Reset Robot has given us two tracks that are absolutely on fire. 'Rebellion' is a slow burning, after-hours groover that packs a punch and harnesses percussion elements to the full effect. 'The Hanging Gardens Of Babylon' is a lot more of a melancholic offering and leads into a beautiful crescendo to finish any night off in style.

The Saved 100 tour began at Output in New York on January 3rd before heading off to Mexico for a stellar Saved showcase at this year's BPM festival. Tresor Records is glad to present the Disintegrating Sand EP, first release by the legendary Mike Parker on the label.

Parker has been an influential figure in the electronic music scene for more than twenty years, throughout which he has established an arsenal of unique sonic trademarks, produced and modulated with high precision.

True to Parker's traditional style, Disintegrating Sand is both driving and hypnotic. The EP's title track is especially evocative of Parker's penchant for analogue sound: raw oscillations cascade over a highly reverbed bassline that periodically punctuates the track. Though the electricity that Parker introduces on the A side intensifies and expands in "Angels in Cages", "Gyroscopic Precession" is perhaps the apogee of the build up and the most driving track on the EP. The track is nuanced in its steady introduction of sweeping effects that arch over heavy kicks and an abrasive midrange.

Parker's abstractions of sound and texture are immediately recognizable to contemporary audiences, and his latest EP marks a particularly thrilling addition to a rich discography.

Having earned himself the status as one of Madrid's hottest techno-exports, Regal is back on Figure with a special EP comprising both new works from him plus two creative re-interpretations by none other than Radio Slave. Original and remix rub shoulders on the record's A-side, both revolving around its enticing vocal hook. While Regal employs a skipping beat and skittish percussion to conjure up an air of mystery, Radioslave crawls down further the rabbit's hole and uncovers the track's slumbering lunatic qualities. On the flipside Regal is back in full control, albeit this time operating in a framework a tad more housy than usual: snappy snares slice up the bubbling acid-line on the fast whirling while it's eponymus vocal sample ironically asks 'Did you see it'. Equally aptly-titled Slab barges right in, wielding hefty drums and a bassline that oozes groove out of every loop. As part of the digital release, the EP comes with another atmospheric Radioslave-rework of From Other Sounds, leaning on the ambient and heavy on the subs - one for the headz!

It's time to have Fun in the Murky again as the 4th EP arrives on platters courtesy of JoeFarr. This record, bearing Joe's daughter's stylized name has been something of a special project here at FitM. Originally intended for vinyl release on Turbo Recordings of Montreal I couldn't stand it when I found the vinyl release was no longer planned. I got in touch with both Joe and the kind folks at Turbo and have licensed it for this vinyl release. It truly is a record I believe in.

Starting off with IDOMTYK and ending with Ftone it's a brutally honest look at the dancefloor. one side is covered with spastic rave stabs and vocal hooks and the other takes the early 90's approach to solid electronics. All in all it's how we define Techno in these parts. I hope you enjoy it --on vinyl!-- as much as we do.

The second serving from Schmorgasbord brings together two relatively disparate and unrelated artists, but who both share a uniquely twisted approach to making music. S-Max has been doing his thing for some time, running legendary home all things bizarre in house and techno, Boogizm, and releasing a special kind of groove on labels such as Telegraph, 7th City and Karloff. His original track, 'Ms. Rosen Dub', swaggers and sways with the spirit of classic Yorkshire bleeps and bass. The groove is house, but the spirit of adventure is most definitely techno. His remix of Spatial's 'Corti' takes a very different approach, taking a rolling, jungle-like approach to dubstep and nailing it to the groove with stabbing bass notes. Spatial leapt onto the bass music radar late 2008 with his shadowy Infrasonics imprint, and quickly snapped heads with his crisp, refined approach to 2-step rhythms. Since then he's done things on his own terms, only releasing for himself and mutating his sound over a series of 10's. 'Corti' perfectly demonstrates Spatials unconventional tendencies, lurching and buckling around a perfectly honed splatter of beats, off-centre synths and delirious vocal snippets. Meanwhile on his remix of S-Max, Spatial flips the script once again with a stomping, swung techno angle that hammers the original into an uptempo, fist-pumping banger.

Jericho One, the Creme Organization off shoot, is back with a new EP from Ebony vs 'R' entitled Real Truth. It features three cuts in all, one by Ebony and two by 'R', and all them are intoxicating techno affairs. Continuing in the label's tradition of making modern sounds that draw on breaks and bass, it is another fine EP after great offerings from BNJMN and Noface amongst others. Ebony goes first with Real Truth and offers a track that is both punchy and powerful thanks to its raw and thumping drums, but spiritual and serve thanks to the pained and soul infused vocal wails up top. Glistening glass pads and over sized hi hats add to the intensity of this classy rave banger. 'R' then serves up Focus, eight minutes of freaky and hypnotic techno with creepy voices moving about the space as distorted kicks and droning reverb brings a physical feel. It's intense and dark and then comes Colossus, a breakbeat driven track with heavenly pads making for a grand and atmospheric headspace. Cosmic signifiers and far off pads add to the serenity of it all and will leave you with both a heavy heart and a stomping foot.

After showcasing the debut releases from The High On Wye Quintet (Magic Mountain High, Soulphiction and Steevio) and Monoak, the Freerotation label returns with a various artists 12' featuring four more artists intrinsically linked by the annual festival. Anthony Child, aka Surgeon, has been a regular fixture since first appearing at Freerotation in 2011. His recent exploration of modular synthesis and use of the Buchla Music Easel has found a home in the ambient yurt at the festival, and equally has manifested in album projects such as 2015's Electronic Recordings From Maui Jungle Vol 1. Unconscious Fearless Determination' follows on from this more experimental, less dancefloor-focused side to Child's work, while still pulsing with the techno fundamentals that quickly defined him back in the mid '90s. Duckett hails from North Wales, and has been a key part of the Freerotation fabric since the beginning of the event. After some releases on Mindtours, MindYourHead and Sthlmaudio back in the mid-'00s, his music has started to reach a new audience through releases on UntilMyHeartStops and a clutch of lauded live performances. Breaks My Heart When I Remember That Day' captures the alien synthesis and emotional heft that singles Duckett out as such a remarkable artist. Steevio is the co-founder of Freerotation and Mindtours Records, responsible for a huge swathe of techno releases reaching back to the '90s. As well as his releases on Mindtours, he has recently appeared on UntilMyHeartStops and in collaboration with Pev on Schmorgabsord, and is set to appear on Russ Gabriel's new label Rivers Of Groove. With its expressive swells of off-kilter melody and snaking drum lines, Pendulum' continues the thread of exploration Steevio has been following on his journey into experimental modular techno. Tom Ellis has been prolifically issuing forth material in a soul-enriched space in between house, techno and funk for more than ten years. From running the acclaimed Trimsound label to releasing albums and singles on Telegraph, Archipel, Hartchef Discos and more recently Ethereal Sound to name but a few, Tom's recorded work and immersive live performances continue to reach out to new moods and timbres. As A Take' finds Tom at his most reflective, layering on dubby effects and organic instrumentation in a truly meditative end to the EP.

Other than thousands of hardened workers elbow to elbow, pounding sheets of metal, we're in a dead zone - an imaginary sphere extending miles in every direction, devoid of life. Volume and vibration drove away all that could sense it, with the remainder of the food chain following.

In municipal work yards thousands of men and women (panel beaters in this case) are pegged out in a grid, each allocated a 120cm square. Amenities amount to uncovered channels from each work station, feeding into larger channels which facilitate the exodus of waste, like an irrigation system in reverse. However a lone figures' tributary remains unblemished. Yard Elders claim he hasn't relinquished solid nor liquid, neither eaten, slept, or spake a single word since his presence permeated sector eight. Preposterous this claim undoubtedly is, it was only talk of his strike rate climbing to nine hits per second that pushed the Elders' credibility beyond repair.

At work in his booth, this man's worn, nub-like hammers thrash away as though their true destiny lay a foot beneath the steel. It is his rhythm alone that welcomes the dawn, and continues on to exceed the standard work-day by God knows how long. The question being: what fuel then does this man-machine require to punctuate time's passing so relentlessly

Somewhere in the sprawl an inaction sparks a pause. Metal workers exponentially drop out of the industrial orchestra, stillness rippling outwards til the whole yard rests agape. The figure everybody now beholds bears aloft a mighty hammer that with the inevitability of death, comes arcing down while impoverished lungs screech into the air "CHANCELLOR!!!"

Clip Gebre EP Abstract Places Audio Ubiquitous Barcelona producer Edu Tarradas keeps on gaining a wellearned reputation as Clip. Tarradas was invited to the 2011 Red Bull Music Academy in Madrid and has provided vigorous releases to such labels as Discomaths, Struments, Classicworks and FINA White, where the pounding "Brotherhoood EP" was released to be supported by serious selectors as Ben Sims, Truncate, Anja Schneider, XXXY, Throwing Snow, Skream, Luke Solomon and Simon Baker.

Now, Clip returns to action with the first release of his own imprint (along with fellow Barcelona producer Xixa) Abstract Places Audio. This Gebre EP confirms him as a true bassmaster in his own genre always providing emotional response to the floor twisting techno codes with a house groove with powerful basslines that are the spine of the development of the track. On these four new tracks, Tarradas shows many different faces as a producer and showing the influence of ambient and dub on his music. Although this is not strictly a club record, A side brings enough energy to keep the floor packed, always with a dark hint that keeps things coherent and make them rise over the average DJ tool. Risks taken in his 100% analogical live sets now pay Tarradas the reward of a more complete musicianship with more drama and deepness added to his compositions.

Opener "Gebre" ("Rime" in Catalan) sets the mood: dark, acute techno from minute one with noisy frequencies that graze the track like airplanes over the dancefloor. Mysterious "Boira" ("Mist") mixes deep echoes with frozen ambient layers and distant clapping in a cinematic track. On the other side,
"Miratge" ("Mirage") keeps on adding frozen and distant layers over a collection of brilliant beats that seem to grow and speed up endlessly. "Zud" closes the pack as an ambient track full of tension. Avoiding almost completely the influence of house that propelled his music in previous releases and adding a masterly dark tone, Clip excels in creating a coherent and haunting atmosphere in this debut EP from his new label. An excellent opener for a label that will become everyone's favourite.

Growing up in New Jersey, Physical Therapy later moved to Chicago, then New York, before finally settling in Berlin where he's quickly built a profile as a stand out DJ/producer.
Baktadust comes in the form of two tracks: the fast tempo main mix that combines peppy piano riffs and metallic effects, as well as a slower fried mix featuring cleaner chords and a sultry bassline.Push Me then demonstrates robust percussion, a rumbling low-end and eerie tremolo atmospherics before shadowy echoes and off kilter kicks conclude the release in Spasm.

Stephan Hinz is back for seconds and this time he's flying solo with his Throwl EP. These are two massive dance floor tunes that will surely find their way into every room scenario for the foreseeable future.

On the A side is the EP title track, 'Throwl' and Hinz does it again. Much like the huge hit 'Doch' from Hinz & Ruhmhardt's Panther EP earlier this summer, he's laid the groundwork with a giant kick drum, rolling bass and crisp hi hats, while a warm, distorted organ line relentlessly works into crescendo it never fully reaches. 'Throwl' creates a massive amount of energy by never going over the edge, but taking it right there. Another brilliant display of how real restraint works magic on a crowd.

For the flip side, Hinz goes peak time psychedelic with 'Ignite'. Evod, Oisel and Syntaxism return with their "E.O.S." collaboration. Luna Crescente is composed by two strong tracks that have different appearance, but same nature. Orbita x is a slow track that contains granulated, ferrous sounds, accompanied by a pulsating oscillator and various sharp ambient sounds. Orbita y is a strong tune in which, almost during all the time, there are an intense groove and a sequenced modal oscillator.-----------

Young impetuousness joins old school wisdom to create the Vol of Chinese Laundry Records, a minded and Roland based EP from I.vy and Solid State, who gave his old school touch to this release.

A dynamic EP , british inspired , with a strong impact , both on the listener and on the dancefloor.
The synths , particularly acids but also electro, serve as a guideline in a swinging journey , which rises directly from the stomach.
The balance between the sounds , all Roland based , is pleasant , and the structure is full and essential. Drum, kick and hihat are always clear, and develop in parallel to the groove, very engaging in all three tracks, alternating emotions and abstract delusions .

On side A , 36 Oaths is the most impetuous track : it consists of a deep kick , a clap, and a self-centered synth minded which give a compelling rhythm to the track .
In White Lotus the hihat are sharp and add themselves to the acid synths, which mark the full overview of the meaning of the track , quiet in the first half , rising in the second . On the B side , I.vy On Acid offers a durable and nice groove.

JET SET and CCCP could be viewed as a continuation of Kareem's CASPIAN GOLD EP. It shares the broken structure however adding more detailed and complex arrangements to the approach of TECHNOID PERCUSSIVE NOIZCORE. Both tracks break a little with the more static direction of Caspian Gold and especially Jet Set emphasises on the power of continues modulations with skull breaking precision resulting in merciless sonic depravation.

Monika Kruse's label Terminal M was founded in the year 2000 and 13 years later it's now time to celebrate the 100. release. And we are very glad that our closest friends Andhim, Yousef, Paul C & Paolo Martini, Pele & Shawnecy and Darlyn Vlys celebrate with us with an exclusive track for this release. DJ/Producer/Professor/Gardener... Den Hague's Overdose is the absolute shit, in our books. This is another must have record from a key figure in the West Coast's (of Holland that is) underground scene. And we didn't even mention Murder Capitol yet... DON.
DJ Overdose made his way to NYC for a long trip somewhere along 2003 or 2004. I had already been collecting his records he did with Ingmar Pauli under the Novamen moniker for some time and his solo work on Murder Capital. With delusions of granduer after hanging with Overdose through his stay in NYC I had asked him to do a record for a quickly failing hip hop imprint I was involved with. He complied, but the record was never meant to be at this time as the label went by the wayside. Eventually in 2006 we got in a van and toured the States, further solidifying an unholy union and a taste for TGIF Friday's. Fast forward to 2015 and we finally got our shit together and present the first DJ Overdose record for L.I.E.S. Overdose has already smashed this year with his Master Control release on Viewlexx and picks up right where he left off with these four tracks. Moody, dramatic, filled with basslines and insane drum programming, this record is meant to be played loud on the dancefloor. Check the curveball title track Hero's Gone Mental for maximum heads down in the cut vibes.

Shake The Mind' encapsulates the sound of Clouded Vision Recordings, with a long awaited single from Matt Walsh, backed with a remix from Daniel Avery.
Alongside the Radio Edit, the title track is a 7-minute trip of late night acidic techno, with a nod to Matt's new wave and EBM influences. Privacy has released well-received records with labels like Lobster Theremin and Klasse Wrecks. Now he thinks it's a good idea to enlist with the ranks of determined weirdos over at Valcrond Video. Why The Valcrond offices are replete with alluring snacks. Cornucopia-level amounts of treats, both sweet and salty. Mr. Privacy would hang around all day eating stuff and listening to Siamese Dream with Luke until the office manager who keeps things in line was forced to ask them both to leave. A deal was struck: In exchange for a continued flow of free snacks and treats, Privacy agreed to provide these 4 tracks. In the same way Privacy is unable to resist a warm chocolate croissant, no one who plays records in public for a living will be able to resist these audio delights.

Italian label Out-ER celebrates its five years of existence with an incredibly diverse double 12" compilation involving new and old artists who perfectly represent the ample house and techno sounds the label has been spreading: Juan Atkins, Orlando Voorn, Efdemin, Terrence Dixon, label owner Simone Gatto, Civilian, The Analogue Cops, Aubrey, Haiku, Irakli and Regen.

Once again, Donato Dozzy and Neels Spazio Disponibile label has come correct with a fantastic new EP, this time from Donato Dozzy in collaboration with US artist Mike Parker. Parker has a very unique and well styled brand of techno that fits in perfectly with the deeply hypnotic sounds favoured by Dozzy. Together they cook up four more brain frying cuts that are expertly crafted and meticulously sculpted.

Portuguese electronic production duo MUTUAL emerged in a shroud of mystery in March 2015 with A1017, a stunning 3-track debut EP released on Hush Hush Records. The shadowy outfit returns to the Seattle-based label for another confident and expansive 3-track EP that showcases their rough and rugged fusion of deconstructed breaks, distorted jungle, immersive house/techno, and atmospheric ambient styles. Nowakowski presents: BROR02. With the new EP featuring the track Stateunknwn on BROR Records (cat. no. BROR02), the Gothenburg based label returns with an exciting second release, as the new label presents an alluring pairing of two friends. Samuel has been in the electronic music scene since the 90's with releases on Music Man, Figure, Soma, Klap Klap and Be As One to name a few. He tries to reflect this in his first Ep on Wall Music. NYC's Adam X regains his 'floor traction as Traversable Wormhole with a contrasting slab of pounding and rolling techno truckers for Hospital Productions.
Offering his first new Traversable Wormhole productions in well over four years, it's a far more amped X than we last heard on his sluggish, sewer-dwelling ADMX-1 album, Coherent Abstractions for L.I.E.S. in 2015.
Sublight Velocities aims for the jugular up top, squaring off a bruising tattoo of militant kicks packing elephantine recoil while plasmic black drones stoically deplete the spirit, leaving us feeling like a gurning nub and the last person standing in the warehouse.
The coldly hypnotic Semiclassical Gravity rolls off the bone on the B-side, accentuating the groove's elliptical, rolling chassis with acidic subbass rubs and stepping hi-hat patterns seemingly dispersing the other side's lactic build up and steeling the dancer for what's to come.

Last release of the year for the Berlin based collective Slow Life. A great pack of dancefloor killers by the british duo 100 Hz, and the usual suspect Saverio Celestri. The veteran couple
formed by Lee Renacre and James Chapman showcase their classic sound with two unreleased tracks from the vaults, and the talented Italian dj/producer adds two of his latest productions, where displays his matured understanding of playful but emotional techno.

Spell PETS backwards to get STEP. Spell STEP forwards to find PETS going back to basics. STEP is the new concept vinyl only label from the founder of PETS, Catz N Dogz, that highlights the rawest forms and root functions of quality club music. STEP finds the fundamental groove with under-the-radar house and techno that is isn't afraid to be rough around the edges. STEP is limited promo, zero hype, and all about the music. Each new STEP will be released every four months on vinyl only.

MM AUDIO adds to its catalogue the third release signed by the Japanese artist Hironori Takahashi. The Ep consists of four tracks with kick very present, deep and hypnotic sounds, atmospheres and repetitive rhythms representing his techno.

Timedance concludes it's busy 2016 release schedule in December, courtesy of the up and coming London based producer Laksa. The A-side 'Contrasts' has been in high demand with DJs and listeners alike. A chugging b-boy kick pattern rolls along with crashing hihats and claps, before delicate, ghostly synths are faded into picture. A refreshingly unique peak time dancefloor track. On the flip Lost Code utilises low-slung house drums, with muted, cloudy melodies floating above. 'Buried' takes things even deeper. Delayed, textured percussion, is coupled with murky pads and a deep, suffocating bassline geared for the late night zoners.

London born Paul Rose's career has been intrinsically linked to Hotflush Recordings, the label he set up in 2003. Coming back full circle to his formative mid-90s days of following Colin Faver and Jeff Mills, Rose's fabric appearances have evolved over the years from bass music Fridays to the house and techno of Saturday nights.
This 10' sampler, taken from the 90th instalment of the world's leading house and techno mix series from London's renowned fabric nightclub features two tracks from fabric90 Scuba mix, both taken from Scuba's own label, Hotflush.

To celebrate Kontra-Musik Records hitting the ten-year mark, founder and label owner Ulf Eriksson has put together a collection of some of our finest releases. This has been a daunting task, for we are happy to announce that we could easily have made several very different compilations that we would have been equally contented with - there are so many superb tracks we had to leave out. This has, however, been a labour of love. Much like the label itself. Eclecticism has always been a lodestar for Ulf Eriksson, as we hope this collection gives testimony to. The label has always been moving freely between techno, house and more experimental sounds. Kontra-Musik intends to show different angels of perspective, not to convert you to a new Religion or Ideology. Being open to a broad variety of sounds and rhythms - judging them not solely by their functionality but rather by their personality - has been the Kontra-Musik way from day one. While it has been a crooked and sometimes exceedingly hard road to follow, we're hoping to carry on for several years to come. After 10 years, the label still feels meaningful and current to us - in short: it's still worth it. VERSIONS is the new project that the Spanish artists Psyk and Tadeo materialised in a new label and live set performance. The first chapter of the label presents 3 tracks by the Spanish duo: Intro - Metaphor that leads you into their cosmic atmospheres in a narrative way, Twisted Forms expands a spatial trip of synthesisers and drums and Track Two brings you to an hypnotic climax of funk

The second release on Arcing Seas by label heads Cassegrain. This new material presents the duo's very individual approach to tonality within the techno framework, combined with a subtle tribal influ-ence. Maintaining their aim, they keep things exciting for the club as well as sonically. Label info: Arcing Seas is an anagram of Cassegrain. It started out as a secret alias, releasing a couple EPs on Our Circula Sound. The secret was less well kept after the duo appeared at Berghain under this name. A year later, after deciding to start a label, it finally made sense to bring the two together.

The final DABJ release of the year marks the debut from local enigma and ROFLcopter pilot Fear-E. Four bombs to ruin everyones Xmas. Pick a winner if you can....

Creepin' in plays with the gray areas that exist between genres, contrasting with the clarity of the digital synths and over saturated analog drums. Next up Ineffekt is acid electro cut with thrashing percussion held together with 808 drums. Red Alert is the only track with a vocal. Classic Roland drums, deep sub and hardware synths mixed with the hypnotic vocal overlays make this one for the freaks. Sky Pager is slow cooked mid 90's jacking business, the kind I'm known for. 808 Trash Pile is an acid hammer of a cut with the drum and synth doing a maniacal game of call and response.More than ever I used digital and analog together creating more sinister vibes on these tracks. The tracks for me also reside in a gray area that is in between house and techno and at the same time analog and digital.

Machine soul Hi-techno funk rooted cuts from the berlin based analogue cops as xenogears. Included a space acid solid remix by Mattia Trani.

Akiko Kiyama finally returns to Tokyo's op.disc imprint after 5 years of absence.

Bjarki is from Iceland. Born and raised. Despite the fact that Bjarki is known for making extremely powerful dancefloor tracks he doesn't seem to belong to any particular genre. Something this triptych of LPs demonstrate very well. His music is at times cinematic and there's a story behind each track. Bjarki's music always has something to do with him personally, but he'd rather the listener lose themselves in the music than pay much attention to the man behind them. Either on a record or to one of his ever evolving live sets.
Lefhanded Fuqs Æ will be released over the coming months and represent a snapshot of his archive, selected by Nina Kraviz for Trip. The tracks were produced months ago, years ago, or in the case of the last track just a couple of weeks ago. What began with 30 tracks is now 41. The three LPs aren't albums in the traditional sense - the concept being to release the contents of his burgeoning hard drives. The music might together like an album, but Bjarki doesn't see it that way. It's essentially an archive that sounds like an album but none of the music was made with this in mind.
' (TRP007 17th June) - consisting of more ravey, sample-based music, mostly tracks that Bjarki never had any intention of releasing. But since Nina has been playing many of them in her sets, releasing them has been given new meaning. In the rave culture of the 90s, that's proved a strong influence on many of these tracks, what matters was actually being there'. There was no immediate or alternate technological way to experience it otherwise. "" B' letter in cyrillic. It's a word play. A missive for being" in the moment, being present, being aware... B is for Bjarki.

Boris Brejcha, inventor and pioneer of the genre High-Tech Minimal, again combines Minimal, Techno and Electro in his latest work called 'Der Alchemyst'.The Frankenthal based DJ and producer is one of the most creative minds in Germany. Techno at its purest form, which is 'Der Alchemyst' - without annoying hiss and chirp sounds, but more likely beats, basses, hot synths and playful effects. 'Der Virus' is a Techno peaktimer, that combines clattering percussion and gnarly synths; and also creates a very special charm with the help of a few vocals. From the beautiful melody that can be heard briefly in 'And I Said', one should not be deceived, since after the countdown another Techno bomb will be dropped into the speakers, which delights all fans of rhythm-based Techno sounds.Mainly pumping bass merges with driving percussion elements and crazy sound effects, here and there also unexpected but great turns in the arrangement happen. Perfectly styled, yet dirty, just as Techno can be. With 'The Alchemyst' Boris is again giving all he's got !

Soma are proud to present the debut album from one of the most exiting Techno artists to spring out of the French scene in recent years, Charles Fenckler. A chance happening across his Soundcloud heralded some fine results for the Soma camp as back in 2014, the 20 year old Fenckler, exploded onto the label with the finely produced 'Anklam'. Sporting such a mature sound for someone so young, his profile has been creeping up over the past 2 years, quickly gaining fans throughout the Techno community such as Jeff Mills, Marcel Dettmann, Josh Wink & Alan Fitzpatrick. His latest release in early 2016, Frozen Room saw him return to form after a short hiatus with the title track taking the scene by storm. With his debut album, Diving From The Void, Fenckler looks to continue his meteoric rise through electronic music.Fenckler takes a heady dive straight into things as opener Voices In Your Head, with it's droning yet uplifting quality, seeps eerily through before Immersion starts to up the pace of the album, it's pounding kicks and percussive workouts sitting atop a glistening, acidic melody. Charles continues on an old school tip as the wild Stellar Acid comes hard and fast, complete with powerful breakdown moment. The rave inspired Frozen Room, already a massive hit from the youngster, clatters in once again as Charles then give a nod to UK-breakbeat with the contemplative Estrange. Things get back to techno business quickly as Flirting with Disaster & Subject X103 come thundering through but still, Charles brings an emotive element with both tracks laden with polished, ethereal pads. Originally released in 2015, District Two makes an appearance with its straight up, driven 909 percussive workout. The Unknown brings an air of minimalism with its sparse synths and groove laden drums whilst Anxiety's sweeping drones and foreboding atmospheres follow before the galloping Raven closes out the album at a ferocious pace Charles has certainly explored all facets of Techno throughout this album and for someone still with much ahead of him, the future is certainly looking bright for this talented young Frenchman.

Dinamo Azari is an artist revitalised. The Montreal-born, Toronto-based musician behind the global phenomenon Azari & III presents a blinding new remix package of solo single Victim, featuring Detroit techno legend Carl Craig and Sev-erino of hedonistic party starters Horse Meat Disco.

Clocking in at just over eight minutes, Carl Craig's 'Victim' Dub pulls body shock basslines into a taught, immersive trip through industrial tech house, adorned with criss-crossing percussive highs and the low-slung vocal mantra 'into the groove' twisting through its shadows.

Severino serves up two incarnations, each exercising his minimal, soul flexing prowess for slinking, underground house. Vocals switch from vogue-ready dancefloor shapes into booming, bass confessions, 'I'm not the victim. I'm not your mother...'

Mculo, AKA Dan Schey, is a producer and DJ originally hailing from London but now residing in Berlin. Over the last 2 years he has been cultiviting his own Roots By The Oder imprint on which he released his Bunzlau Tape EP and his I Caught A Glance EP which was out this summer, as well as regular appearances on the likes of KMAH Radio and NTS. He is also a frequent DJ in Berlin alongside the likes of close affiliates Chaos In The CBD and Youandewan.This is the follow up to his dreamy I Caught A Glance EP. It's a far darker record than his previous releases, focussing much more on the dancefloor. It's been a regular feature in Mia Dora's DJ sets for the last 12 months.

French label Zone Records deals in rugged electonic sounds and now offers up a brilliant new EP from a dance legend in the form of Neil Landstrum. He offers four cuts of typical excellent club beats that are full of wonderful weirdness.

Landstrum has been churning out essential sounds since the mid nineties on labels like Peacefrog, Tresor, Planet Mu and Rawax. He has a chaotic and energetic sound that make him a cult favourite who takes his cues from many different areas. Despite 20 years plus in the game, he is still as fresh as ever on this latest outing.

The arresting 'A Girl Is A Gun' is a fat and bouncing tune with bobbling bass, dial tone like melodies rising up though the mix and steamy female coos. It's raucous and in your face and is sure to set floors alight. Fun and freaky cut 'Silent Forces' marries nagging and serrated synths with quickened drums. It is frosty and oversized, raved up and impossible to ignore with its crisp sound design and busy arrangement.

The seductive 'Night Comforts' is more subdued than the rest, with a well swung dubgroove cut up by modulate synths and fat basslines as well as trippy sci fi sounds and robot vocals. Lastly, the brilliantly bonkers 'Live Slow Die Anyways' is a drug addled and super frazzled rack of razor edged loops, blurting bass and synthetic lines that re-wires your brain as you stomp to the beat.

Pure club music with one foot in the rave, this EP is as singular as anything Landstrum has turned out and is a sure fire winner as a result.

A techno label for punk rockers, a punk rock label for techno-heads, Maelstrom and LOUISAHHH!!!'s RAAR imprint aims to release truly innovative music from and for brave sonic explorers.

Unsatisfied with digital-only distribution, RAAR plans to press every release to vinyl, in collaboration with The Vinyl Factory, curating a library of tangible sound objects as the label's legacy. Additionally, the digital releases will be 'pay as you want', and feature special open-source material (beat-a-pellas, acapellas, instrumentals, sound banks). The label encourages its audience to invest in and make use of what tools are laid out for the taking.

Berlin based Brit BNJMN returns to his regular label home of Delsin with a brand new mini-album of experimental cuts that continue his journey into ever more decayed, lo-fi and gritty sound sculpture. As well as albums on Rush Hour and Astro: Dynamics, BNJMN has put out a fine EP on Stolen Kisses and in 2015 started his own label Brack with two great releases. This new release features six tracks and kicks off with 'Microgravity,' a shadowy exercise in suspensory dub that ripples and groans, growing in menace over its static laced three minutes. Next, 'Womb' is a vast chamber of glory synths and rippling pads that sounds like it comes from the after life, 'P-Tr' is a high tension, nerve jangling brew of glassy electronics with heavy kicks buried deep below and '1987', a fuzzy, darkened brew of spacious kicks, whirring machines and bubbly tape sounds that are seriously foreboding. 'Oder' is a more emotional work where multiple synth lines echo about and emit cautious rays of light, then finally 'Amygdala' is based around a frazzled, oversized and spraying bassline that is backed by radiant pads and a dystopian house groove and it rounds out another expertly outlier collection full of strange yet compelling tracks and textures.

Ben Sims reignites his dormant Symbolism imprint for 2015. Last active in 2006, Symbolism is about music with real mood and will continue to impart Sims' vision of techno through releases from newcomers and established acts alike. The first release comes from D_Func and includes an edit from Sims himself.

The revival of Symbolism continues with J.C. & Kastil. J.C. aka Jose Cabera is otherwise known as Spanish house producer Kasper as well as cropping up on Fred P's Boards imprint as J.C. in 2014 while Kastil is widely recognised for his output and stewardship of Soul Notes.

Noir & Hayze are back with another collaboration after almost 3 years.As with anthemic 2011 smash 'Around', 'Angel' sees Noir and Hayze join forces to unique effect, with the pair combining to produce another surefire slice of dance floor gold that sidesteps current trends with confidence.
Like 'Around', there is a deep message and meaning that resonates through the vocal and, as with many of Hayze's songs, it screams the sincere emotion both listeners and ravers alike will relate to. It builds with sharp percussive inclination before coming alive as deep, rolling bass and glistening synth lines intertwine with an unerring, infectious charm.
Hayze's vocal sits perfectly amidst the track's relentless, thudding energy too and adds weight to the series of stunningly worked
crescendos that give 'Angel' all the anthemic weight required to make a serious impression in the clubs.

Shipwrec is turning back the clock and paying deserved respect to a giant in dutch acid. Active in the 90s, Random XS delivered high octane, 303 drenched, techno on the trailblazing Djax-Up-Beats like few others could. "Errant" and "Truant" have been reclaimed from '97, the first seeing them team up with fellow djaxer Binaural with the latter being a collaboration with Lost Trax (of Tabernacle fame.) The emblematic TB303 is at the heart of the EP. Acid lines melt and reform behind distant bleeps for "Errant". Lush chords ebb behind scuttling hi-hats in a deep journey of subaquatic electronics. "Truant" keeps that bubbling energy, teetering on the boundary between techno and ambient the track leads the listener deeper and deeper into a sonic labyrinth. An historic EP of texture and thump.
