To celebrate a century of outstanding releases, LNOE drops its first compilation; tracks selected by Sasha's invited guest remixers. Radio Slave, Frankey & Sandrino and Locked Groove step up for their label debut, while Fur Coat, John Monkman, Dubspeeka, BAILE and VONDA7 return.

After almost 8 years as a platform for new and established artists as well as for Sasha's own productions, Last Night On Earth is a global success. Label showcases sell out at lightning speed, including Miami and most recently ADE boat parties, which will live on in the memories of lucky attendees, and in January at Tulum.

Meanwhile the Last Night On Earth podcast has accrued a loyal following who eagerly await each month's new opportunity to experience Sasha's handpicked live sets. LNOE 100 honours both the artists and the fans who have made the label an industry leader.

With each artist picking which to remix, the compilation is packed with inspired new collaborations. Seminal cuts such as the very first LNOE release, Sasha's 'Cut Me Down', reworked by Radio Slave is interspersed with cult favourites, like Henry Saiz 'I Can Feel it Coming' which VONDA7 takes to new heights, and Locked Groove's rework of Max Cooper 'Careless'.

Primarily known as Codex Empire, Mahk Rumbae slides his Antechamber project over to Horo for an EP of crushing, relentless stagger-tech.

Following on from his s/t Antechamber debut for Instruments Of Discipline, Rift sees the artists minimalist brutality refined into an even more dominant language. From the nightmare grinds of Dagger Complex and Rift to the sinister rhythm of Repudiation and the conjuring ambience that emanates from Arch of Hysteria, the Rift EP offers an intimidating assemblage of doom laden sonics. The limited vinyl edition of this release is a 10" cut onto a 12" plate.

Ghost Ships, the label, will be a non expected music mirage that its planned to appear and then be vanished . This is the first release out of five, with a limited run of only 100 copies, each one of the releases will accompanied with a series of artworks in which we interpret as space figures created by artist Meesh Nah. The first cut is made by Butch Sundance and Joone, sticking to a just hardware and analogue process manifesto on the X side 'Star Meltdown' hypnotic and atmospheric, arpeggiated melodies driving the track from start to end with a solid beat. Y side 'Planet X' house flavoured track with distinctive synth stabs, percussion and piano breakdown.

"Brighton-based producer Caldera joins up with Boogie Box Records offering four broken techno cuts titled '13 17' this November.
Originally from Germany, Caldera has been making steady progress within the off kilter techno scene whether as a resident at Brighton's Patterns, or releases on WNCL Recordings, Noorden and his Riviera Club label. His first production outing of the year so far, Caldera now joins Boogie Box's ever impressive roster of artists, following quality releases from the likes of STL, Cain, Causa and Appleblim, not to mention remixes from Shed, Forest Drive West, Fold, Jonas Friedlich and Juniper.
Kicking things off, 'Akman's Rhythm' deploys organic rolling percussion fused harmoniously over the intricate, outlandish melody and fluid bass line whilst 'Old Hands' delivers spaced-out, leftfield drums balanced with soothing resonance and warm vibrations.
'Anaconda Legs' offers dusty grooves throughout, keeping it deep and fluid through subtle, fluttering synths and hypnotic oscillations. Finally, 'A Moment To Breathe' pitches things down, incorporating a darker atmosphere as unfolding chugged out pulsations join recondite ambience."

Token starts off 2019 with aplomb, courtesy of a new three-tracker from Inigo Kennedy. Entitled Trajectory, this set of compositions continues to cement his legacy as an innovator who has been evolving his own style for more than two decades now. Starting off with the thwacking title track, Kennedy balances bright melodies and ethereal chords alongside rhythms that stir long after the track has faded away. "Tone Poem" is methodically coy around emboldened percussive storytelling that takes center-stage up until its last moments. "Turmoil" is a sci-fi trip that beams down to the dancefloor with thundering drums.

M.A.D. is a collaboration of the Funkroom DJs and producers Moxx And Digilog.

After having contributed single tracks for YOSHI005 and WWM003 they subsequently announced their first EP together as M.A.D.

Their 'Sanset EP' consists of four drum-oriented House/Techno hybrids which, through their cutting-edge production, stand the test of time and work very well with contemporary dancefloor-minded club music alike.

Bambounou makes his debut on Whities with this three track 12â. Taking inspiration from a collection of music that was made specifically for his fantastic set at Freerotation in 2017, the tracks all showcase the Parisian's flair for minimalistic rhythms and groove. It's music that feels most at home in that heads down part of the dance, where it pulls everyone into the same collective consciousness. The sleeve was designed by Kia Tasbihgou and Alex McCullough and features a photograph taken by Oskar Proctor. The tracks were mastered by Neel at Enisslab.

The fourth release of BASSIANI was dedicated to various artists. Starting from Cassegrain's track "Departure Seven", we encounter a completely new and unfamiliar artist Ersatz Olfolks with his track "Straight Road". Hector Oaks strikes with old school atmosphere by "Move on Circles, Walk on Lines" , while Thomas Hessler competes the circle with melancholic vibe by his track "Memories".

Inner Surface Music is proud to present the next release from Ewa Justka. Ewa Justka is one of the most exciting new experimental artists on the scene for the last few years. She has been paving the way with her unique take on techno, noise, experimental and power electronics. Not only satisfied with making music but also a designer and maker of excellent DIY synthesisers, effects and sequencers under her Optotronics company.

'Jelly Tits Everywhere' kicks off proceedings with a contorted acidic workout, 303 baselines are wrapped around distorted, swung drums creating elasticated envelopes before the hardcore kick drum pummels us into submission at a frenetic tempo. 'Oh How Edgy' drops the tempo but retains the intensity this time Ewa´s approach strips everything back to the backbone of the groove creating a deeply hypnotic techno track that sucks you into a whirling vacuum.

'You Are Really Repeating Yourself Indeed (KRTM Remix)' KRTM is another young artist who has been pushing his harder edge techno sound of the last two years. His remix does not disappoint he delivers a powerful version of 'YARYI' with a remix thats pushes both his love for hardcore and the Belgium rave sound. 'You Are Repeating Yourself Indeed' hyperactive and twitchy synth lines weave and play off each other in this twisted workout. Instantly drawing the listener closer as the track builds and builds to a monstrous crescendo of mutated acid.

Italian club staple and producer Kaiser turns to MOC for his Debris EP, showcasing three agile Techno slices and a remix from Exploration Records chief Johannes Volk.

'Parachute' opens up the release in a spellbinding, energy-heavy manner, with its whirlwind groove and lead taking no prisoners. Next up is 'Debris', showing off an equally energetic prowess channeling zig zagging synths and a more melodic, yet still heavy strung bassline. 'Esplosione Di Colori', translated as 'color explosion' aptly translates into sound what is usually only possible for a paint canvas. A lighthearted, arpegio-ridden track in original, Johannes Volk works his magic, turning it into a versatile piece of raw, dubby Techno.

Serena Butler returns to the fore with an EP for Stroboscopic Artefacts. 'We Want Neither Clean Hands Nor Beautiful Souls' is a four track recording of Butler's personal juncture with the Queerverse and his engagement in queer politics, an elaboration on the alternate freedoms and minimal politics of alienation introduced with her 2016 release on Eerie. By bringing her mission of inclusion and diversity to Lucy's Berlin based imprint S>H/E has found a kindred spirit in the pursuit of, what SA describes as, 'an incessant accretion of new ideas and new formal elements that must transcend any self-limiting expectations of genres or cliques'. This release embodies the shared revere that Butler and SA have for the subversive power of techno; or, as Butler says, 'the explicit, organized effort to repurpose technologies for progressive gender political ends'.

The EP's path begins with the opener 'If Nature Is Unjust, Change Nature', a shadowy crescendo of whispered rhythms and minimal-synth leitmotivs from alt-clones of Rrose and Second Woman grafted memories. 'Globular Hymen' is the club supernova of the lot; an interstellar blizzard of layered arpeggios, which hit like the wrath of a pantheon of angry goddesses. 'Science is not an expression but a suspension of gender' lays on the feel of afterlife, a dubbed-out lullaby between lo-fi drums and subtle interference patterns of noise. This is the sound of Butler getting between you and your ears; reminding you to step back from certainty and imperative judgments. Last but not least, 'And with sexism came disparity' unleashes a vocal swarm of declaration and rebellion. Despite the straight-forward title, this is a true Demdikesterian mutant-techno stepper, with neither clean words nor a beautiful soul.

Ostgut Ton's Berghain mix series returns with volume 08 by Fiedel. Available on 12' vinyl are four new exclusive tracks by Electric Indigo, Stefan Rein, rRoxymore, Boris & Fiedel.
Few figures in Berlin dance music can claim as lasting and multifaceted a presence as longtime Berghain resident Fiedel. A former resident at Berghain forerunner OstGut, the veteran DJ and producer is known by heads for his decades-long influence on left-field techno and bass music in the German capital, particularly as one half of celebrated production duo MMM with Errorsmith, and co-operator of the legendary Wax Treatment parties together with Mark Ernestus of Hard Wax and Basic Channel fame. Indeed, Fiedel's broad vision of what works on the dance floor is informed by grooves both in and outside the realm of 4/4 - from, acid, electro and jungle to hip-hop, dub und breaks - all subtly present in hybrid forms on previous releases for Ostgut Ton and his own Fiedelone and Fiedeltwo imprints. So it makes sense that the four exclusive tracks he has curated for the 8th edition of the Berghain mix series radiate the same off-kilter, bass-heavy and deep techno sensibility.
Veteran Viennese producer, activist and DJ Electric Indigo kicks blasts things off with 'Registers', employing her trademark dubby and sample-heavy rhythmic constructions, minor chords and distorted hats. Driving and atmospheric, 'Registers' sets the bar high not only for the 12-inch but also as the explosive opener for the mix itself. This is followed on A2 by PURE-TRAXX founder Stefan Rein, whose deep, hypnotic 'Panther' transcends techno-tool status with entrancing siren melodies and psychedelic builds and releases.
French-born, Berlin-based producer rRoxymore takes a sonic left turn on B-Side opener 'Tropicalcore', where bleepy, distorted and complex drum patterns recall both classic DMZ and later post-dubstep funk. Finally, B2 belongs to Fiedel himself, who teams up with fellow veteran Berghain resident and Berlin techno stalwart Boris on 'Div'hain'. The track teems with with bubbling bass-lines, cowbells and claps shaped by modular synths, as well as elements of electro and boogie - but jacks hard. It's a fitting closer to one of the mix series' most eclectic 12-inches - made by one of Berghain's most fearless residents.

Welcome to the richly rhythmic and deeply esoteric world of Zaliva-D. Based in the Chinese capital of Beijing, they've been circling the country's borders for more than a decade due to the extreme difficulty of streaming music there. Zaliva-D consists of musician Li Chao and Aisin-Gioro Yuanjin, who's responsible for their stunning live visuals. We're very proud to present Forsaken, their 4th album, but first ever vinyl release. Wrapped around a core of gut wrenchingly ferocious kicks and haunting vocals, these tracks possess a mantra-like quality and drown the listener into a world of Chinese and South East Asian textures. Forsaken, mastered by Wouter Brandenburg, is their most well-written, organic and esoteric record to date, showing a more fragile, sensitive side. Soon Zaliva-D will perform on European soil, accompanied by this Knekelhuis debut.

Amish Boy a.k.a. Sküge (not to be confused with Skudge) is Hugues Croibien, a thirty seven year old Belgian who has experimented with electronic music since his teens. With a diet of Seal Phüric, The Prodigy, Autechre and Unit Moebius stoking his primordial fire, Croibien began to align with the rage that exists in the Breakcore genre. Already an addict of reggae and dub at this time, Croibien decided to create some cut-up Raggacore with his brand new Ableton Live 3 software.

Meanwhile with friends, Croibien created 'Break n 'Brol', a non-lucrative association which tried to promote alternative electronic music in Liège where he lived. They premiered some Bassline stars "Kanji Kinetic" and "Squire of Gothos" on the Belgian scene, alongside other alternative electronic composers and musicians like Subjex, Ebola, Mustard Gunn and Herrmutt Lobby. The fellowship decided to create a free net label to release compilations with the BNB party artists.

The rough style techno resurgence over the last few years has precipitated a metamorphosis; Sküge became Amish Boy - more glitchy than techno, more offbeat than acid and more ambivalent than industrial. Although heavily invested for two decades now, 'Laika test Project' on Power Vacuum will be Croibien's first vinyl release, with a follow-up already in the pipeline.

Following on from 'Dimensional Space' on Echospace (Detroit), dub techno legend CV313, aka Stephen Hitchell offers up his second album, 'Glass City Sessions' on Minimood, featuring five profoundly immersive tracks that come as a double vinyl release only. CV313's signature dub techno sound has been a blueprint for the genre and is created on vintage hardware, all sounds, static, tones and paranormal occurrences are left in to render it as atmospheric as it is.

The five expansive recordings that make up the abum are actually based on live recordings from a DEMF aftershow night back in 2000 in Detroit. The music is a bit creepy and so was the experience of this live show' says Stephen Hitchell, It was an old dingy warehouse about 10 miles out of downtown Detroit, right next to the now abandoned Eloise asylum, but there are many stories of it still being haunted'. Indeed, that theme of haunted locations around Detroit echoes through the five tracks and makes them a truly cinematic experience.

Opening things up on the first record is the brilliantly dark 'Belle Isle Symphonics,' twelve frosty minutes of hunched-over drums and rattling metal sounds that place you in the centre of a large abandoned building. 'Masonic Mystic' is much sparser and more eerie, with watery chords and warm static suspending you in an unsettling calm atmosphere, but one that always feel like something strange is around the corner.

On the second record the superb 'Stars Above Elmwood' lifts the shadowy mood somewhat with more airy dub techno drums and pensive chords rippling out in all directions. It's warm, expansive, and utterly absorbing for more than 13 minutes. 'Two Way Inn' continues the trip in fine style with gentle chords and barely there drums, comforting white noise and distant pads all sinking you into a state of meditation before the masterful 'Eloise's Theme' arrives, an ambient-ish masterpiece with horizontal chords gently moving up and down the scales to trap you in a soothing state, but always with an undercurrent of foreboding.

This new album by CV313 is deep story telling dub techno of the highest order.

Perc Trax completes its duo of Bitter Music remix EPs with this three tracker that aims directly for the dance floor. Opening up proceedings is Dax J, who has enjoyed a meteoric rise over the last few years and who here serves up an irresistible take on 'Unelected' fueled by the driving energy his productions and sets have become famous for. Next up Stroboscopic Artefacts boss Lucy layers shifting textures over popping kick drums for a version of 'Wax Apple' that perfectly blends form and function. Lastly Matrixxman, himself another of the key break out artists of the last few years, takes control of 'Rat Run' and morphs in into a rolling drum track built on rolling toms and topped off with dubbed out elements of Perc's original mix.

Ukrainian Techno artist Yan Cook is swiftly turning into one of Planet Rhythm's usual suspects. The follow up to this years XX LP comes in the form of a 12'' package called ''Loophole EP'' 4 deep and dark Techno cuts that represent the Yan Cook sound to the fullest. Expect swells, cleverly placed Arps that are all part of his rhythm driven signature sound.

A strong desire to propel music into the next sonic century leads Ae:ther, gifting us with the futuristic 'Stardancer' on Crosstown Rebels.

The EP opens with Stardancer - an emotive and deeply mesmeric track that weaves together a twinkling and trance-like rhythm with a driving techno beat. On the flip, Ultravox builds with intensity, creating a cinematic ambience, balancing ethereal synths with a pounding beat.

Ae:ther has been an explorer of sound for many years. His study of sound design whilst living in Milan, enables him to add an extra layer of depth to his productions - experimental and ambient, yet still able to entice dancers to the floor. He's had music signed to Tale Of Us' Afterlife imprint and his productions have attracted the attention of Damian Lazarus who commissioned him to remix his single All I Need with the Ancient Moons. Lazarus has also signed Ae:ther's debut album. 2019 is shaping up to be a big year for the Berlin-based producer with a new release on Afterlife in the pipeline as well as plans to unveil his spectacular live-show to the world.

UK South coast hardware maniac Chris Moss Acid turns his attention towards '92 style hardcore oldskool breaks and rave. Getting serious props from the likes of Truss, Anja Schneider, Colin Dale, De Sluwe Vos, Lauren Flax, Chrissy, Photonz, Boxia, Justin Robertson, Volvox, Alienata, Skream, and loads more. Vinyl is limited to 303 copies, hand numbered edition.

The charmed ascent of Eagles & Butterflies, and his intertwined fate with Innervisions, reaches its most fully-realised moment. From his acclaimed Secret Weapons appearances - 'The Story That Never Ends' in 2015, and 2016's 'X' - the British producer has further refined his layered, complex sound world, and set the underground ablaze with a series of masterful sketches.

Koehler was hurled headlong flaming from the ethereal sky. This is his first offering for the ESP Institute. Side A recalls the hazy memory of an ear-worm chant heard over a decade ago on the streets of Thailand, a melody that since haunted the artist and has finally been exorcised by his own hand in the shape of 'Melencolia V'. Somewhere between an enchanted bashment and a sailor's watering hole, Koehler found a gargantuan kick drum that lands solely on the 4, slammed it together with a wide pulsing bassline and brutalized Dancehall snare, then laced it all up with his elusive synth melody. Add to this a generous sprinkle of finely-ground cosmic dust and we're all tripping the light fantastic. On the flip side, the artist buckles up for a rough and rapid-paced journey with 'Invidiosa' — a relentless snare scrapes, gouges and corrodes over 7 minutes, coupling with a simplistic bass loop and swiftly marauding through a demented assembly line, accumulating various nuts and bolts of instrumentation along the way — an undeniable dancefloor exciter for those hours when the club becomes unhinged, dancing becomes raving, and slightly more audacious folk can channel their inner truth. These two songs will have you question your existence.

Steve lud Luke erstmals Anfang der 90er Jahre zu seiner legendären LOST-Partyreihe in London ein, was zu gegenseitigen Remixes auf zukunftsweisende Techno-Labels wie Cosmic Records und Nova Mute führte. Rund eine Dekade später - im Jahr 2000 - befreundete sich der gebürtige New Yorker Dave mit Steve, nachdem er ihn eingeladen hatte, im Club Limelight in Manhattan zu spielen. Im Laufe der Zeit kam es zwischen Dave und Luke zu zahlreichen Begegnungen, aber erst im Jahr 2009 festigte sich ihre Beziehung und führte schließlich zu einer Koproduktion Daves von Lukes frühem L.B. Dub Corp-Material (- Roller', 2013).

Die gemeinsame Saat für LSD wurde im Juli 2015 im Moulin Rouge, Paris während eines gemeinsamen Gigs anlässlich Functions Berghain 07-Mixes gepflanzt. Dort tauschte das Trio Gedanken zu einer Kollaboration aus, die die Grenze zwischen DJing und Live-Performance verwischen würde, während jeder von ihnen separate Stücke und Spuren manipuliert und das Ganze unvorhersehbar (de)konstruiert. Ursprünglich gedacht als einmaliger Auftritt anlässlich eines Berghain-Closing-Sets am 17. Juli 2016 beschlossen die drei später, seinen Entwurf lysergischer Maschinenmusik mit der ersten 3-Track 12' weiterzuentwickeln.

- Process 1' fackelt nicht lange: übersteuerte, vielschichtige Kicks und Hi-Hats setzen unvermittelt ein; eine kräftige, malmende Synth-Figur windet sich um entfernt klingende Sirenen, bevor der Rhythmus Stück für Stück dekonstruiert wird. - Process 2' nimmt ähnlich schnell Fahrt auf undentfaltet eine Sogkraft aus schrillen Drones und Alarmsignalen über das gesamte Klangspektrum hinweg. Synkopierte Hi-Hats und Synthfilter öffnen und schließen sich, bevor schließlich die volle Weitung erreicht ist. In - Process 3' wird eine musikalisch breitere Landschaft mit Bleeps gefüllt, bevor sich LSD schließlich klanglich gedämpfteren Gebieten zuwenden. Dort greifen Synthesizer-Arpeggios das Tempo wieder auf, bevor das Stück in einem langgezogenen Ausklang mündet.

Als Ganzes betont Process halluzinogene und gestaltwandelnde Klangelemente, ohne sich auf das weiter gefasste Konzept des Trips zu konzentrieren. Stattdessen liefern Luke, Steve und Dave ihre Interpretation stroboskopischer Intensität auf dem Gipfel psychedelischer Erlebnisse - durchsetzt mit Momenten hypnotischer und atonaler Melodien, so treibend wie bezaubernd.

To say the past 2 years have been busy for Peggy Gou would perhaps be an understatement. Prolific both in the studio and behind the decks, 2016 saw the release of no less than four EPs across three labels. Her two-part 'Art Of War' series on Rekids was interspersed with a contribution to our own 'Phonica White' series of 12's.Gou is an old regular of the store, and the result, 'Day Without Yesterday' / 'Six O Six', was a pair of offbeat club anthems that showed a funkier side on the former title and her first initial foray into vocals on the acidic latter. Following her huge landmark Ninja Tune release, Peggy gets to release one of her earlier favourites - a subtle deep house groover that comes complete with a remix from one of her favourite DJs, Ge-ology. The Baltimore native relocated to New York City in the 80s where he has found acclaim for over two decades, however he remains somewhat of a mystery. Over the course of his career, he's worked with the likes of Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Jill Scott, De La Soul, Yukimi Nagano (Little Dragon), Jem and even a young Tupac Shakur. After years of producing dominantly hip-hop tempo releases, he defiantly returned in 2015 with the well-received dance floor monster 'Moon Circuitry' on Theo Parrish's esteemed Sound Signature imprint. Although his roots in composing 4-on-the-floor dance tempo music dates as far back as his earliest hip-hop beats, this seemingly 'new' direction boldly challenged expectations based on his previous body of work yet his very first production appearance came in the form of a collaboration with the Baltimore-based house music legends, The Basement Boys, who used one of his tracks for their 'Those Guys' moniker in 1993.Here, he takes Peggy's laidback track and adds his own touch, taking the initial riff and layering several lines of groovy kicks before introducing a sharp synth stab. Harder-hitting than its predecessor, Ge-ology's edit is a supremely danceable cut, and better suited to the late-night floor than Peggy's more mellow original .Artwork as always is supplied by the talented Pedro Carvalho de Almeida.

Produced at different stages over the course of an entire year, the Conscious EP is the sound of two producers at the peak of their powers. In one corner is Rossko, the longstanding FUSE resident, best known for his knack for unearthing cutting-edge house and techno sounds— and a man who values a quality-over-quantity approach to production. In the other is Per Hammar, the Sweden-born, Berlin-based resident of Malmo's much-respected Kiloton party and the owner of the Dirty Hands and 10YEARS labels. Rossko's second release on Fuse-affiliated labels and the first collaboration between the pair, this stifling hot three-tracker has already won support from label boss Enzo Siragusa and Seb Zito, with both DJs using the record to great effect in recent sets for Mixmag.

We kick off with the brilliantly trippy and relentless strands of 'Unconscious'. A hypnotic cut that's hypnotic, playful and thoroughly unpredictable, it showcases both producers' knack for high class tech-house with some panache. A fascinating sign of things to come, it gets us underway in seriously auspicious fashion.

Middle track 'Subbconscious' is one that's been lighting up dancefloors for a while now, with both long-standing Fuse founder Enzo Siragusa and long-time Fuse member Seb Zito both using the track to great effect at Fuse's recent 10 year celebrations. A perc-heavy track that's imbued with some wonderful tribal samples, the atmosphere is duly brought up a notch here by the time the track heads for deeper pastures. A thoroughly engaging and unique proposition, 'Subconscious' is very much the sound of an impressive and reciprocal collaborative effort.

Rounding off the release is the suitably-named 'Dubbsconcious'. A nimble, quick-footed gem that again showcases the pair's understanding (as well as their love for off-kilter motifs), this one is all about the relentlessness of the groove. A canny DJ tool that should keep the night ticking over at a consistent pace, it closes an eclectic release in impressive fashion.
