Techno Vinyl New Releases - News

The Drumcode A-Sides compilation is quickly becoming synonymous within the techno world as a go to compilation for the hottest tracks that are deservedly A-side material in their own right. Each specific track has its own unique character that brings an outstanding and electrifying aspect to the compilation that as a whole makes it something extremely special. Mixing both highly experienced and new artists has helped to bring a new dimension to the compilation that makes it such a special array of tracks.

Adam Beyer's Drumcode juggernaut attracts more fans and critical plaudits with each passing year. Holding firm on its future facing ethos, techno's number one label presents a new volume in its acclaimed A-Sides series with 20 prime tracks to signify its 20th anniversary. Such is the volume of quality music Adam Beyer receives throughout the course of the year, releasing all of it would be impossible. Enter the blue chip A-Sides series: a chance for the quality-obsessive label head to issue a collection of outstanding tracks that couldn't fit in their regular EP release schedule. With an eye on future talent, as much as the label's established roster of heavy-hitters, the compilation showcases the full breadth of Drumcode's multifaceted techno sound, equal parts inspiring and functional. Led by the stealth techno funk of 'Nine of You', Beyer's deft collaboration with Mark Reeve, the compilation takes in exciting highlights from big guns such as Alan Fitzpatrick, Dustin Zahn, Bart Skils, Pleasurekraft, Luca Agnelli, Jay Lumen, Kaiserdisco and Gary Beck.
The rich vein of form displayed by emerging techno talent is similarly given prime position. Rising DJ/producer Boxia makes his Drumcode debut, fresh from a well-received warm up set for the crew at the hugely successful Junction 2 festival in London, while the likes of Enrico Sangiuliano, Juan Sanchez, Ian O'Donovan and Timmo also drop fire, establishing their credentials as some of the most promising talent breaking through the ranks in 2016.
Reinforcing the global scope of the label, artists such as The Junkies from Toronto and Layton Giordani from New York, prove techno is winning a place in the heart of the new generation of artists coming out of North America.

Heavy dubby Techno sounds from the PRRUK camp.
Advanced Human brings heavy chord vibes and steady going kickdrums. The FX on this record are well-shaped with an emerging break down and some original edits. Tough yet high class underground dancefloor techno.

Limited edition of 200 vinyls!

Angelina Rose is a Ukrainian producer & DJ from Hanover, Germany who is happy to present her debut release 'Shift EP' on her freshly launched label 'Solid Wood Records'.

The record is equipped with two unapologetic cutz of an exploration between dub techno and a raw dance floor compatible grind.

The classic Aphex Twin album - originally released in 1992. Arguably one of the most influential electronic albums of album time. A total must have.

We have the honour to welcome the Swedish based Axling.

Axling debutes on Eternal Friction Records with a 4 track EP called "Perplex".

The result is a powerful EP, that clearly demonstrates Axling's unique and personal approach to contemporary techno.

"Perplex" is filled with powerful grooves, hypnotising leads and uplifting rhythms, is what Axling is all about.

We're very happy to welcome Axling to Eternal Friction Records. Who knows what the future will bring us. Hopefully these banging tunes can destroy some dancefloors.

The next release on Phase Group comes in the form of the debut self-titled album by Carcass Identity, the live mutant-electronics partnership of Bruxelles-based artists Ernesto Gonzalez and Matthieu Levet aka Bear Bones Lay Low and Carrageenan.

Following up their breakthrough 2018 EP on Random Numbers, Carcass Identity present us with 6 tracks of warped, percussive, dub-infused psychedelics, born of live hardware jams and succinct sampling work.

Sonically, this LP takes you from the tension-inspiring but dance floor initiating stutter-chug of ‘Things to Forget,’ through the swelling and trance-inducing percussion ride of ‘Spiraling Paradigm’ before ending the A-side with the dubbed-out metallic IDM of ‘Freedom Principle’. On the flip, ‘Quiet Spectator’ is a masterpiece of dread-in-dub ominosity followed by the haunted machine jam of ‘Kundu Basket’. Finally, ‘Desultory’ presents the LPs “grooviest” moment, a repeating and evolving synth line and drum machine combo holding things together while modulating synths and a pitched-vocal sample come in and out of the mix.

As a collection of tracks, this record illustrates perfectly the prowess over hardware manipulation that these two artists possess after years individually releasing music and performing in DIY spaces across Europe and the world. These are two musicians that we hold in highest regard and we’re thrilled to be releasing their debut album together on Phase Group.

The 7th release is a solo EP of Elad Magdasi, label owner and passionate raver.

Elad showcases four different tracks that share his core essence of groove and drive. Each track brings something different to the table. "Free Your Mind" is the trippy rumbly one. "Let's Go" will take you back to love parade times. "Teleport" will send you to space, and "Galactic Tools" is a total acid trip celebration.

Front Left Love.

"There was a time when Techno was written with a K; when the music was presented as a song not as a track. It followed a structure - intro, chorus, bridge... These recordings were naive, spontaneous, and raw, that's what made some of them timeless.

Taking inspiration from this period, here is my interpretation. Contemporary Tekno, with a K."

OAKS is the platform where Hector Oaks will release his most personal works. Cut on 45 and with one track per side, this record has been made for DJing.

Crazy right Mike Parker on Float Records. With two originals he steals the show. Known for his iconic sound which is much imitated, never bettered. Just listen and enjoy both pieces of craftsmanship. On the flip side we have our well known Cirkle. With two successful releases on Float so far he now gets the chance to present himself on the magic black wax next to his personal hero Mike Parker.

Tjalk records have been around for a year now. To celebrate this anniversary NZM 99, founder of the label, takes care of this 3rd release in person; “Wakiryes Walk” Ep will be the label’s new album.
In command of his ghost ship, NZM 99 takes us to a devastated world where the obsession to preserve his freedom is a real struggle. Armed with his machines and microphone, he delivers his message through Synthwave, EBM and Techno sounds.
Templer, Midnight Machine, Mr Nô and IV Horsemen joins forces with him to embellish this release with 4 remixes.

Fresh from producing an impeccable run of singles under his Special Request guise, Paul Woolford returns to the Hotflush camp on ferocious form, providing two spectrum-spanning cuts, one of which has already been certified as a bona fide Ibiza
anthem. That honour belongs to the A-side's 'Untitled', which
has garnered fervent support from the likes of Joy Orbison, Midland and Ben UFO, and has been named the track of the summer by the folks behind We Love @ Space. Its compelling groove lays a foundation on which Woolford balances a timeless
piano line, thumping bass stabs and the kind of infectious refrain that's come to define the label's exuberant output of late.
On the flip, the vinyl-only track 'Overload' is a different beast altogether, displaying his technical expertise to meld a barrage of throbbing toms, militant kick drums and sparse breaks, that further
draw upon the influence of jungle and techno which has proved so fruitful for him of late, whilst harking back to the tense, hybrid excursions that litter the label's back catalogue....

One of the main features of techno music is that the music is not limited by geographical boundaries. This feature is well demonstrated by the second release of the Techno Gipsy label, which presents their works of techno artists from different corners of the globe. Two tracks from Swedish breakthrough Sev Dah are simply «dancefloor killers» - Shaban gradually increasing voltage and polished groove and Hamush hits right on target. Remix by Frenchman - Antigone sounds like powerful waves of pulsing bass and Argentinian Jonas Kopp presents two very different interpretations of the original, each of which is in his own original style.

I am happy to welcome the Ukrainian shootingstar Spartaque on board of Terminal M!

He is showing his variety of production on 4 techno tracks - rolling acid to trippy mindtwisting techno! I love it! (Monika Kruse)

The second release of Nastia's NECHTO label represents the cutting edge of modern ukrainian electronic music. Voin Oruwu is a project of Kyiv-based producer Dmitriy Avksentiev, also known as Koloah. Under this alias Dmitry explores his love of cinematography and all things mystical. This time technology, science and art are all fused into one solid EP of high energy tracks with meditative cinematic grooves taking you on a tense science fiction journey through the depths of the universe. This EP has been heavily featured in Nastia's sets all over the world captivating minds and bodies of thousands of clubbers.

The magnetic trail of her previous collab with dub techno wizard Donato Dozzy has merely had time to cool off that Adiel's already set for a new joint exploration of the dancers' deep-buried collective subconscious. This time heading for boreal territories with 'Raso EP', the Roman producer joins forces with Anthony Linell - a producer so often marvelled-at for the unique shine of his angular compositions, part programmatic 4/4 brutalism, part space-&-time abolishing atmospherics.

IM BORED OF ELECTRO! IM BORED OF MINIMAL!
The lyrics say it all, and we at SUF HQ couldnt agree more.
Its time, for hard music to REASSERT ITSELF, and for dancefloors to wean themselves off MOGADON MINIMAL TECHNO and CHEESY ELECTRO and start to EXERT SOME ENERGY AGAIN!!
Kickstart the revolution with this tongueincheek anthem from underground stalwarts Chris Liberator and Sterling Moss, with the Love Acid mix for the acid faithful, and a storming Love Techno mix for those who like it dark, hard and dirty.
A bit of fun, and a poke in the eye for the fashionistas, whose music has dominated the media for far too long. WERE BORED OF IT! LETS RECLAIM THE BEATS AND AVE IT AGAIN!!

Pushmaster Discs is proud to present a new project collaboration with label owner Mattia Trani and the rising techno talent Onyvaa from Los Angeles.

The American producer join the label with a massive pure Nu school-Detroit techno spirit combined with atmospheric chords and solid 909 rytm patterns.

“Climax EP” is a collection of studio jam session tracks written between Barcelona and Bologna from Mattia and Shelby.

Incl.big Rave/Acid Techno remix from icelander producer Dj Exos.

Don’t miss it!

International Day Off records became a new base for one of the most interesting characters of new wave techno in recent years - POST SCRIPTUM, whose name is already and widely known from labels such as Infrastructure New York, Ostgut Ton or Sonic Groove. This EP is a flagship example of what the sci-fi techno is. No doubt the most energetic and the most powerful sounding 3 tracks EP ever released on International Day Off. Everything what you will hear is concentrated on a solid base, with carefully constructed bit pulsation that marks the direction of your music powered space travel. IDO 013 is a very expressive musical proposal, a masterpiece that could be a soundtrack for landing on the Gliese 581 c. Overall this EP is a must have for every modern, post-industrial space traveler!

Moodulab presents "X" , the new release from our label will be soon available on vinyl. It contains four cuts from different artists.

On side A "Zero Gravity" by Clash an artist with a strong techno sound definition, presents a grooving & dirty track with acid lines wrapped in dark journey texture. Continuing on this side, V1L one of the most constant artists in our roster, includes "War Insemination", a track including many atmospheres, textures and trippy colors. Hypnotic and amazing sounds that occur in sequence of audio chains.

On the flip, Julixo, one of the best techno producers hailing from Argentina, includes his track "Arcadia". Broken beats with strong sound and vocal samples to make this track a solid techno dancefloor killer. The last track to end up this release, we've got "Geografía Física" by DJ MELEJ & RMDR. This duo from Argentina samples the experimental side of label, with lo-fi sounds, downtempo with deep sounds.

Searching for new ways to express himself, Maarten Smeets (one half of Detroit Swindle) has found a new perspective on music in his alter ego “Wanderist”. Here, he shares his unique view on contemporary electronic music with strong influences from dub, electro, techno and ambient in tempo’s that match the intensity, funk and drive of his sound. As Wanderist, he has been writing some of his more abstract work of recent times. His sound is melancholic yet euphoric, using powerful loops and dreamlike melodies to create a dense flow in his compositions. His debut release is signed to Aus music later in 2020 and he has also launched his own label titled ‘Transient Nature’ where his own work will be released along with the work of like-minded artists. With a large catalog of music ready to release and collaborations with various labels planned for 2021, the future is bright for Wanderist.

The release is the firstborn of a promising lable based in London: PLS. UK. To briefly introduce it there are 3 key-words: dark noise, experimentalism, unknown. That's our music and even more, our life. We are finally delighted to announce our first issue with a so talented artist such as Ansome along with Ossian and Ayarcana. Now just silence and enjoy music. WE DO!

3 tracks by 5 artists with a passion for stripped down dubbed out house and techno have joined forces for this very user-friendly piece of slab. The first track: Dub 2.3 by Fede Zerdan is a no-compromise ode to the sound of echoes in empty spaces. The second track Marz by Karina is a far more feline affair, purring it's way around a funkified acidic bassline with a groove that's guaranteed to make you move.

The label side is reserved for Minimal Surface... a collaboration between the Russian master of dub techno Heavenchord & the Italian dual delay and blood brothers, Sibling. This one is an insisting 4 to the floor peek time banger that is guaranteed to ripp dancefloors apart wherever it may land.

Limited hand stamped copies..

The oscillating future ahead us will not be as we imagined it. We don’t know what it will be like - yet is certain it’s an individual experience.
Abstrack Future 002 is about that.

A split that takes us through its mysterious and exotic melodies to discover a new musical place - but at the same time one that we already know.

The "Project 5 EP" is an absolutely critical piece of underground House from Kelli Hand, The undisputed "first lady" of Detroit House / Techno.

Having changed hands for substantial sums of money on-line over the years, this is the first time the EP has been repressed on wax and made widely available much to the joy of dance music lovers and Detroit fanatics worldwide.

Re-pressed and re-mastered in conjunction with Kelli Hand and with the original Acacia Records artwork intact, this is an unmissable re-release of a record that has stood the test of time and will continue to rock dance-floors well into the future.

"Music from a well known place to an unknown destination..."

A shared album from two acid mavericks. Listen in as they share all of their experience in brewing and consuming beverages (hic)...Review by Pietro @ Igloo Magazine "A double album from two acid mavericks Roy of the Ravers and Myoptik...85-minutes of acid-drenched braindance mayhem that is disjointedly playful.Myoptik's side of the platter stirs a myriad of distorted found sounds, vocodered samples, broken techno, and electro fragments into a proverbial sonic soup while Roy of the Ravers delves into early-era rave-infused acid techno and crackling breaks (as would be expected), only to balance each other out as a whole.Such a plethora of experimental and movement-based nostalgic electronics makes for an energy-packed collection that traverses a historical backdrop of early 90s warehouse raves.Listen in as these two musicians share all of their experience in brewing and consuming beverages, while somehow managing to record the results."

Originally released between 2002 and 2006 by Antidandruff. Remastered by Joel Krozer at 6BitDeep Studio Copenhagen. Respect to Rumenige and Loktibrada for making this reissue transcend to the next generation and probably to eternity.

In this, his inaugural release, LAW334 welcomes the listener to his musical language through four tracks.

Arco and Wire Hangers are two synth dominated techno cuts that bookend a more experimental offering in Veils; an abstracted exercise in audio processing bassoon samples. In the closing track Panspermia, Choronzon takes the wheel to LAW334's engines in an ecstatic trance through a distorted desert landscape.

Ideal Audio presents the fourth and final instalment of Oliver Huntemann and Dubfire's seminal ELEMENTS series. These techno heavyweights have worked together on numerous projects over the years, but it is their Elements collaborations that have shone impressively as a complete body of work. AGUA is the final piece of the music puzzle and completes the series that first saw the light of day back in 2010 with the scorching FUEGO.

2011 brought us TERRA, firm and powerful with its devastating breakdown. 2013 saw us breathe in the mystical AIRE, harnessing the elements of the previous tracks to build a fresh and magical moment. AGUA, as its name suggests, flows effortlessly, helped in no small part by the sultry vocal of Xenia Beliayeva, but kicks in equal measure.

Signing off in such style has also lead to Ideal Audio drafting in some heavy weight talent on the remixes. Carl Craig, under his C2 moniker, dives straight in to strip the original to its core. A single drum beat, siren, clap... and then the kick. Petar Dundov twists the original's elements into a bubbling acidic stream that washes over us.  An impressive package for an impressive finale!

First part of this conceptual double EP by Eric Fetcher. "Krell lab" is a full journey into a deep interpretation of the evergreen basic of techno by one of the most solid techno producers. His sound is accurate in every detail, a mix of past, present, future... high level of techno!
