Fantasy Life boss Alinka readies ‘Universal Motion EP’ for Radio Slave’s Rekids this June.

Previously appearing on the likes of Permanent Vacation, Classic, NeedWant and Crosstown Rebels, the Ukraine-born, Chicago-raised and Berlin-based Alinka treats Radio Slave’s Rekids imprint to her ‘Universal Motion EP’, delivering four party-starters for her first release on the label.

A1’s ‘Universal Motion’, a driving synth-led number, strongly sets the tone by bringing thick Italo inspired leads and warping synths together to maximum effect. Moving into the second track, the bouncing ‘Emotion 2 Emotion’ intertwines floating pads and loose, bounding drums for a fun and highly playable track.

On the flip, ‘Round Round’ is a funky yet stripped-back affair, utilising raucous percussion, well placed vocal hits and pulsating basslines to create an irresistible groove. Taking the final spot on the 12”, ‘Reality Love’ sees Alinka draw for stuttering bass, classic samples and dense synths for an excellent closer to the EP.

Alinka’s rep as a DJ and producer has continued apace in the past few years with some of her biggest fans being the most notable names in the world of house, disco and techno and ‘Universal Motion’ shows her at her best.

To 'repeat' is to do something again. That's exactly what happened on this record. A well known, yet anonymous artist from Rotterdam delivers yet again four raw and repetitive techno cuts.

A little more than 2 years ago, labelhead honchos Paul & Dave released their "Nobody is Anywhere EP" on their own imprint Dynamic Reflection. It was a statement about the status quo in the techno scene back then, where many artists didn't know which way to go. Ironically enough, the contrary is very true as we speak.

The "Anybody is Nowhere EP" responds to their previous work and reflects the uncomfortable time we are currently living in, driven by uncertainty. Even though these are not the happiest thoughts, the track titles show that there is hope left. "Emergence" is a very seductive but psychedelic trip towards "Discharge", which feels like Abstract Division discharges themselves completely. The last track, "Polarise" points out the current divided society, which sets some doubtful thoughts about the future.

Scandinavian rebel and Northern Electronics patron Anthony Linell provides his interpretation of the track "Emergence" and delivers a distinctive remix as only he can.

Five smudgy smacktrax straight from the sewers of The Hague. Rural style midnight cowboys acid punch. Filled with trippy sounds and distorted drums for distorted nights. From peaktime acid till dark ambient, it's all there. So take a deep breath, activate your dirty brain and join the The Hague partytrain.

With sincere pride, Warning presents the debut EP of emerging artist JCow.

Magma, a manic rollercoaster, opens the A side and is accompanied by Purity of Spirit, an uplifting basement Rave anthem. On the flip things get a bit more twisted with Groove Ryder, a melange of funky Breakz and Trance with a fat hit of Organic Groove. The Acid Fiend Mix of Rave Patrol completes this record with an over the top composition of drums and JCow’s wild Guitar play.

Gazing at the stars is looking at the past. The galaxies send you messages from thousands of light years away. That overwhelming feeling is present on Free Andromeda by Timothy J. Fairplay. An album grounded on earth while floating through eternity with a loose connection to the Milky way.

This nine-track record is, as always with T J. F. a delicately balanced mix between dark and light, analogue and digital, vast space and tight basements. With an impressing collection of premium synthesisers and drum machines, TJF showcases some of the most exquisite electronically generated soundscapes heard on this side of 1984. His sound on Free Andromeda can be described as leftfield inspired by various John Carpenter- and Italian horror movie soundtracks together with some West German Kosmische Musik.

Thimothy J. Fairplay, somewhat of a veteran on the label, makes deep and warm electronic music celebrating underground sounds from the last five decades. This album is no exception. For all you introverts dreaming of a life in the starshine – here’s Free Andromeda!

With "9 Is A Classic", "Slaves To The Rave", "Pitch-Hiker", "Stereo Murder" and "We Have Arrived", just to name a few, he clearly proves who's the boss. "The Most Famous Unknown" is a well compiled collection of Marc's music, which showcases a mere portion of what he has composed and produced since the early nineties! The vinyl and digital selection of "The Most Famous Unknown" features remixes by Body Sushi a.k.a. VTSS & Randomer, Dasha Rush, Gabber Eleganza feat. Delirio, Jasss, Kilbourne, Minimum Syndicat, Nina Kraviz, Perc, Solid Blake, Stranger, Umwelt and VTSS, which all deliver excellent interpretations of tracks they have chosen to revamp. Halocyan plunge deeper into their 'Originary Technicity' series which has already featured an EP by Hackman backed up by remixers including Timo Maas and KiNK. For their latest offering, the L.A coterie have enlisted the talents of the legendary German duo Extrawelt backed up by championed master of machines Ulrich Schnauss.Having released several EPs through Cocoon as well as 12"s on James Holden's Border Community, Kompass Musik and Traum Schallplatten, Extrawelt have evinced infallible consistency across their back catalogue and have long been regarded an eminent and influential force in the world of experimental Techno.Their contribution to the Originary Technicity series comes in the form of two excursive pieces beginning with 'Breaking Bricks' which sets jutting percussive knocks under a sheet of shimmering hats and pellucid clicks and shuffles. A thick and purposeful bass patterns drives through the mix and propels progress towards a shift into a patch of interwoven melodies that render the sort of saccharine dystopia that fans of Extrawelt will be familiar with.
'Splendid Nausea' then blooms behind nifty sound design and gently flexing pads before a persistent pulse emerges and sets things flickering out of focus. A seasick bass line emerges pushing a dark, plodding mood along until the close before Domino and Pedigree Cuts contributor, Ulrich Schnauss then steps in to bolster the package with his own spectral take on Breaking Bricks. Steadily building a wall of undulating pads propelled by frazzled circuit signals, Schnauss rounds off another addition to the Originary Technicity series which comes as yet another rich and cohesive package from the ever-reliable Halocyan."

First release of 2022 on the label is a solid deep techno split EP by italian artist Hoedus and Japanese Iori.

'Marino first got our attention with a tune called ‚Can't feel' a few years back. We played that track for ages, followed him since then and his music always found a way into our sets. Since we started the Siamese label he was always on the wish list to make a record for us and after his successful debut on the latest ‚Siamese Anthology' EP we can finally reveal a full EP from Marino Canal.' Succession of images, clean memories resurfacing abruptly, not foreseen, not governed by the rational will.

The element of air enlightens fresh harmonies of open spaces, nature in instrumental guise lies down, taking life on irregular, porous rhythmical surfaces.

Old school rave sound from Acid House to UKG and rave sound... Crazy stuff !!

People try to label our music but in the end it's difficult because we look at it from many different angles, we assemble ideas from different musical styles and we open ourselves to extreme levels of each concept, taking it outside the norm, only this way we manage not to be labelled in a specific style of music. We want to take you from starting point A to infinity.

Sweet GOOG bewitchment... Sneaky basslines and little suspense drops... Long side brings more deepness inna furrow... More sound in da ears

The mix features an introduction by Wesley Joseph and exclusive tracks from friends and collaborators Skee Mask, Or:la, Gaunt, Avon Blume and Ehua as well as the playful and energetic new track from Vynehall himself 'Sugar Slip (The Lick)'.

Vynehall effortlessly traverses across genres from spoken word and ambient, to breakbeat, gqom and afro-house.

"The output of fabric's label holds a special place for me. During my teens into early twenties the musical landscape I was exposed to broadened, and my taste diversified greatly; going to shows, making music, and swapping new finds with friends. fabric had a huge part to play in shaping what I heard and was exposed to via their mix & compilation series. The first two I heard were Swayzak's 'fabric 11', and James Murphy & Pat Mahoney's 'FABRICLIVE 36'. Both these CDs helped open the door to a wider palette of sounds. Not only did I delve deeper into the compilations post & prior, but I learned about what I enjoyed when it comes to DJing - dynamics. That was the aim of my entry into the fabric discography. A dynamic mix with a cohesive sonic narrative running through it with the club in mind. I feel incredibly lucky to be putting forward my take on something that helped to shape how I approach what I do when I DJ."

Leon Vynehall will be taking over fabric for a personally curated night of live music and DJs on Friday 8th April 2022.

We are still moving...as well as the music. As we have to deal with new realities in an altered world, the musical expression still has to find a way to the people. That's the mood behind the first Life Recorder ep on Life Notes. Another deep house/techno exploration always connected to the timeless influences through emotive pads, tones and driving rhytmical elements.

Level two of LNS' electroid quest on own imprint. As last 12" there are 6 tracks, generously bridging knocking MPC-style Electro, up-tempo video-worlds and melodic but clubby Techno with blends of dub. A DJ Sotofett remix takes the dubs even further while the bleeped "Lehkist" is an excellently deep manifest of the melodic stance this record carries throughout. To be continued...

Acid techno with 2 long massive cut tracks playing 45 RPM...
Notice the BIG Imperial March ACID interpretation from Lethal One on the flip !

8th from London based “Art Of Dark”. 4 fresh cuts from Jack Keo.

Silvery sharp & bouncy 12". Techno-head E-GZR meets LNS on the A-side for stylistically and precise electro - where a globbing bassline competes with gated snaps, rolling 808-hats and a deep push-and-pull padded lead. B-side solo's E-GZR's perfectly saturated drums & celestial programming of electro-funk melodies and futuristic chords. Unreleased mix & non-album track from LNS & E-GZR's upcomming "Sputters" album on Wania (mid 2019).

Oblivion Dip, a deep-side of the Norwegian techno & experimental corner, outs two versions of dark but fresh tribal-acid-techno cuts on the A-side. The B-side generously presents a very intriguing industrialized metal-saw beauty of an ambient-noise track. Absolutely not obsolete!

We are excited to introduce the Italian new generation DJ and producer Vincenzo Gargiulo aka Lowerzone to Footwork. He created a massive arsenal of outstanding killer tunes all bundled up in “Rave Alert” EP.

Both “Rave Alert” and "Stay Away" are fat kick oriented tracks injected with some acid elements bursting with an insane level of energy. Take just a little breath on “Better Times” and don’t be fooled by the sweet melody as the kick will push you straight ahead again. In addition we’ve invited the talented French Wex 10 to the party who has made a banger remix of “Stay Away”. Let’s Rave!!

Mariiin is a dynamite DJ and obviously has a fantastic ear for groove and what will work on the dance floor but I know from experience that being a great DJ doesn’t always translate into being a great producer. Fortunately, in Mariiin’s case it certainly has and in turn we all get the joy of experiencing these tracks. Wonderful news!

The first remix series on PROLETARIJAT brings together 3 Techno Proletarians! Nihad Tule, Skudge and Stanislav Tolkachev recreated the sound of Sev Dah on this release to push the struggle for resistance further and created the fundament for the future remix series on PROLETARIJAT.
Nihad Tule created a forward-going shaker with the "Marija Bursac" remix while Skugde closed the A side with his dreamy remix of "Lisina" in his style.
On the B side Nihad Tule took again the challenge and reinforced the sounds of "Kozarcanka" into the more mystical vibe. Stanislav Tolkachev rounded up this remix series with a spacey and experimental rework of "Kozarcanka" with new patterns and moods to make this release suitable for every taste! Revolutionary Proletarian working-class stuff!

Tempered, deep and precise from Norwegian/Danish Oblivion Dip with first cut carrying Danish obscure vocals fitting atmospherically and effortlessly well. The "Skeletonmix" targets the pure, rhythmic and spaceous sides of title the track while DJ Sotofett's remix detours electro, cold balearic and harmonising progressions. Absolute finalum with the almost jazzy acidic and speedy but beautiful lightness of "Panning".
