COMPLEXX MUSIC 006 comes up with another very special 2x12 and a collaboration of two absolute Techno Legends, Gabriel Le Mar & DJ Dag. Another fantastic Release on COMPLEXX MUSIC and again filled up with superb tunes in every sense. There are no words necessary concerning to Dag & Gabriel, two pioneers of the world wide scenery.
The 2 Main Tracks - Skatalite & - Selectas Choice are the great result of these two dinosaurs of Techno History, and there is although a huge remix package on the COMPLEXX - dinner tray.

On the head Dr. Motte, the father of the Love Parade in Berlin, comes up with a great technoid monster tune for the prime time. The - Selectas Choice -Remix is an outstanding track that keeps the Dancefloor alive. Killer!!

D. Diggler shows again his reputation as one of the most charming producers in the techno scenery. A Sound of Detroit and Tech House combined with an amazing funk in his - Selectas Choice -Interpretation , it´s an absolutely summer smasher !!
We although like to welcome Pascal F.E.O.S. as one of the most influencing DJ´s and producers since the early 90´s on board of the COMPLEXX-Mothership, with an interpretation of - Skatalite . A fantastic walk between Detroit & Chicago and deep Funk!! The Treatment, what a Bomb !!

Tesseract 1 is the first remix EP taken from debut album “Corpus Hypercubus” by JESUSLOVESACID, the figure head behind Vitalik Recordings. The music from the album was described as “IDM with a Balearic twist” by Resident Advisor and was picked up by a wide range of selectors. Tesseract 1 employs some heavy hitters on remix duties, Mathew Jonson and brother Nathan Jonson team up under their Midnight Operator moniker for a high octane acid techno workout, the production is immense as you would expect from the duo and they have managed to retain the ethereal chords of the original track (which also features on the EP) whilst producing a peak time dance floor weapon. Appleblim takes things into dreamier territory with a pitched down breakbeat remix of “Philosophy”, a sublime ode to blissed out hardcore, it’s an enthralling dub masterpiece, another instant classic to add to the collection. Finally there is the anonymous “Wax Works Edit” a dub acid edit aimed squarely at the floor, rounding first vinyl 12” from the JESUSLOVESACID project.

The duo has done a local show at Under Bron in Stockholm as well as Herrensauna in Berlin, this new EP sounds inspired and fresh as their live sets, setting the course straight away.
The reminiscent sounds of Techno's adolescence goes everything but unnoticed as the reduced and powerful 'Cluster' on the A-side showcases Taken's ambitions.
Going into deeper territories, the B-side 'Elysia' almost smells of strobes and smoke machines for the eye-opening moments of a proper party.
With this new EP from Taken, the sounds have really developed and show their excitement for things to come, from their almost three year debut on Skudge Records.

In the most comprehensive display of the Afterlife sound so far, Tale Of Us compile 12 of the tracks they've been playing to great effect over recent months into an impressive and truly singular statement of their sound. A body and brain dance through the realm of consciousness.

First track by 4Q is a wicked Breakbeat tune ! Then comes C-Cil Fakom with a techno sweetie groove... The flip starts solid with Nkod and a Hardtek acid.. and finally Na Mash K closes the affair in a banging acid hardtek track ! A fat one !

Powerful EBM tinged Techno cuts by Betek who's becoming one of the labels mainstay's. Junior Flutuante is opening up the vaults of Bernardo's harder and rougher work. After his succesor in 2018 with 'Discipline' ep we gladly welcome Bernardo back.

The latest addition to Furanum's discography arrives as an EP entitled "White Cold Skin" that simultaneously marks the emergence onto the scene of Beuthen OS. In keeping with the central ethos of the label, the figure behind the guise interrogates and ably materializes the industrial aesthetics of raw power and dystopic bleakness within the confines four diverse yet thematically coherent compositions.

The exploration of said dichotomy is cogently on display within the eponymous track, where an immediately evident presence of inordinate subsonic force is gradually complemented by the imposing throes of harsh yet carefully crafted analog cyclicality. Linearly hurtling toward its final destination, it relentlessly batters the listener with exhilaratory waves of cold sweat in its wake.

In contrast, "J131" and "Porobieni" present far more dispersed and unorthodox rhythmical structures as they maintain the omnipresent sense of part thrilling, part foreboding unease that permeates the record. Propelled by a pervasive pendulatory sway, the former radiates barely repressed power as it exerts its existential narrative, while the latter seems to speak to the ritualistic submission of willing bodies continually broken on the rhythmic wheel of a self-perpetuating cycle of sonic gratification.

Finally, recorded live and serving as an apt epilogue, a beatless yet by no means any less compelling droning rendition closes out the record. Whereas overt melodic content was hitherto eschewed in favor of rhythmic complexity, the piece more than delivers on this front, thrusting the audience into an ever encompassing and vividly visceral collage of throbbing textures as it progresses towards the revelatory unconcealment of a recondite core.

This very catchy jam is clever and intense drum programming at its best, with its swirling toms that seem to float in the air. We feel them activating different body parts for futuristic popping, whereas the relentless boogie rhythm that lays the foundation for this track gives us material to twist our legs in sync to the beat.

A3 RIO LEA
Joe closes this EP with “Rio Lea” - an elegantly swinging jam that smoothly and slowly builds up to a melodic meditation. Its many decorative elements seem all - necessary to make this work and are always falling rightly into place. You can imagine this a perfect fit for a long drink on a spacecraft, watching meteorites pass by, as we are sure it will also work in a bus on headphones late at night, watching the rain rolling down the windows...

London s EarToGround reaches its sentinel twentieth release with more bespoke, forward thinking Techno and happily welcomes on board another Italian artist, Nico Campanella aka Kaelan . With this release he very much shows why he is here via an excellent display of his prolific, emotive sound. Kaelan first came on the radar after his early release on Dax J s imprint Monnom Black . Tracks written for ETG020 fit perfectly with EarToGround s overall aesthetic of ever evolving Techno. In addition, the release also includes dynamic remix work by Kessell from PoleGroup and Granulart Recordings.

Len Faki takes on a couple of classics for 007 of his ongoing special edits series LFRMX, striking a perfect balance between the old and new. First up is a tweaked version of Steve Stoll's 1998 LP-excerpt Reciproheat, elegantly edged while carrying the proper weight to move. DJ Shufflemaster's booming Housedust release from the same year however has a wacky tack to its groove, it's mind-bending qualities yet amplified by Faki boiling down the tempo to more current confines. The flipside goes all deep, starring a rework of Valentino Mora's recent space odyssey. Building upon the original's lively tribal percussion, the prevailent mystical mood is spliced up, readying the track special moments in an otherwise up-tempo-environment. A gently pulsing edit of UBX127's Barabrus eventually puts a meditative and soothing finishing touch to the EP. As with all releases of LF RMX, the proceeds of this record will be forwarded to the Berlin organization Straßenkinder e.V. to be used in actions against child poverty.

Debut EP by one of the most influential women in the Polish techno scene, having played live all over Poland and beyond for 2 years already, resident at Brutaz and recently Selected as a Red Bull Music Academy participant this year.

With releases on the likes of Organic Music, Housewax and (djebali), plus a string of stand-out EP’s via their own labels Sintope and Sintope Digital, Timisoara’s NTFO have established themselves as key names within the realm of minimal and deep house since making their production debut back in early 2008. Having released their ‘Esperantza’ EP on the label last year, here we see the pairing return to Bondage Music in fine form to open their account in 2019 with the impressive ‘Dobr’.
Title cut ‘Dobr’ opens the EP as the duo quickly go to work, introducing a slick blend of sharp drum shots amongst snaking bassline patterns, whilst ‘Blissed Out’ combines organic percussion licks, punch low end tones and warping synth leads to great effect. Next, the first vinyl only track on the package ‘Riddin’ welcomes dubby pads and crisp hats before flowing steadily into the slinking, metallic tones and 303-tinged bass stabs found throughout ‘Standers’.

After the great debut record, Clut Communication is back with a new EP “NS connection” coming from Alex Dima and our Odracir. The guys delivered 4 house electro tunes that will burn the dancefloor.

Weekend Circuits 22nd release sees the return of Ground-Fault-Interrupt, a compilation series launched in 2015 which has welcomed a host of artists including Sleeparchive, Stanislav Tolkachev, Dax J and Par Grindvik. Volume 3 brings a dynamic and present-day representation of hard hitting and trance-inducing newfangled music.

Heavy on the hypnotics, Kwartz brings a sidewinding sonic escape of machines to run parallel with a rolling energy of percussion. A gritty take on modern techno production, sees an opiate energy lift dance floors into upper echelons.

Tense and unnerving, 'Universe Forms' shimmers and collides immersive patterns and reverberating deep horns to create an ever building and reforming enterprise of endurance soundscapes.

Twisting and turning with off kiltered consideration, Rommek brings about a scrutiny of frequencies. Demonic and impulsive, this fiendish track screams hellish frenzy throughout.

Rooted in the darker depths of electronic music, Positive Centre pushes an already ominous 4 track EP into the even more unearthly. Minimal and occult, the rolling subtleties bury themselves and flood the senses. An engrossing deluge of swamp-like audio can be felt across ‘Mesquinhata’.

Global tracks is a mystery; browsing the name online gives nothing associated with the artist. All we really know is that Gothenburg is home base. Most points toward that this is Global Tracks first release and Hoga Nord Rekords are more than proud to be first out giving his/her music out.

With albums like 'Selected Ambient Works' by the Aphex Twin and cities like London and Sheffield as a ground for the sound, Global Tracks displays how breakbeats should sound in 2019. The music is mostly influenced by Jungle, but also by Footwork and Dancehall. The roots lie shallow but the phantom behind this music don't give up with trying to recreate the nineties straight up, instead he/she develops the legacy from all the best and most drug marinated DJ:s from England circa 1995.

Breakbeat has a new vanguard in this mysterious shadow crawler that we know almost nothing about, but rumor has it Global Tracks is locked up with the machines under ground somewhere in Vastra Gotaland in Sweden working on new broke up beats, ready to surface when the time is right for more, deep and ganja oozing dance music!

Essential reissue to launch new the Craigie Knowes sublabel 'Wormhole Wisdom'. Jamie Odell's 'The Loxodrome E.P.' has been sought after for years by collectors. The Discogs sharks have made a pretty penny, but their hour is up! Italian label Insane Code Recordings delivers his debut vinyl release presenting 4 of its most representative artists: label-owner Max Sensation opens the release with his A1 "Ultraviolet", a space ambience introduces to an unconventional beat that is the driving force of the track, supported by an acid sequence. A2 is for "Cristian Esse - Lorelai": 303 heavy bassline and strong psychedelic beat with female-vocal to give an human soul to the track. On side B1 young italian artist MBM presents "Blind", a solid groove with driven percussions into a dark ambience synth that makes it a pure hypno-banger track.
