XVII from Leipzig's Institut für Zukunft begins by laying an unshakable foundation for this short story with his eponymous ambient production. Delta X, Moerbeck and Eomac are telling the rest of this mysterious story with a Four-to-the-Floor-Beat.

Boris Bunnik needs little introduction, a prolific producer who uses an array of monikers to release his many personalities. The first release in this series of eight remastered tracks with remix-tributes to the techno legend Christian Morgenstern is here.
Side A kicks off with Distant Echoe's subtle and dark vision of Miscellaneous 10, followed by B1 with Mistake Made's remix of Steigrider. The former gives us a more minimalistic version of Morgenstern's original track that lulls and hypnotizes, while the latter takes us on a ride with saturated, pounding kick drums that pummel through an enchanted forest but wraps up melodiously in a signature Morgenstern way. The final track gives us the re-mastered original version of All Night Dancing, which even after 15 years is utterly timeless - sending shivers through the spines of even the most cynical techno lovers. It is the very essence of Morgenstern, showcasing his melodic strength, style-conscious mixing techniques, and epic background atmosphere that will command both underground bunkers and booming main floors alike. Additionally, the Digital release comes with a bonus Remix Of Miscellaneous 6 by CTRLS, pairing the hyperactive energy of striking drum sounds with the strung-out and driving pizzicato of the original sample.

"Funkin' With The Drums Again" sees the legendary producer and WBMX disc jockey Farley "Jackmaster" Funk turning in some absolutely killer jacking drum tracks, Chicago style. Each track is an essential DJ tool that has it all, Italo Disco inspired bass-lines, skittering drum machines, eerie analog synthesizer melodies and of course, Farley's trademark percussive vocal stabs punctuating the mix.

Originally released in 1985 the tracks featured on "Funkin' With The Drums Again"still pack a punch now in 2014, the record is a document from the initial first wave of Chicago House records and has that raw edge that so many contemporary producers are still inspired by 20+ years later.

Najem Sworb brings us the thirty-fifth edition of Wolfskuil Records adding the Strasbourg-based artist to it's roster. Previously releasing on labels such as Clone Basement Series, Technorama, Metis Recordings and the now defunct Ai Records, Najem Sworb has been transforming through various genres of techno since his debut release in 2007.

Rad.Velc EP brings us 4 original tracks playing upon the themes of house and techno. 'K-159' opens the EP with a fierce relentless bass and squeaky pads ending in a harmonic disarray while 'K-166' follows in a smiliar suit rather with a dub inspired rhythms. On the flipside, Najem Sworb switches up the vibe with 'K-abL' which illustrates the artists more house influences with mystical synth lines. However, 'K-177' demonstrates his knack for techno, delivering an explosive device fit for the dance floor. Together in all four tracks Najem Sworb shows his expertise in unique synth work providing a quirky cadence to his beats.

This ep represents a further manifestation of sound-expression over sound-design. Each track has it's own characteristics. It's a symbiotic EP which combines vintage analogue gear with live digital effects; everything is done in a moment - manipulating things that you can't calculate but feel. This live combination is really important that the listener will subconsciously get a psychedelic and emotional bound to electronic music - resembling genres like Krautrock. Do what you want, it's the only law - It's a sentence very dear to the whole Les Points collective and with this boundery it's no surprise that Audino & Barbir have collaboration featured. Dilettantes on the rise!

After the first installment, Casual Violence is in charge of keep going the path from COUM. Absolution is the name of it, and is composed by 4 original tracks from the Manchester based producer. Expect some explorations on ritualistic electronic beats.

The duo Gravity Disturbance opens with the first reference of his newly founded label Ritual Waves, where they intend to worship the electronics from his serious, dark and hypnotic perspective. His first proposal "Unsynchronized Movement" has three tracks created in 2014 (the year in which this formation is born) and representing the mutation that has been his personal vision of techno, without renouncing its essence purely underground. Gravity Disturbance finds its place in the production and makes the leap to the scene, where they have much to contribute.

Marino Canal returns to MOOD with a follow up to his 2014 'Percolate' EP and his wonderful remix of label boss Nicole Moudber's 'Her Dub Material', a mix that's still doing the damage for so many. As he prepares for the summer's season madness, Marino very kindly eases in with his trio of new tracks that see him take us on a quite unexpected but most welcomed tangent.

Continuing the deep and dubby flavour that Nicole left us with, Marino opens his latest EP with the title track, 'Strain'. Belying its title, the opener shows no sign of taut, sinewy or stressed beats. Instead we are treated a warm, deep and hypnotising house cut. The mesmeric 'Mercurial' is up next with its contrasting warm piano chords and icy ivory melody, before Marino closes the EP with the dub daubed sound of 'New Order'.

Draft brings to you their very first vinyl featuring Vanita and remixes by Chris Lattner and Cesare va Disorder. This inaugural vinyl is a special one. All 4 tracks on this release are guaranteed booty shakers. We are really proud of this project and hope you all enjoy it.

It's time to present HUND Records 003. The third release of the new born label is a really minimal bomb. The 2 originals are made by a serious work by Dubfuss and Phatool, HUND resident djs and also co- owner of the same name label. DubTool 1 is a track with some dark infuences while DubTool 2 is a pure dance foor track.

The 2 remixes are the real release diamonds. In the frst side we fnd the new Mannheim talent: Fabe. Fresh after the Fuse release he gives us his frst ever remix done to perfection. Percussion and vocal are ftted together in a track that will remain in our head for a long time. Instead in the second side we fnd an artist with an ascertain talent: Alci. Famous for his past releases in ones of the most important label like Robsoul and Apollonia, here he lets rip us his new and fresh version. A track with a huge bassline which bring us into the Apollonia sound. These works are already played by artists like: tINI, Brett Jacobs, Dan Farserelli and more others. Complete release is only vinyl and limited to 300 copies.

Counter Pulse presents number 15 in it's limited vinyl series with a release by Berlin artist Myk Derill, who delivers three tracks made up from his trademark sound of raw, futuristic atmospheres and heavily dubbed-out techno grooves. The title track "Mess" also receives a superbly deep work-out by Roberto from Fachwerk. This will be a strictly vinyl only release for a while, with the digital versions appearing later in the year, but for now, full respect to the vinyl guys, you get to spin this first !

One of the foundation artists on Samurai Horo, ASC is an essential part of the labels rebirth with the 'Geocentric Systems' EP. Taking the Grey Area sound into heavier, darker territory, 'Aphelion' and 'Perihelion' formed the core of this EP with their fervent BPM trickery. These tracks are Techno rebuilt with dizzying sensory loss, adding a weightless intensity that feels like a constant attack. 'Passel' and 'Geocentric Systems' offer a dubbed out version of the approach, heavy on the intricate sound design that has become the ASC trademark.

Ben Sims' Symbolism continues apace with a release from Binny, a Liverpool-based producer DJ otherwise known for some superb output as part of Phantom Planet Outlaws. Comprising three original tracks, the Subtractive Rhythm EP also takes in a remix from long-time Sims collaborator and British techno legend, Paul Mac.

The Links EP is Blackhall & Bookless' latest outing for their increasingly renowned Jaunt> Records imprint. A highly personal release, the EP is a homely affair, celebrating the boys' upbringing in Whitley Bay with a gusto that's indicative of the area's unique charm.A A "Links" serves up a dreamy, atmospheric landscape - and one that reflects the location around which the EP is titled. Don Williams' interpretation goes down the rabbit hole further still, teasing the listener thanks to a range of slashing echo chords and clever sub bass techniques. The duo's second original is "Vision", aAdark techno jam that manifests into a stunning tribal hypnodrome.AClosing out the EP is "Cognition", another highly atmospheric track that keeps the listener locked thanks to its many dexterous capabilities. The striking artwork, meanwhile, showcases a black and white image of where the pair would hang out as teenagers. Starting this EP is the 'Metamorph'. Definitely would be one of the highlight releases of this year. It features an exquisite and devastating bassline.

Next is 'Planet Blue' which features a very nice solid drum pattern. A subtle bassline while smooth strings gather as the production progresses. Brilliant stuff here and a EP that must definitely get a look in on MB Elektronics.

The second of this year's SMD singles on their own Delicacies label is features another two original tracks, leading with the hypnotic, late night techno loping of 'Remember In Reverse', drenched in glistening synths. The second track, 'Soft Attack' takes a much more direct approach, with a brash battering of crash cymbals on every 4th bar marking time as a sinuous synth melody curls around the rhythmatic trunk. 'Soft Attack (Drum Version)' pares it down even further, excising the melody for a minimal DJ tool.
Also included here is a remix of 'Remember in Reverse' from 90s mid west techno legend, DJ Hyperactive, who we're super excited to have on this release. He extensive 11 minute rework transforms the track, sprinkling it with subtle doses of acid.
After a short hiatus following their modular-only, desert recorded last album 'Whorl', during which SMD's James Ford found himself on production duties for everyone and their dog, SMD are back with bunch of techno cuts on their own Delicacies label.
Over a couple of months in Jas Shaw's newly re-located synth-dense studio in leafy Kent, which saw SMD once again experiment with live jams as the basis for their production, they've pulled together a selection of eight tracks for release as a series of four singles over the coming months.
SMD fans will note that the earlier naming convention of Delicacies has fallen by the wayside - for the simple reason that we've pretty much run out of weird and wonderful food stuffs to steal names from. Instead, a semi-random automated process has been used to create the track names.

Very limited repress of this excellent release* TCF (Aedrhlsomrs Lauecehrofn) is an ordered list of elements of finite possible plaintexts, finite possible cyphertexts, finite possible keys, and the encryption and decryption algorithms which correspond to each key. You might guessed it already and we have to admit: We really fell in love with this one big time! After so much deepness there is time to speed up the pace a bit and get us something to freak out now. Frank Lorber's "L'Obscure Objet Du Désir" seems the perfect food for our needs. There is a strong beat, a massive and freaky acidic bassline and driving hihats. Frank created a kickin' techno monster spiced up with cool effects and break-downs. This is the soundtrack for dark clubnights full of smoke and screaming dancers who are about to turn the dancefloor upside down. What an amazing double pack, both tunes with definetely be around for a long time and we can't wait to hear them in a club!

Germany's heavyweight champion, Alex Bau, following up releases at the most respectful imprints, he lands on Marco Bailey's MBR Limited with his tremendous ''Organic Deformation of Oz''. Expect nothing less than high-octane techno through 2 intelligently lethal originals and an extra-terrestrial remix by the superhuman Developer. Hailing from Belarus, the young, low-profile artist created some buzz by his stand-out track "Overwhelming Fear" from last year's Semantica compilation Index. Part One. The immaculately produced ON007 proves that track wasn't a fluke and solidifies his status as a talent to keep an eye on. The Fanon Flowers remix is the cherry on top.

Wolfskuill starts 2016 with a bang, introducing three emerging artists to the label on one fat various artists EP. Discrete Circuit, Rumah, and Nettling take the stage delivering one track each to showcase each one of their personal styles.
Opening the EP, Discrete Circuit wastes no time and launches straight into a rapid and incessant bassline, matched with some raw claps 'Gamma Decay' follows suit in his unfiltered style after debuting on Delsin last year. On the flip side Rumah dives deeper into the realm of sound with 'I'm Sick Until They Sack Me' letting loose oscillating chords into the atmosphere while Nettling's 'Cycle' exudes the energy of static electricity. All three tracks put forward a fresh enthusiasm to any dance floor.

We are well into 2015 already, so it is time for our second release of this year. This time we have the pleasure to present you the excellent duo I/Y to make their debute on DR.

'Objection' is a dark yet dance floor ready track, driven by playful rhythmic synths, pulsating low ends. The well designed stabs and atmosphere in 'Primary', ensure it can be played at almost any moment in a set. Furthermore, Sweden's tripmaster Acronym delivers two outstanding takes on the EP's A side, adding an amazingly layered amount of depth, while maintaining the driving force of the original. Hot on the heels of Refraction Vol. 2, Residual welcomes the return of long time friend John Tejada. The prolific programming master serves up salacious selections that are searing to say the least. The lead track Jaco is a Pepe Bradock influenced piece the twists and turns with breaky beat work. The numbers on the B side are firmly focused on filing the dance floor. Round the Outside shows Tejada in top form. Upfront drums and basslines perfectly paired with flittering melodies. Repurposed is more minimal in form but no less effective. Hannah Holland's iconic Batty Bass makes a welcome return back on wax with main man Josh Caffe joining forces with the Belgian production don's The Subs (Lektroluv) delivering a slice of deep underground electro techno brilliance.
An all out acid remix from Posthuman (I love Acid) flipped with a tripped out, driving, hypnotic remix from Aerea Nergot (BPitch control/Rush Hour/Moshi Moshi) make this an
essential vinyl release.

Fachwerk celebrate 8 years Fachwerk with a special 2x12" Album Release... Fachwerk, established in Berlin in 2007 By Mike Dehnert, will be celebrating their 8th year this September with an album showcasing the cohesiveness of their sound and artists. In the past years, Sascha Rydell, Roman Lindau and Mike Dehnert himself have called the label home, hosting frequent nights at Berghain among other venues with the whole crew. With the minor exception of a couple releases the label catalog almost uniquely features the German trio. For this special series, the three have come together once more, with the last time being three years ago, to each contribute their perspective on this anniversary piece as they travel through various emotions that capture the uplifting energy of the label. The story is told as a narrative opening with a prologue from an alluring French female which slips gently into a punchy bass and cheerful rifts. The plot continues to unfold with dub-like chords that nurture serene atmospheres, which glide between bouncy beats and darker intriguing synths. The camaraderie is evident as the story progresses through a series of interludes embracing the banter of daily life running a label. The sheer ability for Dehnert, Lindau and Rydell to intermingle and rest so consistent has them fooling any ear into thinking this compilation is a solo album. This is not an easy task for many labels, yet they are able to embody the essence of what the label has achieved in the past 8 years as well as what is still to come.

Thule Records camp is hitting it hard these days. This time it's a collaboration between two pioneers within the Icelandic techno scene. On the A-side, we have Static, a hypnotic groove with indistinguishable voices and shimmering dub chords, and Útkall, minimalistic dub techno mantra. On the flipside we have the heavily-rhythmic Sedna, where the drums and bass compliment each other in such a way that it might cause involuntary muscle movements, and at last Timelaps, a delicate minimalistic voyage. Ohm is best known for his releases on Force Inc with Exos. Octal Industries, a veteran who has already gained a respectable reputation within the IDM community under his Ruxpin pseudonym, returns to his origins with this collaboration. Thule Records is considered by many to be a pioneer in the field of dub-influenced techno music and was a starting point for many of Iceland's most renowned electronic musicians.

Nested Structure is the first Great Circles release from artists outside of Philadelphia. THRIVE are Tetsuya Yoshida and Hitoshi Kojima. They both grew up in the North Kanto area of Japan. They first met at the club run by Tetsuya Yoshida called SOUND A BASE NEST, which is known as having the best sound system in the North Kanto area. In 2007, the duo started their DJ / Producing unit THRIVE. Previous releases have included a split 12" with

Keia Yano for Japanese label Struct, and recent solo releases by Hitoshi for Always Human Tapes and for his own label Ambivalent Deviation.

This record almost didn't happen! --- Tetsuya and Hitoshi were picking up Great Circles records in Japan and, having periodically communicated with each other about music, they sent us the Struct 12" to check out. While cleaning out the back of the car a few months later, the presumably empty record mailer was about to land in the recycle bin when we fortunately discovered a demo CD of unreleased THRIVE material inside. We drove around listening to it and week later we agreed to release a 12".

The music on the Nested Structure 12" is dark, foreboding, even outwardly threatening. It's hypnotic, textural and rhythmically complex.

Following Tripeo's acclaimed debut album 'Anipintiros', the artist asked a few of his friends to reinterpret his release. It resulted in 2 reworked EP's from his contributors, all of whom are from an all star techno line up. On part 2 we explore the harder mixes.
Blawan goes full throttle during his sonically destructive reconstruction of Ani #7. Not for the faint at heart. Ben Sims does what Ben Sims does best with his rework of Ani #5: over-driven grooves, acidic sequences kept together by the relentless tempo of a high-speed train. On closing duties we have the enigma that is Cadans. Still nobody knows which prolific Drum & Bass producer is behind this pseudonym and we have no intention to reveal that secret just yet. His skillful and highly detailed rework of Ani #1 shows him to be a master of his art.

'Control' (Roberto Capuano) begins with a quarter time drum beat that centers around a high hat track. Shortly following the introduction, the melody kicks in. Drawn through a remixer, haunting lyrics join the track, 'Do you know why you're here Do you think you have control' This track would be an ideal candidate for not only underground clubs and outdoor festivals but as soundtrack for any video game, regardless of genre.
'G.O.D.' (Saso Recyd) is a fun, upbeat track that would delight any attender at a club. The song opens with the sensation of almost being on a spaceship. Soon, the synthesized melody adapts a circular tinny sound. The piece experiments with unusual noises. It sophistication and patience gives way to a versatile, stand alone, feel-good anthem.
'Taipan' (Flavio Diaz) is a dangerous, exciting instrumental track. True to its snake-inspired name, Diaz uses a static hissing sound to complement the beat. The cymbals rattle, offering even more reptilian inspiration. The energy of the track leads it to be a flawless anthem for any festival, concert, or club. It would amplify any DJ's set list and also serve as a nice base for a mash up.

Kamikaze Space Programme's version is more dramatic still, returning the favour after Emika appeared on his own 'Choke' recently.
CNCPT (Brenda, Natch Records) kicks off the remixes of What's The Cure with an industrious slab of dubbed-out, reverb-heavy techno, doing away with Emika's vocals entirely and instead making use of her sound design expertise with subtle finesse.
Mysterious German Clone and Bunker affiliates The Exaltics tap into their electro roots on their rework with a thick, rubbery bassline working its way under a simple, atmospheric arrangement that allows Emika's honeyed delivery to take centre stage.
Borai (Tasteful Nudes) teams up with Emika herself to provide a stripped-back, heavily-swung, stomping take on the track, boiling it down to its melodic and textural essence.
Eomac rounds off the package with his stunning string-laden instrumental interpretation.

With this new project, Madben & Yann Lean get back to the essence of techno with a raw sound based on groove, textures and catchy

hooks. Influenced by 90's rave sound et artists like Jeff Mills, Surgeon, DJ Pierre, Dave Clarke or DJ Funk the french producers like to

write their music "on-the- fly" and are adepts of a very spontaneous track conception. With "Trunkline" they bring back the unique

texture of analogic techno. Trunkline's vinyl label will release the duos ep's. They plan to release one maxi per trimester. The project

will also take to the stage as a four deck DJ set and then a "100% machine" live performance in the summer of 2016.

For the its 11th release, MindTrip brings together 4 of the most challenging and interesting artists of the current techno scene, presenting two original tracks and two remixes. This record opens with Ovadoca' from the highly productive Dutchman Tripeo, also known as Darko Esser. Ovadoca is a dark, meandering and trippy track which incorporates rich analogue sounds with a deep, rolling groove - perfect for parties which continue for days not hours. The second track introduces Finnish DJ and producer Juho Kusti to the MindTrip imprint with his brilliant interpretation of Ovadoca. Juho's take on the track loses nothing of the original's quality and adds eerie tones, additional percussion and a new arrangement, making this version a club friendly roller. The B side reverses convention and opens with a remix of the final track, Contortions by Jonas Kopp. As you would expect from the Argentinian, the track is a tough, driving chunk of techno. The mood undulates throughout and tension is expertly built throughout in this storming, peak time track. The original version of Contortions closes the EP. Penned by Simon Haydo - who is well known for delivering consistently high quality music on a range of respected labels like Balans and Stockholm LTD - Contortions is a bass heavy track with a mesmerising hook which DJs and dancefloors will love in equal measure. Ostgut Ton reissues Drei of Zehn with original tracks by Function nd Substance as well as Len Faki remixing L.B. Dub Corp.
2015 marked Ostgut Ton's ten-year anniversary, celebrated with an extensive 30 track compilation release, titled Ostgut Ton Zehn, spread out over ten 12 vinyl records housed inside a limited box set. This sampler sold out in no time, which is why Ostgut Ton is re-issuing these ten 12"es individually in 2016.
Zehn Drei is an unfussy record on the one hand - three Techno tracks and therefore stylistically cohesive overall - but a personnel- and sound-wise multi-layered 12 on
the other hand. Luke Slater (as L.B. Dub Corp), Dave Sumner aka Function and Len Faki all feature on A, Faki's reinterpretation of Roller feat. Function' is a subtle but intensifying update of the original's nuanced kick drum. On B1 Function sets his
focus on pulsing, modulating, warm synth basslines with subjacent, haunting blankspaces and a straight drum beat. Lastly Substance aka DJ Pete offers a fleet footed stomper with lots of drive and tribalism, and there's even some jacking vocal
samples to top things off. Keine Angst' - don't be afraid.

A 60 MIN COLLABORATIVE EXPOSE FROM LA NATIVE ASHTREJINKINS AND TOKYO-BASED KO SAITO'S ORIGINAL PRODUCTION.

Canadian based label Eternal Drive Recordings is proud to present it's first vinyl release by Jay Zoney titled "Workhorse" with remixes by Audio Injection & Axkan.

This is the label's eleventh digital release and first to be cut on vinyl featuring two original tracks from label boss Jay Zoney. Jay's productions have picked up previous support from artists including Ben Sims, D.A.V.E. the drummer, Bas Mooy, Speedy J, Sam Paganini, Joseph Capriati and Gary Beck.

On remix duty is Los Angeles native David Flores, who takes on the EP's title track under his Audio Injection alias, where many people will also know him as Truncate. Between his two aliases this heavyweight producer has racked up an impressive back catalogue of labels including CLR, Mote-Evolver, Affin, 50 Weapons, Figure and Gynoid Audio to mention only a handful.

Also featured as a remix artist is Federico Sánchez aka Axkan originally from Mexico, now calls California his home. His dark, experimental and edgy sounds have landed his tracks on the likes of Morgan Tomas' Reloading Records to Israel Toledo's Assassin Soldier and many more.

First on the EP is the title track 'Workhorse,' which true to its name is steady and relentless. A kick drum that stamps like heavy hooves on concrete gives it a powerful sound. The fast flowing percussion is brought to life with startling rips and synth stabs that grunt with determination and grit. This industrial workhorse delivers the goods every time with expert precision and perfect timing.

The second track is titled 'Mr. Ed' shows Jay Zoney's acid roots. Industrial like the first track, it's hard hitting with a rolling acid line that wriggles and twists as the track progresses. It has an intensely powerful clap with sharp hi-hats and a shuddering bass sound that when combined give it an infectious throwback groove.

Third on the release is the Audio Injection remix of Workhorse, and although dark like the original, it's less industrial overall. Opting for his own spacey percussion and bassline David (Audio Injection) creates a rolling groove packed with forward momentum. With the addition of a half bar synth hook and rising pad sound, this remix is powered by a prominent off beat hi-hat which makes it both hypnotic, euphoric and menacing.

Finishing off the release is a rework of Workhorse by Axkan whose rippling remix is both eerie and mysterious. Loaded by a grinding synth sound which echoes round the mix to create the feeling of open space, his remix starts off four to the floor, but with an unexpected shift morphs into a more broken rhythm. Building in intensity, this pulsating masterpiece has mechanical qualities and a truly individual sound.

Valere Aude, the debut album from Romans, a collaborative project between New York techno producer Gunnar Haslam and Vienna-based acid evangelist Johannes Auvinen (aka Tin Man). Featuring 12 tracks of hallucinogenic, psychedelic techno, Valere Aude is an acid-etched trip to the outer reaches of the mind.

I just really like listening to albums. I think the popular notion of techno not lending itself to the album format is just a myth," says Haslam, a statement we can't help but agree with. Both Haslam and Auvinen are no strangers to the album format — Haslam has released three under his own name, and Tin Man has released no fewer than six. "The album format allows for more cohesive artistic statements than other formats — it feels like more of an achievement and delivers a filled-out narrative," explains Auvinen. That's a perfect summation of Valere Aude. Building on the blueprint they sketched with Ambulare Aude, their first 12" for The Bunker New York, Valere Aude presents a fleshed-out vision of another world where acid techno falls like rain upon a forgotten civilization. "The album connects to a fantastic fictional history in which we are imagining attitudes lost to the waters of time," Auvinen says. The track titles, in fact, allude to geographic designations in the greater Roman empire, adds Haslam.

Although both Haslam and Auvinen are fully established artists in their own right, Romans is more than a mere meeting of the minds. "We are discovering a third entity as Romans, within Romans, which is neither he (Haslam) nor I," explains Auvinen, cryptically. "Our decisions as producers become simpler as we get closer to discovering Romans' sound." Haslam concurs: "Our production process is pretty quick — our compositional style is similar. We give each jam all that we have, then, later, sort 'em out and let Providence decide whether it's any good."

The finished product is a steamy, moody record, experimenting with atmospheres, tempos, and sounds, designed for blistering hot days and cold, rainy nights. We couldn't be more excited to share it with you.

My first meeting with Keita Sano
A little over a year ago I spent a day off in the lovely seaside town Enoshima. There is a really nice club, cafe and concert venue there called Oppa-La which I had played the previous night. So my dear friend and japanese promoter Hagi tells me we should go back there the following night as there will be local bands playing followed by a live-set from Keita Sano. I was only vaguely familiar with his music but had noticed his name crop up more and more frequently so off we went.
a couple of beers later and around the third track in : somehow managing to merge the playfullness of disco with the physical impact of techno I'm sold there and then.
over a friendly chat and more beers later I clumsily present an offer to release his music and hopefully even all the things he played that night. a few days later the album as you hold in front of you AND more or less a replica of that live-set arrives in my inbox.Prins Thomas, RIF HQ Asker 13th of October 2016

When global house player M.in takes things to the max, fans of his energetic trademark style know what time it is... it's time for lowest depths, quirky synth sounds, jackin' rhythms and heavy percussive drive, fueled with original vocals - for an allover feverish, addictive vibe. While researching on a jazzy tip with his 2011 album, M.in clearly wants to take all his club experience to the max this time. As he puts it himself: 'It's what I do best and like the most, to raaawkiiit!'

The max of joy, happiness and sweaty workout he brings will be good for your body and soul. Or as father Väth said lately to German Groove Magazine 'Don't forget to dance!' ... Yes! 'M.in to the M.ax' is all about dancing, prancing and dirty romancing. But mind you, M.in is far from delivering blunt functional tracks. His history of musical textures reaching from Soul, to House, Techno, Jazz, HipHop and more is interwoven with all his tracks. It's the zest of his music that has evolved to peak in its comprised momentum now.
Evolution is the key to M.ins career: growing from a humble local DJ to a big pimpin' trackforge, he stands more than tall with the full flavoured package of this album. Though u might not be able to walk upright after having churned it out with the full-on grooves he's in charge of! The tracklist spells M.in's realness by the titles alone... with slammers such as 'Bass Boy', 'People In The Front' or 'I'll Bring You Love'. Having said it, M.in means it - bringin' love for those who like to party loud or deep!

Besides his solo-tracks, communicator M.in collabs with a few good friends. Dennis Lee Taylor lends his sleazy voice to the humourous album opener 'I Don't Dig Dis', delivering a deadly cool anthem for the night time, that is always the right time. And... of course fun(k) joker M.in is bullshitting you: for you will dig this so hard!
Just as much as his take on garage house together with Gunman or the fresh flow of M.ins sexy re-fix for his discofied 'Frauen Und Blumen' (together with Patrick Kunkel and Lenny Kraviz saxophone player Harold Tood (here on vocals'). With 'E Zumba Ej' ending the album, M.in returns to some slightly latin-flavoured percussions that remind of his earlier works. So in the end, he moves forth and back through his own style file evolution to keep it 'M.in to the M.ax' on all tracks. And as much as the new tracks are mere slammers: they keep that certain smirk in your face, which was always, what M.in aimed at the most: music with an - obsession for smiling faces"!

A new self-released 7" from Ben R. Brown (who has recently released music on Drvg Cvltvre's NY Haunted label.) From sludgy techno to Balearic mishmash - this is wildly original music from this west coast talent!

This new double AA sided 12" in the Gynoid Limited series sees two heavy hitting originals by the rising star of Dutch Techno - Doka, and Gynoid regular, Ground Loop from Melbourne. Both tracks receive complimentary remix treatments, with Mørbeck performing a raw techno workout of Doka's original, while on the flip-side, Ground Loop's track gets a deep and dubby signature remix by Advanced Human.

In 2013 Drumcell debut his first full length album 'Sleep Complex' on CLR. Around the time of the album release Drumcell invited three of his close label mates Luis Flores and Raíz Truncate from Droid and Lucy from Stroboscopic Artefacts to create their own interpretations of his music. The unreleased tracks were constant dance floor tracks used within the teams DJ sets and it's about time to release these tracks to the public!

Hotflush unveils its second release of 2015 in the form of a collaborative single between label mainstay Locked Groove and ascendant Italian duo Mind Against.

With both acts coming off the back of triumphant finishes to 2014 - the success of Locked Groove's huge Enigma EP and Mind Against's surge into #33 position in Resident Advisor's 2014 DJ poll - 'Elysium / Pulsar' marks the first time the producers have collaborated. The end result combines Locked Groove's punchy, dancefloor-ready aesthestic and the emotionally resonant melodics that Mind Against have made their signature since breaking through with Life And Death in 2013.

Reeko takes on the title track 'Desolation', the result is plagued with atmosphere; stripping, capturing and examines you before you have chance to do so to it. The tracks estranged essence and amalgam of sound is immediately apparent. It has you uncertain and poised for more, pulsating with darkness at every turn.I/Y's 'Reduction' reduces nothing of the sort, constantly fluxing between varying percussion types of both hi and low energy. Considering nothing more than to possess you with filter laden drum pads and a stark reality, IY have created a hypnotic vision of creative compulsion that'll have you dance yourself silly.
Transcending life's problems in to nothing, Techno does what Techno does, and Weekend Circuit does what it can to support. Impeccably produced, this second coming of sound is a sonic ambition that'll nail you to the wall, and stick as memorable stuff; an absolute MUST for any techno enthusiast.

Following the warm reception of The Dance 2xLP Album + live CD recording last year, Kontra-Musik now presents The Dance remixes The Dance Remixed 2 features an ever-growing remix by Efdemin - peak hour material without being boorish, just the way Kontra-Musik likes it. Wa Wu We and Voices From the Lake follow up with two tropical jungle expeditions: Wa Wu We's version of "Fusion" is feverishly humid and hot while Voices From the Lake takes the nocturnal route; brooding darkness, heavy rain and strange creatures of the night squirming away from the flashlight. Driven by the common 80's DIY-attitude, the 4th ISTHEWAY release happens to be a cooperation for an absolute one-side vinyl, Shinoby vs Hypnobeat (James Dean Brown + Helena Hauff). The one-track (9:19min) is rooted in the concept of a "neo-tribal' approach, compressing electronics into an emotional, hypnotic and rhythmic core.

The energy and the emotional impact of polyrhythms and the track turned out to be centered around the inimitable sound of the Roland TR-808 plus a wide range of analogues gear including up to eight synchronized rhythm machines.

Weekend Circuit, record label born out of London, England, is an artistic entity focussing primarily on releasing first-rate Techno since it's inception in 2013. Starting from humble beginnings, the outfit have rapidly grown into one of the cities most important collectives. The inaugural release, helmed by Dax J, helped set the blueprint for a well-honed, forward-glancing sound that owes as much to London as it does to Berlin.

Previous releases have given artists a stand-alone platform upon which to extend their music to the masses, and now the label releases its first V/A series, Ground-Fault-Interrupt.

Artists such as Developer and Sleeparchive return to the imprint, this time joined by both veteran producers and newcomers alike. Yan Cook, Alderaan & P.E.A.R.L. also surface, giving this compilation a unique flavour and displaying a true understanding of the label's direction.

Spread over 2 parts, the record's eight tracks further showcase what the label has been become known for, a highly-focussed, well-contemplated brand with music to match. With tracks from the compilation already being played by artists such as Rodhad at this years Time Warp, Ben Sims and more, G-F-I offers future classics across the board.

The tenth release in the ESD series comes from Alan Fitzpatrick himself. This double a-side release features 'Full House', a full-force Fitzpatrick bomb that rips up the dancefloor with a dizzying bleep melody that ping pongs back and forth above a typically tense, relentless groove.
On the flip, the aptly named Another Way To Go combines a 132 BPM rhythm of clattering hats and punchy kicks with intense keys to create a riotous stripped back techno jam.

Following on from Radio Slave's 'Vision' that landed earlier on in the year, Rekids assembles three colossal remixes from Rødhåd, Obscure Shape & SHDW and Johannes Heil.
Rødhåd's remix leads the package with tantalising synths, filtered effects and stuttering percussion that together assist in generating an impending tension. On the flip, Obscure Shape & SHDW immediately drop cavernous kicks before the original's distinguishable pads brighten up an otherwise dark and sinister aesthetic. Tying up the package, Johannes Heil's ethereal rendition echoes throughout providing a deep and mesmerising conclusion.
