Club-fueled horsepower drives this 9-track "Cinnamon Behind the Wheel," as the Asheville-based producer DZee weaves together a collection of shapeshifting landscapes of euphoric breaks, gritty industrial rhythms, hypnotic-induced dub and UK rave stunners into a cross-pollination of both UK and US inspirations. As the cofounder and operator of TRAM Planet, DZee forges new frontiers for the label with this wild ride into pure dancefloor heat for all sound system terrains.

Whether it's the arpeggiated vocals in the rave anthem "Expired Lotion Aug 29," the kinetic feedback beatdown of "Ho Ken Waa" or the electro breaks hybrid opener "Phantasy Rewind" - "Cinnamon" has as many shades of styles as it does bangers. But DZee flexes more than just versatility prowess here, as it clocks in at nearly 50 minutes, the release covers a masterful blend of wide range BPMs and seamless arrangement structures that run as smooth as the shifting gears of a high octane engine.

2019 has sparked a new evolution for the transient broken beats of London’s Itinerant Dubs.
The enigmatic imprint has been running in silo since 2013, providing the final strongholds of the underground with innovative bass aesthetics and an intoxicating electro swarm. In fact, “It’s Magic” opens the A-side with a cold, bruising cut of metallic percussion wrapped around lonesome, dystopian bleeps and form-shifting synths. Minimised and stripped-back to its core functions, guided by bold infusions of breaks. “Oh She Dance” is the duo’s most playful construction yet, mashing up a loose jungle flow with more rigid breakbeat science to form a deathly machine-gun of sonics. Bullets keep spraying across “Salsa On Mars” - a raucous, percussion-heavy slice of dubbed-out house - albeit with a moodier, more introspective groove that takes its ammunition from London’s inimitable jazz arsenal.

After his fantastic acid bomb 'Carve', released in 2014 as the opener of DMT 004, Lee Holman finally comes back to the label with a full E.P. And yes, if you know Lee, you know it is going to be analog-infected!

The vinyl opens with 'Provider', an in-your-face techno attack with a directly recognisable synth-line and some heavy claps that will drive you insane. 'Disarmament' takes us in much deeper territory, with some beautiful pads opening up through the track, while the a reverberated layer of percussion keeps the dancer on his toes. 'Breaking the Code' brings in the acid, while the track bleeps away to eternity, taking us further into Lee's dark universe. The E.P. finishes with 'Eagles in a Cage', a beautiful introspective piece of ambient music.

MUSAR continues to explore the healthy landscape of underground and alternative electronic music with the debut release on the label from Nightwave. 'The Journey' is a fitting title for the Glaswegian producer, DJ and promoter, who has been a lynchpin for the city's vibrant music scene since her first release in 2010. In the time since, Nightwave has a developed a punchy and highly original sound that blends potent influences of acid, techno and forward-thinking bass music, with releases on DABJ, UTTU, Fool's Gold, DEXT and her own imprint Heka Trax.

For her MUSAR debut, Nightwave celebrates, in her own words, "joy, dance, exploring inner worlds, the celebration of nature and life and how it all interconnects". On a delicate tip, opening and title track 'The Journey' establishes the EP's "rainforest rave" aesthetic, spiralling upwards with weightless energy. It's underlying percussion steps forward on 'Jiboia Groove', which blossoms thrillingly into wave upon wave of ethereal, breakbeat-led rave.

'Monkey Puzzle' pulls a similar, if more uncompromising trick, only with its rhythmic timber instead succumbing to layers of rough-hewn, squealing acid synthesis and pounding snare drums. 'Forest Guru' meanwhile restores much of the record's spiritual equilibrium in one fell swoop, finding a clearing in the landscape to sculpt a rolling, detailed jam that's as playful as it is creative.

Naive founder and Lisbon's rave goddess, Violet generously remixes 'The Journey' in intriguing fashion, unravelling a trippy and tense riddle at the heart of the rainforest.

On this confusing ball of mud we call Earth, where things sometimes appear to be drifting apart, it's refreshing to see things coalesce. In a year which made impossible the now highly anticipated annual unveiling of new projects and collaborations that usually accompanies Berlin Atonal, the festival has compiled a major selection of new works by a range of artists from across the advanced musical landscape. Entitled More Light the compilation traverses the vast spectrum of musical
experience.
French producer Aho Ssan - who made his debut at Berlin Atonal’s 2019 edition - has smelted the vocals of Exzald S into a multi-layered track that gestures towards a future language for computer-produced music. New York’s Hiro Kone pairs with group A’s Tot Onyx to debut their collaboration with an outstanding showpiece of groaning power-surge electronics, while legendary futurist Gerald Donald XOR Gate alias.
Speculative widescreen-electronics protagonists Roly Porter and Paul Jebanasam unveil the first recorded track of their collaborative Altar project, conjuring up an entire ecology composed of both positively and negatively charged emotional-electronic particles. Enchanted Belgian magicians Pablo’s Eye offer a new track that grows out of the melancholic ambient-pop that the collective has been making since the 90s, while Nkisi hones in on a section of her premiere Atonal ’19 set ‘’Initiation” and reworks it into a brawling, bleak, hard-edged trampler.
These tracks sit beside a transformational collab between Abdullah Miniawy and Carl Gari, evocative synthesised works from Caterina Barbieri and Laurel Halo, unclassifiable post-ambient from exael and Kazakh-British violinist Galya Bisengalieva and much much more. The festival’s legendary revived imprint which has previously hosted contributions from Cabaret Voltaire, Psychic TV, Marshstepper and others now has a monumental new chapter.

Paris based label Rose Et Rosée is proud to present the first solo EP from artist BATAILLE. This second release from RER is a self-contained universe that fits into the label's open-minded, experimental style. Veteran of the Parisian club scene, BATAILLE has risen through the ranks of several house and minimal labels with his group Antislash (Circus Company) as well as joining forces with trans-genre labels such as Silicate to release solo work under the name John Merrick. With this EP he delivers two tracks that share the same tone but differ in intention. Like two sculptures crafted from the same material, these pieces use a common tool to reveal two distinct aspects of the artist's psyche. The spirit of the record is eminently sensitive and in this respect Bataille develops a panorama of emotions to illustrate his narrative, culminating in two poems that are a reminder of howtechno can tell a story as well as make people dance. A1: DUB CONNECTION relates an aching surge in a deluge of chanting, heady synths. The loops emerge from the track in search of a summit that doesn't appear, and this restraint, this melancholic pressure, is vertiginous like the insatiable moments of adolescence. In a confusion of grace and hostility, DUB CONNECTION bellows out that all is lost yet the game was still worth playing. A2: ACID DIRTY LIFE is another vicious spiral. But unlike the internal storm of DUB CONNECTION, this is an acid hurricane that threatens the world and its inhabitants. Turbulent rhythms bid us to a tropical communion where the seasons favor techno that is hot and heavy.

Finally, the time has come that Frau Anke releases her first own vinyl with Delude Records.
For a while now she is a regular feature of the techno label based in Berlin.
Her sense of music and sound are the reason why her tracks are unique and timeless.
The release contains of four tracks in the best techno style.
On the A side the track HEADWAR creates a rough and powerful beginning. The track NEXT STOP with his playful chords takes us on a journey.
On the B side Frau Anke presents the track NON PROFIT which encourages to dance. The slightly experimental straight forward track GAME ON completes this vinyl.

Detroit bred / LA based producer Kenny Larkin has long been a force to be reckoned with, both in the studio and in the DJ booth. His 'Vanguard EP' from 1992 was released under the name POD, another of his aliases used for the deep sonic exploration of Techno that he undertook, thus changing the face of modern electronic music right up to this day. Featured here is the full '92 EP with the addition of another POD rarity entitled 'Chinese Checkers', lifted from a compilation a number of years later. The music contained within this 2 x 12" reissue should not be understated, this is pure, unadulterated Detroit Techno sounds of the highest order. A truly staggering collection of music that somehow transcends the decades since it's release 20+ years ago and still sounds forward thinking today. House and techno focussed FINA sister label FINA WHITE comes through with more direct dance floor grooves from Bodyjack, aka Chris Finke. The veteran artist serves up two killer tracks, one dub and four locked grooves that provide serious heat for DJs and dancers.

Before now, former DMC competitor Finke has established himself with his Bodytrax label in association with the Clone.nl crew, standout mixes for Radio 1 etc and EPs on the likes of UTTU, Hypercolour and DEXT, all while being a famous former resident of titanic techno party Atomic Jam and playing the world's finest clubs for years.

Arresting opener 'Measure Twice, Cut Once' is a big, buoyant techno monster with warped acid lines and raves vocal stabs all adding fuel to the fire. The locked grooves serve up scintillating breakbeats that are hugely powerful and ripe for abuse in the club, and then 'Enfant Terrible' is a dark and eerie warehouse monster. The bass is loud, the kicks rock solid and an echoing female vocal lost in the midst of it all draws you in deeper. Closing things out, the dub versions strip things back to gritty chords and heavy, well-swung kicks that make you march.

This is high class, high functioning techno from one of the finest in the game.

Arkham Audio presents yet another delicious techno EP by renowned French electronic musician Electric Rescue alongside a solid lineup of remixers. 'Dream Warriors' follows on from Electric Rescue's recent album release on none other than John Digweed's Bedrock Records, and comes bearing more of the intoxicating rhythms that we have grown accustomed to and equally as indulging reworks by Denise Rabe, TWR72, and Arkham label head Cri Du Coeur. This record firmly establishes that his hypnotising yet adrenalizing sound is a force to be reckoned with as he unveils a relentless yet minimalistic techno sound that shows inspiration from his friend and mentor Laurent Garnier.
The rave begins with the original mix of 'Dream Warriors', which leads with an infectious beat and hazy serpentine melody that thrusts your mind into a powerful yet entrancing oblivion. Heavy percussions and lively daunting melodies set the tone for rest of the record. Cri Du Coeur's rework of introduces itself with a pommelling baseline, layers of stimulating hi-hats, and transcendental melodies that create the perfect inebriating brew. The Denise Rabe remix spices things up with a mind-numbing visceral baseline and spooky industrial sounds that echo throughout the atmosphere.

Mirae Arts is an independent vinyl label based in northern California with focus on experimental ambient and techno music. Inspired by travel and natural landscapes, Mirae Arts boasts a diverse catalogue of projects from artists such as Seraphim Rytm, Michiru Aoyama, and Katsunori Sawa.

Katsunori Sawa & Anthone (aka Martsman) are Bokeh, the dynamic duo behind some of the most notable releases on Berlin’s Weevil Neighbourhood. Bokeh blends together the distinctive styles of Katsunori Sawa & Anthone, who have releases on labels such as Opal Tapes, SNTS, Hidden Hawaii, and many more under their belts. This year, Bokeh has already released a 12” EP for UVB-76 and Mirae Arts is proud to announce the follow up debut LP release called Lenses Dances.

Lenses Dances comprises 8 tracks that reflect on the photograph effect called bokeh, where aperture settings of the respective camera lens create vivid patterns, almost like dancing dots. It is a dedication to the artists’ love for photography. The music is complemented by Paul Nicholson’s signature graphic designs.

Artwork design by Paul Nicholson, UK graphic designer who created the famous Aphex Twin logo and The Laughing Man logo for the cult-classic anime, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Paul has since designed logos and artworks for numerous artists and organizations.

The vinyl opens with the mystical groovy journey called Fluctuation. The second track Fluent Iteration is probably the artist's most tortured production where a dialogue between a humming bass and a dark pad take the main role. Inflation is a long and dark apocalyptic descent.
The deep techno legend Claudio PRC closes the EP in the best way possible with a great remix of Fluctuation revealing his dreamy and emotional side. "

Global Dialog welcome as their inaugural release the first installment from mysterious French project « A.T. », a four-tracker that pays
homage to the classic Basic Channel dub techno sound while enlarging the spectrum of the genre to its harder edges and a softer,
house-leaning approach. As such, the record embraces different vibes and atmospheres: with their stellar melodies and dreamy
chords, “Recess” and “We Never Fight (On A Birthday Night)” share a common feeling of intensity and nostalgia, displaying a
contemporary, Bicep-like take on 90’s UK dance music, while “Subterranean Echoes” and “Cosmos Redshift 7” embrace darker
colors, where clicks and cuts meet detuned pads and shifting drum patterns drenched in a distant white noise, a perfect match for
after hour sets in dimly lit warehouses.

Cristal clear lakes, impressive mountains, soothing forests and
Berlin Techno music.The National Park of Saxon Switzerland in eastern Germany, south-east of Dresden offers endless ways to have a great hiking journey. The 93km region between Pirna and the Czech border is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Europe. More than 700 summits are available to rock climbers, while for those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground, there are 400 km² of marked hiking-trails, steep treks, paths and some cycle routes through the National Park. In this area, called the Erz mountains, we found our beautiful cover stone with a typical Ore layer inside.

Alejandro Baltazar Moreno’s (Alex M) debut EP “New Culture” manages to be simultaneously haunting and childlike. The artist pulls inspiration from a multiplicity of cultural anchors- from Marxist class theory to 80’s/90’s video game soundtracks; from Situationist International to social isolation. He creates a sound outside of geographic boundaries that projects vibrations meant for a hidden observer at the edge of a dream. Alex credits artists like Paul Johnson, New Order, Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, and DJ Deeon as some of his earlier influences that helped shape his sound. Despite being from Texas, Alex constructs his own sense of identity through his productions and that is directly reflected throughout his work.

Introducing Earth Plates vol 3 - the debut pressing of Budapest’s young talent CT Kidobó.

Berlin-based Irish artist Hybrasil delivers a high-grade debut album on Radio Slave’s Rekids. Since moving to Berlin Hybrasil has been an avid buyer of records at Hardwax, going to modular workshops at the cult Schneidersladen, attending Superbooth and Berlin Atonal, Panorama Bar and Berghain, whilst releasing his big, arresting techno sounds on his own eponymous label. Alongside this he’s been spending time in the studio with Radio Slave, who played Hybrasil's ‘Hathor’ in Panorama Bar which kicked off a three-month burst of creativity that led to this album. As such, the album is very much a product of the artist's time in Berlin and was written for the Panorama Bar and Berghain sound system and all who attend its dance halls. The album takes off with the smooth rolling techno of'Hathor'; that gets you on your toes, while 'Come Back'; soon ups the ante thanks to the way Hybrasil twists and turns his synths above the rooted kick drums. 'Ceres'; then has edgy sustained chords and thunderous claps that will sound mega in a cavernous warehouse space. 'Orpeheus'; is a masterclass in economical but effective techno, with well-crafted hi hats, rolling kicks and vocal stabs all driving it forward. 'Ursa Minor'; traps the listener in unresolved loops that keep a locked groove, until 'Messier'; mixes up seriously weighty bass-drum thuds and Jeff Mills style melodic minimalism. The compelling LP completes with 'Igigi'; and 'Vela', two more astral techno rollers with celestial synths and devastating drum programming.

Following up on their debut LP Kick Drunk Love for Marcel Vogel’s Intimate Friends imprint a few years back, we are proud to present the next installment in the sporadic KAMM legacy: Cookie Policies.

Far more sonically rich and musically adventurous than its predecessor, Cookie Policies sees the band make bold strides into new territories where classically hardwired categories such as jazz, indie rock, and electronica melt into one another with immaculate, timeless ease.

The band members’ positions are more clear cut as well this round, with Marc David Barrite (aka Dave Aju, who also did one of his coveted mix engineering jobs on the LP) on prominent lead vocals in many of the pieces, Alland Byallo on trumpet, Kenneth Scott on synth bass, and Marc Smith adding guitar sections while the others shared the arranging and programming duties. This makes for a deeper continuation of the otherworldly combination of their known individual production styles, as well as a musical whole truly greater than the sum of its parts.

The set starts off with “Bird Call”, whose opening ode to Morricone ok corral-meets-samurai showdown riffs flow into a loose and drifting psychedelic boom bap blip, building until a glorious change-up of key and energy brings the track to its peak and deconstructed back down. “Rachel, the Largest Bullfrog” then takes things in a sweeter, slightly more traditionally-structured direction where dusty indie-folk ballad vibes intersect with an array of twisted cosmic tones, bits of computer keyboard percussion, and deep rolling sub bass. “Buckle Down” then moves things back away from acoustic restraints into a beautiful synth-laden musing on potential regret, with an ultra-potent horn section from Byallo vs a nasty stacked Roland SH-101 finish.

“CCBPGC” cools things off for a few minutes with an ambient field recording slice-and-dice motif, which slowly but surely evolves into a slinking jazz noir groove from another dimension. The more traditional song structures return on the lovely “La Luna”, where Barrite’s pen and soulful voice take to nautical longing themes over apropos waves of sonic textures. The ebb and flow of the verse/chorus sections eventually rise and give way to an absolutely gorgeous denouement. “Shleem” then takes us into pure unadulterated soaring sci-fi soundtrack ambient blast-off bliss, while the epic closing track “The Soft Glow of Electric Sex” gives a hearty nod to early masters of sprawling psychedelic jam sessions, from Pink Floyd and Can to In A Silent Way-era Miles and Liquid Liquid, while bringing it clearly into futurist millennia. The gradual evolution of the piece into its grand finale is the stuff we true music-lovers live and die for. We hope you enjoy the ride as much as we do.

Emerging from the dynamic tundra north, Iceland to be exact, the newly established imprint LAHAR celebrates its launch with a fiery EP from the scene's most mythical
creature, NonniMal. Dubbed after the eponymous volcanic debris flow that swallows whatever crosses its path, LAHAR refracts in its sound the ever-changing, jagged and
entangled landscapes of a crisis-riden time.

Residing today in the company of many post-industrial wonders, from Reykjavik's semi-subterranean water reserve Gvendarbrunnar to the phallus-shaped Smaralind mall, NonniMal prefers to give salience to his environment and remain extensively unknown. In this untitled high-octane techno EP, he spurs us to imagine an uncanny coalescence of glacial disaster into the minimalism of enumeration.

After kicking off 2019 with Nightwave and Jerome Hill’s brutal “Psychic Tonic” we are happy to announce that we’re back with the 4th instalment of our Two-on-One 10” vinyl DEXT Limited series.

So far we have visited UKG, Jungle, Breakbeat-Acid-Techno and as the wheel of the Hard Core continuum continues to spin, this time we thought it was about time we put out a straight 4x4 techno banger.

Making his DEXT debut we welcome long-time label supporter Troy Gunner. “Get Loud” is a total panel beater of a track destined to tear up large cavernous dancefloors.

On the flip we have a remix from someone who has been a driving force of the development of the UK Techno scene since the early 90’s, Mr Mark Broom. Mark takes the original, enhances it and gives it that Broom sheen in his own inimitable style.

Blintmusik is releasing its next fresh two-tracker: Blint005. The A-side starts with a stroll down a dark alley on a hot summer night which quickly turns into an acid mayhem with wild bleeps shooting across the sky like flares. 'Chauncey Street' creates an in-depth dancefloor moment that makes you want to immerse in the crowd and completely loose yourself. On the B-side there is 'Mondphase_2' a Blintonian smasher that combines a bassline reminiscent of 90's Drum'n'Bass with an armada of sharp bleeps and a bouncy electro beat driving all the way through the track only stopping for a massive breakdown of earthshaking bass and screaming noises. Three of the major pedestals in the Icelandic techno scene gave birth to a classic Thule release in 1997. This collaboration between Sanasol (Yagya & Thor) & Ozy gave result of an EP, which is considered by many to be one of the finest of the Icelandic techno of that era.
