Munich boy continues his explorations in unpolished house meets techno journey with this new EP called 'Forever 16'. Crackles, noises and distorted bass kicks, perfectly combined with our young SCNTST's heart, will lead you through computers souls. The release is set to explode in late August, just in time when all the festival heat is fading away and all people are moving their hearts to the dancefloor surrounded with walls again.

When Hartmood sent us his stuff in the late eighties we were like 'Oh my gosh it's far too early for that kind of next gen shit!' We asked him if he was in a hurry. He said 'Do what ever you like!' More then two decades later we thought it was time to release his shit. And so we did. We asked Boris Bunnik and DCNT to do a remix and in the end we even had some more next gen shit!

After the double a-sided first single 'On The Edge / Perplexed' in June, we now bring you the 2nd single.
'Dirtro II' is definitely one of the standout cuts of the album and shows Ø (Phase) in his darkest and deepest mood. On the b-side he is joined by one of his biggest inspirations & one of techno's most legendary innovators: Robert Hood. The result is a carefully executed yet explosive peak time cut.

With L.I.E.S. 50th official release, London's Randomer appears as the first British artist to release on the label with his 'Residents' EP.
On this EP we get three out there diverse tracks with the title cut being a moody rhythmic, heads down yet upbeat percussion driven affair. 'Jakobs Dream' steps into the abstract tweaked out techno world, while 'Huh' which fills the entire b-side is a massive massive electro cut for the floor.

Stevie P is a youngster who is rapidly building a name for himself in the belgian Techno scene. One of those people who don't start their career by looking for the right hair dresser and a campaign manager, but who take their time to perfect the sound and DJ skills, and now gradually stepping out into the light. He has been steadily giving out demos too which already got him a few fans like Ben Klock or Spacid, just to name a few. We're very proud to be able to present you his EP, which will be available on vinyl of course.

Opening track "Constant" has a lot of belgian heritage in it, blasting off as a hard and mean mofo but evolving into more melodic sounds (reminds us of the old R&S releases of Robert Leiner and CJ Bolland) and keeping it interesting throughout. It would be a massive mistake just to listen to the beginning seconds, this track needs a full listening to understand the full potential indeed.

Emerging on the same side is "Emerge", an eerie techno trancer with plenty of weird business going on in the back to make you really get an unsettling, horror mood. If you dig the sets of Rodhad, Klock and alikes, you will probably dig this a lot.

On to the flip side for title track "Construct", a hard as nails, industrially distorted, mean growling dance floor destroyer that builds layer upon layer to become threatening as hell. This track caused mayhem on the floors where we heard it so far and we can't wait to hear it on yours. Ain't that marketing blah for ya.

Last but not least is definitely "Momentum", a bit the odd one out but we at Coincidence just loved it so much we kinda twisted Stevie's arm a bit to get it on the EP as well. Repetitive, dark echoes, banging basskicks and a distorted hi-hat, that's the stuff that makes us happy.

Lycaon launches Syntagma, its fourth release, a work of Aiken, an artist closely related to the distinctive sound of the label and one of the pillars that will hold its future production. An original cut and two remixes by Agony Forces, Lycaon owners, round off the tracklist of this release.

Aiken combines techno sound of the nineties with current formulas in the main theme, giving a new dimension to classic synthesizer sounds and rhythms vintage, making a direct track capable of shaking up any disco track. In the first remix, Agony Forces decompose the elements to deliver a new alternative viewpoint, making sounds mutations and variations in rhythm the protagonists in the beginning of the second side of the disc.

At the end of it, the two producers introduce atmospheres that broad up the sound palette, a hypnotic trip with industrial touches that converts the depth in the mark of the second remix and serves as the end to the fourth installment of Lycaon records.

Ikonika is in straight up banger mode on this EP, possibly her finest release to date. Confident, energetic and tough, these tracks are made from solid tour experience and made for big room dancing. The EP is made with an almost 3D sense of contrast, and a brilliant ability to balance dusty old school sounds and shinier new ones and reshape them into something that sounds really fresh.
'Position' kicks things off with rough kicks and snares that sound like they've been created in a foundry, mixed into rolling kicks lifted from a crumbling drum machine and vocals sliced and diced into sharp hallucinatory rhythms. 'Praxis' sounds like a track that could have come from her groundbreaking 'Contact, Want, Love, Have' debut album, except the straightforward melodies with droning synths and steamy drums over growling bass give the track a confident upgrade. 'Strawberry Underlay' builds melody lines over a single basic, repeating riff in quick succession while a series of interchangeable, tight old school drum patterns stop and start underneath in quick succession. It's a brilliant exercise in dynamics and tension. 'Wakeup Sequence' sounds like freestyle pop driven into strange Atari game shapes, bubbling arpeggios, rough, funky melodies, ancient drum machines, and distorted guitar synth and weird squeaks.

Lee Gamble is a UK-based artist and electronic music producer with roots in the original jungle-techno and extreme computer music fields. In 2012 he released a couple of highly acclaimed records via PAN, 'Dutch Tvashar Plumes' and 'Diversions 1994-1996', that refracted dancefloor and home-listening dimensions into trippy new head-spaces which touched a raw nerve with ravers young and old(er). He's since expanded those records into live audio-visual performance with fellow CYRK collective founder Dave Gaskarth and continues monthly broad- casts of his NTS radio show.The 'Kuang' EP heralds the release of Gamble's keenly awaited 2nd LP 'KOCH' (due September '14) with three tracks of dissociative ambient/techno. 'Kali Wave' opens with a bittersweet breakbeat roller sounding something like early AGCG playing in a hall of mirrors, whereas 'Mimas Skank' diffuses oily acid and dry dub techno inna dancefloor wormhole, and the detached ambient drift of 'Girl Drop' rends a gasp of post-rave bliss into twelve minutes of spectral sublime or precipitous dread, depending on your perspective.

To celebrate the birth of a new techno label called 'Ressort Imprint' the extremely talented german 'Strck' delivers an outstanding 4-Tracker including 2 originals and 2 remixes. The young guy from Dortmund already approved his skills on making heavy but still incredibly groovy techno on Labels like Kaputt before joining the re-established Ressort Family.
The EP contains the title track called Tendenz with a strong leadchord and one hell of a grooving drum-architecture, 100% Struck! Tendenz received a remix-treatment by Modularz-Mastermind 'Developer', he delivered 3 outstanding remixes. One of them can be find one the vinyl, the others are only available as a digital bonus. He takes the track into a more industrial sphere and chooses a very straight and abstract path for his interpretation.
The second original is called Ektan. This one features a very cool filtered and washed out leadsynth and scrubbing hats, definitely a good choice for the primetime. Ektan has been remixed by our familymember 'Glos', he gave his 'Flickering Light Remix' an extremely deep touch by using a lot of atmospheric pads. He keeps the dynamic by using straight drums and repeating noises, this one could be considered as an introtrack for your sets.

We've got the two titans teaming up once again on 'Eternity', and there is no letting up as the cyclic sensibilities and swirling pads engulf the unsuspecting listener, letting the crackling rhythm section lead the way to the intense breakdown, reminding us exactly of who we are listening to.
Subtle details add to the grandiosity of the whole affair, and yet another lesson in anthem-construction has been delivered by the two masters.

New release on legendary Leo Anibaldi's imprint Cannibald, this time from Zooloft masters Giorgio Gigli and Obtane.
The EP starts with a strong acidic Techno driver that creates a perfect synergy between mind and body.
Mad circuits modulate a breathless ride of stomping hypnotism for modern floors. Leo Anibaldi, on the flip, pushes forward the original content to a next level, adding more strength and stripping down acid elements to deliver a killer darker version.
KC1's remix completes the release with a heavy industrial take on Zooloft's original, adding darkness and power to this monster.

Alan Backdrop's first EP on Enklav014. The third physical release for the italian label with Salko. Buried vaguely melodic ambiance grows and expands in the most surpising fashions within rigid structures.
Side A comes with two tracks whose spine consists in upright, inflexible rhythmic phrases. While an atmosphere of echoing undefined notes that unfold onto the main pattern of Ch-x, the muddy, obscure bassline and the driving pulsation of Dp3 form an elastic cohesion, whose tension is released and dropped at crucial times in the most subtle and gentle way.

On the B side, Meamb carries on with uprising stabbed chords through a less conventional rhythm leading the main theme, and Snit has a dark and distant sound with ever progressing percussions which rumble and float around a straight and decise beat. Ending Salko is a fast paced astounding combination of soft, evaporating but tight cymbals upon a one chord theme, led by a merciless sharp, stinging kickdrum.

Label-head Anthony Parasole and analogue warlord Phil Moffa are back to The Corner! Both have beaten a rugged path since dropping their first collab, with Parasole dropping a quickstrike one-sided Corner cut amongst others, and Moffa going on to work with DJ Spider for a killer 12". Mark's classic 'Shooting Stars' was originally released on the late great 'Offshoot' label in 1998 and became an underground hit, seeing support from a variety of DJ's including Derrick May, Cajmere and of course, Ben Sims.

Fast forward 15 years and this uncompromising tough edged disco workout still gets dropped and is highly sought after on the second hand vinyl market, so we thought it was time for a respectful remix package.

First up is a brand new firing makeover from the man himself that jacks in all the right places while staying true to original groove, then label head honcho Ben Sims who drops an intense Lil Louis inspired reworking. Few people stand for a real underground approach to techno like ADAM X does. For over 20 years he has been right in the center of the scene. Before moving to Berlin he ran the Sonic Groove record shop in NYC for 15 years. The Sonic Groove label also owned by Adam is still a dominating force in the scene and has released music of legends like Abe Duque, Blake Baxter, Frankie Bones, Kevin Saunderson and many more. With djing, producing music Adam in recent years has received a lot of support from people like Chris Liebing and many others for his productions as ADAM X as well as for his aliases TRAVERSABLE WORMHOLE, ADMX-71.
Adam's sound is dark and heavily influenced by his passion for industrial and old school EBM music. With COERCIVE PERSUASION on the A-side he combines these influences with a functionality that can only derive from his extensive touring as a dj and live act. It is a dark anthem that will destroy all real techno floors. No doubt. The B-side DEPROGRAMMING SEQUENCE comes along with driving bells that give the stomping beat of the track a little uplift and therewith balances out the heavy dark side of the EP.

For its 37th release, Throne of Blood reaffirms its love for all things French, with a new EP by one of the country's finest ambassadors: Chloé. The Kill the DJ co-founder found time in her relentless DJ schedule to deliver two originals to form the backbone of the aptly named "Smash" EP. Two cracking remixes round out the release.

The techno duo doesn't know their origin exactly - their memories go back to dark but also jolly times at an animal shelter in antwerp where they were kept until MUM, their recently deceased fostermother picked them up, to have them join her 21 other pets. It was a hard childhood, not even knowing what type of mam- mal you were, but the toughest part was being relentlessly used by ´MUM ´as a sex slave, having to fulfill all her sexual desires in order to get a bit of food.
Then the confusion that arose when MUM was killed having sex with her oldest aquisition 'Bob' the german shepherd who couldn't take it anymore and ate her face - the poor guy was put down right in front of their face. Now, being freed from the clutch of MUM Furfriend look into the bright future of being popstars, know- ing this is what they were born to do.
DAS UBERDOG has been listening to MUMs records on headphones ever since he found the power switch for the stereo - it was clear back then he would become an awesome producer. DINGO TUSH, the singer of the duo, howled the melody of `my favourite things ´when MUM was watching her favourite show: 'The sound of music' - they were clearly bound to become a music production team. It just had to happen even- tually.
These times are long past now, but they have left a mark on their souls which they heartbreakingly sing about in songs like 'GECK' 'FIST FUCK' or 'SHEPHERD' which relates to the tough life, herding sheep just after MUM had passed away.
Originally based in Antwerp the duo has now made a move for berlin.
'Antwerp was just not the right place for us. As much perversion as there is in belgium, it is the people of Berlin we love for the open sexual deviance present all over Berlin We think this is the right breeding ground (haha) for our art.' says DINGO TUSH, the band ´s cockslinging singer. Saved's latest offering is a collaboration between label boss Nic Fanciulli and the legendary Josh Wink. Originally released back in the nineties the record has been re-done for a fresh 2012 remix. This has been bubbling under for a long time and has been massive for both
the artists in their sets and now it gets a full release on Saved.

"Winter Sampler 2013 #1" opens with the jerky, post-punk nodding funk of "Emperor," from the promising and much hyped Brooklyn outfit Beige, an imminent anthem perched somewhere between house, techno and psychedelic pop---and superseding of all of it with its sheer scope, ambition and originality. Freitag's First Vinyl: The Beauty of Dueling Creative Energies

Almost Over is a first on a couple of fronts— it's the first finished collaborative project between Submerge and Ricardo Garduno, and it's Freitag's first release on vinyl.

But 'Almost Over'— what does this title mean, anyway Not as deep as you'd think; it comes from the first serious in-studio brainstorm between Submerge (Orlando Solis) and Ricardo Garduno, owner of Illegal Alien Records. After a gig one night they gathered at the studio, broke out the Heinekens, and got to work putting together the tracks that until now they'd only talked about.

Two days later the phrase 'almost over' had become a standing joke, summing up that common phenomenon of the artistic process when you think you're finished but then you see another thing that needs to be done . . . and another thing . . . and another thing . . . and another thing . . .

The happy result is four fantastic tracks that are deep, funky and energetic at the same time.

The title track is a subtle number with clicky, deep, dubby beats, a ton of atmospheric pads, and a long, silky breakdown that will take listeners on a deep and mindful journey. Last but far from least, Zadig is a producer who has been regularly catching our attention. Growing figure of the French and Parisian scene, his polished sound possesses many different facets. With 'Panic', Zadig looks back to some of the crudest moments of the Tresor catalog.

the late 2000s on Melbourne labels such as Pinksilver, Melbourne Deepcast and his own Haul Music; also on labels based further
afield such as Brendon Moellerís Steadfast, Speedy Jís Electric Deluxe, Telrae and Project Squared.
Sub Squared is a sub-label of Project Squared, a label whose back catalogue features releases by Kowton, AnD, Asusu, Tom Dicicco
and Shifted. After a strong start with Ghostek's Garage and dark Techno encompassing "No Way Out EP" in September 2013, Sub
Squared's sophomore release changes tone with Craig McWhinney's "System EP". Three tracks of Techno, heavy but subtle and
melodic but still rhythmically driven, each of McWhinney's tracks would both suit a nuanced peak time or warm up set.
"Pulse For Harvest", cut at 45rpm, lollops along at a very swung, almost broken 124bpm contrasted with hints of Dub Techno in the
sparse melody and focused dancefloor energy coming through with a single well placed hi-hat. On the B-side, "Citadel" is a rollicking
128bpmer, a melody churning throughout and embellished with various percussive accompaniment at different stages of the track. A
more restrained "Six Hundred Furlongs" rounds off the EP, clocking up 127bpm. Vocal snippets and a call and response percussive
melody providing the driving force along with a deep kick drum.

A1. Motechnique Itokim's opening gambit on Subject Detroit certainly leaves a dent. To true DJ Bone fans, Motechnique will have eyebrows raised and mouths open from the off with it
having been a staple component of Bone's three deck attacks in recent months. Weighty but warm kicks start as they mean to go on, bursting with pace and vigour as thrusts and stabs pinprick the brooding chords. The composition continues to explode with ever more rapturous flourishes of orchestral verve as synth and melody are thickened, acting as a backdrop to a brutal yet beautiful assault of wild, stabbing strings. Itokim delivers a magnificent forgery of might and magic with Motechnique, with all the hallmarks of a classic-to-be.
A2. Roll Up and Shine The laid back, easy-going connotations of the title are very much the ethos and aesthetic of Itokim's second contribution to the Subject Japan: Rhythm Poems EP. The
playful, bubbling melody sets a warm and almost sugary tone from the off before being bolstered by a suave melange of full-bodied kick and dexterous percussion. Swirling and
smiling from start to finish, Roll Up and Shine, is a sumptuous merge of insistent groove and radiant warmth that is guaranteed to raise a smile even on the darkest of

Itokim rounds off his first outing on Subject Detroit with The Mood Device, a tothe-point groover that melds elements of both Motechnique and Roll Up and Shine to
stunning effect. A genuine builder of a track with a straight and true trajectory, The
Mood Device melds innumerable coatings of percussion and synth as stabs are layered and
layered again, clotting and coagulating the composition in to one delightfully deep
and multidimensional slice of formidable dancefloor composite.

Les Disques De La Mort is the new and highly anticipated label from Ivan Smagghe & The Ginger Prince. Their first release is by the true originals Rimini maestros Margot, featuring a spellbinding remix courtesy the one and only Erol Alkan. Previously released as a very limited white label, this ecstatic 12" now gets a full release!!

Margot who have previously released on luminaries such as Kill The DJ, Border Community and Hell Yeah!, are now given the esteemed honors of opening the Les Disques De La Mort coffin, and we could not have picked up better caretakers. Their Club Mix is an over-fast, Detroit infused earth-shaker, it sparseness balanced with a Franck Tovey / Soft Cell vocal romp sung in an undistinguishable language. The Original version on the inside cut is even more evocative of Marc Almond but shredded backwards through a blender, and slowed down to an almost eighties electronic glam beat. On the flip, Erol Alkan reworks the original to epic proportions. Erol has been a huge fan of Margot (he compiled them on his Bugged Out! "Inside" cd) and his admiration comes to life in a respectful but transcendental interpretation. Managing to combine elements of both versions, Erol then adds his own unique production magic and a transmogrifying piano line (dare we say "italo rave") that lifts the whole affair to new heights.

After their wonderful EP from a year ago, the Fishermen are ready to take you on a diving trip with their very first album, an accomplishment in itself With 'Patterns and Paths', Thomas Jaldemark (YTA) and Martin Skoggehall (MRSK, Smell The Flesh) have crafted a rather mesmerizing story of abstract and figurative tropes altogether, and eerie is probably the best word to describe the general mood of this, but hard and raw eeriness! The affair starts with 'Green Horn', a gentle foreplay setting the tone for an imminent journey into the lightless abysses. 'Hope Is gone' further enhances the incoming grim turn of events in a coil-like fashion before 'Serpents' makes our feet and hips take over our fear of the unknown. The trance has indeed begun and we're soon entering a hidden warehouse rave cave of un-earthy shamanism, the unforgiving stomp of 'Get None'. 'Dyspnea' manages to find a path into deeper regions the groove shift towards a darker funk with 'Lost Teeth', a caribbean techno banger that'd wake any zombie in the making! 'The Four Skulls' suddenly hints of a safer journey with healing percs and melancholic pads, but 'Rise' soon shatters those false hopes with an evil lurking motoric groove. Then, you hit 'Scurvy' where the pace slows down a little only to introduce the seductive side of this gloomy adventure, a challenge to you feet inducing lascivious moves. Keeping you in trance, 'In Solitude' kind of combines both previous tracks strengths with an added Twin Peaks value. Now finally reaching the far bottom of the ocean, the mood gets even more claustrophobic with 'Sunken Mosque', the last stage of this trance before maybe getting back to the surface. Indeed, if 'Torments' might let you catch a breath of air, it is filled with minerals, the world above has changed, and you might very well feel safer back under the water, a reverse mirror to Mike Ink's old Gas project. While this tour guide concludes his narration, the Skudge camp proudly hopes to see you embark on it very soon!

Few DJs and producers have had the longevity and success that Jerome has had throughout his career and even fewer can lay claim to having graced such esteemed labels as Planet-E, Drumcode, Defected and Renaissance to name but a few. On the 'Bicept' EP Jerome Sydenham takes time out from running his renowned house imprint Ibadan Records to deliver the fantastic four track 'Bicept EP' for Desolat. The EP kicks off with 'Bicept', a driving house track with incessant warm bass which cleverly builds through smartly placed additional crisp percussion and short echoing vocal snippets. Jerome demonstrates his production expertise on 'This Door', injecting the track with some serious funk, combining uplifting keys and warm pads, resulting in a track that has all the right ingredients to be one of the anthemic house records of the Summer. 'With The Bone' is another Dancefloor focused track, combining sharp stabs, a meandering synth and a short sharp vocal to devastating effect. Rounding off the EP, 'The Jockey' sees Jerome combine brilliantly with the Berlin based Greek producer Quell, whose debut album was released on Ibadan recently. 'The Jockey' is a hypnotic and hedonistic journey, complete with pumping percussion, rolling vocals and raw sounds perfectly suited to move a packed club.

The English born Mark Reeve is an old-school Techno producer. There is no schmaltz, no loop fiddling and no cheap sensationalism in his tracks, which are aiming at the big Techno floors. Dark, kicking and with an incredible amount of energy, he creates Techno tracks that allow no escape. The opener 'With Us' shows all this in an impressing way. The kettle-like ride cymbals and the 'Spaced Out' vocals generate an almost mystical atmosphere. The mighty bass grounding does the rest: go for it - nothing more, nothing less! 'From The Soul' slows down the whole thing a bit, however it's still a pumping and lively track. Certainly, Reeve offers more variety in the arrangement, with long breaks and monstrous chords that should make any after hour boil over. Reeve's 'Antidote' sounds like a trip through time, back to the golden days of Berlin's Tresor club. Detroit meets Berlin: demanding, decent and full of testosterone. For fans of Slam and Gary Beck! 'Initial Spark", Reeve's collaboration with Ingo Boss, is a great DJ tool. A cool, kicking groove with much room for long mixes and some DJ work behind the decks. No artificial mood elevators and no Ableton DJ fireworks, but rather solid Techno that leaves the DJ still be a DJ and doesn't take the work out of his hands. So, Reeve delivers a true Reeve. Also his cooperations with Pig & Dan and his releases on Soma or Traum are shining through here. For those who like it a little more tough!

US Techno Legend Paul Birken steps up for Candela Rising with 3 original tracks, all topped off with a remix from Scottish duo, Clouds.
Raw analog jams covering dark soundscapes, acidic brutality and the outright insane.

Powell returns to his own Diagonal imprint with a three-headed monster of a 12', his first on the label since 2012's Body Music. Since then he's released a pair of acclaimed 12's through The Death Of Rave and Liberation Technologies, as well as remixes for Silent Servant and Ike Yard, all of which have tracked his musical aesthetic as it's gradually been scrubbed, honed and fully articulated for the dancefloor. The result, then, is Club Music, where Powell's characteristic arsenal of scrabbling synthesiser dirt, ruffneck drum and vocal samples and air of nocturnal cheekiness are put to the service of three livewire percussive workouts, each bristling with energy. While the influence of both techno and early drum & bass was detectable in Powell's early
music, here those genres aren't so much channelled as ruthlessly stripped down for parts, their atmosphere and momentum transferred into brutally funky beat tracks that charge forward with
gleeful intensity. They find Powell increasingly operating in his own space, forsaking the current vogue for swiftly laid-down hardware jams to focus on intricately crafted arrangements, with these three tracks often taking sudden jarring changes in direction, or slinging unexpected detail in the mix to throw dancers off kilter. 'So We Went Electric', matching its title, sparks like a cable gone haywire, spitting arcs of raw blue energy through the mix amid spidery distorted guitars and moaned vocals. 'No U Turn' is bonedry yet hot-blooded funk, its drums and bass strutting back and forth in an overdriven frenzy. And 'Maniac', which features Russell Haswell ringing the life out of a Devil Fish TB-303, roundsClub Music off at its murkiest and most grimey, peaking repeatedly in a scrambled, angry mess ofyelled voice, smashed instruments and amplifier buzz — flipping the atmosphere of an almightyonstage punk band strop into contorted, fucked up basement acid.

On PSYK´s new 'Eclipse' EP, CLR finally releases a track that Chris Liebing has been playing all summer long on all kinds of occasions. 'Eclipse' formed an essential part of countless of his sets, which says a lot about the quality of this outstanding production. The label-head has even called it his 'track of the summer", a royal accolade for young Manuel Anós pka PSYK, a highly inspiring and respected artist from Madrid. Like other similarly contagious tracks, 'Eclipse' also has an intoxicating, elegantly rolling beat and loads of well defined bass. The general choice of sounds and atmospheres has a somewhat trippy and otherworldly yet uplifting feel, which beautifully combines with the driving character of the track. The EP does not include any edits or remixes, so what you get is this one powerful piece of music, this authentic milestone production by the Spanish DJ/producer. PSYK stands for raw power with a very subtle and pleasant touch, characteristics that have gained him massive praise and support in the global scene. SOMA RECORDS MAIN MEN SLAM WITH A DOUBLE HEADER FOR ADAM BEYER'S DRUMCODE LABEL !!

The medieval alchemists were obsessed with anti-poles; often exploring the possibilities to mix substances and energies together that were considered to belong to opposite elements, trying to merge them into new, higher forms. Sometimes with impressive results that have effected the development of modern chemistry and medicine. And sometimes, of course, resulting in their covert workshops being blown to smithereens. In any case, mixing opposites is always an interesting project, and that brings us to the present release from Kontra-Musik. On the one hand, we have Swedish National Treasure Andreas Tilliander and his already classic TM404-album. On the other hand we have Svreca, the dark prince of Semantica Records and the heir to Oscar Mulero. We thought it would be most interesting to blend these clearly diverse elements together. We where right. There is a very clear and constant division through the entire release. On one hand you have the warm, fuzzy analogue dubbiness of TM404, on the other hand you have the focused, trimmed and piercing techno from Svreca. Where TM404 brings out beams of acid sunlight from his silver boxes, Svreca conjures up a starless night with his relentless beats. It's a bit like Saruman was given the permission to remix a Gandalf record. TM404 + Svreca. A piece of modern Alchemy, brought to you from the Kontra-Musik workshop.

Killekill is proud to present EOMAC's 'Spectre', the debut album from Dublin-based producer Ian McDon- nell, a rising star in the techno scene. Spectre also marks the label's first full-length album release.
Ian is better-known as half of the Irish duo Lakker and this album is certainly carved from the same cold slab of stone. His music has already gained huge support from the likes of Tommy Four Seven, Ellen Allien, Thom Yorke and the one and only Aphex Twin himself.
Bleepy, slo-mo synth lines, dense textures, saturated bassdrums and hand-sliced vocals dunked in cavern- ous reverb - Spectre is all about EOMAC doing what he does best, taking our concepts of club sound and contorting them into something that is truly his own.
The melodies are slo-mo and lo-fi, the pads, exquisitely lush and textured. Ian's amazing sound-design (bordering on the intense in some places) and incredible attention to detail makes this an album where each listen reveals a deeper layer. Spatters of noise, shards of broken beat and relentlessly pounding techno rhythms also make it a dancefloor-decimating weapon.

Those who are familiar with their techno will know that the genre doesn't get much more intense than it does on the music of Orphx and Ancient Methods. The former are Canadian duo Richard Oddie and Christie Sealey, whose 20 odd years of experience has seen them release an extensive catalogue of albums, cassettes and EPs, most notably for Adam X's Sonic Groove label. Formerly a two piece act, Ancient Methods meanwhile is the current solo concern of a Berlin-based artist who has worked alongside Adam X, Kareem, Regis and whose music is similarly relentless in tone.

The three artists unite now under the name Eschaton for a forthcoming self-titled four track EP on Token.

Side A by RAWFILA is consisted of, "gravity," a dope minimal track, from a combination of soft noise and hypno parts, with a stoic roaring beat that accelerates with a metallic dub effect, and "debris," an Industrial Techno track with an edged dope synth. Side B with "A.MOCHI's" remix of "gravity," a masterpiece of dangerous deep dub techno, is created with his trademark of uncompromising bass and heavy percussion. Between sleep and the void lies the electronic interzone of Actress. Following the noted 2010 album Splazsh (voted number one in The Wire magazine's Top 50 Releases Of The Year) South London producer Darren Cunningham returns with a suite of electronic laments, tone structures and dreamtime rhythms which all carry his unmistakable fingerprint. R.I.P. comprises fifteen tracks painstakingly crafted by Cunningham in his London studio over recent years, with a conceptual arc taking in death, life, sleep and religion. 'I'm just an instrument,' Cunningham avers. 'I'm completely dead when I write.'

This June will see Teng label-head Nick Woolfson aka AKRA make a triumphant return to his imprint, with a three track single entitled the 'Los Peros' EP. Nick Woolfson initially rose to fame via his collaborative work with Duncan Stump as Mock & Toof
among other aliases, though the past two years have seen Woolfson explore a new venture, namely AKRA. This new material has predominantly been released via his own Teng imprint where he returns here, a label, which since its inception has seen tracks released from the likes of Neville Watson,
Nubian Mindz, Paul Mac and Louis Guilliaume.
Title cut 'Los Peros' kicks off the EP, a brooding, stripped-back number led by growling saw-wave bass tones, an understated percussive movement and smooth Rhodes chords. Woolfson introduces intricate nuances in the groove and subtle progressions in the elements over the tracks six and a half minute duration to create a gritty and intriguing composition. 'Cairns' follows, staying on a similar tip with penetrating bass sounds acting as the driving force, although AKRA instills some additional musicality this time by fusing ethereal pad lines, dreamy arpeggiated sounds and an amalgamation of ethnic vocal samples, again resulting in an intelligent slice of contemporary electronic music. The release is then rounded off with 'Walk Don't Walk', a classy closing cut which delves into deeper realms, this time tipping the focus towards mellow, dusty atmospherics, a hypnotic acid hook and glitchy resonant synth sounds. While the raw organic percussion and weighty rhythms drive the
groove.

Influenced by his life in a windowless studio (from which he was recently booted due to rent hikes) and composed entirely of battered wax and living tech,Vicetopiacrumbles and thrives under an asphalt-infused haze. This is the score for mutant, cannibalistic pigeons struggling to escape a radioactive wasteland of skeletal brownstones and seething subway tunnels.Vicetopiadoesn't give a fuck about your soundsystem, snapbacks, or overpriced parties.Vicetopiais a shaman of a species left to survive after the carnage has passed, leaving scores of wack producers to ferment in techno's vast and unforgiving graveyard.
