Pi Gao Movement presents their first and long awaited release of the HAdES (Humanoid Advanced Engineering Society ) Network concept on vinyl. After 10 years of deep hibernation, Southern Outpost's sub-label, Datadisk, brings the first in a series of 'System Updates' (think Direct Beat style bonus beats). Southern Outpost label boss, The Sentinel has compiled 9 byte-sized electro tracks/tools programmed specifically for DJ's who like to throw down. The updates were developed by 3 programmers, from opposite ends of the planet. The Sentinel (Southern Outpost/Datadisk), Sol37 (Southern Outpost) both Australian ex-pats now based in San Francisco and Drox (Analog Cabin) based in Sydney, Australia. The tracks are on average 2 mins long, which mean they get straight to the point and are ready to deploy at a moments notice. For the advanced DJ, utilizing 2 copies will offer the opportunity to extend and remix the updates 24,310 ways. The release was mastered at Dubplates & Mastering and pressed at R.A.N.D to ensure the release is at the highest sonic quality

DJ Sotofett's double 7" album "Noldus" is a peculiar twist and travel. During 13 tracks & 27 min. it's compact and generous, short yet long, with a playback format that doesn't invite space of attentiveness to be left. Featuring Jaakko Eino Kalevi on drums, Tuomas Toivonen on synth & DJ Sotofett on vocals its recorded in a Helsinki Sauna, on a Swiss train and in Narrabeen Australia. The narration and music is beautiful, frenetic, with synthetic and organic elements battling as the King of Leftfield against sonic mice stuck in between two realities.

DJ Nobu takes Follakzoid's 'IIII' in a new direction. The Chilean band Follakzoid released their latest album via Sacred Bones last year. The Bitta label boss turns around the final track twice, adding his deep techno hypnotism creating two powerful remakes. "When I heard Follakzoid's music for the first time, I felt like what we are trying to express are fundamentally similar. In other words, I felt like we are both trying to reach the same destination. And one day we met each other in the forest. Domingae and I discovered that we share the same love for Cortozar. The encounter between Follakzoid and myself is a game designed by the universe. Therefore our collaboration was a destiny, but it also imposed me the most difficult challenges I faced in my music life. I'm extremely relieved and grateful to be able to present the result as a piece of work here."

Three heavyweights are featured on the next installment of the Truncate remix series. Heiko Laux revisits the Truncate classic 'Dial' with his deep, stripped down rendition. Ray Kajioka remits his interpretation of 'Wave 1' with his deep, melodic touch. Lastly, Steve Rachmad aka Sterac delivers his touch to two remixes of the track '30' - one stripped version as Sterac alongside one electro version as Sterac Electronics. Techno tools for everyone.

2018 Konduku took everyone by surprise with his debut called Kiran. It doesn't happen all too often a new artist emerges with such a developed and distinctive sound, delivering an album as debut. A muscular tribute to the analogue innovation and body music of the 1980s. Incorporating myriad hints of new wave, soft industrial and proto-acid, Luca Duran once again demonstrates his ability to take the sounds that have influenced his work and spin their heritage into a sincere, playful and most importantly, fresh release. A worthy follow up on his recent Clone Royal Oak release on his own Akoya Circles imprint! The record opens with the punchy 'Body Mechanics', a purely physical jam loaded with vampish synths and pounding drums, offset with a loved-up vocal sample. 'Romancia Negativa' was recorded while in Bogota in late 2018, and is informed by the experimentation and abandon of DIY songwriting and band culture, while maintaining it's foot on the dancefloor. Luca Duran's razor-sharp nous for a groove is immediately reestablished on the flip with the patient, acidic 'Life Wires', a deceptively complex analogue jam that bubbles with analogue energy and left field details. The EP concludes with 'Circunavalar', an ethereal blend of Luca Duran's sublime oscillations that leads listeners and dancers gently to a conclusion to a spacious heaven of meditative bass weight. Daft Punk's 'ALIVE 2007' set, which won 2 Grammy Awards in 2009 (Best Electronic Album and Best Electronic Single categories) and was previously only available on CD and digital, will be released for the first time as a double vinyl with a triple gatefold sleeve.

Derived from their live performance at Bercy on 14 June 2007, this album was originally published the same year on November 19th. Through this amazing live experience, Daft Punk manipulated and reworked their established material, transposing and deconstructing the structures of their studio tracks.

A limited edition of 'ALIVE 2007' will be released at the same time, in a special box including the album on 2 solid white vinyls, plus a vinyl bonus (Side A: the show's encore (human after all / together / one more time (reprise) / music sounds better with you) /Side B : 'ALIVE 2007' pyramid logo etched), a 52 pages book (pictures taken during the shows), a slipmat and a download card.

'ALIVE 1997' is also being reissued separately. Recorded in 1997 in Birmingham during their first European tour, a few months after the release of 'Homework', this first live testimony was released in 2001. 45 minutes of non-stop live mixing, featuring the band's first standard tracks (Da Funk, Rollin' & Scratchin'...) along with those techno-electronic explosions unique to Daft Punk!

A trio of guitar, bass and drums, Elektro Guzzi overcome the boundary between analogue versus digital, performing techno live with the drive of a machine and the sonic detail of an instrument - without any computers or loopers. For their upcoming album Polybrass, Elektro Guzzi have drastically expanded their sonic repertoire: both in the studio and on stage, they are joined by an ensemble of three trombonists, opening up a whole new realm of possibilities. With Hilary Jeffrey, Daniel Riegler and Martin Ptak, the band are joined by three brass heavyweights, each of them well renowned for both their solo ventures as well as projects such as The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, Sand and Zeitkratzer. By treating the three trombones not simply as a set of extra instruments but rather as one coherent body of sound on its own, Elektro Guzzi dissociate the brass instruments from their conventional use and repurpose them into something completely different: a modular synthesizer, with each trombone representing one oscillator. In doing so, Elektro Guzzi add new layers of depth to their music, emphasizing a more cinematic side of their music: like the soundtrack for a movie, Polybrass is bigger, darker, more dramatic, more intimate. Warm and fuzzy textures float weightlessly above fragile soundscapes and complex sonic fragments. At the same time, the band's signature sound runs distinctly through the entire album: solid percussive grooves, stripped down to the absolute minimum it takes to make your body move. Hypnotic repetition, building tension and suspense up to a point where the energy of the music gets so intense you feel like you can physically touch it with your hands, interlaced with organic patterns of sound, constantly changing and evolving, pulsating and oscillating. ZEIT007 by Thee J Johanz features some real nice variety.

Too Smooth Christ returns to Supergenius Records and widens his singular approach to introspective dance music to new musical horizons. 'Infinite Fall DMZ' is a slow house jam built around a hypnotic and endless FM pattern and a strong chorus bass, emphasized by a myriad of shiny bittersweet 101 sparks. 'PHEQS125', originally made for TSC current live act, triggered such keen reactions in clubs that we decided to cut it down. It's an acidish banger, elaborated around a 303 pattern, a rave detuned bassline and a b-more breakbeat, tickled by synthetic voices. With its rainforest chords and melodies and its muffled breakbeat, the eponymous track 'With You In mind' is a love declaration between balearic house and old-school Jungle / IDM. 'Etoile' closes the EP with its UK bass vibe, a combination of tribal drum patterns and a grime beat and narrative bassline which will attract you in some mysterious caverns where the magic monsters hide.

Berlin producer Troy Gunner marks a new step in an ascendant career with the introduction of his very own imprint. Simply titled 'GUNNER', this project will be predominantly vinyl-focused and will act as a platform for his own productions as well selected peers. It kicks off with 3 of his own tracks - all of which carrying a chilly quality whilst bearing Troy's distinctive blend of stiff drums, heady atmospheres and muscular low end.

London via NYC Chupacabras has been making a name for himself through the years as a pillar of the underground. The story starts in Barcelona during the early-2000s DJing and becoming a resident at the famed Nitza Club, it's here Chupacabras came into contact with the likes of I-F, Legowelt, and Marco Passarani among others thus immersing himself in the sounds of Hague electro, Chicago House, Italo, and Detroit Techno. An integral part of the early L.I.E.S. Records crew we are pleased to release his latest ep, a four track Hague influenced affair. For the second installment in their 12' series Music From Memory present two deeply forward thinking electronic tracks from British musician Michal Turtle made between 1983-4.
The first track 'Are you Psychic' is taken from Turtle's obscure 'Music From The Living Room' album which Michal recorded literally in the living room of his family's South London house at the young age of 22.

Over-running his parents' front room with various synthesizers, amps and instruments, and setting up a portable four track studio the 'Music From The Living Room' tracks were built around live jams that took place alone or sometimes with musicians he would invite to play alongside him. Whilst seemingly sample based the instruments were played live and any voices or sound effects were actually recorded directly to tape, or put onto tiny 2.5 second cassette loops.

'Astral Decoy' was made in the year following the release of his only solo LP and forms part of a series of unreleased tracks that reflect a growing interest in combining electronics with more analogue elements such as Xylophone and live percussion. At the same timce this track draws inspiration from the sound of electro and boogie which Michal had become greatly interested in at the time, and in particular the work of musicians such as Grandmaster Flash.

With access to the archives of the many recordings made at his family home, this 12' serves as an introduction to a wider compilation of Michal Turtles works which is to follow on Music From Memory.
