After the first release, "Narwal-Nirvana", Ongehoord comes with a 2nd release. Featuring more material from the Dutch cassette culture! Big tip.. The band Deadline Paranoia has been active in Amsterdam from 86 till 88. They have released 4 albums in small quantities. Their music was made and recorded at home with a great variety of instruments. This release is the first of a series of 3 records that will feature the essence of this band. The mastering is done by Brandenburg Mastering to ensure a high quality listening. Niels van Tomme (director of arts institute De Appel) has written the liner notes. The music has been carefully curated by Jeroen Vermandere while being in touch with the artists who worked on the project. Anton Westbom Weflo makes the graphic design for the Deadline Paranoia Releases, tracks compiled by label curator Jeroen Vermandere.

The Irish artist Diarmaid O Meara, fresh on the release of his 'In Your Head' album, joins the Teja collective with an eclectic and pulsating EP 'Take Over'. Dutch Ambient Techno producer Nadia Struiwigh debuts on Denovali Records with her new album full of dreamy Electronix!

After a barnstorming live reunion which saw them play to ecstatic audiences across Europe throughout 2017, Britain's giants of electronic music Orbital are back, with new music and an upgrade of the legendary live show that transformed festivals across the world.

First single Tiny Foldable Cities opened the account, an intricate piece of electro-hypnotica, takes their signature sound forward into a new and fascinating phase, heralding their first new album in five years, Monsters Exist.

Throughout 2018 they play a string of high-profile festival dates and headline shows across Europe, featuring new material alongside classics like 'Chime', 'Belfast' and 'Impact'.

This surge of creativity shows how reunited brothers Paul and Phil Hartnoll have rebuilt one of electronic music's best-loved partnerships after Orbital's surprisingly bitter break-up in 2012. They'd been onstage with Stephen Hawking at the Paralympics, in front of the whole world. They'd remixed Madonna. They'd played Glastonbury many times and travelled the world yet were driven apart by music's strange and infamous brother-vs-brother dynamic. But now the brothers have a pact: whatever happens, Orbital does not stop. They've learned to talk and accept each other. As Paul says, "If we were both the same, then it wouldn't be Orbital."

Thomas Hessler returns with his second full EP for IMF, with four tracks further establishing the on-the-rise German producer's talent for sleek, agile techno.
EP opener Push is the record's most intense cut, brimming with a powerful intent that's barely contained by the track's dramatic surging synths. It's followed by Rise, which matches its rhythmic urgency to an escalating melody that teases while it builds towards its cathartic 'house lights up' moment.
The record's B1 track, the aptly-titled Reflections, is the EP's most contemplative, with an unwavering pulse underpinning a subtle rising-and-falling melody that always threatens to burst into technicolour before dipping back into darkness. Finally, EP closer The Hope may be optimistically named yet is conversely the track most likely to incite dancefloor panic, with a drum rhythm that bucks like a rodeo bull, to which your best course of action is to hold on tight and enjoy the ride.

After his appearance on Born Free Records, Rollerboys Recordings, and Rett I Fletta, Johannes Wilkstrom aka Yourhighness contributes to Cocktail d'Amore Music with Stratofortress. The Berlin based imprint gathered techno guru Rrose, Born Free Records owner Samo DJ, and international Japanese wave representative Gonno, to offer an EP with a wide range of interpretations of the title track.
The original mix is an acid based, industrial influenced techno banger. Highly energetic, for sweaty late-night dance floors. On the same side Samo DJ transforms the techno blaster into a funky EBM ballad, characterized by a deep male voice and a breakbeat groove. Rrose is on remix duty on the B-side. Stratofortress suddenly turns into a dubby, everlasting build up, that eventually implodes in the depth of a black hole.
Closing the EP Gonno offers a slow-mo rework. Deep and very cinematic, this remix will please every Cosmic Hole connaisseur.

When looking for music to be released on Magazine, our guideline has always been energy. The key question remains the same: Does the artist have something important to say Does it have a sense of urgency Alex played us these tracks while visiting the Magazine studio in Cologne earlier this year and we were consumed by unadulterated rage. This is anything but a conceptual release, Alex has not released this kind of music before. A side of Alex manifests itself through these techno tracks, that most might not have known before. Brutal yet beautiful, furious yet fragile. A Berlin native who shaped his sense for techno by striving through his hometown and its infamous raves, Alex is now one of the prominent protagonists of that scene - not only when regularly playing at Berghain. The EP harnesses this experience perfectly, fully preserving the energy of the creation process by recording directly to tape. Most productions may have suffered from this primitive method of locking sound into position, but not these tracks from a techno master.

Since 2011, Smoke Machine have been running a successful and well established podcast series. Now, after 8 years, they have ventured into the offline realm and will release their first EP. The record features tracks by Blind Observatory, Dorisburg and Agnois. These artists have regularly played Smoke Machine parties and their larger event Organik festival and are in line with the Smoke Machine sound.

In quick succession to ARCS-03, which boasted remixes by The Mover, Shifted and Peder Mannerfelt, Cassegrain keep up the pressure with a new EP of originals - ARCS-04. Returning to their tunnelling hypnotic trademark sound over three focused, club-ready trips, the Arcing Seas heads channel varied and irrepressible moods into each track. Built on solid dancefloor founda-tions and rich in colourful, non-conventional sound design, they scan through tribal ritualism with A side 'Shahmaran', moving to the pumping urgency of 'Caracal' and the rolling post-acid workout of 'Vulpine'. ARCS-04 is a straight-up DJ-friendly 12'', something that's conveyed in the record's more minimalist artwork.

While carefully handling their respective careers, postponing then their obvious collaboration, Möd3rn trio's members have capitalized its desire and now deliver its mere substance, in the
rightest moment, where, simply, all the distant forces converge.

The six daring, expert hands merge now into a unique entity, unanimously moving within the same effort towards techno music. The formula is elaborated freely: each one's adjunctions -subtle keys, nervous chords, underground blows, rhythmical uproars- pour into a thick maelstrom, opaque, condensing Detroit's grieving sensibilities as well as last decade's bewildering cacophonies.
Chance intertwined their paths and now the three companions celebrate both the friendship that resulted and the good fortune that has driven it, by improvising live together as one faceless, solid body agitated by the urge of dance and music, composing the material that shall be processed later on to form their eponym label's releases.

This first album delivers us a raw & emotional techno. Through this long format, the 3 producers indulge more and expand the scope of their musical playground. Less condensed than an EP this album is a contemplative musical journey that awakens all the senses while remaining dedicated to the dancefloor. This album appears as an obvious decision, logical continuation of the story,
because Möd3rn was born from live. Today, Möd3rn shows us a varied panel of his efficient work, sensitive and powerful, combining strong feelings and dynamic energies.

Modular synthesis wizard Eddie Symons, aka Nullptr (null pointer), lands on CPU with some of the finest laid back analogue electro you will hear post 'Other People Place'. Fans of Cygnus and DMX Krew take note.

After his debut LP 'Optical' on Detroit Underground, Symons has firmly established himself as a class act to follow. Expect spacey wavetable pads, step sequencer conversations and killer modular bass.

Massive tune from very deep down. Ruede Hagelstein gives a lesson in Minimal Techno, Gunjah lets it rain dopamine. Both contenders for this year's remix throne. Madness.

One of our most mysterious and intriguing states of consciousness is the dream. We lose consciousness when we enter the deep waters of sleep, only to regain it as we emerge into a series of uncanny private realities. Through the fog of the mind we can get a glimpse of a world beyond our day to day realities that sometimes is able to show us deeper truths than those we face in awake states. Roger is one of those lucid pioneers that is able to translate these experiences into sound. Let him guide you through these wondrous clouds.

We're very happy to welcome Dutch-born German-raised Roger van Lunteren on SoHaSo for the first time. His Rosa Dos Ventos Ep is a four-track story that oozes retro vibes and nostalgia for a past that never seems to have existed. Utilizing raw 80's analog synths and humanoid acid lines he sets atmospheres that remind of Lynchian dreamscapes.

Vanish starts out with an emotional chord sequence, as you enter the fluid world of the subconscious. A gnarly bassline welcomes your arrival and lets you know things here aren't exactly what they seem. Journeying on through seemingly dark areas, it ends with a hopeful melody and the bass softens as you start feeling weightless. Uncontacted uses choral pads and two intertwining 303 sequences as a way of communicating between the different dimensions.

Aroy Dee remixing Vanish is like taking a psychotropic liquid, adding more drive to the original while retaining the emotive synth patterns. Sleepless is Roger's hardest cut on the record, again providing directly plugged in 303 goodness and stomping beats. It rounds off a balanced ep with plenty of introspective dance material.

Blocaus series is back and explores this time the deep side of things guided by the fearless AWB lighting the way. The Parisian based producer AWB is well know to be the owner of Taapion Records with Shlomo and PVNV and also released music on Soma Records and Raw Imprint. AWB's sound oscillates between deep / atmospheric techno, with film scoring influence which are reflected in this EP. He delivers 4 fantastic cuts including an outstanding remix by Peter Van Hoesen all on the edge of an amazing melancholic and deep techno style.

Mirror Box is the solo analog synth project of Dallas musician Sean Kirkpatrick. With an extensive resume that includes keyboard duties for Kill Rock Stars' 00s noise rock band The Paper Chase as well as his concurrent projects, dark post-punk-synth-rockers Nervous Curtains and darkwave duo Little Beards, Mirror Box is Kirkpatrick's first foray into the purely electronic realm. Blending together elements of Giallo moodiness, dub texture, techno propulsion, a passing nod to your favorite wave music, and a flare for the kosmiche, Mirror Box' debut release, Minimal Compliance EP, is a tour de force of the veteran musician's exploration of a wide range of influences and experience.

Released by Dallas-based Gavin Guthrie (TX Connect)'s TRU (Texas Recordings Underground), the 5-track EP kicks off with the immediately-gripping title track. A huge mid-tempo 808 beat drives the menacing Moog bass while cosmic synths explore the skies over gritty, urban terrain. 'The Body,' grounded by its stuttering and singular bass line, is an expansive reworking of a track from Little Beards' debut album which features Nan Kirkpatrick on the release's only vocal appearance. Side A closes with 'Destabilized Agent,' a retro-futurist dream that effortlessly voyages from Sagan's Cosmos to a melodic minimal wave refrain.

While the first side's lush synthesizers and sophisticated syncopation are somewhat of a departure for TRU, a label that has so far defined itself by bringing the electronic sounds of Texas' underground warehouse scene to dance floors across the sea, the flip side of the record is where the four hits the floor. 'Grifter React' opens with a hard kick and electro zaps, letting the rhythm take the lead until a distorted bass finally enters to provide the hook. Minimal Compliance EP finale, 'Critical Blitz,' weaves together all of Mirror Box' finer elements into a concise mission statement. Pulsing, hypnotic mono-synth, vintage mellotrons, classic hats and claps, sweeping production (courtesy of Alex Bhore at Dallas' Elmwood studios) and sparse synth melodies converge in dark analog pleasure that will guide you along like on a cool air-conditioned drive through a devilishly hot Texas night.:

Italian brothers Mr. Bizz are making their fire debut on Codex with amazing Core EP. Having solid release profile on the strongest Tech labels like Transmit, Alleanza, Bitten, Terminal M, Funkin Deep Records they have delivered three brilliant tracks Core, Red Code and Hide Me. Top class production techno masterpieces which ones we are very proud to press on Codex' wax. The release has been powered by nasty & brutal sound of french rising star ( Wex 10 ). Quentin was already well known by his tracks and remixes on Riot Recordings, Naked Lunch, DSR Digital, Remain Records, Respekt Recordings and more and we are also very happy to have this tallent on board of our label.

In this fourth vinyl episode, the Italian based producer also known as Sonntag Morgen and Methodical label head delivers three sophisticated gems designed for dancefloors, combining hypnotic bleeps, banging kicks and deeper textures. B2 also features a stunning remix from french craftsman Birth of Frequency.

22 Digit LTD is the vinyl only off shot of UK based 22 Digit Records, and this new release is upfront House
music in the style of artists like Mr. G. This 22 Digit LTD release is a collaboration between UK stalwart Moodymanc and label boss William Welt
with solo remixes from Appleblim and Alland Byallo. Moodymanc also known to many as Dubble D, is a Manchester based artist who boasts seminal releases on labels including Tsuba, Local Talk and 20/20 Vision among many others of a similar calibre. William Welt is a young artist who now based in Manchester, cut his teeth in Newcastle upon Tyne, and has releases on labels including Traum and CONSTRUCT.
The first of the remixes comes from Appleblim, whose bass heavy sound has been a regular feature of
imprints inclouding R&S Records, Aus Music, Tempa and Skull Disco. Second of the remixes comes from Alland Byallo, who has previously released on labels including Third Ear, Get Physical, Poker Flat, Moodmusic, Dirt Crew and Rawax.

WLDERZ are back on skryptom for a new EP. This is a pure powerfull record of techno but deep and melodious in the same time. ALGO and BASED are killers for 2 different reason, the first is a pure techno dancefloor killer and the second federate the people with his nice melody. There is a third original very deep who's making the dancers dreaming. And we have the big honour to receive SleepArchive for a remix that makes his own print on minimal techno scene, raw, powerfull but minimal, enjoy !

Berlin based Zehnin keeps up a fine release schedule by asking Blawan to remix its inaugural EP from Lucy. Once again focussing on experimental, ambient and techno sounds, it is another fascinating release. Blawan has been in his own sound world for years now. Releasing on the likes of Hessle Audio, Hinge Finger and his own Ternesc, he's made brutalist, heavily textured tracks, big room tools and dark grooves with freaky sound design. It's all helped to make him one of the most interesting producers of the day, and here he shows another side to his sound. First up is his version of 'The Hermit,' which is seven spacious and mysterious minutes of creeping pads and implicit rhythms. Dark but inviting, it's stripped back, hollowed out techno that manages to be hugely absorbing and menacing without any clearly defined drums. On the flip is the equally beguiling 'The High Priestess'. Deep, subliminal kicks set the tone as groaning riffs, train-track percussion and distant, tortured pads all slowly hypnotise. It builds in pressure and creeps you out as it locks you ever further in. This is evocative dead-of-night music that says a lot in impressively economical ways.

Hailing from Tel Aviv, and cutting her chops on the Los Angeles underground, Mor Elian is a relatively new name on the block, but her deft tastes have seen her share the stage with the likes of Kerri Chandler, Mike Dunn, Seven Davis Jnr, DJ Qu and many more, and most recently, releasing her debut vinyl release on the excellent Prime Numbers label, featuring FXHE's OB Ignitt on remix duties. On 'Drum Vortex', Mor strikes a killer release for Hypercolour, enlisting two big remixes on the release from Joey Anderson and Markus Suckut. On her original mix, 'Drum Vortex' rolls out a ricocheting drum workout that indeed goes through the vortex; otherworldly voices and cosmic drones sit in the middle of the mix whilst the rides and hats intensify. Joey Anderson has proven himself as one of the most diverse house producers out there, with offerings for Dekmantel, Syncrophone Recordings and Tanstaafl Planets. Joey remodels 'Drum Vortex' into an old style warehouse dub; rolling congas and snares with incessant synth stabs and bending strings, making up for one serious remix from Mr. Anderson. Another interpretation is on offer from Markus Suckut, whose techno prowess has shone for labels like Rekids, Be As One, Mosaic and his own Exile label (run with Johannes Heil). Suckut's trademark dense beats are in play here, shuffling hats and micro bleeps weave through vocal elements and sturdy percussive work, bringing a touch of the Berghain style to this remix package. Closing the release is another original production from Mor; 'Basma' again focuses of the drum groove, with bright and springing claps bouncing off the hazy bottom ends and melodic touches. Pacey and energetic, Mor gets bang on the groove to carve out a club little B2 style track in time honoured traditition.

Taking on a true trance classic and a personal favorite of his, Len Faki takes us back to the golden era of big melodies and early raves, sharing two very distinct interpretations of Firedance by Odyssee of Noises, the prolific production outfit helmed by Ralf Hildenbeutel. Originally released in 1994 on legendary label Eye Q, this track marked a special period for Faki, when he was fully immersing himself into the scene, and accompanied him through his most formative times as a dancer and a becoming DJ.Brimming with the iconic elation of those nights, side A keeps with the emotive theme of the original's Sunrise version, tweeking only slightly to cater for the needs of these days' dancers. Re-shaping the classic to match modern productions for it to be mixed with current bangers, Faki packs the tune's anthemic appeal into a propulsive ride down memory lane...

ae Recordings is the infamous sublabel of Thule Records, which was responsible for some of the finest techno releases from Iceland in the early 2000s. This collaboration between two titans of the Icelandic electronic music scene, Thor & Yagya, was one of the pedestals of the Thule Musik dynasty. Originally released in 1998, it still stands the test of time even ages gracefully like a good red wine, where the the harsh tannins of its youth gradually give way to a softer mouthfeel.

Ooger deliveres finely crafted techno with glacial atmosphere a blend Thule records has long time ago perfected. The phuture isn't what it used to be The Phuture is Cow.
ae Recordings/Thule Records is considered by many to be a pioneers in the field of dub-influenced techno music and was a starting point for many of Iceland's most renowned electronic musicians.

This 20th EP finds heavyweights DVS1, Sterac and Ryan Elliot all remixing some released and unreleased originals by label owners Japser Wolff & Maarten Mittendorff. Their last solo EP on the label, Cosmic Language, marked the 10th release on the label, right here they celebrate the 20th release with a fine techno affair that summed up their now six year old outlet perfectly with some of their favourite producers aboard.

I first heard of Julixo when I put my hands on his fantastic EP called Silas released on Rauh 005.
After that, I kept a close eye on the sounds he was posting, and when I heard REBHO, I knew we were going to do something together. The warm synth line, together with the jackin drum patterns, were perfect. Then came REFLECTIONS, which fitted superbly with REBHO. Although slower, and maybe more introspective, you still have that warm feeling going through the track.
We decided to go with LIFE OF CRIME on the other side of the record. Much more aggressive in its construction, that track deserved a side on its own: modern techno at its best.
I hope you will enjoy this nice versatile release as much as I do!

The fifth record on NEW YORK TRAX is by Løt.te, the Turkish-born, Brooklyn-based DJ, producer and designer affiliated with The Bunker New York by virtue of two well-received vinyl releases. This politically charged EP titled 'State of Exception' is Løt.te's personal reflection on the current social and political climate in Turkey. With rhythmic synths brought to the foreground, Løt.te committed a masterpiece that only a skilled and thoughtful artist like himself can. The opening 'Ultra Vires' is a relentless synth-driven warehouse track mercilessly rolling at the speed of 140BPM. The deeper Ausnahmezustand follows; it is a reflective and rhythmical piece perfect for both home listening and the dance floor. 15.07.2016 opens the B side with its tense yet playful atmosphere and numerous constantly evolving layers of sound. Finally, Graft is a shockingly intense introspective piece. Crafted with Japanese taiko drums and digital synthesizers pushed to their limits, it is a lesson in perfect sound design.

We have the tremendous pleasure to welcome Manuel De Lorenzi to Bad Barbie Records with his Company EP, including three ground-shaking tracks for our next vinyl release. The first track called Company as ep, starts with a solid tech house base composed by several old school elements, like the hi-hats, with a great organic and raw sound. But is not after that the main synth riff enters the scene that the story really begins and the groove is finally completed. This synth riff with a subtle delay effect that plays around in the stereo image, truly creates a fantastic vibe, which gets round up beautifully by the bass line that finally gives this track an amazing party groove. The second track called A Child has a more elaborated groove and a deeper vibe than then previous one. With several percussion layers articulating each other and plenty of occasional fx and sounds, combined with the deep stabs and synth in the backend, create a cloudy atmosphere that is near the border of hypnotic too. A great delicate track with a superb quality to listen and play. The last of this three tracks is Jack Malleus, a fantastic collaboration between Manuel and Andrea Speed, which resulted in nothing less than a powered deep tech driven by an involving and groovy string bass line. The constant texture sounds in the backend working as pads, and the crazy and tweaked vocals, complement all together working perfectly as the main responsible sounds to elaborate the underground and yet strong ambience that characterizes this track.

Kondi proudly welcomes Reedale Rise to the imprint with this beautiful 2x12" debut album by one of the most fascinating and talented electro producers around these days. After the solid releases on Frustrated Funk and Where We Met it seems the Liverpool wonder AKA Simon Keat has impressed almost everyone with his unique take on classic house and techno compositions in a wide range; from the moody and groovy beats by Detroit legends Carl Craig and Derrick May, while staying close to Drexciya, ITDWIP and Jeremiah R in term of texture and arrangement all mixed with a sound design and ambience found in early Autechre and LTJ Bukem - just to top it up with a tiny little bit of that 90s club minded UK sound delivered by Leftfield, Orbital and LFO. Beautiful synth pads, punchy, crunchy and groovy electro beats arranged around a good ol' fashioned analogue synth bass with a characteristic bending synth lead sound on top is really hard not to love and pretty much sums up what Reedale Rises electrofunk journeys are all about. The Europe-centered techno scene might be thinking: Where is techno in a city as vast, dynamic and electric as New York It's alive and well, and keeps growing through aptly-named NEW YORK TRAX. Founded in 2016 and based in Brooklyn, NEW YORK TRAX is an outlet for New York music, by New York artists, in New York city.
The artist behind the fourth New York Trax release needs no introduction. Steve Stoll is one of the pioneers and founding fathers of New York techno. Producing pure, minimalist analogue-minded techno (even though his career began as a drummer with the industrial label Wax Trax), Steve Stoll has recorded for his own label Proper NYC, Trax Records, Djax, Nova Mute and many more, including his recent appearances on Nina Kraviz's imprint Trip. This record on New York Trax is the essence of Steve Stoll's style: minimal, driving, with a subtle groove that sinks in the rich texture of sound. Last years (2017) edition of Convenanza festival featured Swedish band Fontan, who have released material on Hoga Nord Rekords, and that set the ground for a collaboration between the record label and one of the most interesting festivals around. The joint forces has resulted in the compilation album 'Convenanza 2018' containing this years (2018) acts.
The contributors are: electro oozing duo Woodleigh Research Facility, consisting of Andrew Weatherall and Nina Walsh, etno-minimalists Komodo Kollektif from Glasgow with, among others, Gordon Mackinnon who's running the top quality label Invisible Inc. The more rock oriented side of 'Convenanza 2018' contains Berlin based Die Wilde Jagd, whose sound can be defined as some sort of post punk where strong chorus drenched basslines float upon a smooth electronic soundscape with both live drums and drum machines as the back bone to the beat. Wild Woman & The Savages could best be described as the result of an orgy between PIL and The Birthday Party! The Liminanas, with special guest Anton Newcombe, contribute to the collection a garage psych rock track suited for long hot drives through the dessert.
Weatherall's unfailing 'fingerspitzengefuhle' in picking artists for the festival gets repeated yet again and if you for some unexplainable reason fail to make it to Carcassonne this year, the magic from the old castle still can reach your senses with the help from this compilation!

Sender Berlin, the producer duo of Hendrik Vaak and Torsten Litschko, belong to the great discovers of the 90´s Tresor Headquarters generation. Their "Spektrum Weltweit" debut album released on Tresor Records in 1999, with its subtly fusion of filigree grooves, minimalistic deepness and playful melodies is one of today´s classics in the techno genre. Allmusic appreciates their work with the words: "Sender Berlin keeps tweaking theirsongwriting, never recycling the same song idea twice, but still using a consistent palette of sounds to differing results with each song." The unity of multiplicity influenced also the main idea of their UnGleich record label which was founded in the same year and which set standards as related to stylistic bandwidth and uncompromising quality.

With this cryptic feedback loop, Laurent Prot is suggesting that the new technologies we are developing now, for use in our near future could result in catastrophe when human control is lost to the self-learning of AI. The homicidal consequences of a machine take-over find visual form in the bleak, dystopian aesthetic of Evelyn Bencicova's cover artwork.

Next up on Dusky's renowned 17 Steps label is the return of long term pal Kiwi. Having supported the lads on 9 of the 17 Steps tour dates and having also provided the 15th release in the label catalogue - the fellow Londoner now readies his 'Oooh' EP which comes backed up with a remix from Feel My Bicep affiliate Hammer.

Kiwi's sound is one defined by positive, kinetic feeling - joining the dots between Detroit Techno, Soul and Balearic. With previous releases on Futureboogie, Life and Death and Moscoman's lauded Disco Halal imprint, he's garnered several accolades including reaching number #85 in Mixmag's Top 100 tunes of 2017 and sitting at #1 in the genre chart for a total of 9 weeks with his 'Orca' EP back in 2016.

Now - continuing on his ascent, Kiwi lays out a pair of rapturous, gooey House jams that lands right on time for the festival season. On 'Oooh' - Vocal lines swirl over a largely beatless backing track. A rich, balmy feeling unfolds behind synth chimes and layered delays which work together to form an irresistible summer DJ tool. 'Andromeda' then follows up and blends 80's soundtrack-tinged stabs with crispy drums and thick sub bass before being accompanied by a pulsating synth line that carries the track to a delectable crescendo. Hammer then closes things up with a somewhat hallucinogenic take on 'Oooh' with LFOs, analogue sweeps and blobs of acid bleeding together to cap off an altogether warm and woozy trip.

Berlin based electronic mainstay Marquis Hawkes has announced details of his second LP 'The Marquis of Hawkes', due out 24th August 2018. Ahead of this, Hawkes will release a new single featuring acclaimed UK soul singer Jamie Lidell on the 20th July. The single, entitled 'We Should Be Free', features, alongside the low slung but melancholic original version, three reinterpretations of the song, remixed by Hawkes himself. Both this, and the essential previous single from June, 'Don't U', which featured the vocal talents of Ursula Rucker, will appear on the forthcoming album in an extended version.The album will be the producer's second LP for us, following his critically acclaimed debut 'Social Housing' for the label, which was released in 2016. Entitled 'The Marquis of Hawkes', the new album adheres to a specific sound palette whilst still displaying eclecticism across its eight tracks. Opening with the beat-less droning ambience of 'Beton Theme', the album takes in a variety of themes from across the house music spectrum, from the deep and dubby meditation of 'Instrument Of Thought' to the body jerking rhythms and retro bass stabs of 'Tough Love', the introspective mood of 'The Matrix', to the soulful New Jersey styled House grooves with a contemporary twist of 'Sunset', building through the optimistic joyousness of 'Hope In Our Hearts' before closing with Lidell's heartfelt and passionate emotional overload on 'We Should Be Free'. As with the previous two releases on the label, 'Rellik' was recorded live and on the first take using a selection of analog synths, drum machines and sequencers, particularly the warm and dynamic sound of the E-Mu SP 1200 as the lead.
'The 'Rellik' project is a mashup between Rock and Hip Hop elements using SP1200 classic drum kits, filtered and distorted synths. We call this Krauttech' - MASK Intense sirens set the tone of the A1 before introducing a thumping sub and delayed snares, making way for harsh bass and dark effects in the A2 to generate an ominous atmosphere. On the flip, the B1 brings crunchy, modulated synths alongside an intense and thunderous kick whilst the B2 delivers a thick, pulsating low-end with an assortment of metallic and heavy drones that round off this cryptic
package.

Founder of Frenetica and Fine Human Records, Dino Lenny starts young as a dj in a small radio in Cassino (Italy) and after a while he moves to London where soon he starts enjoying successful releases on labels like Ellum, Innervisions, Crosstown Rebels, Exploited, Yoshitoshi, Toolroom, Suara and many others. Dino also gaines notoriety remixing Underworld, Missy Elliot, Timbaland and collaborating with everyone from Scissor Sisters to WuTang Clan and Madonna. The brilliantly beguiling R-Zone series hits release number 20 with another genre defying four track EP by no one knows who. As always, the music looks backwards to go forwards and frantically blends breakbeat, rave, acid, house, electro and techno into wild new forms. The Parliament of Dreams closes things down with more haunting celestial pads and cold acid lines that are all backed by boom-bap breakbeats. It's dance floor euphoria of the highest order once more.

You gotta jump on this tune. There's no denying the driving bass line that drags your body into the sound. Being the moving power, this solid "bass-plate" gets built up and down by bright highlights and jumping tunes. A little fatalistic roaring, some swirl here and there, yet every sound feels right where it should be. It is a playful but not at all naïve conglomerate of home made, easy going techno sounds, reminding you a little of back then, but first and foremost letting you groove right now! Confused Machines' are excited to release an E.P by the composer and producer Ishai Adar (aka Oosh). Adar started his musical journey in the mid 80's as the keyboard player of the legendary Israeli post-punk band 'Nosei Hamigbaat', together with his high school friend Ohad Fishof.After his withdrawal from the band, he released 'Her': An innovative, experimental, electronic dance album, rare in the Israeli music scene of the late 90's. In this album, he fused 80's synth-pop influences ('Depeche Mode', etc.) with a cutting edge techno sound, which still sounds up to date. This album influenced the local underground electronic music scene of the late 90's.Following the album 'Her', Adar became a prominent composer and created soundtracks for motion pictures such as: 'Year Zero' (2004), Oscar-nominated 'Beaufort' (2007), 'A Film Unfinished' (2010), 'Bethlehem' (2013) and 'Mr. Gaga' (2015).In his current project '12', Adar revisits the synth-pop sounds which shaped his musical taste. He infuses profoundness and character to musical genres such as new-wave, Italo-disco, Euro-pop and contemporary dance music forming - multi-layered, euphoric and romantic melodies. A killer acid-techno remix of the track 12 by the legendary Rude 66 is included in the E.P.

A chance encounter at university during the Acid House summer of '88 and subsequent bonding over Baby Ford's 'Oochy Koochy' established a life-long friendship between Leicester lads, Jimi O'Callaghan and Al Green. Inspired by the sounds of Detroit, early NY House like Murk and Masters at Work and the emerging UK sounds of LFO, Orbital and Aphex Twin, the pair began DJing and making music as The Wild Geese. Their first EP, 'The Wild Geese EP', was released in 1994 on their own Giddy Goose Recordings imprint. The guys pressed 500 copies and, with Jimi's connections made interning with Pete Tong's FFRR, sold copies direct to London shops. The record sported packaging designed to look like an American 12' and an accompanying press release attributed the EP to a fictitious DJ duo hailing from Wisconsin. Rave reviews followed and a distribution deal was struck with Vital UK, who produced and sold another 500 copies worldwide. Another EP followed a year later. Sadly, plans for a third EP on the label never materialized, but the pair remain close to this day. 24 years later we are honored to reintroduce this genre-defying, uniquely forward-thinking EP to today's dance floors.

Baxter and Barnett, creators and founding members of FOUR313, now have a second FOUR313 release and this time out the dynamic duo unleashes a well-rounded, four track vinyl EP. Side A has two songs produced by Blake Baxter with A1 being a Detroit house styled tune titled 'Agape', featuring Blake's classic, soft-spoken word style. A2 is a party starter, big room, dance-floor filler appropriately titled 'Let's Get It Started'. Side B has two tracks produced by Thomas Barnett with B1 aptly titled "Mandela Effect', this is a Detroit techno styled track with Barnett's signature bassline sound. B2 is titled 'Magnetofunk' & has a vintage feel that uniquely transforms into a modern day, prime-time groove, a must have for DJs. Blake And Thomas are setting their sights on touring as the DJ unit "FOUR313" in the Fall of 2017 with the theme & tour name, 'Reconstruction'. Their concept is one which supports new artists and incorporates them into future FOUR313 releases, FOUR313's purpose is to come together as artists, to reconstruct their past, present, and future while building a new beginning.

In those times of newfound experimental conformity, it is sometimes needed to go back to simplicity. This may be where DJ OIL is leading us to. You think you know what you can expect but common ground is not always in your head, it is sometimes under your feet.

Comprised of the duo of Emmanuel Corre and Silvere Letelier, Nummer have surprised and impressed many with their fresh take on the last 20+ years of dance music. Inspired by the deepest strains of Detroit, Chicago, New York and their native France the pair have tapped into something that few artists manage these days - an original style. This sprawling 2 x 12" touches on many of these cornerstones but never apes anyone's sound or vibe, forging their own path into the cosmos and beyond. Machine music with a beating heart is central to the 'Second Sight' atmosphere and Nummer's character as producers. This is the deepness.

Greek producer Fluxion returns to Danish imprint Echocord in January with his 'Upsides & Sideways EP', comprising three original productions.
The Athens-based artist has spent nearly two decades
honing his craft both on stage through his live improvised performances and in the studio, producing records for the likes of Chain Reaction, Vibrant Music and Subwax Bcn.
Copenhagen's Echocord has consistently delivered high quality dub techno from the likes of Roberto Clementi, Brendon Moeller and Luke Hess since its inception in 2001 and now Fluxion returns with his twelfth outing on the label with his latest material.
Fluxion opens with 'En route', employing sharp percussive foundations, white noise atmospheres and haunting chord rogressions which evolve throughout the track before 'The Place' offers dubbed out synthesiser motifs and glitching arpeggios which are underpinned by echoing drums and a subtle bass melody. 'Flick' then closes out the release with spacey synth riffs developing over groove-led percussion and a warm, distorted low-end.
