another hot record from the commander tom project classics !!!

Every year since 2004 Armin did a year mix of the biggest tunes of my radioshow. Since 2005 he's releasing these mixes on double CD and online. Many people have been requesting to release the very first one that was never released on CD.

So here it is! A STATE OF TRANCE YEARMIX 2004.
The very first year mix Armin did for his weekly radioshow A State of Trance Episode 182. This mix was originally broadcasted on January 6th 2005.

The idea was to capture the sound of 2004 in a 2 hour mix, based on the votes by the listeners for the top 20 of the year.
That top 20 was broadcasted the week before but Armin felt a lot of really good tunes were left out! That's why the idea for a year mix was born.

For all the fans this is a great opportunity to make the series complete!

This December we will release the 11th mix A STATE OF TRANCE YEARMIX 2014!!

The anticipation factor has been tremendous... The hype and buzz around Dash Berlin's latest (and some say most impressive) studio album was undeniable.

Dash was quoted as saying: "at the end of the day, it's going to be your soundtrack, to your life, so let's do this together". And so 'We Are' was born - out of a love for the fans that helped build the current #10 DJ in the world into what he is today.

Ever since 'Till the Sky Falls Down' first changed the world (and helped define the special sound of Dash Berlin), fans have been hungering for the next expression of musical delight to spring forth from one of the world's most celebrated entertainers. In witnessing Dash's promotion leading up to the release, there was an unmistakable spark present in his communication with his fans.

Despite being limited by the 140 character medium, it is obvious that Dash Berlin has been brimming with pride with each and every teaser - clearly this is much more than a project to the artist. And it shows. Finding a breakaway track in the album is almost impossible. These eight tracks could all be considered potential anthems, and each one would be right at home on the radio.

3LAU, John Dahlback, Rigby, Roxanne Emery, Jay Cosmic, BullySongs, Adam Jensen, Disfunktion, Chris Arnott, Bright Lights, Syzz and Collin McLoughlin all came to the aid of 'We Are', helping to build the classics that will undeniably shape Dash Berlin's career for many years to come.

There is no stopping Above & Beyond right now. From becoming the first UK DJs to sell out Madison Square Garden to their capacity ABGT050 show at London's legendary 10,000 Alexandra Palace, the London-based trio continue to cement themselves as scene leaders in the electronic music world.

Always separating from the pack and exploring a deeper musicality, the band also recently embarked on their bold Acoustic project - a show that was described as 'one of the most memorable in dance music history' by Billboard, who witnessed the two sold out concerts at LA's iconic Greek Theatre.

Again sidestepping the current trends for instant gratification, Above & Beyond's 'Anjunabeats Volume 11' instead reaches deeper and concentrates on the lost art of the build - joining the dots between deep house, progressive, modern trance and forward-thinking big room sounds. Much like their eclectic weekly Group Therapy Radio Show (weekly listenership of over 20 million), the focus is on quality and musicality rather than genre alone.

For this 11th edition of their iTunes #1 Dance Album series, Jono, Tony and Paavo have created a two-hour plus journey that draws inspiration from classic, carefully crafted mix CDs like Sasha & Digweed's iconic 'Northern Exposure' and the iconic Renaissance mixes.

Beginning on the atmospheric deep house of 'You Would' by Thomas Schwartz and Fausto Fanizza, the first mix includes highlights such as Matt Lange's beautifully weighted update of Above & Beyond's own fans favourite 'Good For Me', Parker & Hanson's classically informed 'Gravity' and the Matt Lange's epic 'Staccato'. The mix also includes some Group Therapy Radio favourites that have been specifically licensed in for the compilation such as Konstantin Sibold's hypnotic rework of 'No One Gets Left Behind' By DJ Yellow, Flowers & Sea Creatures and Guy J's epic remix of 'Overture' by Twice As Nice - as well as a closing epic in Maor Levi & Jerome Isma-Ae's peaktime update of Underworld's iconic 'Dark & Long'.
Picking up where the first mix left off, the second outing carefully works up the gears with tracks such as Audien's modern progressive anthem 'Hindsight'. Super8 & Tab & Jaytech's brilliantly hooky 'Code Red' and Sunny Lax's 'Karma'.

With the label bosses offering up a raft of exclusive and unreleased sounds, the mix also features the current Above & Beyond single 'Sticky Fingers' featuring Alex Vargas, as well a an exclusive new remix of the OceanLab classic "Satellite" courtesy of man of the moment ilan Bluestone. Closing on the epic rushes of another unstoppable Anjunabeats talent in Andrew Bayer's "The District", 'Anjunabeats Volume 11' marks another year of forward-motion from the critically acclaimed Anjunabeats label.

After a brief hiatus from releasing singles, Gary has been spending the time crafting his debut artist album which looks certain to once again launch him back into the premier league of trance producers.

The CD album is mixed and contains 13 tracks of which 11 are previously unreleased. This is definitely NOT a "Best Of" collection.

Gary's fans will immediately recognise his unique style which runs like a pulsating blood vessel through the mix. Throbbing basslines and deep techno grooves mix seamlessly with strong hooks and even an assortment of vocals to create an album shows just how a single artist trance album should be produced.

From the dramatic introduction all the way through to the uplifting final title track, this album delivers on so many levels and will leave you smiling, safe in the knowledge that.....

GARY MAGUIRE IS BACK!!!

'Armada Collected' is a new series dedicated to bringing you the best hits from the world of dance music. The first to have the honor of presenting an Armada Collected album fittingly goes to Sunlounger. Sunlounger has put out many excellent records before, and now was the perfect chance to bring the best Sunlounger songs to the world.

Roger Shah has made a name for himself catering to the needs and desires of Balearic-minded people everywhere. Forever capturing the essence of Ibiza, Shah created the alias 'Sunlounger' to take his beach vibes one step further.

To play this album is to engage in a unique experience - it's to take a trip to the Spanish islands in your mind, or if you are lucky enough to already be somewhere coastal, to help you escape the drudgeries of reality and enjoy the present moment.

With tunes like 'White Sand', 'The Beach Side of Life', 'Mojito', and 'Lost Together', it's crystal clear (like 'Aguas Blancas') what kind of vision Sunlounger wanted to paint with this album. Listen to the crashing waves, the swirling Spanish guitar, and let beautiful vocals caress your eardrums.
'Roger Shah Presents: Sunlounger' aims to take you to a simpler, more beautiful side of life, and he succeeds brilliantly.

3 years is a long time in dance music... Time and space can appear to move that much faster still if you've spent it crusading the cause of Pure Trance, reclaiming your place as one of the world's hottest 100 DJs in the process. It's exactly that interval since Electronic Architecture - Solarstone's much praised, IDMAnominated, boundary breaking music-vs-art project - series received its second (or 2Squared) edition.

With Pure Trance catalysing club floors globally, Solarstone now picks up the Electronic Architecture story with this, its extraordinary trilogy-completing outing. The release, now boosted into a triangulation of three mixes, provides the long-awaited bridge back into 'EA's standalone dominion. Containing music from returning Architects, it also features many debutante engineers - subjects of the influence of the first two albums audio and imagery. With mix#1's tone, tempo and technique tracking the first album's progressive/trance compression, the second finds Solarstone integrating Pure Trance motifs into 'EA's.

sonic ethic. Solarstone is an artist who musically always has something fresh to 'say'.
Underlining that, with its third disc he becomes the first headlining DJ to shine a light on a new, audibly emerging electronic music subculture.

Ministry of Sound is proud to present the gathering of 2 giants: Trance Nation - 'the Super-Bowl of trance mix comps!' (MIXMAG) - and those festival rocking trance icons, Aly & Fila. After the phenomenal success of Anthems Trance from Ministry of Sound at end of last year, the foundations have been well and truly laid for the return of the world's most legendary Trance series..

Former compiler/mixers of the multi-million selling Trance Nation series have included UK DJ eminence like Above & Beyond, Lange and Andy Moor, as well as Euro-heroes Ferry Corsten, Cosmic Gate and Rank 1. Now, joining that list Aly & Fila masters of the club, festival stage and studio - as well as Top 20 favourites in DJ Mag's Top 100 annual poll - bring the series some serious Eastern spirit.

With music procured studio-fresh direct from the desks of some of their most trusted production legion, Aly & Fila's Trance Nation contains a massive 14 Album Exclusives. It also features work from numerous heavyweight trance operators, including the likes of John O'Callaghan, The Thrillseekers, Lange, John Askew, Ronski Speed and, naturally, much from Aly & Fila themselves.

Sourced from some of Europe's most established trance houses (Armada, Black Hole Recordings, Garuda, Subculture and A&F's own Future Sound Of Egypt), 2014's 'Trance Nation' touches down in the thick of a synth firestorm. James Dymond's 'Solidus', 'Next Level' from Irish pairing Sneijder & Bryan Kearney and A&F's entrancing re-edit of Luke Bond & Roxanne Emery's 'On Fire' all deliver high-arcing synths up top... and bass-bin kickin' LFO below! Neptune Project's 'Lost All My Tears' opens the gateway to a sequential rush of scene-wide legends. Both Andain's classic 'Beautiful Things' and Aly & Fila/John O Callaghan collab 'Your Heart Is Mine' (in their newly remixed Fady & Mina forms) swell the sonics, as do the daisy-cutting drums of John Askew's 'Mechanism' and Ronski Speed's positively empyrean 'Fiero'. With its climactic sound draft, Mix 1's final trance peaks are scaled by The Thrillseekers & Standerwick's 138 lightning strike 'Like They Used To' and John O'Callaghan atom-smashing album exclusive, 'One Special Particle'.

CD2 dawns with Liam Wilson's 'Adventures In Stereo', which syntheses Goa and Psy elements into T.N.'s make-up. With the drums pounding heavier and bass resonating deeper, its tough trance stance is further developed by A & Z vs. Allen & Envy 303-ride 'Osiris', whilst synth-slinger Photographer scripts evermore uplift and energy into A&F's epic 'Laily'.

Supplying a box-out preview of Future Sound of Egypt's summer catalogue, Disc 2 bring an onrush of Aly & Fila's label's 'forthcomings'. The irrepressibly spirited 'Unbreakable' from Temple One, the gravity resistant synths of Will Atkinson's 'Eternally' and 'Sailing Airwaves' from ReOrder & Ian Standerwick's presents SkyPatrol keep the mix's needle firmly on the red line. As the 2014 edition of Trance Nation reaches its culminating heights, the O'Callaghan remix of Lange's 'Unfamiliar Truth' and Bryan Kearney and Will Atkinson respective rebuilds of Aly & Fila's 'Where To Now' and 'Mother Nature' push the envelope further, with the final say going to Standerwick's with his own ballistic 'Valyrian'.

On joining the DJ roll call for Ministry's renowned album series, Aly & Fila said: 'The Trance Nation Compilations are legendary; we listened to the original Volumes mixed by Ferry Corsten over and over until we wore the CDs out. They were, and still are amazing compilations; we are very proud to have been asked to the Mix the latest Volume!"

Trance music delivered shot-glass-strong, 'Trance Nation Mixed By Aly & Fila' arrives May 26th on Ministry of Sound!

Mix Mission 2011!! Am 23.

One side Acidolido and one side Epidemie, a rare artists who did, until now, only 2 tunes on Obscur. Lets check the sound : Acidolido opens this EP with a 125 BPM Hard Trance tune, very progressive and bringing some italian sample spoken words ... His second track is faster, 135 BPM and more into a progressive acid Technotrance, a superb clear sounder. His side ends on an acapaella of the samples used on his A1 tune... B side opens with The Illusion Of Life, from Epidemie, witch brings a superb 139 BPM techno Trance tune, and finally the EP ends with one last downtempo Trance tune called The Walker V1.1... Probably the best tune of this EP, more mental and really electro in its soul, witch brings some fresh air ! Big Up !

After a year of hard work, we are very proud to present the first fresh ep, Elegance is destroyed composed by David Fjörgenson and Mia Kaltes. First of a long series of a great new project by the new Swiss Label Finefood Records, includes in this release a special rmx by Seph and a second rmx by Ryan Hawkin, boss of Finefood Records. Minimal & Groovy, yet Ghostly and contemporary techno is the line of this new ep which will certainly attract the ears of the most refined djs

Elegance is Destroyed - Original (David Fjögenson & Mia Kaltes)
Hauntingly elegant this track flirts with Latino percussions intertwined with a masterful baseline and takes the dance floor to another planet, wilder yet contained. You could get lost if you close your eyes as the sounds twirl around you and sweep you off your feet. Luckily you don't leave the ground, as your feet are too busy grooving to the rhythm.

Elegance is Destroyed- Ryan Hawkin Remix
Ryan Hawkin's interpretation while being truthful to the original, stands out with his own personal stamp as he applies his artful way of introducing sounds as an aquarelle artist introduces colour, diluting the colours and using lighter lines and strokes, painting only the essential leaving the listener the luxury of colouring in the rest of this intense tableau. Soundscaping at its best.

Elegance is Detstroyed - Seph Remix
The wilderness of the original is underlined in this remix where we literally feel as the sounds have gone through a blender, as Seph's raw talent unleashes the groovy Latino undertones as he amalgamates the original sounds, and serves up an exquisite dance floor smoothie. Rhythm and percussion provide the same amount of concentrated vitamins which will be needed when listening to this track.

Support and Feedback:
Christian Burkhardt : Hey sound good, especial ryan hawkin rmx
Zentex: Like most the Ryan Hawkin rmx
Luca Torre: Yeah great ep!
Benjamin Fehr: Great Ep
Furyo : Ryan Hawkin's rmx is massive
Nicolas Duvoisin: Really nice one! Good Job
Damien Deroma: The Original track is very interesting, especially when the

In 1999 Ferry Corsten kicked of a compilation series that would become something special: The
Artist Profile Series. Black Hole Recordings has now remastered this first ever Artist Profile and
Ferry Corsten's official mixcompilation debut: Solar Serenades.

Fans are up for a fantastic treat with a release that contains a lot of classic tracks by Kamaya

He was the first artist in the world to conceive, then deliver trance as a live performance
medium. Pioneering the technology and skills, then mastering its techniques and stagecraft, he
introduced the world to Giuseppe Ottaviani LIVE! Signalling a major development in the scene,
it's a form that's subsequently been adopted by many a leading light. This, together with the
release of his sophomore studio album 'Magenta' (which has now spawned a impressive litany
of club smash singles), jointly elevated him to the scene's upper ranks. His next step on was one
as intrinsic as it was anticipatable...

Back in the early spring, in Italy, Giuseppe packed up his studio kit. When it was next
assembled, it was halfway around the world in Argentina, on stage at Mandarine, Buenos Aires'.
There, on April 12th, in front of thousands of clubbers and music lovers at the arena, Ottaviani
turned Live into a science.

Perfecto Records & Armada are proud to announce the upcoming release of Paul Oakenfold's new album - Trance Mission - which will be released on June 20th 2014.

Trance Mission includes twelve new Paul Oakenfold cover versions of some of the biggest, most iconic and influential electronic records of all time.

Included are remakes of records like 'Cafe Del Mar', 'Madagascar', 'Touch Me', 'Adagio for Strings', 'Toca Me', 'Ready Steady Go' and 'Hold That Sucker Down'. Each one an unforgettable classic in its own right, and each one brilliantly remodeled to fit the aesthetic and style of the present day.

Having worked on this project solidly for the last six months Paul Oakenfold is proud to present his fresh interpretations of these timeless classics - each a huge contributor to Paul's illustrious career.

This beautifully blended cocktail of styles and moods will strike a nerve with many; not only those that will recall the power and influence these songs had during their first life but also to those younger listeners that may be hearing of them for the first time.

He the man who's got his mind on summer... and summer on the mind! Eternal sun-chaser
Roger Shah returns, front end of 2014's hot season with a fifth spectacular day-through-night
seasonal soundtrack-er.

Once again epitomizing to the nth degree his twin sonic psyches, by its mix turns 'Magic Island 5' supplies seaside atmosphere and nitric, beach-bar grooves and latterly synth and vocal driven club elevation. In and amongst them is music from High Noon At Salinas, Black Pearl, Global Experience, Sunlounger as well as tracks from Carla Werner, Rocking J, Dennis Sender, PM Attitude and a whole host of others.

'Start To Feel's story couldn't begin in a finer place than 'Happyness'. Cooler on tempo, higher on life, its sun-dipped pianos and rhapsodic melodies fuse feel-great atmosphere into the album's overture.

Through its female vocal troupe, the LP's vision begins to broaden. Founded on faithfully syncopated 80s electro drum patterns & FX, Jaren cuts it soul-deep with 'Try', whilst 'Be Your Sound' heroine Emma Hewitt returns with the torch-song triumph of 'Going Home'. Further in, 'Shine Forever' and 'The Sparks After The Sunset' (co-starring Alexander Popov & Jannika and Sarah Lynn respectively) radiate their spirited uplift.

An all-powerful atmosphere generator, 'Yai' dark charts the outer-reaches of progressive instrumentalism... then voyages further still. Likewise building more dissident characteristics into 'S.T.F.' is the Jerome Isma-Ae co-production 'Telefunken', which pans, echoes and tremors its square-form sonica, finally introducing a Kraftwerk-ian lead-line. Skilfully flipping the frequency dial, Kristina Antuna supplies mainline spark to 'Alone' - a track whose supremely catchy lyrics and song will be all over the world's airwaves come summertime.

Naturally, no Cosmic Gate LP would be complete without a substantial bedrock of arena-razing atomics!

Tracks like 'So Get Up' and 'Crushed' (exclusive to its iTunes release) have already given peak-time a heads-up of what's incoming. Nic & Bossi reap further thunderous instrumental havoc through the complexly programmed fire & brimstone synthesis of Orjan Nilsen collab 'Fair Game' and the aural superstructure of KhoMha co-pro 'Tormenta'.

'S.T.F.'s gravities are brought into acuter focus through music like 'No One Can Touch You Now' and the album's title track 'Start To Feel'. All but erasing the line between deep trance & house, they bring neverpreviously-heard sounds and styles to Cosmic Gate's production creed. Respectively, Mike Schmid and 'WYM' returnee Cary Brothers supply their vocal expression to tracks whose lyrical narratives play in the mind for days.

Making two appearances over its runtime, LA's Eric Lumiere brings vocal elevation to 'anthem-in-a-can' (DJ Mag) 'Falling Back' and a more deeply held pathos to 'Run Away'. Heralding the album's coda, early Nic Chagall singer/songwriter discovery Jonathan Mendelsohn brings an expressive, moving vocal magnetism to its iTunes exclusive swansong 'All My Life'.

Electronic Music bible MIXMAG says 'Start To Feel' is: 'stylistically fearless, panoramic, astonishing and by virtue-of, reaches that hallowed height of perfection.' Start to feel it for yourself from June 27.

Blink and you'll miss it. Wait too long and they're gone. Close your eyes for one second, and it's easy to forget just how much awe-inspiring music has come out recently. It's time once again for the absolute creme de la creme, and for Armada to do they do best. This is two mixes of pure trance as it was meant to be, focusing on just how amazing the genre has been and will be in 20

One of the things Armada has been able to do so well as a label is to keep the perfect continuum flowing between legendary founding artists and young, new talent. Understanding that a healthy scene relies on the right balance of both has been a strong point of Armada, and one of the reasons they've consistently been at the top of the game.

A quick glance at the tracklist will reveal masters like BT, Paul van Dyk, Cosmic Gate, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, and Dash Berlin. Looking at the vocalists, we see JES, Christian Burns, Audrey Gallagher - all expert performers at the top of their game. These veterans serve as a constant reminder on this record of the importance key people can have on the shaping of a genre and even an entire scene. They remind the world of what quality means.

Picking up those cues, there is an exciting new breed of up-and-coming producers capable of formulating original and truly inspiring ideas to breathe life into dance music. Fractal, Antillas, and Dart Rayne are just a small sampling of the next generation of super-producers who seem too talented to be human.

Armada Trance 2014 is a veritable 'who's who' of the thriving culture of trance, and will remind fans now and forever of the power of one of the greatest trance labels in the world. Dig in to the two mix set, get comfortable, and lose yourself in the capable hands of multiple generations of the best of the best trance producers around.
