embracing "self-acceptance, self-trust, responsibility for oneself." But the music was also created under a state of "optimistic nihilism" aimed directly at "anti-perfectionism, anti-elitism, anti-censorship and anti-fear based programming." Xosar aiming not only to liberate herself and her creative process from internal restraints but her listeners from external restraints too. It's telling then that she found herself experiencing "the feeling of being a kid again and allowing pure expression to flow."
These are heady and brave ideals - part of a long series of varied investigations Xosar has been putting herself through not only as a musician but simply in life. She draws from research into the ideas of Alchemy, Magick, Kundalini Yoga, Fractals, DNA Structure, the Golden Ratio, Biofeedback, Quasicrystals, Visualizing higher dimensions, The Human Energy Field, Psychedelic Medicine, Stand Up Comedy, Sound Healing and much more. Hardly your everyday Techno producer, then. "The Possessor Possesses Nothing" somehow takes all these ongoing themes and turns them into a whole. Clear your mind, open your ears wide and prepare for a wild trip ahead.'

It's been 6 years since ALTZ.P released their debut single 'Dodop' in 2012 from a label 'Crue-l', which Kenji Takimi presides over. They've produced the black fat tight band sound, which is exotic and toxic but sharmanic and heavenly. Pulseman, the singular genius, has a perfect command of vibration frequency originating the groove. His minimalism and the Middle East disco beats by the drummer, Mau (ex-NEWEST MODEL), and the bass player, Shake Yoshimura, are intersecting organically. The one and only sound view of ALTZ, the star that shines on the scene, is spiritually colored by the shrine maiden chorus girls, Maririns, whose names are all Mari. Their psychedelic power of language in the soulful chorus is interesting. Also, 21CH (ex-DAMAGE) is performing the synthesizer as a guest player.

After Buitendijk's quintessential 2013 'Promised land' track on Mosaic, his sound's transition into tougher territories, prevalent in his series of releases via Oblique that demonstrate a palette of space-induced modulations. The label continues to create
emotionally driven techno of a deeply layered nature, having also released music by Deniro, Koen Hoets, Emmanuel Top, Refracted, and more.
Kicking off with a journey enveloping 9-minute track, 'Contamination Zone' is delicately filled with synthetic ambience and undulating minimalism. The track's energy gently grows throughout as the bleeped synth line and looping percussion patiently rises in intensity. 'Stardust' follows, continuing to transcend visionary type melodies in symmetry with acutely composed drums.
'Alternative Hypothesis' adopts a left-of-centre drum groove, harmonising authentically with the uplifting, otherworldly swells constant throughout, keeping the force of the track totally balanced.
