Techno Vinyl New Releases - News

Another fine collection of Knarz Classix from the vaults of AFU including the everlasting Uns Verbrennt Die Nacht (just rocketing again in Thomas’ DJ sets !), followed by the best ever live version of the uber-classic Tanzmaschine, leading into the heavy Mooged out Kapriolen track and finishing off with the unreleased funky knarzer Knarzolino.

Don’t be confused by the older catalogue number as the Vinyl was supposed to be released some years agao, but was somehow forgotten in the events of time (but labels were already done ;-)

Berlin Invasion breaks the code again, with again a brilliant techno exploration from Kony Polny to open the dance... Tribal shaking nostalik techno song... defenilty a creative and exciting tune ! THE one on this EP for all music lovers ? The second track will bring you a sweet techno mental acid sensation... mindtravelling and wicked at all moments of it... Sweet Brian Eno kiker style maybe ? The Flip is more about dancefloor tracks... With DAVE the drummer and Patrick DSP callab first and Sonico and his acid oldschool track... Totally exciting ! BIG !

Six years have passed since Sleeparchive aka Roger Semsroth produced the phenomenal "A Man Dies In The Street' EP series for Tresor. Semsroth then went on to produce under this and other aliases (Nordvest, Civil Defence Programme) on his own eponymous imprint.
With the "Revised Recordings EP', Sleeparchive continues to research and master the dense constructed rhythmic textures that have become his signature sound. The three titles are magistral demonstration of Semsroth's high-hand at designing such labyrinthine structures, ever so strongly rooted in an exalted past, yet always thrusting forward.
Ongoing with his Sleep Cycle series, he includes six tightly locked grooves cut on the A-side, only available on vinyl format.

Anonymous label, VDK, return with their second release after their first, VDK001, sold out in record time. The hype surrounding the label is well deserved, as they step up with another triple header.

VDK002 kicks off with an energetic number. A1 features warm string pads alongside rolling percussion and subtle vocal snippets.

This segues us nicely into the flip, where the melancholy of B1 awaits. Haunting piano stabs are woven into a lilting synth arrangement. Guaranteed to make the hairs on your neck stand to attention.

The package closes out with the acid drenched peak-timer that is B2. Treated vocals float across the mysterious 303 line as a funky bassline lays the track’s foundations at the bottom end.

A new split EP for those who like chainsaws, tinnitus, speech therapists and wonky machines. For those who know the smell of sweat on a TB-303. For those who enjoy drinking hot beers in stinking rooms.

There are few, if any, artists currently working in electronic music to match BLANCAh’s talent and versatility. Whether it’s DJing, singing live (often during her own sets) or producing, her creative cup constantly overflows, which is why she has become one of South America’s breakout stars with a CV that includes some of the world’s most renowned platforms. From releases on Steyoyoke, Movement, and Lost On You; touring the globe or holding residencies at two of the world’s most famous clubs (Brazil’s Warung and D-Edge), BLANCAh is proof-positive cream always rises. Now, following two acclaimed releases with Renaissance, ‘Cold Lights’ and ‘Walk In Clouds’, BLANCAh presents her second studio album ‘Arias Of Sky’.

Dance isn’t a genre that’s embraced the album format as a rule, but with ‘Arias Of Sky’ BLANCAh has undoubtedly delivered a body of music that doesn’t so much challenge the status quo as rip-up the rule book. It’s a showcase that deftly balances melodic electronica with her club roots as she explains, “Arias is a true labour of love that took months to produce. I consciously shifted my sound to create an emotive soundscape that people will hopefully listen and dance to in equal measure.”

Opening with her spoken word on ‘Afago’, the album progresses from downbeat beauty to haunting club anthems, taking in a myriad of influences along the way; if Kate Bush’s ‘A Sky Of Honey’ went to a Brazilian nightclub this would arguably be the resulting love child.

Finally, it’s only fitting such a creative album offer DJs and listeners creative options as to how they want to listen to it, something BLANCAh was keen to provide. “Although I completed the album the job was far from done”, she explains, “I decided to offer it in 3 different formats, the original versions, extended mixes and a continuous mix as if it were a DJ set in its own right. With the latter I even created three exclusive ‘INTERLUDES’ to help with the transitions and flow. It’s a very personal journey that represents my strange and wonderful take on the world. I hope people enjoy it.”

Danse Club Records is back with a new limited series of Records
including some Vinyl Only Tracks and Mixes.

Only 100 copies printed

This is the 19th release on RIOT Radio Records, an independent techno label based in Scotland.

Melbourne based Travis Evans aka Dep Affect is one heavy hitting techno legend who commands absolute respect. Avoiding the cheesy and obvious at all costs, Dep Affect’s original and intriguing sounds relentlessly overwhelm and punish dance floors to within an inch of their lives.

Continuing with our ‘Limited As Fuck’ series of 12”s, Dep Affect brings his infernal racket to our label with his own full on release after we’d hired his devilishly twisted services for remix duties on ‘Violations’ by Yu Ikemoto.

There’s five annihilating tracks on this beast starting with an acid monster that’ll rip you to pieces before continuing to send you even more out of your mind as the release cycles you through a torrent of emotions. To say this release is clobbering is an understatement. Track after track thrashes you to within a fraction of deranged insanity. But don’t blame us, you’ve been pre-warned, we take no responsibility for anyone that’s committed to the loony bin.

WARNING: THESE SONIC AFFECTS ON YOUR SENSES WILL INDUBITABLY CAUSE YOU TO SCREAM

Perception Series is the new project from the label Faut Section. For the first release we have Reeko, Tensal, Lewis Fautzi and Norbak.

Rhyw is Alex Tsiridis aka one half of Cassegrain. On this, his solo debut for Arcing Seas, his smoul-dering alien techno sound manifesto continues to thrive over three unique tracks.

The morphing, deconstructed acid of 'Unpunishable' - a molten statement of lusty intent - strikes first in a heady, hazy pummelling of doom-funk. 'Vertisol' pushes crisp and dry snaking percussion through an anechoic chamber; the bass end neatly warming at first then burning hard through your mid section.
An icy cold shot of 'Aqua Velva' is the final offering - a pushing sub-level trip through Rhyw's private domain - where tingling rushes of bass and static charges wash over us leaving a sinful residue.

Label info:
Arcing Seas is an anagram of Cassegrain. It started out as a secret alias, releasing a couple EPs on Our Circula Sound. The secret was less well kept after the duo appeared at Berghain under this name. A year later, after deciding to start a label, it finally made sense to bring the two together.
CASSEGRAIN = Co S o S o G o R o N o A o E o A o I = ARCING SEAS

Coming back for another round after his first EP for Figure last summer, Shlomi Aber continues to explore different avenues of his multi-faceted sound, tying it all up in a nicely rounded package. Setting the pace is driving opening track Whistler, the producer showcasing his ability to craft something big but undoubtedly refined. He then lets old school drums cruise along gentle sways of washed out ambience, giving the deep heads something to really get into... Back with more techno on the B-side, this time in true Figure-style: lean, sharp, and utterly effective Penetrate The System is sure to leave its mark and comes complete with an extended, separate intro, making for quite an experience. Staying atmospheric to the end, Aber chooses to step out in half-time, taking cues from dubstep as hollowed kicks carve out an endless tunnel that leads only ever deeper down the rabbit hole.

After his exciting album Elasticity' on his own imprint Elastic Dreams, A Sagittariun delivers the equally fascinating three track Oxidize EP' for german label Couldn't Care More. While Heights' is a stripped-down basic-channelish techno ride, rough, edgy and with a hint of hypnotic melodies, the title track heads in a quite different direction: still it's raw expressionistic techno, but the flow is ever-changing, mesmerizingly shifting and twisting between hissing beats and enlightened synths. For the remix of Oxidize' Golden Pudel Club resident and odd-house virtuoso RVDS fires up the acid machine and does it Detroit style, warm and cold, uplifting and melancholic.

The record is a flashback that’s never been. Again, it focuses on the static nature of certain beautiful, unresolved club moments. The dancefloor was mostly fractured and hardly ever uniting. But still, it was a promise. “Denouement” is for those who are seeking to come out of isolation on their own terms, sharing a set of possible gestures and moves, not guided by feral policies and opportunist cackle. The “exit strategy” lives among us. We believe that this is what this record is about, too. Time to take matters into our own hands, even if that means leaving for good.

The motorcity boys are back with LOVEiT003 a fresh sounding 4 tracker strongly reflecting the diversity of styles found at their parties. lds kicks thing off with 909 To Heaven, a jacking and balearic workout with a rootstrax, Chicago style bassline keeping the floor hypnotised until the small hours of the morning. Snares, Kicks & Rhodes is a more laid back jam. Lazy warm pads and a slow winding sub bass rise and fall intermittently only to be interrupted by a lo-fi distorted bass that snaps you right out of that trance. Nico Brun opens the flip side with an absolute banger, hazily reminiscent of that 90's warehouse rave. lds and Nico Brun close the EP with an atmospheric collaboration perfect to start or end the night with. Splashy beats keep up the footwork whilst pulsating synth sounds slowly wind together and drop with a beautifully crafted sample that's guaranteed to bring some sexyness back to the dance floor. This EP will definitely be a regular addition to your record bag to spread those warm summer party sounds. - Bruno Farace Early Support: XDB (Echochord / Dolly): "Debut ep" Congrats! End Monologue is my favourite.

Thomas´ APOKALYPSO marks his return to Rett I Fletta almost exactly 3 years after he started it with BLUSJKETUTA and ÅPNE SLUSA. And following a now famous Winston Churchill saying: 'This is not the End, not even the beginning of the End. This ("Apokalypso") is ... the End of the Beginning! And the rest is History. Or simply great Tekno not Tekno. All available on Full Pupp's 'techno not techno' offshoot Rett I Fletta!!!

Ruutu Poiss returns to International Major Label with two evolutionary,
spacetime bending dance floor hitters.
The Estonian sound artist revisits the psychedelic approach used for his first 7" release on the label (Halli / Uttu, 2016), expanding his refined palette with the use of modular synthesizers.

Pull / Push holds extraterrestrial, contemporary techno music. Off-kilter, but very effective.
These two powerful gems could easily be described as 'heavy' or 'weighty', but that seems very unfitting here. Where Pull immediately entraps us in a soaring vortex, Push takes a long intro
to launch us hard into a compelling stratosphere.

"Thoughts towards change, evolution, learning from mistakes. Take advantage of the time that we have ahead of us as an opportunity for development, to be who we want to be and not necessarily who we were yesterday. Having absolute control over our subconscious and unconscious mind will allow us to achieve success."

After launching with Jaxe’s acid bomb Seekings earlier this
year, Dom Trojga is back with a bang (and five smiles). Uniting
artists from Ukraine and Poland, and ditching genre
considerations in favour of a shared wavelength, Domownicy
Różnoracy Cz.1 is all about further revelation of the imprint’s
purpose. First up is synth enchantress Poly Chain with the
storming ostinato of Moonhaze (first track ever signed to the
label, but not her last, by any means), followed by the beaming
legend SLG and his soother-shaker Hello Utopia. On the B-side
Jaxe strikes back, teaming up with the uncanny Bejenec
(CHECK OUT HIS LIVE SHOW, FOR REAL), for a hefty slab of
tekno-funk that is Seamless. Finally, label founder Eltron
rounds things up with his own quirky Rym Cymcym. The
beautiful label art has been drawn by the inimitable Martyna
Bolanowska. Playing this record is good for you, so don’t
hesitate.

Don Williams – The legendary Mojuba Don Williams is on fire. No holds barred GTA ride. The Chase. Run for your lives.

Cassegrain – Cassegrain places us in the eye of a mechanical storm. Valves bursting, pressure mounting, compensation needed. Avoid system failure.

In the next chapter of the neo-acid invasion, Neoacid05 delivers a V/A with 4 acid-techno bangers.

The last track sums it up appropriate: The power of acid!

The third collaborative EP sees Clergy boss, Cleric team up with French artist Kmyle. On remix duties is blueprint boss, James Ruskin. A perfect way to conclude the final chapter in this series of releases. (CRG011 - 015)

On the 2nd release of our limited vinyl series, Etui founder Insect O. shows a more diversified musical work. The sound ranges from break beat-electronica to rough and deep techno. Whilst you are standing on top of Victoria Peak in Hong Kong and looking down to the City, you see majestic birds flying around the massive skyscrapers. In this moment you can feel the harmony between the stressful city and the nature surroundings. This feeling was the inspiration for Insect O.´s 'Birds over Hong Kong'. Once again he spreads his love for deep techno with spacey chords and driven beats. Marko Furstenberg made a more Detroit techno inspired remix of the track. He is well-known for his releases on Ornaments or Rotary Cocktail.
'Rusty' is like your 17 years old car with which you drive every weekend to some dark techno parties in dirty underground locations. With its straight beat and spacey organ sounds the track tells you all about rough techno. In 'Echoes of Antarctica' ice cold chords combined with a yearningly pad are flying over broken beats. It is an adventure to one of the coldest place on earth and shows a more experimental side of Insect O.'s work.

Melbourne based producer, DJ and co-founder of Sumac Records, Jon Watts delivers his Butter Sessions debut, Music for 3 CDJs. With over 10 years experimenting as an artist, Jon has an established history with the Australian underground scene. Music for 3 CDJs, showcases two contrasting sides, revealing his ability to seamlessly navigate manifold sounds.

The A-side presents three distinct tracks, thread together with restless percussion and a propulsive force. The introduction to the EP, Prohaasation, is a medley of techno and electro fabrics which progressively build before abruptly halting -- generating suspense for the track to follow. The feverish William gasps and screeches in tones that peak and fall, accompanied by audio maintained throughout; reminiscent of a malfunctioning fax machine. Now It's Done is a choppy and disjointed piece yet coherent in its structure that makes for a rewarding conclusion to the release's first chapter.

Subtlety and minimalism prevail for side B, as Jon gifts us with loops that swirl and churn. AMB 4 marks the first deviation from the narrative of Side A; sounding like hypnotic swelling from the bottom of a deep well. AMB 5 follows suit, divulging more of the picture. Carved out of a sound bed of field recordings, the nine and a half minute piece enchants with its repetitive arc, a spaciousness mirrored in the EP's farewell. The last track Piano 1, is an intricate study of a singular piano chord, examining the layers of the chord's sustain that are disclosed. A testament to Jon's unadorned restraint and confirmation of the old adage that less is really more.

MindTrip's label head, Pfirter, returns to his imprint with an assertive four tracker on wax and one exclusive digital download.

As he continues his hunt to the dance floor while remaining loyal to his signature sound of asymmetric rhythms, accurate arrangements and fierce synth lines, Pfirter is clearly focused on the heaviest side of his own palette. Dosis Multiple is his effort for sharing a balanced release of firm Techno cuts while playing with intensities, moods, hipnosis, tension and release.

Early DJ support from Ben UFO, Objekt, Pariah.

Further notes to follow once promo begins.

The next Planet X invasion is underway! Four mutated and banging hybrids have joined forces for the ultimate techno takeover.
First up is Q-Cumb, a former vegetable farmer from the southern parts of Iceland known for excellent cucumbers. Since he fled his homeland he has gained a notorious reputation in the world of electronic music all over the world. He is known as Odinn, cucumb45, Bbbbbb, kid mistik, slurp gurken, icelandic lamb, orange juice man, gurk, q-cumb, holidayboy slurp and last but not least, Bjarki. His track, Dreamers, is considered the track of the year by those who have experienced it on the dancefloors of the united consciousness. Lafontaine was spawned on the Icelandic highlands and channels Icelands musical energy through his earthy connections. His tune, Ailenated, describes his existence where he fights on a daily basis to combine his music with his daily life. The result is a musical outbreak consisting of terrestrial techno with an experimental feel. ThizOne cooks up the electro-mixture Bolt which is a political anthem that describes his anger towards Icelandic politics. Recently the Icelandic government has been brainwashing the population using corrupted electronic waves. ThizOne's track is an attempt to counteract these terrible acts of treason to our people. Matrixxman, one of the team members of Planet X, throws forward an Acid banger called 'Flexxin On Hoes' that will most definitely tear up the dancefloors of the galaxy.
On the next Planet X release Matrixxman will twist and turn a remix from Lafontaine and mutate that bitch into a nuclear nugget for the future. In other news the Planet X master himself is conjouring his own ep, his first in a while that will see the light of dawn later this year. Don't miss out on this release Space Cowboys!

MindTrip returns to the shelves with a new collaborative release, introducing head honcho Pfirter sharing the same 'room' with Token's label boss Kr!z.

Their Purification of Malice EP opens with Kr!z, presenting his first original material outside of his own platform; while on the B side, Pfirter extends his musical research with 2 trademark cuts. The final outcome is worth every second of the wait.

This is MindTrip.

Radio Slave returns to his Rekids imprint with the explosive ‘Stay Out All Night’.

As the artist behind ‘Grindhouse’, ‘Don’t Stop No Sleep’, ‘Another Club’, and many other timeless cuts, Radio Slave’s knack for crafting Herculean club tracks is unlike any other. ‘Stay Out All Night’ could be one of his biggest yet. With its cleverly arranged breakdowns, it's a high-octane track built on syncopated drums, lively breaks and chopped-up vocals. An absolute bomb. On the flip, ‘Wait A Minute’ thuds onwards with deafening kicks, rattling percussion, and an infectious stuttering vocal exclaiming the track’s title.

Proving to be one of the Berlin-based Brit’s most fertile years, the renowned producer continues to drop a broad range of releases and remixes on Rekids and beyond, including his three-part ‘Radio Silence’ album.

The label with the wrapped skull strikes again for a second vinyl. Industrial, raw, acidified techno, this various artist brings together techno DJs from several horizons.

The first side gathers French acid techno: one of the founders - Axel Picodot - shares this part of the vinyl with Charles Fenckler. Acid and hard percs are the main topic.

The second side goes deeper into the realms of techno. The two giants Ossian and Myler deliver two powerful coup de grâce to beef up the V/A.

The cover takes us into the futuristic universe, as techno has transcended the ages. Credits to Luca Oltra

BNJMN's album Hypnagogia gets the remix treatment. The Berlin based Brit is a common name seen on Delsin since 2014. Here he invites four of his favourite producers to give their twist to his latest album. Featuring Efdemin, Luigi Tozzi, rRoxymore and Mattheis. Up first, Efdemin turns one of the title tracks into a driving and fierce techno twister where Italian producer Luigi Tozzi eases out the bounciness of Indub's original into an atmospheric dub-techno floater. On the flip rRoxymore does her magic with squeaky percussion riffs and playful melodies turning the original ambient jam into a vivid dance floor roller. Finalizing the pack is Nous'klaer mainstay Mattheis using his instinctive feeling for melodies to create a hypnotizing yet gentle version of Moth Lines.

Next up on UVB76 is Bokeh. Delivering a variation of genres and styles over a 4 track EP. Including some experimental techno, heavy drum & bass & an ambient piece for good measure.

Destiny Angel a magical track way ahead of its time. Now out again with a new master sounding more deeper than before, full of Drums , bass and high frequency evolving Chords. Fast and heavy. b1 Bleeps and Bits is a bass driven groove with shuffling house beats morphing along to electric sounds and effects b2 Just Tonight - Raw deep stripped down Beats and baseline with a a gentle vocal for those big sound systems . Great track for the late night Djs and groovers

HIKE: Cristal clear lakes, impressive mountains, soothing forests and Berlin techno music The Hike 007 Vinyl comes from SCHMUTZ, rooted in Belfast. Belfast is Northern Ireland's capital. It was the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, which famously struck an iceberg and sunk in 1912. This time we present you the Divis Ridge Trail. The Divis Ridge Trail is an approximately four-mile walk from the Long Barn to the Black Mountain and the Mournes. The route overlooks Belfast, with a 180-degree view of the city on one side, and of the Mournes on the southern side. Spot birds of prey, like peregrine falcons, along the way.
