* Moa Pillar returns with his second LP, 'Hymns', on Karelian label Full of Nothing. To be released on July 28th, 'Hymns' follows the epic album 'Humanity' (2015).

* Offering up five tracks of transcendental heavy bass and beats, Moa Pillar aka Fedor Pereverzev, slams the worlds of authentic folk, tribal music, forward thinking electronica and dark techno together, unapologetically creating illuminating effects on his latest LP. Refusing to follow convention, Pereverzev produces his own, soul elevating sound art with his eclectic textures and sounds.

* Each track on 'Hymns' challenges the traditional meaning of its namesake. Even the meditative 'And the Moon Stopped' has an undercurrent of darkness offering, itself listening like a sacrifice to the higher energies. Developing a niche sound the producer explains; 'my music is all about energy, no physics, it's about the spirit'.

* Pereverzev first rose to prominence during his late teens after setting new age trends in the Russian beats scene circa 2009. Two years after the excellent 'Hunting' EP, Moa Pillar began to experiment with harder sounds and different forms, leading him to the sounds he creates today. Outside of Moa Pillar, Pereverzev is one of Russia's leading sound designers and co-founder of audio-production studio, Monoleak - they have recorded music for the likes of NASA and Mercedes. He has also enjoyed great success with film Bonfires and Stars premiered at Visions du Reel Festival, which follows him to the Caucasus where he collaborated with local folk musicians.

This was exactly around the time Edge of Motion first made their mark on electronic music. Even now, decades after they first burst on the scene, seminal tracks like Set Up 707 and albums like Planet Gong Realities and Ad Hoc are still frequently played by techno's most revered selectors.

With the techno scene broadening its scope again in recent years - also embracing more experimental forms of electronic music like ambient and electronica - it was time for an Edge of Motion comeback, Dylan Hermelijn and Gertjan Schonewille agreed.

Firmly rooted in the radical 90's, but with twenty more years of production skills under their belt and a keen ear for contemporary Techno and ambient, they're once again paving the way for innovative electronic music.

In 2016, they start their EOM (vinyl only) label as an under the radar side project, just a cool platform for them to put out some of their most outrageous material. But since the first few releases stirred up quite a storm, they've now also agreed on doing a few
live shows. But only the shows where they can be all across the board. It's the love of experimental techno that has brought them
together after all and they'd like to keep that spirit alive.

With Liam Peete's techno project FAC3OFF Break New Soil labelowner Gregor Tresher will again meet the taste of all lovers of banging bigroom techno monsters. While the basic vibe always remains dark the Trapez artists always finds ways to stick in some additional harmonies and vocal snippets to make that extra difference.

While the original album 'Quiet Distortion still resonates on dance floors around the world, we are more than happy to present to you a wonderful and versatile remix package of select album tracks. We believe the lineup of remixers really speaks for itself:

First up we have Nicole Moudaber, who has established a notable presence amongst the elite techno elite. Nicole transforms the title track of the album to an epic 10 minute journey that - dropped at the right moment of the night - will definitely let the magic happen.

Next up we have Wigbert, hailing from Offenbach in Germany and releasing on Dubfire´s Sci+Tec and Carlo Lio´s Rawthentic, who also reworked the title track. Wigbert builds his version around the original strings to create a dense remix that explodes in a monstrous breakdown!

Third on the lineup we have Jewel Kid from Malta, who just recently released a stunning EP on our little label and who delivers the bigroom mix on this package, twisting the original melodies to an apocalyptic dance floor destroyer.

Soma artists Gemini Voice Archive have been a mainstay in Gregor´s DJ-sets for the past year with their distinctive and unique hypnotic sound - another perfect match for this remix package - they picked Safehouse and boy, did they deliver!

Alter Echo / AKA Sound Secretion (Josh Derry), has spent the last fifteen years working as a dub scientist of the highest order and performed in the United States, Mexico, Canada, France, and Senegal. Creating a highly distinctive sound and collaborating with DJ Spooky, Lee Perry, Mad Professor, Scientist, Twilight Circus, Dr. Israel, and Systemwide, he often works as the 'Hidden Hand', perfecting and alloying disparate materials into completely new dub forms. Alongside E3, he was one of the founders of world-renowned future-dub label BSI Records, and has released music on ZamZam, Khaliphonic, Moonshine, Lava Lava, BSI, M Records, Six Degrees, Thirsty Ear, Sub Rosa, and Bangarang.

E3 (Ezra E Ereckson) is a producer, DJ, and co-boss of the ZamZam Sounds and Khaliphonic recordlabels. A founding member of Portland's pioneering agit-dub band Systemwide and the president of now retired BSI Records, E3 has been collecting records since the age of 13 and DJing for over 15 years. Past Portland residencies such as Deeper Roots, Bassism, and Atlas (one of the earliest and longest-running global bass parties in the US), as well as regular rotation at Various and now Signal, have cemented his reputation as a sonic tactician without boundaries, borders, or genre constraints - all of it is rooted in a deep love of reggae and dub. E3 has remixed Ishan Sound for Bristol's Hotline label, and has 7' vinyl releases on 45Seven, Bella Union, and Boomarm Nation, and has represented ZamZam from Echo Chamber in Brooklyn, New York to Subdub in Leeds, England.

Alter Echo & E3 have extremely deep roots in dub and are in high demand in the world of underground sound system music since their first 7', 'Kufic Dub' backed with 'Dub Is Not Easy," dropped on ZamZam in early 2013. Their signature productions have varied tempos with thick, heavy atmospheres, masterful dubbing, vinyl archaeology, and loads of sonic detail and intrigue. Whether floor-filling or abstract, the Alter Echo & E3 sound is unmistakable. Their second ZamZam release, 'Nubian Dub' backed with 'Warning Dub' created worldwide appeal, championed by selectors from Dub War to Joe Nice, Pinch to The Bug—and received a glowing 9 out of 10 in Mixmag. Both tunes spawned remixes on Khaliphonic from Ishan Sound, Egoless and DJ Madd. A third 7" release followed in partnership with Young Echo's Rider Shafique, and the Bristol bonds grew even tighter with a B-side remix on Ishan Sound's 'Rush On The Tonic' 7'. In December of 2016 Alter Echo & E3 debuted their mutant dancehall hallucinations on Ossia's new Lava Lava label, and in January 2017, a 12' on Moonshine gained mass appeal.

Tetrad is the dubstep and bass music project of L.A.-based musician, producer, songwriter, and DJ, Cheyne Bush. A lifelong musician, Cheyne learned jazz on saxophone and guitar in school, and punk and experimental music at home. Gaining experience as a youth, starting a band called Issue 89, playing a fusion of street punk and ska, and joining a metalcore band MidMourn on vocals and synthesizers, he turned to electronic music when he experimented with music software, tinkered with Ableton Live, and began listening to Aphex Twin, Autechre, and Boards of Canada. Cheyne spent his first year of college at Berklee College of Music and completed his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Music Technology at California Institute of The Arts (CalArts) in 2012 and a Masters of Fine Arts in Film and Video in 2015. As he developed his style and listened to deep minimal techno, a new sonic influence came from his burgeoning interest in 4x4 and 2-step Garage music -- dubstep, most specifically Burial and Shackleton. Discovering the Hyperdub and Skull Disco artists, and listening to early DMZ, Deep Medi, and Chestplate releases, Tetrad shifted his sound in this new direction. Following multiple collaborations with Brukha as Friendly Strangers in 2007 and LMNOP as Cybertooth in 2009, Cheyne started recording solo as Tetrad in 2015 and released a clutch of deep and weighty dubstep tunes Sure State in the United States and Heavyweight in the United Kingdom. Most recently, he released his vinyl début with the 7' single 'Awaken Dub' on Portland, Oregon's vaunted ZamZam Sounds label, and a follow-up 7" with newly debuting Bay Area label Material Sound with his tune "Eazy Street."

The seven new tracks presented here Acould easily be described as a great dub techno album by the lazy hack but the sound palette used goes way beyond that, Afusing elements from detroit, drone, industrial, and ambient techno which when coupled with his production techniques result Ain a sound that is uniquely G.r.i.t ATake opening title track "Difting from the bay" which draws on the sounds of detroit with emotive chords and delicate percussion, or " Principle" with deep distorted Amodulations. If you want a Adance floor cut Alook no futher that " Expansed" Awhich grooves with driving chords, and Asubtle persussive builds, Aor for Asomething heavier there is "Pheonix" Awhich would sound quite at home in any techno main room. Tracks such "Piagga" and "Dead faces.." balance heavy industrial beats and noises with meloncholy chords and pads to produce tracks of immense depth and feeling. And closing the album perfectly is "Immersion" with mournful AAmbient works-esq Achords and melodies, in which you will indeed find yourself drifting from the bay.....

Something Happening Somewhere head honcho Nuno dos Santos is presenting his first and very personal EP on his label called Trigonometry of Love. After his Wibaut127 and a string of acclaimed remixes it's time to let Nuno speak from the heart, being one of those souls who knows there is no reward without renunciation.
As a departure point, Storm Inside doesn't beat around the bush. With it's eerie vibe, thundering claps and stomping bassline it feels like there's something dark stirring inside. You have to take a dip into the unknown before you can embark on your journey. Trippy and chopped up sounds make way for the breath of a vocal before returning back to the abyss. Sound molded into an angry tour de force for the basement.

Newcomer Struction joins the R&S family for a titanic EP of dystopian post-rave experimentation - the 4 track release, entitled 'Gefüge', effortlessly crystallises the best parts of R&S's storied musical heritage without coming off like pastiche.
From the jacked menace of opener 'Kreen', a dizzying percussive assault of breakbeats and 808 kicks, it's clear that Struction means business. 'Warrior' follows on with deep end breakbeats cut through with melancholic synth washes.
The flip side commences with 'Ai', all skittering percussion, swelling distorted pads and relentless kick drum thrum, while 'Dolly' rounds out the release in fine style, quickening the pulse with its hypnotic FM bass polyrhythms, scything cymbals and icy strings.With this release Struction marks himself as one to watch very closely for the future, as well as once again showing R&S's commitment to nurturing new talent, as well as releasing the best cutting edge electronic music.

Moscow based Lipelis returns to L.I.E.S. under his TMO moniker this time in collaboration with producer Andy Butler. This gets straight and to the point harkening back to the Bleep days of old (think LFO or Rhythmatic as a starting point) and does major damage. Traditional 12 inch style with alternate mixes on the A and B sides, take warning this will fly.

Following the release of his debut album as Trevino earlier this year, Marcus 'Intalex' Kaye marks his first notch on the Hotflush bedpost with a plucky four-track EP, wearing all the stripes that an artist of his experience and versatility has earned.
Kaye's four-to-the-floor productions as Trevino have always possessed a latent sheen from the dynamic world of drum and bass where he first made his name. Here it's evident in the impeccably balanced mix of lead track, 'Slide Away', where forlorn melody is driven as much by bass as it is by liquid chords. The tempo is upped on 'Mosaic' - a techno record that follows an uplifting path - and on Desecrate it's in fifth gear with a bass line that rolls and grows and bangs and rolls. The high-speed, echo chamber dub of 'Jungle Love' rounds off an EP of notable range.

After a career in electronic music spanning more than twenty years and so far yielding over fifty vinyls under a host of guises, ALEX CORTEX now delivers his latest treat, his own label, RANGE. It will be home, of course, to his own music, but will also welcome guests that in some way played a role on his path. No specific rules have been set as to musical styles, very much alike the diversity ALEX CORTEX is known and respected for. The thread holding it all together is authenticity.

On 'Cosmic Microwave Background' AnD put their full scope to work. The result was a record that fidgeted restlessly between a bleeding dancefloor and more airy machinist musings. But even suspended somewhere deep in the voids of space, the duo's industrial insignia was never too far away. To remix the record, then, it made sense to honour it's foundations with a carefully curated cast gathered from techno's outer rim.

Released as a two-part EP, the album's eerie, soothing closer gets picked up by Speedy J and Lucy as Zeitgeber and Black Rain who turn in polar re-workings of 'The Surface Of Last Scattering'. The monstrous
'Galactic Motion' also gets treated to a Black Rain overhaul, true to the group's seminal post industrial and punk lineage.

Sleeparchive and O/H—the union of David Foster of Huren and Teste, and Orphx's Richard Oddie—both plump for 'Power Spectrum', one of AnD's typical sledgehammer works. The original near pales in comparison to what the pair deliver here. Finally the multifaceted Justin Broadrick of Godflesh, Techno Animal, Pale Sketcher and more turns his heavyweight JK Flesh alias on 'Non Sky Signal Noise' with ruinous effect. If you thought AnD could't get any harder, think again.

Arctor appeared on our radar a year or so ago and stands out with his high-BPM, melodic techno blend. Time and time again he has been surprising us as a producer and DJ with amazingly crafted music. So when we decided to do a vinyl only 'sub'label, we just couldn't think of anyone else to do the debut release.
We hope you will love the three tracks he made and the acid-infused remix by Gynoid Audio's Advanced Human.

Monday Off is a new, vinyl only imprint from Brooklyn founded by Mary Yuzovskaya. Its ethos is to showcase artists from around the world that explore techno's hypnotic side; specifically where trippy and dark productions go deep yet dynamic. The label's inaugural release consists of two spellbinding original tracks from New Jersey-based producer Chanski, and includes a dance floor burning remix from one of Warsaw's premiere rising artists, Michal Wolski. Renowned these days as a producer with a seemingly-unending ability to produce classic-leaning futuristic techno, Volk has built a serious discography over the past 11 years. For his first Token offering, Volk goes above and beyond with the 4-track EP Designing Evolution.

Russian born Anastasia Vtorova is based in Berlin and makes music under the name Machine Woman. Prior to joining the Technicolour ranks, she has released two 12's - via the self-titled imprint of Swedish producer Peder Mannerfelt (2015) and UK label Where To Now (2016) - plus a handful of very limited cassettes via Sacred Tapes (2015), Tesla Tapes and Ono (2014).

Dominick Fenrow's Vatican Shadow returns with a new doublepack for his own Hospital Productions imprint following on from the recent Rubbish Of The Floodwaters 12' for Ostgut Ton.
'Luxor Necropolitics' was once again produced by Joshua Eustis of Telefon Tel Aviv, and the vinyl edition also includes a super rare remix from Female of Sandwell District fame.
Clocking in at almost 40 minutes, this is the most substantial Vatican Shadow release since last year's Media In The Service of Terror LP and further develops Fernow's creative collaboration with Eustis, who provides a much more lean and dynamic sheen to those highly atmospheric foundations.
The opening, title track provides evocative exposition; this is Vatican Shadow at it's most cinematic and unreal; before Intel War jolts with increased propulsion and bass pressure and a killer soundsystem focus deployed with precision and depth.
Crown Prince Hamza is much more squashed and feral, before a new Red Headband version of More Of The Same takes the original into even more anthemic terrain; this is surely the most memorable, enduring and club focused Vatican Shadow track of all
As if to further etch it on your mind, the vinyl edition offers a final exclusive track, a reworking of More of the Same from Female, who takes the original and duffs it up, completely discarding that synth hook and instead intensifying the menace, heading down a sandwell-shaped cave that reminds us again why we have loved pretty much every Female production since we first heard his work almost exactly 20 years ago.

Suction Records is thrilled and honoured to announce the reissue of D'Arcangelo's self-titled debut EP for Rephlex, the legendary UK label run by Aphex Twin and Grant Wilson-Claridge from 1991-2013. D'Arcangelo are the Italian duo of brothers Fabrizio and Marco D'Arcangelo, active in the underground electronic scene under various aliases since the early '90s, and still going strong today. Released in 1996, their Rephlex debut 'D'Arcangelo' was one of the first releases to make a firm connection between contemporary IDM/electronix and the sound of '80s synth pop. The 3 tracks on Side A are ripping, industrial-strength electronix, as fierce, crunchy and menacing anything Aphex Twin himself had released at the time. In sharp contrast, Side B's 3 tracks are playful, clean and melodic instrumental synthpop, with clear synthetic references to bands like Depeche Mode and OMD. It was a sound that was certainly not in fashion at the time, and helped the EP stand out in 1996, for that very reason.

Suction Records was launched in 1997 by Toronto artists Solvent and Lowfish - both producers attended high-school together in the '80s, and both were obsessed with synthesizers and electronic music. The synth pop sound of the '80s was in their blood, but in the '90s, both became absolute converts to the sound of Aphex Twin and other like-minded artists on labels like Warp, Rephlex and Skam. Mandala Trax aka Shingo Suwa and DJ Mori is releasing a first EP on Merkur Schallplatten. Shingo has established the Label in 2008. DJ Mori is working as resident DJ at suicide circus Berlin.
They often performed at many clubs in the city.
Their first collaboration includes two different versions of rave influenced techno remixes by Anna Bolena.
Anna is Music producer, Promoter and Video maker, she is an underground activist since the 80`s. She runs the label Idroscalo Dischi since 1999 and since 2005 the Video Production Company Idroscalo Digitale. They both are working as resident for Button's party at ://about blank.
A1, their very first track, is called 11pm. The main solid synth line features deep kick drums surrounded by dubby industrial effects in the background. On A2 we find a heavy bottom groove, surrounded by echoes in a dark atmosphere. Hand claps and white noises are driving any techno floor.
The B Side includes two different version by Anna Bolena. She produced some 90's rave structures affected by her experimental senses.

Cross out the all seeing eye and ears will open onto questions tracing the lithic grooves of an anachronic industrial. Why the Eye's paleo-futurism suggests a mode of Rock in Opposition displaced into alternative timelines. It is as if the Leg End of Henry Cow has escaped its retro-avant 'chamber music' fetters, toward the hypnotic patterns of dance floor exuberance. These rituals exhume unidentified audio relics from a future yet to be within a deep past that will have been. Each track on Why the Eye's debut leads into an exploration of an entranced dreamscape that would be mislabeled as an 'interlude'. Instead, Why the Eye weave numerological significance into their myth: the energetic, odd-numbered tracks are counterbalanced by the mesmeric reveries of the even-numbered tracks. Using for their titles, these unpronounceable names express the unconscious catacombs of their invisible sonic worlds. Why the Eye uses an array of handmade instruments, each featured on the album's insert: hurgy, papillon, radiocaphone, castabignettes, drumkit, and the various sizes of lamellos. These hybrid tools give an elemental presence to their lithic grooves and a uniqueness to their spectral techno. The album's opener, 'Dombo', could equally be heard as the audio parallel to the 'pataphysical Museum of Jurassic Technology as much as the reopening of the Bay-area's Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. The heavy hypnosis of 'Plastique' sets the machine churning, with its breakbeat skit closing side A. The nouveau post-rock of 'Free Gluten' continues the meditation to side B, as 'Papillon' Afro-punk invites us back to dance. 'Bragitto' lightens up the energetic weight and its dream closes the album with murmurs suitable for any ambience. If music will have been made to announce the retrieval of lost futures, the initiation of Why the Eye might be said to have incepted some of its timbres. LP + insert + download voucher.

The first release on Youth - a new label from Andrew Lyster, comes from Portland based artist Yard. Hailing from the dark woods of the West Coast of the United States, Yard brings together a collection of tracks from the archives alongside some new material. Canopy and White Fog were originally released on the album Deciduous Flood Plains, and have been reworked for this release. Marshall Acid is pressed to vinyl for the first time having previously only been available digitally via Event Horizon. Yard's gritty sound evokes a spectrum of gnarled city life to organic atmospheres. The release comprises of field recordings, micro-cassette mangles, bass kicks, a live jam between x0xb0x and a modded tr-606 and water drops percolating through the mixes to get that urban hum and grit running up against the forest.

While following a normal catalog order, the Live Series is a parallel line of releases that will bring to fruition more acoustic-electronic crossbreeds as well as other sonic experiments, each release will also benefit from an one-of -a-kind type of artwork.

Lo Kindre is Luxembourg-born and raised Irishman Daniel Magee's personal dub interpretation, the result of a year of On U indulgence and Tuff Dub encounters, and time spent honing a live show across venues in Glasgow.
Debut EP 'Plant Up' presents a cosmic blend of swirling synth and low-slung bass offering Magee's own version of dub to the public for the very first time.

An album by Roman Flügel is always a sensation. That holds true for his countless monikers and collaborations as it does for his 2011 Dial debut Fatty Folders. Being the first of its kind under his civic name, the long over-due association of Hamburg's cerebral label and its group of off-centre house and techno individuals with Frankfurt's favorite electronic music producer for the thinking man and woman, proved to be a seminal one.

Now, that sort of Happiness Is Happening again. Roman Flügel's follow up on Dial takes off, where Fatty Folders landed: on a runway that acknowledges the roots of house and techno as well as its fruits, but leads to a different location. Exempt from the burden that a concept album can lay on its author, Flügel seems not to be concerned with the current trends, retro fashion or a pre-conceived topic. Free-wheeling and with a freshness akin to morning dew, he rather takes us by the hand and through ten tracks that sometimes feel like songs without a voice.

Having said that, the strongest point of Happiness Is Happening is that it has a voice. The voice of a maker who is not afraid to mix joy and pain, ambient textures with remnants dance floor euphoria, quiet spaces and loud places. So you have an almost Depeche-Mode-like ballad that the "Friendship Song" is, next to the techno city ghost story of "Occult Levitation". Slow-motion robot disco ("Wilkie") appears as much at home here as the bulky "Stuffy" or the sudden impact in "We Have A Nice Life". That list goes on and on. The most startling fact about Roman Flügel's tour de force is that its sum is as great as its parts. Nothing feels superfluous, ill-paced or forced here. Its a condensate of a life that has been spent in techno, house and its various mutations and archetypes with a sensibility for pop music, a consciousness of indie culture and an affinity for the avant-garde as such.

Happiness Is Happening is like a concept album without a concept. A testament to the fact that the concept of an album that works within the realms and boundaries of "electronic (dance) music" can be so much more than a loose collection of 12-inches or just an exercise in style: it can be, after all, a piece of art and at its best comparable to a successful singer-songwriter album without words. Especially, when the creator of all his seems to be truly comfortable with himself and at his best. Then, Happiness Is Happening, indeed. GERD JANSON

From a sporadic late-nineties outlet for the work of label founder David Sumner aka Function and his contemporaries, Infrastructure has re-emerged in the last two years as a busy and consistent platform for modern electronic music. Re-launching with a collaboration between Sumner and long-time colleague Ed Davenport aka Inland, the pair released Function/Inland's ambient techno EP 'Odeon / Rhyl' as INF-012 in May of 2014, marking a new wave of material on the label which had been dormant since Sumner's first material on Sandwell District emerged in 2007.
In the two years following the pair have orchestrated 10 vinyl releases, including a debut album by Techno anonym Post Scriptum, two singles from young avant-garde composer Campbell Irvine, a double pack reissue of classic acid pioneer-tracks from Mark Archer's Trackman guise, a crossover single by Cassegrain & Tin Man, and more. Both Post Scriptum and Campbell Irvine released their debut material on Infrastructure, discovering and promoting new raw talent is high on the agenda.
Now Infrastructure introduces it's next milestone - Facticity. A 4 x 12'' vinyl box set, CD and digital format compilation featuring 15 tracks by key artists, label colleagues and new faces. Facticity represents the foundations of what Infrastructure stands for - a manifesto for 2016 and beyond.
Function, Inland, Function/Inland, Campbell Irvine, Post Scriptum, Cassegrain & Tin Man, Rrose, Efdemin, Vatican Shadow, Silent Servant, Blue Hour, Steve Bicknell and Cleric all feature, spinning a narrative ranging from lush, ambient electronics and post-club diversions, to contemporary club techno and back again.
Infrastructure regularly works with up-and-coming artists on cover artwork. Respected young Swiss artist Julian Charrière provided the iconic greyscale cover for Post Scriptum's debut LP (INF-020), and London based photographer Guy Archard's work featured on Campbell Irvine's 'Reunion of Two Bodies' Maxi-EP (INF-018).
Now the celebrated British fine-artist Robert NcNally has been invited to submit original artwork for Facticity. Selected by Jake and Dinos Chapman to show work at the prestigious Flowers Gallery in London, and commissioned by Damien Hurst to provide work for his private collection, Robert's incredibly detailed large scale pencil drawings are attracting serious interest in the modern art world.
McNally's cover image was selected from a series of works based on adapted antique post cards. Its anti-establishment, censorship-related overtones are clear to see, as is the stark use of contrast - thick layers obscure the fading original, re-appropriating it. Setting the tone for this carefully compiled collection of new music, rich in subtexts and sub-genres, a special edition print of the cover artwork will be included in the first 500 copies of Facticity.

Amassing almost a dozen EPs and an impressive album debut all within three years, the production powerhouse that is Jordon Saxton finally hits home on Figure. While developing various sonic identities at once, his first outing for the label as Viers is a strictly no-nonsense techno affair. This already becomes apparent on Lain, which carefully navigates with sonar bleeps and scanner sweeps through of nebula richly detailed textures. Infornography is muffled in thick murk, its metallic synths unceasingly chipping away at rocks of rumbling bass. On the flip Viers changes his game yet again, crafting a beautifully fluorescent and dubbed out loop, making RE-L pulse just as gently as it is booming. Finally Protocol's militant groove closes things out on a tough note. Hammering kicks and cleverly twisted tribal percussion make this one a nasty surprise to drop during peak time. No matter what distinct mood or moment Viers is trying his hand at, across this EP he effortlessly nails them all. You will be hard-pressed to find the variety and inventiveness of modern british techno expressed more aptly anywhere else than here.

Continuously reimagining his sound and style, the Grammy-winning artist Sharam digs deep into his bag of production tricks for his new project Collecti, drawing heavily from the darker influences of techno. The album is comprised of a host of new material that he has been field testing with incredible response. Delsin's re-issue arm is back with a timely release of classic Norken material. Featuring on the EP is the cult 'Southern Soul' - originally released on REEL Discs in 1998 - plus 'More Frequencies' and 'Shifting Towards', two tracks from his 1999 album 'Soul Static Bureau'. Norken, of course, is Lee Norris, best known as Metamatics and a producer with a fine discography that takes in proper deep house, sleek minimal and atmospheric dub.

Shlomo opens the EP with a deep and droning, yet uptempo track. Ben Gibson continues on the A-side with a synth and tom-driven track, in which the main synth really draws you into the track. Takaaki Itoh is put on the B1 spot and continues the deep vibe the artists set on the A-side, yet in a more minimalistic way. His track keeps on evolving and growing ever more, while the track in it's core does not change that much. Overall Severity closes the EP off with a moody banger. This dance floor oriented track focuses on percussive elements and the drums a lot. This track is one of the last ones made by the late Max_M, who formed Overall Severity together with Wrong Asessment, which makes this EP a little bit more special. Four different artists, but a great sounding EP with four tracks that compliment each other really well!

Spencer Parker returns to Radio Slave's Rekids imprint for two stripped back cuts in the second instalment of 'No More Silly Club Songs' this February.
The Work Them Records founder and Rekids regular dropped the first four track package last summer, which was a series of tools produced with Parker's own DJ sets in mind. Vol.2 initiates with robust kicks and shuffling hats in 'Silly Club Song No.5' whilst charismatic chords operate amongst drum rolls and a vocal crying out 'dance'. On the other hand, 'No.6' follows a similar muscular aesthetic yet incorporates a 'Reese' inspired bassline as percussive elements rattle throughout. Vesa-Matti is a member of the Meltdown Deejays collective that was founded in his hometown Vaasa back in 1993.

Meltdown is now releasing the Miller Street Sessions Ep containing five of Vesa-Matti's tracks. These sounds originated in his previous studio, located in an old brick building on Miller Street. The late night sessions in a building that mostly hosted rock bands resulted in several hours of recorded drum patterns, loops and synth lines creating a fascinating fusion of Nordic-flavoured dub esthetics and twisted sound manipulations. DDS prise another absolute gem from Japan's Shinichi Atobe, presenting 6-tracks of original,
previously unreleased material recorded some time in the last 20 years in Saitama, Japan which perfectly complements the sublime ambient house zen of his Butterfly Effect album.
The reclusive artist has seen a lot of justified, and somewhat overdue, praise surrounding the reissue of his sole early release, the Ship Scope 12' which was originally issued by Berlin's Chain Reaction, label in 2001, whilst the dispatch of his distinguished and subtly diverse Butterfly Effect LP arguably came as a surprise for many heads who had him pegged out solely as a dub house producer.
His new World EP will expand those preconceptions again, coursing a beautifully louche and debonaire vibe from the most minimal loops and motifs - the kind that one could play all day and would hardly ever tire of hearing them.

Simbad (aka SMBD) is a stalwart of the underground music scene in UK and because of his vast arrays of releases it's very hard to put him into any box or music category. KEY Vinyl don their scouting caps once again for another split EP featuring fledgling and debuting talents. First up is The Plant Worker. This French DJ and producer isn't exactly new to the game, but as The Plant Worker he's been slowly journeying down harder, rawer trajectories—as the name may suggest. After last Autumn's 'Knowledge EP', Héctor Oaks returns to KEY Vinyl with four more solid dancefloor fillers of the kind we're starting to expect from the Berlin-based upstart. Having already released wonderful records on Galdoors, Greta Cottage and UntilMyHeartStops, Duckett's latest fits in perfectly amongst Wisdom Teeth's backcat - his malfunctioning rhythms and spoon-bent melodies occupying that sweet spot between order and chaos that the label has always done its best to occupy. More so than ever, Gannets For Guano sees Duckett exploring far-out territories. The melodies are psychedelic, the rhythms are disjointed and swinging - but always keeping just the right side of chaotic. Even at its most eccentric, the EP rolls with the functionality of techno, and boasts buckets of soul on account of Duckett's truly singular knack for melody. After 20 years as a dj and several releases on labels just like Anthony Rother´s Datapunk, Dave Clarke´s Whitenoise or co-labs with Gez Varley from LFO, Frank Kusserow took a longer break from the active electronic music scene. In the meantime he produced tons of new tracks that result in his new and vinyl only imprint Sprow Recordings. The name Sprow comes from his career as a BMX professional in the early 80´s and the logo of the label was created in that time also. Herewith he fulfills his long term dream to start a record label, where he only decides about the musical output. The labels philosophy is to always feature different styles on each release, from straight Techno to Acid, Dub, Detroit and more electro influenced or melodic stuff.

The first release "Mind the Acid EP" includes 3 tracks. "Mind the Acid" on the A-Side is a straight forward and epic acid stomper. "Altered States" on B1 is a hypnotic, more melodic piece of techno and "Dub Reason Pt.1" closes the EP with more dubby and quiet vibes. Stay tuned for more releases coming soon on Sprow Recordings.

Suction Records is excited to unleash the 3rd vinyl EP in our series of archival releases by a RX-101 aka Dutch producer Erik Jong, who recorded hundreds of AFX / Rephlex-inspired tracks from 1997 to 1999, which remained unreleased until now. Continuing with our Roland SH-101 themed artwork, RX-101's EP3' pairs the 101 with it's acidic little brother, the infamous TB-303. There's been a lot of renewed interest and hype surrounding the revival of acid techno in recent years, but RX-101's acid offerings are not the slow 'n slinky variety favoured by most of today's acid revivalists.... Instead, EP 3' contains 6 tracks of crunchy, blown out, high-octane rave acid... Long-time AFX/Rephlex fans will recognize the sound immediately - the 6 tracks found on EP 3 are eerily reminiscent of those sought-after Rephlex classics, the Universal Indicator series of 12's - released anonymously by Aphex Twin and his Kosmic Kommando on Rephlex from 1992-1995..

N.O.I.A. Records is proud to announce the arrival of an eight track album from Italian pair TenGrams entitled Outerspace Blues. TenGrams are brothers Alessandro and Davide Piatto, who collectively have a deep and long understanding of dance music. Davide runs the N.O.I.A. label and was one of Italy's first touring electronic live acts, performing and recording with drum machines and synthesizers as early as 1978 as part of seminal Italo outfit Klein + M.B.O. Since then they have released under an array of aliases, have clocked up numerous club hits and this new project brings them right back to their electronic roots.
Recorded and mixed between the end of 2015 and summer 2016, vintage synths, drum machines and samplers and no rules or music trends went into the writing process here, and the result is a work that is influenced by sci-fi movies and electronic music from krautrock to techno. The title reflects a certain sadness and nostalgia and the whole thing unfolds perfectly.
Kicking off with the crisp electro bumps of the title track, the cosmic feels continue through Electric Happiness, with its bobbling bass and smeared widescreen pads. Please, Wash My Brain Again then resets the mood with a deep and ambient piece that has glassy keys and modulated synths subtly moved along by gentle bass pulses. The dreamy Cosmic Goodbye continues you on your journey though space, then the fantastic Triffids Love is another zoned out and ambient number with coarse clasp, sonar blips and sombre chords all soothing mind and soul. After the cavernous synth sweeps of the downbeat roller Dont Do Drugs, excellently gurgling synth sounds are joined by simple but effective kicks on Everyone Is Worth Saving and closing bonus cut Soular comes on strong with lo-fi percussive patterns, stiff drums and an old school house feel that rounds things out in style. As far as fully realised albums of spaced out analogue house goes, there will be few better than this in 2017.

Ambassador of dark, driving techno Nicole Moudaber, has teamed up with Skin, the multi-talented Skunk Anansie front-woman, established DJ and fashion icon, for a collaborative EP entitled 'Breed'. Two legendary artists in their own right, Moudaber and Skin have brought together cutting-edge creative and visual aesthetics to ensure Breed is an assault on the senses. The exceptional song writing and performance abilities of Skin married with Moudaber's production finesse both point to Breed being one of the most celebrated conceptual projects in techno. 'Breed' is dropping on September 18th and is available exclusively on Beatport for two weeks via Nicole's own imprint MOOD records.

On lead single 'Someone Like You', which will be released as a double single alongside 'You Like This' on August 31st, the pair immediately display the production and performance talents they're renowned for. Skin's inimitable vocals sit perfectly over Nicole's trademark dark and brooding techno beats. Demonstrating their versatility 'These Walls Are Made Of Water' is a stripped back affair, with a crescendo of strings leading to a slinky bottom heavy groove complimented by Skin's lyrical diversity. The stabbing synths of 'You Like This' create a thunderous peak time dub, and 'Don't Talk To Me' sees Nicole and Skin enlisting Zebra Katz for a cut that showcases hard nosed, fluid techno at it's best. Pushing the genre forward throughout, the bass and synth heavy roller that is 'Organic Love', allows Nicole and Skin to perfectly encapsulate the future of techno.

Having collaborated with the top producers in the scene, Adam Beyer, Victor Calderone, Danny Tenaglia and mentor Carl Cox to name but a few, whilst at the same time enjoying success with a number 1 on the Beatport Techno Chart and 7 million listeners across 45 countries for In the MOOD Radio, it's clear Nicole Moudaber is at the forefront of the scene. Over a year in the making, 'Breed' is spearheading a new brand of innovative, pioneering techno. With visionaries Nicole and Skin at the helm the project is blazing a trail for the future of contemporary dance music.

The pair will also be showcasing the collaboration in a series of special live shows, with the first taking place at Space Ibiza on August 25th. Nicole and Skin will be playing an exclusive three hour set on the terrace, in a show that is not to be missed.

Wake Up! 009 catches Steevio in a lonesome mood. Over three tracks the Freerotation co-founder cruises through weightless negative space, sketching out contours against a backdrop of deep shadows and warm, melancholic pads. Machlud' opens like a mission statement, sorrowful and barely-there, before moving to the more nervous lounging of Forgotten Futures.' On the b-side Green Therapy' picks up the pace, bouncing with a lightly kinetic swing. Luis' remix wrings some raw pathos from the original's immaculate depths. Yet it remains of a piece with the source material, rounding out an EP of heady, ephemeral moments.

For nearly a decade, Raíz and Subversive have distributed their vision of dance music on various labels including Historia y Violencia, Electric Deluxe, Construct Reform, Droid Recordings and their own imprint, VRV. Three years into the VRV project, the label heads have decided it is time to expand the roster and showcase artists on a similar plane, producers they know can speak to the sound. Before Voiski's well-deserved attention from work on Dement3d, L.I.E.S., and Delsin, he and Subversive had a chance meeting in the bars of Paris in search of the same musical ideals. As they formed a lasting bond, it was a natural choice for Voiski to be tapped on the shoulder for remix duties on Subversive's 'Chainbreaker.' This epic take on the original showcases the similar musical visions that can be shared across oceans, where the music's place of origin is less important than the destination it delivers.Santiago Salazar brings his Latin/Midwest sound that's been found on labels such as UR, Rush Hour, H&V, and Ican. The Underground Resistance veteran invokes Detroit-inspired pads and dubby chords that speak techno's language of the future.DJ Hyperactive is a Chicago acid legend who found himself reinvigorated in the 2000s to take up the DJ/producer torch in conjunction with the Droid crew. His early support of the original 'Telomere' made him the perfect candidate for this remix, which tracks a straight forward, bass-grounded groove, met with the producer's own subtle swing sensibilities.

A staple album since its release in 1998, 'Heavenly' is as relevant today as it was twenty years ago. It turned heads everywhere, got the underground scene buzzing and set dance floors ablaze like an accomplished pyromaniac. Now, the album is back for another round of Techno-flavored goodness.
Revisited, tweaked and rearranged by Kevin Saunderson under his E-Dancer moniker, the album not only comes with additional material in addition to the 1998 originals, but is also poised to fuel a number of exclusive E-Dancer live shows. A collection of songs sure to keep the dance floor ablaze for decades, 'Heavenly' (Revisited) is set to make history once more.

Renegade ravers, Koehler and StabUdown Productions - a new alias of James Donadio (Prostitutes) - get loose and chaotic in a deadly stand-off for Diagonal, firing four barrels of belligerent electronic shrapnel and sawn-off techno following a slew of crushing solo 12"s spread around the wrongest rave houses over the last five years.
On Jim v Dan they offer a sort of snarky peer review of each other's tackle, with each producer offering an original cut to be sniffed, prodded and mauled by the other in an itchy, virulent process of rugged refinement. While it may be hard to tell who takes the points after four rounds, either way the rave comes out on top.
In round 1, Koehler makes the first move with Incoming Enemy, doling out a rictus tattoo of rail-gunning 'ardcore breaks and bleeps that bite down with the curled-lip attitude you'd expect from indulging any of his ramrods on Berceuse Heroique and Skudge White. In response, StabUdown's Jim Donadio gives back a sort of 2-stepped industrial shoulder barger nagged with gnashing breaks and dub-churned bass from the Valve playbook.
For round 2, Jimlad takes the first slap with a mighty twist of dancehall techno recalling the sick mutations of Demdike Stare's Wonderland LP, harnessing hardbody groove with sticky, stinging
electronics for one of the deadliest shots in his armoury, which Koehler duly hypnotises with a sort of drunken snakestyle inversion, diffusing its reticulated energy into a spaced-out reel of
bleeps and Uchronic AI techno - think B12 meets Orphan Drift.

Mandingo is best known as Detroit producer Monty Luke, the founder of Black Catalogue whennot appearing on labels like Planet E and Dogmatik. Echoing synths and crunchy percussion join trippy nuances and effects in Melchior's otherworldly reinterpretation. Meanwhile on the flip, Larry Heard distorts the original into a mesmerising number featuring a meandering hook and intricate melodies.
