Mike Dehnert follows up on his previous 2 Clone Basement releases! After just releasing his debut album we have a selection of 4 tracks, that shows another side of Mike. Four tracks that reveal the more challenging side with some forward thinking techno tracks. Slightly slower paced as some of his recent works, and with only 1 out of 4 tracks having a straight kick in the complete track, he is placing emphasis on the rolling machine groove and the flow coming from sounds and effects. Very industrial and how controversial, very smooth aswell. Time will tell, but this could easily be his biggest accomplishment to date!

Together with Bob Sinclar, they created an explosive mixture of deep Afro-influenced club music that took the underground scene by storm on their co-owned Yellow Productions label. It helped launch the careers of Dimitri From Paris, Salome de Bahia, Africanism (Martin Solveig) and of course Sinclar himself. It was a founding stone of the French house sound.

Since going their separate ways, Alain Ho has moved seamlessly through the underground setting up his own Poussez label that forged a new path through bristling deep techno - an approach that foreshadowed the successes in the genre in subsequent years for artists such as Ame. Lately his new vehicle, Composite Records, has provided a platform for his own Mindz Kontrol project and artists such as King Britt, Varoslav and Daniel Kyo. He has also recorded recently for Ovum and Freerange.

'Patterns' brought euphoria to a dark dub/2-step sound and has been rinsed by forward-looking selectors like Untold, Starkey & Mumdance - and played on the world's smarter radio stations, Rinse FM, Sub FM, Subjam & Fevah.New track 'Last Time' is a slab of reverse-engineered, 2011 house music. A stepping woodblock rhythm pins down plaintive vocals as a spooked synth line controls the release. In any one else's hands that would add up to dark vibes, but Gerry crafts it to deliver bittersweet euphoria of the best kind.
