Sphere is 4-track 12' featuring new faces on the label. The A-side starts with Analysis from Keith Carnal. This one will rock the Techno floors for sure. Next is a very forceful remix from The Plant Worker (also known from Blank Code & Limited) on label host Joachim Spieth's Never Mind. The flipside opens with UNC0MPR0M153 (new project from Dubit). TR41N is a monster tune with dark fx arrangements and powerful bass sequences. Krenzlin's banger Sick Time contains melodic parts besides sharp rides and various other pushing percussion elements. Four A-sides on one vinyl! To be released in early 2014.

The first vinyl release by Ukrainian label Subself presents the compilation including both label residents and new artists. X EP includes four tracks made exclusively for this release.

It starts with DSCRD's track which perfectly blends experimentalism and techno traditions into nine-minutes-trip gets with a peak by acid bass and distorted modular chords. Vadim Griboedov continues journey with off-beat techno construction balancing on the border of minimalism and nihilism.

On the flipside Rasmus Hedlund present dubby side of Subself with his slowburning Extorter decorated with delays and glithes. The last but not least track of X EP belongs to Echologist, man which production always surpising and visionary. Explorer is not exception - it's mesmerise with the deepness and transparency at the same time.

Madrid based artist ''Irazu'' has a couple of tricks up his sleeve. Apart from creating outlandish rhythms that are hard to pin down to one specific box in the spectrum of electronic music, Irazu also proves to have a strong visual and intellectual identity.

With titles such as ''Tolerance for The Absurd'' and ''The Situationist Was Not Alone''to back this up, Irazu's first solo EP for the soul notes off-shoot ''Stale''is an intrusive blend of harsh tones, exotic drum patterns and firmly built repetitions of sound. Irazu's ability to camouflage certain sounds and make them cut through the mix with great strength is showcased in ''The Situationist Was Not Alone'', where the main lead sounds rather like a ship horn of some sort than an actual synth sound.

The build of this opening effort is hypnotic, while the lead sound maintains a mantra-like repetition. ''Tolerance For The Absurd'' sounds like a lost jungle tribe travelling in the hold of a transatlantic fright vessel.It's exactly this need for abstract descriptions that describes the atmosphere of this cut best. Again, a mantra like repetitive tone makes one want to replay this again and again.

For the B side ''Northern Electronics'' stalwart ''Acronym ''steps up with a charachteristic remix for ''Tolerance For The Absurd''. The artists ability to alter moods with minimal edits and smartly placed bits of sound is exactly what he is showcasing throughout this heart wrenching mix that spans for 7.36 minutes.

''Corrosive Suddenly Breath'' is another Irazu original that subtly closes down this 12'' with great effort. Psychotic sounding bits of modular tones serve as a lead-like sound supported by a hazy tone that lieas underneath and a sucking bassline that feels like the cut is a vacuum of sound balancing smartly somewhere in between contemporary techno and industrial soundscaping.

Saber, an off shoot of Chicago's seminal Trax imprint dig deep into their vaults and find 7 tracks from Armando Gallop and his Chicago bad boys!

Ambient techno exponent, A Sagittariun, fires off another full-length album transmission this April on his own Elastic Dreams label. 'Elasticity' is the Bristol based artist's second long player, and the follow up to his acclaimed 2013 debut, 'Dream Ritual'. Having last released a trio of singles in early 2015 (for Hypercolour, Secret Sundaze and Elastic Dreams), 'Elasticity' marks a return for A Sagittariun, and fans of the slippery and elastic sounds that hallmarked his debut album will not be disappointed. 'Dream Ritual' helped firmly establish A Sagittariun as an artist whose musical chops and integrity operate largely outside of the mainstream and a producer who chooses to put the music firmly center stage, whilst opting to remain relatively anonymous within the music scene. A Sagittariun explains, Elasticity was recorded over quite a short period, but the sketches and ideas have been germinating for some time, so sonically it's very coherent and consistent and moves in a way that I personally like albums to move in, with a narrative and flow that holds you right to the end. The recipe for Elasticity was always to be malleable and pliable with the sounds and tempos, for me it's all about the listening experience, and creating a landscape and a world within that one can really get deep into and explore, it's optimistic and progressive music for the head, heart and feet. I really do advise the listener to don headphones and take the trip with me".

Cray76, Joakim's dance project, is back with a 2-track EP.
On the A-side, this is what we would call a banger here at Crowdspacer. Simple, stupid, raw, funky. Is it a tribute to New York Not sure but the B side certainly is. To be more precise it's a tribute to Merce Cunningham, the legendary choreographer, close collaborator of John Cage and genius thinker who inspired the name of the label. Based on a recorded lecture by Merce, the eponymous track is a slow, hypnotic and organic house groove, an ode to movement and NY avant garde, because "...Dancing is a visible action of life.

Ultramajic, loves to court the weird, the mysterious, and the supernatural, which makes it a perfect home for Crystal Bandito. The label's latest signee is an unknowable entity with no narrative and no physiognomic features at all who debuted on the latest Metaphysix compilation with "EEEWalk." The same track will reappear on the first Crystal Bandito solo EP alongside three new productions, which label boss Jimmy Edgar has included on his forthcoming mix for the FABRICLIVE compilation series. The tunes jive well with Ultramajic's cybernetic take on psychedelia; metallic claps and rigid machine funk beats abound, often peppered with slick dehumanized vocals and doused in a digital sheen.

Bristol's Kamikaze Space Programme debuts on Trust with a hard-hitting 12" of industrial techno bass, featuring Ninja Tune hot-shot Emika contibuting haunting vocals the EP's opener, 'Choke'

The UK's newly inaugurated Future Primitive label holds a candle to its name by unearthing two Leo Anibaldi productions from deep within the Roman's voluminous back catalogue. The two-track 12" debut sees Anibaldi provide the label with a contemporary 'Stretched Edit' of 1994 production "Fusion 1", a cut lifted from the Aeon EP originally released on the now defunct Italian label, ACV. Future Primitive has also given ambient number "Evocation Part II" a full remaster and B-side privileges, honouring an esoteric production from Anibaldi's Void LP that was originally released on Aphex Twin's Rephlex label in 1996.

Singular Records is back with a brand new ep by the label head himself, Marcelus. You will find very deep tracks in this new ep,
detroitish grooves and soundscapes. The A side contains two techno cuts, "Another way" and "Sonic Cigars", perfect for intense
techno moments on the floor, and are very disctinctive by the groove and colors The B side is a more atmospheric one, "Enlightenment"
is the one for special moments full of sweet textures that gives real deepness. And closing the ep, "It's out there", a deep ambient cut,
showing once again the extented tastes and skills from the parisian DJ.

Its very cohesive much like your previous EP's but quite unique as well. I sense a really strong relationship to jazz influences which is a

Starting with his track 'Tonal Response', Petter B has incorporated chunky drums with a melodic synth to give this track an industrial feel that will leave its stamp in any club. 'Filtered Tone Sequence' uses a tonal sequence and filtered cut offs to give this track depth and character. On the flip side, 'Tone Reproduction' uses short stabs and a reverberated percussion to create a phrase that has a perfect juxtaposition with the bass to create a funk driven groove. 'Atonal Dub' is the final track to close the EP and is based around a weighty rhythm section to create an absurd groove to keep the dance floor moving.

The mighty Qindek returns to Wolfskuil for his sophomore hypnotic workout. On this 3 track EP he showcases his unique talent for melodic sounding atonal sequencing (if that makes any sense) and stripped down grooves. In titletrack Modu he stretches his signature sound to almost epic proportions. Over the span of 12 minutes he stretches and bends a seemingly simple idea like rubber without losing a second's tension. Both Due and Krux are pieces of sophisticated dancefloor DJ tools dripping with atmosphere and depth. Two perfect secret peaktime weapons for those who know.

Be As One is once again showcasing the talents of a young and bright producer with a promising career ahead of him. Yotam Avni's unique approach to music didn't took long to be noticed and brought onboard by the Be As One crew. Yotam debuts on the Israeli label with an EP that reflects how he sees Techno: dark, raw, pumping, relentless with 'UR Sleeping' on the A side; emotional melodic, driving with the Detroit inspired 'Better Days' on the flipside. Timeless techno once again on BAO.

Zipper is Zemi17's second release on The Bunker New York, and sees him expanding his musical palette considerably, in which his gamelan-derived sound design pushes further out towards the expanses of techno's realm.
Zipper is the product of years of work. "The tracks on this record began as field recordings taken from Indonesia — insect sounds, gamelan, found sounds," says Kuffner. "Each of these tracks comes from a different stage of my music-writing process over the years. I eventually developed a kind of 'sketch and improv' technique, re-arranging groupings and arrangements of a series of elements. Zipper reflects a culmination of this technique, and in my opinion, it's representative of some of my best work."

Italian-based label Trial Records is starting with its first release on vinyl. Label founder Armystrial is opening with two driving tech tunes, the latter remixed by Greek techno veteran Axel Karakasis. Marknoise and Gymmy J are rounding it off with two tracks definitely dedicated to the dance floor.

First in a series of compilations from Monofonus Press is this l 4 song 12 EP, sure to compliment both the DJ's record bag and the home listener's collection.
Opening track 'Molecular Psychology' by Interbrain, duo of Willie Burns (WT Records) and Alessandro Adriani (Mannequin Records), is a 14- minute Electro-Kraut caliche stomper to keep the mosquitoes riled up around the sweat-drenched masses. Instant classic. The Stockholm duo Empfänger (Käften's TowLie and Daniel Isling of Sling and Samo) swarm in with throbbing kick drums, buzzing bass sequences and some meth-crazed psychopath vocals on their Acid Techno track 'Charles.'
Side B opens up with the Cosmic Disco track 'Tsch' by Welsh producer Samoln (Sam Bardsley of Valley Sound Records). This one would fit in superbly on a Baldelli mix with its thumping tropical bongos, dark bassline, and dulcimer melodies.
Closing the record is the epic 'The Terrible Comet Salt' by Idea Fire Company & BRRR. Scott Foust (Swill Radio) and friends team up with Darren Harris (The Shadow Ring) to create a brilliant and strange piece of music. Its seesaw, wind instrument loops and ascending piano waves hypnotize you while Harris orates a bleak and seemingly appropriate tale.

Italian trio Agents Of Time make their Ellum debut with a weighty, two track release. 'Magma' shares remnants of label head Maceo Plex's own formidable style, with compelling synths, punchy claps and a rumbling bassline. 'Obsidian' is finally seeing a release after causing heat from Fur Coat's feature in their BBC Essential Mix a few months ago. Heady, powerful, stirring, expertly crafted; adjectives that are regularly used for Ellum releases and Agents Of Time have confidently followed their predecessor's footsteps.
Agents Of Time are Andrea Di Ceglie, Fedele Ladisa and Luigi Tutolo. Making music together since July 2013, they have clocked up an album on Stem Records and the massive 'Polina EP' on Correspondent. Miami ex-patriate Alexander Suàrez debuts on Unknown Precept with A Los Mártires. Conceived as an ode to those who spilt their blood in vane for political ideologies that failed them and countries that were never their homes, the five tracks that make up the release show the Brooklyn-based producer sinking into odd techno hybrids manipulation; shooting down unrestrained grooves and rusty samples while excavating lush sound exploration tinged by local folklore and grievous metallic tones. In his own words, Suárez discloses that the embodiment of this strange intermingling sound like an organic and humming invitation to an uninhibited meditation on our inevitable assimilation into modern industrial society; an overarching rhythmic theme built on the idea that the resistance to and the seduction of these systems might trap us in a push and pull limbo from which the only escape is rage or submission.

Luckily he's also been in the studio recording and finally delivering this new three track ep. These are subtle yet effective funk-ridden club tools that are sure to move the floor and a precusor to even more from the in demand producer.

Just over a year since the inception of Weekend Circuit, we've been embracing the fact of already inviting some of Techno's most established artists alongside new talent from all over the world leading up to the 6th release on the label. Next up we have the first release in a new limited edition series of hand stamped vinyl and we've secured a solo 3 track EP from London based Antonio De Angelis including a trademark mix by Tresor & Berlin resident Roger Semsroth aka Sleeparchive.

"Land Of Confusion" is one of the most seminal Chicago Acid House records.

Originally released in 1987 on Bam Bam's Westbrook imprint and produced by the legendary Armando Gallop it marked the start of a recording career that would make him a household name among House and Techno aficionados. To say "Land Of Confusion" is raw is an understatement, it consists of a handful of elements but it's impact when played is incendiary. Armando's TB-303 acid lines sound possessed and unruly while the primitive drum machine patterns stagger around the track giving it a feeling of out of control urgency, a truly Lo-fi piece of crazy Chicago acid that was popular with many DJ's in Chicago (Including Ron Hardy at the Muzic Box) and around the world and continues to be influential today. An essential record for any discerning House or Techno fan.

This official re-issue 12" features all 3 original versions of "Land Of Confusion" and the original Westbrook label art. All tracks have been re-mastered and fully licensed in conjunction with Bam Bam / Westbrook Records, Chicago USA.

The second release on benji303's 303 alliance label, this release is dedicated in loving memory of Josh Jones aka Josh Inc.; a true acid techno warrior who's memory will live on forever through his brilliant music r.i.p mate.

The crossover success of Dinamo Azari's previous band's raucous, hedonistic, revitalization of classic house - with hits such as 'Reckless (With Your Love)' and 'Hungry For The Power' - brought game-changing concerts all over the world. After such extensive touring the solo Azari returns to Toronto for rejuvenation and inspiration on his solo debut.' Toronto has a thriving, young scene and it was imperative I stay close to it,' Dinamo enthuses. 'The feeling is underground, rebellious, late night warehouse and loft events. I'm staying close to my roots and the results are on the record.' Speaking to all cultures through tones and vocal harmonies, the music throughout 'Estranged' maintains the retro-tinted bubbliness of Azari's past but also heads somewhere grittier, tougher and much further into the nightworld - from analog machine-based 4/4 to the raw, minimal, darker sides of disco and house. New voices include James Ken Bailey, who appears on the title track 'Estranged', 'Santo (Fear & Desire)' and 'Break Me'. His soulful, emotive vocals match the lush, minimal production of the album's title track and create a sweet contrast to the stark, jackin' house of 'Break Me'. Another discovery is Ahmad Larnes, from Queens, New York via Berlin, appearing on the Balearic houser 'Edge of Control' and album opener 'Witchwood'.
Fritz Helder, is one of Dinamo's oldest friends, and crops up solo on the pared back and funky 'Drexl', replete with its 'Black don't crack' refrain and provocative lyrics. Other guests include Nick Fiorucci who collaborates on 'Haçienda', a reinterpretation of his own 1989 rave classic, the piano line of which was the basis for so many early '90s hardcore classics (Slipmatt & Lime, Altern-8, Carl Cox, etc).

Yer boy Beato is back with a run of heavy-hitting club shit. As is come to be expected, all tracks sound like they've been put through the audial meatgrinder. Maybe they've been put through an actual meatgrinder. Absolutely killer.

Release number 003 from On Records, the label of Amsterdam artist and events agency ON and ON, is brought to us by label chief Jeff Rushin. Having already impressed with his 001 collaboration with Nicole Rosie and fresh from the success of his release for Wall Music, the main-man behind the agency's 2014 party season returns with a stunning new double-header.

The first installment of the label is created by four great artists who are Joton, Pulse One, Kalter Ende and the creator of this proyect Sarf in which they have tried to capture in each of its tracks his vision of techno.
Four tracks that will not leave anyone indifferent focused to break the dance floor.

Healing Bowl forms a timely collusion between an artist and label who've been converging on a mutual mesh of gutted D&B dynamics with techno tempos and dark ambient feels for some time now. It forms Simon Shreeves' debut release under his birth name after more than a decade of releases as part of Kryptic Minds, and more recently his techno-leaning solo output as Mønic for Tresor.
A match made in techno purgatory then, Healing Bowl metes out five pensile, nervepinched pieces defined by finely sculpted bass, shivering percussion and cranky concrète processing. Never showy, but with a nuanced atmospheric elegance and appreciation of proper body mechanics for the 'floor or bedroom.
A/SA falls down the trapdoor first with plummeting subs and spanked spring reverbs setting a crypt-like tone and spatial setting which bleeds thru into the title cut's rolling swagger and strafing, daemonic silhouettes, before A Thousand and One locates and locks into a dank pocket of plasmic bass and spectral vocal recital.
Sharada follows with a ghostlier, eldritch pallor of melodic development giving rise to sepulchral harmonics amidst fizzing, prickly percussion and elliptic sub bass curves, yet the EP's strongest dancefloor cut is saved for last with the elusive, entropic sound design of S/KA seeming to invert techno and D&B dynamics with vampiric lust and romance.
Shreeve has evidently found an empathetic and steadfast partner in Downwards. Here's to a lasting relationship.

A-Side Ambush is full on Alex Coulton: Moody atmospheres, sub-bass heavy and delicate percussion: traits which Coulton has become respected for. The restrained intro soon gives way to hypnotic conga drum patterns, maintaining momentum through Coulton's taut soundscapes.
Direction, with shuffling hats, soft pads and bright melody, is primed more for the dancefloor; the stuttering beats accelerating to 4/4 as the track progresses.

Matt Karmil is a British musician currently residing in Sweden. '++++' is his third album, following 2014's PNN debut '- - - -' and IDLE033, released on Bristol label Idle Hands earlier this year. His output also includes a variety of singles for labels such as New York's Beats In Space Recordings and Stockholm's Studio Barnhus.
On this new album, Karmil can be heard exploring the concepts of impossible objects, reflection, symmetry, infinity - perspective, truncated and stellated polyhedra - hyperbolic geometry, tessellations and lost love. While making the music that constitutes '++++' he interacted with mathematicians George Pólya, Roger Penrose and Harold Coxeter as well as the crystallographer Friedrich Haag, and also conducted his own research into tessellation.
The result is '++++', Karmil's most clever, strange, emotional and fun work yet, a testament to his breadth and depth as a musician. Did we forget to mention that he's an awesome party dj

After standout EPs on Willie Burns' W.T. Records and Phonica's own label, the mysterious Art Crime is back with a new EP on Creme Organisation. It is a four track affair that continues to showcase the producer's knack for ravey, texturally rich house and techno sounds with a rather haunting edge. 'Anxiety is Always Here' is a high tempo stomper with spooky pads and jangling, energetic melodies that reverberate in a dark night sky. 'The Owner' is rooted on firm kicks and has dark, lo fi atmospheres percolating all around as paranoid stabs and gothic keys rain down from above. 'Renessense' is then a rather more stripped back and groovy, deeper cut with slithering and icy hi hat patterns and sombre bass notes. Still, it retains a trance inducing sense of freakiness before closer 'Intention' close out the EP in lithe, soulful and hi tek techno fashion. This is eerie, freaky late night dancing music that has a strong sense of identity and is only likely to turn yet more people on to the little known Art Crime.

Homme - Realization For The Ear + Remixes - Interpretations is the first collaboration between Modular Expansion and Klik records.
Homme is an artistic collaboration between German producer Hendrik Vaak and Polish cellist Piotr Piesiak. 8 tracks composed of electronics and recordings from the cello, all balanced into a unique flavour of pulsating dub, ambient and classical influences. The music is driven by refined and subtle dub-techno rhythms which compliment the cello orchestrations and improvisations. The overall listening experience is elevated with the album's lyrical atmosphere while maintaining a solid relationship with the listener's body.
Completing the original tracks, the remixes compilation cdf from Nadja Lind, Dave Ellesmere, George Apergis, Ray Kajioka, Daniel Ramm, Sender Berlin, Mikael Delta, Scan Mode and Alex Retsis, works as its unique lyrical techno story. Making the trip from the opening aria with Nefeli'senchanting voice to Ray Kajioka's haunting remix on 'Ein Haufen' and Sender Berlin's club take on 'Drei Haufen' or George Apergis' nightmarish killer remix and back again with Alex Retsis' ambient experimentations. As a kid growing up in the state's tucked-away capital of Springfield, Justin Cudmore played the drums at home and in school as a jazz percussionist. In his college days Justin dove into electronic music, workshopping new-wave influenced beats in bands and DJing parties. Currently, Justin is a fixture across Brooklyn, popping up on dance floors and behind booths. 2015 saw his track, "Feeling,' released on the Denver-based label Deep Club. Crystal' is Cudmore's debut 12' single. Raw, rough and ready to rumble, Crystal' marries snaking acid lines and bouncy grooves to a sample from cult underground film classic 'The Queen'. On the flip is Detroit-bred and Bunker resident DJ Mike Servito's 730 Reshape', that gives the wiggly worm vibe harkening back to the early days of Transmat, Warp and the minimalism of Dan Bell's DBX project. L.I.E.S. mainstay Gunnar Haslam provides his Dekalb Avenue Remix' made while living in New York, a modular synth cruise with the top down. All tracks have been mastered and EQed for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley and labels are as pink as Crystal's lipstick.

Matt Karmil is a British musician currently residing in Sweden. '++++' is his third album, following 2014's PNN debut '- - - -' and IDLE033, released on Bristol label Idle Hands earlier this year. His output also includes a variety of singles for labels such as New York's Beats In Space Recordings and Stockholm's Studio Barnhus.
On this new album, Karmil can be heard exploring the concepts of impossible objects, reflection, symmetry, infinity - perspective, truncated and stellated polyhedra - hyperbolic geometry, tessellations and lost love. While making the music that constitutes '++++' he interacted with mathematicians George Pólya, Roger Penrose and Harold Coxeter as well as the crystallographer Friedrich Haag, and also conducted his own research into tessellation.
The result is '++++', Karmil's most clever, strange, emotional and fun work yet, a testament to his breadth and depth as a musician. Did we forget to mention that he's an awesome party dj

Five ultra-emotive and melody-saturated heavy hitters from Brooklyn producers Sasha Desree, Jan Woo, and Rezzie Avissar. Sasha Jan Rezzie is a classic house boy band from the future.
Debut 12' 'All My Dreams' is dense and loose and packed with distinctly stoned, romantic feelings filtered through deep house and progressive, breaks-inflected techno. Hazy, hands-in-the-air house peaks collide with OTT epiphanic vocal samples, mutated by clouds of lavender.

For the Basement Series nr. 17 we recruited dutch techno mainstay and Wolfskuil owner Darko Esser in his Tripeo guise. Three raw and uncompromising techno tracks crafted for our basement. It starts of with Kuebiko, a long drawn-out cut led by a trippy arpeggiated melody matched by a deep pulsating bass. Next is Nargy, an almost completely stripped to the barebones track that draws it energy from an undulating and relentless bassline. This one just keeps on going and going and going... As closer the quirky Qwerty where crisp hi-hats and snares set the pace over a modulating 'Hoodesque' melody that floats in and out of the track.

Starting from TH Pressing's first release, artist Tominori Hosoya has continued releasing his musics from labels such as deepArtSounds and Soiree Records. He is resident in Tokyo, and is the president of TH Pressing, which release a second vinyl finally.

Local Talk, The new and excellent producer John Shima, who has released from Ferox and Boe, Rai Scott, who runs a label with Brad Peterson and also releases from other labels, and finally, the man of experience, Rennie Foster, who has continuously been releasing masterpieces from many labels such as Subject Detroit. The 4 artists have been handed over the concept'music dedicted to the important persons, things and memories' from the previous piece, and has created an emotional and atmospheric opus. Vinyl only.

Beginning in 1974, based in New Zealand, the sound-performance group From Scratch used an evolving array of percussion instruments to create a distinctive rhythmic music, texturally rich and tonally sumptuous, making use of found and repurposed objects as well as custom-made percussion instruments.
And while the music has a sophisticated, fluid and intelligent polyrhythmic drive, pitched percussion features prominently, using microtunings and just intonation in tightly structured pieces which evolve and mutate, making use of intricate interlocking of melodic and rhythmic elements. Given their Pacific identity, one can find similarities with a number of Asian Pacific musics, their music will appeal to open-eared listeners interested in such musics, and it will also intrigue admirers of the early
work of Steve Reich and Terry Riley. Formed by Phil Dadson on his return to New Zealand following his late-60s involvement in the U.K.
with Cornelius Cardew's Scratch Orchestra, Auckland's From Scratch embraced an egalitarian ethic, focusing on co-operation, integration,
and the union of opposites. These principles are clearly heard in the music here, with all the players interlocking, with the music exploring and exploding the polarities of melody/rhythm, local/global, group/individual, minimal/maximal. These four tracks, ranging from 1974 to 1982 are propulsive and yet serene, percussive and yet
sweetly tonal, and toe-tappingly alert, an immersive and distinctive soundworld. All tracks here are newly remastered from the original
master tapes, "Passage" was their first recording and is previously unissued.

Leibniz takes no prisoners for his return to shtum. His new EP sees the Leipziger by choice in best form. Harsh but fair. ''Grind'' is a masterpiece in the matter of building up tension with only few but proper elements. Amen to that drumming and when the strings come in the dance floor is probably already burning. ''Foolish'' is no less effective with its ultimate kick drum action and the way the pads are manipulated. Romantic Leibniz. On the flipside you get the vibrant ''This Is'' in two versions. The ''Brecht Mix'' screams RAVE in capital letters with the bleepy synths and hard snare drum while the ''Scuff Mix'' trawls through dark and unearthy Techno territories. No-nonsense music. The artwork comes courtesy of DJ Shape and Carl-Johannes Schulze.

Perhaps Syria's most successful musical export, international singer Omar Souleyman has returned with his second proper studio effort and most personal album to date, 'Bahdeni Nami', coming this July from Monkeytown Records. For the new album Omar opened his doors to collaborations with a number of renowned electronic producers, all of whom were established fans keen to offer unique interpretations of Souleyman's established sound. Four Tet returns to produce a track, Gilles Peterson lends his considerable talents to one song, Modeselektor turn in the two fastest dance numbers of the set, and Legowelt offers a remix for the title track. Additionally Black Lips' Cole Alexander treats one of the heart-wounding ballads to a thoroughly distinctive remix that will appear on a 7' in August.

The new album was recorded closer to home, in Istanbul, and appropriately the singer is joined by traditional accompaniment. Souleyman has reunited with his favorite poet, Ahmad Alsamer (who penned his pre-west hits 'Kaset Hanzel', 'Khattaba', and 'Shift -al Mani'), heard throughout the album offering claps and wails of encouragement. The songs come alive with musical contributions and support from the virtuosic saz work of Khaled Youssef, another long time collaborator from his hometown. Keyboards by Rizan Said improvise devotedly to every tune and turn of Souleyman's choice. The lyrics are familiar territory for the singer - declarations of eternal love, consolation of one's aching heart, pleas to his lover to sleep in his arms forever - realized as four fast dance numbers, an introduction mawal, and an elaborate araby style ballad.

Omar Souleyman continues to tirelessly bring his wild dance party to all corners of the world, everywhere from SXSW to the Nobel Peace Prize Concert to rock clubs in cities around the world. Originating from the Hasake region of Syria, Omar earned his reputation by singing and leading years of weddings, birthdays, Christenings, corporate parties and more, answering invites from all peoples living in the region - be it Muslims, Christians, Kurds, Iraqis, Syriacs, Assyrians. Those parties yielded hundreds of cassette tapes at first offered as gifts and later distributed throughout the region and other Arab countries. Despite world's insistence to associate him with his home country's unending war, Omar gives back nothing but Love.

The next release on Diagonal comes from Streetwalker, the duo of Beau Wanzer and Elon Katz.
Titled Ooze, it's a shadowy, mechanistic dancefloor crusher, originally released as a limited
cassette single on the Catholic Tapes label in 2011. The 12' release for Diagonal is the first time this
sinister creature has been pressed to vinyl, now also accompanied by a remix from Silent Servant.
Following on from recent Diagonal album releases from Death Comet Crew and Russell Haswell, the Ooze 12' marks Streetwalker's first release since 2013's Future Fusion, their acclaimed, mind bending debut album of acid jams and scorched post-punk, released through the Minimal Wave-affiliated Cititrax label. Outside of Streetwalker, both members of the duo are known for their thrillingly brusque, exploratory transmissions: Katz is the mind behind White Car, while Wanzer has released music through Ron Morelli's L.I.E.S, both solo and with Mutant Beat Dance.Recorded, processed and overdubbed using an arsenal of hardware, including a rare E-mu modularsystem and a home-built light-sensitive synthesiser, it builds across twelve minutes from woody drums and spooked whispers into a disorienting, writhing mass of snakelike acid lines and corrosive noise. For his Silent Servant remix, Juan Mendez keep the atmosphere of the original intact — all grubby, soot-caked textures and a flat thud of a four-four rhythm — but sets it amid delicate drifts of melody, finding brief flashes of warmth amid the shade.

For the third release on De:tuned we proudly present The Kosmik Kommando AKA Mike Dred. Mike hardly needs an introduction; considered as one of the masters of the Roland TB-303 Mike has been releasing records under various aliases since the early 90s. He has recorded for high profile labels such as R&S and Rephlex as well as his own Machine Codes label. Together, with Aphex Twin, Mike was behind the Universal Indicator releases which are among the most collectible and sought after records in techno history.

De:tuned has worked closely with Mike to develop an 8 track project that gives props to the American Psychologist Timothy Leary and his proposed theory of 'The Eight-Circuit Model of Consciousness'. This model describes 8 circuits of information that operate within the human nervous system. Each circuit refers to a different sphere of activity, enhanced by experimentation with a particular substance. Each circuit also represents a higher stage of evolution than the one before it and the higher the circuit, the fewer the people have activated it as the higher four circuits exist for those who migrate to outer space and live extraterrestrially.

The 8 Models are applied to the track titles that present a varied collection integrating acid house, techno, electro and rave culture.

3 of the tracks on offer here were written exclusively for Mike's live performance at the De:tuned 'Meeting of Minds' event in June 2012, which was Mike's first full live show in 3 years.
